CoD: Players fight against cheaters in Black Ops 6 and Warzone – will be kicked from the lobby for it

In Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone, cheaters plague the player base. Now, some are showing how they are battling against an opponent whom they believe is cheating. Shortly after, they themselves are kicked from their lobby and receive a ban.

If as a player you encounter an opponent who is obviously cheating, the first step is to report and block them. However, in Call of Duty, cheaters apparently have managed to turn the tables. They report other players – so often at once that they could be kicked from the lobby and receive a “shadowban.”

A shadowban means that you are noted as a suspicious account. Players with a shadowban enter their own matchmaking and only play with and against one another. This is how Activision Blizzard aims to separate suspicious players from non-suspicious ones. This can happen, among other things, if other players report you as a cheater.

Cheaters report players with a single click 100 times

How do cheaters turn the tables? On X, players and streamers report that cheaters are using a tool that allows them to report other players 100 times in Black Ops 6 and Warzone with a single click. A user shows the feature in a screenshot on X.

The numerous reports ensure that those affected are kicked from the lobby and receive a shadowban.

In a clip on X, a player shows how he fights an opponent who is shooting at him. In the post, he writes, “We take out a cheater, and I’m the one who immediately gets a shadowban?”

Whether the opponent is actually cheating is unclear. What is clear, however, is that the player is kicked from his lobby as soon as his teammate eliminates the opponent. In the message that appears afterward, it states, translated roughly: “You have been disconnected from the ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ servers.” And afterward: “You have been temporarily banned from the ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’ servers.”

His options after the message are: View guidelines, restart, and exit game.

What can I do in this case? According to Activision, temporary bans last from 48 hours to 2 weeks or longer, depending on the severity of the violation. On the website, there is the option to report and contest a ban.

Whether Activision is aware of the problem and will do something about it is unknown at this time. Recently, there were problems with cheaters in the ranked mode of Black Ops 6. The developers admitted that their anti-cheat is to blame for it:

As early as September 2024, even before the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, one of the world’s most famous CoD players warned of declining player numbers if Activision does not take action against cheaters. More about that can be found here: CoD legend warns: Player counts in Black Ops 6 will decline rapidly if Activision does not address a major problem

“I’ve built many PCs, that should be impossible” – Hobbyist squeezes a PC into a PlayStation 1, impresses experts

A tinkerer impresses the gathered community of PC builders on Reddit: He built a modern PC into the case of a PlayStation 1. Perhaps he did this because he is an amateur and had no idea how difficult the task would be. For experienced tinkerers, the task seems impossible: There is simply too little space in the PS1.

This is what the tinkerer says: Shortly after Christmas, a proud father posted in the reddit “PC-Masterrace”: He built his first PC, which he gifted to his son for Christmas. He is now satisfied with the result after overcoming the heat issues by operating his GPU with lower volts than intended.

His son didn’t even know what a PS1 is. He explained to him that it is the great-great-great-grandfather of the PS5. But what mattered to his son was that he now has access to a PC – the fact that the PC comes in a PS1 doesn’t seem to be important to him at all. The father probably did this more as a joke for himself.

The PlayStation is an iconic console in gaming history:

Start video
The creators of PlayStation visited hundreds of developers, but everyone found the idea terrible

Tinkerer says this is his first self-built PC

Has he done something like this before? No, he says he has always assembled the parts for the PC and then had them put together in a shop. In fact, he has primarily used laptops in the last 25 years.

However, he has previously upgraded PCs by installing new graphics cards or memory.

The man says he bought the parts on a whim, hoping everything would fit – and is now glad that this gamble paid off.

Construction costs about 850 €

What’s inside the PC? The Spanish site 3dJuegos lists the components:

  • Gigabyte A520i Dash DC
  • Ryzen 5700x
  • 2x 16GB @3200MHz memory
  • 2TB Lexar 790
  • RTX 4060 (modified to fit)
  • 330W Gan DC Charger
  • 2 Noctua 40mm fans
  • 1 40mm high-speed fan

At 3D Juegos, they estimate that the hardware costs about 850. The case, the PS1, is available for about 30 €.

On reddit, the tinkerer patiently answers many detailed questions from the community about which graphics card he used and how it all fits into the narrow case of the PS1. He used many “Frankenstein” parts, he says: items and brands meant for laptops or mini-PCs.

“That shouldn’t be possible”

Here are the comments: The community is very impressed and can hardly believe that this is the tinkerer’s first PC, as the lack of space that the idea brings is crazy, according to the experts:

  • One asks: “Excuse me, but what the hell were you smoking to come up with the idea to build something like this?”
  • “People are just shocked because no one builds something like this as their first build – it restricts you so much in terms of space.”
  • “I’ve built a lot of PCs, and this should be impossible.”

Building PCs is for some more than a hobby, but a calling. We regularly report on particularly impressive or inventive constructions on MeinMMO: Tinkerer shows his self-built suitcase PC for 1,400 euros, using an indestructible case

The fall of Cadia is one of the greatest tragedies in Warhammer 40,000 – What happened there?

Some points in the history of Warhammer 40,000 are decisive turning points. One of the most important, if not the most important event, is the fall of Cadia, an imperial world. You hear about this again and again in the games. MeinMMO explains what it is all about.

If you have played Space Marine 2 but do not know the lore of Warhammer 40,000, you may be wondering: Why is it so special that some of the NPCs constantly say they come from Cadia? And why does it sound like such a big deal?

Even in the role-playing game Rogue Trader, the planet is mentioned repeatedly. And there is a reason for that. For the Imperium of Man, Cadia was one of the most important planets ever. And even more: it was even important for the entire galaxy.

The full extent of its relevance and the consequences of its destruction became apparent to many people only too late.

In Space Marine 2, you will encounter Cadians repeatedly:

Start video
Der Launch-Trailer zu Space Marine 2, dem neuen Koop-Shooter in Warhammer 40k

“I am a Cadian, Sir!”

Before its fall, Cadia was a fortress planet, from which some of the best human soldiers come. The planet is located near the Eye of Terror, the warp rift that was created during the birth of the god Slaanesh.

For the nerds among you, here are some data about the planet:

  • Name: Cadia Prime
  • Segmentum: Segmentum Obscurus
  • Sektor: Cadia
  • System: Cadia
  • Population: about 850 million before the fall; today about 3 million still live there

Due to its proximity to the Realm of Chaos, the inhabitants had to defend themselves constantly, and martial law prevailed on Cadia. Over 70% of the population were armed. Children learned to handle a laser rifle, disassemble and reassemble it before they could read and write.

Most children mastered shooting and killing before their 10th birthday and were proficient in all military maneuvers. Before puberty, adolescents had to survive naked and alone on an island for a month.

Cadians are such tough soldiers that even the superhuman Space Marines respect them. However, military expertise is not what made Cadia so important.

Cadia, the protection against Chaos

Several thousand black pylons were scattered across the planet, made from a material unknown to humans: blackstone. These pylons have the property of being able to keep the warp, that is, chaos, at bay.

Thus, Cadia served as the only stable warp tunnel for the Imperium to the Eye of Terror and back. And additionally: the pylon network of the planet significantly prevented chaos from spreading further in that direction.

The black pylons were probably part of the network that the Necrons spread across the galaxy to keep chaos at bay. Accordingly, the destructive forces had a great interest in destroying the planet.

The 13th Black Crusade and the Destruction of a World

The eternal fight of chaos against the Imperium really ignited when the Imperium itself was nearly destroyed by the Horus Heresy. You can read more about this in the history of the Imperium.

As a result of the heresy, numerous Space Marine chapters fell to chaos, and one of the fallen Space Marines has particularly intensified the fight against the Imperium: Abaddon.

During his “Black Crusades,” he attacked the forces of order for about ten thousand years while trying to destroy the black fortresses of the Necrons – who, of course, are known to stop chaos.

The 13th Crusade ultimately turned against Cadia itself. Although the people there fought together with Necrons and Eldar against Abaddon and even defeated him, the chaos general could still destroy the planet with one last attack.

For this, Abaddon crashed the remains of a Black Fortress, the Will of Eternity, onto the planet. Black Fortresses are enormous space fortifications built by the Eldar to keep the C’tan, star-eating gods, away from the universe.

The crash of the fortress destroyed the pylons on the planet and triggered a chain reaction. Cadia literally shattered.

A wound that festers to this day

After or probably through the destruction of Cadia and thus also of the black pylons, the border to chaos has weakened and the Great Rift has arisen, which today divides the galaxy. The rift, or the “Cicatrix Maledictum”, is a literal tear in reality.

If you are wondering why people in the 41st millennium speak so strangely: In Warhammer 40,000, people have their own unique language.

Due to the rift, it is almost impossible for Astropaths to see the Astronomicon, the light of the Emperor, which enables them to navigate through the warp. The people on the “eastern” side of the rift are cut off from the rest of the Imperium and left to fend for themselves in the fight against the demons.

The destruction of Cadia and the pylons had a significant impact on developments in the galaxy. However, the supposed creators of these pylons, that is, the protective net against chaos, are just beginning to awaken again. And they apparently have dangerous plans: The end of Space Marine 2 could massively influence the future of Warhammer 40,000

WoW Guide: How to Get the Riddle Mount Lucid Nightmare!

The riddle of the Lucid Nightmare has been solved. We will tell you how to get the black monocorn in World of Warcraft.

It took just under 3 days for the big riddle in World of Warcraft to finish. With Patch 7.3 of Legion, the developers had hidden a new mount in the game – the Lucid Nightmare. The community from the “WoW Secret Finding” Discord worked hard for three days and finally cracked the riddle. We will tell you the steps to obtain the dark monocorn Lucid Nightmare.

There are many curious things in WoW anyway:

Start video
Watch the video about the 5 bugs that made history in WoW

WoW Mount Guide for the Lucid Nightmare

It is important that you follow the steps in the correct order. Jumping straight to the last step is not possible. All steps must be handled individually and in sequence to ultimately obtain the mount.

Additionally, it is important for many steps that you are not in a group – that can be a bug, but it’s better to disband your group beforehand.

WoW Lucid Nightmare Mount

Moreover, you should bring at least 3 hours of time. The riddles can be quite complex, requiring time and a lot of brainpower – even with a guide.

Step 1: Dalaran & Ulduar

The first note can be found in Dalaran (Legion), on the upper floor of the shop “Curiosities and More” on a table. Most characters can reach Dalaran via their “Dalaran Hearthstone” or a friendly mage who provides a portal. If you don’t have either, you can also visit the portal room in Stormwind or Orgrimmar and take the portal to Azsuna. From there, simply fly to Dalaran by griffon. Click the note in the “Curiosities and More” shop, after which a purple brain briefly lights up and the first hint is readable.

WoW Curiosities and More Entrance
Here is the entrance to “Curiosities and More”.

Now travel to Northrend to the raid Ulduar. You can find a portal to Northrend-Dalaran again in Stormwind or Orgrimmar. Fly from there to the north of the Storm Peaks to the raid entrance of Ulduar.

Defeat the Flame Leviathan and proceed to the room of the 2nd boss: XT-OO2. In the corners of the room, there are various hills with metal debris. On one of the hills  (back left) a lever protrudes from the “head” of a mechagnome. Pull the lever, causing the entire room to fill with a 20×20 grid of lights. According to the 1st hint, one must draw a specific “sign” in the room – Mimiron’s symbol is the key.

WoW Lucid Nightmare Pattern Mimirion

Activate the lights so that the following pattern is formed:

Important: Each field in the representation stands for a lamp in the game and NOT for a rectangular area consisting of 4 lamps.

Then, a new hint appears in the center of the room (which you need to click) from a creature that was “imprisoned for 1000 years” – that’s C’thun.

Step 2: The Temple of Ahn’Qiraj

Hop on your flying mount and fly to Silithus (to the south of the continent Kalimdor) to the raid Temple of Ahn’Qiraj.

WoW Lucid Nightmare Mind Larva

Completely traverse the raid until just before the chamber of the final boss C’thun. However, do not turn into the final room, but go a little further – past the three trapped “dragon” NPCs. A small altar stands at the end of a staircase with a mind larva.

The typical “Bejeweled” mini-game begins. Create rows of the same symbols to dissolve them and collect points. The exact victory conditions are unknown and player reports yield different results. In case of doubt, just keep playing and collect points; eventually, the next hint will forcibly appear before the altar – click on it.

Step 3: The Deepest Depths of Deepholm

For the next step, you definitely need the item Shadowweave Mask. Tailors can craft this if they have learned the recipe. It drops in the Searing Gorge from dark iron dwarves. Craft the mask yourself or buy it in the auction house or from a tailor.

WoWScrnShot_090317_061905

The next note says that you must go “deeper than deep” – this refers to the area Deepholm. Fly here to the northeast of the area (stay close to the ground) and enter the cave at coordinates 58 / 26. Follow the cave until you can see a “dark crevice” at coordinates 64 / 23 – click on it and jump in.

Inside the cave, there is a chair, and on its back is a small plaque – the next hint. Click the plaque and then the skull while wearing the Shadowweave Mask.

Stay in the cave and put on the Shadowweave Mask. Now you can interact with the skull that is on the chair! This generates the next hint, which lies on the ground. If the skull is not clickable, then relog in the cave while wearing the mask.

Step 4: Gnomeregan

This hint leads you to the instance Gnomeregan in Dun Morogh. Alliance players can ask a mage for a portal to Ironforge, which is located directly in Dun Morogh. Horde players take the zeppelin from Orgrimmar to Stranglethorn Vale and manually fly from there to Dun Morogh. Then enter the Gnomeregan instance, the entrance is marked on the map.

WoW LUcid Nightmare Gnomeregan

Go to the coordinates 37 / 55 in the instance (see screenshot). Here you will find a set of 10 consoles, on which you can set numbers. A hint is written on the plaque in binary code – what it means exactly is still a mystery to some players. To shorten it: Enter the following number combination from left to right with the 10 consoles: 1222176597.

This will make the next hint visible, which also needs to be clicked.

Step 5: Val’Sharah

Whoever “wakes up screaming” clearly had a nightmare. Nightmare? That sounds suspiciously like Val’Sharah! Travel to coordinates 66 / 36 and enter the small house on the hill (where the rare mob hippogriff circles). Inside, you will find a pulsating tumor that you must eat. Don’t ask, just do it.

WoW Lucid NIghtmare Tumor

Afterward, you need to solve the small “Blingtron” game. Here, you must arrange the “threads” so that there are no overlaps. If two points do not have overlaps with each other, the connection turns blue. You win when all connections are blue.

Once you succeed, the penultimate hint becomes visible. Click on it, use your hearthstone and head to Pandaria!

Step 6: Kun-Lai’s Endless Halls

Travel to Kun-Lai Summit and enter one of the Mogu ruins at 53 / 49. At the feet of the large statue, there is an urn. Grab the ashes and eat them. What could possibly go wrong?

Now you find yourself in the endless halls. They essentially consist of “one room,” but this repeats over and over. When you leave the room in one direction, you enter another room that looks identical. Only some entrances are sometimes blocked. This creates a very complex maze with more than 50 different rooms.

WoW Lucid Nightmare endless halls

In some rooms, there is a colorful torch near the central altar – red, yellow, green, blue, and violet. By clicking on the torch, you receive a ball of the same color. You must now bring the ball to a room whose altar is marked with a symbol of the same color – that is, a red ball to a red altar, a blue ball to a blue altar, and so on.

It might help to draw a map by hand in a very old-fashioned way, because currently, it seems the maze is different for each player. An example of how to draw the map is shown in this YouTube video:

Once you have brought all 5 balls to their altars and leave the room another time, the last hint will appear before you – click on it!

Step 7: Karazhan’s Crypt

WoW Lucid Nightmare Chest

The end of the riddle can be found at the mountain pass of the dead winds. Behind Karazhan is the entrance to the Forgotten Crypt – a new gate is now open there. The entire crypt is now accessible. In these rooms, it’s quite eerie – plenty of corpses and strange sounds. In the largest room of the crypt stands a huge pile of skeletons – and on top of it a treasure chest.

Open the chest and you finally have the Lucid Nightmare in your hands! Congratulations!

What do you think of this riddle? Is it getting too crazy for “normal players” to keep up? Or can it “not be that hard”, since it was solved after just 3 days?

5 champions in LoL that were so overpowered strong that they are still feared today

League of Legends celebrated its 15th anniversary in 2024. During this time, the game, the champions, and the items changed regularly, and there were moments when some champions were far too strong. We present 5 of them in this list.

What kind of list is this? In 15 years of League of Legends, there have been countless metas and therefore champions that were quite strong. Some releases or reworks caused certain champions to be overwhelmingly strong. It’s hard to imagine today, but in the past, LoL wasn’t always as balanced as it’s known today.

Due to the age of the game, it’s not always easy to find numbers from the past, which is why different sources were used for this list depending on the entry. The champions do not have a particular ranking on this list, as comparing seasons and patches based on strength is quite difficult.

Feel free to write us your favorite champions in the comments if they are missing from this list.

1. Aphelios

Original release: 12/11/2019 | Roles: ADC

LoL Aphelios Title

When was he so strong? Aphelios was released in December 2019 and was a champion that players feared from the beginning. He had a unique concept and was incredibly successful right from the start. In South Korea, he was statistically banned in almost every game by top players.

What made him so strong? Aphelios is and was complex, and at his release, that caused some problems.

  • His multiple weapons made it hard to balance him without making him useless
  • His abilities and combos synergized incredibly well with on-hit effects
  • He could easily take out groups of enemies solo, thanks to the combo of flamethrower and ultimate
  • Probably the biggest point: Aphelios was so complex that it required a lot of experience to play against him

More about the release of Aphelios can be found here: LoL: One champion was so unfair that he was banned in almost every match by top players

Final Fantasy XIV: All expansions in the Power Ranking – Which is the best?

On July 2, 2024, Dawntrail was released, marking the sixth expansion of the popular MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV. But which of the expansions is actually the best? This question is answered by MeinMMO editor Alexander Schürlein with his Power Ranking.

In Final Fantasy XIV, it’s easy to spend several hundred hours (or even several thousand) immersed in the game. Especially after Endwalker, the bombastic finale of the saga surrounding Hydaelyn and Zodiark, which had developed over many years, I couldn’t help but take a nearly nostalgic look back.

Our Warrior of Light (and Darkness) has experienced so much already. Countless battles and conflicts fought. Peoples, cities, and even worlds saved. Faced evil forces. And time and again, he has grown beyond himself.

During the adventures, players were offered numerous cool content and battles, in which you could easily lose track of time. Some expansions were simply stronger overall and captivated me more deeply for various reasons.

Who is writing here? MeinMMO editor Alexander Schürlein has felt at home in Eorzea for many years. He prefers to roam the streets as a Dark Knight. Over the years, he has accumulated several thousand hours of gameplay.

Below, I present my personal Power Ranking, detailing all the expansions and the reasons why they hold a special place in my heart. Or why they perhaps didn’t captivate me as much. Feel free to share in the comments whether you agree with my opinion or if your ranking looks completely different.

WARNING: The ranking contains some story spoilers. So if you haven’t completely finished a story, skip the corresponding ranking part if you don’t want to be spoiled.

Rank 6 – A Realm Reborn

Even though my first contact with Final Fantasy XIV was through A Realm Reborn, I must say in hindsight that the base game doesn’t necessarily provide the most exciting introduction. The main questline was somewhat drawn out, nerve-wracking, and simply too long in some places. Yes, it had its really cool highlights, but somehow too few, flanked by tedious phases.

Although around 13% of the quests from ARR have been removed and the base game has therefore been significantly shortened, it still feels somewhat … long even today. This is only improved by the fact that you can now fly in all areas of the base game quite quickly.

However, the trials with the Primals, which you already knew from many other FF parts, were definitely cool back then. I also loved the raid series “The Twisted Shadows of Bahamut.” The nature of the collaboration with other players was simply different back then.

Today, unfortunately, it’s hard to find people to experience the raids. You either have to organize players through the Party Finder or other means. Or you go in solo at a higher level without a level adjustment and check it out. But you can also just convince your friends… uh … persuade them.

Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail – Trailer for the new expansion

Rank 5 – Stormblood

Similar to ARR, I also felt about Stormblood. I WANTED to like it. Honestly. But as soon as you discovered who Ida really was (and after the truly sad and dramatic death of Papalymo), the story surrounding Ala Mhigo somehow failed to captivate me.

I actually liked the framework and premise in Kugane, but it lacked a bit of depth for me. Perhaps it was also because you were less of a protagonist and more of a supporter in a war. Or it was the whole war setting that somehow lacked a bit of love.

Additionally, the areas of Stormblood didn’t really convince me. I missed the wow effect that I usually had in the other expansions. The highlights in the story also didn’t engage me as much as in the other addons.

However, I found Eureka to be very fun at the time. The system with the various areas and elements was just enjoyable and provided many funny evenings for my friends and me. The raid series around Alpha and Omega was also fun on both normal and high difficulty, and often left our group sweating. Let’s just not talk about the Alliance raids. I still can’t do math.

On the next page, we continue with ranks 4 and 3 of the Power Ranking for the expansions of Final Fantasy XIV.

Survey: Which MMORPG did you spend the most time in 2024?

The MMORPG year 2024 is coming to an end, and alongside some good releases, there have been several new expansions for MMORPG fans. We are interested in which game you spent the most time in this year.

Although the year 2024 was not packed with MMORPG releases, Throne and Liberty managed to captivate many players, especially in the second half of the year. Tarisland created a brief hype before the game, which is still considered a WoW clone by many, faded into obscurity.

Otherwise, 2024 brought many major updates and expansions for MMORPG fans. WoW introduced many new contents with the expansion The War Within and Final Fantasy XIV provided its players with the addon Dawntrail.

In Guild Wars 2, there was an expansion with Janthir Wilds, and Elder Scrolls Online offered its players the expansion Gold Road. Players of Black Desert Online celebrated the game’s 10th anniversary in “Land of the Morning Light: Seoul” in 2024.

The smaller titles also keep things interesting, led by Star Wars: The Old Republic, which, although it didn’t come with a new expansion, had a nice graphic update. But Morgoth’s Legacy for Lord of the Rings Online also brought new content to the classic game. At Amazon Games, they introduced new raids and starter servers in Lost Ark and the expansion New World: Aeternum.

World of Warcraft consistently delivers great cinematics:

We are interested in your opinion

Now we are curious about your opinion. Did you stick with Throne and Liberty in 2024, or did one of the many updates and expansions ensure that you remained loyal to your favorite MMO in 2024? In our survey, you can answer several questions:

Feel free to tell us in the comments how the year has been for you and your favorite MMORPG, or if you perhaps discovered something new or familiar. The survey results will be available at the beginning of 2025.

Developer of the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV admits to mistakes: “Sometimes we went too far”

A developer of Final Fantasy XIV openly admitted in an interview that in the past they went too far in trying to make boss fights less frustrating.

Which developer is being referred to? This is the lead battle designer Masaki Nakagawa. In an interview with PC Gamer, he acknowledges what players of the last expansions in FFXIV have already noticed: The boss fights have gradually become less and less challenging.

Simple bosses lead to less frustration but also less fun

How have the developers gone too far? Recently, the bosses have become increasingly predictable. According to Nakagawa, the reason for this was that they did not want to subject players to overly complex mechanics. However, the developers are now realizing that they have indeed gone too far:

Before [Dawntrail], we sometimes took our strategy of reducing gameplay-related frustrations too far.

Masaki Nakagawa, Lead Battle Designer of Final Fantasy XIV

Avoiding potentially frustrating mechanics also had the consequence that many boss fights and raids felt very similar – because they offered very few special mechanics.

In some cases, elements were removed from the game that, while presenting a hurdle and potentially being frustrating, ultimately made the gameplay more exciting. This trend reached its peak in the 2021 expansion Endwalker.

Regarding Endwalker, Nakagawa says his team discarded some interesting ideas for the bosses too early – for instance, because a downtime when players could not attack the boss might overly frustrate melee players.

A shift in boss design thinking

In retrospect, the designer says they should have at least further developed some of the ideas that arose for the boss fights before discarding them. This was not possible due to the prevailing work environment at the time. It made it easy to dismiss such ideas early on.

The shift towards more innovation does not, however, mean that the developers plan to introduce new, unique mechanics for every fight. According to Nakagawa, some fights should remain “orthodox,” while others are allowed to try something new.

Having learned from the criticism of the boss design in Endwalker, they have improved. This is also evident in the latest expansion: The combat design in Dawntrail is received much better by players than that of Endwalker. Nevertheless, Dawntrail has not been received overwhelmingly positively – to find out why, read here: The new expansion for Final Fantasy XIV has received only moderate reviews on Steam – Many compare Dawntrail to the weakest DLC

CoD Black Ops 6: AEK-973 Build – With this loadout, you will climb the scoreboard

The DMR AEK-973 is a solid choice for multiplayer in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. We will show you 2 builds that you can use to play the rifle.

In CoD Black Ops 6 there are plenty of different weapons, ranging from assault rifles to sniper rifles. Currently, the first meta of BO6 is particularly dominated by submachine guns, but the AEK-973 is also popular among players.

Update, December 26, 2024: The article was originally published in November 2024. We last adjusted and updated it on December 26.

What kind of weapon is this? The DMR “AEK-973” is unlocked at player level 34 in Black Ops 6. From then on, you can equip the weapon in multiplayer, zombie mode, and also in Warzone through your armory.

The rifle with a 3-shot burst is a strong choice at medium and long distances. It has good stability and a solid rate of fire, which can be further enhanced by specific attachments. If your accuracy is on point, you can take down your opponents consistently with a single burst.

We will show you two strong builds below that you can use to play the DMR in multiplayer.

CoD Black Ops 6: AEK-973 – Meta Build

What kind of build is this? According to current statistics, some from the community are currently playing the AEK-973 with this build (as of December 20 via wzstats.gg). Below, we will show you the setup that is considered the strongest build for the DMR.

  • Muzzle: Muzzle Brake – Level 17
  • Barrel: Long Barrel – Level 2
  • Optic: Kepler Microflex – you must play the DM-10 to level 20
  • Stock: Infiltrator Stock – Level 48
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip – Level 9
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip – Level 3
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire – Level 42
  • Magazine: Extended Mag I – Level 25

Be aware that you must equip the wildcard “Gunslinger” to use 8 attachments. Otherwise, you will be limited to 5. You will receive the wildcard at player level 33.

Attachments in English
  • Muzzle: Muzzle Brake
  • Barrel: Long Barrel
  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Stock: Infiltrator Stock
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire
  • Magazine: Extended Mag I

What makes this setup strong? The most important attachment for the AEK is the fire mod “Rapid Fire,” as it allows you to fire the 3-shot bursts more quickly in succession. Missed shots are less severe because you immediately have a second chance.

The long barrel also gives you a large damage range, and the stock increases your aim speed. The quickdraw grip greatly improves your aiming speed, while the vertical foregrip enhances recoil control. The extended mag I increases the rifle’s capacity from 30 to 45 rounds.

If you prefer to use another wildcard, we recommend equipping the following 5 attachments from the loadout:

  • Muzzle: Muzzle Brake
  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip
  • Fire Mods: Rapid Fire

CoD Black Ops 6: AEK-973 – Alternative Build for Beginners

What kind of build is this? If you just unlocked the AEK-973, you don’t yet have all the attachments to create the meta build. Here, we will show you an alternative from wzstats.gg that is suitable for beginners.

  • Muzzle: Silencer – Level 4
  • Barrel: Long Barrel – Level 2
  • Optic: Red Dot Kepler – Level 5
  • Underbarrel: Vertical Foregrip – Level 3
  • Rear Grip: Quickdraw Grip – Level 9

This way, you will have a weapon from the start that has increased damage range and improved recoil control. Additionally, you will aim faster with the grip from weapon level 9.

However, if you are looking for a fully automatic alternative to the AEK-973 that is also suitable for longer distances, we recommend the XM4. The assault rifle is a true all-rounder and a good choice for beginners because you can equip it from the start. Here we present two builds for the weapon: CoD Black Ops 6: XM4 Build – This is how you should play the all-rounder

After 2.5 years of dominance, there could be a new largest streamer on German Twitch again

Who will reach the most watch hours on German Twitch in 2024? The race is tighter than ever this year. In 2022 and 2023, Elis “eliasn97” Nerlich clearly won the competition and became the most-watched streamer in Germany, but 2024 is going to be really close. For the first time since 2022, a change at the top seems imminent.

Who will it come down to this year? In the last 365 days, it looks like this (via sullygnome):

  • eliasn97 is in the lead with 67.37 million watched hours. He has held the top spot since summer 2022.
  • He is followed by Papaplatte with 65.37 million watched hours.

Last year, eliasn97 had almost 16 million hours ahead of Papaplatte, but he has significantly closed the gap. He can even be seen on Pro7 now, although it’s not understandable.

The last time there was such a close race at the top of Twitch in Germany was in 2021: At that time, MontanaBlack won with just under 2 million hours ahead of Trymacs. In summer 2022, the Berliner Elias Nerlich finally overtook MontanaBlack.

Here we deal with the most relevant German streamers:

Start video
These are the 5 most relevant German streamers on Twitch in 2024, according to Google

Papaplatte grows again at a high level by 40%

What is so impressive about Papaplatte’s numbers? The streamer Papaplatte has made a huge comeback in recent years after barely playing a role on Twitch in 2022, losing 87% of his watch hours because he streamed significantly less than in previous years:

  • In 2022, Papaplatte had “only” 3.8 million watch hours and ranked 48th in the annual rankings in Germany.
  • In 2023, his channel grew 11-fold and it was enough for 2nd place.
  • In 2024, Papaplatte has grown again at a high level by 40%, while eliasn97 could only increase by 5% in watch hours.

It looks like eliasn97 can also claim the top spot on German Twitch again in 2024, but Papaplatte could overtake him in 2025.

The biggest streamer in Germany in 2024 is, by the way, Honeypuu with about 5.4 million watched hours ahead of Fibii with 3.5 million watched hours.

mostwatched-streamer.v1
The numbers from Streams Charts are somewhat different from those of sullygnome, which we usually use on MeinMMO.

Internationally, KaiCenat is light-years ahead

How does German Twitch compare to other countries?

Kai Cenat is extremely far ahead: The US streamer has 188 million watched hours, almost 3 times as many viewers as the strongest German streamer. The market is huge. KaiCenat has particularly impressed with events. He was able to grow again at an extremely high level by 64% in 2024.

In 2nd place worldwide and leading in Europe is the Spaniard Ibai, but he has lost 11% of his watch hours compared to the previous year.

Risers are streamers clearly associated with a game

The big risers this year are the Rainbow Six Siege specialist Jynxzi, who has grown by 112% and is ranked 4th worldwide.

And the LoL specialist Caedrel. The Brit has grown by 217% and ranks 6th.

The German duo eliasn97 and Papaplatte are ranked 10th and 11th, just one place ahead of Asmongold on his second channel. More about the last change at the top in German Twitch can be found in this article for you: After 4 years, Germany has a new biggest Twitch streamer – Berliner finally overtakes MontanaBlack.

LoL: An important business magazine calls the Netflix series Arcane a financial flop – The CEO loses his cool

The series Arcane brought the game League of Legends to Netflix and was considered a major, albeit costly, success. The production costs for Arcane are said to have been very high. A leading business magazine now refers to the series for the LoL developer Riot Games as a “financial flop,” but Riot does not accept this lightly.

This was the accusation: Journalist Cecilia D’Anastasio has a special relationship with Riot Games. In 2018, she published the article “Inside The Culture of Sexism at Riot Games” (via kotaku), which triggered a crisis at the LoL developer Riot Games. The company was accused of sexism and having a culture similar to that of a fraternity.

The article caused years of trouble at Riot Games, and key people were fired. Ultimately, Riot Games had to pay over 100 million US dollars to its female employees.

Journalist D’Anastasio made a name for herself at Kotaku with the article, receiving awards and accolades. Variety called the article the most important piece of gaming journalism of the year, perhaps even of the last few years. Meanwhile, D’Anastasio now works for Bloomberg after the decline of Kotaku. Just before Christmas, she published an article stating:

  • The Netflix series Arcane was indeed a hit for Riot Games.
  • However, due to the extremely high production costs, the series has turned out to be a “financial failure.”
  • According to Bloomberg, the parent company of Riot Games, Tencent, and Netflix contributed only about half of the 250 million dollars to finance the series. Netflix paid 3 million dollars per episode, while Tencent paid another 3 million dollars for the rights to show the series in China. Therefore, the series represents a financial failure for Riot.

The accusation of mismanagement is particularly poignant since Riot Games had to lay off 530 employees in 2024.

Start video
How much Arcane cost

Founder of Riot Games responds indignantly on reddit: Cynical and short-sighted view

This is Riot Games’ response: Riot Games co-founder Marc “Tryndamere” Merrill reacted unusually passionately to the accusation. He publicly responded on reddit:

People who view the world through a short-term, transactional, cynical lens really struggle to understand Riot. This has been true for various people who have tried to assert that high-quality free games don’t work, that esports will never work, that our music was crazy, and who now say that Arcane isn’t great and the series wasn’t worth the effort.

These people believe that we make things like Arcane to sell skins, while in reality, we sell skins to make things like Arcane.

Riot is a company that follows a mission. A company where Riot employees constantly strive to improve the player experience. That is why we have successfully done this time and again, in various games and now also in various business areas/media – games, sports, music, and animation. Are we doing everything right? No. But we are not focused on short-term profit – we are focused on providing our audience with exceptional value over the long term, again and again and again.

To be clear: Arcane is for the players and is thus a real hit.

What lies behind this: The accusation that Arcane is a financial failure is truly short-sighted, as Arcane has surely indirectly brought Riot Games a lot of attention and consequently money. The value of Arcane can never be precisely measured in US dollars and skin sales, but a series of such high quality and excitement surely carries significant image benefits that cannot be quantified in monetary terms.

Data from sources like Google Trends shows that Arcane positively impacted interest in LoL, which has likely also boosted skin sales.

And if you really take Merrill at his word, then it doesn’t even matter, as the mere existence of the series is already seen as a win.

google-trends-lol
As interest in Arcane rises, so does interest in LoL.

However, even if Merrill downplays skin sales a bit with “We sell skins to make things like Arcane,” microtransactions and skins are clearly the core business of Riot Games. In 2024, the studio was heavily criticized for the enormous prices Riot Games asks for some skins, which are seen as luxury items: Riot explains why they made the skin for 500 € and they would do it again

Players discover an item in Diablo 4 that hardly anyone uses – ‘I’ve never heard of it in 1,500 hours’

In Diablo 4, you can craft boss mats from other materials. One of these materials seems to have been forgotten by players – and some have never noticed it despite many hours of gameplay.

Which materials are we talking about? We are talking about the Khazra horns, which you receive as drops from torment bosses, world bosses, and from the “Dark Citadel.” You can trade the horns at the alchemist for items that allow you to summon the bosses at the torment levels in Diablo 4. This way, you get the materials you need to summon Duriel and Andariel.

Example: To craft a shard of torment for Duriel, you need:

  • 5 Khazra horns
  • 9 Living Steel
  • 4 Abstruse Seals
  • 15 Murky Crystals
  • 50,000 gold

If you’ve never heard of the Khazra horns or have forgotten them again, you are similar to those who are currently discussing it on Reddit. Others have already used the mats for crafting and find them “absolutely unnecessary”.

Start video
Diablo 4 shows the new level system and difficulty levels in the video

“A pretty bad deal”

Why are the Khazra horns not being used? Looking at the opinions in the Reddit post, there are various reasons:

  • On the one hand, it is quite “expensive” to craft the boss mats from the horns because: You need not only the horns but also other boss mats, such as living steel, crafting mats, and 50,000 gold per item. It is more worth it to farm the bosses for the mats.
  • Crafting consumes a lot of materials, which simply doesn’t pay off. In addition, im_just_thinking writes: “You transform a pile of existing boss mats into very little of other boss mats – and also consume crafting mats while doing it.”
  • You lose the chance for Mythic Uniques because you skip the bosses you would otherwise defeat for the mats. The coveted mythic items can drop with a small chance from all torment bosses. This is considered “a pretty bad deal,” says the post’s creator.

The Khazra horns have been around for a few seasons in Diablo 4, and many players note in the comments: They have never heard of them. shinzakuro writes: “1,500 hours of playtime, everything completed, no idea what that is or what it does.” And even Adventurous_Ad_4145 has missed the existence of the item: “I am not trying to be funny, but I have over 500 hours in this game, have read tons of things, and still have never heard of it.”

“Pretty okay if you want to be lazy”

So what are the horns good for? In fact, there are other opinions in the comments as well. For example, xxzincxx writes: “I find them useful – out of pure laziness – for the Echo of Varshan, because I didn’t need anything from the boss.” And Ayuvii thinks: “If you want to be a bit lazy, it might be okay at that moment. But I think it’s something unnecessary that should just be removed.”

Other users consider it more sensible to be able to make certain mats from the horns, for example, any material from 5-10 Khazra horns. “It would be much more useful if you could convert mats into those of the same rarity. I consistently have more shards than eggs. It would be great if I could convert some shards into eggs to balance the quantities,” writes irresponsibleadult80.

Do you use the Khazra horns, out of “laziness” or because you have a ton of them anyway? Or do you prefer to farm the bosses to get the materials? Where the Diablo 4 community has been anything but lazy is the winter event currently running. Because players have already managed to unlock the last milestone – and you all can now collect the cool rewards. What these are, you can find out here: Diablo 4 brings a winter event with great rewards – to get the best, you have to slay 40 million treasure goblins

WoW: Don’t forget to pick up your Christmas gift amid all the fuss of ‘The War Within’

Again in 2024, there are Christmas gifts in World of Warcraft. These can be picked up directly for a few days.

The reflective Christmas season with gift-giving is also celebrated in World of Warcraft – in the form of the Winterveil Festival. Every year, there are new gifts for your characters, which mostly end up being pets or toys in your collection. This year, there are also new gifts that you should pick up soon, as you only have a few days.

Just a few days ago, there was new content in WoW, the Siren’s Isle:

Start video
Siren Island – The New Content in WoW Patch 11.0.7

What gifts are there this year? In 2024, there is a new gift. This time it is simply the “Winterveil Gift”. It contains:

  • Toy “Box of Puntables”.
  • The battle pet “Portentous Present”.
  • 25 Bronze Dragon Celebration Badges that you can spend at the anniversary event.

Additionally, you will also receive an achievement for possessing this year’s gift.

The toy creates a box with which you can summon various creatures that you can then kick around in the best frustration management style. The battle pet shares the same box model, so you have a permanent companion – if you want a spooky gift box hopping behind you all the time.

Where can you pick up the gifts? Where you can pick up the gifts depends on your chosen faction.

  • Horde characters go to Orgrimmar. In the Valley of Strength, in front of the former Warlord’s hut, you will find the large Winterveil tree with the gifts underneath.
  • Alliance characters travel to Ironforge. In front of the bank, you will find Greatfather Winter and the corresponding tree, where the gifts are waiting for pickup.

The gifts are given in the form of quests. However, you only need to accept and turn in the quests to receive the corresponding gift – so it’s not a hassle.

How long do you have? The Winterveil Festival in World of Warcraft lasts until January 4, 2025. So you still have about 10 days to pick up the various gifts and add them to your collection.
If you prefer mounts, you can currently get a very cool one on the Siren’s Isle.

Game Master from WoW reports: “I had to explain how to tie shoes”

What was it like as a Game Master in World of Warcraft? A YouTuber reveals this and shares some quirky stories.

Game Masters in World of Warcraft have become a bit of a myth. When thinking about ‘back then’, during the time of Vanilla, players supposedly met Game Masters all the time. Nowadays, the blue robes are rarely seen, and if one is to believe Reddit or the official forums, the responses to tickets are often automated or written by AI.

A YouTuber now shares his daily life as a Game Master. He dispels some myths, reveals the details that Game Masters can see in the game – and also which users were particularly annoying.

Curious incidents in WoW can be seen here:

3 absurde Bugs, die in WoW passiert sind

Where does the information come from? The YouTuber “Not Your Friend”, whose real name is Clyde, discusses various incidents from the gaming scene on his YouTube channel. Although the videos sometimes seem a bit sensational and contain a lot of opinion, he explains quite factually in the video “Two years as a Game Master broke me – Here’s the whole story” how his daily work as a Game Master for World of Warcraft looked in the years 2011 and 2012.

Tying shoelaces as a test explanation of whether players can be helped

The job interview itself was a bit peculiar. After the usual questions, Clyde was given a rather unusual task. The HR manager wanted Clyde to describe to him how to tie a shoe – in all details. This was presumably to test how well one could explain a problem-solution step by step. Something that would later be particularly important for assisting players.

Game Masters couldn’t freely choose their names

The YouTuber also mentions that Game Masters were rarely allowed to choose their display names for work. This explains why many Game Masters often have names that sound a bit like gibberish.

The reasoning behind this was, according to Clyde, that it had to be a name that brought up no results in a Google search.

The insight Game Masters had

The capabilities and insights of Game Masters were quite extensive even back then. Basically, it was just as one might have imagined. With the tools, Game Masters could trace almost all activities of accounts.

Blizzard stored this data for all accounts and all characters for 90 days back then. Every single transaction, every gain of honor, every purchase at an NPC, every login to the game, and the entire chat log – everything was logged for 90 days.

Therefore, it was usually quite easy to restore hacked accounts back to their original state shortly after a hack. If someone wrote a ticket saying their character was suddenly naked and all their gold was gone, it was a bit of work, but everything was logged and therefore possible.

It was worse with “zombie accounts”. When inactive accounts were hacked and the corresponding owner returned many years later to find that someone had been misusing their account in the meantime, restoration was nearly impossible. Everything outside of the 90 days was hard to trace.

WoW Game Master Gift Blood Elf Paladin titel title 1280x720
Sometimes there were small gifts for players – if you were nice.

The most annoying tasks: PvP players

While Clyde reports many tickets describing just minor problems or sometimes simply “I just want to talk to a Game Master”, there were also annoying issues. The most irritating by far were PvP players insisting that they had not received the correct amount of honor for a kill.

Because then, all honor gains of the respective character had to be reviewed and manually calculated to see how much honor they received and whether that value was correct. In most cases, the value was correct, and the players themselves were mistaken. This took a lot of time.

Permanent visual performance representation led to burnout

One thing that particularly bothered him was the permanent visual representation of his current performance. On the second screen, not only his work tools were displayed, but it was also permanently highlighted how productive he was. If he processed the required tickets per hour (8 were required back then), it was good and displayed in green or blue. If he managed much more, there was even an epic purple.

However, if he fell below this quota – which could happen with more extensive problems – the screen turned white, gray, or even red, and he usually received a request from the supervisor asking what was wrong. This contributed massively to his burnout and ultimately to the incident that led to his resignation.

Fired because he found too much stolen gold

The reason Clyde ultimately resigned seems curious because he took too much stolen gold out of the economy. However, he was not an “unsung hero”; rather, he was not fulfilling his actual job.

Because the bosses wanted him to process current tickets that were in the queue. However, through his work, Clyde had discovered how to reliably detect stolen accounts and the associated illegal gold trade. Since such incidents often involved many accounts and thereby many different individual cases, he could “resolve” quite a few problems that were good for his statistics.

Technically, Clyde could handle a lot of problems per hour – but not the acute issues of current players that he was actually supposed to address. This led to his boss summoning him to the office after two weeks and giving him quite a piece of his mind.

In response to the last words that he should change his behavior immediately, Clyde told him that he was resigning effective immediately – and he left the office.

The entire video is definitely worth watching and offers some interesting insights into the daily life of a Game Master. However, please also keep in mind that these are the experiences of one individual and that it does not necessarily have to be representative of all Game Masters or other Blizzard locations.

The most successful streamer on Twitch is a man

In the week leading up to Christmas, once again a man, the programmer vedal987, is the most successful streamer on Twitch. He has created a chatbot that has become a streaming star since 2022 as a VTuber named “Neuro-sama”.

What kind of statistic is this? The site Steamcharts regularly evaluates who is leading in various categories on Twitch.

In the category “Largest Female Streamer on Twitch” from December 15 to 21, Vedal987 is in first place with 752,000 hours watched, while US streamer Emiru is in second place.

However, Vedal spends most of his time not streaming on his channel, at least not as himself; that role is taken on by “Neuro-sama”, an AI VTuber and chatbot that livestreams on Twitch and appears as a cute girl who answers all questions from viewers with a dry humor while being funny and quick-witted.

What is behind Neuro-sama? In an interview with Bloomberg, Vedal explained the background of his creation. He wants to remain anonymous, so his age and location are unknown.

According to Vedal, Neuro-sama uses a language model that responds to users’ questions and announces her answers with a cute voice through a “text-to-speech” application. Vedal says Neuro-sama is his full-time job.

The character was created in December 2022, received a new model in May 2023, and seems to be growing in popularity on Twitch.

How is this being discussed? Streamer Asmongold uses the statistic to ask: “Are men perhaps the better women?”

In the comments, people are especially impressed by the AI’s progress: now the AI can remember people and conversations. Overall, he receives a lot of recognition for the work and competence he puts into his project.

Asmongold finds VTubers amusing. According to his thesis, VTubers act like a cheat code for women: they don’t have to wear makeup or get ready and can still appear as cute AI versions of themselves. All major factions of Warhammer 40,000 in the power ranking – Who could dominate the galaxy?

In the dark future of Warhammer 40,000 there is only war. But who would actually win if it came to a showdown? MeinMMO editor and Warhammer expert Benedict Grothaus dares to make a prediction.

[toc]

At least 9 factions are fighting in Warhammer 40,000 more or less actively for dominance or at least survival in the galaxy. War is constantly raging in different corners of the world, but if they all met at once, there can be only one victor.

The ranking is not about who could seize power at the apex of their strength, but who would actually win right now if all factions were to face off against each other.

Accordingly, some peoples here are somewhat weaker than they could potentially be. You will find an explanation for each faction’s position here in the ranking.

Where does the ranking come from?

About the author

I have spent hundreds of hours in various games and the lore of the Warhammer universe, most recently predominantly in Warhammer 40,000. Alone in Rogue Trader, I have poured countless hours into it. From the tabletop, I have the rulebooks and even a small Sororitas army here, albeit unpainted. The ranking is based on my personal assessment of the strength of the factions.

Place 9: Dark Eldar or Drukhari

In direct combat, the Dark Eldar are dangerous opponents, but they are especially feared for their raiding assaults. However, they have a major weakness for direct confrontation: the webway.

Through the webway of a thousand gates, the Dark Eldar can move quite freely, but they can only live there. Otherwise, sooner or later they would be devoured by the Chaos God Slaanesh. Moreover, they need suffering to survive, which means they cannot simply annihilate their enemies, but would have to enslave them.

Considering their extremely low numbers, that would be a… ambitious undertaking.

Some exciting details about the history of the Drukhari and Aeldari can be discovered in the role-playing game Rogue Trader:

After their fall, the Eldar are a dying people, merely postponing their death. Although they once ruled the entire galaxy, they today have little significance in the larger picture.

The Eldar are now few and largely refrain from fighting. While they are considered strong fighters and their craftworlds are almost impregnable, they could achieve little against a numerically superior fighting force.

Unlike the Dark Eldar, they are at least somewhat freer in their movements, which gives them an advantage. They are currently trying to revive one of their gods – which may provide them with better chances in the future.

Place 7: Empire of the T’au

The T’au are an extremely young race, which was discovered only about 6,000 years ago. During this time, the T’au have spread and expanded their empire. In doing so, they primarily rely on peaceful expansion, but will resort to weapons if necessary.

Technologically, the T’au are one of the strongest, if not the strongest race, with weapons that few can withstand. However, they simply lack the numbers for a large-scale victory.

The T’au people are quite small and rely on support from other races. They are still exploring faster-than-light travel and need to expand. In the distant future, they could pose a greater threat.

“A lot of people were let go”

This is the problem: On December 20, streamer Sodapoppin explained that, in fact, some employees had to be let go before Christmas. The organization OTK had to let go of 8 employees, as became known through posts on social media.

The reason cited is a financial crunch.

According to Sodapoppin, the layoffs caused unrest in the company, and now events have to be canceled as well. However, he didn’t know any details, as he’s currently just been playing WoW all the time, in the Hardcore Onlyfangs.

What impact on Mizkif? On reddit, there is now discussion that Mizkif looks bad making a joke when the layoffs occur.

He must have known that the layoffs were coming in a few days. Thus, it is a very tasteless joke at the expense of the people who have to worry about their livelihood before Christmas. The insiders must have laughed cruelly.

Others say: Mizkif isn’t that bad. He surely didn’t know. The man wasn’t involved in such decisions.

In any case, that was really poor timing.

CoD Black Ops 6: The best build for the PP-919 – This is how you should play the ‘Bison’

The PP-919 is one of the most popular weapons in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. Therefore, we show you 2 strong builds for the MP.

What kind of weapon is this? The PP-919 is a submachine gun that deals solid damage and comes with a large magazine by default. However, many players exchange this for a smaller magazine that can be reloaded more quickly and additionally allows you to aim faster.

The PP-919 has the longest range of all submachine guns, but it has a relatively high time-to-kill (TTK) due to its low rate of fire.

Update, December 25, 2024: The article was originally published in November 2024. We last adjusted and updated it on December 25.

PP-919 Build – The Meta Loadout for the Bison

What kind of build is this? According to wzstats.gg, the majority of the community currently plays the PP-919 with a build consisting of 8 attachments that improve reload speed and aiming time – however, you need to sacrifice ammo capacity for this.

The following attachments are used:

  • Optic: Kepler Microflex
  • Muzzle: Silencer
  • Barrel: Long Barrel
  • Mag: Fast Mag 2
  • Grip: Ergonomic Grip
  • Stock: Infiltrator Stock
  • Laser: Target Laser
  • Fire Mod: Recoil Springs

Note that for this build you need to equip the wildcard “Gunslinger” to use 8 instead of just 5 attachments. You unlock the wildcard at player level 33.

If you prefer to access a different wildcard, we recommend equipping the following 5 attachments from the loadout:

  • Muzzle: Silencer
  • Barrel: Long Barrel
  • Mag: Fast Mag 2
  • Grip: Ergonomic Grip
  • Fire Mod: Recoil Springs

Next, we will show you the build of a CoD World Champion.
