In fact, the superhero MMORPG City of Heroes was supposed to have been shut down since 2012. However, after it became known that City of Heroes could still be played on unofficial private servers, a lot has happened around these private servers.
SCORE offers its members the opportunity to restore old characters from the original City of Heroes so that fans can simply continue where they left off.
This caused an outcry in the community, as many players who were not invited felt overlooked. They thought the community would stick together and were disappointed that they didn’t know anything about SCORE.
This is what has happened now: An independent group of fans from SCORE operator Leandro Pardini has now also gained access to the source code of the private server of City of Heroes.
The exact circumstances of how this happened are not entirely clear. As MassivelyOP reports, the code was uploaded to a Discord server and then spread. However, the code does not contain the complete game. It still needs to be developed further to function.
Meanwhile, the group has already created a test server from the code, and according to MassivelyOP, over 8000 players have registered for it in just a few days. Currently, however, the server can only support 2500 players at the same time.
While it was possible to restore your old character in SCORE, this will likely not be the case in the new project. One of the team members announced this on Discord. Whether SCORE itself will continue to operate has not been confirmed or denied.
What does this mean for fans? For fans of the original game, this means that they might soon regain access to a City of Heroes. In a post on reddit, some fans shared information about the server.
NCSoft, the operator of the original City of Heroes, has apparently become aware of the situation but has not yet reacted. Until a decision comes from NCSoft, the private servers remain in a gray area.
Where does the fascination with City of Heroes come from? City of Heroes was an MMORPG in which players could take on the roles of superheroes and supervillains.
Instead of using conventional classes and skills, City of Heroes worked with superpowers. These could be coordinated in battles together with other heroes against gigantic opponents, creating a unique dynamic.
For many fans, there has been no replacement for this type of superhero game since the end of City of Heroes.
Do you also have an old MMORPG that you still celebrate?
With its now nine legends, Apex Legends offers a wide selection of different characters. However, not all of them are equally strong, and players perceive one of them as particularly weak. The developers see it differently.
Which legend is it? It is Mirage. Mirage’s abilities include tricks and confusions of the opponent. He works with copies of himself and uses cloaking to lure enemies into traps or reveal their positions.

In the reddit thread about the current patch, fans discuss that it would already be a buff for Mirage if his ultimate ability did less than it currently does. It would be stronger if he did not become invisible but remained visible. This way, opponents would not immediately know which one the real Mirage is.
That’s why there is no buff: However, in the same thread, a developer also responded to the criticism. According to Leeeeeee-RSPN, the win rate of Mirage does not indicate that he needs a buff.
Figures from early April show that Mirage is one of the least popular legends in Apex Legends. At the same time, he is also one of the legends with the highest win rate. Respawn currently sees no reason to buff him and has no plans in that direction.
Do you think Mirage needs a buff?
Console players apparently have quite different problems right now:
In Pokémon GO there are reports of a special Shiny rate for Scyther. It is said that this Pokémon appears Shiny in the wild more often than other Pokémon.
This is what players are saying about the Shiny: On Reddit numerous players have shared their results from Scyther nests. There, all trainers have found that the rate of encountering a Shiny seems to be significantly increased.
This is how the Shiny came into the game: With the Bug Event in April 2019, Scyther was first introduced as a Shiny. Since then, the Pokémon is seen rather rarely in the wild, mainly in nests.
With the Bug Event, Scyther was introduced as a Shiny
Why is the Shiny rate different here? Niantic had already used a different Shiny rate for Aerodactyl and Shuckle. Now it seems that Scyther has also been affected.
The official reason for Niantic’s rate changes is not known. It is suspected that it relates to the rarity of the Pokémon. Shuckle and Aerodactyl are quite rare in the wild, and Scyther is as well, outside nests.
What does the Shiny rate of Scyther mean now? If it indeed lies at 1 in 150, then it is quite high. Normally, you would need to click three times as many Pokémon to get a Shiny.
This is what the Shinys of Scyther and Scizor look like.
What does this mean for me now? If you have a Scyther nest in your city, you should definitely visit it. Clearly, you have the chance to obtain a rare Shiny.
It is not known if this rate will remain for a short time only or if it is a mistake. Therefore, you should take your chance and try to grab a Shiny Scyther. Currently, the odds are looking very good.
The best Pokémon of the 4th generation is still not in the game:
Albion Online has been Free2Play since April 10th. The entry is said to have been simplified by the latest updates. A good time for our author Alexander Leitsch to take a look at the MMORPG.
I have been accompanied by MMORPGs since I was eleven years old. Although I have played many different games over the years, Albion slipped under my radar due to its isometric perspective and graphics.
From Guild Wars 2, Black Desert, or ArcheAge, I am used to very intensive and detailed character creation. Races, classes, many options for appearance, and details like piercings or tattoos.
Albion Online forgoes exactly these details in character creation. The biggest adjustment for me is the class choice. There simply isn’t one. How you play your class ultimately depends on your equipment choice and the content unlocked on the Destiny Board.
But other details like races or elaborate character designs have also been omitted. You first choose from a selection of new avatars. These are always humans, but with adjusted appearances. Afterwards, you can still choose between details like skin color, hair color, body hair, and underwear.
Character creation in Albion Online gives no more details
From the start, everything revolves around grind
After character creation, you land on a small tutorial island. There you will get familiar with the controls and the first tasks. Even on this island, you should collect materials like wood and stone to craft armor and weapons.
These small quests show you directly where a significant part of the gameplay time in Albion Online will be spent. Because to unlock higher equipment tiers, you have to craft the lower equipment again and again.
But you also have to learn to equip your gear first. By killing many enemies with the lower equipment, you learn to be able to equip the higher gear.
All these functions and content come together on the Destiny Board. Those who understand the board know their tasks in Albion Online.
On the Destiny Board, you will find your skills
Step by step to higher tiers
After the starting area, quests eventually stop as well. From here on, it’s focus on the Destiny Board!
This is what the Destiny Board can do: Whether unlocking new crafting tiers, new equipment, or more difficult expeditions. Only those who grind the previous tiers reach a higher one. This is still fun in the first levels but quickly becomes monotonous.
For the highest tiers, you have to craft and identify items multiple times. After many hours of farming and crafting, I at least reached item tier 5 out of a possible 8 tiers. However, only in crafting.
Grind also when killing enemies: To be able to equip higher gear, you have to kill many enemies. These must be a certain level or above that level.
So far, however, I am not able to equip item tier 5. And that is mainly because I have hardly found any enemies.
The swordsmithing – many hours of grinding to reach tier 17 out of 100
Beautiful, vibrant world
The shift to Free2Play did Albion Online good. Suddenly there were queues and a huge number of players interested in the MMORPG. The world is now said to be even expanding.
However, the interest also has its price, especially when many players gather in the starting areas.
Players make the cities confusing: During my first attempt to reach the auction house, I took almost a minute to find the NPC. Not because he was hidden, but simply because so many players were standing by him.
Many players at the auction house
And the same awaited me in the areas. Finding and defeating enemies in the initial zones was almost impossible. Players kept rushing at the way too few mobs in my opinion.
You have to team up with other players to fully experience the content. This is especially true for PvP.
Arenas and GvGs: If the PvP in the open world doesn’t suffice, you can also participate in a more organized manner. There are PvP arenas, which again require a certain equipment tier.
In addition, individual guilds and alliances can control, conquer, and defend certain areas in the world. These areas comprise the endgame of the game alongside gathering materials and PvE dungeons.
Real money would make everything easier and faster
Exchanging gold for silver: Only towards the end of my test play did I actually break down and buy some gold. For 4.40 euros, you get the first package with 750 gold. This gold can be converted into silver, the in-game currency of Albion Online.
And for 750 gold, you get nearly 1 million silver. And what drama I’ve spared myself with that silver.
Advantages of a money boost at the start: If you carry too much weight in your inventory, you move slower. The same applies to the mount. However, if you want to utilize crafting well, you need many materials. A transport ox helps here. This mount has many more carrying capacities.
But for that, you first need the nearly 10,000 silver to afford the animal. The moments when I was missing a few materials to reach the next tier in crafting could also be comfortably solved with some silver.
You don’t want to know how often I have run between the open areas, the auction house, and the crafting stations, always on the verge of the weight limit. The mount is a must-have!
Premium character as the cherry on top: If you want to go even further, you buy a premium account. More learning points, more resource and harvest yield, more silver from mobs, and a fame bonus.
All very useful if you want to progress quickly and save time. However, such a premium status only applies to one character. Since you are not bound to any class, you can continually adjust that one according to your wishes.
My conclusion
Albion Online was more fun for me than I expected after the first few minutes. The graphics, controls, and grind had always kept me away from the MMORPG.
But while in Guild Wars 2, I sometimes don’t know what to do, the Destiny Board gives me a plethora of tasks. Although they are all connected to grind, those who enjoy having the carrot in front of them have plenty to do in Albion Online.
The PvP battles were exciting, and in the end, I won at least a few of them in the open world. Fairly, I must also admit that I haven’t ventured into the black zones yet.
The topic of real money keeps coming up in connection with Albion Online. A premium status is certainly helpful, but can theoretically also be achieved by exchanging in-game currency for gold. While you benefit from a small boost for a good mount and first equipment at the start, you can sell expensive materials in the endgame and secure the premium status for that. At least if you are willing to take on a bit of extra grind.
However, anyone looking for an MMORPG focused on PvP and who has no issues with losing their equipment will have a lot of fun in Albion Online. I, for one, will also try to further progress my character Sputtele in the coming weeks.

The focus of the areas is primarily on resources, and you need to gather plenty of these to progress.
This is how I experienced the first battle against other players
For higher gear, you need higher resources. And to get higher resources, you will eventually have to venture into higher areas. Albion Online has a very easy to understand system:
The lower areas have a blue marking. There is no PvP here.
Higher areas are marked with a yellow marking. There you can optionally fight against each other.
The red areas are PvP areas. This is where the first action happens.
In black areas, it’s almost entirely about PvP.
The PvP in Albion Online is particularly interesting because it includes full loot. Who dies drops their equipment and the opponent can pick it up. This is incredibly annoying when you just equipped your first T4 gear.
My first experience was in a yellow area and is quite comical. I actually only wanted to chop a tree. But right in it stood a player. I clicked on him and accidentally attacked.
Before I knew it, the player of course retaliated. And I was powerless. When killed, you have two options:
Wait 3 minutes and respawn at the same spot
Respawn at a safe, distant location… and lose all equipment
I waited the three minutes, and kindly the other player did not strike again to loot me completely.
How I learned to fight in Albion Online
The Skills in Albion Online: In a fight, you can access four weapon skills and two utility skills in addition to the auto-attack. More are not available to you. Which skills you can use is determined by your equipment.
They depend both on the armor class and the selected weapon. In the inventory, you then have various skills to choose from by clicking on your equipment.
Skills and equipment in Albion Online
Dodging and Interrupting: Only in PvP and expeditions did I learn that you should evade enemy attacks through skillful movements or interrupts. The mobs from the first areas didn’t really demand that, which is why I got my ass kicked in my first PvP duel.
The entry into the combat system of Albion Online is initially quite relaxed. However, anyone who fights against other players should be familiar with both their skills and those of the opponent.
Housing and endgame of Albion Online
What is housing like in Albion? Also, shortly before writing this report I bought my own island. For this, you definitely need a premium account. You can gradually expand the island and build buildings there.
This includes houses that you can decorate, crafting buildings such as the smithy, and agricultural facilities like fields or herb gardens for food.
You will also need silver and a variety of materials to erect these buildings. You can access this island from the capitals. However, these often already have crafting buildings. As there is no bank and auction house on the island, I see no reason to buy it other than for personal design.
Additionally, you can acquire plots and houses in the cities themselves. However, since space is tight, you have to wait for auctions. And even though I haven’t seen any, the purchase will likely not be cheap.
Buying plots in Albion Online
The expeditions in Albion Online: I have had a lot of fun so far with the expeditions. These are dungeons that you can enter either alone or in a group from a city.
However, expeditions require certain equipment tiers, so you can’t experience all of them immediately. The lower tiers have been a lot of fun, though.
I have not been impressed by the difficulty so far. But that might still change at the higher tiers.
Random dungeons: However, what was not manageable in terms of difficulty were the randomly generated dungeons that came with the Oberon update in March. At least for me.
If I had had a group with other players, my run would probably have been much more successful. But that’s also one of the key points of Albion.
You have to team up with other players to fully experience the content. This is especially true for PvP.
Arenas and GvGs: If the PvP in the open world doesn’t suffice, you can also participate in a more organized manner. There are PvP arenas, which again require a certain equipment tier.

It seems Bungie is excited about the idea of the Drifter in Destiny 2. In a video, they explain how fantastic and deep the character is and how much history is embedded in him.
Since Forsaken, Drifter has been closely tied to the Gambit mode, cracking his jokes there. Now that he has his own season in the Annual Pass , he has become even more central in Destiny 2.
For Bungie, the “Drifter” seems to be the coolest and deepest character they have ever created. In a developer video and an interview with the US website Polygon , Bungie’s story specialists highlight the character’s background.
The Drifter (German: der Vagabund)
This is the role the Drifter plays in Destiny 2: Bungie says: “The Drifter is like an uncle who shows you how to fight dirty.”
The Drifter is meant to encourage Guardians to walk the path between darkness and light.
Where does the Drifter come from? The Drifter is one of the first humans to be revived by the Traveler. Therefore, he did not become a Hunter, Warlock, or Titan, but a “Lightbearer.”
He lived in the “dark age”, long before the Guardians entered the world of Destiny.
During the Dark Age, he died alone from hunger hundreds of times and was repeatedly revived by his Ghost. Thus, his jokes about having eaten aliens should be taken seriously. Often he had no choice if he did not want to die again.
Since then:
He has owned a bar
was trapped on an ice planet
and fought in pretty much every conflict the Guardians have heard of
Shadow is one of the “Known” of Drifter.
This is the story of the Drifter: The character has gone by many different names and lived many lives over the long years. He has been part of many crews but has always left them again.
Alongside him, he has been involved with the mysterious “The Nine.” The Drifter contacts them through their emissary, whom he knew as the Guardian “Orin” from a previous life during the Dark Age.
But both have lived many lives since then and have changed.
The Nine want the solar system to survive and support the Drifter in preparing the Guardians to face the darkness. To do this, the Drifter runs the game modes Gambit and Gambit Prime to let the Guardians face fragments of the darkness.
The Nine have given the Drifter an appendage called the “Haul”: a massive ice ball. He drags it behind his spaceship. The “Haul” is the Drifter’s own little world, where he can create things. This place holds limitless potential.
Bungie says: What he creates there says more about the Drifter than about the Nine.
“Haul”
Because the Drifter uses the Haul apparently to channel and create his horrors. He creates the Taken and uses them as his personal guards or as training objects for Guardians to face in the “Reckoning” mode. Thus, this mode also partly plays in the mind of the Drifter.
As Bungie says, the “shadow of Oryx” is in the Reckoning because it is pretty much the worst thing the Drifter can imagine.
What does the Drifter want? The Drifter primarily wants to stay alive and has thus developed a healthy paranoia.
However, Bungie does not reveal what true intentions lie behind his grin and charm.
This is what Bungie wishes: The story team wants to create a mysterious character with the Drifter that evolves and tells an ongoing story. Ideally, Guardians should empathize here and hope for the resolution of the mysteries.
On the occasion of the Easter holidays, we have picked 5 quirky Easter Eggs for you. Here you will find everything from hidden vibrators to creepy child eaters.
Developers enjoy hiding secret features in their games. Players love discovering and talking about them. These are referred to as Easter Eggs – they can be funny, sad, creepy, or just plain strange.
In our list, you will find 5 Easter Eggs that can be described as quirky and simply strange.
The hidden vibrator in Borderlands 2
Mad Moxxi gives you a particularly funny weapon if she receives enough tips from you.
In Borderlands 2, there is a weapon that turns your controller into a vibrator with two intensity levels.
Where is the Easter Egg hidden? Of course, this weapon is from Miss Moxxi, the most dubious femme fatale of Pandora. This woman is the dream of every man and had affairs with the most powerful men of Pandora. Among them even Handsome Jack, the self-proclaimed dictator and antagonist of the game.
Mad Moxxi is one of the most famous characters in Pandora and runs battle arenas.
If you visit Miss Moxxi’s bar in the city of Sanctuary, you can throw tips into the tip jar on the counter. You can either give Moxxi $100 or $1,000.
Once you reach a total of $10,000, you have the chance that she will give you the “Bad Touch” weapon for further donations. This SMG is the bar owner’s second favorite weapon. If you continue to throw money into the tip jar, you also have a chance at “Good Touch,” Mad Moxxi’s absolute favorite weapon.
Miss Moxxi’s Good Touch deals plenty of damage but can also make your hands numb.
Both weapons have the special property of making your controller vibrate as soon as you use them. If you then use the zoom of the weapons, the controller vibrates even stronger.
By the way, both are among the strongest SMGs in the game. Especially Good Touch comes with massive damage. However, the exact values depend on the level.
All that tipping is definitely worth it, even though your hands may get a little numb after long use…
The Nemesis sniper rifle is currently the most powerful weapon in The Division 2. Here’s what you need to do to get it.
This weapon is about: Nemesis is an exotic precision rifle that can only be crafted. It was introduced with Title Update 2.0, which also added the Tidal Basin stronghold and World Tier 5.
To get it, you have to complete invaded strongholds. For the blueprint, you also need to play a targeted mission, which rotates weekly.
In this guide, we explain how you can get the components and blueprint for Nemesis.
How to get the Nemesis blueprint and crafting materials
You need 4 components to craft Nemesis. You can obtain them by completing the strongholds.
Step 1: Play Tidal Basin
Here’s how to get the 1st component:
First, you need to play the Tidal Basin stronghold a second time.
During the mission, you need to activate a laptop in a house. You will find a key on the second floor.
Continue playing until you board a ship (the large hovercraft). You need to eliminate the first wave of enemies in the hangar.
Stick to the left in the next room; you can open the door with the key.
There you will find a weapon crate containing the Adrestia sniper rifle.
Disassemble the weapon, and you will have your first component, the scope.
Now, you need to tackle the other strongholds to get the remaining components.
You will not be able to craft Nemesis immediately if you are just starting now. Only one of the 3 other strongholds is invaded each week. You can only complete one stronghold per week as a targeted invasion.
These are the 3 other strongholds and the components you will get:
Capitol (Receiver)
Roosevelt Island (Bolt)
District Union Arena (Stock)
What is a targeted invasion? These are also called Invaded Missions.
In an invaded mission or stronghold, you will face the Black Tusk as enemies instead of the usual 3. Each week, there is a different selection of targeted invasions.
Currently (April 22), for example, District Union Arena is available as a targeted invasion, so get the component before you have to wait again.
Also, their talents are very interesting, as you can charge the shots of the weapon.
These are the talents of the Nemesis exotic:
Counter Sniper: Shots deal 1-100% damage. This depends on how long you charge the shot. To charge a shot, you need to hold the trigger. If you miss your target, the charging time for the next shot decreases.
Nemesis: If you target an enemy for long enough, they will be marked for 15 seconds. As long as they are marked, you can see enemies through walls, and your damage increases by +5% every second up to a maximum of +50%.
Preparation: If you carry Nemesis in your holster, the headshot damage of your weapons increases by +25% when aiming with a scope.
To craft Nemesis, you also need 35 polycarbonate, 25 carbon fibers, and 82 closure casing components.
Nemesis is a real beast
This is what makes the exotic weapon so powerful: Sniper rifles generally have a high base damage. However, Nemesis far surpasses other weapons in the same category.
Players suspect that the weapon might be nerfed soon. However, at the moment, a well-placed headshot can eliminate almost any enemy with one shot, provided they are not wearing a helmet.
This makes Nemesis currently the strongest weapon in the game, even at higher difficulty levels.
There are more exotics in The Division 2. Here’s a guide to the rifle:
The Elder Scrolls Online captivates its fans with a wealth of relevant content. This is why so many players remain loyal to the MMORPG and always return to Tamriel.
That’s why content is so important: If you ask any MMORPG fan about the most important aspect of an online role-playing game, the word “content” is sure to come up first. Without enough content, the fun quickly fades, and no one wants to do the same thing over and over.
However, content alone is not enough when only the latest expansion is relevant and worthwhile, while countless dungeons and areas from the game’s early days lie dormant.
This is why ESO is so popular
However, ESO does not have this problem. As a popular thread on Reddit shows, fans of ESO love that their game does not devalue old content when something new comes along, unlike most other older MMOs.
How does endgame work in many other MMORPGs? The reason for this development is that ESO approaches endgame differently than most MMORPGs. In games like WoW or SWTOR, new content is always tied to the progression of your hero.
Those who want to progress must reach the new level cap, grind new equipment, and generally evolve.
This devalues everything that was previously considered endgame and pushes it further back in relevance. After all, why would you spend your time in an area or instance where you can’t find any useful loot anymore, and the battles no longer pose a challenge?
Why is the old stuff in ESO still relevant? In ESO, however, the concept of “One Tamriel” has been in place since late 2016. This introduced scaling that adjusts your level to the instance or zone. This way, all players could play together, regardless of their level.
Furthermore, everyone could explore every zone without being forced, as before, to fester in a region suited to their level.
If everyone can go anywhere at any time and find relevant content and useful loot there, each region is equally valuable. So if you prefer to farm resources in the lands of the Elves rather than in the Wastes of the Orcs, you can do so without a second thought.
Similarly, trips to complete any missing achievements in a zone are not a waste of time, as you still receive XP and loot for them. XP is even worthwhile after reaching the max level, as then you receive champion levels and additional goodies.
However, even without top equipment and plenty of skills, you can still have fun in ESO and engage with almost all content.
This is what the fans say
The Reddit post also praises how “cozy” and “chill” ESO actually is. Because it does not force you to always chase the newest “carrot on a stick” in the form of new content.
This is what players love about the pace of ESO: Even the typical endgame content of MMORPGs, raids, do not create pressure for many players. One player writes on Reddit, “I’ve been playing for years and never did a trial [that’s what raids are called in ESO]. Veteran dungeons are enough for me. But I wouldn’t see it that way in any other MMO.”
Others appreciate how unexacting it is to just log into ESO and have a bit of fun. One player, who has a child and a somewhat uncomprehending wife, says he enjoys being able to have a few hours of fun in ESO when everyone is finally in bed.
He then simply plays a few rounds of random PvP!
Another player loves just casually completing the daily crafting tasks and then winding down the day in a dungeon.
However, this great strength of ESO is also its greatest weakness for some gamers. One player writes, “I returned to the game very late, and it’s just too much! There’s too much to do, and all that freedom completely paralyzes me!”
But according to most fans of the game, it is precisely this freedom that has kept players engaged for over 5 years.
As a result, ESO has recently seen a significant increase in players and is now more popular than ever. Now it even has queues during peak times because otherwise the servers would crash.

World of Warcraft is full of hidden references and secrets. We have compiled the best of these Easter Eggs for you here.
Hardly any other MMORPG has as many references to pop culture as World of Warcraft. This is hardly surprising, as with now 7 expansions, the developers have had plenty of time to include many references. We have picked the seven best Easter Eggs that you can still find in World of Warcraft today.
Kraes of Immersang
If you are wandering around the elf city of Silvermoon, you may have already met this NPC: Kraes of Immersang. His subtitle is <Self-Proclaimed Prince> and is a reference to all the cliché and strange role-playing that can often be found on RP servers in Silvermoon.
Kraes was not a “serious” role-player but a troll who satirically exaggerated other role-playing characters. He parodies all the players who turn their characters into very special heroes with dramatic backstories or include some fetishes in their character descriptions.
So it said in his flag (basically his character description):
“Since he was a young man, Kraes has been trained for hardly anything other than war. War with the Alliance. War with the Scourge. War with Joshua Fuesting.”
“Prince Kraes of Immersang is the heir to the Immersang Province of the Kingdom of Quel’thalas.”
“BDSM is fine, but whisper me first”
This should cover pretty much every role-playing cliché in a character. Anyone wanting to visit royalty should just stop by Silvermoon.
Xur’ios, the Merchant from Destiny
Not too long ago, players in the “Legion” expansion collected a strange currency that could only be exchanged with a specific merchant. In Dalaran stands the merchant Xur’ios, who had a rotating offer every day and sold toys or mounts.
Xur’ios, a clear Destiny reference.
Xur’ios is a reference to Xur in the game Destiny. Here, too, he was a merchant who had different rewards each week and often drove players crazy when the week’s yield did not meet their wishes.
Linken, the Guardian of Hyjal
Hardly any video game series is as well-known as the Zelda series from Nintendo. Besides the princess, the hero and main character Link is especially engrained in players’ memories. Blizzard apparently also enjoyed playing Zelda and immortalized Linken in World of Warcraft. During the daily mission “The Guardians of Hyjal”, he is one of the possible companions assigned to the player.
In Classic, you could even get Linken’s boomerang.
That this takes place near the World Tree is, of course, not surprising. After all, Link also had a close bond with the great Deku Tree in the Zelda games, which had to be protected from dark influences.
By the way, Linken also existed in the classic version of World of Warcraft and was a quest giver in the Un’goro Crater. However, with Cataclysm, this quest line disappeared, and he is now only rarely found in Hyjal. However, he is also present during the annual gnome race and cheers the participants from the side of the track.
The Horrifying Chickens of Stormsong Valley
We stay briefly in the Zelda universe, as there is another reference to the Nintendo series in the current expansion. In Stormsong Valley, you can find a farm far to the west where there are also many quests to complete.
It is noticeable here that there are a lot of moody chickens. Players should keep their distance from them, as if you attack them, all will become aggressive and chase down the player to kill them.
This is a reference to the Zelda game “Ocarina of Time”. In Kakariko Village, Link had to collect chickens. When he hit the chickens several times, they did not die but called for help. The result was a swarm of clucking chickens that attacked Link until he either perished or left the town.
Adele Rolls in the Depths
Musicians and other artists are also repeatedly immortalized in World of Warcraft. Representing the seemingly endless NPCs with clear names as references, we take the Pandaren Adele from the Tonlong Steppes. She is a direct reference to the artist Adele.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D0YP2Aw-SeI
However, what makes her so funny is another fact: Adele rolls around all day. She rolls around in the area “The Gaping Depth” without cease. A perfect reference to her hit single “Rolling in the Deep”.
An Energy Drink for Azeroth
But not only references to people but also to various products can be found, even in the current expansion Battle for Azeroth. In Tiragarde Sound you need to help the little Tortollan Joma get his father to ride. For this, he needs a “juice from eels” that is supposed to give his father an “energy boost”. The quest for this is called “Monstrous Energy” and is a clear reference to the drink “Monster Energy”.
Let’s just hope that the real energy drink is not made from pressed eels…
Waldorf and Statler
If you belong to the older generation, you surely know the Muppets. A recurring part of the series were the two characters Waldorf and Statler. The seniors always had something to criticize and were generally quite cynical, underpinning the events with comments.
Exactly these two have also been immortalized in World of Warcraft. Although here as a man and woman, but we won’t be picky. When you ride from Boralus to Tiragarde Sound, they sit on a bridge at night and throw some insults at the player as they pass under them. Would you like a few examples?
Statler: “[Player]!, Hey, [Player]! We have a quest for you! Waldorf: “Yeah, get yourself a barber!”
Waldorf: “Oi, Statler! Bring me my sword! One of those spikey boars is coming down the street!” Statler: “Waldorf, that’s not a spikey boar, that’s just one of those ‘heroes'”
Statler: “Oi! [Player]! Do you really think the helmet matches the shoes?” Waldorf: “I’ve seen horses with better transmogrifications.”
Be sure to stop by and let yourself be insulted as well.
These are just a few of the numerous Easter Eggs in World of Warcraft. What is your favorite? What references have you discovered?
The streamer Tfue is considered one of the best players in the world. xQc is known for his outbursts live on Twitch. When the two of them play together in Fortnite on Twitch, it’s an interesting mixture of anger, skill, and laughter. The joint stream was a highlight on Twitch.
Who are the two streamers?
Turner “Tfue” Tenney (22) is considered one of the best Fortnite players in the world. The American has also been one of the biggest streamers for a while: with over 5.7 million followers, he ranks 3rd.
Felix “xQc” Lengyel (23) is a variety streamer who gained fame primarily through Overwatch. The Canadian stands at 1.1 million followers, ranking 57th on Twitch. He is known for his outbursts live on stream.
xQc can get really heated – that’s his style.
What’s the appeal of the two? The two streamers played Fortnite together on Good Friday. Apparently, the chemistry between them was right, and the viewers loved the interaction.
Several scenes emerged from the joint stream that received a lot of attention:
Tfue is a pro in Fortnite whose gameplay continually impresses.
xQc is a strong shooter player but not as adept in this specific game as Tfue. Because at a high level in Fortnite, it’s all about building quickly, altering structures, or adjusting to new situations in a flash.
When both are playing, an interesting dynamic unfolds.

These scenes stood out: In one scene, xQc is cornered by an opponent and dies without a chance. To Tfue and the viewers, it seems as though xQc panics, is in the wrong mode, and dies in a really silly way.
But xQc immediately blames his keyboard and you can hear him loudly banging the keyboard on his desk, while Tfue is having a fit of laughter and sliding off his chair.

In the second scene, xQc watches his partner, Tfue. Tfue plays excellently in a 1v1 situation at the end of a match and wins the fight decisively, while xQc can hardly contain his amazement and celebrates his partner’s victory with a loud scream.
This is how others react: In general, the stream is perceived as super funny. More scenes are shared on Twitter, mostly consisting of xQc’s outbursts that become even funnier as Tfue laughs at them.

Possible Bundesliga Players in the TOTW 32
These Bundesliga players could make it:
Marco Reus could receive his third Inform card this week. Special cards of Marco Reus are very popular this year, so many FUT players would certainly appreciate another one. Especially since the prices of previous Inform cards would drop as a result.
These are the previous Informs of Reus
Niklas Süle had a great game against Bremen and scored the winning goal. If he makes it into the TOTW, he would receive his first Inform card.
Marcel Halstenberg impressed in the match against Mönchengladbach and even scored 2 goals. Not bad for a defender, so a spot in the TOTW would be quite deserved.
Marco Richter contributed 2 goals to the 6:0 victory over VfB Stuttgart, thus recommending himself for a place in the Team of the Week. It would be his first Inform card.
When will TOTW 32 be released? At 7 PM on April 24, Team of the Week 32 will be released. From then on, you can either pull the new Inform cards from packs or buy them on the transfer market.
Remember that the predictions are never 100% reliable. There may be significant differences from the actual TOTW from EA.

You can find out what content BioWare is planning for Anthem in the next few months in our roadmap:
Players in Final Fantasy XIV love to dress up. And sometimes really cool cosplays of characters from animes or other games result from this. We have compiled 10 of them for you.
There is a saying among FFXIV fans that goes “Glamour is the true endgame.” This basically means that players invest more time and money to make their characters look pretty than in actual raid content.
In fact, the saying is not wrong at all. FFXIV players have a lot of fun dressing up. And they manage to create really cool in-game cosplays.
The Mad Hatter must necessarily play a Mage job to wear the evening star hat. And the Queen must be a healer for the Swan Pride top. Otherwise, there are no job-specific restrictions.
Sailor Warrior and Tuxedo Mask
Sailor Moon cosplay by @RiaRavendiel on Twitter
What armor does the cosplay consist of? If you want to create your own Sailor Warrior or Tuxedo Mask, you need one of the following items:
The Sailor Warriors all wear the sailor shirt.
For shoes, the warriors can choose between bridal sandals, gambler’s boots, dragon leather boots, or noble shoes
For the head, one can take a Healing Circlet, a Bomber Headband, a King’s Crown, a Fairy Tale Princess Diadem, or a brass headband with a matching gemstone
Tuxedo Mask wears the hat of the Lost Thief and one of the three tops: Eternal Passion frock coat, Butler jacket, or Best Man jacket
For Queen Serenity, you need a spring dress, spring skirt, and the Fairy Tale Princess Diadem
Except for Tuxedo Mask, who must be a ranged fighter, there are no fixed restrictions regarding job selection.
Link and Zelda
What armor does the cosplay consist of? To recreate Link and Zelda cosplays in FFXIV, you do not have to be Lalafells. The following items are sufficient:
Link: Crescent-shaped cap, hemp tunic, any tights (cotton, hemp) and Dodore boots. Sword and shield are the anima weapons of the Paladin
Zelda: Fairy Tale Princess Diadem, Ao Dai (alternatively also Thavnair Bustier), Fairy Tale Princess Skirt, and Fairy Tale Princess Gloves
In order to equip a sword and shield, you obviously need to be a Paladin in FFXIV.
Dante from Devil May Cry
Image by Wilan Serulia from the official forums
What armor does the cosplay consist of? You can easily create the stylish DMC cosplay from the following items:
Top: Uræus coat
Gloves: Brawler’s gloves, gloves of the Nezha Lord, or any fingerless gloves
Pants: Any long pants such as Strife pants, Leonhart pants, Scholar pants, or wool trousers
To swing a great sword like Dante, you need to play a Dark Knight in FFXIV.
Twins from The Shining
What armor does the cosplay consist of? To effectively play this cosplay, your character must belong to the Lalafell race. Otherwise, you will need the following items:
Headgear: White Daisy hairpin
Top: Bridesmaid dress
Shoes: Maid pumps or alternative Quaintrelle patent shoes
There are no job-specific restrictions for this cosplay.
Bibi Blocksberg
Image by Neni Nani from server Lich
What armor does the cosplay consist of? As cute as this cosplay is, it is very simply constructed. You need:
Top: Scout shirt
Pants: Lalafell breeches
Any low shoes: Fury shoes, Scout boots, Dinosaur leather shoes
The mount is the witch broom
To replicate the cosplay accurately, you must be a Lalafell, because the pants can only be worn by this race. Alternatively, one might take the crescent knee pants.
Assassin’s Creed
What armor does the cosplay consist of? If you want to look like an Assassin in FFXIV, you need these items:
Hat: Mariden leather headpiece of scouting or smiting and double silk healing hood
Top: Kudzu tunic of scouting and Gazelle leather mantle of healing
Gloves: Sky rat grappling hook
Pants: Chimera belt skirt and double silk healing leggings
Shoes: Tiger leather knee boots of scouting and Gazelle leather boots of healing
For both cosplays, there are quite strict job restrictions. You must play either a Ninja, Monk, or a healer class to dress up as an Assassin.
Mario, Luigi, and Peach
What armor does the cosplay consist of? This cosplay is not difficult to recreate. The following items were used:
Peach wears the complete Fairy Tale Princess set
Mario and Luigi wear a leather cap, Anemos shirt with suspenders, Tantalus riding pants, and Dinosaur leather shoes, as well as gloves
There are no job-specific restrictions for these cosplays. However, not all races have Mario’s matching mustache.
Son Goku
Image by Tonrak Totorak from server Gilgamesh
What armor does the cosplay consist of? This cosplay is also not complicated and does not require items from the Moogle kiosk. You need:
Top: Beginner vest, hemp vest, or cotton vest
Gloves: Leather or buckskin wrist guards
Pants: Layman leggings, wool leggings
Shoes: Griffin leather battle boots or rain boots
There are no restrictions on job selection for the armor pieces, but let’s be honest: a Son Goku character should be a Monk.
Furthermore, the suitable hairstyle is exclusive to the male Au Ra race.
If you are currently waiting for the next expansion Shadowbringers, you can try out these cosplays.

Pagan Online has hit Early Access on Steam. MeinMMO author Benedict tested it for a few hours. Here is his first impression of the new action RPG from the makers of World of Tanks.
What is Pagan Online? Pagan Online is an action RPG in the style of Diablo. The story of Pagan Online is influenced by Slavic mythology, where you play as a fallen hero who returns to Earth for missions.
various game modes such as campaign, hunts, and assassinations in three difficulty levels
crafting
a social hub
After about six hours in the game, I was able to get my first impression of most of these features. The game is generally quite entertaining and fun, at least for a few rounds in between.
This article is a first impression of the game. Pagan Online is in Early Access and much can still change before the release. This is not a comprehensive review.

At the beginning of the game, one of three characters can be selected, each embodying a class:
Anya, a vampire lady and wizard
Kingewitch, a melee fighter and berserker
Istok, a tank with a shield
All other heroes must be earned through shards that are more or less difficult to obtain. The first new hero for most players is likely to be Lukian, whose shards drop abundantly in the first assassinations.
In the first assassination, there are already plenty of shards. With 30 shards, the hero is unlocked.
What I have noticed about the classes so far is that they play quite differently. As Anya, I rely on spells that only reveal their true power in the right combination and order.
I learn new skills with each level of my hero, but they are developed at a station in the Pantheon. This is a lengthy process, and after six hours, I haven’t even made it a quarter of the way through. This promises further depth and longer motivation, especially for all eight classes.
While this makes battles in Pagan Online feel much more intense, it’s also less intuitive than mouse control, as I know it from Diablo.
My vampire lady Anya has several spells.
I found it somewhat tiring at times, especially when movement skills react to my current walking direction rather than my cursor position. It takes a bit of work to get used to the combat system, especially if you’re used to other hack and slays.
The fights themselves are exciting, positioning and enemy control become important early on, and even the first boss fights are quite challenging. While I could easily take down the Butcher and Leoric in Diablo III, the “Abomination of Chernobog” nearly killed me. My first assassination even failed because I died.
Quite a bit happening in one of the first boss fights.
This is how the story is integrated
The story is the main driving force for the narrative in Pagan Online and is even mandatory for the early steps, as many features cannot be unlocked without it. The first mission gives me a preview of the endgame of my hero – and then kills him.
lntheon, into which I am welcomed, is a place for fallen heroes. As I encounter more NPCs there throughout the story, you can imagine how they ended up there over time.
Nirdalla, the only NPC who was already in the Pantheon before me.
The story explains that the gods have disappeared and my task is to find them or figure out what happened. An old man with a talking raven continually provides me with information.
All of this is a nice gimmick, but it also strains the enjoyment of the game a bit. I really like the story, but it is somewhat told in a tedious manner and is constantly interrupted by rather generic fights. I would prefer a bit more separation between storytelling, perhaps with cutscenes, and pure action.
The old man tells the story behind the missions.
What is the gameplay like?
What I have experienced so far is often monotonous. Between the coherent story being told, enemies repeatedly spawn in waves wanting to be defeated. Although the fights are fun, it becomes a bit tedious after the third battle with three waves each.
Additionally, there seem to be missing instructions. The old man tells me what I am supposed to do in the current mission. However, why I suddenly have something to do with a businessman to enter a temple, following him to defeat hordes of enemies, is not explained.
There is also a lack of a display indicating what or why I should do something. An arrow shows me where I need to go – or rather, where the next battle awaits. Enemies don’t simply appear; they spawn out of nowhere.
A yellow arrow as a target marker indicates the next point. But new enemies usually just spawn there.
There are also “challenges” that I can complete, but don’t have to. Tasks appear at the edge of the screen that I can tackle to earn more points. However, these have different triggers and it is not really explained when or what I should do. These challenges (like: “Don’t use healing or ability X”) are cool to make missions more challenging, but get lost in the mix.
This is not only the case in the campaign missions but also in assassinations and other missions. A short introductory text provides historical context, but a simple: “Go there and kill 200 enemies, then the boss” would be a better instruction for me.
Challenges are nice, but confusing.
The thing with the graphics …
Graphically, Pagan Online is simply not a beauty. Several MeinMMO readers have referred to Pagan Online’s graphics as “mobile game” graphics, and that kind of fits.
I personally don’t mind, because Pagan Online runs super smoothly and is simply fun to play. The skills are beautifully animated (bats suck the blood from my enemies and heal me with it!) and the world looks good.
I find good gameplay and a deep story more important than the best graphics, which is why I still enjoy Pagan Online even with this look. However, how important that is, everyone has to decide for themselves.

Currently, Pagan Online can only be played solo in the missions. I only encounter other players in the Pantheon, and their names appear on the leaderboards of the respective missions.
I still don’t know what to do with the other people who are also playing. It’s cool to have a social hub where I can see other heroes. But I can’t really recognize any actual benefit yet.
The Pantheon is sometimes very popular
Conclusion: Pagan Online is fun for a quick play
In a final word, I would describe Pagan Online as a very successful game for casual play. The gameplay and story are well done, the heroes are unique, and I find the wide selection very good.
I often feel like diving in and playing for half an hour or more. After one or two or three missions, however, it also feels good to turn to other things. For me, it’s a great game to simply disconnect from time to time.
The online RPG Anthem is currently treated worse than it deserves. At least that’s what the head of Star Citizen, Chris Roberts, thinks.
Anthem is arguably one of the most controversial games of 2019. Alongside many gameplay criticisms, revelations about working practices at BioWare also made headlines and cast a shadow on the game.
However, not everything is bad, and many things just need some improvement – at least that’s what Chris Roberts, the head behind the in-development game Star Citizen, says.
Chris Roberts
Where was that claimed? In an interview with Newsweek, Roberts talked about the development of Star Citizen and compared it with Anthem.
“I played it [Anthem]. So I know there’s a lot of good in it. Good things that work, but also some things that don’t work. (…) I hope that EA and BioWare don’t give up, pull their heads in, get to work and improve things so that they work.”
Chris Roberts
There are many games that are “completely ruined,” but that is not the case with Anthem.
Roberts compares Anthem with No Man’s Sky, which also received a lot of backlash due to the much higher expectations of the game. However, the team behind No Man’s Sky managed to turn things around. Now the perception has changed.
Roberts apparently believes that BioWare can achieve this with Anthem as well.
Anthem has the EA disadvantage: Another factor contributing to Anthem’s poor perception, according to Roberts, is EA’s reputation among gamers.
EA has the reputation for ruining things. Additionally, Mass Effect Andromeda felt like it was released too early.
Players now have the same feeling with Anthem.
Only the negative voices were loud: Roberts also views the debate on the harsh “Crunch Time” at BioWare, uncovered by Kotaku, rather critically. Only those who had a negative experience spoke up. There were surely many at BioWare who had a much more positive experience.
At Star Citizen, they aim to adhere to a 40-hour work week. Overall, the industry is making great strides here.
This is what Anthem needs to do now: Roberts believes that a game like Anthem needs to be revised over and over again to become good.
Most players do not understand how difficult it is to deliver something that runs flawlessly. There are things that work and others that do not. Destiny was also an ongoing process.
He draws parallels to his game Star Citizen: There it runs similarly.
In addition, Roberts wishes for Anthem to have a bit more and be a bit deeper. He wants the story and the lore to be somewhat more dynamic.
Apex Legends has had a major problem with hackers for some time now. However, this seems to be greater in some parts of the world than in Europe. Some fans attribute this to Chinese players and are calling for a regional lock for China.
Who wants to shut out the Chinese? The player Xenton wrote a long post on reddit, in which he again drew attention to the hacker problem. The thread quickly received over 3000 upvotes with about 97% approval. (As of: April 21)
In his post, Xenton explains that in the regions of Oceania (OCE) and Southeast Asia (SEA), the problem with hackers is particularly pronounced. Players from these regions, as well as those from North America and Japan, agree with the post.
This is the problem with the Chinese: Xenton sees the problem of hackers and cheaters, especially on PC, in China. He refers to his own experiences and cultural differences.
According to Xenton, who claims to have grown up in China, there is an extremely competitive mindset in China that drives the Chinese to always be “the best.” However, it is not only about being “better,” but especially about standing out from others. The others must be worse.
If you can hack and the game doesn’t stop you, you should hack. If the developers didn’t want you to hack, they would have closed the holes in their program or banned you outright. It is their responsibility to stop hackers. Otherwise, it’s my right to hack.
How do the Chinese ruin Apex Legends? In Apex Legends, this leads to increasingly loud complaints about hackers, especially on PC. Since players can also manually select their region, this is particularly critical in Oceania and Southeast Asia.
Here, Chinese hackers are rampant, as they do not want to do this on their home server in China and because they still have a somewhat acceptable ping there.
However, since both OCE and SEA have very few players, it results in encountering a Chinese hacker in every second to fifth game.
The regular players thus have less and less motivation to play. Games like PUBG, H1Z1, and Day-Z have already become unplayable in these regions. One might wait over five hours and find no full game.
Chinese hackers apparently enjoy hunting on other servers.
According to Xenton, the problem is not only hacks but also “teaming”.
He describes “teaming” as the collaboration of Chinese players who do not play together in a team. This way, they can form teams beyond the actual squad size of three players and win battles and games through overwhelming numbers, causing the “foreigners” to lose.
This is how to counter it: As a solution, players see a regional lock, similar to the one already implemented in genre peer PUBG. Players want to exclude the Chinese from playing on OCE and SEA servers.
However, since these regional locks can be bypassed through a VPN (virtual network to simulate a different location), a “ping lock” could be an alternative. Players with too high a ping would then not be allowed to participate.
In Destiny 2, there are now indications that we players play a role in the story of Destiny 2. The most mysterious figures in Destiny 2 refer to us gamers as people who can “leave the game”. Does Destiny 2 break the fourth wall?
What is the fourth wall? The 4th wall is the wall through which we watch characters in a fictional world, like the screen of our television or the stage in the theater.
Breaking the “fourth wall” refers to when characters in a fictional work (a movie or a video game) speak directly to the viewer and signal to them that they are aware of their existence.
When they break the 4th wall, the characters are aware that they are just made up and that there is another, “real level” on the other side of the screen.
Players are now finding clues that Destiny 2 does something like this or at least plays with this idea.
Are the Nine and the Emissary talking about us?
This is the clue: In the latest dialogue between “the Nine” and the “Emissary”, the characters apparently speak about us, the player.
The Emissary says: No one is like him, he has abilities that the Nine would not believe. He can leave this place.
The Nine respond that they could leave the level as well.
Then the Emissary says: “Think bigger, he can leave the game.”
But that seems to be too much for the Nine.
If the player plays as a Guardian, it means at that point, “No one is like her. She can leave the game.”
This makes it clear that the Emissary is speaking of the player character.

A Guardian says: On reddit, Guardian BC1096, who is thrilled by the lore, inferred from the scene that what he has been suspecting all along must be true.
In his view, the Hive and the powerful Ahamkara in the game know that they are just part of a game and that the player is practically “God” in this world, which exists solely for their enjoyment.
Since the release of Destiny, players have been waiting for a “twist” that turns the story on its head. Until now, it was often thought that the twist would be “We are actually the bad ones.”
He has already inferred this from scattered lore hints and sees it confirmed in the latest dialogue.
Riven, evil Ahamkara lady
Therefore, the mythical Ahamkara would strive to leave the game and become existences in the reality of the players. Thus, Ahamkara Riven is glad when players defeat her in Destiny 2 because she “becomes more real” through the fight with the players – after all, she occupies people in the real world and thereby has influence.
So she also says, “she is now part of you,” after being defeated.
The user further spins his theory and explains game mechanics in Destiny 2 with this logic:
“the Darkness” would be the server end
our “real world” is actually a Throne World
the other timelines Osiris speaks of are merely the “Destiny 2 games” that other gamers are currently playing
Why are players gods? According to this logic, we players in Destiny 2 are invincible. We could wipe 2000 times and still be alive. We will always win because we cannot lose, the user explains on reddit.
Even if you delete your character and reinstall the game, you have still won because you have also deleted all the enemies Destiny 2 could ever throw at you.
Always trouble with space dragons
There are these hints as well: In fact, some Guardians have turned to this theory for a while now and found hints that Destiny 2 is winking at the player.
It is said in the lore description of the exotic helmet “Skull of Dire Ahamkara” (via db.destinytracker):
All I know is that YOU are not an illusion. Understood? This world around you, the people you meet, it’s all a bit little, isn’t it? Cardboard and drywall. Cheap theater. Come on, try it! Say “I am more real than that!” Feels good, doesn’t it? “I am the only real person here.” And suddenly their insults and weapons … feel soft. I am here because of you.
Just because of you, because you are special. And together we can burn our way back. What do you say, oh my player?

What’s behind this: The question is whether Destiny 2 is actually pursuing such an obscure idea or if this is simply small gags and a wink from the developers.
Some players seem to enjoy the idea of being gods.
Since the release of Destiny, players have been waiting for a “twist” that turns the story on its head. Until now, it was often thought that the twist would be “We are actually the bad ones.”
The 4th generation in Pokémon GO has been around for about half a year now, but there are still missing Pokémon. This includes the best Pokémon of this generation.
What is the best Pokémon from Gen 4? Krookodile, a Ground and Dragon-type Pokémon, is still missing. It is essentially the Dragonite or Salamence of the 4th generation, only better and also a Ground-type.
The Pokémon is one of the 18 Pokémon from the 4th generation that are not legendary or mythical and are still missing.
We will tell you what makes this Pokémon so strong and why you should definitely have it.
Krookodile’s strength in Pokémon GO
How to get Krookodile: The Pokémon evolves from Sandile and Krokorok. These Pokémon are logically also still missing and will likely be quite rare in the wild.
This is Krookodile
What can Krookodile do? To give you an overview of Krookodile, here are its stats:
Maximum CP: 3962
Attack: 261
Defense: 193
HP: 239
What do the stats tell us? Based purely on CP, Krookodile is the strongest non-legendary Pokémon in the game. Slaking is the exception here, but this Pokémon is completely useless in battle since it has a fast move that deals no damage.
Its attack value is among the top 20, and its other stats allow Krookodile to withstand plenty of damage.
This image announced the 4th generation in the game – No sign of Krookodile
What makes Krookodile so strong: When considering Krookodile as a pure Ground or Dragon attacker, it is very strong, but there are some alternatives.
However, since it has solid attacks for both types and can deal good damage, Krookodile is very important and powerful.
Is it the best Pokémon of the 4th generation? What the strongest Pokémon in the game is, is a matter of interpretation. In terms of usefulness, Krookodile ranks very high, as it can be effectively used with its types and also serves as a good all-rounder.
There are some legendary Pokémon in the 4th generation, but none of them really stands out. Among the non-legendary Pokémon, while Rampardos is already a very strong Pokémon in the game, it is only a Rock-type. Krookodile has two important types.
Rampardos is also a strong Pokémon, but Krookodile could become even more useful
In The Division 2, the PvP is still dormant a month after release. However, that is expected to change. Massive apparently wants to make the PvP zone “Dark Zone” more attractive with better loot. There are also many changes to the PvP planned in the next update.
This is how the Dark Zone is intended: Originally in Part 1, the “Dark Zone” was supposed to be a central unique feature of The Division.
Players fight in the Dark Zone against NPCs and other players. They loot “contaminated loot” and must secure it to use it. However, the loot can be stolen by other players.
In “The Division 1”, the Dark Zone was quite a controversial topic at the beginning. Frustration was almost guaranteed when good loot was stolen by so-called friends who went “Rogue” and became enemies.
In the first presentations, Massive advertised this “Adrenaline and Betrayal” zone. It shaped the image of The Division.
This is the problem with the Dark Zone in The Division 2: In The Division 2, the PvP has not yet made waves. Hardly anyone is talking about the Dark Zone:
Generally, it is said that the new Dark Zones, there are now several, are simply too empty. People can walk around in the Dark Zone forever without encountering human opponents.
The PvP is considered poorly balanced. With strong DPS builds, players can kill others without them knowing what hit them. Spoiler alert: It was usually a bullet from a sniper rifle.
This is how Massive wants to strengthen the Dark Zone now: In the State of the Game, Massive presented changes to the Dark Zone that are supposed to go live soon. Currently, the changes are being tested on the test server, which will be active until May 2, but is only accessible to PC players:
In the Dark Zone, gear with an item level of up to 515 will drop, which is stronger than what is normally available (up to 500) – except in the raid when it comes
furthermore, the item level of all players will be normalized to 500 – weaker players will go up, stronger ones down
the damage in the Dark Zone will decrease significantly, the modifier will drop from 70% to 40% – also the weapon types have been specifically adjusted for PvP
players will deal less damage when firing from the hip: The damage bonus for critical hits and headshot hits will be removed
They want to make the “Thieves Den” more attractive so that players can find special ammo there when they switch their weapons
there should be more contaminated loot and fewer patrols
Landmarks should have a cooldown so players do not farm the same ones all the time and move more
the NPCs should deal less damage and be able to take a bit more
This is the big solution: Massive wants to reduce the number of “Dark Zone” brackets to two to bring more players into the Dark Zone:
All players between 1 and 30 will play together
and all players who are already in the world rankings will be assigned to another Dark Zone bracket
This is supposed to ensure that there are 12 people in the Dark Zone.
In the long term, further changes for the Dark Zone in The Division 2 are planned.
This is what it’s about: Apparently, the Dark Zone in The Division 2 is not functioning as planned at all. Massive seems dissatisfied with the current state. Therefore, the changes are profound.
We will report in the coming days how PC players are receiving the “new Dark Zone” on the test server.
Currently, Massive is planning numerous changes in the upcoming patches. It seems like they are going to overhaul half the game.
