Battle Royale in the Snow! During Microsoft’s press conference at E3 2018, it was announced that PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds) will get a winter map.
In winter 2018, you can engage in battles for the last survivor in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in the snow. Fans have long hoped for a winter map for the shooter, and the team at Bluehole is now fulfilling that wish.
Snow Map for PUBG on the Way
The release or testing phase for the new winter map is planned for this winter. Instead of green fields or a desert environment, it will take place in the snowy forests.
A first teaser of the new map was shown during Microsoft’s press conference at E3 2018. You can see the short video in the following tweet:
There is not much to see in the video: snow, footprints, and a few trees. It is still unclear how large the map will be. Will it be a smaller version like Sanhok, or a large one like Erangel or Miramar? Although there is only very little information, players are excited.

A snow map brings a whole new feeling to the game, and fans are looking forward to it.
