A smaller streamer on Twitch has taken down the probably best player in the world, Dizzy, in the shooter Apex Legends . How he cursed and escalated is remarkable or concerning.
This is the situation: The streamer ComedyRussel has about 3600 followers on Twitch. So he is a relatively small fish in a big pond.
Dizzy is a really big deal in the game – and is therefore also a “high-profile target.” Smaller streamers like ComedyRussel can make a name for themselves by taking down Dizzy.
Then they get publicity and attention, they think.

This is the scene: Player ComedyRussel insults and yells excitedly as he unexpectedly encounters Dizzy in a match of Apex Legends. You can tell how his pulse races.
First he squeals, then he yells: “I can’t lose to Dizzy – we don’t lose to this trash.” In an initial firefight, ComedyRussel seems to have the upper hand and hits Dizzy.
Now he chases the fleeing Dizzy, repeatedly yelling “Bitch, are you scared? Are you scared, bitch?”.
When ComedyRussel eventually takes down Dizzy, he is ecstatic.

This is how it was for Dizzy: From Dizzy’s perspective, the “epic moment” from ComedyRussel becomes just a normal action in the game.
Dizzy apparently had to deal with multiple enemies at once. His death was not a big deal for him. Top players die in the game, after all.
This is what’s behind it: The interesting thing here is that Twitch operates like the Wild West. Up-and-coming gunslingers hunt “celebrities” to make a name for themselves.
Many well-known Western heroes were shot by complete strangers, just because they wanted to become famous.
Well, the comparison is a bit off. Wild Bill Hickok was really dead, Dizzy just logs back in.
The incident involving Dizzy reminds me of a boy who hunted the star player Ninja during his New Year’s tournament in Fortnite. For the boy, it was the biggest moment of his gamer life, while for Ninja it was just a normal action.
In Anthem there is a merchant who is considered crazy by others. However, our author Leya fully understands the NPC’s passion.
The merchant Sayrna has a weakness for baby animals that scratch, bite, hiss, or even shoot electricity. The animals have a magical attraction for her. Sayrna just wants to pet all the babies and even risks her own health (and that of her companions) to do so.
I have formed a special bond with Sayrna in Anthem.
Attention: The article contains story spoilers for some NPCs. Spoilers for the main story of Anthem are not included.
The Tesilar has made Sayrna weak – and me as well
Sayrna actually sells materials for crafting items in Anthem at the Regulator shop. However, she keeps forgetting to promote her goods because she loves to tell her animal stories.
The first story that truly made me weak for Sayrna is about a Tesilar.
What are Tesilar animals? Anyone who comes too close to a Tesilar should be prepared to receive an electric shock. And “too close” certainly means the immediate vicinity.
Most animals are smart enough to avoid the Tesilar. Most animals, perhaps, but not Sayrna.
Sayrna’s Tesilar story: With a slightly silly but excited voice, Sayrna tells me that she urgently wanted to pet a Tesilar baby. So she hired a few freelancers to catch one.
When she opened the cage, the Tesilar baby was dead. The baby looked so cute and sad that Sayrna just had to hug it goodbye. Yes, Sayrna cuddles with dead baby animals too.
Fortunately, the little Tesilar was just sleeping. When the baby woke up, it immediately zapped Sayrna with a big electric shock that knocked the merchant down completely. But hey, that’s no problem! Sayrna only feels a tickle sometimes and she can slowly see better again.
That was the moment when I thought: I like you, Sayrna.
Sayrna has another Korox story that ends with her cousin Dalton peeing blood today.
The other residents find Sayrna strange
When I spend time near Sayrna, I often hear other residents of Fort Tarsis whispering about her. Other NPCs simply find the young merchant strange. They may not use the word “freak,” but it comes across that way.
This is probably also because Sayrna wants to keep many of the baby animals as pets. All the creatures she chooses are super dangerous.
However, Sayrna believes that one just has to find the right moment to release the baby animals back into freedom. But you and I, Sayrna, we both know that this moment will somehow never come.
The janitor is already upset about the danger of loose cables in Fort Tarsis. What would he say about Sayrna’s pet plans?
Why I have full understanding for Sayrna: To understand my enthusiasm for the quirky Sayrna, I need to briefly take you back to my childhood.
I share the same fascination for exotic animals that Sayrna has. I have also petted an electric eel that could have given me a nasty shock.
Even little Leya could, just like Sayrna, spend hours petting animals.
I believe Fort Tarsis has a friend for everyone
In Anthem, I am constantly fascinated by the NPCs. I hope that BioWare still has many stories in store for them that they can tell me.
The residents all have their quirks. I believe that every player can really find their special friend in Anthem, with whom they think: “I especially like you.”
I saw a discussion about Brin on Reddit regarding the idea that the woman may be autistic. She has difficulty finding her place in society and among people. Here, players describe how they sympathize with Brin because they themselves have social interaction problems.
Brin has difficulty understanding the emotions of other people. She is said to have autistic traits.
All the NPCs have such strong and different personalities that probably everyone can find something in them that they see a piece of in themselves.
Have you found a friend in Fort Tarsis? Is there an NPC in Anthem that you particularly like or perhaps even can’t stand? Feel free to let us know in the comments.
You must know that my parents used to have a pet store. When they eventually realized that they couldn’t treat animals like merchandise, they closed the store. Half the zoo was now brought into our home.
I grew up surrounded by exotic birds, scaly lizards, fluffy chinchillas, aquariums filled with colorful shrimp, and so on and so forth. This list would become long if I filled it out completely now.
I share the same fascination for exotic animals that Sayrna has. I have also petted an electric eel that could have given me a nasty shock.
Even little Leya could, just like Sayrna, spend hours petting animals.

In Apex Legends cheaters are becoming more frequent and brazen. Now there are speed hackers who zip around in live streams. A video of this has now reached tens of thousands of players. But perhaps the hacker problem will soon come to an end.
What did the hacker do? The streamer Trainwreckstv was stunned in a live stream of Apex Legends when suddenly an opponent zipped past him at breakneck speed and disappeared around a corner. Hitting the zipping player was impossible. Trainwreckstv’s shot completely missed.

“What the hell am I playing here? Sonic The Hedgehog?” the streamer said frustratedly about the situation.
The video of the speed hacker spread rapidly across the internet. Tens of thousands have seen it so far.
Hackers plague Apex Legends
What is the current situation? Apex Legends has around 50 million players and among them are now plenty of cheaters. They use wallhacks to see through walls, and aimbots to aim for headshots. Now, super fast speed hackers are joining in too.
This is why the hacker plague could soon be over: But the developers of Apex Legends seem to be on the trail of the cheaters. On March 8, 2019, Respawn Entertainment already reported over 350,000 hackers banned.
In addition, they are working on a reporting system and a better anti-cheat system. They have to proceed carefully and skillfully to catch the hackers as effectively as possible.
Do anti-cheat plans have a chance of success? The fight against hackers and cheaters is an eternal war for developers, as cheaters continually acquire new tools to cheat effectively. However, with enough effort and commitment, Respawn could get the problem under control.
According to top streamer Ninja, Fortnite has achieved just that. After 1 to 2 months, they managed to tame the hackers to the point where they largely disappeared and didn’t return.
The supermarket chain ALDI plans a campaign in the UK to bring playing children back to eating with their parents. The plan is quite cunning and seems to target children who play Fortnite.
This is ALDI’s idea: The supermarket chain ALDI calls on parents in the UK to register on a website.
Then a team of professional gamers would join their children’s game and eliminate the kids, meaning defeat them in the game.
The children would then log out and eat together with their parents and siblings at the family table.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p45KPeALA9E
In addition, parents should find out their child’s gamertag and send it to ALDI. ALDI has already prepared a guide on how parents can find out the tag.
The campaign runs under the title “TeatimeTakedown.” Its goal is to ensure family meals together.
This is how the kids should rage when caught by the professionals.
This campaign is planned to run in March. The action itself is scheduled for March 22 to 24 and March 29 to 31.
ALDI happily points out that March 31 is Mother’s Day.
What is behind this? The idea is certainly aimed at Fortnite. In that game, children can’t “pause” because a thrilling round is going on. Therefore, they can’t come to dinner on time.
Esports journalist Rod Breslau says he planned to eliminate children and then tell them he was sleeping with their mothers, but then he would have been caught and teabagged by Shroud, s1mple, and scump – so now he’s better off going to eat himself.
Fortnite pro Sypher PK says he would make children rage anyway. That’s what he does for a living.
In The Division 1, you can complete Shields that unlock rewards for the first part and also for The Division 2. We explain how it all works and how you can get your rewards.
These are the Shields: They are specific challenges that present you with various tasks. There are a total of 12 that you can unlock in The Division 1.
A small tip: Through the Ubisoft Club, you can unlock additional rewards. Just check the reward list.
Here’s how you unlock the Shield rewards: To get the Shield rewards, you only need to complete enough Shields in The Division 1. This is recorded in the Ubisoft Club, and the corresponding rewards are unlocked.
There are a total of 12 Shields and 4 reward tiers. With each tier, you unlock another reward. Here are the rewards:
Tier 1: Weapon Skin “Freedom”
Tier 2: Agent Outfit and NYC Patch
Tier 3: Armor Skin and “Psst” Gesture
Tier 4: Flag Backpack Trophy and “Strike” Gesture
To unlock any of these tiers, you must complete a total of 4 Shields. Your progress should then be recognized in the Ubisoft Club.
How do I get the Shield rewards in The Division 2? Once you have redeemed the rewards through the Ubisoft Club, they should be available in-game in your inventory.
In one of his streams, Dr DisRespect contacted his agent with his flip phone in The Division 2. He promised him a Lamborghini, but only under one condition.
What did the streamer do? On the platform TwitchTV, streamer Dr DisRespect is a big deal. Fans celebrate him for his high entertainment value. He often animates smaller scenes where he interacts directly with the game he is currently playing. This was also the case in one of his recent streams of The Division 2.
Under this condition, the agent is to receive a car as a gift: Then follows a bit of small talk about how well his agent would fare in the combat zone. The streamer makes a special offer: “If you complete the next mission entirely with headshots, I’ll throw a Lamborghini your way.”
But this is not just any Lamborghini, it is the new Lamborghini Aventador 2019. Twitch supposedly said so. And the car would then have a large Twitch logo on the side.
That the Doc is fond of this car brand has been proven:
This is what happened during the second call: Shortly after the first call, the streamer’s flip phone rings again. His game character is back on the other end of the line. He seems to have problems with the pressure of the current mission.

In recent days, the mood in the Anthem community has noticeably shifted. The Community Manager addressed the players’ concerns and assured that the team is committed to improving Anthem.
Why is Anthem in crisis? The latest patch for Anthem has upset players. It fixed a bug that temporarily increased loot drops. Players even called for a boycott of the game by not logging into Anthem this week.
In the Anthem subreddit, a user summarized all this criticism and the players’ concerns in a long post, to which the Community Manager promptly responded.
Players are currently concerned about Anthem and want answers from BioWare.
What does the Community Manager say? Anthem’s Community Manager Jesse Anderson thanked players for their openness. At the same time, he apologized for not being able to address every detail, as it is either not his expertise or he simply does not have the relevant information.
Anderson stated that the mood in the community was much better recently, which encouraged the developers to engage more with players. “When some people say, ‘be nice, or the developers will stop posting,’ that is 100% true. Be respectful and constructive with your feedback, then probably more team members will respond.”
The team may sometimes address trivial issues instead of tackling huge problems. This is because not everyone has the information or the team is still discussing how to resolve those issues.
The team is also not satisfied with the loot at the moment. Changes to it are a top priority.
The Community Managers are open to any feedback and will pass it on to the developers. The team is aware of the players’ concerns.
The developers are working hard to improve the game, according to the Community Manager.
Developers are on it: Finally, Anderson assured that BioWare is working hard to continually improve the game. Anthem is “here to stay.”
The developers are well aware that there is still a lot of work ahead to fix parts of the game. However, they also feel obligated to make improvements and release new content.
BioWare has already addressed why it is so difficult to fix the loot:
Outlaws of the Old West marks the launch of a new MMO in Early Access, which could be described as an ARK with a Western scenario. But how is the game received?
Whether you become a farmer or roam the lands as a bandit is up to you.
It is possible to build a settlement together with others and protect it from bandits.
By gathering resources and crafting items, you participate in the player-driven economy.
There is a very large game world to explore.
Early Access Launch with Familiar Issues
How did the launch go? The release took place on March 12. As it is an Early Access version, problems were expected, and they did occur.
The performance suffers: there are frequent stutters.
The balancing needs to be optimized, especially regarding weapon damage.
There are still several bugs. For example, the controls can suddenly stop responding, or items can simply disappear from the inventory.
Farming and animal breeding do not work yet.
However, the developers are working on patches and have already released two updates that mainly address bugs.
Players Recognize the Potential
How is the MMO received by players? The ratings on Steam are currently balanced at 60 percent. It is criticized that Outlaws of the Old West is still in a very unfinished state, even for an Early Access game.
Yet, if you look beyond the technical issues, a very interesting sandbox game in the style of ARK and Atlas emerges, which can stand out due to the Western scenario and has quite a bit of potential.
Athayus Quan writes on Steam: “I played for several hours and also own Atlas, Conan Exiles, and some other survival games. And I say, this game is fantastic!”
86PPP states: “It is buggy but it is still in Early Access. There is still a lot to do but I already like it.”
dLP|.SlarX agrees: “The game has enormous potential but of course requires a lot of work. However, it is already a hell of a lot of fun!”
According to Steamcharts, there are about 1,600 players online at the same time on average. The launch has not gone as well as with Atlas, which is probably due to the fact that the developers made little advertising for Outlaws of the Wild West.
This is how you play with us: If you want to venture into the Wild West and experience an MMO in the style of ARK or Atlas, then it is possible to join Early Access via Steam. The version regularly costs 16.79 Euros and is currently reduced to 12.59 Euros.
Why did a power outage in Venezuela trigger a crisis in the MMO? It is known within the Runescape community that for many Venezuelans, farming gold in the MMORPG is more lucrative than regular employment. The gold in the game essentially has a higher value than the national currency.
Therefore, many Venezuelans farm gold in Runescape because it allows them to provide a better life for themselves and their families.
As these players were unable to play due to the power outage, it affected the in-game economy.
How does gold farming work in Runescape? Players farm items such as Dragon Bones and sell them for gold to other players. The accumulated gold is then sold for real money to Runescape players.
An Ingame Crisis Due to a Power Outage
How did the effects manifest? Suddenly, there were hardly any Dragon Bones being sold. These items can be farmed in-game and then offered for a lot of gold. When the supply of Dragon Bones suddenly dwindled, it was clear that this was related to the power outage in Venezuela.
But the value of Nature Runes and volcanic ash, as well as some other items, was also influenced by the power outage.
What are Dragon Bones? Dragon Bones are loot from adult dragons. The bones are used to train the character. Depending on whether one buries them, incinerates them, or offers them at an altar, the character gains different amounts of Prayer experience.
Prayer is a combat skill that provides buffs to the hero. Dragon Bones offer a very good option for training the hero.
How do the players react? Reactions range from surprise to amusement.
Some players are surprised by how much influence gold farmers have on the economy of a game. Others make jokes about the situation.
Murdock07 writes on Reddit: “It’s incredible how much support Jagex has provided for Venezuela compared to the USA.”
In Destiny 2, the Thorn makes a strong comeback. It can impress in both PvP and PvE. We show how powerful the poison syringe is now.
Why is the Thorn surprisingly strong? In Destiny 1, the Thorn was primarily known as an overpowered PvP weapon that sprayed enemies with poison and ruthlessly killed them.
In Destiny 2, it has recently returned – and the Thorn has managed to reclaim the weapon slots of many Guardians. It is particularly surprising in PvE, as the Thorn proves to be extremely useful in many situations.
The reason for this is a perk that allows players to clear entire Lost Sectors without having to reload even once. So, if you dislike reloading weapons, you should definitely acquire the Thorn. Let’s take a closer look.
This is the new Thorn: The Thorn is an exotic hand cannon with a rate of fire of 150. For comparison: Luna’s Howl, Trust, or Nerf have a rate of fire of 180, while the Pikass has 140. The Midnight Coup also has 150 and belongs to the “Lightframe” archetype.
The perks of the Thorn: The Thorn has a new trick in Destiny 2:
Mark of the Damned – exotic perk: Projectiles penetrate targets and deal damage over time. Kills with the weapon leave remnants.
Soulsucker: Absorbing a remnant enhances “Mark of the Damned” and partially reloads the magazine.
The remnants are these green spheres that can only be picked up for a short time before disappearing:
This is how strong the Thorn is in PvE: Videos have already shown Guardians running through Lost Sectors without needing to reload once. The Soulsucker perk lasts for 6 seconds (up to 10 seconds if multiple are picked up).
During this time, the weapon deals increased damage. According to tests, the damage over time then causes 200% more damage.
Since you’ll need only 1-2 shots against most minor enemies and each remnant increases the magazine by about +4, you can aggressively march forward, pick up the remnants, and keep firing continuously.
A post on reddit is currently receiving a lot of support, where the user emphasizes how great the Thorn is in PvE. It was expected to be designed for PvP, but the grind for the Thorn is also worth it for PvE players.
With the Thorn, you can carve your way through enemy masses like butter, and it’s great how the remnants flow out. With the remnant buff, even big enemies can be eliminated quickly.
How does the Thorn perform in PvP?
The weapon expert known in the community, Mercules904, has already commented on the Thorn and rated its stats.
This is how the Thorn performs in PvP:
The Thorn has a very fast time-to-kill from body shots (only 4 shots), very good handling, above-average range and stability, and high aim assist
Reload speed is only average
The Thorn has no drawbacks compared to other hand cannons of this archetype
Optimal time-to-kill is 0.8 seconds, requiring 2 crits and one body shot
With other hand cannons of this archetype, you need 3 crits to kill in PvP, which gives the Thorn clear advantages here.
If you only hit the body, the time-to-kill for other hand cannons of this archetype is 1.6 seconds. For the Thorn, it’s 1.2 seconds – then you can retreat, and the poison from the Thorn takes care of the rest.
Mercules904 suspects that the Thorn will find its place in PvP. It won’t be the OP monster from Destiny 1, and it can’t quite compete with a Luna’s Howl or a Not Forgotten – based on raw TTK potential – but it forgives more mistakes.
According to Youtuber Aztecross Gaming, the flinch and recoil behavior of the weapon can pose a challenge, especially for console players. He recommends not firing the weapon as quickly as possible but instead going into cover after a shot and taking the next shot carefully.
https://youtu.be/4_EHPc_CgWE
If you pick up a remnant in PvP, the weapon becomes stronger for 6 seconds, allowing kills with 2 crits – provided the opponent has a low resilience of 6 or less.
However, keep in mind that the opponent does not immediately fall dead with both 2-crits kills or optimal time-to-kill. The poison must finish the job. However, you can go to cover after the required shots.
Have you already acquired the Thorn? How do you like it?

Tuque Games announced that they are developing a new game based on the tabletop role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons. Is this perhaps an MMORPG?
What exactly was announced? The developer’s official website mentions a new game for D&D, which is based on the classic lore and aims to take the genre to new heights. The team is currently looking for a “Narrative Designer”, and the job description provides some insights into the project.
Will the MMORPG Dungeons & Dragons Online be replaced soon?
The focus is on quests
What is known about the game? From the job description, we know:
A dialogue system with branching questions and answers is to be developed.
There will be quests and cutscenes.
Lore plays a significant role, and NPCs are expected to be deeply developed.
Why could it become an MMORPG? Quests and dialogues point to a role-playing game. However, Tuque Games is not known as a developer of pure single-player titles. With Livelock, the studio released a co-op shooter in 2016.
The team therefore has experience with online games. This leads to the assumption that another online game is currently in development.
Whether it will be an MMORPG or perhaps a co-op RPG remains to be seen. In any case, the focus apparently lies on story and quests.
Neverwinter may soon face competition.
A D&D online game would make sense
That’s why a new D&D MMORPG would be interesting:Dungeons & Dragons Online has been around for 13 years, and you can really tell that the game is showing its age. Furthermore, the tabletop template has evolved and reached its 5th edition. Players are requesting computer games for this edition. The D&D MMO Neverwinter is still based on the 4th edition, which has been heavily modified.
Therefore, it would only make sense if the D&D license holder Wizards of the Coast were interested in a new computer game that also utilizes the new rules.
Online games are still very popular. With games-as-a-service titles, a lot of money can be made. Therefore, a D&D online game would make quite a bit of sense.
What exactly Tuque Games will deliver is still to be seen. However, an online game, specifically an MMORPG, is certainly conceivable.
In Pokémon GO, the Deoxys form changes again. Soon the Defense Form will be available in raids. This was confirmed by Niantic in an official announcement.
Which form is new? Currently, there is the Attack Form of Deoxys in raids. This will now be replaced by the Defense Form. Only the Speed Form will be left for all forms to be in the game.
When will the new form be available? From March 25, this form will be in raids. This means that your upcoming EX-raids will still feature the Attack Form and only be replaced with new invitations that will be sent out.
What we know about the Defense Form of Deoxys
What makes the form special: As the name suggests, this form focuses primarily on its defense value. It has, after Pottrott, the highest defense value of all Pokémon.
Is this form finally useful? If you catch Deoxys, it doesn’t offer much. You cannot place Deoxys in gyms, and this form is too weak for attacking. It will mainly serve for the PokéDex.
The other forms are not particularly good for battling either. While the Attack Form can deal a lot of damage, it gets defeated just as quickly. Additionally, all Deoxys forms have poor attacks.
But it’s good for: In the PvP mode, this form could perform exceptionally well. It can withstand a lot, which is crucial.
This is what an EX-Raid invitation looks like.
This is how you get Deoxys: This mysterious Pokémon cannot be obtained in regular raids. You need to be invited to EX-raids.
To receive such an invitation, you must complete a raid at the corresponding EX-Raid gym beforehand. If enough other players have also raided, an EX-Raid will be triggered.
During the legendary lunch break, many raids can also be completed. How did you like it?
Bless Unleashed is the Xbox version of the MMORPG Bless. The special thing is that it is being developed by a different studio. This is evident even in the latest trailer for the Berserker class.
What makes Bless Unleashed different? Even at Pax West in the summer of 2018, the differences were clearly highlighted. Although Bless Unleashed shares a world and graphic assets with Bless Online, the games are supposed to differ in many other aspects.
The lore is to be told from a different perspective and to be significantly more focused. Additionally, the developers referred to Bless Unleashed as a parallel world.
Trailer for the Berserker Class
What does the trailer show? The trailer shows us the Berserker class. It features a melee fighter wielding a large two-handed axe and heavily armored.
With phrases like “Once the weapon is drawn, there is no turning back,” it quickly becomes clear that the Berserker fights opponents in a frenzy.
The video showcases various axe attacks, including a spinning motion that seems to hit multiple enemies at once.

How does the trailer differ from Bless Online? The class trailer for Bless Unleashed looks significantly more professional than the PC version.
In Bless Unleashed, the Berserker fights against large and impressive opponents. Bless Online, on the other hand, chose normal opponents for its trailers that one would likely encounter early in the game.
Bandai Namco also foregoes the UI and highlights the class animations. At the same time, the graphics generally look higher quality.
When will Bless Unleashed be released? The release of Bless Unleashed is still announced for 2019. However, it seems that it will be towards the end of the year.
Even now, you can sign up for the beta on the official website. Bandai Namco is also at Pax East with the MMORPG, so more information about the game could be available at the end of March.
Even though a different studio is behind Bless Unleashed, Bless Online influences the atmosphere:
In Fortnite there is now a major change for all players on the Nintendo Switch. They are now playing against mobile users and no longer against console players. They will probably have it significantly easier.
So it was before: For about 5 months, since Sony eased its stance on crossplay, Switch players have been complaining that they had to play together and against console players from PS4 and Xbox.
Switch players said: Switch lobbies are always crossplay lobbies, into which players from PS4 and Xbox One are also thrown. (via reddit)
This is new: Since the latest patch 8.10, this is changing.
Switch players now share the lobby with mobile players. They are now competing in random matches against players who play Fortnite on a smartphone or tablet.
Therefore, a lot is changing: Until now, the Switch community felt disadvantaged because of the strong competition and because they felt at a disadvantage compared to players on PS4 and Xbox One.
Now they should have it easier against the mobile users. However, these are now in an uproar.
Fortnite on the Switch is getting a major change.
That’s why there is the change
This is what Epic says: The developers explained the step as follows: “We expect an overall better gameplay experience per game for mobile and Switch players.” They are hoping for improvement through the change.
That’s why the change is coming: Many players on the Nintendo Switch felt disadvantaged. Players on the PS4 and Xbox have completely different possibilities for playing:
Players on PS4 and Xbox One had more experience – Fortnite only came late to the Switch
PS4 and Xbox One offer better performance
And the controllers of the Switch are probably not optimal for shooters, as many players find
What are the mobile players saying now? The community of mobile users is now divided. For example, a Reddit user says: “Go ahead and give us mobile players all the kids with their Switch. It just makes it easier for us!”
Other players now feel disadvantaged because on the Switch the player likely has significant advantages over mobile users. Just the screen is already bigger and you have proper buttons to operate.
Can you still play together with other consoles? If your friends have a PS4 and you have a Switch, then that’s not a problem at all. Matchmaking only applies to public lobbies. You can still invite your friends to play, no matter what platform they are on.
Have you already picked up your highlight video from Season 7?
The first legendary lunch break in Pokémon GO has passed. Many players found the approach good, but above all, one problem annoyed the trainers.
This is the legendary lunch break: This event was first held on March 13. Legendary raids appeared in many places, and players could participate in as many Dialga raids as possible for one hour.
This is how the legendary lunch break was received: The community had mixed feelings about the new event. Many found the approach good, but especially players in smaller towns were upset.
We show you the opinions and problems regarding the legendary lunch break.
This problem occurred during the event
This is how it was announced: Niantic announced for the legendary lunch break that there would be more raids. In some statements, the developers said that all gyms would host legendary raids at that time. However, they also mentioned that they might change this later.
Dialga was not found in all gyms.
This problem arose: Apparently, Niantic kept their word and unleashed legendary eggs on all gyms everywhere. However, there was a problem: Gyms that already had an egg or an active raid did not get a legendary raid at the start at 12 PM. The current raid simply continued there.
This is why it was annoying: Many players had already planned a route before the event started. They intended to meet at a specific gym at the start, but it was occupied by another raid.
Especially smaller towns suffered from this. Some villages could complete significantly fewer legendary raids because they had hardly any alternate options due to the blocked gyms. Small towns, especially in rural areas, often struggle with having few gyms or stops.
There was a balance: If the blocked gyms were cleared before 1 PM, a legendary egg appeared there as well. So, you could not only raid significantly until 1 PM but even beyond that.
There were numerous raids at the gyms during the lunch break.
How was the participation? The feedback from players on social networks felt less than during a community day, which suggests that there were fewer participants at this event. Although it should have coincided with players’ lunch breaks, many trainers had to work. They were already disappointed by the event.
Were there any positive voices? However, there was not only negativity to report about the event. Many players liked the concept of the event.
As one player writes on Reddit: “All in all, a huge success for our raid community!”
Another player summarizes the problem well: “I think it is a great success for players in big cities with many players and gyms. For players like me in smaller towns, it is almost impossible to find enough players during such a time.”
This is how Niantic can improve: The event was initially just a test, and Niantic will carefully consider the players’ criticism. Many players wish that the smaller raids, which blocked the gyms, will be removed for the next event.
Additionally, different times for numerous players would be nice. A “legendary evening” is also desired.
Have you already completed these 11 field research tasks?
BioWare has now addressed an absurd bug in Anthem . Apparently, players can become stronger since the latest patch when they drop low-level support items. This is set to be fixed.
If players drop their support items, it significantly increases damage from four different damage sources:
melee damage
combo damage
damage from weapon procs (i.e., certain triggerable abilities)
and ultimate damage
Exactly these damage sources were addressed in the Anthem patch and should now scale better so that players can deal more damage at Grandmaster levels.
What is the reason for this? These damage types apparently scale directly with the average item level that one has on the Javelin.
If one doesn’t wear any item in an item slot, that slot simply doesn’t count.
For the “support items,” there apparently are no masterwork and legendary items for the slot, so the item level here is low.
The support items are significantly lower in item level compared to those of the other item slots. Therefore, if one skips this slot, the average level of all items worn increases, and thus also the damage from certain sources.
On the top right, you can see the average item level that the Javelin carries – the support item “Windwall” is noticeably lower than the rest.
This is what BioWare says: BioWare has now responded in the thread and stated that the team is aware of this issue and is currently working on a bug fix as quickly as possible.
There, a bug after a scaling caused the special item “Heart of Azeroth” to lead to problems. Opponents became stronger when players carried the item, as they adjusted their hit points to the item level of the player.
So, if players had “good gear” in the wrong positions, they made it harder for themselves in WoW instead of easier.
In Fortnite: Battle Royale features the new vehicle “Kugler”. With it, unexpectedly silly moves and actions are possible. Ninja and his friends have already demonstrated this.
One special feature of the Kugler is that it has a kind of grappling hook with a toilet vacuum. This allows it to attach itself anywhere. It can be pulled by players or dragged like a pesky wrecking ball behind a Quad.
The ball was one of the highlights of the patch.
But what top streamer Ninja and his friends did with the Kugler is even a bit more absurd!
Canon plus Kugler equals flying wrecking crew!
This is what the crew pulled off with Ninja: How crazy the Kugler can really be, you can see in a video that Ninja recorded along with Dr. Lupo, TimTheTatman, and ItsFearItself. Three of the crew got a Kugler.
The fourth guy serves as an anchor, and all Kuglers attach themselves to him via grappling hooks. What follows is wonderfully absurd and invites imitation: Because the player with the attached Kuglers jumps into a cannon and shoots himself through the air.

The Kuglers are pulled behind and sail as giant bolas across the sky. Upon impact in a residential area, they also devastate the surroundings.
This is why the Kugler is well received: Among Fortnite fans, the Kugler receives praise and joy as the first vehicle in a long time. Because unlike the controversial plane, the hamster ball seems to be a fun object.
It’s fun, but not OP. You can mess around with it, but it doesn’t fundamentally change the game. This is well received, and players hope that Epic will keep the Kugler in the game for a long time.
What do you think of the Kugler so far and what crazy stunts have you pulled off with the new Fortnite vehicle?
Apex Legends celebrates a huge success. This is likely due to the streamers who have made the game so popular. Now there is new information about the money paid to the biggest streamers on Twitch for this: Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is said to have received 1 million US dollars.
This is what the money was for: The biggest streamer in the world, Tyler “Ninja” Blevins, was reportedly paid by EA for playing Apex Legends, according to new information from the news agency Reuters (via trust.org):
Ninja emphasized during the streams that it was a sponsored stream.
What was previously unknown is the amount of his payment. According to the source from Reuters, Ninja earned 1 million $ for his hours in streaming and some tweets. This corresponds to about twice what Ninja earns per month from Fortnite: Battle Royale, according to Reuters.
Ninja immediately tweeted about Apex Legends at the launch on February 5 and played it on his stream for thousands of viewers.
Is this confirmed? Neither Ninja nor EA wanted to confirm the amount Ninja received as payment directly.
Ninja showed his skills in Apex Legends.
Why the promo? According to EA’s Lead Producer for Apex Legends, Drew McCoy, this advertising campaign was meant to ensure that gaming enthusiasts should see Apex Legends everywhere for a day:
We wanted to create a day where you couldn’t escape Apex if you were interested in games, and we wanted it to feel like an event happening worldwide.
The EA representative said this in an interview on a different occasion to Reuters.
However, fans are eagerly awaiting the Battle Pass and new content, so much so that they have reacted quite strongly when the Battle Pass did not appear on the suspected date of March 12.
He has become known as “Pokémon Grandpa” and now he takes it a step further: Chen San-yuan impressively shows how to play Pokémon GO with over 20 phones at the same time.
Who is the Pokémon Grandpa? The retiree from Taiwan caught attention back in August. There, he played with “only” 11 phones at the same time. Many players were already impressed by the grandpa, as at 70 years old, he showed great mobility and was very tech-savvy.
This is new: The retiree has expanded his phone collection again. He now plays with a total of 23 phones. For this, he even built a holder on his bicycle, making it look like a huge catching machine.
This is how the retiree plays Pokémon GO now
The grandpa has a problem: Now that he has over 20 phones, he has to fight multiple times in raids. The maximum group size there is 20. So he has to enter with some phones later to be able to raid everywhere.
How do his raids go? A video shows how the retiree goes on a raid tour. He enters a raid with 20 accounts and then taps on as many screens as possible. Some phones are not attended to, and the Pokémon are defeated one by one. But that doesn’t matter, as he takes down the raid boss in record time.

Once he is done with the first round, he pulls out two more phones and enters with the remaining accounts. The game repeats itself there.
This is what other players say: In social media, the Pokémon Grandpa is celebrated. As seen in the video, even passersby are impressed by his phone collection.
If he continues to add more phones, his bicycle will soon not be enough. We are curious to see what the retiree will come up with then.
This Pokémon GO player is not so popular, as he assaulted a police officer while playing:
An effective way of farming gear in Anthem are Strongholds. Micha is now regularly losing his mind while doing so.
Strongholds are a popular method of farming gear in Anthem. They offer a slightly tougher difficulty level, yet can still be completed quickly. Perfect for a little loot hunting in between.
The only thing that dampens my enjoyment is the NPCs’ dialogues. They keep repeating over and over again.
Faye is a wonderful character, but I would like to be able to hide her in the Mine of Tyranny.
What is the problem? My favorite farming spot is currently the Stronghold “Mine of Tyranny”. This is already known from the betas and most players know it inside and out.
This doesn’t put a damper on my fun, as depending on the difficulty level, the Stronghold is still challenging enough to provide a challenge, but short enough to manage several runs in a row.
If you can manage them: My ears bleed after several runs because the NPC dialogues drive me crazy.
It’s not the massive Tyranny, but the dialogues that are the final boss in the Stronghold.
NPCs never shut up: Apparently, BioWare has only recorded one dialogue per Stronghold, because every time you enter the dungeons, the NPCs repeat the same lines.
In the Mine, I have to hear every time what bastards the Scars are, because they bring eggs filled with acid to the relics. My premonitions also have substance, and my freelancer patted himself on the back later.
After the final boss falls, I’m shouted at that he is even scary at his death and that the Corvus agent Sev must drink at least eight beers to forget the Mine boss – one for each leg of the Tyranny.
What was somewhat amusing the first ten times becomes torture in every subsequent Stronghold.
What can be done? Here, I have to bring up the competition in the form of Destiny because while those games also didn’t have the best dialogues, at least they varied. The introductions before each strike, while in transit, have now reached cult status among Destiny 1 fans.
In Destiny 2, you are also bombarded with dialogues from various characters in the dungeons. Due to the variety, they don’t stand out as negatively, in my opinion.
In the Anthem subreddit, some players advocate for being able to turn off the dialogues or at least reduce the frequency of the announcements. Some players, however, do not want to miss the directions.
For me, BioWare could completely disable the conversations in the Strongholds after the first run. Then I’ve heard the story of the Stronghold and can focus entirely on the gameplay.
Shooting the bad guys really speaks for itself.
What about you? Are you fans of the Stronghold dialogues, or do they also drive you crazy?
Players seem to also have problems with circles in Anthem:
