What is this patch? Update 0.1.1c for Path of Exile 2 launched on the night of February 5, 2025. On PC, you need to download approximately 700 MB. The servers are already live again, and no further downtime is expected. However, before you can start PoE2 again, you must first download the patch.
The patch notes for Path of Exile 2 are slightly shorter this time, which the developers have already indicated with the version number. What are the highlights of the update? Patch 0.1.1c brings versatile improvements. Controller players, in particular, can look forward to significant advancements in controls. Here, the developers have changed several functions in both menus and targeting skills.
This time there are also some nerfs, albeit through the back door. The developers ensure in the new update that inanimate objects such as ice crystals, the storm bell, or arrow vines can no longer be used by skills to generate energy. Additionally, they should not trigger on-hit effects anymore.
However, the most significant innovation occurs in the item shop of the ARPG. Here, professional players, in particular, are excited about the one ring from Path of Exile that tracks how many currency items the character has collected.
The looter’s ring of the exiled is one of the most popular items from its predecessor. The fact that it is recorded which and how many currency items a character receives is something players love, also because it allows for bragging rights.
