Place 3: Necrons
For many millions of years, the Necrons have slept, but now they are awakening. Although it is not exactly known how many of these robotic mummies are active again, they already pose an enormous threat.
The Necrons are such a significant threat that sometimes even opposing armies unite to fight them should they awaken on a planet.
Already 60 million years ago, the Necrons were the dominant species in the galaxy and destroyed the rulers of that time. This would theoretically make them the strongest faction, but they currently lack the strength, at least for now.
On the one hand, all Necrons would have to awaken to truly have the potential to be the strongest faction. On the other hand, they had the C’tan gods on their side back then, who today exist only in fragments. Evaluating their actual strength is difficult, as it is unknown how many Necrons are still sleeping, have woken up, or have already been destroyed.
