On the test server of Teamfight Tactics, four new champions can be tested since yesterday. They come with a new origin and also bring new mechanics to the game.
Who are the four new champions? The four new champions that you can currently test are:
Camille
Jayce
Vi
Jinx
They come with the origin “Hextech”. All four have different classes and different costs. They are supposed to bring a bit of momentum into the meta, which has only recently been loosened by a new patch.
What can Hextech do? The Hextech origin disables the enemy’s items. If you have two Hextech champions, two items are disabled. If you have all four, four items are removed from the game.
Currently, a random enemy champion with items is chosen, and then the item itself is selected. This item is removed from the game for six seconds at the beginning of the round but will be available again afterward.
The developers have already stated that the exact mechanics of Hextech are not set in stone and may still change. We also do not know how the interaction with the forces of nature looks.
When will the changes be implemented? The four new champions arrived on Wednesday on the PBE. If all tests are successful, they could be implemented with Patch 9.16 in two weeks, on August 14.
Will Jinx be the new hard carry?
What can the new champions do? In a forum post, the developers have already released a lot of information about the champions. Besides their origin, we also know everything about their classes, abilities, and costs.
Especially Jinx sounds very interesting in this context because she could have the potential to win games on her own.
Ability: Hextech Ultimatum – Camille binds the currently targeted enemy to their position. Allies in range of the target will also attack Camille’s target.
Meta: The idea behind the champion is that Camille selects an enemy and takes them out of the game strategically. Riot is curious about how the possibility of indirectly controlling the AI in combat will be received by players.
Jayce
2 Gold
Class: Shapeshifter
Ability: Thundering Blow + Transform Mercury Cannon – Launches the target back and then switches to ranged combat. Gains maximum attack speed for a few attacks.
Idea: Jayce is supposed to break through the enemy’s frontline at the start. Additionally, the shapeshift only requires 50 mana, which is very low.
Vi
3 Gold
Class: Brawler
Ability: Assault and Battery – Vi targets the furthest enemy, jumps to them, knocks away all in her path, and sends the target into the air.
Idea: Vi is supposed to take out a target in the backline, but unlike assassins, she does not do it immediately, but once she has gathered enough mana.
Jinx
4 Gold
Class: Gunslinger
Ability: Get Excited – Jinx becomes more excited the more enemies she defeats. After the first kill, she gains attack speed. After the second, she pulls out Fishbones, and her auto attacks deal AoE damage.
Idea: Due to Miss Fortune’s strong ultimate, Jinx cannot become the primary DPS gunslinger. Instead, Jinx is supposed to deal AoE damage with her auto attacks, directly hitting several targets in contrast to Draven. But beware: Jinx is extremely squishy and easy to take down!
Teamfight Tactics will officially become a permanent game mode
What else has Riot Games announced? Along with the announcement of the four new champions, it was also confirmed that Teamfight Tactics will become a permanent game mode. Seasons, patches, and many expansions are planned for the future.
Although the mode is still in beta, this news shouldn’t surprise anyone after the huge success of TFT.
Our editor-in-chief Schuhmann has become particularly fond of one game this summer. He tells you why:
Today there is a big reveal about the multiplayer of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Find out here why you shouldn’t miss it and what could be included.
When does it start? Today, on August 1, 2019, you can watch the first reveal of the upcoming multiplayer content of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare live on the Modern Warfare Twitch channel. The schedule is as follows:
7:00 PM:
Pre-Show, also showing the multiplayer trailer for the first time
7:30 PM: Gameplay livestream
11:00 PM: Post-Show
Update: Here is the new multiplayer trailer for Modern Warfare:
What could be seen in the stream? So far there are several rumors about unconfirmed multiplayer content. A major aspect is the battle royale mode and the large open map. Leakers have already collected and revealed several plausible hints.
Fans are therefore expecting that the developers will finally clarify the official status of the battle royale and open world modes in the reveal. Additionally, more info is expected about the following multiplayer features:
In Destiny 2, you can discover a lot in the European Air Zone, EAZ: including prismatic possessed and a secret room. We will show you how to find the secrets of the EAZ.
This is how you get into the EAZ: “EAZ” is the abbreviation for the European Air Zone. This is a new area and also a fresh player search activity that was introduced with the Solstice of Heroes in Destiny 2.
You start the EAZ via a symbol on the Tower map or directly at the statue of the Heroes, which is currently located in the Tower courtyard.
In the EAZ, you need to kill as many mini-bosses as possible, then hit the big boss enemies, and finally search for chests. However, you will also find more there: such as prismatic possessed and a secret room.
Locations and Rewards of the Prismatic Possessed
This is how you find the possessed in the EAZ: The prismatic possessed usually spawn during the boss phase in the EAZ. Text appears on the left side of the screen: “Defeat Prismatic Possessed that are hiding near xy.” You have to search for the enemies first.
When you are near them, a symbol for a public event will be displayed:
Since this event is time-limited (around 2 minutes), you have to hurry to find the possessed.
The possible locations:
Ruins: From the spawn point, the ruins are located in the back, right corner of the map. So, run across the entire map and keep to the right. Next to a possessed boss, there are also small possessed enemies. In this video, you can see the prismatic possessed in the ruins:
https://youtu.be/5ruklJKSGMg
Factory: The factory is located at the far back in a central position on the map. The boss usually spawns inside on the ground floor.
Garage: This is located on the right side of the map quite close to the spawn point. The boss usually appears on the roof.
Shopping mall: You can find this on the left side. The boss usually stands on the roof connected to the large red building.
By the way: Your location is always shown on the left half of the screen. It’s worth exploring the map a bit and getting familiar with it so you can quickly get from one place to another.
What do you get out of it?
What are the rewards for the kill? Many guardians are currently wondering what it brings to kill the prismatic possessed. At the moment, the answer is: not much.
You will receive a large sphere marked with a star symbol. If you pick it up, you immediately get a Empowered buff that you usually only get when you pick up 30 small elemental charges. Your previously collected elemental charges will not be consumed when you pick up the large sphere:
According to user reports, it has also been the case that the boss drops extra loot. However, this is not guaranteed.
What other “benefits” the prismatic possessed have is still unknown. They may also be related to a secret room that has been found in the EAZ.
Secret Room with Cat
This is how you get into the secret EAZ room: Jump from the spawn point to a rock ledge located on the lower left-hand side of the wall. From there, you will enter a cave. You will soon come across a gate blocking your way.
It’s best to watch the exact path in the video:

The exclusive attack for Gardevoir and Gallade for the Community Day with Trasla in Pokémon GO is known. This way they can both learn the psychic attack Synchronoise.
Niantic announced: As usual on the Wednesday evening before the Community Day, Niantic revealed the exclusive attack for the event.
This time it should surprise many players, as Synchronoise is a completely new attack being introduced to the game. It is a psychic-type attack, and both final evolutions, Gardevoir and Gallade, can learn the move.
Here you can see all the information about the event at a glance
What do we know so far about Synchronoise for the Community Day in August?
Are the values already known? The values for the attack are not yet known, as the attack itself has not yet been found in the game files.
It will likely be added just before the Community Day, which is why nothing can be said about its strength yet.
What are players speculating? Currently, there is a lot of speculation about the move. Many trainers on Reddit are sure that Synchronoise must be a strong move, so that Gardevoir and Gallade can compete with other Pokémon.
They also recall that Community Day attacks have mostly been strong and significantly improved the Pokémon.
In addition to the move, there are also many Shinies during the Community Day
How to get the attack? Synchronoise is exclusive to the Community Day. You need to evolve a Kirlia on Saturday, August 3rd, between 4 PM and 8 PM. Only then will the final evolution learn the exclusive attack.
Outside the Community Day and also with TMs, you cannot teach Synchronoise to any Pokémon.
What do you think? Could Synchronoise actually be strong?
At the beginning of the new Season 10 in Fortnite, the servers will be taken down today on all platforms (PC/Mac, Xbox One, PS4, Switch, iOS, Android). How long will the maintenance last? When will the patch be released? MeinMMO has the answers!
Update: The patch notes are now available. Here you will find everything about the new features and which items will be removed.
What is happening today in Fortnite? Fortnite is launching its tenth season today. Numerous events and teasers have already announced the new season, but specifics are still unknown. At least you can already watch the first trailer.
But before you can dive into the chaos, you must go through the obligatory maintenance.
Source: Fortnite Insider
Fortnite servers going down – when and how long?
When will the maintenance begin? At 09:30 AM German time, you will have the last opportunity to start a game. At 10 AM German time, it will no longer be possible to start a game. The servers will then be gone.
How long will the servers be down? Since this is a new season with presumably larger map changes, the maintenance will likely take longer than usual. However, it should be completed by early afternoon.
How big will the update be? The exact size is not known, but Epic has already announced via Twitter that you should expect a larger patch than usual.
The patch notes should be available on MeinMMO shortly after the maintenance starts, as usual. You will also find out here if there are any technical problems during the maintenance.
What’s included in the new update 10.0
What does the update bring for the Battle Royale mode? The new Season 10 (Season X) is likely to evoke nostalgia for some players. Because presumably a long-destroyed area is coming back. Overall, the theme of the new season seems to revolve around time travel. In the latest trailer, a mech is shown that you can control.
Currently, only speculation is possible regarding the exact map changes as well as changes in transportation or new and old weapons.
What does the new season bring for Save the World mode? Not much is known yet about the new season, but a major innovation will be the locker that allows you to use purchases made in Battle Royale mode in PvE mode as well.
We will learn about further changes to the game modes with the patch notes.

Fortnite: Battle Royale has a new champion with Bugha. The 16-year-old winner of the solo world championship has gained not only 3 million in prize money but also followers on YouTube, Twitch, and Twitter. However, he will have to pay a significant amount to the tax office.
But almost more valuable is the publicity he received through his performance in the tournament. His followers in streaming and social media have developed as follows since July 15:
Twitch: 58,000 to over 204,000 followers
YouTube: 34,000 to over 372,000 followers
Twitter: 20,000 to over 291,000 followers
Is that a lot? With these numbers, Bugha still cannot compare himself with streaming stars like Ninja (over 14 million Twitch followers) or Tfue (over 6 million followers on Twitch).
The first Fortnite world champion in solo: Bugha.
Nevertheless, his newly gained viewers are a good start, and it certainly won’t be long before Bugha is offered some juicy sponsorship deals.
Then his new fame on Twitch and others could prove to be more valuable than the 3 million dollars in prize money.
Taxes take a large part of the prize money
What can Bugha actually keep from his winnings? 3 million US dollars is an enormous prize, but it doesn’t come without a cost. Like all citizens, Bugha has to pay taxes. This starts with the fact that the city of New York, where the tournament took place, demands a tax on winnings of 8.82 percent.
That’s $264,600 that will already go away. Overall, New York is probably quite happy about the many prize funds from the Fortnite World Cup right now.
But that’s not all; according to a calculation by Dexerto, Bugha with his 3 million probably falls under the US top tax rate and has to pay another 39.4% in taxes. That’s another $1,182,000.
In total, about $1,446,600 in taxes will probably be due, which is almost half of the total winnings. But if Bugha doesn’t plan to squander everything, the remaining dollars should still be enough to lead a carefree life for the time being.
A streamer has uploaded pictures of a pretty young woman on her social channels throughout her career. However, she always streamed with her face hidden. A glitch revealed her face, showing her as a middle-aged woman.
This is about the streamer: It is about the Chinese woman “Your Highness Qiaobiluo.” On the Chinese streaming platform DouYu – roughly the Chinese counterpart to Twitch and Instagram – she frequently showed pictures of a young woman.
The streamer’s channel grew to about 130,000 followers. According to reports, she even met fans for 100,000 Yuan (Note: about 13,000 Euros. Via Kotaku).
During her streams, she usually hid her face. Either by keeping it out of the picture, or by covering it with an animation.
In a few streams, she was also seen with her face. However, these were probably filters that changed her appearance.
Glitch reveals true face
This is how the streamer was exposed: During a joint stream with the vlogger Qingzi, the masquerade fell apart. “Your Highness Qiaobiluo” stated that she would show her face once she received gifts worth 100,000 Yuan. After all, she is a “good-looking host.”
Her fans donated eagerly, but during the stream, the graphic that had covered “Your Highness Qiaobiluo”’s face suddenly disappeared. A woman appeared who, according to Global News, is said to be about 58 years old.
Your Highness Qiaobiluo (right) with Qingzi (left).
However, she only noticed the mistake when many viewers suddenly left the stream.
This is how it went for the streamer: The incident was picked up by the Chinese media and made it into the news there. “Your Highness Qiaobiluo” was accused of deception by her fans and labeled a fraudster.
Many of her donors received comments from other users, stating that it was their own fault for donating so much money to someone. It is not uncommon for streamers to beautify their appearance or use filters. But to be successful, you need more than just good looks.
For “Your Highness Qiaobiluo,” however, this story was more of an advantage. Her channel grew to over 650,000 followers, and she is the most searched streamer on DouYu. After a short break, she is now streaming again. She has now been nicknamed “Granny” by her fans and plans to start rapping.
In the “West,” a strange phenomenon is currently sweeping through the streaming world:
Actually, Fortnite just released the last teaser for Season 10, but Brazilian players apparently already saw the complete trailer for the new season. Epic gave in and released the official trailer the evening before the start of Season 10.
Update 31.07.2019 18:00 Uhr: Since the situation after the leak seems irreparable and the whole world knows the video, Epic had to act quickly. Therefore, the complete video has now been officially released on Epic’s Twitter account.

Original report: Epic uploaded the last teaser for Season 10 via Twitter. There you can see how the mysterious orb explodes over Loot Lake and takes the popular skin Jonesy with it. But that 27s where the teaser ends.

How credible is this? After all, the trailer was found on an official Fortnite account. If this were a fake, someone would have had to put in a lot of effort.
Nevertheless, it should be treated with caution, as the trailer is no longer officially available anywhere.
What does the trailer show? The clip is a kind of time-traveling journey of skin Jonesy. He flies through a world where many familiar things from past seasons can be found.
In the end, Jonesy lands back in the Fortnite world, but it seems to have changed. In front of him stands Dusty Depot, which was shown in a previous teaser.
Dusty Depot was already shown in another teaser
What is suspected now? It looks like Season 10 will take place in the past and Dusty Depot from Season 3 will play a role again.
When will there be more info? Season 10 starts tomorrow, on August 1st. The trailer for the season will also be officially presented then and we will learn more about the topic.
What do you think? Would the trailer for Season 10 fit?
The Twitch streamer Tfue was probably the most famous participant in the Fortnite World Championship. Upon his return to Twitch, he talks about a lost kill.
Tfue was one of the participants in the Solo World Championship in Fortnite last weekend. There he sat with 99 other players and competed for the trophy.
Tfue did poorly, finishing in 67th place. However, in a stream, he revealed that he could have at least one more kill. This was taken from him by the loud commentator.
What was Tfue’s problem at the World Championship?
This is what the streamer says: Tfue refers to the start of a round. There he landed in The Block and had very strong loot within a short time.
The two commentators DrLupo and CouRageJD are said to have commented so loudly that his teammate heard this and fled from The Block.

This is what the streamer says: “It’s early in the game and I land in The Block and gear up at a chest. I got good loot. A teammate lands next to me. Then a commentator yells into the microphone, ‘Tfue is in The Block with full shield, a SCAR, and a shotgun.’ All you see is the other guy jumping over a wall and getting away. He clearly heard it.”
How can that be? Tfue explains that the sound in the stadium was simply ridiculously loud. While the players all wore headphones that blocked out outside noise, the commentators were too loud.
The streamer claims he heard them, so any other player could have heard the commentators as well.
Is the story true? We are embedding a Twitch stream here that shows exactly this clip:

Here you can already see that the other player, named “clipnode”, leaves after the commentator’s announcement. However, it remains questionable whether he actually heard it or just wanted to move on anyway.
What do you think? Could Tfue actually have been disadvantaged because of this? After all, he did have strong weapons and would have had a good chance in a 1 against 1.
We are finally starting the relaunch of our site Mein-MMO.de, which we built based on your feedback. In our article about the relaunch, MeinMMO chief Dawid Hallmann explains what the relaunch is all about and how you can customize “MeinMMO” to suit your needs.
Please note that this is an open beta that should end in 2 weeks.
Update on 10.08.2019
We have noted some data in an internal presentation. You might be interested as well:
In summary, all data has actually gone in a positive direction. You discover more, read much more from the new homepage, and you stay longer on the site. The left column is also used very frequently, as can be seen from the heatmap. We also had a record yesterday for the usage of these subpages. And the bounce rate has even consistently gone below 30% in the last few days (which means you view more pages from the homepage). For example, yesterday it was 28.69%, which makes a significant difference. The homepage is suddenly much more important for us.
Don’t feel that way? Then feel free to give us feedback or simply use the classic version. We will take a look at it. The next update is expected in September because our programmer is on vacation and currently focused on gamescom. We still have a lot to improve, and every opinion is welcome!
Update on 31.07.2019
The site is back online. We were able to resolve the issue with Google.
In the last few days, we have also adjusted the mobile design a bit so that it should now look even clearer
In the desktop variant, you can now also open the menu at the article level using a burger icon in the top right (we saw back then that quite a few used it and told us that they absolutely want to use this menu again in articles).
Update on 25.07.2019
We will run the new homepage in “Beta” in the navigation for the next few days. We have discovered a technical problem that is causing issues with Google. We already know the solution, but the fix will take a few days.
Update on 24.07.2019
Thank you very much for the great feedback so far. We are working hard behind the scenes and absorbing everything you say and what our data shows. A small excerpt of the changes:
We have removed navigation at the post level, even though it was used quite intensively by some. It simply looked too cramped over 3 columns. However, we have gained many interesting insights and will keep it in mind for the future. We still plan to remove the right sidebar to have more space.
Those who still insist on the layout of the old site will feel most comfortable under “News” because the feed is structured chronologically. Alternatively, you can also simply visit the vanilla version at the following link: Old homepage (we call it Classic!).
Many bugs have been fixed (there were some broken redirects, so you couldn’t always access the individual sections on the left; or the menu was only partially displayed on mobile)
If you check this post under “How to give feedback”, a link to a Google feedback file is also provided. There you can see the progress and responses to your reports, which you can still enter there
What the goals were and what we wanted to achieve
A better performance through new technology – pages are loaded immediately without waiting time
A personalized environment that invites browsing – a wish that you have been bringing to us very frequently lately
A solution for posts on the homepage that quickly disappear because they are pushed down by newer ones. This led in recent months to MMORPG news being displaced within hours by Pokémon GO, Fortnite, and Destiny. The previous homepage we had for years was designed for 15 posts a day – not for over 40. Therefore, the old homepage often couldn’t even show all the posts that had been released on the same day
Like an app?! The best possible substitute for the missing mobile app that is often wished for
What features should I try out?
You can now really make “MeinMMO” your “MeinMMO”. It is possible to customize your own feed and even create a menu according to your preferences! Those who do not want to use these features can also ignore them.
A tip if you only want the chronological variant: You can find this on the left under “News”. There you can set the page just like it was before.
Feature number 1: Your own menu.
You can now build your own menu. It is easiest if you select the topic in the favorites and click on the burger icon with the plus to add it to the navigation. However, you will also see this icon within the topics and can activate the menu item from there. This also applies to the star, which we will explain in the next step.
If you’re missing a game in the navigation? No problem, you can design the page according to your taste.
Feature number 2: Your own feed.
If you want to customize your own feed that appears on the homepage and under “For me”, simply click on the stars in “Favorites”. Of course, only for the topics that interest you.
Step 1: Search for your favorite topics.
And that’s it for your own home on “MEINMMO”. And did you see that you can also display this feed as you prefer? Try out the buttons on the right above the posts.
Step 2: Regularly visit “For me”.
Feature number 3: The bookmarks
Don’t have time to read an interesting article right now or want a guide at hand? Then set bookmarks that you can find in the corresponding area. The typical symbol for it will be visible on all posts. Just click, and the rest is done by the site.
Otherwise, there are many smaller changes that you will discover, which don’t need explanation.
What to consider
The new homepage is a beta and a living object! In the coming weeks, a larger list of little things will still be processed.
In the closed beta, there were frequent requests to be able to exclude other topics throughout the site. We are working on this feature to add it. But it will take a little longer.
The sidebar currently does not have the final design but will be adjusted soon.
If the new homepage seems a bit cramped to you when you are in an article: Mid-term, we want to remove the sidebar, that is, the separate area on the right. Our data shows: Actually, none of you click on that. Unfortunately, making the page simply wider is not an option because it would destroy our ad network, which includes GameStar. The site is already wider compared to before.
The menu at the top header on the homepage will still be adjusted – we plan to integrate a dynamic search seamlessly into the current homepage that doesn’t disrupt the flow.
The rest of the site should be completely switched to the new technology by early 2020, which significantly reduces loading times.
Starting in September, we will also tackle community features: the editor and options for user reviews will be improved, we are internally considering our own, more extensive commenting system, a dark mode will come, and much more…
By the way, you do not necessarily have to be logged in to set bookmarks or define your area. This also works via cookies. However, if you want it to work across devices and the settings to be saved, you should log in via the MeinMMO account system.
But don’t be confused by that. Just give feedback and let us know what you notice.
Your suggestions and criticisms will be immediately incorporated into our relaunch plan. We cannot promise that everything will be finished by August, but we will be able to address many of them. By the way, we respond to your requests in the document and also internally determine when we would want to tackle them. That will be visible to you!
A survey will also be coming soon, but we are planning that for tomorrow or later in the day when you have delved into the site more. Please comment until then.
And if possible: Please also use the site on mobile! It is very important to us that it provides a good experience for you on smartphones.
The work on the new site started in early 2019. At the end of 2018, we recognized more and more problems that were associated with the old homepage:
According to our data, hardly anything was discovered, little was browsed, and a lot was missed.
Complaints that topics were absent and that people were only actually interested in 2-3 games, which irritates them because of others, also increased.
Some felt that “their topics” were being drowned out and displaced by topics they had a deep aversion to.
We were inspired by the community app StockTwits, the front page of the internet Reddit, and the popular aggregator Google News and quickly recognized the idea for a page that could fit our “close-to-the-games-and-community concept”. And then everything took its course.
It was very important for us to work with the community on this. Therefore, we shared early design drafts on Discord, Facebook, and other platforms to gather feedback.
It became even more intense about 2 weeks ago when we started a large beta test on our Discord channel. We received many suggestions in this last sprint and were able to adapt most of it to your wishes. Only a few desired features are still missing, which will arrive in the coming weeks.
At this point, I would like to thank the entire team at Mein-MMO.de and also you, our loyal readers and those who want to be, for the great collaboration.
And above all, a big thank you to our developer Ben, the entire dev team around Steffi, and our designer Jakob. They put a lot of energy and passion into the project. If I could show you the chats, you would know what I mean by passion!
An insider at Asus confirms that the manufacturer is working on new X590 motherboards. Additionally, there are increasing indications of a possible X599 chipset. This is also produced by Asus.
Since early July, there are X570 motherboards from AMD with the Ryzen 3000 series. Since then, media and gamers have been discussing a potential X590 board. Now there are first solid hints that an insider from the site Videocards.com is said to have revealed.
What information is available about X590?
Where does the information come from? The information comes from Videocardz.com. Asus internally confirmed to employees the production of X590 motherboards. This is a good indication that X590 motherboards exist.
These are the X590 motherboards from Asus: Two X590 motherboards named by Videocardz are the Prime X590-Pro and the ROG Strix X590-E. Internal documents name the models, the information is available to Videocardz.
Is there also an X599 motherboard from Asus? Additionally, there is information about an X599 board, which is also being developed at Asus. It is the Asus Zenith II Extreme, the successor to the Zenith I, which is still based on the X399 chipset.

What do we generally know about X590 boards?
Currently, there is little information on X590 motherboards. In the Computerbase forum, a user was the first to point out an X590 board in the BIOS code. With the insider information from Videocardz, the hints that X590 boards could be planned are now solidifying.
The hint about X590 models in the Computerbase forum, Source: Computerbase
Are there more active PCIe lanes than X570 motherboards? Currently, it is suspected that X590 motherboards could offer more PCIe 4.0 lanes. The X570 provides 16 PCIe lanes and four for the uplink to the processor. However, the Ryzen 3000 series offers 24 PCIe 4.0 lanes. So far, the X570 motherboard does not use all of the processor’s lanes.
Here you can find more information about Ryzen: Want to learn more about the new Ryzen processors? Then check out our article, where we have summarized all the information for you:
In the Auto-Battler Teamfight Tactics, the LoL Auto Chess,Riot apparently cannot stop nerfing the item “Locket of the Iron Solari”. The amulet was still considered one of the best and strongest items yesterday, according to the tier list. It had already been nerfed twice by then. With the LoL Patch 9.15 today, Riot finally put an end to the item.
What kind of item is this? The item “Locket of the Iron Solari” (en. Locket of the Iron Solari) is created by combining Armor and the Needlessly Large Rod.
This results in an item that benefits not only the wearer – like other items in Teamfight Tactics – but several champions as well.
This is how the item originally was: At the very beginning, as mentioned in the Item Cheat Sheet for Teamfight Tactics, the item granted its wearer and all nearby allies a shield that absorbed 200 health points.
Since up to 6 champions could stand around the central champion, 7 champions could be affected if they formed a tight grouping. The item was often given to the Sorceress Lulu (featured image).
This meant: The amulet could protect up to 7 champions for a total of 1400 health points. It was as if you gave 7 people a belt that granted them 200 additional health points.
This was the effect: There were players who specifically aimed for the tactic of stacking several of these items on one character, up to 3.
This was called “Locket Stacking.” Sorcerers or Rangers are generally considered glass cannons in Teamfight Tactics: They deal a lot of damage but have low survivability.
With Locket Stacking, these glass cannons suddenly had more health points, survived longer, and could at least cast a spell and deal damage to the enemy.
This tactic was considered too strong. Players engaging in “Locket Stacking” in Teamfight Tactics were often insulted and cursed in chat.
Was often played as the 7th champion in a 6 Sorcerer team: Ninja Akali.
This meant: Up to 5 champions could still be protected, for 1500 health points. They no longer needed to be clustered together but rather aligned in a row, making squishy targets theoretically more vulnerable.
However, this did not work at all.
She was a typical beneficiary of the buff: Morgana.
This was the 2nd nerf: As a hotfix, due to urgency, Riot Games shortly thereafter reduced the item to 200 health points. This meant that only 5 champions could be protected for 1000 health points.
This was the effect: In a tier list of Teamfight Tactics that just appeared, the item “Locket of the Iron Solari” was still considered the best or at least second-best item in the game, according to a top player. Even 1000 health points (5 belts) were still too strong.
Players say: Locket “sucks” now
This is the killer nerf now:Now Riot Games has finally killed the item with a nerf. Because the shield now lasts only 4 seconds at the start of the fight after LoL Patch 9.15 and then fades completely. However, the shield increases from 200 to 250.
Let’s see if this nerf is enough to end the reign of terror of the item.
The only thing left for Riot is probably to keep hammering the amulet until it breaks completely.
This is how it is seen now: According to initial reactions from players to the patch, the item is currently just dead (via reddit). The item is considered to be bad and useless in its current form.
However, players already have ideas for stacking a new offensive item. Because it deals damage to opponents when they cast spells. It seems Riot Games is facing the next balance problem in Teamfight Tactics.
Rayquaza can already be defeated with just two players and can easily build a strong counter team and even assist newcomers in the game.
Here’s how you can easily get strong counters against Rayquaza
What are top counters? Two of the best counters against Rayquaza are Mamutel and Glaziola. Especially the latter can be obtained particularly easily, and you can have a strong counter team.
Here’s how to get Mamutel: In February this year, there was the Community Day with Quiekel. Those who played there should have enough candies to evolve several Quiekel.
The only downside here is the Sinnoh Stone needed for the evolution. So, if you don’t do many trainer battles, you could have some problems.
Here’s how to easily get Glaziola: Glaziola is particularly easy to get. It is an evolution of Evoli, which only costs 25 candies. Everyone should have plenty of Evoli candies, as this Pokémon is very common almost everywhere and had a Community Day last August.
The Evoli evolution Glaziola
So activate a Glacial Module, and you can then evolve unlimited Evoli into Glaziola. Just use high-level Evoli. The IV is not that important when you have enough candies. After all, it is better to fight with Glaziola than with an ineffective counter.
Here’s how you can help others: Rayquaza is great for being defeated in duo. This way, you can also raid together with a buddy who might not play much.
Just trade them the evolved Glaziola or Mamutel. Perhaps it even becomes a Lucky Pokémon and even more useful. This way, even a player with no high level can have strong Pokémon.
If you use the right teams, you can defeat Rayquaza with just two players at level 25:
After FIFA 20 the cover of eFootball PES 2020 is now known. Why the player choice for the cover brings Liverpool fans to laughter, you will find out here.
EA Sports has entered a long-term partnership with FC Liverpool and has showcased Virgil Van Dijk for the cover of the Champions Edition of FIFA 20. Konami is doing something similar and is forming a partnership with Manchester United for PES 2020.
As a result, a Manchester player will be on the PES cover. The difference from FIFA: No one knows the Manchester player!
These players are on the cover: Together with Lionel Messi, Miralem Pjanic, and Bayern star Serge Gnabry, a relatively unknown player has made it to the cover: Scott McTominay.
A pretty unusual choice, since McTominay has only played 31 competitive matches for the Red Devils so far and is likely unknown to many.

Who is Scott McTominay? The 22-year-old Scot has been playing for Manchester United since his youth. He made the leap to the first team in 2017 and has since been a regular member of the squad.
So he is certainly not a bad player, but compared to Liverpool’s Van Dijk, who is known worldwide now, the unknown McTominay is not a star player.
FIFA 20 has the world’s best defender on the cover, PES has Scott McTominay
This is how fans are reacting: Especially the fans of the eternal league rivals FC Liverpool cannot help but laugh. After all, Virgil Van Dijk is an absolute world star compared to Scott McTominay.
This is the FIFA cover
People are reacting to this on the internet:
A Liverpool fan jokes: “I can’t find the star, can someone help me?”
Another user comments on Twitter: “McTominay? Please delete the cover before anyone else sees it.”
Additionally, many users are asking: “Where is Ronaldo?” Especially since eFootball PES 2020 has an exclusive license for Juventus Turin.
One more fan is wondering: “Who is the guy in the Manchester jersey?”
This is how it was back then: In 2008, Konami made a pretty strange decision for the German cover of PES 2008. Alongside the young Cristiano Ronaldo, Bayern player Jan Schlaudraff adorned the cover of the FIFA rival.
Particularly curious: At that time, he had not played a single match for Bayern. That he was still on the cover surprised many.
Jan, who? Schlaudraff played two successful years at Alemannia Aachen and moved to FC Bayern Munich for the 2007/2008 season. However, he never managed to establish himself there. He scored no goals in 8 games, which is not a good return for a forward.
Today, Jan Schlaudraff is the sporting director at the second division club Hannover 96.
Monster Hunter World will soon receive its new expansion Iceborne. Our author Leya was able to test the DLC for 5 hours in full version, before the release. She played in Master Rank, the new and hardest difficulty level. This is her impression.
This is what I often read since the release: Monster Hunter World is too easy and thus destroys the series.
Monsters show damage numbers, which allows me to quickly figure out their weaknesses. Likewise, the beasts are displayed on the map by the Spähkäfer, making them easier to find. Such features weren’t available in the past. Capcom even wanted to make the endgame in Iceborne harder, based on fan feedback (via ign.com).
Expectantly like this Boa-Boa, we look forward to the release of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.
This is my experience with the comfort adjustments: I played some older titles of the Monster Hunter series before World was released. I like the comfort adjustments, as they make the gaming experience feel smoother for me.
The fact that there is no loading screen when switching areas within the map is a huge improvement for me. When I picked up an older title from the series again, the familiar clumsiness frustrated me a little.
Iceborne takes us into the Raureif expanse, a large winter map with new animals, like the Anteka seen here.
The Master Rank should now bring the ultimate challenge
This is the Master Rank: In Monster Hunter World, the difficulty of the quests is determined by the Hunter Rank, which players increase gradually. The final and hardest stage is the Master Rank, formerly known as G-Rank. Here, the monsters are faster, stronger, have new attacks, and possess more health.
The challenging Master Rank is now introduced with the Iceborne DLC. It is the great hope of veteran hunters who have felt underwhelmed so far. But it should also represent a significant increase in difficulty for the newly acquired “casual player.”
The Master Rank makes the monsters more powerful and the fight against them harder.
This is how I experienced the Master Rank: Capcom invited various media representatives to an event where we could play the full version for five hours. Here I played a few quests in Master Rank, for which we were provided with high-quality equipment and a fully packed item box.
This was my first hunt in Master Rank against Beotodus
On my first quest, I encountered a Beotodus, a completely new monster. It lives in the new area, the Raureif expanse, and moves almost undetected through the winter landscape. The wyvern “swims” under the snow cover and attacks from ambush.
Beotodus slithers undetected through thick layers of snow.
The Beotodus had one thing above all: health! Even though I significantly increased my attack with items, I had to beat on the monster for quite a long time until it was finally down. Dodging its attacks is learned quickly, as they also resemble those of the already known Jyuratodus, which attacks from the mud.
After I had slain the Beotodus after almost an hour, it was on to the Banbaro, a monster that resembles a Canadian moose. It has some funny moves when it picks up rocks with its antlers and hurls them at you. Here, the knee-deep snow can also be a real problem, as you cannot run away as nimbly.
The Banbaro resembles a moose and has some cool attacks. With its antlers, it picks up stones or trees and throws them at hunters.
New tools, new ease?
This is the new Clutch Claw: The tool is an extension of the slinger, allowing hunters to pull themselves directly to monsters. It can even target the monster’s weak points and hit them hard.
While it is already possible in the base game to jump onto monsters, this requires quite a bit of practice with most weapons.

Here you can see how the Clutch Claw works in practice.
This is why these tools could be seen as “too easy”: Targeting with the Clutch Claw requires some skill, as you need to properly judge distance and speed. But once you get the hang of it, you can pull yourself to the monster easily. The beast can be targeted much more effectively if the weak point is, for example, the leg.
Additionally, there is also the “Recoil Shot,” which can be used to keep monsters at a distance. This gives you the time to sip a healing potion or sharpen your weapon.
Yes, this sparked the thought in me that complaints would arise saying that the Master Rank would be too easy. I find these new mechanics to be a relief, but a welcome one.
This is why I like the new Clutch Claw so much: The tool simply brings something refreshingly new to Monster Hunter World. I had a lot of fun hooking into the body parts of monsters, riding on them, and working them from the side, above, and below.
The Clutch Claw adds more dynamism to the otherwise rather static game. There are weapons that made it easy to jump on monsters before, especially the Insect Glaive. But now anyone can jump on monsters with any weapon, and that brings me a lot of joy in the game.
In the Raureif expanse, it is always cold, which is why hunters need a hot drink. Alternatively, a soothing bath in a hot spring can be taken.
Challenger Viper Tobi Kadachi enters the ring
This monster raises the difficulty: The first time I realized that I was in Master Rank was with the Viper Tobi Kadachi. This monster is a subspecies of the known Tobi and attacks with poison instead of electricity.
If the Viper Tobi caught me with its poisonous tail, my health went away quickly. The other monsters before required time but didn’t really make me sweat.
Unfortunately, my five hours with Iceborne were up before I could take down the Viper Tobi. I was really looking forward to getting a few hits in until I got the hang of dealing with the agile monster.
The Viper Tobi Kadachi, a new subspecies. This Tobi has some pretty nasty poison bites.
The question of ease surrounding Iceborne
Why do I actually ask myself this question? The difficulty of Monster Hunter World has been much discussed in the community – also in my own hunting circles. I believe this is simply a question that interests many.
On the one hand, players who have long been familiar with the franchise need to be catered to. On the other hand, there is a large mass of players who have come to know and love the franchise with Monster Hunter World. You do not want to scare anyone away with gameplay that is too easy or too hard.
Iceborne is supposed to represent the new Master Rank hurdle. I am just sure that this discussion about ease will flare up again. I am aware that after five hours of playtime, I cannot answer this question. Too many monsters are still unexplored for me.
The Nightshade Paolumu is a new subspecies of the Paolumu which also comes with Iceborne.
This is how I assess the matter now: I consider myself to be among the moderately skilled players. I am the casual player who is fully engaged in professional life and only has limited time to play.
I prefer everything that brings variety, like this new Clutch Claw, to a monster that is overly challenging.
From my first impression, the difficulty seems just right for my type of player. However, I can imagine that the veteran player may still find it too easy. But this is a common problem that many gamers face.
The Coral Pukei Pukei sprays a large jet of water instead of poison. The water can unbalance hunters.
Iceborne is a winter fairy tale
This was my highlight: Away from the discussion about mechanics and difficulty, Iceborne is definitely stunningly beautiful. The snowy landscape is simply a winter fairy tale. It’s no wonder that fans of the series longed for a winter map.
I am particularly impressed by the reflections in the scales of the monsters that sparkle like ice crystals above the snow. The winter map is mirrored in the monsters. Visually, it is simply breathtaking.
The new monsters from Iceborne in the video
Our colleagues from GameStar and GamePro were also on-site and created a video from the new material. Here you can see the newly shown subspecies like the Coral Pukei Pukei in action:

Who wants to shine cool in Destiny 2 has to reach deep into their pockets. Thousands of Guardians are currently discussing the prices of Armor Glow during the Solstice of Heroes.
This is about these cosmetics: On July 30th, the summer event “Solstice of Heroes” started in Destiny 2. This brought a new armor set into the game, which can be upgraded through a long and arduous process. The final touch can be given to this set with the so-called “Armor Glow” cosmetic – which makes it shine.
The Solstice Armor Set with Armor Glow looks like this, with each Guardian class having an Arc, Solar, and Void Glow available:
How to get the Armor Glow? You can exclusively acquire these cosmetics through Eververse. You can get an Armor Glow for
800 Silver
or 5000 Glimmer
purchase. If you want all three Armor Glows (in Arc, Solar, and Void), you have to pay three times the amounts of the currencies above. Here you see all three Glows of the Titan:
Community reacts divided to these prices
That’s why this is a hot topic: On reddit, several threads sprang up directly that have these prices as the topic – including one with 7,000 upvotes and one with 1,200 upvotes. Some criticize the prices as unreasonably high, but there are also many voices defending Bungie.
This is being criticized:
The Armor Glow is considered one of the cooler features of the Solstice event. That they want Guardians to reach so deep into their pockets for it is outrageous.
800 Silver is approximately 8 Euros. 500 Silver can be purchased for 4.99 Euros, the next higher Silver package costs 9.99 Euros for 1100 Silver. If you want all 3 Armor Glows, you would have to spend over 20 Euros. Because a Silver package for 2300 Silver costs 19.99 Euros – then you still lack 100 Silver.
Glimmer can be earned, but to get 5000 or 15000 Glimmer, you need to invest a lot of time in Destiny 2. Especially since Bungie recently introduced the Tribute Hall, a place where you could pump all your Glimmer supplies to quickly get Bad Karma.
This means the Solstice of Heroes misses the goal of celebrating the past Destiny year and instead becomes a frustrating grind for Glimmer.
This is how Guardians justify the prices:
One Guardian writes in a widely noticed post that the Solstice of Heroes as an event is completely free for everyone. Spending money on the Armor Glow is purely optional. And the employees at Bungie have to pay their bills as well, so it is okay to spend 8 Euros on something that also makes you look pretty cool in the game.
Many agree. One Guardian jokingly says he spends even more money on beer when raiding.
Whether you buy the Armor Glow or earn it, you have to decide for yourself.
What’s new in Eververse? In addition to the Armor Glows, further cosmetics have been added to Eververse with the Solstice of Heroes, such as exotic emotes, ghost shells, sparrows, a ship, ghost projections, and teleport effects:
Will you treat yourself to one or the other Armor Glow?
Summer trends in gaming like Pokémon GO or Ark Survival Evolved have always been something that our author Schuhmann has observed from a distance. But in 2019, he is right in the middle of the trend frenzy and plays the latest hit game Teamfight Tactics every day. He is fully in the summer hype – and does so without spending a dime.
This is why summers in gaming are so strange: Since we started the site MeinMMO and I have been following the online gaming market, I’ve noticed how odd each summer is. The other seasons are always the same:
In spring, the first release window comes, with AAA titles that are not quite mainstream but from which developers have high expectations – sometimes a The Division, sometimes a Monster Hunter World
In autumn, the big release window opens with the annual blockbuster titles, featuring FIFA, Call of Duty, Destiny, and the major new releases of a year like Red Dead Redemption 2
The really big titles don’t come in summer, but in autumn.
The winter is usually quiet; players stick to what was new in autumn. Expansions and DLCs come out.
But summer is always somehow different
Every summer, a gaming hit comes out of nowhere
What’s going on in summer? Usually, in early summer of a year, it’s so quiet that it feels like the summer hole reaches to the earth’s core and nothing will ever happen again. Gaming sites report about TV series like Game of Thrones or cats throwing up in streamers’ fans.
But then something happens that no one anticipated. A hype erupts:
In 2015, “Jurassic World” hit theaters and suddenly the survival game “Ark Survival Evolved” became the big thing on Steam, which many PC gamers talked about. A chaotic indie studio created a massive hit with dinosaurs and a complex game system.
ARK Survival Evolved: Launched on June 2, 2015, simply in early access on Steam.
Back then, it seemed like Pokémon GO could change the world and how gaming is perceived as a whole.
Release was in July 2016. Pokémon GO drove everyone crazy.
In 2017, there was actually nothing happening in gaming. PUBG had started its triumph in spring. Until suddenly Fortnite “Save the World”, then still a PvE title, appeared. This was a long-lost game from a studio that hardly anyone remembered anymore.
For a few weeks, Fortnite “Save the World” was a major topic until it quickly faded. It was only later in autumn that Epic started its mission to conquer the world, which continues to this day.
The summer of 2018 was somewhat different, as Fortnite Battle Royale completely dominated online gaming, even though it had already been on the market for three-quarters of a year. But even here there were small trends: With SCUM, a strange hardcore game came to prominence on Steam for a short time, that too was a surprise.
Now almost forgotten: SCUM was released in August 2018.
This is how summers went for me: I had little to do with all these summer trends. Well, I enjoyed playing Fortnite “Save the World” in 2017, but that was a matter of a few weeks until the game got too grindy for me with its Asian mobile ideas.
Otherwise, summers and their gaming hypes always passed me by.
The summer trend in gaming 2019 is totally niche and I love it
This is the trend in 2019: The summer of 2019 clearly belongs to the “auto-battlers” in online gaming. These are strategy games where players buy heroes, place them on the battlefield, and they fight against each other without the player’s intervention.
The trend has been discovered by MOBAs and they are applying this formula to their selection of heroes.
What seems completely absurd and lame to someone who doesn’t know it, gives me the total gaming kick this summer.
I haven’t played and sweat this much in the last few weeks. I am in the summer gaming hype.
He is an important hero in Teamfight Tactics: The ninja Kennen.
I love the gaming summer of 2019
This is how I feel about auto-battlers: I only caught the trend out of the corner of my eye when it started with Dota Auto Chess. That was far away – some mod from a game I never played. I tried to ignore it. To me, it sounded somewhat lame: auto-battler.
I then jumped into Dota Underlords for a weekend. I just wanted to take a look, but I ended up playing from Friday evening until Monday morning.
Ultimately, I became completely hooked on Teamfight Tactics, the LoL auto chess, that came out shortly after. I know the heroes and the items from my time when I regularly played League of Legends.
Teamfight Tactics is brief, intense, and tactical.
Each round is a bit different – and the strategy I won with half an hour ago can fail badly the next time because the items and heroes available mess up the plan.
I had phases where I felt like I finally understood the game, only to then perform much worse than in the previous days because I desperately wanted to play a tactic that luck simply didn’t support.
I even started with ranked matches, which I never do, and managed to reach platinum level.
I’m not super proud of it, but tracker sites tell me I currently belong to the upper “1%” of played games and I’m number 28,988 in the world. Yay!
The statistics really only say: Diligent, but only moderately successful.
Hundreds of hours of gaming for 0 cents
Why am I so susceptible to the trend? The auto-battlers revitalize old “strategy ideas,” pack them into a brief format, and constantly demand important decisions from the player.
As a result, after losses, one feels that with a bit more luck or different decisions, it could have gone totally differently. After victories, one feels like a tactically brilliant general.
Looks inconspicuous – but when you’re deep into the game, it’s so much fun.
What is particularly cool? Although I’ve probably spent over 100 hours on Dota Underlords and Teamfight Tactics in the last few weeks, I haven’t paid a cent. I haven’t even considered spending money anywhere.
For me, 2019 is the best gaming summer in a long time. For many others, it’s probably, like many trends of recent years: hardly comprehensible.
The Swedish streamer “Anomaly” has over a million followers who now have to wait for his streams. Twitch banned him for 30 days because he wore an offensive outfit in Minecraft .
Who is it about? The banned Swedish streamer is Ludvig “Anomaly” Lagerstedt. On YouTube, he has nearly 2.5 million subscribers, and on Twitch.TV, he has almost 1 million followers.
Why did he show a Hitler skin? On Twitter, Anomaly posted a statement explaining that he was banned for 30 days. He writes that he accidentally showed a Minecraft skin for less than 2 seconds.
One of his followers responded with the clip that likely led to the ban. In it, you can see Anomaly’s gameplay in Minecraft. He opens his inventory in the clip, which results in his Minecraft character being visible.
We are embedding the Twitter clip with Anomaly’s skin here in the article. If you don’t see it, follow this link to Twitter.

The skin bears visual similarities to Adolf Hitler. Brown uniform, a red armband, and even a little mustache adorn the pixel figure. When Anomaly realizes that he had activated the wrong skin, he quickly closes the inventory again. He says, “Oh my God, I was wearing the wrong skin!”
On Twitter, he explains why he wore the skin: “I had the skin because I wanted to record a Minecraft video with a few friends and make a joke about ‘Meinkraft.’ I forgot to change the skin back.”
This is the consequence: With this action, he likely violated the rules of Twitch.TV. Their community guidelines state how to handle hate-driven behavior and harassment. Showing the Hitler skin probably falls into this category.
Hate-driven behavior is any content or action that promotes or encourages discrimination, degradation, objectification, harassment, or violence based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, medical condition, physical traits, or veteran status. Such behavior is prohibited. Hate-driven behavior is considered a zero-tolerance violation. All accounts associated with such behavior will be permanently suspended.
The violation has now led to a 30-day ban. However, Anomaly intends to challenge this. He says he wants to contact Twitch. A 30-day penalty for this offense seems excessive in his opinion.
As Dotesports reports, this was not the first ban against Anomaly. A year ago, he was banned from Twitch for hate-driven behavior. The reason for this ban a year ago has not been officially confirmed. However, the ban came after a clip circulated showing Anomaly dressing his character in PUBG in prison clothing and editing a dark skin tone. He found this hilarious.
A special skin in Overwatch is currently interesting for German players. They can dress Reinhardt in the national colors.
In Overwatch, the last week of the “Summer Games 2019” has begun. In addition to Lúcioball, there were also some challenges and new skins that could be earned during the event. Especially for fans of the German character Reinhardt, the event should be interesting since he received the special skin “Bundesadler,” which adorns him with the German national colors – black, red, and gold.
This is how you get the skin: To unlock the Bundesadler skin for Reinhardt, you don’t have to rely on the luck of loot boxes. Instead, you need to complete the “Weekly Challenge.” For this, you simply need to win 9 matches in any game mode. These can be both ranked and “Quick Match” games. All modes in the arcade can also be used for this. If you want, you can quickly rack up 9 wins in Lucioball to earn the new skin.
How much time do you have? The Summer Games event only has a few days left. But until the end of the event, you have time to earn the Bundesadler skin. That’s still 6 days from today; the event ends on August 5. Whether the skin will be available for credits afterward is still not clearly known.
If you want this skin for our little Swabian knight, you should hurry and play some matches of Overwatch.
Have you already earned the Bundesadler skin for Reinhardt? Or are you not interested in it at all?
