The “March of the Goblins” is currently running for the anniversary of Diablo 4 and rewards you with tons of powerful loot. However, to get the best item on the path, you don’t have to grind forever. The community reveals how to do it faster.
Blizzard has activated the March of the Goblins again for Diablo 4’s anniversary, where you can earn runes and a Magnificent Spark, among other rewards. During the event, you will find significantly more treasure goblins throughout the world.
Nevertheless, it can take a long time since you need dozens to claim all the rewards. The player FlashAhAhh explains on Reddit how he reached the goal in less than 3 hours:
- Complete all goblins in one of the two active Hell floods. Then do the same in the second Hell flood and repeat the process.
- Visit Nightmare Dungeons with the affix “Treasure Breach,” but kill the goblins there only after you’ve found a Greed Shrine, if possible.
- You will likely get corresponding seals directly from the goblins, allowing the user to chain the dungeons easily.
As useful support, Flash advises about the Godslayer Crown, which allows you to gather enemies, as much cooldown as possible to use the horse faster, and to play without crossplay to reduce the chance of goblins dying before you arrive.
The mercenary companion Subo is also useful because you can see the goblins on the minimap from a greater distance with it. However, this does not work with the new map overlay. He shows his tips in his video on YouTube.
“You can do this in 5 minutes if you get the Chaos Wave”
In the comments, some users mention that the event can even be completed faster if you endure the least popular endgame activity in Diablo 4: Hell Hordes.
Hell Hordes are content that we actually cannot recommend at all, but there is an option in the war plans to make Chaos Waves appear more frequently (middle/purple path, right side).
One user writes that, without even knowing about the event, he joined a group and completed all tasks right after the first horde.
Afterwards, you can continue to farm the event for further rewards, but the thread creator warns that his stash is now overflowing with tribute bags, which have become quite annoying: The loot filter in Diablo 4 protects you from inventory clutter, but one item drops so often that you still have to constantly go to town
