One of the most interesting new features in the fresh update 1.8.2 of The Division is the new Shields. These reward you for completing certain tasks both in Part 1 and in the upcoming The Division 2.
Today, with the new update, the Shields will also find their way to Manhattan. 4 of the total 12 Shields will be available. The others will follow on a monthly basis.
We summarize tasks and rewards for you and reveal what gimmicks await you in The Division 2 when you complete the Shields!
Shields – the new achievements
What are the Shields? With the new patch, the highly anticipated Shields make their way into The Division. These new achievements are intended to provide various, smaller rewards for the agents.
4 of the total 12 Shields will come with 1.8.2, and the remaining ones will be released on a monthly basis.
Some of the Shields are retroactive. So it may be that you have already completed some. The rewards are character-wide and are intended to be suitable for all player types.
Here are the first Shields and their requirements:
Shepard: Unlock the Operations Center
Hazard: Clear 25 landmarks in the Dark Zone
DeadEye: Complete all high-value targets of a week
Avenger: Kill 10 named bosses in the Light Zone, Dark Zone, and the West Side Piers
The special thing: We should also receive rewards in The Division 2.
These rewards await you
This is what you get in The Division 1 for completing a Shield: First, you will receive a Shield container, which rewards you
with 2000 Phoenix Credits,
500 Div-Tech,
an exotic item and
2 Classified items
and 3 Cipher keys
Additionally, there will be an audio log and a patch waiting for you for each completed Shield.
The first 4 Shields are intentionally kept simple, as a kind of warm-up program for returnees.
What do I get out of it in The Division 2? The more you unlock these Shields, the greater the rewards in The Division 2 will be. These will be divided into different tiers.
The rewards for the respective tiers:
Tier 1: A special weapon skin
Tier 2: An outfit including patch
Tier 3: Backpack dye (new in TD2) and an emote
Tier 4: Also a new feature, a trophy that hangs from your backpack
As a bonus for reaching all 4 tiers, an exclusive outfit awaits you! There will be no time limit for completing the Shields, so you won’t be under time pressure.
In Fortnite (PC, PS4, iOS & Xbox One) you can finally receive the legendary hidden skin from the Blockbuster challenge. It is an alien called “The Visitor.”
The secret is finally revealed! Seven weeks ago, players were wondering what the bonus skin might be, which you receive as a reward for completing the Blockbuster Challenge. However, you must complete all the weekly challenges a total of seven times, which can only be done now with the release of the 7th weekly challenge in Fortnite: Battle Royale.
Some players have already been busy unlocking the skin.
The Visitor – An Alien from the Meteor!
What does the new skin look like? If you have completed all the challenges so far, you will unlock the new skin “The Visitor.” It is an alien wearing a spacesuit with a targeting display on the helmet.
Apparently, it comes from the meteor in the story of Fortnite: Battle Royale, which contained a capsule. In a bonus image from the 7th Blockbuster Challenge, you can see the Visitor emerging from the capsule. You will learn how this might affect the story later here in a follow-up article.
The Visitor – New Skin is Customizable
What can the Visitor do? Since it is quite difficult to obtain this skin, you can do quite a lot with it. Like Carbide and Omega as well as the soccer outfits, the Visitor is also customizable.
It has a cool cape as a back piece
Its helmet features four different displays, which you can adjust. Besides the reticle, there is also a wireframe, a smiley, and some kind of HUD.
Freedom of choice with hard consequences is important in Cyberpunk 2077. There are no fixed classes and numerous solutions.
At E3, some journalists already had the pleasure of a demo of Cyberpunk 2077. They spent nearly three-quarters of an hour in the RPG from CD Projekt Red and played a mission at the beginning of the adventure. Opinions on what was shown are overwhelmingly positive so far.
Freedom of choice with hard consequences. When it comes to the variety of choices and dialogue options, Cyberpunk 2077 seems to be heavily inspired by The Witcher 3. For each mission, there are different solutions and approaches. You can either overrun a gang of bandits with firepower or persuade them with words, sneak into their camp, or choose a mix of the two.
However: Not every mission has to succeed. If you lie to the bandits and get caught without convincing arguments, you might be forced to flee.
Most decisions have consequences, and it’s not always clear what these effects will be. Often, players will only discover the impact of a particular decision many game hours later.
No fixed classes, wild mixture. It is also known that at the start of your adventure in Cyberpunk 2077, you do not choose a proper class. Instead, there are three paths in which you can roughly specialize. As a Solo, you will likely specialize in firearms and brute methods, as a Techie, you use machines and augmentations, while as a Netrunner, you dive into the network and create chaos from there. The character can be a wild mix of everything, and players can freely shape their abilities during the game.
Different story progression. The creation of your character also has significant effects on the progression of the story. If you indicate in your backstory that you have done something significant, you may be approached about it. The gender also affects the romances in the game. While “some characters in Cyberpunk are bisexual,” many have fixed preferences and therefore may not be available as a man or woman.
Regarding the players of the demo, there are hardly any negative words about Cyberpunk 2077 so far. And this should reassure those who were put off by the “GTA-style” of the trailer or the first-person perspective.
PvP should play an important role in Fallout 76, even though Bethesda hasn’t really talked about how it will work yet.
The PvP is still somewhat of a mystery in Fallout 76. It is supposed to happen as smoothly as possible while still providing a challenge for players.
The different PvP
Frustration-free PvP. Pete Hines from Bethesda explained that every person you encounter in the game world is a fellow player. However, you never know how that player will react to you. Will they attack, or will they want to help you? This tension with every encounter with a fellow player is very important for the experience in Fallout 76.
However, the developers do not want players to lose interest in the game when they are constantly attacked by others. Therefore, according to Pete Hines, there is a kind of “safety net” in the game that prevents such exploitation. However, he did not go into detail about what this safety net looks like. It should not be possible to hunt other players endlessly across the map and eliminate them repeatedly.
Death is not a disaster. In many MMOs and online games, dying virtually is associated with frustration and loss. You might lose your gear or the progress you have made. Not so in Fallout 76. If you are eliminated in PvP, you simply respawn and do not lose all your loot.
Challenging but never unfair
PvP should be a challenge. According to Pete Hines, players should see the PvP in Fallout 76 as if they were challenging someone to a duel. You can’t just do whatever you want and constantly annoy others. The game doesn’t allow that. Hines compares the PvP to fighting a Deathclaw in Fallout 4. If you are defeated by the Deathclaw, you respawn and can try again if you want. However, you can also choose to do something else. The Deathclaw will not chase you across the map. That’s how it is supposed to work in Fallout 76 in PvP.

Camelot Unchained is starting its first beta test. Just before the launch of the closed beta, the developers are working hard – and are still having a hard time keeping up.
Camelot Unchained and the Beta: Camelot Unchained has announced a beta multiple times. Over and over, the small team has suffered setbacks. In early 2018, they scored a significant coup by securing a financial boost of 7.5 million US dollars. Now they want to launch into the beta at full speed: Will it work this time?
“We’re still on track – just barely”: On Friday, June 8, City State Entertainment published the latest developer update. In the update, the developers of Camelot Unchained discuss the current status of preparations for the game’s beta, which is set to start on July 4.
The developers are working hard to ensure that Camelot Unchained will be in the desired state for beta 1. The studio has even hired new staff for this. They said they are “still on track, but really just barely.” The team has accomplished a lot, especially in the past week, but there is still more to do.
Development Status: Construction Site, but progress is being made!
Camelot Unchained just before the Beta
The developers are working hard to ensure that Camelot Unchained can launch into beta on time. They remind that the beta will not just be an early start. Those who play the beta should really test Camelot Unchained.
This is being worked on: A primary focus of the developers at the moment is that the game can be properly edited. Programmers and designers are working hand in hand to identify and fix problems and to properly adjust content.
Player interaction is also a priority: The forum is currently being revamped to ensure that feedback from beta players is heard.
But there is also a lot happening in-game: Specifically, the trading system, object placement, environment, and animations are being worked on and improved.
Recent additions: In the past week, the developers have been able to report some progress. Camelot Unchained is slowly approaching the state that is to be tested in beta:
Players can own and develop properties. If a character is deleted, the property goes to the next character of the account. Once there are no valid characters left on the account, the property reverts to the public.
NPCs can greet and interact. This allows them to provide players with important information in the game.
Sounds and visual effects are being tied to skills to make battles clearer and more transparent.
There will be a limited number of animations in beta 1. If there were too many at once, the developers would not be able to keep up with fixing bugs and responding to feedback. However, one animation is already complete and will at least serve as the animation for the spells of all Empath classes for the beta.

New models and textures: Also, the appearance of Camelot Unchained is slowly approaching the desired standard for the beta. The developers have highlighted two particularly significant highlights for this:
A ship that looks like it naturally grew out of a tree has been garnering a lot of interest for some time. The model looks quite good, but it still needs further polishing.
The male “Viking Mjölnir” and the female “Arthurian Black Knight” are two revised models that are set to be included in the beta. Their appearance promises an interesting world.
Delays also due to data protection policy: What is currently being worked on in Camelot Unchained sounds like details at first glance – but it shows that development is already well advanced.
However, a particularly significant delay that has cost the studio a lot of time occurred due to data protection issues. City State Entertainment even had their own lawyer step in to inform all testers about the new policy and to ensure the beta starts smoothly.
This is an AI-powered translation. Some inaccuracies might exist.
In week 7 of Fortnite: Battle Royale, you have to play soccer. You have to score a goal on 5 different soccer fields. It might be harder than it sounds. But we have a map that shows the location of all soccer fields.
As in every week of the current fourth season, you need to complete some crazy challenges in week 7 in Fortnite. It is worth it, as the coveted Omega skin is unlocked at level 100 in your Battle Pass, which has also been color-adjusted since the last update.
To unlock the presumed villain of the current season, you will have to complete the weekly challenge. One of your tasks this time: score goals!
Score a goal on different soccer fields in Fortnite: Battle Royale
The task is surely not a coincidence in light of the recently started Football World Cup. Furthermore, the last update added a new soccer stadium to the map of Fortnite: Battle Royale.
Now there are three arenas on the map. But the challenge requires you to score goals on 5 different fields. So where are the rest of the soccer fields?
The solution: These are not professional stadiums but improvised pitches (Soccer Fields) in Fortnite. Often some objects serve as the goal and a ball lies in front of it. We have already found out where some of these improvised soccer fields can be found.
The following map shows the locations of all soccer fields:
Here you will find enough soccer fields to complete the challenge. Source: Forbes
The exact locations of the soccer fields
Here are the currently known locations of the Football Fields in Fortnite explained in detail:
The huge new stadium north of Pleasant Park: Well-known and hard to miss.
The stadium south of Pleasant Park: Here it is also clear where you need to go.
The indoor stadium west of Tilted Towers: This soccer field has been known for a long time.
The parking lot of the container depot north of Retail Park: There, two containers serve as goals, and a ball lies in front of it.
The field northeast of Fatal Fields: There are two goals set up on the field, a ball lies in the middle.
Risky Reels: Directly under the projector is a ball along with a goal.
Parking lot at Flush Factory: Here, two toilets stand as a goal, and a ball is in front of it.
Here is the soccer field at Flush Factory.
On its own, this challenge is not a difficult task. Every player has at least stood on a soccer field once and kicked the ball around.
Watch out for soccer fun!
However, keep in mind that due to the weekly task, many players will attempt to complete the challenge simultaneously. Especially in the first days, you will always have to reckon with more than 22 people on the field.
The location at Fatal Fields.
An additional danger: Players hanging around the sidelines shooting unsuspecting players who just want to score a goal. If you want to complete this task stress-free, you should finish the goal hunt later in the week.

How it will proceed from here is only roughly known. According to the roadmap for Year 3, we can expect all Global Events next, which are supposed to run on a monthly rhythm.
Currently, the weekly server maintenance is running from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, patch 1.8.2 can already be downloaded.
The download size of patch 1.8.2 is
3.4 GB for PS4

Shields – the New Achievements
What are the Shields? With the new patch, the highly anticipated Shields make their way into The Division. These new achievements are intended to provide various smaller rewards for the agents.
4 out of a total of 12 Shields will come with 1.8.2, the rest will be released on a monthly rhythm.
The special feature: We should also receive rewards in The Division 2. In what form, we still have to find out.
These are the first Shields and their requirements:
Shepard: Unlock the Operations Center
Hazard: Clear 25 landmarks in the Dark Zone
DeadEye: Complete all high-profile targets of a week
Avenger: Kill 10 named bosses in the Light Zone, Dark Zone, and the West Side Piers
The first 4 Shields are deliberately kept simple, as a kind of warm-up program for returnees.
Agents can also look forward to two new legendary missions. The
General Assembly
and the Madison Field Hospital
will be available today at the highest difficulty level of The Division. Officially, there will be no others.
Balance Changes to the Most Powerful Gear Sets
With the update, some of the strongest gear sets will be revised again, as they are considered too strong.
The 6-piece bonuses of the Secret Nomad and Predator will be adjusted.
Measures Against CronusMax and Simultaneous Balance Change for the Striker
A new cooldown during the aiming process is intended to make rapid firing with shotguns more difficult for the Striker, additionally, the cooldown should make life harder for CronusMax users.
This change is therefore meant to weaken the very strong Secret Striker and take precautions against Cronus users.
The Division: “Referral Program”
For a while now, there has been the “Referral Program” for The Division. In this PC-exclusive program, you can invite friends to New York and receive exclusive emotes and premium credits in return.
Reactivation and Mark-IV Containers
These are the Reactivation containers: As a helping hand for returning agents, these containers contain all sorts of useful things. The prerequisite is maximum level 30. These containers will be available at the rewards vendor from the release of the update for 3 weeks.
The new outfits of the Mark-IV containers: New outfits for the premium vendor of The Division are also included again. In addition to the usual skins, 5 new outfits await you.
More on 1.8.2:
Changes at the premium vendor: All emotes, skins, and outfits from previous containers can now be purchased individually for real money. Don’t worry, the containers remain available.
The spawn issue in Last Stand has been fixed.
Landmark “The Opera” in DZ07: Enemies spawn again as intended.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale, you need to go on a treasure hunt in week 7. The starting point of the treasure hunt is Pleasant Park. With our guide, you will find the treasure of week 7 in Fortnite.
To complete the weekly week 7 challenges in Fortnite, you need to go on a treasure hunt. You can alternately use a treasure map or cryptic hints to find the treasure.
The treasure hunt is worth it, as it brings you a complete level up in the Battle Pass every time – and thus gets you closer to the Omega skin. We will show you where to find the treasure map and where the Battle Star is hidden!
Fortnite: Battle Royale – Treasure Map in Pleasant Park
The treasure map is located in Pleasant Park this week. The map looks as follows:
Do you already have an idea of where the Battle Star might be? If not, that’s not a problem. The treasure map is irrelevant for finding the treasure. You can go directly to the right spot. It is the small hill southeast of Tilted Towers. The treasure is located exactly between the two trees. In the following images, you will see exactly where that is.
The treasure is at the blue mark.
On this hill, between the two trees, is the treasure.
Here you can see the Battle Star, just before the brawling mob killed me.

The Division 2 has finally been announced. Since the E3 conference of Microsoft and Ubisoft, many pieces of information, both large and small, about the upcoming online shooter have come to light. We are trying to summarize the most important details for you: What changes compared to the first part?
On March 15, 2019, it will happen – The Division 2 will be released for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Many details were shared during the last E3, whether about gameplay, the open world, or the story.
What is changing? What new weapons, talents, and skills can we expect? We summarize the 11 most important innovations from The Division 2 for you here.
1. New city with a new season: Washington D.C.
The most obvious innovation is the change of location and the time jump: The story of The Division 2 will take place 6 months after the events in Manhattan. The location of the action is the U.S. capital Washington D.C.: The city is on the brink of civil war, and the Division is supposed to bring the situation under control.
You can find all the background information about the downfall of D.C. with us.
One of the innovations that was immediately noticeable in the first leak: The agents had a grenade launcher and a crossbow in their arsenal. Initially, it was speculated whether these might just be additional weapon classes until Massive released some initial information.
The weapons are part of the new specializations and are called signature weapons: The signature skills known from The Division 1 are now a thing of the past.
Specializations are part of the new endgame content that will be particularly emphasized in The Division 2.
What are specializations? You unlock the specializations by reaching the maximum level. Each brings its own signature weapon and skill mods and is tailored to a specific playstyle.
Each of these specializations represents its own progress tree, which can be further expanded. You can switch between these freely and enhance all to the maximum, so they provide additional engagement.
The 3 specializations will be available to you:
The Survivalist: This will probably be able to use traps and status effects to control the environment. Its signature weapon will be a precision crossbow with explosive bolts.
The Demolitionist: This is intended to create chaos on the battlefield and flush out opponents from their positions. For this, it has an M32A1 grenade launcher as a signature weapon.
The Sharpshooter: Equipped with a powerful .50 caliber sniper rifle, the sharpshooter can pose a deadly threat to your enemies from a distance.
Important: The new specializations will have no impact on the gear system. Gear sets will still exist, just not in the same form as in the first part.
3. New Skills
In addition to a few old familiar skills, there will also be new skills in The Division 2. So far, Massive has presented a
Drone with remote control,
a chem launcher with various chemicals,
and the “Nest”, which sends out dangerous mini-drones that can also target weak points.
The new skills open up interesting, tactical options. For instance, the chem launcher has explosive fumes or “corrosive acids for repairing nanobots” in stock. What exactly repairing nanobots entails is still unknown to us.
In terms of combat, The Division 2 wants to have learned a lot from its predecessor. It aims to minimize “bullet sponge” enemies and make combat more intuitive.
The combat should feel better: Enemies and players are still robust compared to other shooters, but are no longer as tough as they were in The Division 1. Animations and enemy reactions are to be improved, and the weak points have been significantly increased to reward precise shooting.
Destructible Armor: The new bosses will have destructible armors. This is intended to promote realism and explain why they can withstand so much. You will now see how individual bullets can cause damage to the armor.
More Diversity among Enemies: In The Division 1, all factions had nearly identical enemy classes like rushers, snipers, and tanks. This should now come to an end; each faction should have its own enemy types that are significantly different from the others. The AI behavior should also vary from faction to faction.
5. “Endgame first” mentality and more variety for The Division 2
Massive has taken to heart the criticism raised during the release of the first part. There will definitely not be any lack of engagement in the endgame this time.
New 8-player raids: In addition to the confirmed return of the Dark Zone there will also be 8-player raids for the first time in The Division. The first raid is expected to arrive shortly after release and will present a challenging task. More information will follow, but Massive is quite sure that nobody will master the first raid solo at the beginning.
The various specializations and many more activities should ensure that players will have plenty to do even after completing the main campaign. Additionally, there will be free DLCs to ensure the community isn’t split.
More interesting open world: The significantly more diverse game world is intended to prevent players from feeling monotony while moving through Washington D.C. The U.S. capital offers a greater variety of locations than the center of Manhattan, which is dominated by skyscrapers and economic buildings.
In contrast, D.C. offers government buildings, residential areas, and more landscapes.
5 settlements in Washington: There will be control points that are either under the control of civilians or occupied by enemy factions. Your task will be to defend the civilians’ control points and drive out the enemy factions from the other control points.
Your actions are supposed to have a direct impact on the game world.
7. Brand Sets, Weapon and Gear Talents
In The Division 2, there will be what are known as Brand Sets, sets with their own brands, identifiable by specific logos. Apparently, each piece of armor will have a “branding”.
The Brand Sets are essentially similar to the Gear Sets. If you equip one part of a Brand Set, the first bonus is activated. If you have two parts, bonuses 1 and 2 are active. With 3 parts, you unlock all bonuses.
These are also cross-compatible; a purple Brand Mask can be combined with the same High-End Brand Vest, as rarity and gear tiers do not matter. Brand Sets will have a specific selection of talents and attributes that fit the desired playstyles.
Firearms, stamina, and electronics have been removed as primary attributes! Your gear alone determines your respective values.
Basically, the weapons, gear, and talents are structured similarly to the predecessor. Differences exist in the numbers, the amount of talents, and their requirements.
All known weapon talents from The Division 2:
Pyromaniac: Damage against burning enemies is increased by 15%. Requires a minimum of 10% weapon damage.
Loaded for Bear: Reloading an empty magazine increases weapon damage by 20% for 5 seconds.
Close and Personal: Killing an enemy up close doubles the damage of the next shot.
Hemorrhage: Killing a target affected by a bleeding effect increases the crit chance for the entire group by 25% for 10 seconds.
Kill confirmed: Headshot kills grant a +10% bonus damage, stacking up to 10 times. All non-headshot hits reset the bonus. Requires over 140% headshot damage.
Sadist: Damage against enemies affected by a bleeding effect is increased by 15%. Requires +15% crit chance.
8. Renewed Inventory – Mod System Completely Overhauled
The inventory system caused constant frustration in The Division 1. Regardless of the platform, it was cumbersome to use, sometimes faulty, and most annoyingly: It was constantly overloaded!
Before every new patch, the calls for more inventory space and more storage in the stash were extremely loud. That is to come to an end in The Division 2.
One of the biggest innovations: Once you unlock certain mods, they no longer take up space in your inventory. You can attach them to your gear at any time.
Weapon mods will be unlockable only once during gameplay. From that point onward, you can attach them to your gear as many times as you wish. Unlike the mods from the first part, the weapon mods in The Division 2 will also have drawbacks. Additionally, these will have fixed values.
Farming mods will therefore become a thing of the past.
9. New Clan System
In The Division 2, players will have the opportunity to join a clan. Especially with a view towards the 8-player activities, this should promote communication and teamwork.
This will fulfill a long-held wish for many players.
10. More choices and extent in personalizing your agents
Even in the first part, there was a fairly extensive selection of clothes and skins for your agents. The Division 2 aims to improve this and provide you with significantly more options.
More skins for your gear: In gameplay clips, slots for skins on knee pads and gloves were already seen. The skin feature was previously limited to backpacks and weapons.
Progress = Badass look? Moreover, it should be more evident how far a given agent has progressed. The higher the level and specialization, the more this should be noticeable based on the gear.
11. Health Points, Armor, and Healing
The armor system, which provides agents with an additional bar above the health point display, is new as well. This new system replaces first aid kits with “armor/shield pieces”. When used, these restore both health and armor.
The healing effect will occur over time, not immediately as it was previously. Once the player loses all of their armor, this will be indicated with a warning message. Armor regenerates only outside of combat.
Health points will also slowly regenerate in combat. This only happens if you take no damage for a while, just like before.
We are excited to see what further information awaits us in the future. So far, everything sounds promising and seems to be a consistent build on the experiences from The Division 1.
The next map of PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) has a winter theme. In size, you choose a new model. The winter map will be smaller than “Erangel.”
During E3 2018, the new PUBG map was presented in a tiny trailer. Fans couldn’t see much: a few feet walking through the snow, footprints, and snowflakes. Now there are details about the winter map. It will not be as large as Erangel or Miramar, but also not as small as Sanhok.
When is the new winter map coming? The new map is set to be released this winter, fitting the theme. PCGamer spoke with Brendan “PlayerUnknown” Greene at E3 and revealed some details.
Moderate – Not big, not small. Many fans have already inquired about the size of the map. After all, Erangel and Miramar are quite large at 8×8 kilometers. The new Sanhok map measures only 4×4 kilometers. Greene says the winter map will fall somewhere in between.
Why not 8×8 kilometers? “We think that 8×8 kilometers are good. But it takes an excessive amount of time to finish such large maps.” However, there are no exact numbers on how big the winter map will ultimately be. Whether it will be an exact middle ground of 6×6 kilometers remains unclear.
PUBG boss wants footprints on the map
Fans celebrated the little teaser of the winter map because footprints were visible there. This would be a tactical feature in matches, as players could track their opponents who might be hiding nearby.
Will footprints come to PUBG? So will the new map really have footprints as a feature, or was that just a teaser to make the new map sound more appetizing? Greene says, “Of course, we would like players to leave footprints in the snow. But we can’t promise that just yet.” He adds that the development of the map is still in the early stages.
Fortnite offers a series of challenges and tasks in Week 7. How to solve the challenges and find both soccer fields and the treasure of Pleasant Park, you can find out here!
The seventh week of the Fortnite Battle Pass is here and as already known from the leak, there are again a number of exciting tasks to tackle.
The four “easy” challenges can be found right here:
Deal damage to opponents with pickaxes (250): This task is simple. Just land in a popular landing spot and get behind another player who is not paying attention. Do this about three times and you have completed the challenge.
Search chests in Risky Reels (7): Risky Reels has quite a few chests lying around freely. If you land early, you can grab a few right away. If not, there will be tough fights!
Score a goal on different fields (5): This task is unusually tricky. How to score goals and where all the playgrounds are, you can find out in our guide to the soccer fields.
Consume bounce stones, apples, or mushrooms (20): This task is not complicated at all. Simply consume the items whenever you find them.
Each of these challenges is worth 5 shiny stars in the Battle Pass. Every 10 stars gives you a level and thus new Battle Pass loot.
These are the hard challenges in Week 7 of Fortnite
These three tough tasks reward you with 10 Battle Pass stars each. That’s an immediate level up in the Battle Pass every time!
Follow the treasure map from Pleasant Park (1): The map can be found at Pleasant Park. However, it is enough to go directly to the treasure location. How to get there, you can find out here in a guide to the treasure from Pleasant Park.
Eliminate opponents with assault rifles (5): Assault rifles are the most useful and common weapons in the game. Everyone should be able to get 5 kills at some point.
Eliminate opponents at Shifty Shafts (3): This mine facility invites brutal battles, as death could be lurking around every corner. It’s best to equip yourself with shotguns or submachine guns for close combat.
Don’t forget the Blockbuster Challenge!
This week there’s something very special! This week we will finally learn what the reward for the Blockbuster Challenge is. To do this, you need to complete 7 weekly challenges. So it is only possible this week. As soon as we know more about it, we will inform you here!

What does the patch notes say about the update? There are no official patch notes. Only on Twitter does Epic Games reveal what is in the patch:
Additionally, reporting players in Fortnite “Save the World” is now active if you feel someone is cheating
And players can watch the “ProAm Matches”, the games of the huge Fortnite event at E3 – this option is built into the client of Fortnite: Battle Royale
It seems to be more of a “normal patch”, without anything big happening. But who knows what else is hidden in the patch. We will keep you updated at Mein-MMO if something happens.
The new challenges in Fortnite are now also active:
The development studio Visionary Realms presents the tank classes from the upcoming MMORPG Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. They are the Paladin, the Dire Lord, and the Warrior.
Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is set to provide a classic MMO experience. This includes tanks who charge at enemies and absorb damage while damage dealers unleash their attacks and healers tend to the wounded. With the Paladin, the Dire Lord, and the Warrior, three tanks have now been introduced.
The Tanks of the MMO
The Paladin in Pantheon: Paladins were once clerics who no longer wanted to adhere to the strict doctrines of the order. A Paladin is a tank in plate armor and a melee specialist with celestial power. In addition to the dogma of the cleric order, they dedicate themselves to the study of weapons and armor, making a Paladin play an important role in defensive combat. A Paladin is also driven by a hatred of undead, which makes them particularly strong when fighting these creatures.
In battle, Paladins gather wrath when they take damage from foes. Paladins also gain additional wrath every time their group takes down an enemy. Furthermore, certain abilities increase a Paladin’s wrath, while other skills consume wrath. Additionally, a Paladin accumulates up to three Reckoning points in combat, allowing them to perform special heroic deeds.
The following races can choose the class “Paladin”:
Human
Dwarf
The Dire Lord in Pantheon: In the oral history of the world Terminus, there are legends of Dire Lords who possess the ability to master the paralyzing power of fear and manipulate the essence of their enemies. The Dire Lord executes swift and brutal melee attacks. They can heal themselves. However, they do not only fight enemies physically, but also mentally, manipulating them with their abilities. Through the mastery of essence manipulation, the Dire Lord can use their own blood in battle to heal themselves or to destroy their enemies from within.
In combat, Dire Lords continuously gather essence as a percentage of the damage they inflict. They also gain essence based on the damage they receive. Some abilities also ensure that essence is accumulated, while others consume essence.
The following races can play the class of Dire Lord:
Human
Ogre
Dark Myr
Skar
The Warrior in Pantheon: Warriors are strong and resilient. They are master strategists and keep a cool head even in chaotic confrontations. In battle, a Warrior accumulates up to five combat points. These are used to perform heroic deeds. In addition to their armor, natural toughness, and magical enhancements, the Warrior also possesses another form of protection. “Hardening” helps them defend even better. Therefore, a warrior in combat represents a bastion that enemies must first overcome. Warriors must always keep this hardening as high as possible in combat and constantly rebuild it.
Days before the shocking Forsaken teaser with the death of Cayde-6, a Redditor predicted exactly this event. But how did he do it? In fact, many clues are already in Destiny 2 itself!
Plausible prediction for Destiny: Predictions are generally difficult. One can use mathematical models to determine the next world champion or simply ask some animal at the zoo. But there are simply too many variables to make a safe prediction. This principle also makes forecasting in Destiny 2 so challenging.
A Redditor accomplished the incredible: he predicted the death of Cayde-6 with plausible arguments. But that’s not all: he even implicated the murderer Uldren Sov. How did he manage that?

Destiny Clue – Uldren with the Ace of Spades in prison: In Bungie’s new teaser, Cayde-6 dies (presumably – I still don’t believe it). He is struck down by his own weapon, Ace of Spades – by Uldren Sov, brother of the Awoken Queen, Mara Sov.
Uldren Sov was considered missing after the events at the beginning of the Destiny expansion Forsaken. With this action, he has immediately become less popular than Tess Everis.
The Redditor ArkConsular brilliantly predicted that the act would unfold just like this.
Destiny 2: Forsaken is supposed to be darker – someone must die. Or?
When it gets dark, someone dies: ArkConsular starts his arguments by stating that the overall tone of the new Forsaken expansion is supposed to be significantly darker than in the main game and the first two DLCs. Bungie has mentioned this in the ViDoc for Forsaken.
The “dark” here does not only refer to the colors – but to generating a concrete threat situation, triggered by the death of a significant character. “The mood will be dark” is often code for: someone will die.
The death of an important figure also triggers a desire for revenge, as the trailer impressively demonstrated. We have a dark setting and the death of a significant personality. But who will pay the price?
Already last autumn, data miners found hints in the game files that pointed to the death of Cayde-6. Conversations from the Tower asking how the Vanguard should proceed after the death of Cayde-6.
The first statement refers to Uldren Sov. Since the term ally is a lie, he must eventually backstab us sooner or later. However, the story goes even further.
Cayde’s weapon Ace of Spades as a murder weapon?
Hint in concept art: In one of the first images for the new Forsaken expansion, the exotic Hunter hand cannon Ace of Spades was seen. However, not in its original form but corrupted, dark, and evil. On the trigger is Cayde-6, which could symbolically mean that it originally belonged to him – or that the trigger is aimed at him.
The clues were there the whole time. But it was only the Redditor ArkConsular who managed to sort the pieces together and join them in a fascinating way. A truly impressive work.
Did you see the individual signs? What do you think of the story?
So many signs pointed to the fact that the leader of the Hunter Vanguard would be affected. But who will deal the fatal blow? This information can indeed be found in the game, although very cryptically.
Ambiguous lore hint: In the lore of the sealed Ahamkara grasps, an exotic arm protection for Hunters that made its comeback with the Warmind DLC. The lore text states the following:
Only a few things can see the light, yet we are not blinded.
The bearer seeks the truth, but the line between truth and fiction is thin. A few truths and one lie we reveal to the bearer:
Brother, again an ally, sends his regards.
The Dreamer, awakened, shall meet the bearer.
Light fades in the depths of the Prison.
Okay – at first glance, this all sounds quite strange. We have three statements, one of which is a lie. But which one? Let’s take a closer look at the statements:
Brother, again an ally, sends his regards – Who is the brother? The only brother that is really relevant for Destiny is the brother of the queen Mara Sov – namely Uldren Sov. Has the Awoken ever been an ally of the Guardians? Apparently yes – actually, the Crow always shows us the cold shoulder. He is not very favorable towards the Guardians, so this statement must be a lie.
The Dreamer, awakened, shall meet the bearer – This statement cannot yet be completely verified as we will only enter the dreaming city in the Forsaken expansion.
Light fades in the depths of the Prison – This statement must be correct if the statement about the brother is a lie. In fact, we already know from the story of Forsaken that there has been a prison break that we are supposed to investigate, along with – of course – Cayde-6. Since the fading of the light is equivalent to Game Over for us Guardians, this must refer to Cayde-6.
The first statement refers to Uldren Sov. Since the term ally is a lie, he must eventually backstab us sooner or later. However, the story goes even further.

In Anthem you will not be able to trade with other players, confirmed lead producer Mark Darrah. He also provided information about matchmaking features that aim to prevent griefers from trolling.
The evolution of your character and the Javelin exosuits will be an important part of Anthem. Players can further upgrade their Javelins by finding various loot in missions. This raised the question among some fans whether there will be a marketplace where players can trade with each other.
No item trading between players in Anthem
BioWare wants to maintain control: At least at launch, there will be no trading between players. Producer Mark Darrah stated that the reason for this decision is the balance of the game. BioWare wants to maintain control over this.
Trading could ruin the player experience: Trading would be a way to circumvent the personal experience of one’s own progression, Darrah further explained. This would come at the expense of one’s own gaming experience. It could also be that certain loot is tied to the story. After all, we already know that three of the Javelins must be unlocked in missions.
Matchmaking should be controllable for everyone to prevent trolling
Mark Darrah provided more information about the multiplayer, especially the matchmaking: Players will have various options to define the matchmaking personally. This is intended to prevent “griefers” from trolling other players. Griefers are players who intentionally annoy others in online games without directly breaking any rules.
These are some of the confirmed matchmaking features:
Players receive a report when a mission starts in their network that they can join
Players can use matchmaking to “fill” their own missions with players
On the world map, players will see if a mission is currently taking place that they can join
Players can participate in missions with the same Javelin classes
Anthem will have features for players to deal with toxic players.
In what form players can take action against trolls has not been revealed by Darrah. Possible options could be report and blocking features. However, the producer made it clear that detailed matchmaking is important to the developers.

At launch, Cyberpunk 2077 will not have a multiplayer mode. The gameplay demo also indicates that we shouldn’t expect a regular multiplayer mode in the style of open-world PvP and co-op missions in the RPG, should the team decide to introduce one at some point. But what could multiplayer look like?
CD Projekt Red stated that at least at the launch of the first-person RPG Cyberpunk 2077, no multiplayer is planned. The team also does not want to promise whether there will even be a multiplayer component. As the E3 gameplay demo shows, implementing a regular multiplayer mode would also be quite difficult.
No regular multiplayer due to bullet time?
What was visible in the demo? Hero V used a kind of bullet-time skill in battles, which slowed down the action. This is somewhat reminiscent of Max Payne or the VATS mode from Fallout 3 or 4.
Slow motion makes multiplayer impossible: A slow-motion mode is actually impossible or at least extremely difficult to implement in a multiplayer mode, which is why Bethesda removed it from the VATS mode for Fallout 76. The time slows down for all participants. If several players constantly activate their “bullet time” one after the other, this could lead to sluggish gameplay. There are certainly ways to solve this, albeit rather inelegantly:
Bullet time could only be triggered within a certain radius around the player using it, and all players in that area would also be slowed down. However, this brings the disadvantage that players outside this area would gain an advantage due to their speed.
All players could be slowed down, which basically renders the skill absurd and would lead to constant slow motion.
If there is multiplayer, it will likely be “different”
So no multiplayer in Cyberpunk 2077? According to CD Projekt Red, it was stated at E3 that we will not see a multiplayer mode at least at the launch of Cyberpunk 2077. The team wants to focus fully on the single-player aspect. Whether there will be multiplayer features later, the developers cannot promise. However, internal experiments are being conducted. If slow-motion skills from the gameplay demo play such an important role, we should probably not expect a regular co-op or open-world PvP for a potential multiplayer mode.
However, there are other options:
Multiplayer could take place “separately” from the regular game. Perhaps in a PvP arena where modifications like bullet time are prohibited.
Multiplayer could be a social hub where players simply meet in bars, hang out, dance, drink, and share stories.
Multiplayer could take the form of mini-games. Perhaps players play a round of cyber soccer against other players, without being able to use skills.
The displayed “bullet time” certainly suggests that at least co-op and regular PvP activities will not be possible, unless CD Projekt Red has found a way to meaningfully and frustration-free integrate slow-motion effects into a multiplayer experience. The developers’ statement that they cannot promise to add a multiplayer mode to the game makes the whole situation surrounding a future multiplayer part for Cyberpunk 2077 quite exciting.

Activision opts for a new content policy with Call of Duty Black Ops 4. After the launch, DLCs will provide the game with additional content. However, all of these are tied to the Season Pass. Individually, these contents will not be available for purchase. For customers, this means: all or nothing.
Strategy shift at Call of Duty: Activision is pursuing a different strategy for future DLCs for its upcoming title Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 than it has in previous years.
So far: In recent years, Activision has offered a Season Pass for each installment of the Call of Duty series, which included several post-launch DLCs – usually four spread over a year. With the Season Pass, it was possible to obtain these DLCs as a bundle at a lower price. However, all DLC packs were also available individually if one had no interest in specific contents.
Post-launch content for Black Ops 4 only with Season Pass
With Black Ops 4, it will be different: This time, Activision and Treyarch are offering a Black Ops Pass. With this Black Ops Pass – that is, the Season Pass for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 – buyers are supposed to be supplied with new content faster and more frequently during the first year-long live season, instead of receiving new DLCs only four times a year.
Although more details are expected soon, only the following contents are known so far:
“Classified” a bonus zombie experience that will be available at launch
New zombie experiences: IX, Voyage of Despair, and Blood of the Dead
Twelve multiplayer maps
Four exclusive blackout characters
In addition, further fresh post-release content is set to find its way into the game.
But beware: The contents of the Season Pass are not set in stone and may change until launch. Furthermore, there is no concrete timetable for when to expect which contents.
The biggest problem: Activision will not offer the post-launch content for Black Ops 4 individually, but only as a bundle in the form of the Black Ops Pass (Season Pass). For players, this means in reverse: Either buy everything or completely forego the additional content.
“The contents included in Black Ops Pass may only be purchased as a bundle,” says the publisher in the FAQ.
In principle, Activision is forcing fans to choose between two unattractive options: Either spend 40€ or more for a year-long content delivery in the form of DLCs – even if one does not know what kind of content will come and whether one is interested in individual components at all – or forgo purchasing the Season Pass and thus any post-launch content for Black Ops 4.
Originally, more was planned: Until recently, the Black Ops Pass was only planned within the framework of the three special editions of the game – the cheapest of which costs 99.99€. A stand-alone sale – that is, as a separate offer – was not intended. The original official FAQ stated that the Season Pass would not be available outside of the special editions. If players later decide on the Black Ops Pass, they will have the option to upgrade the regular version of the game to an edition that includes the Season Pass.
But after the first corresponding press reports appeared, there was an update to the FAQ. Now it states that the Season Pass will also be available separately at a later date.
Sven thinks – a risky decision: This “all or nothing” strategy carries a risk for Activision. Because some publishers and direct competitors, such as EA with Battlefield 5, are taking a different route and distancing themselves from the season pass system. Given this fact, such a step understandably receives little favor. Players in initial reactions are already showing anything but enthusiasm. It will be interesting to see whether this strategy will work for Activision and Black Ops 4, or whether the publisher may reconsider its approach.
What do you think of this content policy from Activision? Do you believe the publisher will succeed with it?

The developers of Battlefield V stand by their decision to make women playable in the game. They have some strong, clear words.
When Battlefield V was announced, the initial excitement quickly faded. There was unrest on social media when a woman was prominently featured in the trailer. Voices were raised: “Women in World War II? How absurd is that?” Patrick Söderlund, the Chief Creative Officer of EA, had some strong words on this. “You have two options: Accept it or just don’t buy the game. I can live with both.”
No women in World War II – a misconception. According to Söderlund, it is a widespread misconception that there were no women in World War II. “There were numerous women who went to World War II and participated in the battles.” There are some historical records for this, but they are simply less frequently addressed – not yet in video games either.
“The uneducated are complaining.” Söderlund even gets more direct and calls the complaining individuals uneducated. He says, “These are the uneducated people – they don’t understand that this is a plausible scenario; and listen up: This is a game. In the gaming sector, there is more gender diversity than ever before. There are a lot of female players who want to play as women, and many men who want to play as a tough woman.”

The Collector’s Edition of Fallout 76 is called “Power Armor Edition” – and is currently sold out on Amazon. It is not yet known if more copies will be made available. Keep an eye on it, because it includes:
A wearable T-51 Power Armor helmet with a functioning voice modulator, a LED headlamp, and V.A.T.S. sound effects
Will I get a beta code from Amazon? Yes. According to Bethesda, you will receive the code directly from the retailer. Amazon should send you the beta code a few days after the pre-order. Although there are some answers that claim otherwise, most American customers received their codes shortly after in response to inquiries. If you wait longer than a week, you should ask Amazon directly.
Is the Power Armor Edition worth it? The price of 200€ is quite high for a Collector’s Edition. However, you are paying about 140€ for the goodies alone, as the game itself costs about 60€. If the 140€ is worth it to you, especially for the helmet, then grab it as soon as it becomes available again!
Is the game in German? So far, Bethesda has not provided any specific information. However, since all previous Fallout titles were fully dubbed in German, it is likely that Fallout 76 will also be playable in German.
Can I play Fallout 76 without PvP or alone? Yes, but only on private servers, which are expected to be available after launch. The game is primarily designed for PvP.
The nuclear wasteland is a rough place. You may have survived the great war, but the hard work begins now. After leaving the Vault, you will face a world that has been destroyed – and that will not make life easy for you.
“Softcore survival” with PvP, building, and nuclear missiles: Fallout 76 offers many features that fit both the classic Fallout setting and the survival genre. You will have to manage your own survival, build your own home, fight with other Vault 76 inhabitants, and even rain down nuclear missiles on them.
Power Armor equipped and ready to go! Rebuild the USA!
You can also play Fallout 76 with your friends – as between 24 and 32 players can fit on a server. The classic RPG feel of the Fallout series is still preserved. On private servers, you can also play solo and simply enjoy the world.
Fallout 76 would not be Fallout if it took itself too seriously. Should you end up kicking the bucket, it’s not that big of a deal. You won’t lose any progress upon death, nor will you incur any skill penalties. Just grab your gun and take revenge for the bullet in your head!
