The story of the Horde in World of Warcraft continues. We will reveal what happens to Baine in the next major patch.
The fate of Baine Bloodhoof interests many players of World of Warcraft. The last update was that Baine was captured by Sylvanas after he handed over Derek Proudmoore to the Alliance. Baine was taken away and shackled. In patch 8.2, his story continues. We will reveal how the war campaign develops.
Spoiler Alert: Anyone who does not want to know how the story involving Baine and the Horde will continue should not read further. You have been warned.
This is how the questline begins for the Horde: Lor’themar Theron, the leader of the Blood Elves, receives a vision from a Tauren Shaman. He learns that Baine will not see the next day and is to be executed. Lor’themar then states that he wants to take action and “activate contacts”.
This is how the questline begins for the Alliance: King Anduin visits Jaina and asks her to rescue Baine from the clutches of the Banshee Queen Sylvanas. Since Baine previously handed Derek over to Jaina, she agrees to help with this task. That Anduin wants to initiate a rescue mission makes sense because Baine and Anduin were good friends for a long time and even kept in touch through letters until Sylvanas found out.
Infiltration of Orgrimmar: While Alliance players infiltrate alongside Jaina and Matthias Shaw (the Spy Master of Stormwind), Horde players sneak through the city with Saurfang and an old acquaintance – Thrall (with new model). The goal is the halls beneath Orgrimmar, which were previously used by Garrosh.
The Alliance also destroys some experimental Azerite weapons, while in the Horde version it is explained that these halls were reopened by Vol’jin to provide protection against the demon attacks that occurred during “Legion” all over the world.
A decision for Horde players: Excitingly, Horde players must once again make a decision during this questline. They can report to Nathanos that Thrall and Saurfang are trying to rescue Baine.
The game explicitly points out that “one will remember” if the rescue attempt is not announced to Nathanos beforehand, thereby showing loyalty to Sylvanas. What long-term effects this will have is still unknown.
Even this time, you can tell Nathanos the truth – if you want.
A trap with Baine as bait: Just before the place where Baine is held, the two parties meet. There is a short dialogue before everyone goes to Baine together. However, Baine is not pleased, but worried. He tells the group that this is all a trap and the Banshee Queen already knows that they wanted to rescue him.
Ambush by the Sunstriders: At that moment, many Blood Elves appear and reveal themselves as Sunstriders seeking revenge. Jaina had previously driven all Blood Elves out of Dalaran and executed many of them after some Sunstriders betrayed her and the Alliance. Magister Hathorel is one of these Blood Elves who managed to escape and now seeks revenge.
After the battle, the escape is successful and both sides return to their homelands. There, the parties declare that they will temporarily cooperate with the other side to strike back against Azshara. Jaina still wants “justice” for Teldrassil. Furthermore, it is hoped that with a bit more time, “the resistance in the Horde against Sylvanas will gain strength”. Apparently, they want to wait it out for now and hope that the protest within the Horde will grow stronger.
Small differences depending on the faction: What is also interesting about the questline is that the dialogues play out slightly differently depending on the faction. From the perspective of Alliance players, the attacking Blood Elves are significantly more aggressive and attack with loud shouts of “Kill them all! For the Sunstriders!”
From the Horde’s perspective, however, the characters of the Alliance exhibit significantly more aggression. There, it is Jaina who shouts “Kill them!” while maintaining a barrier.
Such storytelling with different nuances depending on the faction has already occurred in the Battle of Dazar’alor:
In Fortnite , professional players usually accuse the developer Epic of responding too slowly to bugs and issues. When Epic fixed an exploit in a short time, professional player Dennis “Cloak” Lepore lost his temper.
What kind of exploit was it? Players discovered a trick to adjust their “Field of View”. By tinkering with Fortnite’s game files, they could change the settings.
This allowed them to essentially play Fortnite in the “Stretch” resolution, where models appear slightly wider and are therefore easier to hit.
The exploit was fixed quickly: Before the resolution exploit could spread widely, Epic had already reacted.
A player inquired on Discord whether the “FOV Slider Trick” was allowed. If so, many would surely use it in the World Championship qualification starting Saturday, April 20.
As announced in the Fortnite Discord, Epic fixed the problem in no time.
In the Fortnite Discord, a player asks whether one will be banned for this trick. But shortly thereafter, the exploit was already fixed. Source: Reddit
This is why the professional is so upset: Professional Dennis “Cloak” Lepore takes the quick fix as an opportunity to criticize Epic. According to him, it only took 30 minutes for the bug to be fixed.
This little thing gets fixed in no time
In contrast to serious bugs that are in the game – and which take months to be eliminated.
Cloak is among the players who have heavily criticized Epic in recent weeks, for instance, for setting the resolution to Native or the dominance of the baller in Fortnite.
Players feel patronized by Epic. Currently, the atmosphere between Fortnite and its e-sports athletes seems increasingly tense, often leading to frictions and conflicts – especially where so much money is at stake during the World Championship.
Fallout 76 offers a bunch of funny Easter eggs, fitting the crazy humor of the Fallout series. The best Easter eggs, from the perspective of our author Benedict, are listed here for you.
What are Easter eggs? Easter eggs are sometimes more, sometimes less well-hidden references to other media such as film, television, other games, or general pop culture.
Easter eggs often give games more depth and bring smiles to fans – especially when they are cleverly incorporated.
Fallout 76 also offers plenty of these Easter eggs. Four stand out in particular.
[toc]
The Pied Piper of Hamelin
What is this Easter egg? As a random event, an eye bot can spawn in various locations of Appalachia. Several RAD rats follow it.
The eye bot goes, or rather floats, its way through Appalachia. The rats follow it obediently in line.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=INhyKbcw-M8
What does this Easter egg refer to? The reference is quite easy to recognize but still not obvious. The eye bot is the Fallout version of the Pied Piper of Hamelin, one of the most famous German legends.
In the legend, a piper frees the town of Hamelin from a rat plague by hypnotizing the rats with his pipe and luring them to drown in the Weser river. When he is refused payment, he returns and curses the town’s children, who he abducts and are never seen again.
The Mad Hatter
What is this Easter egg? North of Anchor Farm and west of Tyler County Fairgrounds, there is a covered table in the middle of nowhere. Several colorful chairs and balloons surround the table.
On the plates and table, there are several teapots and cakes. Additionally, numerous hats, plush toys, and board games are spread around.
What does this Easter egg refer to? The table is a reference to Alice in Wonderland, specifically to the character of the Mad Hatter from the tale.
Alice meets the Hatter in the children’s book while he is having a tea party. (in the chapter: “A Mad Tea Party”) There, the Hatter sits with a hare and other guests at a similarly set table and invites Alice to join.
The Overlook Hotel
What is this Easter egg? Southwest of the forest and northeast of Ash Heap, in the villa district of Summersville, is the Torrance house. On one of the balconies of the house, you will find a tricycle and toy dice showing the word “Redrum”.
In front of the house, there is a hedge maze where you find a skeleton with a fire axe, which has met its end leaning against a hedge.
What does this Easter egg refer to? The killer referenced in this Easter egg is probably known only to older gamers. The basis for the reference is the 1980 horror film classic “The Shining”, based on the book by Stephen King.
In “The Shining”, author and former teacher Jack Torrance spends some time with his family. However, he increasingly loses his mind and chases his wife and son with an axe until he eventually freezes to death in a hedge maze. The word “Redrum” is repeated by his son several times, it means “murder” when read backwards.
Back to the Future
What is this Easter egg? You might have already come across this Easter egg if you have obtained the Nuka-Cola skin for your power armor. In the Cranberry Bog, you will find the “Pylon V-13” directly next to the Bog Town workshop.
The pylon serves as a support for a monorail. This no longer works but points to a strange construct, a ring that is electrically charged with several coils and heavily irradiated. The records of a scientist explain that it is a time travel device.
What does this Easter egg refer to? The pylon makes allusions to two media. The first, more obvious one is the cult film “Back to the Future”. Similar to Doc Brown and Marty McFly in the film, the scientist also wants to travel through time by achieving certain speeds and through a vehicle.
The second reference is to an earlier iteration of Fallout 76. Under the name “Project V-13” lies an idea that was once supposed to be an online title of Fallout and was later called Fallout Online. However, the project was abandoned after disputes.
The Final Pam
What is this Easter egg? Our last top Easter egg in Fallout 76 is located in the west of Ash Heap and belongs to the most bizarre places in Appalachia. It is a small blue house in the woods.
Inside the house, you will find a slaughtered Mr. Handy, a creepy children’s room, and a special dead resident. On the toilet sits a RAD roach with a melon, cane, and wedding ring.
What does this Easter egg refer to? The reference is likely known only to Fallout fans, especially few in the German-speaking world. It refers to “The Final Pam”, a character created by the US site Polygon in a Let’s Play.
“The Final Pam” is a quite ugly and crazy lady with whom the two moderators in their series “Monster Factory” cause as much nonsense as possible in Fallout 4. “The Final Pam” quickly became a phenomenon and a meme in Fallout 4 that Bethesda has immortalized in Fallout 76.

The system architect Mark Cerny has now revealed first official information about Sony’s next-gen console in an interview. Here is what is known so far about the new PS5 hardware.
Directly from Sony’s US headquarters in Foster City (California), the first official details about Sony’s next console generation are finally here.
The system architect Mark Cerny, who was also responsible for the technical design of the PS4, broke the silence in an interview with Wired.
What is known so far about the PS5
In the interview, Cerny discussed the hardware, the release, and a feature of the upcoming Sony console.
Here is the current state of the new Sony console: The console that Sony has been working on for the last 4 years is already in the hands of game developers – in the form of so-called development kits.
However, it is unclear whether the final product will actually be called PlayStation 5 (PS5). Although the name seems likely, Cerny consistently referred to the new hardware as the “next-gen console” during the interview.
The hardware of the PlayStation 5: The new hardware is not just a simple upgrade. The upcoming Sony console features a CPU based on the third generation of AMD Ryzen – with 8 cores and a 7nm Zen-2 architecture.
At the same time, Cerny teased a new 3D audio technology as part of the new chipset and hinted at a “dramatically different” spatial sound experience.
The GPU of the PS5 is a custom design based on AMD’s Radeon Navi and will support ray tracing. Resolutions up to 8K are supported.
Additionally, the next-gen PlayStation will feature an SSD instead of an HDD. The bandwidth of the installed SSD is said to be greater than anything currently available on PCs. This is expected to reduce loading times.
A physical drive will also be included in the PS5.
Backward compatibility: In addition to first details about the hardware, Cerny spoke about a feature that should excite many fans. The PS5 will be backward compatible with PS4 games and will also support PlayStation VR. However, Cerny did not reveal anything about Sony’s plans for next-gen VR to Wired.
When will the new console arrive? Cerny did not provide a release date for Sony’s next console generation. However, he made it clear that the new hardware cannot be expected in 2019.
He did hint that some upcoming titles may be released on both the current and the upcoming console. For example, there was a vague allusion to Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding.
What do you think of the details? Does Sony’s new console currently meet your expectations for next-gen?
Sometimes online games can be really annoying. Then you need some peace and a game to chill. To unwind, our author Patrick hops into his truck in Euro Truck Simulator 2. And this has many advantages for him.
Why multiplayer sometimes annoys me: I actually love multiplayer. It started back then at LAN parties when you discovered the first multiplayer modes.
But in online games it can sometimes be really irritating. In team games, you have to cooperate and communicate. Less harmonious are the toxic players who use online games as an outlet for their problems. Some players are just annoying.
Sometimes I just want to play freely. Without teammates in the team who all give their best and expect that from me too. Without flamers who usually don’t flame, but when it comes to their mothers, they really unleash. Without lags, updates with huge download sizes, and server crashes that frustratingly prolong a short gaming session.
And that’s exactly why I have Euro Truck Simulator 2.
Why Euro Truck Simulator 2 is my perfect chill game
That’s why ETS 2 invites you to chill again and again: On Steam, I am now approaching 500 hours of playtime in Euro Truck Simulator 2. And there are good reasons for that:
I can play as long or as short as I want
In the meantime, I can easily listen to podcasts without missing any story in the game (because there isn’t any)
Streams on the second monitor can be watched with one eye without making significant mistakes in ETS 2
Once you understand the controls, you can also drive brainafk – it clears your head
Game progress and regular updates keep things interesting
If you can’t sleep at night, you can just drive a truck for half an hour and become tired
What is Euro Truck Simulator 2? As the name suggests, this is a simulator with trucks. It’s about driving trucks and organizing a company. Similar to how you can kick in football manager games or organize your club.
First, you create a driver and a company, then off you go. The job primarily consists of transporting cargo around the world.
My driver profile – This is my digital trucker self
On the map, you can find real places like Hannover, Hamburg, or Munich. You drive with well-known truck brands: Mercedes, MAN, Scania, or Volvo.
The relaxation factor: If you take on large contracts that lead far from the north of Norway to the south of Germany, that is “just” almost 1600 kilometers. You already know that, depending on your driving style, you will sit on that job for at least half an hour.
Driving around for half an hour at 80 to 90 km/h, watching the traffic, listening to the radio, being stuck in traffic, controlling the cruise control, using the engine brake, following the GPS. All alone in the truck.
If you are not a traffic hothead and don’t tend to yell at AI drivers, you will inevitably find peace.
Drier from Oslo to Stuttgart? Count me in!
No time commitments: A major disadvantage of many multiplayer games is the commitment you enter into.
If you’re waiting at home for a buddy and “want to quickly play a round in the 30 minutes he takes”, that can quickly escalate with many multiplayer titles.
I remember some LoL matches in which I spent easily an hour, although I just wanted to play something quickly for 20 minutes. If someone disconnects and leaves in the middle, they’re a leaver and get punished. Great. Then you tell your buddy, “Sorry, I have to finish this. Sit down first. It can take 5 or 30 minutes.” That’s annoying too.
Short distance – When you need to be quick
In Euro Truck Simulator 2, I take on jobs that fit my schedule. If I only have 10 minutes, I drive a small delivery from one place to the next. And if I run out of time, I pull over, save the job, and continue it next time. It’s that simple. Without anyone being disappointed or me being “a leaver”.
When you quit the game, the digital customers are happy to wait for the next login.
I play at my own pace: When I play Diablo 3 with my friends, one wants to play quickly and power through everything, while others prefer to break every single vase and search for loot there. Finding a common ground is not easy.
In ETS 2, I play as I like. Maybe I don’t want to respect the speed limit and want to barrel downhill fully loaded at 150 km/h through the Netherlands. No teammate will then say, “Please pull over at the next rest area; I will be there in 10 minutes.” – and that is liberating.
Quickly through the toll station and onward to Taranto, Italy.
This is how ETS 2 provides variety: To ensure that truckers don’t get bored, ETS 2 is regularly updated with new content. This includes:
New trucks
New trailers
Heavy transports
Map expansions
Challenges to unlock cosmetics
Moreover, you don’t just drive trucks there. If you want to do some planning, you buy new garages and upgrade them. Then you go to the employment agency to choose new drivers for your company. You then buy them a tractor unit so that they are roadworthy.
Once you have hired the first drivers, they drive for the company and generate passive income.
The guys drive for my company – Daily we make over €700,000 profit
Conclusion: In Euro Truck Simulator 2 I can relax my mind and play a bit. A good program if you want to play something while listening to podcasts or simply seek a single-player game where not everything is weighed against teammates or opponents. I feel comfortable there.
In Apex Legends, there is the black hero Lifeline. To resemble her, a Lithuanian cosplayer darkened her face. This is called “Blackface” and is considered racist, especially in the USA. The streamer was then banned from Twitch and does not even know how it happened.
This is what the streamer did: The Lithuanian streamer Karina “Karupups” Martsinkevich has about 4700 followers on Twitch.
This Twitter user says: At first, she thought the streamer was just very tanned.
This is what it’s about: The technique of darkening one’s face is considered “Blackface” in the USA and is frowned upon.
The “black face” was used in the USA by white actors in film and theater to portray black characters, which were depicted in clichéd and racist ways.
Hence, “Blackfacing” is considered a taboo in the USA and is perceived as racist:
In other cultures, however, this sensitivity is not as present – there were no such debates there.
In the USA, Blackfacing is a delicate and sensitive topic.
Lifeline in Apex Legends.
This is how the streamer reacts: The Lithuanian streamer is apparently shocked by the reaction. It was just a picture, nothing more. People asked her how she did it and were interested.
The direct reaction over channels like Discord, saying she should be banned, apparently, she could not comprehend. (via dtf)

One of the games that most people are waiting for in 2019 is Grand Theft Auto 6. Fans are looking for clues that Rockstar is really working on a successor to Grand Theft Auto 5 and when a release could be. An artist is now providing a hint for this, which disappears again after it has been discovered.
A forum user discovered this: In the GTA Forum, the user “Apollo Thunder” posted a screenshot from Artstation.
This is something like an industry network and a gallery for graphic designers working on games. Artists showcase their work and post their resumes on Artstation.
The page of Bibin Michael is interesting here. He currently works for Codemasters as a 3D Game Artist. He seems to be a specialist in vehicles.
So it states in Bibin’s resume that he worked for Rockstar in India and created concept art for GTA 5 DLCs and for GTA 6 from December 2017 to April 2018.
The artist’s name also appears in the credits of Red Dead Redemption 2, as the forum user notes. This confirms that he really worked for Rockstar.
This is remarkable: GTA 6 has not yet been announced. Therefore, it would be a violation of the NDA, the confidentiality clause, to talk about it publicly.
Fans are searching with eagle eyes everywhere for clues that Rockstar is really working on the game and how far along the work is.
However, they are pleased to have found confirmation:
There is a discussion about why the artist mentioned GTA 6, as he must know that this violates the confidentiality agreement.
On the other hand, such leaks happen repeatedly – even Red Dead Redemption 2 had appeared in resumes prior to its release.
In the forum, they estimate that GTA 6 could be released in 2022 or 2023.
This is what happened next: After the discussion in the forum, the entry on the artist’s Artstation page disappeared.
So he now has a gap in his resume. It looks like the artist noticed his mistake and hastily deleted all traces of his work at Rockstar.
There are a lot of “leaks” and “rumors” surrounding Grand Theft Auto 6 – many of them are viewed skeptically, as Rockstar is considered quite tight-lipped. Leaks are rather rare.
How does one become a FIFA 19 professional? Marcel “DonChap28” Deutscher and manager Teoman Arslan explain what the path of a pro gamer looks like – and what everyday life is like.
This is Marcel “DonChap28” Deutscher: DonChap28 is regarded as one of the best FIFA players in Germany and will soon compete in the Grand Final of the Virtual Bundesliga. He plays under the banner of “L4K eSports” for “Team Paranoia”.
This is how Marcel Deutscher became a pro
Professional career not planned: The profession of a pro gamer is not exactly the most common. No wonder that there is no prescribed path – not even for Marcel “DonChap28” Deutscher: “I hadn’t planned that,” the professional tells in an interview with MeinMMO.
FIFA professional Marcel “DonChap28” Deutscher
“I played FIFA from a young age because I also played soccer in real life. I had played FIFA 12 online at one point, but then everything started becoming pay-to-play. I didn’t see that at the time.”
Several years later, that should change: Multiple knee surgeries took the enthusiastic soccer player out of action: “I thought I’d try playing online.”
And it went better than expected: “Through the results in the Weekend League, you eventually get noticed: I often reached the Top 100 and appeared in the world rankings.”
Difference between pro and casual gamer
What made the difference for DonChap28: How was Marcel Deutscher able to develop into a top player so quickly? According to Deutscher, the soccer background plays a significant role: “I know almost every player inside and out. For example, if the opponent plays with Robben, I can almost ignore shots with the right foot – most of the time nothing happens anyway.”
Knowing the opponent’s players can determine victory or defeat: “In the VBL, I had an opponent who told me later that he didn’t know whether Delaney is left or right-footed. That gave me a crucial advantage in attack – he didn’t know where to defend.”
This distinguishes Deutscher from the competition: The age of the almost 27-year-old also plays a certain role. In the scene, it is expected that performance decreases as one gets older. However, DonChap28 sees himself at an advantage over the often much younger competition: “I have already experienced a bit, have completed vocational training. I approach things perhaps a bit more relaxed.”
The mentality can ultimately make a crucial difference in tournaments: “I remain relatively calm and get little upset. That helps in many situations – the more you get upset, the more your performance suffers.”
Can you make a living from it?
This is how the pro finances himself: By now, he can live off playing FIFA. And that just a few months after he hung up his previous job as a fitness trainer for the career of an eSports athlete: “There just wasn’t any time for that anymore,” Deutscher explains.
However, this is only possible through the team and the agency that supports him monthly with a salary, says Marcel Deutscher. Living exclusively off tournaments is extremely difficult. Prize money in the scene has improved, but is still relatively low unless you are winning the big tournaments every time.
A top-5 finish at a prestigious final in Singapore, for example, would not even bring in 1000 euros, the pro explains. And just getting there is already difficult enough.
It takes more than just performance
This is what matters as a pro: After the first successes in the online scene, it didn’t take long for Teoman Arslan from L4K Sports to notice Deutscher and sign the rising FIFA player.
However, good performance on the controller alone is not enough: “Besides gaming talent, the player must have a lot of discipline and endurance, be able to analyze games,” explains Arslan: “When the performance is right, the image must also be right. The player must be able to positively represent a brand.”
Having a strong presence on social media also helps a lot to become interesting for agencies.
L4K eSports Manager Teoman Arslan
This means: Just because you can keep up in gaming doesn’t mean you directly become a pro. Even pros lose sometimes – including Marcel Deutscher: “Then I get messages saying, ‘I beat DonChap, how do I get into the team?'” says Arslan: “And then you are explaining.”
What is the everyday life of a pro like?
This is how much FIFA a pro plays a day: The path to becoming a pro is not that easy. And once you’ve made it, it doesn’t get easier: From now on, a lot of training awaits. “The time invested distinguishes the amateur from the pro,” Arslan makes clear.
Especially when a new version of FIFA comes out, the training effort is high: “You sometimes play 6, 7 hours a day,” emphasizes DonChap28: “To get better, you just have to play a lot.”
Towards the end of the season, however, it becomes more relaxed. Provided you are no longer qualified for the big finals: “Then you have a summer break until the next part. That can feel almost too long.”
This is how a pro trains: In a further live interview with MeinMMO, Marcel Deutscher emphasized the advantage of joining a team with good professionals early on: “Then you have your training partners and can analyze your games.”
Through the contacts of his eSports agency, he has had the opportunity to train with former German champion Cihan Yasarlar.
Marcel Deutscher in conversation with MeinMMO. You can watch the full video here on MAX.
The training does not simply consist of playing 1-on-1. Instead, the game is constantly interrupted after critical scenes and optimized in detail. It helps immensely when a successful pro acts as a mentor.
Training is not everything
These factors also play a role: However, training alone is not enough to reliably beat the competition. Because it is tough: “Everyone who participates in an official tournament can play FIFA,” Arslan knows.
That’s why small details can be crucial in such situations: “You have to be physically fit at that level. You start in the morning at tournaments, play matches continuously from noon to evening, need to concentrate and sit the whole time,” explains Deutscher, who trains four to five times a week at the gym – also as a balance: “In addition, I’m often out with my dog.”
The right nutrition is crucial: The topic of nutrition is also still greatly underestimated in the scene: “Many drink a soda or eat a bag of chips while playing. You might not believe it, but at a certain point, it affects concentration. When you have sugar in you, you definitely notice it.”
FIFA requires adjustments
This is how pros view the many FIFA updates: Another factor that not only separates pro from casual gamers but can also determine victory or defeat: The ability to adjust.
“A pro must always adjust to each update. At every tournament, the game feels different,” emphasizes Arslan. One must be able to adapt their gameplay completely. Especially after the patch at the beginning of the year the game changed drastically. And that can certainly be frustrating, as Marcel Deutscher also revealed in the stream at MAX:

This version is played in tournaments: Not only the numerous updates in FIFA 19 require flexibility. A special eSports version of the game is also used in tournaments. Although it is supposed to have fewer bugs, it can still cause confusion.
“That’s already an adjustment. The gameplay is slower, not much bad happens,” explains DonChap28, who has also had issues with it: “The first time we got to test it briefly, I found: This is a completely different game. Then I spent the whole night thinking about it.”
FIFA in leisure time? Probably not
This is what is played in leisure time: Since the pro job already takes up most of the day, FIFA hardly plays a role in leisure time anymore: “You occasionally play Pro Clubs with friends, as it’s quite fun. But playing against each other – that doesn’t benefit my friend and it doesn’t benefit me,” explains Deutscher.
Whether a pro spends leisure time playing FIFA is rather a question to consider twice.
If at all, other games are preferred to be played with friends – after all, you want to see something different than always just the virtual soccer field: “I believe, at that level, hardly anyone still plays FIFA with friends. They’d rather play a round of Fortnite or something similar.”
Nonetheless, you will likely see DonChap28 playing FIFA more often outside of tournaments starting next season: The pro plans to start his own YouTube channel for the upcoming season. His tips on how to improve quickly, however, you can already get:
In Destiny 2 , developer Bungie has encountered a silly issue. A new item for the “Binge” event negatively affects PvP. Bungie admits to making a mistake here, but the problem isn’t easy to fix.
This is the problem: The Spring event “Binge” started on Tuesday. A new feature of the event is an elixir, the binge essence. This grants players a buff. As a result, Guardians can choose to act faster:
Especially the grenade spam bothers regular players. One user mentions that it feels like playing dodgeball, having to dodge numerous balls.
The Guardians demand that Bungie should disable the elixir in the competitive Crucible, so that shooter skills are needed in Destiny 2’s Crucible instead of spamming skills or grenades.
Bungie wanted to keep Destiny 2 fresh
Bungie says now: Community Manager Cozmo23 spoke out on Reddit .
He states that the intention was to inject new life into every activity of Destiny 2 with this change by altering the sandbox meta for a certain period of time.
It is now clear: Bungie has gone overboard. Instead of bringing joy, the Crucible experience has become more frustrating.
However, there is no way to disable the essence server-side. They are continuing to look into whether the problem can be resolved.
This is the villain.
However, the experiment must last until the end of the Spring event before they can change the meta with a client-side patch, according to Cozmo.
They have learned a lot from the past few days and will ensure a better experience next time when altering the rules for a limited time.
Players are likely left with no choice but to live with the altered PvP for the next few weeks or take a break during this time.
At least the tower looks nice right now.
How long does this still last? The event is supposed to run until May 7th. During this time, PvP is significantly different than usual.
Players find the duration here a bit long. A few days of grenade madness would have probably been okay, but three weeks is rather lengthy.
The new event “Binge” has a few issues that are causing negative reactions. After complaints about the new armor ornaments and the grenade spam, there are also problems with the spheres:
Many fans of Fallout 76 have enjoyed tinkering with their C.A.M.P.s and have exploited a bug here and there to build better. This bug is soon to become an intended feature by Bethesda.
Which bug is it? It’s about “floating foundations” when building C.A.M.P.s in Fallout 76. Players have already used bugs with foundations to stack them and build huge pyramids.
Additionally, the bug was very popular for circumventing some difficulties with relocating C.A.M.P.s. Often, an invalid ground was displayed because the foundations didn’t touch the ground. That’s why floating foundations were used.
How will this be implemented? In the latest “Inside the Vault” from April 18, 2019, Bethesda explains that foundations will no longer require ground contact in the future. Only the first foundation of the camp must be connected to the ground.
All foundations built onto this first foundation, however, will no longer need to touch the ground. This is intended to make it easier to move and reposition larger structures.
The change is expected to be available with the upcoming Patch 9, which will be implemented in May.
C.A.M.P.s should be easier to move.
This improves the building system: With the new floating foundations, there are now officially building options that were previously only available through cumbersome bugs. For example, players can build houses on cliffs or create small islands in the air.
Also, particularly crazy C.A.M.P.s are now possible. The core idea, however, seems to be that fans of the building system can move their C.A.M.P.s more easily and can simply build more freely than before.
How are the fans reacting? The idea is well-received and is being discussed a lot by fans in the reddit thread on the new ‘Inside the Vault’. Most are looking forward to the feature:
Great change to C.A.M.P. No more need to build floating islands.
The discussion about the new feature even got its own thread on reddit, where fans exchanged ideas. Some are concerned that floating camps and houses on cliffs will become prevalent, but most players are excited and are already thinking about how to further improve this.
What do you think of the new change?
Fallout 76 even offers a new dungeon, which has not been well received so far:
Nexon is working with Peria Chronicles on an MMORPG for PC that not only looks like a playable anime but also offers interesting and fresh features. The testing phase will start soon – at least in Korea.
What is Peria Chronicles? The MMORPG was announced back in 2012 by Nexon as Project NT. In the game, you will not only experience adventures in an anime world, but you can also help shape it.
The graphics resemble anime thanks to cell-shading. The game looks as if you are playing a Japanese animated film.
NPCs provide you with quests
You fight numerous monsters to improve your hero.

What is special about the MMORPG? Peria Chronicles is not a typical MMORPG, although many elements such as fighting, questing, and improving the character remind players of it. There are some features that set this online role-playing game apart from other genre representatives.
Through the pet system, it is possible to befriend the so-called Kirana. These are beings with various abilities that support you in battles.
You can create your own Kirana. You can combine abilities to create the pet that is most useful to you.
You summon the Kirana during battles. This summoning system is an important part of the game. The entire system somewhat resembles Pokémon.
You design your own world. In the skies above the planet, you build floating landscapes that you shape freely. There you even place objects and NPCs, creating an individual world that you gradually expand.
Your imagination has no limits when building. For example, you can create dungeons and fill them with traps. Other players will then explore your dungeon.
There are many mini-games similar to MapleStory 2. Among them is a kind of Tetris.
When does Peria Chronicles start? The MMORPG will hold its first testing phase from May 9 to May 12 in South Korea, for which interested players can currently register until May 2.
Peria Chronicles does not yet have a release date. It is also not known when testing will start in Europe and the USA.
What do players think about Peria Chronicles? There is a fan base that is already looking forward to being able to play the MMORPG. Discussions about new features are taking place on Reddit.
Juxtaprosed says on Reddit: “I need this game finally!”
However, some are also skeptical because the game has been in development for about seven years, and during this time, there have been periods of silence. For some time, the MMORPG was even considered dead. Therefore, some want to wait and see what comes.
In The Division 2, the new Exotic “Nemesis” turns out to be perhaps the best weapon in the game. The sniper rifle is so powerful that sharpshooters prefer to use it over their specialization weapon.
Why is the weapon only available now? The exotic sniper rifle “Nemesis” actually came out with the major update “Tidal Basin” a few weeks ago for The Division 2.
However, the weapon was locked behind a time gate. Players must go through all 3 strongholds in The Division 2, specifically in the “Black Tusk” version:
Direct Union Arena (the Hyena base)
Roosevelt Island (that’s where the Outcasts hang out)
And the Capitol (the stronghold of the True Sons)
It was necessary to wait for two additional resets after the patch, because every week, the stronghold taken by the Black Tusks changes and counts as “Invaded”.
But now the time has run out and the first players have the weapon.
They occupy different locations every week: The Black Tusk
In addition to the three parts from the strongholds, you need two more parts for the Nemesis:
The blueprint is obtained from a boss in the hotel mission.
This is a sniper rifle that can “charge” the shot. The longer you hold the button, the more damage the shot deals.
Additionally, you can aim and mark opponents with the Nemesis. This marking allows you to track enemies even through walls and increases the damage further.
How strong is the weapon now? Since this week, the first players have the weapon and they rave about the sniper.
The weapon can achieve incredibly high damage values. There are reports of versions that reach values beyond 340k.
According to the website Forbes, the Nemesis can reach up to 1.5 million damage points with a headshot.
MeinMMO reader JimmyDean claims to kill elite enemies with one shot using the Nemesis.
However, these damage values can vary. MeinMMO reader NO ME3RCY states that his original model had a damage value of 301k at weapon level 490. When he upgraded the Nemesis to 500, the damage dropped to 281k.
Source: Forbes
This is the problem: The extreme strength could now develop into a problem for the Nemesis.
Therefore, many agents are now expecting a nerf for the Nemesis. Many believe the weapon is simply too strong to remain in its current form in the game.
So anyone who can get their hands on the Nemesis should probably use it for as long as possible.
More about the Nemesis and how to obtain it can be found in this article.
Blizzard improves rewards in World of Warcraft. Soon, world quests will offer significantly better rewards.
Many players may not find the rewards from world quests in World of Warcraft very useful anymore. However, this is likely to change for some, as Blizzard plans to enhance the loot gained from world quests and related activities. This will take effect next week, following the server maintenance on April 24.
The Orc is happy – better loot for easy tasks.
How will the rewards be improved? Overall, the developers are increasing the item level of items from four sources:
Rewards from world quests will scale up to item level 370 (previously 360).
Equipment from emissary quests will scale up to item level 395 (previously 385).
Azerite gear from emissary quests will scale up to item level 400 (previously 385).
Rewards from the quest “Imbalance of Power” (when available) will increase to item level 395 (previously 385).
The improvement only affects new equipment earned starting next Wednesday. No items will be retroactively upgraded.
Why is the item level of world quests being adjusted? Blizzard wants to keep many content pieces reasonably relevant. As the new raid “Crucible of Storms” will also be available in LFR starting Wednesday, all players should be able to meet the requirements through world quests alone. Therefore, the item level of many rewards will be increased.
Players should hold onto quests: Since the item level of emissary quests is increasing, players should save their emissary quests on Monday and Tuesday if they promise equipment. These quests can then be turned in on Wednesday and will contain better rewards.
Do you think it’s good that the rewards from world quests are becoming better again? Or does that devalue too many other rewards for which you have worked hard?

A lot has been said about the Calypso twins, the new villains in Borderlands 3. The announcement trailer suggests that a weapons manufacturer will also play a significant role.
Why do weapons manufacturers play such a significant role in Borderlands? In a loot shooter, everything naturally revolves around the available firearms. And Borderlands has a lot of them. Developer Gearbox has always linked the available guns with weapon manufacturers, which also play an important role in the story.
Mr. Torgue – head of the weapons company Torgue and main character of a Borderlands 2 DLC
It all started in Borderlands 1:
The Atlas Corporation plays an important role in Borderlands 1 and serves as a mega-corporation that has subjugated the planet. In the DLC “Secret Armoury of General Knoxx,” this story is prominently brought to the forefront.
In Borderlands 2, we have to deal with Handsome Jack, the CEO of Hyperion. Throughout the story, we are increasingly attacked by Hyperion soldiers.
In Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage, we also deal with the weapon manufacturer Torgue.
Again and again, the weapon manufacturers are prominently integrated into the story. Borderlands 3 will also be no exception.
The weapons of the new faction Children of the Vault
These weapons manufacturers could play a significant role in Borderlands 3: It’s already known that the Calypso twins will be the villains of the new installment. Additionally, we know that the twins lead the cult “Children of the Vault,” which is also regarded as a weapons manufacturer.
However, little is known about which other weapons manufacturers will play a larger role. The announcement trailer does at least provide a small hint as to which manufacturer could become important, namely Maliwan.
The logo of the manufacturer Maliwan
Why could Maliwan become important in Borderlands 3? In the announcement trailer, players were able to catch at least two brief glimpses of futuristic-looking robots displaying the distinctive Maliwan “M”. The color scheme also matched the weapon design from Borderlands 2.
Maliwan specializes in futuristic elemental weapons, as some design examples for Borderlands 3 show:
The weapon design of the manufacturer Maliwan
But that’s not all. The trailer also showcased a futuristic city that features the characteristic Maliwan aesthetics. Will the game send us against the weapons manufacturer Maliwan and its alleged headquarters?
Or will Maliwan even play a “good” role? Currently, this can only be speculated. However, if Maliwan is our opponent, we can look forward to plenty of elements that will rain down on us.
A futuristic mega-city – the seat of Maliwan?
Although the slag element is removed in Borderlands 3, there are still enough ways to make our lives difficult with corrosion, shock, frost, and fire.
What do you think? What role will Maliwan play in Borderlands 3?
In Fortnite: Battle Royale has started the end event for Season 8. A mysterious rune is floating above the map and you can advance it. Find out here everything we know so far about the big event.
What is the rune about? On April 19, a mysterious rune appeared on a metal pedestal at Paradise Palms. Unlike previous rune occurrences, this one has a health point display. You can damage the rune with your weapons.
What happens when the rune is damaged? At first, nothing, but once a total of 100 million points of damage have been dealt, the rune will move and fly to a new location. It will stay there until it is “supplied” with another 100 million damage.

How is it possible to deal 100,000,000 damage alone? The event is global, and the damage from all Fortnite players in every ongoing match worldwide is accounted for the rune. Every contribution counts, and the rune moves surprisingly quickly thanks to your collective efforts.
Where is the rune now? As of now (April 20), the rune has zoomed all the way to Shifty Shafts and seems to be moving north towards Loot Lake.
It is suspected that the rune is somehow a key to the shaft and something big will come out at the end. It is likely that more runes will appear that will be directed to Loot Lake like the current rune.
Is Thanos in the bunker opened by the runes at the end?
What is the shaft about? There is also a lot of speculation about the secret of the closed shaft on Reddit:
It is suspected that it has to do with the cube. It actually exploded at this location at the end of Season 6.
Other players suspect that everything has to do with Thanos. The villain from the upcoming Avengers film has been vaguely teased by Epic, and there was also a Thanos mode for the last film in 2018.
Players of Apex Legends on PS4 and Xbox One have been facing a bigger problem for some time. This does not include the usual complaints about bugs and hackers, but rather a deliberate gameplay feature that bothers many.
What annoys the players? While PC players deal with hackers, console fans have completely different concerns. The issue is related to a control element in Apex Legends, specifically about reloading. More precisely, it’s not just about reloading but that many actions are bound to the reload button.
On PS4 and Xbox One
multiple actions are bound to the same button (X or Square)
including:
reloading
opening doors
looting
This is exactly what bothers the
players and has even become a bane for some.
With too many loot boxes, reloading can become difficult.
What are the implications? The controls are causing issues for fans in several places. On the one hand, they sometimes find it hard or even impossible to open loot boxes from players who died in doorways. There, they always interact with the door instead of accessing the loot box.
Outside the already cursed bunker, another firefight occurs. But since several opponents have already died there, Jacob cannot reload. Instead, he keeps accessing loot boxes while being killed by enemies with an empty magazine.

The problem has not even existed just since the last patch, but since the release of the game.
Is there a solution? Apex Legends offers the option to remap controls on consoles. While the actions are still bound to the same button, the method of activation changes.
To reload or
interact, depending on the setting, the button needs to be held down, while the other actions only require a tap or a brief press.
Some players find this helpful. For instance, user Kendrix98: writes:
It sounds terrible, but in practice, it is no different than the default setting. I’d rather die in one out of 500 attempts due to holding than in one out of 10 due to the default setting.
Other fans are not so enthusiastic and are asking for alternative solutions. However, these currently seem to be lacking.
Do you have these problems too? What is your solution?
The latest patch also seems to be causing difficulties:
The mood at World of Warcraft seems to be improving again. The reason for this is apparently Patch 8.2, which is still a long way off.
Anyone who has been in the forums of World of Warcraft or the corresponding subreddit in the last few months may not have felt very comfortable. The atmosphere was tense, and morale was low. Almost every second post was a complaint or harsh criticism of the current state of WoW. Many had already feared that the MMO giant was coming to an end, as there has rarely been such negative sentiment for such a long time.
But it seems that Blizzard has finally managed to get back on track and steer WoW in the right direction.
Here’s how the last few months have been: The once positive subreddit for World of Warcraft has turned into a haven of cynicism and mockery. Aside from some funny memes and a few “That was me 13 years ago when I started with WoW” posts, criticism and negativity prevailed. The gameplay was mocked, the story was deemed poor, and generally, Battle for Azeroth is seen as a step back compared to Legion.
Here’s the current state: After developer Jeremy Feasel presented the contents of Patch 8.2 Azshara’s Rise in detail during a livestream, the mood seemed to shift. Although skepticism remained deep after Patch 8.1, most players quickly found content that interested them. Whether it was an overhaul of the Heart of Azeroth, new cool mounts or the story progressing in a different, darker direction.
Players are pleased with the changes to the Heart of Azeroth.
Blizzard has won over YouTubers: The perception of World of Warcraft largely depends not only on the player base but is also influenced by numerous content creators. Some big YouTubers, like Taliesin & Evitel or Bellular, have a significant reach within the WoW community. Their opinions and videos often influence how players perceive WoW. If someone sees all day what’s going wrong in WoW on their favorite YouTuber’s channel, they will enjoy the game less themselves.
Blizzard invited many YouTubers in advance this time and let them try out the patch before it was available on the PTR. Subsequently, there were large Q&A sessions with the developers, where the YouTubers could give extensive feedback. They felt heard, and a dialogue was created. These positive impressions, along with many exclusive pieces of information, were then shared outward.
The result was (for the most part) positively inclined YouTubers who also engaged their respective audiences. The plan succeeded.
Is it all coming too late? However, it cannot be denied that Blizzard has apparently lost many players who are no longer interested in WoW – at least at the moment. This is the conclusion reached by YouTuber Bellular. He points out that many videos about Patch 8.2 are reaching fewer viewers on the major YouTubers’ channels than older videos. Bellular concludes that many players could not endure this long “dry spell” this time and have left. Winning them back will be difficult for Blizzard.

Patch 8.2 is the last chance for BfA: In summary, it can be said that Patch 8.2 is Blizzard’s last chance to excite players about “Battle for Azeroth” and ensure that this expansion is associated with good memories. It seems that fans are willing to put their trust in the developers once more and look forward eagerly to the next update.
Whether Blizzard has really managed to turn around the rather negatively perceived Battle for Azeroth with Patch 8.2 Azshara’s Rise remains to be seen. At least the first signs are good.
What is your opinion on Patch 8.2? Is this the salvation for Battle for Azeroth? Or is it too soon to be happy?

In Fortnite: Battle Royale there are special skins and outfits for Easter again. But instead of cute bunnies, there is a genuine killer rabbit!
Every major holiday is celebrated in Fortnite with special skins and outfits . Easter is no exception, but Fortnite sees the festival of spring and colorful eggs a bit differently.
Therefore, the Easter Bunny in Fortnite is not a harmless little bunny, but seems to have emerged directly from the nightmares of bunny haters.
What does the new rabbit look like? The horror rabbit is called “Finsterhase”. In English, it is referred to with the pun “Nitehare,” a wonderful mix of Nightmare and Hare. He is a creepy, pale rabbit with dead white eyes, tattered ears, and stitched scars.
He wears a kind of overall to which meat hooks are attached. Several marks on his belt indicate that he has already taken many lives.
What accessories does the horror rabbit wear? As a back accessory, the killer bunny has a tattered bunny doll with crossed-out eyes.
What else is there? If you want the full Easter package, you can still get the “Steel Carrot.” It’s a nasty pickaxe in the shape of a carrot.
How much does it all cost? The rabbit itself, along with the back accessory, costs 1,500 V-Bucks. That’s about 15 Euros. The bunny pickaxe is available for 800 Bucks (8 Euros). So if you want to scare opponents as a carrot-axe-swinging killer rabbit, you need to shell out a total of 23 Euros.
Players are getting scared
This is how the skin is received by fans: The Finsterhase caused some reactions in the community even as a leak. Some players got scared on Reddit and feared the day Nitehare would officially hop into the game:
„If I see that thing running towards me, I immediately hit Alt-F4!”
„Imagine this guy running full speed at you, with a scythe!”
„I would crap my pants!”
„That’s creepy, but I love it!”
„Looks like a total crazy lead singer from a metal band!”
For some statements in the chat of Heroes of the Storm, a 26-year-old player is now in prison. Blizzard alerted the police.
In the chats of MOBAs, things can get heated. Insults are commonplace, and the occasional “stupid remark” is often made.
The fact that thoughtless statements can have extremely severe consequences is demonstrated by a case from Las Vegas. There, the player Michael Mickowsky (26) was immediately arrested after announcing a shooting spree in Heroes of the Storm.
This is what Mickowsky said: In the in-game chat of Heroes of the Storm, he announced that he wanted to carry out a shooting at a school. He literally said:
“One day, when I have enough money to buy a weapon and ammunition, I will shoot up a school nearby. (…) Just imagine if I went to an elementary school. Instead of a high school or middle school, just imagine that. I’ll buy a weapon and shoot anyone I can hit. I’ll stream it on Twitch. (…)
I promise, watch me blow the head off a 5-year-old with a 12-gauge shotgun.”
This is how Blizzard reacted: Shortly after these announcements, Blizzard contacted the appropriate authorities. Using the IP address, Mickowsky was subsequently tracked down.
The police confirmed that the statements were made from his game account.
This is what happened at the police: In a conversation with the officers, Mickowsky stated that he had made “exaggerated statements”.
According to the police, there are 18 elementary schools near Mickowsky’s residence. The police believe that it is “only due to a lack of money that no incident with many victims has occurred so far”.
Currently, Mickowsky is in custody and his bail is set at $150,000. His first hearing is scheduled for next week (April 25).
When the police informed Mickowsky’s mother, she reportedly asked if her son had hurt someone.
Whether Mickowsky truly intended to carry out the gruesome plans or if they were merely thoughtless and supposedly humorous statements remains unknown.
