Under the title Z1 Battle Royale, NantG launched a new version of the online shooter H1Z1: King of the Kill. The new developer is also relying on features that had actually been removed from the game to bring fans back.
H1Z1 is back!
What is Z1 Battle Royale? Essentially, it is the online shooter H1Z1: King of the Kill, which aims to revive the old gaming experience under a new name.
What is different? Besides the name, a new developer, NantG, is now in charge. This developer wants to return to the game’s glory days to lead it into the future. The title is also supposed to visually remind players of the past.
That’s why it’s a “nostalgic” gaming experience:Z1 Battle Royale aims to bring the game back to the point when it had many players. In 2017, with the rise of PUBG, H1Z1 started to decline.
There are some changes:
When players log in, they see the old loading screen.
The UI has been modified to look more like it did in the past.
The team brought back “old” animations, textures, and lighting effects and relies on game mechanics, such as with vehicles, that had actually long been changed.
Old weapon stats, bullet speed, and even the old map are also making a comeback.
There are no more “Points of Interest.”
Nostalgia adorned with innovations
What’s new? The team not only returned to some elements from the past but also introduced new features:
You now complete quests in the game world.
You now search the field for fragments that grant you credits.
You face daily challenges.
Season 3 and the Ranked Pro mode are live.
You can earn plenty of interesting rewards.
How is the new version received? Discussions about the new version are taking place on Reddit. Many express their enthusiasm as it nearly brings back the gameplay feel from about two years ago. However, the new version is struggling with some technical issues, resulting in occasional crashes.
Some fans feel that the changes are not far enough and wish for Z1 Battle Royale to play just like H1Z1: King of the Kill did in 2016.
According to Steamcharts, a lot of players are checking out the new version. At its peak, over 12,700 players were online simultaneously. Whether this can be maintained will be shown in the coming weeks. However, interest seems to be present.
While the gameplay with the Javelins, flying, and combos was a lot of fun for most of you, there is considerable room for improvement in many aspects of Anthem.
[…] The game will probably be good by the end of 2019, but right now I can’t imagine I’ll be playing it very long, even though the gameplay is really fun. […]

Even though the problems with Anthem may not bother everyone equally, many of you hope that improvements will come over time. Most see something special in Anthem and believe that it can become really good if Bioware stays committed.
The game fills a niche that neither Destiny nor The Division can accommodate. If BioWare releases additional content, diligently fixes bugs, improves stability, and implements important quality-of-life adjustments, I see a promising future for the game.

The story divides the MeinMMO readers
Here opinions diverged: Only in the point of story were the MeinMMO users absolutely divided. There was a wide range of opinions and statements.
[…] The game entertained me very well. I find the story, including side missions, absolutely solid.

MeinMMO readers like buYanotherSheep and Captain Rex agreed with him. While Captain Rex noted that he would have liked to see more of it.
The small story snippets discovered by the freelancers were rather praised. They provided entertainment value and elicited some chuckles. These include funny radio broadcasts that gave more insight into the characters and the world or quirky adventures like those of detective Hoppel.
Dominion are the main antagonists of Anthem
The user Kristian Steiffen, on the other hand, did not like the story:
[…] The story is… really not worthy of such a great story-making studio like BioWare. The story neither has truly surprising twists, nor a serious “opponent”, nor interesting characters. […]
He is by no means alone in his opinion in the comments.
Quite often, MeinMMO readers have also said that the story in a game like Anthem actually interests them less and therefore it’s not a big problem for them if it’s not that great.
For these readers, the gameplay elements were a more important factor.
It’s a balancing act that the developers are trying with Anthem: fans of single-player games with deep stories might uninstall the game in disappointment after finishing the campaign. Players who want constant co-op action with friends or teammates assigned through matchmaking might be annoyed by the numerous dialogues between missions.

On Meta-Critic, Anthem stands at 60% on PC.

Is Anthem worth it for me?
Anthem is worth it for you if:
You enjoy exploring beautiful and atmospheric worlds in games.
You have always wanted to feel like Iron Man.
You like collecting lore snippets scattered throughout the world that provide additional info about the story.
You tend to take your time in games and explore everything thoroughly.
You find the constant grind for new upgrades satisfying.
Anthem is not for you if:
You place a lot of value on getting to the endgame quickly and seeing a lot of content there.
You are looking for PvP content.
You want a story depth like in other BioWare titles.
You have absolutely no patience with bugs and performance issues.
You expect a lot of variety in mission and quest design.

The community says: Solid foundation with room for improvement
In general, the rating of Anthem among MeinMMO users is somewhat higher than among the trade press.
MeinMMO readers give Anthem 72% in the test
The distribution of votes in the survey: A total of 4,280 users participated in the survey over the past week.
While there were outliers both upwards and downwards, the average rating is 7.17 out of a maximum of 10 points. That would be 72% for Anthem in the MeinMMO reader test in the usual 100-point scoring format.
On Meta-Critic, Anthem stands at 60% on PC.

You expect a lot of variety in mission and quest design.
We wanted to know your opinion on Anthem and you responded: Here’s how the readers of MeinMMO rate the online RPG Anthem (PC, PS4, Xbox One) in the review.
Visually a beautiful game world: One of the points that many of you mentioned right at the beginning of your comments was the world of Anthem.
The world is, according to user comments, very beautiful to look at. The design of the world of Anthem is also praised: it has a mysterious flair and is fun to explore.
[…] Anthem already offers an appealing, pretty world. The graphics are obviously stunning and even run smoothly on my rather old machine. […]
Comment by Kristian Steiffen
Sunrise in Anthem
The open world needs more content: However, you wish for more variety in this beautiful world. For some MeinMMO readers, there isn’t enough happening in the open world.
Open world events are rare and are not marked on the map. There could also be more wild animals and monsters that would give the world more life.
[…] The variety of world events is a bit scant and repeats quickly. Kill this, defend that, deliver part A to B. […]
Comment by Pacman
The Javelins are the stars of Anthem
That’s why you liked the Javelins: Another feature of Anthem that most readers agreed on in the comments is the Javelins—the four classes of the game.
This core aspect of Anthem and the gameplay elements associated with it convinced many of you.
[…] The four different Javelins play very differently, and that you don’t have to play everything from scratch for each Javelin is a very good idea. […]
Comment by TomRobJonsen
The Javelins all play differently according to your comments and have their strengths, even if the balance is not yet 100%. The four different mechs cover most playstyles with their builds, and there’s something for almost everyone.
Ranger, Storm, Colossus, and Interceptor Javelin
Abilities convey a feeling of strength: The various skills of the Javelin are also convincing. They feel powerful according to reader comments, and the combo system is especially fun in teams with friends.
Even readers who ultimately rated Anthem negatively found the system good.
[…] When I hover over the battlefield, freeze a whole company of enemies, and my buddy smashes down from above with his Colossus, we cheer like little kids when the ice cream truck comes. […]
Comment by Sleeping-Ex
Flying is the most popular feature: Special mention among the features goes to flying. Many of you considered this one of the best features of the Javelins.
Storm Javelin rains death and destruction from the sky
A large portion of readers in the comments praised the wonderful feeling that flying provides and the intuitive control of the Javelins in flight.
[…] Flying is incredible; it’s fun to be able to escape from dangerous situations or simply explore the world. […]
Comment by ChrizQ
Some also expressed slight frustration that flying is time-limited and that due to overheating, you either have to find a waterfall or land.
Gostha said: “The only thing that brings Anthem down for me is the nice weather in the game! I can’t fly for long! Bring on the rain!”
Explore the world from the air
The loading screen of terrible infinity and other bugs
This is what you criticized about the performance: One of the main criticisms of Anthem were performance issues, as well as bugs many of you encountered.
Especially the many and seemingly endless loading screens really annoyed the readers of MeinMMO.
[…] Loading times are pure horror. Because if you don’t catch up with your team in time, you land back on the loading screen […]
Long loading screens were a criticism point for many testers.
Your comments on the bugs were rather mixed. While most readers found them annoying, rather few believed they would completely ruin the fun. Some of the bugs listed included:
Sound bug that causes loss of audio in the game and can only be fixed by restarting.
Connection drops during missions that sometimes lead to loss of loot.
Bug that makes entering the Javelins impossible.
Quest and mission progress sometimes does not update.
In general, you were quite unanimous in the comments that the bugs and performance issues are a problem, but they will still be fixed over time.
An Interceptor Javelin that could equip armor parts of a Colossus due to a bug
Monotonous tasks and lack of endgame
The most criticism was received for the mission and quest design, as well as the endgame of Anthem.
This is what you criticized about the missions: According to the MeinMMO readership, the missions and quests are designed to be far too monotonous. Just like with the world events, more variety was wished for here.
[…] The missions are always of the sort to first go to point A, then to point B, and then to point C. […]
Comment by KronosX2
And many other readers also found that there is room for improvement.
These are the problems with the endgame: The endgame of Anthem is also one of the features that received a lot of criticism.
Many of you felt that the multiple difficulty levels do not compensate for the fact that the missions are monotonous, and there are only three Strongholds.
[…] I think there are too few Strongholds; 3 is really scant, it should already be at least double that. […]
Comment by Kendrick Young
But the lack of variety among enemies was also criticized, and you requested a change in the comments on that point.
[…] Bosses have no mechanics and are just cookie-cutter bullet sponges. Hardly any variety among enemy types, as you feel like you only fight against one of the 3 factions 90% of the time. […]
Comment by LittleEllie
Another problem was the hit feedback during fights. Especially on higher difficulty levels, enemies, like snipers, are often able to send a Javelin to the junkyard with just a few shots.
Titans are among the more common boss enemies in Anthem
Accordingly, it was really frustrating for some of you that it was difficult to see where you were being shot from due to the lack of hit feedback.
[…] I never know where I am being shot or hit from, and some of those melee fighters or snipers can hit you hard to 5%. […]
Comment by ConsoleCowboy
Bosses are often described as challenging, but deep mechanics are missed. The Javelins, on the other hand, are currently the key to the complex, varied gameplay:
I particularly noticed the parallels to other MMORPGs and role-playing games here. The use of the specific abilities of individual Javelins and the resulting synergies are key to completing activities at the highest difficulty levels.
At first, I triggered combos with my Storm myself, rarely paid attention to my teammates, and hardly communicated with them. By now, my build consists solely of weapons and abilities that inflict various status effects on enemies to prepare combos for the other Javelins.
User review by Christoph Schmeling
This is what you say about the loot: Your opinions on the loot in Anthem were rather divided. What was predominantly rated well:
The random rolls on gear, which motivate the grind for better items.
The various abilities and components that can greatly influence and change builds.
The recent adjustments moved in the right direction.
But there were also negative points you mentioned:
The inscriptions on the items are sometimes totally nonsensical and are poorly explained.
Effort and reward for the higher difficulties of the Stronghold don’t pay off, especially for activities from Grandmaster 2.
Normal and legendary or masterwork weapons look the same; there is no variety in weapon design.
The absence of rerolls.

While the gameplay with the Javelins, flying, and combos was a lot of fun for most of you, there is considerable room for improvement in many aspects of Anthem.

The story divides the MeinMMO readers
Here opinions diverged: Only in the point of story were the MeinMMO users absolutely divided. There was a wide range of opinions and statements.
[…] The game entertained me very well. I find the story, including side missions, absolutely solid.
Comment by Sempertalis

While there were outliers both upwards and downwards, the average rating is 7.17 out of a maximum of 10 points. That would be 72% for Anthem in the MeinMMO reader test in the usual 100-point scoring format.
On Meta-Critic, Anthem stands at 60% on PC.

In Apex Legends there are many ways to equip yourself. It is important to know exactly what you are looking for. We present you our weapon combos for battle royale.
If you want to achieve victory in Apex Legends, you should be well-informed. It is particularly important to know which weapon is useful in which situation. Naturally, the speed at which you can access the respective weapons also plays a role.
Based on personal experience in the game and assessments from streamers and professionals, we have compiled a list of combinations for you.
[toc]
Wingman/Peacekeeper, the Storm Assault
What kind of combination is this? The combination of the Wingman pistol and the Peacekeeper shotgun is often used by streamers, even though at least the shotgun has caused frustration. It combines a lot of firepower but requires precise aiming from the shooter.
In what situation is it useful? Both weapons are most effective at short and mid-short distances. They are particularly sensible when you play aggressively and want to pressure the opponents. Use them in offensive setups with good attack potential.
The Peacekeeper.
These are the advantages:
both weapons can use a Threat Detector that lets you see opponents through smoke
enormous damage can take down opponents in just a few shots
These are the disadvantages:
if you don’t aim precisely, you quickly lose an encounter due to the required closeness to the opponent
for maximum effectiveness you need the Hop-Ups Precision Choke and Skullpiercer
Alternatives: EVA-8 or R-99 instead of the Peacekeeper
The Wingman.
Longbow/Wingman, for Snipers
What kind of combination is this? The combination of the Longbow sniper rifle and the Wingman pistol covers both long distances and close combat. Additionally, it only requires one type of ammunition. If you enjoy playing as a scout and sniper, this combination is ideal.
In what situation is it useful? The combination is especially suitable for mid-game and for situations where you have a good overview from elevated positions. With the Longbow, you can pick off unprotected opponents. The Wingman, which is also ranked high in our tier list, provides cover when you are ambushed.
The Longbow, a heavy sniper rifle.
These are the advantages:
low ammunition consumption, leaving more space for grenades and healing
ability to take down well-armored opponents effectively
good overview and scouting
These are the disadvantages:
you need two Skullpiercers for maximum effectiveness
both weapons are slow. If you are overrun, you have little chance
Alternatives: EVA-8 or Peacekeeper instead of Wingman, Triple Take with Precision Choke instead of Longbow
What kind of combination is this? This combination consists of the light machine gun Spitfire and the automatic shotgun EVA-8. Although the EVA-8 is often looked down upon, it ranks high on the tier list of top player Dizzy.
In what situation is it useful? Both weapons are well-suited to cover opponents and areas with bullets and shrapnel. You can suppress entire squads or provide fire support for friends.
This is the Spitfire
These are the advantages:
high damage, especially in confined spaces and at close range
large magazines, requiring less frequent reloads in combat
These are the disadvantages:
both weapons consume a lot of ammunition, limiting your inventory space
not suitable for fights beyond medium range
Alternatives: Peacekeeper instead of EVA-8, Devotion with Turbocharger instead of Spitfire
The Devotion is rarely used.
Scout/R-301, the Commando Soldier
What kind of combination is this? The choice of R-301 and Scout is an “all-rounder” choice. The range of both weapons complements each other at all distances, so you will always be at least “good”.
In what situation is it useful? This loadout is suitable for pretty much any situation. You have the right answer for every playstyle and a counter for the opponent at hand.
The R-301 Carbine with 2 firing modes.
These are the advantages:
consistent damage at all distances
high customizability through various attachments
no hop-ups required
These are the disadvantages:
only one ammunition type. If you run out of light ammunition, you have a problem
no weapon is “outstanding” in its category. The combination only becomes stronger with your skill
Alternatives: Hemlok or Flatline instead of R-301
Rarely used: The Hemlok.
R-99/Wingman, the Close Combat Massacre
What kind of combination is this? With the combination of Wingman and R-99, you should play when you want to cause a ruckus. No matter who gets too close, they will regret it and either die or flee.
In what situation is it useful? For any encounter at close range, especially for house battles, like in Skull Town or the Bunker. Here, you can really heat things up for the opponents.
The submachine gun R-99.
These are the advantages:
enormous damage output at close range. The firing rate of the R-99 also helps to drive opponents back
both weapons are quickly reloadable, which is very useful in close-range firefights
These are the disadvantages:
high ammunition consumption of the R-99
hardly effective outside close combat
Alternatives: Peacekeeper instead of Wingman, Alternator instead of R-99
A good alternative: the Alternator
General Tips
When playing, you should pay attention to choosing weapons that suit you. Even the best weapon will not win you the game if you cannot handle it.
Conversely, seemingly weak weapons can become lethal in the right hands. The right movement is also important. With our tips, you can move better.
Our combinations are only a guideline and tips for different playstyles. You should also consider that you may be better or worse suited to certain tactics due to the abilities of various legends.

Anthem will receive another patch on March 12th. We have summarized some highlights of the update that were presented in the last live stream for you here.
In the last live stream about Anthem, lead producer Ben Irving and community manager Jesse Anderson talked about the upcoming changes with the next patch. According to their statement, there are about 300 changes in the patch notes, and there may be up to five fixes included in one change.
The focus of the next patch is clearly on bug fixes and quality of life improvements.
The next patch on March 12th brings some important changes to Anthem.
These are the highlights from the patch on March 12th
Changes will be made: Only some of the upcoming changes were mentioned in the live stream. Additionally, the developers answered some questions from the community. You can find a summary of the stream here in the Anthem subreddit as well as as VoD on Twitch.
Bugs
Many crashes on Xbox One, PS4, and PC are said to be fixed
Work is still being done on: The team continues to review community feedback. Further recurring events, such as “Outlaw Outrage” or “Giant Task”, are in planning. There is also talk of a statistics page.
Work is still ongoing on a major bug: The glitch of the health display, where the Javelin suddenly has less health than it should, has not yet been resolved.
More content is set to be added to Anthem in March, as already announced in the roadmap. The developers are working to have the “Elysian Stronghold Caches” in the game by the end of March.
In Fortnite there is currently a bug that causes players to die instantly at a certain location. Instead of getting upset about it, players actually love this glitch.
Although Epic has already confirmed this as a bug, many players celebrate this glitch. The topic has gained a lot of traction on Reddit, and fans want to keep the bug.
This is why the bug is so loved
This is what’s behind it: Fortnite is affectionately referred to as “Fork Knife” by some players. This joke plays well with Epic, who has already included a truck in the game that says “Fork Knife” on it.
The Fork Knife truck in the game
That is why the knife and fork were also engraved into the ground at Fatal Fields. The fact that a glitch occurs exactly at this spot, which was originally meant as a joke, delights many players.
This is what was initially thought: After the error became known, many players considered it a funny Easter egg. They thought Epic had taken revenge on players for constantly referring to the game as “Fork Knife.” At least, that is what some fans suspected.
There was clarification: Epic weighed in on the topic on Twitter and referred to the issue as a bug. They aim to fix it as soon as possible.
This is what Epic writes about the bug.
This is what players love about the bug: On Twitter, Epic was repeatedly asked after their tweet if they could keep the bug. After all, it fits so well with the story of “Fork Knife.”
There were also other reasons for this. For example, “Srcheeto” wrote: “Do not fix the bug. It’s a knife, and that’s just dangerous!”
Another user writes: “Don’t mess with the Fork Knife! Lmao”
Also, on Reddit , the topic is being discussed. A user writes there: “Haven’t your parents taught you not to play with knives?”
What do you think of the bug? Annoying, or do you find it funny too?
In Destiny 2, the new season changes a lot, but nothing about the vendors in the Tower. There was no vendor reset, which leaves many armor sets useless and the loot pool slim. This frustrates some Guardians.
This is the new hot topic on Reddit: Yesterday, a topic heated up on Reddit about Destiny.
The thread garnered over 7300 upvotes and 857 comments in a short time. This clearly frustrates many.
The accusation: “Bungie wastes creative resources designing legendary ships, ghosts, and sparrows to inflate the loot pool of the Eververse – but this is already the second season without a vendor reset.”
This means all NPCs in the Tower are useless, except to accept bounties, as stated on Reddit.
The 4 Gambit Prime sets in Destiny 2
Loot shooter without new loot
The problem in detail: Generally, players want more loot and variety in Destiny 2, even with the “regular equipment.”
Some Guardians feel that Bungie neglects this aspect of the game:
There are hardly any new weapons to earn.
The only “non-Eververse” and “non-event” set of armor is the 4 new Gambit Prime sets.
Bungie probably expects players to farm the same armor for the 12th time.
Meanwhile, 20 armor sets are useless, and there has been no vendor reset since Forsaken (via reddit). Many armors have been neglected and are currently obsolete, like the “flawless Trials Armor”
Tess Everis, she is the villain again
In contrast, Bungie puts too much energy into the Eververse because it is a constant source of income. This, however, also frustrates people:
Ships and sparrows are useless there and just reskins, and people won’t spend money on that.
Generally, some Guardians suspect Bungie of making the standard armors look “bad and rusty” while making the Eververse armors look “great and shiny.”
What players wish for: A “vendor reset,” as it’s called in Destiny, is actually a “loot exchange.”
Players won’t use their old armors and standard weapons anymore but new ones:
there should be new sets and weapons for activities in the Crucible, in Gambit, in PvE, and in other areas
and also a batch of “newly designed weapons”
That used to happen from time to time in Destiny when a new DLC also brought a “vendor reset” and the countless legendary items in the game were swapped for “new” ones.
This is an important thing for many players who expect a “loot shooter” to regularly provide new loot. They want new outfits for their Guardians, weapons that feel a little different, simply variety in their daily routine.
Harvester in Gambit Prime
Mini-DLCs are tightly packed
This is what it’s about: The three Year 2 expansions of Destiny 2 that are tied to the Annual Pass focus on new features and activities.
They expand the game but do not offer this “loot exchange” anymore, thus not renewing Destiny 2.
The major things of “Season of the Drifter” are clear:
Many players find this too “tightly packed” and would actually prefer a “full expansion” that overhauls all parts of the game and provides them with new content.
Guardian in Gambit Prime
The Eververse is not the problem
In general, there is dissatisfaction with Bungie’s development pace: Destiny 2 is only renewed once a year in September, and the smaller expansions seemingly cannot achieve that according to Bungie’s current plan.
The Eververse is just a symbol of this frustration and a vent where the Guardians’ anger is released. It is not the actual reason for the anger. Guardians are frustrated that it is precisely the Eververse that is being “renewed” while other things are not.
Overall, a difficult situation for Bungie: The players’ expectations do not match what the DLCs of the Annual Pass want and can deliver.
Anarchy Online by Funcom is now 18 years old and has changed significantly during this time. A “Progression Server” has now been launched, allowing a fresh start and bringing players back to the beginning of the online game. However, there is a catch.
A Classic Returns to the Beginning
What is Anarchy Online? The science-fiction MMORPG from Funcom was launched in 2001 and transports you to the world of Rubi-Ka, where the substance Notum is fought over. You create a hero, which you can enhance through augmentations, and participate in the struggle for Notum through missions and PvP battles.
What does the Progression Server of Anarchy Online offer? Rubi-Ka 2019, also called RK2019, presents the game as it was 18 years ago.
You start without addons, with a low level cap and a fresh economy.
Expansions will be added over time, as well as a gradual increase of the level cap.
All characters must be recreated; it is not possible to transfer existing heroes.
There is a limited item store, which does not include all items from the regular shop.
The existing game code is used. This means that there is no reset of systems such as damage control, fall damage, XP loss, improvement point menu (IP menu), or PvP to an older version.
How do you participate? You need to subscribe to the RK2019 server, which costs about 15 dollars per month. You can only play for free on the existing worlds.
What is special about this server? According to Funcom, RK2019 will only be open for one year – this plan may change, however. If you want to participate, you should hurry. Once RK2019 is shut down, your characters will be lost. They will not be transferred to the regular servers.
How are players reacting to RK2019?Anarchy Online is a special game for many MMORPG veterans. Not only did it represent an entry point into the genre for many, it also distinguished itself from competitors through its science-fiction setting and systems like augmentations. Accordingly, early fans are particularly enthusiastic.
However, there is also criticism. The subscription is about 15 dollars, which many feel is too high for a game that is 18 years old. Furthermore, there is confusion over the fact that the classic server is set to shut down after one year and that there is no option to transfer characters afterwards.
rainghost says on Reddit: “I was interested, but it looks like the server is only supposed to run for a year and then be shut down. After the shutdown, characters cannot be transferred to the live server and will disappear forever. That sounds really dumb to me.”
When does the new server start? The Progression Server for Anarchy Online has already started yesterday.
Since FIFA 14, the FUT birthday has been celebrated in Ultimate Team, getting bigger and with more content each year. Therefore, this year, new special cards, special packs, gift sets, and thematic SBCs are also expected in FUT 19.
Official information is still pending. However, specific predictions can be made from the insights of previous years.
Before FUT Birthday, by the way, the Carnival in FUT 19 is celebrated. You can find out what to expect in the link.
Expected Release and Duration of the Event
When does it start? FIFA Ultimate Team was first released on March 19, 2009. Since then, the FUT Birthday event has always taken place annually in mid-March. Therefore, we expect a start on March 15.
How long will the event last? The event is expected to last a week, ending on March 22.
However, these timings are not yet confirmed.
The Possible Contents of the Event
What cards will be available? It is customary for EA to release a FUT Birthday Team. This team includes 23 players whose overall rating and stats are significantly improved. These players are usually fan favorites from past FUT installments.
During last year’s FUT Birthday event, some stars received special cards in unusual positions. For instance, David Alaba was available as a central midfielder and Gareth Bale as a left-back.
Will there be SBCs? We can definitely expect SBCs. Normally, there are numerous SBCs throughout the entire event. It is likely that more FUT Birthday cards will be added and can be unlocked through SBCs.
Instead, special cards of Irish players were released alongside the FUT Birthday event. These could be used in SBCs to unlock additional FUT Birthday cards. This could very well happen again this year.
How to Get the New Cards?
How to get the cards: The special cards can be obtained from packs during the duration of the event. The FUT Birthday special cards replace their normal versions. The odds of pulling these players do not change.
Additionally, there will be the opportunity to purchase the cards through the transfer market.
And certainly, there will be promo sets distributed throughout the event. Lightning Rounds are also to be expected.
FUT Birthday in FIFA 18: Contents from Last Year
The FUT Birthday Team 2018:Last year, there was a pretty strong team for the FUT Birthday. A whole lot of superstars were represented, including: Cristiano Ronaldo RF (95), Gareth Bale LV (90), Eden Hazard RF (92), and Marco Reus MS (90).

Later, 4 additional special cards were added as SBC rewards.
Additional FUT Birthday Special Cards in FIFA 18
SBCs of FUT Birthday 2018: The following SBCs were available for FUT Birthday:
FUT Birthday Player SBC – With the St. Patrick’s Day cards, the four additional Birthday players could be unlocked.
Daily Birthday Wish SBC: A new SBC each day for each FUT, starting with FUT 09 – featuring players from that year.
End of an Era SBC – Here, Kaká (92) could be unlocked.
Additionally, promo packs and Lightning Rounds were regularly found in the shop.
In Battlefield 5, players have been waiting for the Battle Royale mode Firestorm for a long time. However, it might be released soon if a hint in the game is to be believed.
When is the Battle Royale mode coming? According to the developers, Firestorm, the Battle Royale mode in Battlefield 5, was supposed to be released in spring 2019. That would be by May at the latest. However, the new mode might come in the near future.
After an update of the daily challenges, some players received the task “Play Firestorm and earn 500 points.” An impossible challenge, as the mode is not yet available in the game.
However, many fans now suspect that the challenge predicts the arrival of the mode very soon.
Announcement or Trolling?
It could very well be that the developers are almost finished and just need to unlock the assets for the mode. Perhaps the announcement of the challenges simply slipped out and came into the game earlier than planned.
On the other hand, some do not really trust this. It could just be a glitch and there are no plans to implement Firestorm into the game so soon. One fan even mentions trolling, as he also received the task and would really like to play the mode if it were possible.
The mode is initially typical Battle Royale, where you must survive longer than your enemies and be the last one standing. To keep the battle exciting, a ring of fire continuously shrinks the battlefield and gets tighter.
Overall, 64 players will compete solo or in teams of two or four players. A special feature is that Firestorm will offer both classes and vehicles like tanks.
In Destiny 2, we take a closer look at the new roles in Gambit Prime. Which role should I play, what perks do the armor sets provide, and which playstyles are favored?
Gambit Prime is a new Gambit mode that was introduced with the Season 6 of Destiny 2 and can be played by all Annual Pass holders.
Here’s why you should choose a role: There are four armor sets for Gambit Prime. These activate special perks when you have enough set pieces equipped. The perks give you significant advantages in Gambit Prime, so you should collect these sets. Each set favors one of four “roles” – but which one suits you?
This is the Reaper: When you equip the Reaper armor, you glow green in Gambit Prime. The main task of the Reaper is to quickly and effectively kill PvE enemies.
The perks of the Reaper set:
Weakens and marks high-ranking targets and Ultra enemies (the Primeval does not count), when you deal damage to them
Multikills generate special ammo for allies
Particles you generate stay longer. They do not disappear as quickly
Grenades charge faster when you kill powerful enemies
This playstyle is allowed by the Reaper: As a Reaper, you fight on the front lines. You quickly slash away enemies and leave a trail of particles for Collectors to deal with. The perks are designed for you to be able to kill quickly and also make short work of tough enemies.
Bring weapons that you are comfortable with and that can kill quickly. A weapon for close range should definitely be included. Also equip a strong grenade that deals good damage – as the Reaper, you have grenades more frequently than other Guardian roles.
The Reaper suits you if you are only focused on killing things. You don’t want to deal with the other mechanics in Gambit Prime? Then the Reaper is your choice. You leave the particles for the Collectors, you only take care of the PvE enemies.
Collector in Gambit Prime
The Collector and its Gambit Prime Set Perks
This is the Collector: The Collector glows a bright white when you equip its armor set. He is responsible for collecting particles and sending blockers.
The perks of the Collector set:
You drop particles when you die
Particles grant an overshield when you pick them up
You receive ammo when you deposit particles
You can send huge 20-particle blockers
This playstyle is allowed by the Collector: As a Collector, you should always stay near Reapers to pick up their particles. However, this doesn’t mean you just follow them around bored.
Grab a weapon for close range (e.g., a shotgun) and help the Reapers generate particles. You can also run offensively through enemies to collect particles that might otherwise disappear. Because you get an overshield for collecting particles, you can last longer. Also, it’s not too tragic if you die. You drop some of the collected particles that your teammates can pick up.
The Collector suits you if you enjoyed picking up particles that others generated in regular Gambit. If you used to be the “particle thief,” your services are now recognized. You can also be particularly nasty to enemies when you send a huge 20-particle blocker. Only Collectors can do that.
Guardian in Gambit Prime
The Guardian and its Gambit Prime Set Perks
This is the Guardian: The Guardian’s color is yellow. His main task is to protect the bank and the team.
The perks of the Guardian set:
Multikills generate a damage buff against Taken
The bank regenerates your health
You can mark invaders for allies
You empower allies in the Well of Light (that’s the sphere you stand in to deal damage against the Primeval)
This playstyle is allowed by the Guardian: Every team will be grateful to have a Guardian. You ensure that the bank is always clear of Taken and keep an eye on invaders, so other team members can safely carry out their tasks.
When you kill several enemies, you receive a damage buff against Taken – and also against the Primeval. With the fourth perk, you take on an important support role for your team in the Primeval fight. And since you are often near the bank, your health regenerates, making it difficult to bring you down.
For weapons, a close-range weapon is definitely suitable to quickly deal with blockers. Also, bring a long-range weapon to not only mark the invaders but also take them out.
The Guardian suits you if you enjoy taking an important support role. You might not be the big “star” who slays through enemies, dumps tons of particles into the bank, or heroically eliminates other Guardians. But you can provide the crucial advantages to secure the match win.
Invader in Gambit Prime
The Invader and its Gambit Prime Set Perks
This is the Invader: The last of the four Guardian roles shines in red. The Invader’s task is to hunt enemy Guardians in their arena and steal their particles.
The perks of the Invader set:
You generate ammo during the invasion
You have an improved invasion overshield
You receive bonus damage on Guardian kills
You can siphon particles from the enemy bank and lock the bank
This playstyle is allowed by the Invader: The Invader set helps you create more chaos as an Invader. Your playstyle should be aimed at always being ready for invasions and quickly eliminating PvP enemies. Since you can’t constantly invade the enemy arena, you should also help with collecting particles. Especially during the Primeval phase, it is your job to slow down the opposing team, defeat Guardians, and heal their Primeval.
Bring weapons that also work well in PvP. You can also equip weapons that have little ammo available, as you generate ammo during the invasion.
The Invader suits you if you are strong in PvP and enjoy annoying the opposing team. Invaders can be the heroes who destroy all enemy progress and give you a significant lead.
How to unlock Gambit Prime Set Perks
How to obtain armor sets: First, you need to collect Synths. These can be efficiently obtained by taking and completing daily bounties from the Drifter. There are Synths for each of the four roles.
If you want a Reaper armor piece, you need to activate a Reaper Synth in the synthesizer to generate a Reaper particle. You will then drop the Reaper particle into the bank that is located to your left at the beginning of each reckoning round. If you win the Reckoning match, you will receive a Gambit Prime armor piece.
How to unlock the perks: Each Gambit Prime armor piece gives you points. You can see the points total in the inventory overview:
You need 3 points, 6 points, 10 points, and 15 points to unlock the four perks on the armor sets.
You can see the perks in the character overview below the display for Mobility, Resilience, and Recovery as soon as you equip an armor piece:
The armor pieces you create at the beginning provide too few points to unlock all perks. You will need higher quality armor pieces, which will likely be unlocked with Reckoning levels 2 and 3.
You can also use Synths to increase the points for the perks for 30 minutes. This allows you to create hybrid builds that temporarily have all the armor set perks active.
The online game ARK: Survival Evolved has received an update after some time. With this, you get more options for building and the “Kibble” system for taming dinos has been revised – leading to heated discussions in the community.
What does the new update bring to the game? The Homestead-update mainly focuses on making it easier for players to build.
The placement of buildings has been improved.
You use new objects like additional walls, floors, ceilings, and more to create your dream building.
Wires and pipes can be flexibly placed, allowing for new electrical configurations.
Old buildings are available in visually new variants.
What is interesting about these improvements? The developers have relied on a mod from the community for the improvements. Large parts of “Structures Plus (S+)”-sponsored mod by Orionsun are used to enhance the building system. As a result, ARK players on consoles now also have the opportunity to use these features which were previously only available to the PC faction through the mod.
What else does the update bring? Homestead also revises the Kibble system through which you tame dinos in the game. Now you no longer need different food for each of the creatures, which could previously get a bit out of hand.
Instead, the dinos are divided into six categories and an egg from each category can be used for taming dinos that belong to that category.

How is the update received by players? The new Kibble system has caused some excitement among players. There is much discussion about it on Reddit.
Many find the new system a bit opaque and some miss setting up a “production chain” that was previously needed for taming.
Tankbot85 writes on Reddit: “I hate the new Kibble system. I loved creating Kibble chains. This destroys a big part of the PvE fun.”
Additionally, there are many reports of crashes since the last update and bugs are appearing, for example with the new Kibble system. There are also problems with the “Structures Plus (S+)”-system, which is generally well received.
This apparently does not seem to be compatible with the objects from the mod. However, the developers want to look into these issues.
A balance update in Apex Legends adjusts two of the community’s most popular weapons, the Wingman and the Peacekeeper. It has already been announced how the Legends will change at the start of Season 1.
When is the balance update coming? The patch has already been applied server-side and is active in Apex Legends. You do not need to download any updates for that.
What has changed with the weapons? On Reddit , the developers of Apex Legends explain that they currently do not want to change the meta too drastically. Nevertheless, they deemed it necessary to weaken two dominant weapons. What has changed is detailed in the patch notes.
The weapons in Apex Legends have been altered
Wingman
The rate of fire has been reduced from 3.1 to 2.6 shots per second
The headshot damage multiplier of the Skull Splitter attachment has been reduced from 2.5 to 2.25 (this only applies to the combination of this attachment with the Wingman. For the Longbow, it remains 2.5).
The spread when shooting from the hip has been increased and now recovers more slowly
Peacekeeper
The rate of fire of the Peacekeeper with the bolt extension has been reduced
Level 1 now only increases the rate of fire by 7.5% instead of 10%
Level 2 now only increases the rate of fire by 13% instead of 20%
Level 3 now only increases the rate of fire by 16% instead of 23%
Why are these changes being made? The developers want to ensure that the wielder of the Peacekeeper is more vulnerable between shots.
General weapon changes:
The Wingman and the Peacekeeper are now rarer to find
Energy weapons and energy ammunition are found more frequently.
Have Legends been changed? Yes, but only regarding crashes. Bugs causing disconnects with Caustic, Pathfinder, and Gibraltar have been fixed. Major balance changes to the Legends will happen at the start of Season 1.
How often do these balance updates happen? The developers want to conduct significant balance changes less frequently. This is to ensure that players do not have to read the patch notes every week to understand a new meta. “We are making less frequent, better-tested changes that have a strong impact on balance. This minimizes the time needed to master the game.”
What does the community say? Players seem satisfied with the Wingman nerfs. “As someone who plays the Wingman as a primary weapon: Thank you. The nerf is completely reasonable.” Additionally, one other player responded, “It’s absolutely reasonable. I agree.”
These character changes are planned for Season 1
In the patch notes, the developers also provide insight into how the game will change for Season 1, even though there is still no official start date for it.
Some of these legends will change slightly for Season 1
Caustic
Gas Traps – Cooldown reduced from 30 to 25 seconds
Gas Traps – Radius and trigger radius increased by about 10%
Gas Traps – The 1-second delay before the smoke deals damage to players will be removed
Pathfinder
Passive – The number of beacons on the map has been increased from 10 to 12
Lifeline
Care Package – The small chance of containing Level 4 armor or helmets has been removed
Wraith
Into the Void – Cooldown increased from 20 to 25 seconds
Bangalore
Passive (Tactical Sprint) – Movement speed bonus reduced from 40% to 30%
Note that these changes to the legends are not yet active in the game, but will become active with Season 1.
The developers are also addressing another problem:
Following the major crash issues of recent days, Bioware has now announced when they plan to fix the error in Anthem. The upcoming patch is expected to include several fixes for it.
In a live stream, some developers discussed the current problems with Anthem. One of the biggest and most discussed bugs is related to console crashes, primarily affecting the PS4.
They revealed when players can expect a fix for the problem and also talked about the allegedly damaged PS4 consoles. We summarize the information for you.
Patch to Fix PS4 Crashes
This is what Bioware says: The stream was mainly about which bugs the upcoming patch will fix. Besides a large number of fixes for other bugs and glitches, it will also tackle the crash issues.
EA has collected data for this and apparently identified several causes that will be resolved in the update. This is also confirmed by Bioware employee Chad Robertson on Twitter.
We have identified several causes for the “temp power-down” crashes reported by PS4 players. Fixes for the major problems are in the patch coming next week. If you experience a crash where the PS4 becomes unresponsive, you can manually turn it off and restart it – no risk of damage.
Robertson
When is the update expected to be released? Next week, on March 12, the update is scheduled to be released. It focuses primarily on technical issues, with no new content included.
No PS4 Was Destroyed
Consoles reportedly remained unharmed: Bioware has also emphasized that no console has been definitively destroyed due to the crashes. Robinson also stressed this on Twitter: “After some investigations, we have not found a single case where Anthem has destroyed a console.”
However, if someone has experienced something different, they should contact the technical support of EAHelp so that the issue can be investigated.
What was the problem, anyway? In recent days, several players have complained about errors that caused console crashes.
While only a few cases were reported on Xbox One, PS4 users were significantly more affected.
Over 1500 players contacted EA Support reporting such an issue. In such a crash, not only did the game close, but the entire console simply shut down as if the power was cut.
In Pokémon GO, Rayquaza is finally returning for a special raid weekend. We provide all the information about the event and reveal whether there is a Shiny Rayquaza.
How Rayquaza returns: Many old raid bosses in Pokémon GO are getting their own event and returning once again. This was last seen with Latias.
Now Rayquaza is getting its own raid weekend later this March.
The event starts: The event begins on March 15 at 10 PM German time. For us, that means Rayquaza will be available only from March 16, as no raids occur at such late hours.
You will have until Monday, March 18, at 10 PM to battle the raid boss.
What we know about the Rayquaza event
This is why Rayquaza is celebrated: Players have been waiting for months for a return of Rayquaza, and now the wish of many players is finally coming true.
What Niantic says about Shiny Rayquaza: We find no information about the Shiny on the German and English pages of Niantic. However, the Japanese page provides clarification:
“In this event, Rayquaza will not be available in a different color,” it says on the Japanese Twitter account.
What is behind this raid weekend? Some Pokémon have already received such a weekend. These include Lugia and Ho-Oh, but also Latias, where a weekend turned into a whole week. Whether this will also be the case for Rayquaza remains to be seen.
Shiny Latias was last introduced with such an event.
Currently, the battle event is taking place in Pokémon GO. Machollo is the star of it:
The release ofThe Division 2 on March 15, 2019 is near. Therefore, we summarize the biggest differences to its predecessor The Division 1 for you.
What is new in The Division 2? The Division 2 will do some things differently than The Division 1. In every aspect of the game, there are innovations and adjustments.
This article was published on December 26, 2018, and was updated on March 7, 2019.
The Division 2 vs. The Division 1
What are the biggest differences between The Division 1 and 2? Here’s an overview:
A new setting with Washington D.C.
Armor bars and armor kits for players
Control points, civilians & Division vs. hostile factions
Brand sets and new gear sets for build diversity
Specializations with their own skill trees in the endgame
The Division 2 will have 8-player raids
DLC expansions will be free
3 Dark Zones instead of one
PvP will be available from the start
In the endgame, the game will be upended by a new faction
[toc]
The new setting of The Division 2
This is how it was in The Division 1: In The Division 1, the story began around the virus in New York. The green poison broke out on a Black Friday in November. Therefore, the story of the first part takes place in snowy Manhattan.
While New York’s Manhattan consists almost entirely of large building blocks, which are still quite close to each other, Washington is significantly more expansive and has more nature to offer, as Central Park in The Division 1 was not accessible.
This is new in The Division 2: In The Division 2, the story takes place in the fallen capital of the USA, Washington D.C. Thus, the eternal winter comes to an end. The story takes place 7 months after the first part, so it is now summer.
Washington D.C. has a milder climate and is relatively smaller compared to other major cities in the USA, with less than 700,000 inhabitants. D.C. is built on a former swamp and has a warmer climate. All these factors were taken into account by the developers; Washington’s open world is supposed to become a kind of main character of the game.
How does this affect gameplay? Due to the more expansive areas and the changed geography, there will be significant changes in gameplay. It is more horizontally oriented, as there are not tall buildings everywhere. Moreover, there are more obstacles in the environment such as trees, denser vegetation, and damage to roads and buildings.
This offers additional tactical options for you, but also for your enemies. Where narrow alleys previously influenced the course of action, flank attacks can now be launched. Enemies will try more often to encircle players.
Visually, a lot will change as well. In summer, agents no longer need winter clothing. This will allow for many different outfits.
This is how it was in The Division 1: Players only have a health bar. However, they can pull out a medkit at any time, which works immediately and restores a substantial amount of health points. There’s also the first aid skill, which can also restore health points immediately.
This is new in The Division 2: You have armor in addition to your health display. As long as it is not destroyed, it protects you from incoming damage. With an empty bar, your armor is destroyed. You have to restore it with parts, similar to a medkit.
Here you see the new armor bar
However, this takes a short time and has its own animation. During this time, you are vulnerable to attacks.
How does this affect gameplay? Due to the necessary repairs, players who have taken a lot of damage must first seek safe cover. Prior to this, it is hardly possible to repair the armor.
The days are over when one could simply rush at enemies and quickly pull out a medkit when needed to replenish health points within a second. Especially in PvP, this could change the dynamics. Until now, fights where players openly charged at each other without seeking cover were the norm.
Now you cannot just rely on fast healing but must seek cover to avoid dying.
Factions and civilians play a bigger role
This is how it was in The Division 1: Although there were several factions, including the Cleaners, Rikers, looters, and the Last Man Battalion, their role was mainly limited to the campaign; their influence on the game is rather gameplay-related. They are simply different enemy types that you fight in missions.
This is new in The Division 2: The enemy factions are constantly in conflict with civilians in Washington, D.C. The True Sons are one of these brutal factions that have already been introduced.
As agents, players are meant to actively intervene in these conflicts. There are several control points in the game world that are constantly contested. You can either capture them for the civilians or defend them against attacks.
How does this affect gameplay? Developer Massive describes this system as a kind of meta-game that runs continuously in the background. Sometimes civilians control these points, sometimes hostile factions.
As agents, players can actively influence this and assist civilians in the conquest of these control points. This should be possible at all times and function independently of other activities.
This feature could make the game world feel more alive than it was in the predecessor. The people truly live in the city and struggle for their survival.
Brand and Gear Sets – it’s all about loot
The many changes to equipment allow for even more possibilities in building in The Division 2. Specializations and brand sets give you better opportunities to optimize your playstyle. Thus, you have more freedom than in The Division 1.
This is how it was in The Division 1: Loot in the first part was rather classic. There was equipment with various rarity levels. The system remains intact in its fundamentals.
While there were gear sets that allowed some cool builds thanks to their bonuses, players mostly used the same sets and build options, and variety was rare.
This is new in The Division 2: The basic principle has not changed. You can still find equipment with different rarity levels and continuously improve yourself.
However, the new brand sets come into play now. Almost every piece of equipment has a brand or marker. This brand partially determines which bonuses the piece of equipment provides.
A specific brand can, for example, increase the damage for assault rifles, while another increases it for precision rifles.
So you can build targeted builds that match your playstyle, but also combine different brands. For each brand, a maximum of 3 bonuses can be activated. Since there are 6 equipment slots, you can utilize, for example, 2 brands fully.
The gear sets have also been revised. While in the predecessor you could combine 2-6 pieces to unlock 1-5 set bonuses, in The Division 2 you must equip 6 pieces to unlock the special ability of the new gear sets.
How does this affect gameplay? Combinations of multiple gear sets are no longer possible; you must choose one and find 6 pieces of it first. Gear sets can also have brands, which allows for even more optimization.
At first glance, this seems to limit the possibilities. However, with brand sets, you can already actively influence what bonuses you want to enhance, regardless of the gear set. A direct comparison of the systems can only be made once the game is released and all gear sets are known.
But not only equipment determines your playstyle. In The Division 2, there are the new specializations. They expand your repertoire of weapons and skills.
This is new in The Division 2: In the endgame of The Division 2, there are 3 specializations, each with a so-called unique weapon. They replace the super attacks that existed in the first part. Each of the weapons brings a different element and is suitable for different situations.
You unlock specializations when you reach level 30. Three have been introduced to us so far:
Survival Specialist (Crossbow)
Destruction Expert (Grenade Launcher)
Sharpshooter (Caliber .50 Precision Rifle)
Each of these specializations represents its own progression tree that can be further expanded. This allows you to unlock specific skill variants.
You can switch between the specializations at will and upgrade all to the maximum.
How does this affect gameplay? By combining specializations, brand and gear sets, one can only imagine how vast the selection of options for optimizing your character is.
While specializations determine your character’s basic playstyle, you can use gear and brand sets to additionally optimize your builds and adapt them to your preferred weapons and skills.
In the future, even more specializations are planned. However, there is no information about that yet. Fans speculate about a minigun as a unique weapon that could be part of a new specialization.
There will be real raid activities for 8 players
This is how it was in The Division 1: Raids were already a major wish of fans in The Division 1. With incursions, there was a slimmed-down raid version. However, these were merely larger missions with minimal different mechanics compared to regular campaign missions.
Thus, the desire for real raids among fans still exists. In The Division 2, this wish is fulfilled.
This is new in The Division 2:After the release of The Division 2, an 8-player raid named “Operation: Dark Hours” will come. Here’s what is known so far:
The setting of the raid will likely be the Washington Ronald Reagan International Airport, a huge airport.
How does this affect gameplay? Large-scale raids for 8 players could become interesting. Previously, only in The Division 1 were there such large groups of players in PvP mode Last Stand.
According to the developers, the raids will differ significantly from everything played previously in The Division. Exploration will likely be a central factor, and progression should be one of the main tasks.
Through raids, hardcore players can be motivated with cool rewards. Such a challenge was missed by many fans of the predecessor.
DLCs will be free
This is how it was in The Division 1: DLCs in the first part were paid. There were a total of three:
Underground
Survival
Last Stand
All DLCs introduced different PvE and PvP modes to the game. However, they could consequently only be played by DLC owners. Therefore, The Division 2 has different plans.
The DLCs of the predecessor had some fans, but are considered a flop by developer Massive. A total of three major expansions are supposed to come in the first year.
What’s coming in the first year of The Division 2? In a trailer, the contents of the first year were presented:
Tidal Basin – A fortress of the Black Tusk, the endgame faction of The Division 2
Operation Dark Hours – the first raid of The Division 2
The 3 DLC episodes of year 1
Episode 1 “Outskirts of D.C.” (Summer 2019)
Episode 2 “Pentagon – The Last Castle” (Fall 2019)
Episode 3 (Winter 2019)
Each episode brings a new specialization including a unique weapon.
You can also watch all Year 1 content in the official trailer:

This does not mean that players cannot spend real money. Like in the predecessor, there will again be a premium shop where you can buy cosmetic items. Additionally, there will be a season pass.
What’s included: Anyone who buys this pass with the corresponding edition gets early access to upcoming DLCs. Besides, there are contents that are mainly cosmetic in nature. However, the season pass also has something for story fans.
How does this affect gameplay? It is certain that every player has access to these DLCs. Thus, you do not have to worry about not finding players for DLC activities.
This is an increasing problem in The Division 1, as the player count continues to decrease as the game ages. It is hardly possible to play a round of Survival since no session forms.
Story continuations as well as map expansions have already been announced for the DLCs. Thus, it is likely that there will be no content drought.
Washington D.C. has 3 new Dark Zones
This is how it was in The Division 1: In New York City, there is a single, large, contiguous Dark Zone. It stretches from the center of Manhattan to Central Park.
In a total of 9 zones, up to 24 players can loot in PvE or hunt other players. The principle remains the same in The Division 2, but there are some changes.
This is new in The Division 2: In Washington D.C., there are a total of 3 Dark Zones located in the west, south, and east. Each of these Dark Zones differs in size and design.
How does this affect gameplay? At the moment, it’s hard to say. During the private and open beta, a visit to the eastern Dark Zone was possible.
Compared to The Division 1, the areas are significantly more open, with fewer building canyons and narrow alleys. Just that has already strong impacts.
The changes of the new Dark Zones:
12 instead of 24 players per server: This is due to the size of the individual zones. Individually, they are smaller than the Dark Zone in The Division 1
New rogue status: There is now another rogue status where players do not have to act aggressively against others. This status has a countdown that can be increased by hacking terminals or cracking loot crates. If you reach the limit, a secret safe house for rogues becomes accessible.
Equipment is normalized: To enable a fair PvP experience, equipment in the Dark Zones is adjusted. Your gear is still important; only the individual values are raised to the maximum for everyone.
The biggest innovations are showcased in our special:
This is how it was in The Division 1: Pure PvP outside the Dark Zone was only introduced in The Division 1 much later with the Last Stand DLC, which was released almost a year after launch.
Later, Skirmish followed, a team deathmatch mode where 4 could compete against 4.
The maps vary in size and are locations that can be found in the open game world.
This is new in The Division 2: With Conflict, The Division 2 will have 2 PvP modes available at the start:
Skirmish: A classic team deathmatch, 4 vs. 4
Domination: In Domination, the goal is to capture and hold 3 points. Here too, 4 will compete against 4.
As in the Dark Zone, equipment is normalized so that players are on the same level, and their skills are more important than a strong build.
Unlike the first part, the maps of the PvP modes are specially designed for this purpose and are not just fragments of the actual open world.
This is how it was in The Division 1: Once you finished the story in The Division 1, that was it with story content. While you could still find audio logs and other collectibles that delivered a story snippet.
However, the actual story was not continued, not even with the DLCs.
This is new in The Division 2: In addition to the announced story episodes, which will only come after the release, The Division 2 also already has story elements in the endgame.
This faction awaits you after the story
Once you finish the story, the new faction Black Tusk appears. This group is highly trained and possesses advanced combat technology.
After the campaign, they appear in Washington D.C. and significantly disrupt the power struggle between factions and civilians.
They will take control points in the open world,
actively fight against you and other factions
and also appear in special invaded missions within the story missions.
The story does not conclude with the end of the main campaign because Black Tusk also ushers in a new chapter in the story. Thus, the story in the endgame is not over.
A player tested weapons in Anthem and stumbled upon something curious: The most damage is not done by a Masterwork weapon, but by a simple level-1 weapon.
Which weapon is the best?In the Anthem subreddit, user YeetLordSupreme presented his results from a weapon test. He played around with various weapons to find out their respective weapon damage.
All weapons were tested on the same opponents with the same components. To his surprise, a Masterwork weapon did more damage but couldn’t defeat the enemy faster than a regular level-1 weapon.
Ralners Firestorm, one of the best weapons for Ranger.
What were the test results? YeetLordSupreme shot with the Masterwork Ranger weapon Ralners Firestorm at level 45 on a simple Skar unit and recorded a damage of 1184 for this weapon. He then shot with the level-1 weapon Defender at a simple Skar unit and logged 286 damage for it.
One would expect that the weapon dealing more damage would also bring the enemy down faster. However, according to the test results of the Reddit user, this is curiously not the case.
While Ralners Storm needed six bullets to take down the Skar, the level-1 Defender only needed four bullets.

What does BioWare say? In the post where the user expresses shock that damage numbers seem completely meaningless, some developers from BioWare quickly chimed in.
The Technical Design Director Brenon Holmes stated that this is likely a scaling issue. The system is supposed to allow players of different levels to play together.
The Lead Producer Ben Irving confirmed that this is a bug that will be fixed in the next update on March 12.
What BioWare has to say about the upcoming patch can be read here:
In the battle event of Pokémon GO, you can now find Machops more frequently. We explain why not only Shiny Machop is interesting.
That’s why Machop is the star: On one hand, thanks to the battle event, Shiny Machop can be caught, so it’s worth clicking on the battle Pokémon. On the other hand, its evolution Machoke is among the best Pokémon in the game.
It is definitely worthwhile to catch this Pokémon. We explain why Machoke is so good and what you can use this monster for.
That’s why not only Shiny Machop is interesting
This is how good Machoke is: This Pokémon is the best fighting Pokémon in the game. If you especially like to battle in gyms, you should definitely rely on Machoke.
A top attacker: Machoke
While it does not have the highest attack value among fighting Pokémon, it still has two strong moves and can endure quite a bit of damage.
This is what the stats say:
Attack value: 234
Defense value: 159
HP value: 207
Max CP: 3056
Here’s why you should use it: The fighting type is particularly effective against the normal type. This includes the top defenders Snorlax, Chansey, and Blissey. So, Machoke is a great choice in gym battles.
This is what the spawns say: In the current battle event, Machop spawns at nearly every corner. You should therefore have it relatively easy to gather enough candies for evolving and leveling up.
Not only the Machop family exists as Shiny, but also Menki.
Here’s another bonus: If you diligently catch Machops, you might also come across a shiny Machop. This shiny form has been in the game since the start of the event and sweetens the catching.
Which Machops are good? So you don’t have to evaluate them every time, we are including two CP lists for you below. You can directly copy these into your search bar in the game.
The Machops that are shown to you are those with potential 100% or 98%. This is not guaranteed, as Machops with higher levels can have the same CP. You will need to evaluate them again afterward.
Potentially 100% or 98% with attack of 15 066&WP18,WP56,WP95,WP133,WP172,WP211,WP249,WP288,WP326,WP365,WP401,WP438,WP474,WP511,WP548,WP584,WP621,WP657,WP694,WP730,WP767,WP803,WP840,WP876,WP913,WP949,WP986,WP1022,WP1059,WP1096,WP1114,WP1132,WP1150,WP1169,WP1187,WP17,WP56,WP94,WP133,WP171,WP209,WP248,WP286,WP325,WP363,WP399,WP436,WP472,WP508,WP545,WP581,WP617,WP654,WP690,WP726,WP763,WP799,WP835,WP872,WP908,WP944,WP981,WP1017,WP1053,WP1090,WP1108,WP1126,WP1144,WP1163,WP1184
How long does the event last? Until March 12 at 9 PM, you still have the chance to catch the increased Machops in the wild. But even after that, you will still find Machop in the wild.
That’s why the right setup is important: The formation of your team fundamentally determines the direction in which you play. For example, if you opt for a three-man defense in a 3-5-2 in favor of a strong offensive midfield, the direction is clear: You want to score goals.
Conversely, a defensive five-man defense indicates: You let the opponent come and rely on counterattacks through your full-backs and wingers. Which strategy best suits your style of play can only be known by you. But with all the options, it is difficult to find the best variant.

Guide to the best setups in FIFA 19
The pro opinion: With the new season, there are also new tactical tricks. We asked Marcel “DonChap28” Deutscher which formations he prefers to play with in this early phase. Marcel from L4K eSports is among the top 30 players in the world.
Here are his tips:
4-3-3 Offensive – the all-rounder
What does this setup offer? The forward-oriented 4-3-3 system is currently Marcel Deutscher’s favorite: “It offers a wide offensive game, and the playmaker joins the attack well.”
At the same time, this formation provides good support defensively: “Both midfielders stay defensively with the right instructions.”
Who is this formation for? This setup benefits all players who rely on a solid defense to attack securely from the front.
4-2-2-2 – The double strike
What does this setup offer? Unlike the 4-3-3, you can field two real forwards here. In addition, you have “two playmakers who come more from the flanks.” Defensively, you are also well-protected since you have two midfielders directly in front of the defense.
Who is this formation for? However, you should consider that in this setup you miss out on real wingers or midfielders on the flanks: The playmakers often orient themselves towards the center. Therefore, fast wing runs can be a bit more complicated for players who prefer counterattacks.
4-2-3-1 – The Christmas tree for ball possession
What does this setup offer? Although it’s not Christmas yet, if you’re looking for a compact formation, the “Christmas tree” could be your means of choice: “This is a very compact setup. It allows for a calm build-up play and a lot of ball possession:”
Who is this for? This formation is especially for players who focus on a dominant play style and not too much on fast counterattacks. With a total of five central midfielders, you have a clear advantage in the center. You can perfectly exploit this with playmaking midfielders and defensively aware midfielders.
This setup was also extremely popular last year: 26% of the Weekend League top 50 players used it.
Edit and create individual tactics
No adjustments necessary: By the way, Marcel Deutscher only uses individual tactics very limited with all three formations: Most settings remain at “Standard.” Only direct player instructions are modified: “For strikers, I configure them to run past the defense.”
You can find this setting option in the tactic settings under the tab “Instructions”:
In contrast, former German champion Mirza Jahic recommended several tactic settings on MeinMMO that you can read here:
The three-man defense was weak: It made you too vulnerable on the flanks.
The five-man defense was good – but difficult: This setup required players on the right and left back who were strong both defensively and offensively. Especially for beginners, this formation was difficult.
Compactness is important: Wide 4-3-3 formations were rather unpopular, as the center had to always be well covered. Possession football was the motto.
The most used formation was probably the narrow diamond in the 4-1-2-1-2 (2). About 30% of the top 50 Weekend League players used it. There are already some considerations on YouTube regarding this topic:

In Fortnite there is currently a dangerous zone for all players. Anyone who enters it will be killed immediately. Epic has already announced a fix.
Here lies the death zone: Near Fatal Fields, since the update of Season 8, you will find two large craters that represent a fork and a knife. Anyone who tries to jump into the knife will be killed immediately.
Why players die here is not known. Fortnite has already issued a warning to players via Twitter, calling it a bug.
See the error in the video
This is Epic’s post: On Twitter , Epic acknowledges the issue and states that they are aware of the bug and are already working on a fix.

This is why there is the knife and the fork: In Fortnite, there have been several small gags on this topic. Many English-speaking players also refer to Fortnite as “Fork Knife”, which translates to “Gabel Messer”.
Epic has often reacted to this joke and has even added a “Fork Knife” truck into the game.
This truck has already been associated with this topic
Now there is also this huge cutlery near Fatal Fields. However, the bug causing instant death shouldn’t be the case.
This is what players say about it: Players do not see the bug as a big deal, but rather celebrate it. For instance, “Srcheeto” wrote in response to Epic’s tweet: “Don’t fix the bug. It’s a knife, it must be dangerous!” Over 1000 users have already agreed with him.
When will this be fixed? The fix for this bug may already be online while you read this. However, it might take Epic a bit longer. It depends on how serious the actual bug is.
This is what you should keep in mind: If you are in your round near Fatal Fields, you should avoid the cutlery. You can go near it, but as soon as you jump into the knife, you will be eliminated. This would indeed be frustrating in a good round.
Fortnite now also has a treasure map. Here’s how it works:
Black Desert Online offers you a new feature that allows you to jump straight into the endgame. Read here everything about how you can start faster.
How do I jump directly into the endgame? If you want to try a new class in Black Desert at the endgame, you first need to level it up to Level 60. That can take quite a while. Trial characters are supposed to change that.
What are Trial characters? Now, there is a function that allows you to create so-called Trial Heroes. They start at Level 60 and are thus ready for the endgame. Or at least for some of the endgame features.
Instant Hero for PvP
What can Trial characters do? You can create up to threeTrial characters. If you already have all three, you will need to delete one to create a new hero. The characters can be chosen from all 17 classes of the PC version and start immediately at Level 60.
Additionally, they have:
3 x Expansion Coupon: Inventory +16
Simple main and secondary weapon (awakening weapons are available separately)
Body enhancement (battlefield)
The talent book “Awakening Secret”
4,000 talent points to distribute freely
100,000 silver
You can then buy additional equipment from Haz in the arena. The equipment costs only 1 silver each. However, your Trial characters can only access the Combat Arena, the Red Battlefield, Arshas Arena, and the Cruel Rift. Additionally, you do not receive any rewards from the Cruel Rift. There are no bonuses when you duel with other heroes.
Trial characters are meant to find out how different hero types feel at Level 60. You also have the opportunity to improve your PvP talents with the Trial heroes. So you can experiment to your heart’s content and find out what suits you best.
What can Trial characters not do? Trial characters do not affect your family fame and, among other things, cannot receive attendance rewards, cannot use the mailbox, and cannot receive challenges, post investments, and guild bonuses.
Here you can find weapons and equipment.
As already mentioned, they are here to test and experiment, not as a replacement for your regular characters.
How are the Trial characters received by the fans? In the Black Desert forum, some players are favorably inclined towards the feature. After all, they have been asking for this feature for a long time, and the consensus is: “better late than never.”
In Korea, such test heroes have been possible for a longer time, and it is good that it is now happening here as well.
However, not everyone is thrilled about it. Some players criticize that the equipment in the shop is quite weak and that you have no chance against tough endgame heroes.
