Palworld turns your companions into more efficient battle machines with the new patch, and you don’t have to do anything for it

Patch v1.0.4 for Palworld is live and brings some important bug fixes and balance adjustments, as well as a spark of new content. A new feature makes your Pals even more efficient without you having to lift a finger.

What is the biggest innovation in the patch? With Patch v1.0.4, your Pals automatically prioritize abilities that promise the most damage, without you having to do anything. This applies to your active Pals that accompany you on your adventures, as well as to your Pals in the base.

This way, you can focus better on yourself in hectic or confusing situations and trust that your Pals will automatically hit correctly.

The extensive patch notes also provide further changes – mainly bug fixes and adjustments to balance, but also some hidden innovations that make your life easier. We have highlighted the highlights for you.

What else is important in the patch? Besides the aforementioned new feature, there are also a few other highlights that many of you will surely appreciate:

• 2 new side missions
  • These are a mission and a follow-up mission that you can accept from an NPC in the Fisher Village at the Obsidian Mountain
• Search function in the Pal-Dex (unfortunately not in the Pal-Box)
• After interrupted work on stations, the materials actually used return to the inventory
• Server hosts can now set a maximum number of buildings per player
• Players, summoned Pals, and base Pals no longer catch fire when they come into contact with player-built campfires
• Finishing blow now also works when Pals are ridden by the player
