Knurspe are actually quite rare in Pokémon GO. Right now, you can collect the items well – with the right tasks.
What is a Knursp? Knurspe are items that you can feed to your buddy Pokémon. When you do this, they are put into excited mode. This means:
- You will receive the full heart count for the daily snack feeding
- The Pokémon stays full and thus follows you
- The walking distance for hearts and candies of your buddy is halved
So it’s a pretty useful item to improve the friendship status of your buddy Pokémon. However, it’s generally not easy to get the item.
In the new season, however, this changes somewhat.
Finding Knursp in Field Research – Here’s how to get the item
According to the current status, the new season has brought Knursp as a reward in the following three tasks:
- Catch 50 Pokémon
- Battle in 3 raids
- Hatch 5 eggs
You can also obtain Knursp through PokéStop scan tasks, but not all tasks yield the item.
How do I find the tasks? Here you’ll have to rely somewhat on your luck, as which tasks you receive at a PokéStop is determined by chance. The best way is to spin as many stops as possible, but in between, complete tasks to free up space for new ones. Many tasks can be completed quickly, while more involved ones can simply be deleted if you’re not after the rewards from them.
Which task is recommended? This somewhat depends on your playstyle. The probably easiest side task is catching 50 Pokémon, which can be done relatively quickly. You can also hatch the 5 eggs easily, especially if you are like our editor Sophia and a lot on foot and currently have many 2km eggs left.
The raid task, on the other hand, can only be completed in one day, if you still have raid passes on hand or buy some with coins. The daily free raid passes are not enough for that.
In addition to the new season, the 2nd part of the Summer of Adventure in Pokémon GO has also started. This time, the yellow team with its leader Spark is in the foreground. The currently most exciting reward: A special Elekid. How to catch it, read in our guide to Spark’s hatching mission in Pokémon GO.
