Since the release of version 0.5, Path of Exile 2 has again a huge selection of builds that fans can dive into. I have chosen a very special one and it turns one of the most notorious bosses in the game into your ally.
What kind of build is this? This is a build for the new Ascendancy “Spirit Walker”. With the Hunter, you can choose this specialization since update 0.5 and have special companions, spirit beasts, fight for you. It seems relatively unimpressive at first, but don’t let that fool you.
The new Minion class has another special feature: you can also tame enemies. Apart from normal foes, with a special upgrade in the skill tree, you can even charm bosses. For many Exiles, this is now the cue to push the feature to its limits, and which boss would be more suitable than the annoying gorilla from Act 2.
This stormy fellow with his stone club has sent many players to the afterlife in a single blow, and his abilities are excellent in the fight against corruption.
How the Boss Build Works
What do I need to pay attention to when building? If you also want to crush enemies with the silverback from Act 2, we recommend the build by CaptainLance9 on Mobalytics. Of course, you can’t tame the gorilla right from the beginning. You have to play a Twister build until Act 3, which is also documented in the streamer’s guide.
You need at least 4 Ascendancy points for your specialization, and you will only get these in the second stage of the Sekhema trials. However, once you have unlocked the key point “The Natural Order,” you can finally tame unique bosses – including that very Silverfist from Act 2.
Now you can respec your build and direct all necessary points in the skill tree towards minions. The exciting part of the build is the mix of the minions. You use the silverback as your primary DPS for everything and everyone. In the background, you will also have some skeleton warriors that you sacrifice for a ritual. With this, you send your tamed allies into a blood frenzy so they can deal even more damage.
Once you reach the Atlas, you can acquire a new, even more powerful Silverfist on your maps, which comes with special bonuses. However, you will only receive these bonuses when you can upgrade the maps. The bonuses range from increased crit chance to enhanced attack speed.
What does this bring you? The gorilla deals approximately between 100,000 and 500,000 damage per hit. If it has increased attack speed, it will smash your enemies into pulp within seconds. It won’t be you getting oneshotted, but your opponents. Just the sight is enough to leave you in awe.
If you haven’t started with 0.5 yet, we highly recommend this build. You will have a relaxed time with lots of loot and especially laughter.
