Dialga and Palkia in their Origin Forme are among the best of the best in Pokémon GO – if they have the right moves. However, these could easily be missed. A new top event brings the solution.
If you also have a strong Origin Palkia or Origin Dialga with great stats but without the move Spatial Rend or Roar of Time? Then you were unlucky like some other players who secured both monsters in raids but did not get the right move.
So far, there wasn’t much to change. But that will soon change, as Pokémon GO has announced the big Path of Legends
event. This brings a lot of bonuses. Among other things, both Roar of Time and Spatial Rend will be added to the top TM move pool of both monsters.
This means:
- In the event, you can teach Origin Palkia the top charge TM Spatial Rend
- And Origin Dialga can learn Roar of Time through the top charge TM during the event
You still need a top charge TM for that, but now you have the opportunity to help your strong specimens or Shinies, which lack the move.
Why are the moves so important? Both moves are crucial to making Origin Dialga and Origin Palkia top attackers. Moreover, they also bring a special adventure effect – an effect that you can use outside of battles.
- With Spatial Rend, you can use 5 Palkia candies and 5,000 Stardust to increase the encounter radius with wild Pokémon for 10 minutes.
- With Roar of Time, you can use 5 Dialga candies and 5,000 Stardust to extend the duration of items such as incense, star pieces, daily adventure incense, and similar items by 6 minutes.
This is definitely a highlight of the event. But: The Path of Legends brings even more.
What bonuses does the Path of Legends offer in Pokémon GO?
The event is meant to get you ready for the global GO Fest. The Path of Legends starts at 00:01 on July 6 and ends at 23:59 on July 10. Then, the global GO Fest will take place.
We summarize the bonuses of the event here in the list.
- In the free GO Pass, you can receive great rewards, even a lucky egg at level 100
- You will encounter a lot of legendary Pokémon, Ultra Beasts, and Mega Pokémon throughout the event in raids. This includes special monsters like the Proto Forms of Kyogre and Groudon, the black and white Kyurem, Necrozma’s fusion forms, and the mentioned Origin Forms.
- Every day there will be raid hours and Mega raid hours from 18:00 to 19:00. On Monday even from 18:00 to 20:00.
- Kyurem from raids can master Ice Age, while Palkia and Dialga in their Origin Forme can learn Spatial Rend and Roar of Time.
- You can receive special backgrounds for some Pokémon.
- The egg pools will be switched.
- There is no remote raid limit from Monday, July 6, to Sunday, July 12, 2026.
- You will receive a guaranteed XL candy when trading (from level 31).
- You will have an increased catch chance during raid battles.
- The team power in raid battles charges faster.
- And you will receive up to 2 additional free raid passes from gyms.
