For almost 7 years, Camelot Unchained has been in development and eagerly awaited by fans. In 2020, the company behind it wants to finally release a game. However, this is not the MMORPG.
What happened? The studio City State Entertainment has been working on the new MMORPG Camelot Unchained since 2013. The founder of the studio is Marc Jacobs, the creator of the legendary Dark Age of Camelot. Accordingly, there is a strong focus on PvP content.
Many players seem to like the approach of the new MMORPG. Through Kickstarter, Camelot Unchained was able to raise more than 2 million dollars. Also, money has continued to come from external backers and investors.
A major announcement from the studio was planned for January 2020, in which they wanted to showcase the content they have been working on since July 2019. This announcement took place on January 31 and contained a surprise. A game from City State Entertainment is supposed to be released in 2020, but it is not Camelot Unchained.
New PvE Coop Game Planned
What kind of game is this? In a livestream, the new game Colussus was presented. It is a multiplayer coop title, designed only for PvE players and therefore actually not aimed at the target group of Camelot Unchained.
In Colussus, the aim is to defeat huge hordes of enemies while playing as a large and powerful hero. There are supposed to be various scenarios, settings, and difficulties.
The idea arose from tests in Camelot Unchained when Jacobs sent hordes of NPCs against the players during a fortress siege and the engine held up to this challenge.
Colossus thus uses the engine developed specifically for Camelot Unchained. Therefore, different sized groups of players are supposed to be able to fight against the hordes, with up to 1,000 players at once.
Why is Colossus being developed? In an interview with MassivelyOP, Marc Jacobs revealed some background about Colossus. The new game is supposed to ensure that City State Entertainment receives further support from investors. This is apparently necessary to complete Camelot Unchained.
According to Jacobs, Colossus was developed only with his own money and that of the investors. The support from players has so far only flowed into the development of Camelot Unchained.
How is the new game financed? Colossus is supposed to be Buy2Play. Additionally, battle passes and possible expansions are planned.
What do the backers of Camelot Unchained get from it? All backers of the MMORPG will receive a free version of Colossus. Additionally, there are the following bonuses:
All backers receive credits for Colossus adjusted to their reward tier.
A percentage of the money from Colossus will flow into the development of Camelot Unchained.
If Colossus is extremely successful, part of the profits will flow back to the backers, in the form of credits for additional playtime in Camelot Unchained. The MMORPG requires a monthly subscription.
Backers can also request a refund if they are dissatisfied with the development.

Fans Show Disappointment Towards Developers
How are players reacting to the announcement? On Reddit for Camelot Unchained, there is currently no other topic than the new game Colossus. Many, however, are not pleased:
rattlesnake107: “Use your right to a refund. Camelot Unchained will already be irrelevant by the time it is finally released and God knows how much that will still cost.”
Sandman-Slim: “So they used all the backers’ money to create and sell an engine. They showcase the software with smaller games like Colossus. I bet a battle royale or survival game is next.
VmanGman21: “I thought Ashes of Creation Apocalypse was a bad PR move, but this game has surpassed it.”
What will happen to the MMORPG? In the interview, Jacobs confirms that work on Camelot Unchained continues. While Colossus has delayed some gameplay content of the MMORPG, it is also supposed to have a positive effect on development:
The new money from investors is also supposed to be used for the MMORPG.
Both games moved from Windows to Linux servers due to Colossus. A process that was originally planned for Camelot Unchained anyway.
The engine was expanded with new systems, including matchmaking, improved AI for NPCs, weather systems, and adjustments to lighting and rendering.
Winter Refresh is coming soon in FIFA 20. Each year, particularly strong players from the first half of the season receive a rating upgrade. Who from the Bundesliga could be included?
When does the Winter Refresh come? Usually, the refresh happens in waves between early and mid-February. By then, the winter transfers have also taken place.
How does the Winter Upgrade work? Once a year, the base ratings of cards in FIFA Ultimate Team are updated. Particularly good players from the first half of the season can receive new ratings that make them even stronger.
These new standard cards can also be found in packs. Your old base cards in the club, however, will not receive an upgrade. For some special cards, an upgrade might also apply if you already have the player in your club, and the new standard card becomes better than the special cards. POTM cards, for example, can indeed increase in rating if the standard card has received an upgrade.
These 10 Bundesliga players could become even stronger
Who could receive an upgrade? We took a look at the Bundesliga and identified 10 candidates.
Robert Lewandowski
Here’s why Lewandowski could receive an upgrade: At the release last summer, the community was surprised that Robert Lewandowski did not get a 90 in FIFA 20. Numerous special cards, such as for the Headliners event, brought the striker to 90 and above – and anything less than a corresponding upgrade of the Gold card would be a surprise.
Lewandowski has scored 32 goals in 27 matches across all competitions and set up 3 more. 21 of those were scored in the Bundesliga, giving him a rate of more than one goal per game. The upgrade is virtually certain.
Timo Werner
Here’s why Werner could receive an upgrade: In short – the situation is almost the same as with Lewandowski. First, there was surprise at the relatively low rating at release, and secondly, Werner scored goals at a rapid pace.
20 goals in 19 league matches speak volumes, and Werner has already collected a few special cards. The upgrade is only logical – and it’s also quite possible that it will be more than one rating point.
Alphonso Davies
Here’s why Davies could receive an upgrade: Alphonso Davies is one of the big surprises of the season. That the 19-year-old would already become a regular starter at FC Bayern – EA Sports likely did not predict that either.
Although his 72-rated card offers lots of speed, the other values are somewhat weak. However, since Davies has started every game since late October, there should be a significant upgrade for this top talent. He is currently planned to play as left-back for Bayern, so a position change is likely to occur.
Ozan Kabak
Here’s why Kabak could receive an upgrade: Also 19 years old and equipped with a rather inconspicuous silver card, there are certainly parallels between Ozan Kabak and Alphonso Davies.
Kabak has developed into a key player for Schalke 04 since his transfer from relegated Stuttgart. As an anchor, the young defender helped stabilize Schalke’s defense. He should also become a more reliable defender in FIFA and increase his 74 rating.
Marcus Thuram
Here’s why Thuram could receive an upgrade: Borussia Mönchengladbach has had a very strong season so far, currently sitting in 3rd place in the table. The attackers Plea, Thuram, Embolo, and Patrick Herrmann have all contributed goals and are all candidates for upgrades.
Thuram represents the quartet, which has fairly similar numerical values. The Frenchman has scored six goals and also provided five assists. His upgrade could be quite remarkable. His Inform card, for example, has a value of 81, while the standard card still stands at 75. At least one adjustment should take place here – and a position change from left winger to striker is also expected.
Milot Rashica
Here’s why Rashica could receive an upgrade: The season for Werder Bremen is not going particularly smoothly. The club from the Weser is at the bottom of the table and fighting to avoid relegation.
One of the few bright spots has been Milot Rashica. The winger consistently impresses with good performances, scoring a total of 7 goals and setting up 3 more. He is a lively element in the attack – and could improve your Bundesliga FUT teams with his speed. His card currently sits at 79. Rashica is likely to break at least the 80 mark.
Marcel Sabitzer
Here’s why Sabitzer could receive an upgrade: The fact that RB Leipzig is currently competing at the top for the championship is certainly not just due to Timo Werner. The teammates of the striker are also impressing with strong performances – such as Marcel Sabitzer.
The Austrian already received a strong card during the Ultimate Scream event, but has held back on upgrades so far. That should change in the winter: An upgrade of the 81-rated card seems overdue given 20 goal involvements in 26 matches across all competitions.
Erling Haaland
Here’s why Haaland could receive an upgrade: 2 matches, 59 minutes, 5 goals. Such are Haaland’s numbers at the time of this article. At least in the Bundesliga, in the jersey of Borussia Dortmund. Considering the entire season before his transfer, the BVB newcomer scored 33 goals in 24 matches and also provided 7 assists. That’s quite impressive.
Haaland’s standard silver card is still at 73. The upgrade is practically sure to come. His TOTW card alone already sits at 86. It’s quite possible that Haaland makes a huge leap and is upgraded by several rating points.
Filip Kostic
Here’s why Kostic could receive an upgrade: Eintracht Frankfurt is having a somewhat inconsistent season, with ups and downs. Filip Kostic is one of those players who often helps create the “ups”.
Especially as a creator, Kostic has repeatedly distinguished himself and reliably works the left side of the field. In FIFA 20, his standard card is at 82, and his Inform is at 84. It’s possible that a new Gold card could slot in between.
Yann Sommer
Here’s why Sommer could receive an upgrade: Yann Sommer has contributed to the success of Gladbach as much as the attacking lineup on the other side of the pitch. The Swiss ensures that his teammates can focus on moving forward – because in case of doubt, the goalkeeper is in position.
Hardly any goalkeeper has shown such consistency in the current Bundesliga season as Sommer. In FIFA 20, his Gold card may rise by one point in the winter.
The new ratings will be based on the results of real football. However, these FIFA elements have little to do with reality:
In February, there are no major new releases for the MMOs. However, the month benefits from two games that were released late in January and some updates for existing titles.
In this post, you will find 5 games that we particularly recommend for February 2020. These include either new titles or older games that have received a new update.
On the last page, you will also find a preview of additional highlights that do not yet have a fixed date.
First up is an MMO that garnered a lot of attention in January.

February is big in Pokémon GO! Various events are bringing new Pokémon like Fleknoil, BoreosandMamolida. In addition, there are 4 new Shinies.
Niantic announced: The developers presented almost all events that await us this month. This also includes two new events, a raid day, and a new raid boss.
We provide you with an overview of all the new Pokémon and the events that await you.
Giovanni brings Shiny Raikou
Here’s what’s next with Giovanni: In February, the next special research with Giovanni is ready. Those who solve this can challenge the Rocket boss at the end and catch a Shadow Raikou upon victory.
The Shadow version of Raikou will be available from Giovanni
When does the special research start? If you have already completed the last special research with Giovanni in January, you can already start the new research since midnight.
Alternatively, you must first complete the last special research before receiving the new tasks. If you encounter Giovanni through the last research, he will also have Raikou. Lavados is now history and was only available in January.
New research breakthrough with Fleknoil
What’s new: If you claim your research breakthrough in February, you will encounter the new Pokémon Fleknoil. This will be available for the entire February in the breakthrough. In addition to Fleknoil, you will also receive Fleknoil candies in the breakthrough.
However, this will not start until tonight at 10 PM. So anyone who can claim their breakthrough today will still encounter Lapras until 10 PM .
Fleknoil and its evolution
What is Fleknoil? The Psychic and Flying-type Pokémon resembles Zubat a bit. If you have enough candies, it evolves into Fletiamo.
New Pokémon Boreos appears in raids
When is Boreos coming? The legendary Pokémon will directly replace Heatran and will appear from February 4 at 10 PM. You can battle it for almost a month, as it will not disappear until February 25 at 10 PM.
Boreos in Incarnation and Avatar forms
What’s special about Boreos: The legendary Pokémon has two forms. Initially, it will most likely appear in its Avatar form. However, there is also the Incarnation form, which has different stats.
How good is Boreos? The Pokémon is a Flying type and is among the best attackers. A detailed analysis will follow soon on MeinMMO.
How to counter Boreos? The Pokémon is weak against Electric, Ice, and Rock types. We will soon publish the best counters against Boreos.
Sinnoh event brings Shiny Riolu
Then the event starts: This event lasts only over a weekend. From February 7 at 8 AM local time until February 10 at 10 AM local time, the bonuses are active.

There are special field researches that feature Sinnoh Pokémon and stones
Shiny Riolu and Shiny Hippopotas will be available in Pokémon GO for the first time
All new Shinies in the Sinnoh event
How good will the event be? This weekend, you will have to walk a lot and hatch eggs. The two new Shinies will likely remain pretty rare in the future. Especially Riolu is generally rare in the eggs. As a shiny, it should be even rarer.
Valentine’s Day brings Shiny Chaneira and Raid Day
Then the event starts: This event also lasts only a weekend and starts on February 14 at 8 AM local time. The bonuses will be available until February 17 at 10 AM local time.
The two new Pokémon Mamolida and Ohrdoch
What’s in the event? Of course, it all revolves around the pink Pokémon. Therefore, there are the following bonuses:
Rose Pokémon will be more commonly found in the wild, in eggs, in raids, and in quests
Ohrdoch and Mamolida will appear for the first time in Pokémon GO
Regular lure modules will be active for 6 hours during the event
Double candies when catching Pokémon
Shiny Wonneira will hatch from eggs and Shiny Chaneira will appear in the wild
What is known about the spawns: The field researches have also been leaked. It seems that there will be more spawns in the wild, including Flegmon, Hoppspross, Liebiskus, and Flurmel. More spawns are possible.
Raid Day with Shiny Schlurp
During the Valentine’s Day event, there will also be a raid day with Schlurp. This will run on February 15 from 2 PM to 5 PM.
In the 3 hours, you will encounter a Schlurp raid at each gym. The Schlurp can also appear as a shiny.
This bonus is available: During the event, you can receive up to 5 free raid passes. So, together with your daily pass, you can participate in a total of 6 free raids of Schlurp.
Additionally, Schlurp will know the charge move Body Slam. This will be available as an exclusive attack.
Friendship weekend with more gifts
Then the event starts: On the last full weekend in February, there will also be an event. From February 21 at 8 AM local time until February 24 at 10 AM local time, bonuses around the friendship level will be active.

Friendship levels increase faster
Pokémon yield double candies when traded
Trading Pokémon is half as expensive
Per day, you can open 40 gifts
You can hold 20 gifts at once
This is still unclear: Currently, it is not known how fast the friendship levels will increase during the event. However, if you want to level up quickly with your friends, then you should make use of the full days.
So even on Monday, when the event ends at 10 AM, you should have opened the maximum number of gifts beforehand.
Pokémon GO tests two new events
This is the spotlight hour: During this event, everything will revolve around one Pokémon for an hour. The monster is not yet known and is said to be a surprise according to Niantic.
On February 4 between 6 PM and 7 PM, this bonus will be active. It remains to be seen whether Niantic will announce the Pokémon by then or if it will only be revealed at the start of the event.
Two new events will be tested by Pokémon GO
This is the wonder bonus hour: On February 6 between 6 PM and 7 PM, Niantic will try the wonder bonus hour. During this event, there will be a wonderful bonus for one hour.
This bonus is also not known yet and is set to be a surprise.
Niantic makes it clear that these two events are intended to be preliminary tests. However, these events may then occur weekly, just like the raid hour.

In Destiny 2, numerous players and experts rave about the legendary hand cannon “Bube Königin König 3” in PvE. We explain which rolls are the best, what makes them strong, and how you can get this shooter.
This weapon is about: The legendary hand cannon “Bube Königin König 3” was already in year 1 of Destiny 2. However, it was brought back with the Season 9 by Bungie – and with Random Rolls and a slot for the current mods.
It belongs to the popular family of 150 hand cannons (150 RPM) with a lightweight body, deals Arc damage, and is carried in the energy slot.
What makes this hand cannon so special in PvE?
In short: Many experts praise “Bube Königin König 3” as one of the best, if not the best legendary hand cannon for PvE, among other reasons:
The weapon belongs to the currently strongest and most popular archetype of hand cannons.
It can roll with some of the best perks in the game – it can also drop with perk combinations that you won’t find on any other hand cannon.
It can be farmed easily.
It has relatively few possible perks per slot. So it’s comparatively easy to get a good or even a God Roll.
The weapon is carried in the energy slot, leaving the kinetic slot available for other strong meta build options like the exotic sniper Izanagi’s Burden.
The biggest direct competition, “Entfachte Orchidee”, belongs to the slightly weaker 140 archetype and is much harder to farm.
By the way, even in PvP, “Bube Königin König 3” reportedly performs well according to many players.
These rolls you should aim for with “Bube Königin König 3”: The well-known Destiny 2 YouTuber and expert Ehroar from the Redeem clan recommends 4 strong perk combinations for this weapon, all of which he considers God Rolls.
There are numerous other strong perk combos for this weapon (for example with Surround), but he personally considers these 4 to be the strongest. Thus, in his opinion, “Bube Königin König 3” is currently the best legendary hand cannon in PvE.
1.Roll: Surplus + Dragonfly
2.Roll: Demolitionist + Dragonfly
3.Roll: Demolitionist + Rampage
4.Roll: Demolitionist + Swashbuckler
The advantages of these 4 rolls: With these rolls, you will almost never have to reload (even if you have less ammunition in reserves) or will have your grenade ready in just a few moments – allowing you to excellently take out smaller enemies and whole groups of foes.
With Surplus, kills partially refill the magazine from reserves. Many enemies can already be killed with just one shot, which triggers the perk almost with every shot.
In combination with Dragonfly, the effect of Surplus becomes even stronger. Because with Dragonfly, precision kills trigger an elemental explosion that usually takes out several additional enemies if they are nearby. These kills also trigger Surplus (even multiple times) and refill the magazine from reserves. Reloading thus becomes a thing of the past – ideal for add-clearing.
Demolitionist, which grants grenade energy on kills, can also synergize with Dragonfly, benefiting from the additional explosive kills. So after just a few precision kills in combat against enemy groups, you will have your grenade ready again.
If you are dealing with slightly stronger enemies and need more damage to achieve consistent one-shot kills, then the combination of Demolitionist and Rampage or Swashbuckler comes into play. Both perks increase your damage – Rampage for a while after each kill (up to 3 stacks) and Swashbuckler temporarily after melee kills or kills with the weapon itself. This then increases your damage output, making one-shot kills easier, which in turn quickly reloads your grenade thanks to Demolitionist.
With appropriate Rampage or Dragonfly specification mods, you should further amplify the effects of these synergies through the weapon’s mod slot. This way, “Bube Königin König 3” can be improved even further.
This is how you get the “Bube Königin König 3”: One thing in advance: Consider that this is a seasonal weapon that will likely disappear at the end of Season 9. If you want to get it or are still hunting certain rolls, you should do so by March 9.
If you want to farm the weapon, you need the obelisk on Nessus. You will find it right at the spawn point in the area Exodus Black. Once you have unlocked this obelisk, you will still need to upgrade it further until the corresponding time-lost weapon bounty is unlocked for you. After that, you can comfortably farm the “Bube Königin König 3” – which should soon become even easier.

Warcraft 3: Reforged is a disaster and could be one of many coffin nails for Blizzard. It shows that something is seriously wrong at Blizzard – at least that’s what Cortyn thinks.
The last days and weeks have been hard to endure even for hardened Blizzard fanboys, as Blizzard slides from one shitstorm to the next. If there’s a way to disappoint the players, it’s currently being taken consistently.
Warcraft 3: Reforged is a new milestone in the negative department. It is probably the latest low point of a development that leads fans to finally doubt their once-beloved game developer.
That the cutscenes in the campaign haven’t really been improved and that even the scene from the BlizzCon trailer no longer exists in the game, could already be considered criminal in some countries. This is a kind of deception that I simply am not used to from Blizzard.
False promises lead to a rating of 0.8 out of 10
I believe the only cases of “false promises” that I really remember as such were the dance studio in World of Warcraft and the advertising of the Battle for Wintergrasp with gyrocopters and other flying machines. These are minor details compared to what fans have been presented with now.
Above all, I find it hard to understand how Blizzard could mess this up. They had the fans on their side for the remake. When it was shown at BlizzCon, it was a small highlight. They only needed to deliver exactly what they promised. They had the license to print money and the opportunity to monetize an old game with relatively little effort. That it turned out to be so little effort in the end is outrageous.
Blizzard is currently getting the bill for this. The game is being shredded in all forums and the already poor rating of 1.9 out of 10 points has fallen further on Metacritic. Now it stands at 0.8 points. I didn’t even know until today that this is possible.
Blizzard alienates new players, but even more the old ones
The absurdity of this entire situation is that they have not only alienated new players but have also managed to alienate the small (but quite active) community of the original Warcraft 3.
Because if someone thinks, “Uff, Reforged is crap, I’d rather start the old game”, they’re out of luck. There is essentially no “old game” anymore. If you want to play Warcraft 3 online, you have to use the Reforged client. Although you can switch to the old graphics, a lot doesn’t work. Some units have no sound, sometimes towers simply don’t shoot at enemies, and many other bugs plague the game.
With the release of a new game, Blizzard has not only managed to break a lot of promises but has also actively taken something away from existing players of another game.
The “old” version can no longer be accessed.
Reforged is dead – is development too?
Another questionable point is whether Blizzard will really invest much energy into Warcraft 3: Reforged now. Because if we’re honest: The game is dead for now. It has devastating reviews and there are complaints everywhere.
Blizzard will probably push some patches out and improve things, but whether all wishes and promises to the community will be fulfilled is questionable. After all, the current shitstorm is so big that many now have a negative attitude towards Reforged, and new players are difficult to reach. The money from pre-orders and loyal fans, who have been waiting for years, has already been secured. So why invest many resources when the child has already fallen into the well and drowned?
Do you think this is too negative a perspective? Then take a look at the StarCraft Remaster from 2017. It still doesn’t have a search function for ranked 2vs2 matches. Something that the developers promised at launch.
Even as an optimistic Blizzard fan, I would be very cautious with the hope that made promises will ever be fulfilled here.
I do feel a little bit of sympathy for the actual developers of the game. Because I can’t imagine that they had any say in the release. The developers must have seen for themselves what a disaster they were releasing and that there wasn’t enough time to get the game into an acceptable state.
Whoever does creative work and takes on such a community-adored “sanctuary” like Warcraft 3 wants it to be perfect. When you hear comparisons like “Even Anthem was better at launch than Warcraft 3: Reforged”, then some hearts must be bleeding.
The only logical explanation that I can come up with for this catastrophic release is legal reasons. In many countries, a product that can be ordered must also be delivered within a certain time. If this does not happen, customers can sue. Moreover, Blizzard had already postponed the release once, so they didn’t want to embarrass themselves by having to do it again.
But that would have been healthier. Healthier for the game, healthier for the community, and healthier for Blizzard’s reputation, which in recent years has not just been crumbling but is now in free fall.
Finally finish games and take your time
In the past – and with that, I already sound like I’m reporting like grandparents from the war – things were different at Blizzard. Games didn’t come out on a set date, but they arrived “Soon” or “When it’s done.” And this “Soon” and “When it’s done” could easily take a year or two or three in the future. A game was released when the quality was right.
If games were developed for years and didn’t reach the desired quality, they were not brought to market. The Warcraft adventure with Thrall was never released, even though it was basically playable and finished. The same goes for StarCraft: Ghost or Project Titan. These were games that were canceled after long development.
In the past, it was said in advance, “A Blizzard game! I can confidently buy it and have fun.” This has been changing for years. More and more often, it’s more like, “Ah, a Blizzard game… I’d rather wait for the first reviews.”
Isn’t that incredibly sad?
Blizzard or Activision, no matter who is responsible: Please stop it. Develop a game again and take the time you need. If you do that, you can create nearly perfect games that will remain in the memories of players forever. You create a legacy and games that are still relevant after 18 years. You had and have the potential to make gaming history with each of your games.
Well, with Warcraft 3: Reforged you surely made gaming history. But that’s probably not how you wanted it.
The MMORPG Project TL (PC, consoles) aims to bring the legendary Korean game series Lineage into the new era. After years of silence, NCSoft is now back and has posted 10 new concept arts. A beta is announced for the first half of 2020.
The last we heard about the MMORPG was a statement from November 2019. At that time, NCSoft stated that Project TL is “fully in development”, so it is difficult to make a concrete statement about a release date.
The team is currently focused on enhancing the “overall quality” of Project TL, which will take a bit more time. Therefore, the goal now is for Project TL to enter a closed beta in the first half of 2020.

Windawood Anthill
Kent Village
These are the new images: NCSoft today released 10 images of Project TL on the Korean blog. Individual images showcase regions familiar to fans from the Lineage games and are labeled with names like “Black Anvil Dwarf Region”, “Dragon’s Nest”, “Frozen Castle”; “Windawood Castle”, “Windwood Wood Ants”, “Kent Village”, “Black Knight Bastion”.
Project TL aims to enter a beta in 2020 – also in the EU?
What kind of game is Project TL? This is not easy to say at the moment. Most of the information we have is still from the last iteration of the game, “Lineage Eternal.” However, NCSoft shelved that in 2017 and then built Project TL on its ruins.
The classes of Lineage Eternal were introduced back in 2016.
Based on what we know and suspect, Project TL is supposed to:
When Fortnite announced the release date of Season 2 in Chapter 2, professionals were concerned. But Epic Games has now managed to make the players happy: Because Epic is adopting a principle from successful titles like LoL in eSports and will let the tournament be played on an “old patch.”
What concerned the professionals? Meanwhile, most of you have probably heard that Fortnite has postponed the start of Season 2 in Chapter 2 to February 20th. Until then, the “normal” players will somehow be kept entertained with overtime challenges.
However, professionals were worried about the late date. Starting February 21st, just a day after the season starts, a $250,000 tournament in Fortnite: Battle Royale will be held at DreamHack in Anaheim. A new season usually means that significant changes are ahead, turning the game upside down. New weapons, vehicles, and even a completely new meta.
In the past, Epic showed no qualms about releasing such major patches before important tournaments. The professionals then had only a few hours to deal with the new patch.
The Infinity Blade was a controversial weapon that had to be removed from Fortnite immediately.
This is how Epic Games reacted: This time the Fortnite developers have thought about the professionals’ welfare. The Twitter account of Fortnite Competitive announced: “Since Season 2 of Chapter 2 is expected to start on February 20th, DreamHack in Anaheim will use the Fortnite build 11.40.”

Professionals, coaches, and commentators reacted positively to the tweet:
Benjyfishy from NRG writes “OMG, this is so good. Thank you!”
Fortnite caster Ballatw writes “You guys have been really great lately – thank you so much!”
An important step for eSports in Fortnite
Why is this important? What may seem like a minor comfort change for players is extremely important for professionals. In other games with high eSports involvement like League of Legends, it has long been the case that tournaments are only played with patches that professionals have been able to test sufficiently.
In Fortnite, this was not the case for a long time.
That Epic Games listened to the professionals here and also provides the certainty that Patch 11.40 will be used for DreamHack in Anaheim is important for the players. Because this allows the Fortnite eSports to be taken more seriously.
If DreamHack had been held on the new patch for Season 2, which would only have been active for a few hours, a shitstorm would likely have been preprogrammed.
About the Community Day in February 2020, Pokémon GO lets you decide. 4 Pokémon are available for selection. We will show you the advantages and disadvantages of all Pokémon and tell you which monster is the most worthwhile.
This is how the Community Day works: Starting tomorrow, on February 1st, you can vote for your favorite all day long. You will need to solve quests for your Pokémon to participate in the vote.
To make sure you have the best Pokémon to catch on Community Day, we provide you with an overview here.
All advantages and disadvantages for the Community Day in February
What to consider: When evaluating, we focus on various aspects. How useful is the Pokémon in raids? Is it strong in the new PvP League? Has the Shiny ever been available? Based on that, we have created a ranking of the 4 Pokémon.
Of course, every player also has their own attachment to the Pokémon and perhaps therefore a favorite.
Dratini
What advantages does Dratini offer? The evolution Dragonite is a Dragon-type Pokémon that is quite good in raids. It has stronger competitors like Rayquaza or Salamence, but Dragonite is still decent.
Moreover, Dragonite is likely to be a small icon for many players. After all, it has been one of the favorites of players since Generation 1.
What disadvantages does Dratini have? Many players are no longer interested in Dratini because it already had a Community Day. Those who were present in February 2018 probably already have heaps of Shinies and Candies. The Shinies are therefore quite worthless.
In addition, Dragonite learns the move Superpower. The Fighting-type attack is of no use to Dragonite in raids and arenas. In PvP, it becomes more versatile, but definitely not much better. It’s an improvement, but not a significant one.
Machop
What advantages does Machop bring? Machamp, the evolution of Machop, has always been one of the best Pokémon in the game and has long been essential in any battle team. It completely annihilates Heiteira in arenas and is truly useful.
Moreover, the Shiny Machamp strongly resembles the Hulk, as it is also green. Building an army of Hulks is therefore quite appealing.
What disadvantages does Machop have? The Shiny form of Machop is already in the game and many trainers may already own an example. They might be annoyed if their previously rare Shiny suddenly becomes “worthless” because every player can easily obtain it on Community Day.
Machamp learns Counter on Community Day. This is a Dark-type move, not much is known about it yet. It may not be interesting for raids, as there are significantly better Dark-type attackers. It could be an alternative for PvP, but that is still not known.
What advantages does Vulpix offer? At first glance, Vulpix seems pretty useless, but that’s misleading. First, it is striking that with Ninetales one of the best Shinies is coming to the game. Ninetales is gray and blue and is likely to impress some players.
Additionally, with Vulpix, you get two Pokémon for a Community Day. Alolan Vulpix will be available through raids and field research. So you could snag 2 Shinies.
Furthermore, the move Weather Ball, which both Ninetales can learn, is interesting. In PvP, Weather Ball is one of the best moves and would catapult Ninetales to the top ranks of the best Pokémon for the Super League. Those who have gotten involved in the new PvP League for trainer battles may be happy about this move.
What disadvantages does Vulpix have? The major disadvantage of Vulpix is apparent: Ninetales is completely useless in raids, and anyone not focusing on PvP will not get a new, strong Pokémon here.
There’s also the issue that Alolan Vulpix is already in the game, and many trainers may have their valuable Shiny devalued by such an event.
Rhyhorn
What advantages does Rhyhorn provide? The list of advantages for Rhyhorn is long. First, there is a noticeable difference between the shiny and normal versions of Rhyhorn. Rhyperior is even partially yellow and looks quite special.
Additionally, Rhyhorn is the only Pokémon in the selection that does not have an available Shiny yet. This would give every player an advantage.
Rhyperior learns the move Rock Wrecker, which is not yet available in the game. While Rhyperior may not surpass Rampardos, it could come close. If the move is as effective as Water Gun or Aura Sphere, it would be the second best Rock-type attacker. This type is often needed in raids and is therefore always useful.
What disadvantages does Rhyhorn have? Those who focus completely on PvP might be a bit disappointed here. However, this can only be clearly stated once the values of the move are known.
Additionally, it should be noted that even if Rhyperior climbs among the best Rock attackers, it will not be the best attacker. Rampardos will likely remain number 1.
Until the Community Day starts on February 22nd, there may still be more events waiting for us:
In the Pokémon MMO Temtem, hatching and breeding new Temtems play an important role. In this guide, we will tell you everything important about breeding.
Why should you breed Temtems? Through the breeding system, you can obtain Temtems that you can shape according to your wishes. This way, you can manipulate the attributes that we have already introduced to you in detail to obtain the perfect Temtem.
Additionally, strong attacks can be passed down through breeding that a Temtem otherwise might not be able to learn at all.
When can you start breeding? Temtems can be bred at a breeding center on Omni Islands at the northern Canopfad, also known as Route 5.
You reach the islands after leaving Deniz by airship. You must complete the first dojo and obtain the airship ticket with the surfboard.
A Temtem Pair for Breeding
How does breeding work? For breeding, you need to do little more than drop off two parents at the breeding center and then wait. However, you need to keep a few things in mind:
There must always be one male and one female Temtem.
The two Temtems must be compatible, meaning of the same type (for example, Electric+Electric or Wind+Wind).
For Temtems with multiple attributes, both count for breeding.
The type of the bred Temtem is determined by the mother Temtem.
How long does a hatching process take? Generating the egg takes about 25 minutes in real time and even only 15 minutes if both parents are the same Temtem.
The hatching, on the other hand, strongly depends on the type of the Temtem. The process takes between 5 and 45 minutes. Unlike Pokémon, however, no steps need to be walked.
How often can Temtems breed? In the interface, you may have noticed a tree at the right side of the Temtems. This indicates, with its fullness, how fertile the Temtems still are. Ideally, the tree has 7 leaves, allowing 7 offspring to be bred.
Freshly caught Temtems usually have a full tree, while creatures with many SV-values may have lower fertility.
The fertility level also affects the newborn Temtem. If it was conceived with low fertility, it starts with a lower level.
Manipulating Attributes
How to manipulate the attributes? During breeding, a new Temtem emerges, which can inherit the SV-values of the parents. This works as follows:
There is a 40% chance that the better SV-value of the parents will be inherited.
There is a 40% chance that the average value of the parents will be passed down.
There is a 20% chance that the worse value will be passed down.
So if you have two Temtems with exactly opposite SV-value distributions, your chances are very good that the new Temtem will have better values. SV-values can only be improved through breeding or with very rare items.
Example:
The original Tuwai has 172 SV-values, the Paharac has 215.
The new Tuwai will, on average, have 207 SV-values.
With some luck, it can, however, get significantly more and reach up to 260 SV-values.
With the help of items, you can also positively influence the luck.
Targeted Attribute Passing: At the breeding center, you can also buy items that can be used during breeding. This allows you to enforce the passing down of certain SV-values. To do this, you give the respective item to the respective parent Temtem before breeding.
Theoretically, one could create a Temtem that contains all SV-values at 50 through many steps. However, this is extremely laborious and expensive.
What about Luma Temtems? There is also a chance for Luma Temtems in breeding. These are special versions that automatically have 3 SV-values maximized. They are also perfect for further breeding. The chances are as follows:
1:6,000 when you do not use a Luma Temtem.
1:600 when one of the parents is a Luma Temtem.
1:60 when both parents are Luma Temtems.
Luma Temtems can also appear in the wild and even your three starter Temtems can theoretically be a Luma version right from the start.
But no matter how good your Temtem ends up being, it is just as important that you master the synergies in battle:
The US magazine Forbes has published a list of the ten highest-earning gamers in the world. The exciting part: none of the top 10 gamers are pure professionals. They are all influencers: many are content creators on YouTube, Twitch, Mixer, or other platforms.
What is this list about? The list shows the ten people who earn the most money worldwide from playing video games. All ten are influencers who make their money through YouTube, streaming, or other platforms.
The list comes from the US magazine Forbes. Forbes is known for putting a lot of research into such lists: Their list of the “richest people in the USA”, the Forbes 400, is legendary. However, the information on the site is based on sources and estimates from experts.
How do they make their money? None of the gamers is a pro gamer, at least not primarily. You can make a lot of money gaming professionally, but apparently not as much as with Twitch, Mixer, YouTube, and so on. Even the highest prize money in eSports is not enough for a spot on the list. Sorry, Bugha.
Dota 2 awards huge prize money, yet even that is not enough for the top 10.
Although players like shroud and Ninja also participate in tournaments or were previously pro gamers, they now earn most of their money from streaming, representing brands, and advertising. According to Forbes, the gamers together earned over 121 million US dollars in 2019.

The MK-2 Carbine is one of the One-Shot weapons in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and can bring a lot of fun and very satisfying kills with a little practice. Here are two strong setups for the DMR.
What type of weapon is the MK2 Carbine? This large weapon comes with a lever for reloading and is a typical American carbine.
The one-shot killer rewards precise hits to the head or chest with a guaranteed kill, but does not offer as much range as a real sniper rifle. However, you have high mobility and can achieve excellent values in ADS speed.
For me, this weapon was the optimal entry into the playstyle with higher ranges and large sights in Modern Warfare. But even at shorter distances, the carbine is fun to use.
The MK2 Carbine does not necessarily play like a sniper rifle. It relies rather on mobility.
What do the stats look like? The carbine comes with a damage multiplier for the upper torso area, allowing it to score secure one-shots here.
The listed values all come with this multiplier.
Rate of fire: 108 rounds per minute
Damage: 108 to 20 m / 84 over 20 m
Rounds per kill: 1 to 20 m / 2 over 20 m
Time-to-kill (ms): 0 to 20 m / 0.556 to 20 m
Reload time: 0.2 s + 0.53 s per round
Reload speed: 0.2 s + 0.45 s / round
In the English video by YouTuber “TheXclusiveAce”, you can find more details about the weapon.

The best attachments, setups, and builds for the MK2 Carbine
What should I consider when modifying? When it comes to the weapon, it’s all about the first shot. Therefore, you should choose the attachments that ensure a quick and secure hit.
Additionally, the perk “Focus” helps to have a chance against players with faster weapons. This perk reduces your character’s reaction to enemy hits.
The MK2 Carbine has almost no recoil, but takes a long time to shoot the next round after one. Use a sight for better accuracy and choose the other attachments to maximize your ADS speed.
Setup 1 – For beginners
Barrel: FSS 18″ Factory
Sight: Mini Reflex Sight Cronen LP945
Stock: Ammo Belt
Perk: Full Metal Jacket
The MK2 Carbine only comes with 50 weapon levels and is therefore leveled up significantly faster than the M4, which has 71 weapon levels.
What is this setup good for? You can unlock all 4 attachments relatively early and get a good one-shot rifle.
With the small sight, you can benefit from the already high ADS speed by default. However, you can also try it without a sight. Then you have a really good ADS speed, but you shouldn’t be more than about 25 meters away from the opponent to be able to land one-shot kills.
The full metal jacket gives the weapon very good penetration and you can land painful hits even behind objects and finish off injured opponents.
What is this setup good for? This setup is recommended by “TheXclusiveAce” and emphasizes the weapon’s strength at short distances. The special ammo belt stock gives you 6 rounds more in reserve, which can be invaluable behind enemy lines.
With the perk “Focus” and the small reflex sight, you improve your accuracy against enemies who have already noticed you and might even be shooting at you.
The silencer and the 18″ barrel increase your one-shot range by almost 30%, and you can take out opponents even at over 25 meters with chest shots.
This weapon is very suitable for modes with objectives, such as Headquarters. Play aggressively and try to flank the opponents. If you come from the side, you can take out 2 or 3 surprised enemies before they even notice you. But it can also score well in TDM.
Even at short distances, you have chances with the carbine. But make sure to take the perk “Focus” with you; otherwise, you’ll shake too much from enemy hits.
What else fits into the build? Since you are operating behind enemy lines, you also need perks that support you here.
Blue Perk: Battle Hardened – Lets you survive enemy explosives, and with the “Focus” perk, you can start shooting right away.
Red Perk: Ghost – Together with the silencer, this perk helps you remain undetected by enemy technology.
Yellow Perk: Amped – This allows you to use dead silence 33% faster.
Field Upgrade: Dead Silence – While this bonus is active, you are much quieter and a bit faster.
Setup 3 – For aspiring snipers
Barrel: FSS 24″ Factory
Laser: Tactical Laser
Sight: VLK 3.0x Scope
Stock: FSS MK2 Sports Stock
Perk: Focus
What is this setup good for? This variant also rewards aggressive play, but here you can position yourself a step behind your teammates.
This is my preferred setup for the MK2 Carbine. The barrel increases the one-shot range to almost 30 meters, and quick-scope kills with chest shots are incredibly fun. For longer distances, the 3x scope helps with headshots.
With the scope and barrel, you lose some ADS speed, but if you balance that out with the Sports Stock and tactical laser, you are still relatively fast in aiming.
This setup is great for all modes where you can operate a little behind a team, like Ground War or Domination. With quick hits and kills, you can support the advance, but you are also strong enough to take out several opponents quickly.
The carbine functions as a tool in the Ground War mode at all ranges. 8 tips for Ground War.
What else fits into the build? To be able to support the team, rely on good equipment and looting.
Blue Perk: Looting – When it gets a bit hectic, you might lose a magazine. This way, you can get resupplied.
Red Perk: Resupply – Together with thermite grenades, no tank in Ground War will scare you anymore.
Yellow Perk: Shrapnel – Gives you an extra grenade. Always helpful.
Field Upgrade: EMP Drone – Surprise your opponents with a drone strike. Used correctly, you can not only take out enemy equipment but also get easy kills.
Advantages and disadvantages of the MK2 Carbine
Pros
One-shot kills in the chest area
Very good ADS speed for a one-shot rifle
Almost no recoil
Cons
Marksman rifle with relatively short range
Long reload time
Allows very few mistakes due to low rate of fire
How do the DMRs compare to each other?
Except for the crossbow, the 3 DMRs each serve a niche, and the MK2 Carbine stands right in the middle.
The EBR-14 is generally faster but only gets kills with a single hit on headshots without special ammunition. The Kar98k is almost a sniper rifle. Slower than the carbine, but it can also achieve one-shot kills with chest shots at high ranges.
The carbine wants to be a bit of both and does its job quite well. It’s fun to take out multiple opponents in succession from a standstill with quick scopes.
However, it also requires a lot of practice. When I play with the carbine, I usually don’t use an automatic rifle that day. The behaviors when aiming are too different, and warming up with both can sometimes take forever. But when the hits do land, you can hardly wipe the grin off your face.
The weapon selection in Modern Warfare is vast and caters to many playstyles. Experiment and try some matches with new weapons. Because even if something works well, it might work even better with a different weapon.
The US WoW guilds have lost their lead in the “World First” race for Ny’alotha. The European guild Method has caught up and other guilds are on the verge of doing so.
As usual, the US guilds had an advantage of nearly half a day due to different regional maintenance times, which brought Limit (now “Complexity Limit”) to the top of the race – with a lead of 7 bosses. However, this lead is now spent.
Therefore, the lead is not just an advantage: The fact that US guilds can start earlier than Europeans is a major criticism that has existed for years in the World First race in WoW.
While the pure time advantage is certainly a clear benefit, there are also some mitigating factors. The US guilds often act as “beta testers” for the bosses and encounter bugs and other problems. Blizzard swiftly pushes hotfixes, allowing EU guilds to have a mostly smooth fight.
In addition, EU guilds can copy the strategies of US guilds and thus catch up faster until they are on equal footing.
This is the current status: As of now (January 31, 1:45 PM), Limit and Method are tied. Since Limit defeated the 9th boss earlier, they are technically still in the lead, but that could change soon.
Currently, only Limit and Method have reached the 10th boss Il’gynoth, while the guild Pieces is still working on Drestagath, thus being at 8/12.
The current ranking according to wowprogress is as follows:
Image source: wowprogress (as of: January 31, 1:45 PM)
Boss No. 10 proves to be the first major hurdle
What is the current problem? Il’gynoth is the first boss fight in Ny’alotha that has lasted more than 24 hours, making it the first real major hurdle.
In the boss fight, various organs of the boss need to be killed while also adhering to a tight time limit.
The current best attempt by Limit is at 20%. It looks like Il’gynoth could fall later today, thereby clearing the way to the two final enemies: the tank of N’Zoth and N’Zoth himself.
How many are watching the race? Although the “World First” kill of N’Zoth is probably still a few days away, the race is already captivating many viewers. On the Method stream, even during lunchtime, 50,000 viewers are already watching live and experiencing how various professional guilds attempt the currently hardest bosses in World of Warcraft.
It remains exciting. Once again, Method and Complexity Limit are in a head-to-head race and currently both have very good chances of winning.

For Year 4, For Honor has announced major changes. It bids farewell to the Year Pass and introduces a new system with the Battle Pass. Furthermore, there are rough release times for new heroes.
What’s new: Ubisoft has now announced its plans for For Honor, which they want to implement in 2020. Year 4 – “Year of Reckoning” begins on Thursday, February 6. A lot is coming up in the following months, such as a revised Battle Pass system with free and paid content, more customization options, additional heroes, and more.
The new Battle Pass in For Honor
What changes with the Pass? Recently, For Honor relied on a Year Pass. In Year 3, it included early access to new heroes, elite gear for these fighters, scavenger chests, and more.
But in 2020, they are focusing on a Battle Pass system, similar to Fortnite. The Pass includes a free path and a paid path. You can see in advance what content you can unlock by purchasing the Battle Pass. This makes it easier for you to decide whether the purchase is justified.
The Pass will have 100 levels, where you can unlock different content.
This is what the new Battle Pass looks like in For Honor – rewards in the Free and Premium Pass
What content does the Battle Pass bring? In the free Pass, which is available to all players, you can expect:
Helm ornaments
Steel
Color schemes
Champion status
Emblems and more
In the Premium Pass, you will receive:
Unique customization rewards
New signatures
New weapons
New executions
New effects and more
This content is said to have a value of 1 million steel.
Previously, you received rewards in For Honor as random drops after matches or from scavenger chests – which was rather opaque. Instead, you can clearly see in the Battle Pass what content awaits you and at how many levels you unlock it.
In the video, the developers introduce the new Pass and further content for Year 4, the Year of Reckoning, in more detail.

When are new heroes coming? Ubisoft has already confirmed that For Honor will receive two new heroes. The first hero will appear during Season 2 of Year 4, the other in Season 4 of Year 4.
Who these mysterious characters are, what roles they belong to, or further details were not disclosed by Ubisoft. As usual, you can purchase them at release for real money or in-game currency steel.
Balance: The developers want to continue to respond to player feedback on balance in Year 4. The test environment is an important tool for this.
Tournaments: For each season, Ubisoft will initiate an official tournament. This will give players the chance to be in the spotlight.
How is it going for For Honor right now?
Player numbers: On Steam, the average player numbers for For Honor have been gradually declining in recent months. In August 2019, there was an increase of about 39% in player numbers, raising the average simultaneous players to 4928 – at the same time there was an event in the Epic Games Store that offered For Honor for free.
In the last 30 days, an average of about 2853 players were playing For Honor simultaneously on Steam.
What do the reviews say? Looking at the reviews on Steam, players have been satisfied lately.
All Reviews on Steam are 58% positive and lead to a result of “Mixed”
Recent Reviews on Steam from the last 30 days are 80% positive and lead to a result of “Very Positive”
What is praised? Especially for players looking for a challenge, For Honor is said to be a lot of fun. If you find your footing and are not deterred by a few defeats but instead show fighting spirit, then you are in the right place.
The graphics and combat animations are also praised.
What is disliked? Overall, For Honor has a difficult entry that might easily deter beginners. Additionally, the community is said to be toxic.
Many players also write that the balance among the various heroes does not work well. The new heroes initially come into the game overpowered.
Are the new contents once again a reason for you to take a look at For Honor? Or are you looking for new multiplayer games?
The MMORPG Astellia was released on January 30 on Steam. In this context, we at MeinMMO posed some questions about the future of Astellia. We were particularly impressed by the guild arena for 96 players.
What does Astellia plan for 2020? The MMORPG has some significant plans for the current year. In the first six months, the following content is expected to make its way into the game:
A guild arena where matches can be held in 16v16 or 48v48.
An equipment system for the Astels, which, according to the developers, is reminiscent of the Diablo 2 Mercenary system.
Brand new raid content for 12 players that has never been present in Korea.
Expansions for the legendary dungeons
A new hunting area
A Valentine’s Day event
In the long term, a level increase, adjustments to the PvP area Avalon, and more dungeons, raids, and hunting grounds are planned.
Why are the plans for 2020 so interesting? Astellia had a rocky start in the West, and many saw Bless 2 in the game. However, Astellia proved to be a solid MMORPG, albeit with little innovation and long-term motivation.
After the shutdown in Korea, many suspected the end in the West as well. However, the developers remain optimistic and discussed with us the issues that a typical MMORPG faces.
Keeping up with the community’s speed is difficult
How is Astellia currently? MeinMMO was informed by the developers that the player population of Astellia has remained very stable since launch.
With the new content planned for 2020 and the launch on Steam, new players are to be excited about the MMORPG.
What are Astellia’s problems? When asked where the biggest problems with Astellia lie, the developers pointed mainly to player consumption:
Keeping up with the community’s content consumption is the major challenge that all MMORPGs face. Astellia is no exception.
As we work to bring Astellia to more regions, producing new content takes longer. We are trying to find a good balance between expansion and game growth.
In this context, the expansion refers to the release of Astellia in Russia, where closed beta tests with Russian voiceovers are currently taking place.
Upon inquiry, the developers confirmed that work is still ongoing. The art team is still refining the final assets and is now trying to focus more on that again.
Release on Steam – with some hurdles
What happened during the Steam release? The release of Astellia on Steam was rocky on January 30. There were initially problems from the developers’ side, causing the MMORPG to be offline for longer than planned. Furthermore, during the course of the day, there were also issues with Steam itself.
Another point of criticism on Steam is the way Astellia is being sold there. To play the MMORPG, one of three packages must be purchased, just like on the website itself.
However, the packages are officially sold as DLC and not as a standalone game. This means there is no option to return the game if the user is dissatisfied with it. Whether this will change is currently unknown.
How do the first Steam reviews fare? Currently, Astellia has 49 reviews, of which 65% are positive. Positive aspects include:
It is a classic theme park MMO
There is pleasant progress
The endgame mainly consists of dungeons
No pay-to-win
However, the reviews criticize:
Server issues
The weak graphics
The DLC problem mentioned earlier
It will be interesting to see how the reviews and player numbers develop in the coming weeks.
What is your opinion on Astellia? Will you give the game another chance due to the content roadmap and release on Steam?
Overwatch will make drastic changes to improve eSports. In the future, heroes will be banned and there will be many more changes to the balance.
Looking at the criticism from Overwatch players, there is one point that is repeatedly mentioned: Changes to the balance happen too infrequently, leading to a stagnation of the meta.
For weeks and months, you see the same hero combinations in ranked mode, which leads to frustration and boredom. But Overwatch wants to change that and plans radical measures.
Where does the information come from? Blizzard has released a new “Developer Update,” with the video currently listed as “Unlisted” on YouTube. It can only be accessed via the direct link.
In the video, Jeff Kaplan, the Game Director of Overwatch, talks about two major changes that are supposed to take place in the live version of Overwatch in the coming weeks:
Hero Pools
“Experimental” mode

What are hero pools? Starting with Season 21, the March season of Overwatch, Blizzard wants to introduce hero pools. This means that certain heroes will not be available in ranked mode and cannot be selected by players.
This hero pool is supposed to change weekly, so that all players will have to forgo their mains regularly and will be forced to try out new strategies.
However: Jeff Kaplan also emphasizes that this change could be reversed if it does not achieve the desired success. Currently, however, they are confident that this will increase the fun of the game and bring more excitement to the league and competitive matches.
Experiments to shake up the meta
What is the experimental mode? Occasionally, Overwatch wants to add an “Experimental” card to the selection of game modes. These are changes that the developers are experimenting with. For example, there could be balance changes to heroes or adjustments to existing game modes that are not yet live in other modes.
The goal here is to make “aggressive changes to shake up the meta before it can stagnate”. They are directly implementing player feedback here.
Basically, this is a variation of the PTR (which still exists) with the advantage that all players can participate and discuss the changes. Additionally, you can earn loot boxes normally in the experimental mode, which could be an additional incentive to try out the changes.
The tested changes in the experimental mode could be quite drastic and will not always make it into the live version of the game. As the name suggests, they want to experiment here and gather a lot of player feedback.
These innovations should also be active in Overwatch 2 if they are well received.
Overwatch is changing its direction: The planned changes are quite drastic. Previously, the developers said that they would never want to ban certain heroes. A hero pool is now just that – a ban system established by Blizzard and not by the players themselves.
What do you think of the planned changes? The perfect solution to keep Overwatch fresh? Or does it need even more drastic cuts?
The European LoL team Rogue has hired someone who runs a large Twitter account pretending to be Satan. But shortly after, their first “professional tweeter” s8n gets banned. The “League of Legends” team is now calling for his release.
What an action? On January 28, the Twitter account of the LoL team Rogue reported that they had hired their first “Pro Tweeter,” s8n (essentially Satan). It only cost a soul to hire him.

Apparently, they expected a boost on social media from this commitment: This pro tweeter has 2.3 million followers – the LoL team’s Twitter account only has 167,000.
Hiring a tweeter was something new, no team had done that before. While it is common for brands to collaborate with influencers, these are usually YouTubers, Twitch streamers, or Instagram models, not professional tweeters.
As a statement on why they hired him, the organization Rogue replied: “Why not?”
Whoever plays Yasuo -> Straight to hell.
This is what S8n did as a pro tweeter: Subsequently, Rogue handed over the Twitter account to their new employee Satan, who then tweeted: “If you pick Yasuo, you land directly in hell.”

Allegedly, it was only planned for Satan to take over the account for one day, but they then wanted to “keep him longer.”
Because Satan is not evil, but just misunderstood.
Why was he banned by Twitter? Just a few days after s8n was signed by Rogue, Twitter banned his account with over 2.3 million followers. Allegedly, s8n broke Twitter rules.
A picture circulated that the account was banned for violating rules on “platform manipulation and spam.”

What is this account doing? The Twitter account s8n (Satan) is a parody account of someone pretending to be the devil. He addresses his followers as “your sinner” and makes fun of the Christian faith.
For example, he tweeted: “Did you hold the hand of someone you weren’t married to? Welcome to hell!”
Occasionally, the devil also posts products through affiliate links, so he earns money when someone buys the product through the link.
The hype around Satan began in 2019. Suddenly, the channel grew by more than 100,000 followers a month. Source: Socialblade
According to an article by Onezero, a 26-year-old Brit is behind the account, who enjoys portraying Satan on Twitter. S8n apparently experienced a boom when Donald Trump was elected as US president. Satan then referred to Trump as his “chosen son.”
The PvP league in Pokémon GO has started and many players do not want to spend too much Stardust on it. Therefore, we show you Pokémon that are easy to get and still perform well in PvP.
This is what is to be shown here: We introduce you to PvP teams that are easy to build and still convince in the new PvP league. You do not need to invest much Stardust to level them up, but can use them directly for battle.
In addition, the second charge move for many of these Pokémon does not cost much, so you can certainly go ahead and teach them the move.
Cheap Pokémon for the Great League
Team 1:
Altaria (Fire Breath, Sky Attack, Dragon Pulse)
Wigglytuff (Charm, Lick, Ice Beam)
Swampert (Mud Shot, Mud Bomb, Blizzard)
Anyone who has collected the 400 candies for Altaria can use it effectively in the PvP league right away. For Altaria to be useful in the PvP league, it should, depending on its IV, be between level 26 and 32. So, you should not evolve an extremely low-level Swablu. The second charge move costs only 10,000 Stardust and the quick move Fire Breath already destroys a Pokémon or two. It’s hard to be resistant to its charge moves. So you will almost always hit somewhat effectively.
Wigglytuff is quite easy to obtain. You just need to evolve a fairly high-level Jigglypuff. Only starting from level 27 does Wigglytuff reach CPs just below 1,500. If you have such a Wigglytuff, it is especially good against Altaria, which you often see in the league. Especially the quick move Charm is at least somewhat useful against almost every type.
Swampert can reach around 1,500 CP at level 25 and Mudkip is found in almost every corner, especially in sunny weather. Swampert learns Mud Shot and is thus extremely useful. The quick move is fast and charges its charge moves well. Blizzard is likely to surprise many opponents and Mud Bomb can be used quickly.
All the Stunfisk that you catch are finally useful. While Stolloss remains useless, Steelix is not to be underestimated in PvP. Starting from level 25, it is just below 1,500 CP. Steel Pokémon are excellent in PvP mode because they have many resistances. Additionally, Steelix can compete with Altaria and easily defeat many other monsters.
If you obtain Alolan Raichu from the raid, it will have about 1300 CP. With some Stardust, you can get close to 1500 CP. Alolan Raichu is especially great for baiting the opponent’s shields. Wild Charge is charged quite quickly. Grass Knot is important here because it allows it to fend off popular counters like Swampert well.
Noctowl is easy to obtain thanks to the numerous Hoothoots. Starting from level 25, a Noctowl is just below 1,500 CP. The owl Pokémon is surprisingly resilient in battle and its flying attacks are effective against fighting, bug, and grass types. Due to its resilience, it is useful against almost every Pokémon.
Team 3:
Lanturn (Spark, Hydro Pump, Thunderbolt)
Panzaeron (Air Slash, Sky Attack, Flash Cannon)
Beedrill (Poison Jab, Mud Bomb, X-Scissor)
Lanturn is not found on every corner, but if you have a Lanturn, there’s not much more to change. Already at level 25 it reaches around 1,500 CP and is especially a strong counter against the numerous Panzaeron and Azumarill currently used. Although the second charge move costs 50,000 Stardust, it is not that critical. Especially the electric attacks are important.
Panzaeron can be directly caught in the wild with the corresponding CP and is therefore ideal for the PvP league. It does not really need the second charge move Flash Cannon, which costs 75,000 Stardust. It is enough to attack with the two flying attacks, as Panzaeron dominates almost every Pokémon and has very few weaknesses.
Beedrill should be in every player’s lineup. After all, there is Caterpie at almost every corner. Starting from level 28, Beedrill can reach just below 1,500 CP and is especially worth it to destroy the opponents’ shields. X-Scissor is a fast charge move and also Mud Bomb deals good damage.
What is important: These Pokémon are only as good as the trainers are. If you have the wrong moves on the monsters or simply do not exploit effective damage, then these Pokémon cannot shine either. So pay close attention to the moves and keep in mind what is effective against your opponent.
