Collectors should definitely go hunting in Pokémon GO in the coming days. Because there are really rare variants of a popular monster.
After the big GO Fest took place in Pokémon GO over the weekend, it goes directly on with the next event. Because on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM, the “Special Pikachu Celebration for the Anniversary” will start. The event runs until Monday, July 20, 2026, at 8:00 PM.
The event is divided into 3 parts:
- part 1 runs from July 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM to July 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM
- part 2 runs from July 15, 2026, at 10:00 AM to July 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM
- part 3 and the final part runs from July 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM to July 20, 2026, at 8:00 PM
The different parts are supposed to bring you different Pikachu variants in the wild as well as in field research. Which ones they are in detail is not known so far.
Pikachu, Pikachu everywhere
Which monsters are there in the event? During the event, you can obtain various costumed variants of Pikachu. You can find these in the wild, in raids, in field research, and also in the event’s GO Pass. All costumed monsters that have a * can also appear as shiny.
So far, the following variants of the event are known:
In the wild:
- Pikachu in Halloween costume*
- Pikachu in winter carnival outfit*
- Pikachu in summer look*
In 1-star raids:
- Smart Pikachu with red accents*
- Smart Pikachu with yellow accents*
- Smart Pikachu with blue accents*
- Pikachu with safari hat*
- Pikachu with varsity jacket*
- Pikachu with amethyst crown*
- Pikachu from the 2022 World Championships*
- Pikachu from the 2023 World Championships*
- Pikachu from the 2024 World Championships*
In the GO Pass:
- Pikachu*
- Pikachu with colorful balloons*
- Pikachu with amethyst crown*
- Pikachu with Meloetta hat*
- Pikachu with Gracidea flower*
- Pikachu with Shaymin scarf*
- Pikachu with pop star outfit*
- Pikachu with rock star outfit*
Additionally, you can earn several more rewards in the GO Pass. These include more than 150,000 experience points, a lucky egg, and golden razz berries in the free variant.
In the deluxe variant, there are additional experience points, lucky eggs, silver pineapples, and a lure module.
What bonuses are available in the GO Pass? If you reach certain ranks, you can unlock additional bonuses through the GO Pass until the end of the event.
- Rank 1 (Level 10)
- double amount of sending candies (triple amount for the deluxe pass)
- increased chance for XL candies when sending Pokémon (further increased for deluxe pass)
- Rank 2 (Level 20)
- double catch stardust (triple dust for deluxe pass)
