What is this skill? The skill “Megaton Self-Sacrifice” has a strength of 1,200 and a cooldown of 60 seconds. It deals massive damage but actually takes the user’s Pal out of the game.
However, if you combine the attack with the passive skill “Heavily Armored,” the Pal becomes completely immune to explosive damage. It survives the detonation and can use the attack repeatedly. Additionally, passive skills like Impatience or Concentration can reduce the cooldown of skills.
How do I get Heavily Armored? According to the community on Reddit, Heavily Armored can only be inherited through targeted breeding. You’ll need patience, suitable parent Pals, and plenty of cakes:
- Breeding Heavily Armored: Use Pals with the passive skill “Heavily Armored” and breed until the trait transfers to the desired Pal.
- Inherit skill: Cross your Pal with a Tocotoco that knows Megaton Self-Sacrifice.
- Use a breeding calculator: To plan the exact breeding chain, breeding calculators are recommended.
If you want to speed up the breeding process and get more eggs, the vegetable cake is recommended, which gives you two eggs. With the Exquisite Vegetable Cake, mutations in hatched Pals occur more frequently.
Tip for beginners: At low levels, Tocotocos only know the smaller variant “Self-Destruction” (strength 300, 16 seconds cooldown). You can use this skill to test the mechanics beforehand.
You can also purchase the skill “Self-Destruction” at the arena vendor northeast of the starting area for 30 battle tickets and teach it to any Pal. With the short cooldown, the explosion can be triggered significantly more often in combat—as long as your Pal is immune to it.
