The survival MMO Population Zero had a rocky start in Early Access on Steam. Technical issues and missing features led to many negative reviews. However, the problems are set to be addressed, as the new roadmap reveals.
In Population Zero, interaction between players plays a crucial role. However, many “social features” were missing at launch.
All areas of the game will be adjusted in May
What has changed since release? On May 6 and May 8, small patches were released with the following changes:
Through the Steam interface, players can now join friends on their server, even if the actual server limit has been reached or they are at different levels.
Some tutorial quests have been expanded.
Adjustments have been made to the UI.
Numerous bugs have been fixed.
The German localization has been adjusted.
In addition, a roadmap for May has been published. It provides insight into changes that will follow in the next 3 weeks.
What changes are still planned for May? Throughout the month, the developers of Enplex plan adjustments to almost every area of the game:
Optimizations for frame rate will be implemented in each upcoming update.
Adjustments to the progression system, crafting system, movement system, and tech trees are planned.
The behavior and difficulty of mobs will be adjusted.
The missing key mappings are set to be added on May 21.
The animations of player characters are to be improved.
The update on May 28 will introduce an interface for playing with friends.
The roadmap for Population Zero in May.
Are these adjustments enough? The planned changes to Population Zero address the areas that are currently heavily criticized on Steam. If the developers implement all planned adjustments, Population Zero could be in a significantly better state by the end of May.
Additionally, the roadmap for June with further adjustments is expected to be released shortly. Afterwards, an overview of the plans for the entire year 2020 will follow.
In the RP of World of Warcraft, you can do a lot wrong. This starts with the character description. The worst behaviors of this kind are presented here.
Those who know me, Cortyn from MeinMMO, a bit, know that I love roleplay. Whether in World of Warcraft, Star Wars: The Old Republic, or in WildStar. Without roleplay, I lose interest in most MMORPGs. Therefore, I have also gathered a lot of RP experience over the last 15 years, especially in WoW.
Along with some quite eccentric character concepts, one also encounters recurring problems with jealous fellow players or the most annoying flag descriptions and blunders. The focus here will be on the latter.
What is a flag? In World of Warcraft, a “flag” is basically the representative symbol of the character. Since character creation in WoW is still quite meager, players use various addons like “TotalRP3” to give their character an additional description. In this, players write about the external traits of their character, such as eye color, visible scars, physical condition, and other obvious features that are relevant for RP. Some also provide a few OOC hints (ooc = “out of character”).
In the flag, one can provide many details so that other players can get an immediate first impression of the character.
Over the years, there have been some recurrent errors and issues with such flags that make you want to avoid the corresponding character and player immediately. So it was time for a list of the “6 tips to ensure that you won’t make any connections in WoW RP”.
1. “IC=IC, OOC=OOC”
The number of times I have seen this notice surely reaches into the thousands. Most of the time, it is not hidden somewhere in the flag, but boldly stands as the first “warning” when viewing a character’s description.
The basic statement of this is of course correct, namely that things discussed IC (that is “in character”) should also only be understood that way. At the same time, information obtained from OOC (like conversations with the player in whispers and not in character) should not be mixed up. If my character insults your character, then that is an issue between the characters, not the players.
But everyone who thinks for just 5 cents knows this. Just like everyone knows that actors in a movie can hate each other to death but can be best friends in their personal lives.
With some “notes”, you can immediately out yourself as an RP snob.
That’s like telling a football player: “By the way, you only get points if the ball lands in the opponent’s goal!”
What one expresses with “IC=IC, OOC=OOC” is actually just the thought: “Hello, I think you all are rather limited and poor roleplayers who haven’t quite understood this yet, but I have. If you play with me, please stick to the basic RP rules, thanks.”
Yes, that makes you really want to play with such a person.
2. “Flag in progress”
Empty flags make roleplayers sad. At least some basic information is appreciated to get a picture of the character. Players who are a bit lazier know this too. But fortunately, there are the magic 3 words that one can simply use to circumvent the problem: “Flag in progress”.
But since we all know that the effort to write a few lines about one’s character is akin to a doctoral thesis, many players choose this escape route. They simply write “Flag in progress” in their description and leave it standing like that for weeks and months, as if it were a task on par with the effort of Berlin airport construction.
I always picture a classic author with a typewriter who is currently writing his 700-page manuscript titled “Character description of Âlphákêvén the Illidari” and has already thrown away 12 versions of it in the trash bins behind him.
Alternative excuses are also quite popular, such as: “WoW/My dog/the climate change deleted my flag, new one in development.” Of course, that will also remain like that for months.
Honestly: It’s better to leave your flag completely empty than to write in that ridiculous excuse that nobody will believe after 3 days.
In RP, you can get upset about many things. It’s kind of part of it and is a favorite hobby of the roleplayer.
3. “Is permanently accompanied by two guards”
With this information, I also have to take a deep breath and would prefer to lead my character in the opposite direction. Because usually, these “two guards” are not other players, but imaginary NPCs.
This somehow reveals a small weakness for the corresponding player.
I like characters who have a bit more power. Especially on “my” RP realm, there are some cool leaders of gangs and guilds who always show up with two to three other players, thus creating a threatening presence. This is really cool for RP involving crime, city guards, or nobility.
But when these guards “do not really” exist, it shouts to the whole world: “Unfortunately, I haven’t managed to convince others of my concept and my idea, but I still want to have a nearly untouchable character!”
That rarely invites one to play.
4. “Titles and equipment earned in RP”
For the uninitiated, it should be clarified that this indication is not about in-game titles and hefty loot from dungeons. It’s about “roleplay titles” and equipment that brings certain advantages in the game and is usually overpowered in conflict RP or directly avoids the emergence of conflicts.
So if “Glevenkalle, the heir to the throne of Lordaeron” stands in front of me and his flag states that he possesses items such as:
An amulet that makes him permanently immune to magic
A ring that automatically inflicts pain on people with bad intentions
A bracelet that unravels warlocks and demons within a 100-meter radius
An intimate piercing that immediately transports him to a safe parallel world in case of danger
You can imagine how great the motivation is to even talk to such a character.
Especially, I find this addition “titles and items earned in RP” quite cowardly. Generally, someone writes this in the flag when he or she already has a faint premonition that the title and items may not quite match what a player character should have in terms of power and influence in RP. But it doesn’t matter because it was “earned in RP” and that legitimizes the greatest nonsense.
5. “Flawless” skin
Okay, here I have to elaborate a bit. Spelling mistakes happen. I know that, and maybe even here in the text, there is one or the other. But there are a handful of typos that trigger me so intensely that even three monks with the “Ring of Peace” stacked on top of each other can barely calm me down.
My absolute favorite is the word “flawless”, which is supposed to mean “spotless”. Usually, in a flag it describes the beautiful skin of an elf, free of scars or other blemishes. Often, there are also “silken hair” and a “seductive voice”.
I swear to you, when I once read “Has a flawless face” in a flag, I fell into shock for almost 5 minutes.
Elves are often the ones with the “flawless” appearance.
Once again: Spelling mistakes happen and occur quite often in RP. But if you want to describe a character that visually comes close to perfection, then at least let someone familiar take a quick look at the flag to filter out the grossest blunders. Otherwise, it always feels like Goldhain-level.
6. Clichés that are supposed to make the character interesting
The last point is actually a whole collection of things that have crept into RP flags over the years and never really disappear. This includes “edgy” sayings of the character as well as terrible clichés or creative outpourings in the form of poems. “Charsongs” that are taken from some anime openings are also very popular.
Imagine the first thing you see from a character are such sentences:
“Still waters run deep.”
“Appearances can be deceiving.”
“Bright lights cast the strongest shadows.”
“More than one can sense at first glance.”
“Charsong: Overlord Season 3 Voracity”
Basically, it just shows the player’s worry that someone might not find their character interesting enough at first glance. That comes with the fear that they might just overlook their “great, dramatic, and gloomy” backstory.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uhlfcFzsLGU
Great “charsong” – suddenly you are pulled out of the RP. We’ve understood that you like anime.
“Hello, my character has a dark secret that you don’t see right away, but get involved!” would probably be the fitting translation for that.
The thing with the exciting secrets is, however, that they instantly lose their appeal when it is so obviously written on the characters’ foreheads.
Don’t take it too seriously: Despite all the above points, it should be noted that in RP, everyone can basically do whatever they want. As long as you find fellow players who enjoy it, all the things mentioned above are perfectly fine. And when in doubt, it’s always better to give another character a chance first – maybe it’s not so bad, and they could be a great play partner.
Over the years, I’ve certainly become “looser” and I occasionally turn a blind eye in RP or give players a chance that I might have avoided directly years ago. Nevertheless, the points mentioned above still make me flinch from time to time.
Do you also have certain “triggers” in roleplay or in chat with other players that instantly drive you up the wall?

How do you define a “good shooter”? What aspects of the game must the developers not mess up under any circumstances? Share your thoughts.
Multiplayer shooters are among the most popular and played genres in gaming. Millions of gamers sit down at their keyboards or pick up controllers in the evening and blow off steam in online matches, whether alone or in teams with their friends.
However, although many shooters use the same gameplay features, we find them to be of varying quality. They differ in the execution of these elements, which have a direct impact on our gaming experience.
Multiplayer shooters come in all shapes and sizes. They often blend with other genres such as survival.
This is where our subjective perception comes into play: some of these features hold more importance for us than others, as they have a greater effect on our enjoyment of the game.
While one feature may be crucial for one player, it may be secondary for another.
So let it out: What do you think makes a good multiplayer shooter? What are the absolutely essential gameplay elements that developers must not mess up?
How can I vote? You can cast your votes in the survey tool below. Since the question about the most important features may not have simple answers, you have the opportunity to vote multiple times. You can select up to 7 answer options in the survey.
If you miss any important gameplay feature in the list, you can post it in the comments and explain why it is essential for you in a multiplayer shooter.
The survey ends on May 10th. Have fun voting!

The release of GTA 6 is highly anticipated by players. We show you what activities or ideas GTA 6 should take from its predecessor GTA 5 / GTA Online. They are well received by our editor Patrick Freese and by players.
What is it about? Before the release of GTA 6, I am already thinkingabout how the game should look. Especially with game design, there are some decisions to be made that will make the game “good” for me and other players.
For this summary, I have thought about it myself and also considered the opinions of players on social networks.
This is about “side activities.” So nothing fundamental like tuning cars, but things you do alongside all the missions, game modes, and races. I assume that missions, heists, exciting ways to earn money, roleplay opportunities, and more are desired in the game. Here, it is about what happens in the background.
Please, GTA 6, bring us these activities
Keep in mind that this order of activities was chosen arbitrarily and does not represent a ranking by priority.
Darts, Tennis, Golf
Why is this good? These activities all fall into a category, which is why I combine them here. I have a lot of fun with these sports challenges, and at the same time they are competitive. Whether you are on the tennis court with friends or throwing darts at the board with random players in the bar. Even on the golf course, you really have to put in some effort.
These activities really divert from the “everyday life” in GTA Online and clear your head after you have fought your way through heists with randoms or friends.
I would be looking forward to these and other sports activities in GTA 6 that serve as a “fun distraction.” Maybe cousin Roman will even stop by for a round of bowling, or you could set up some foosball tables.
Tennis in GTA Online – I spent entire afternoons on the court
Session Competitions
Why is this good? Activities often pop up in the sessions of GTA Online. These are challenges such as:
Do the longest wheelie
Open your parachute as close to the ground as possible
Cause the most damage
Steal the most cars
Achieve the highest top speed
Such spontaneous actions easily bring money into your account. Additionally, players with little preparation time need to be quick to compete with other players in this session.
I would like such challenges for GTA 6, because they involve various areas of GTA (driving cars quickly, flying through checkpoints with planes, wreaking havoc in parking lots) and they nicely bridge the waiting time for friends or other activities.
They also ensure that sessions do not become boring and the competitive spirit remains in online mode. Another advantage is that you don’t have to join these freemode events through player search, but every player in a session can automatically participate. This eliminates annoying waiting times.
There’s easy money to be made in session events
Lucky Wheel
Why is this good? Currently, the Lucky Wheel in GTA Online allows players to win the fastest and rarest cars in the game easily. This is especially great for casual players, as they can acquire the expensive cars without having to grind for hours first.
In short, players have the chance to obtain endgame content for free. This makes them feel less like they are missing out.
I would like something like this for GTA 6 as well. This way, casual players can also obtain cool cars or perhaps unlock other exciting things like weapons, armor, or exclusive missions without having to grind for hours.
Especially poker is well received. Many players likely play that in their leisure time outside of video games and enjoy being able to play it digitally in their favorite game.
Poker in Red Dead Online – Even cowboys like to gamble
In GTA Online, there are now poker, horse racing, blackjack, and even one-armed bandits. I have already spent countless hours in GTA because of this. I would be pleased if this popular pastime played a role again in GTA 6.
Who is speaking here? Our editor Patrick Freese has spent over 600 hours in GTA Online. He knows the activities from GTA Online well and really wants to see some of them in GTA 6 Online. Because they are a lot of fun next to the main content. In the GTA community, he also found exciting wishes for activities that players want for the new installment.
BMX Parks
Why is this good? When I have had enough of driving in GTA Online, I grab a BMX bike and head to a park with ramps or just ride around.
Rockstar Games has put effort into the bike riding design and makes you crave more. You can race with road bikes, perform stunts with BMX bikes, or zoom up and down mountains with mountain bikes.
For GTA 6, I would wish for mini-games like in the “Tony Hawk’s” games. Something like “Complete X monster stunts in 5 minutes” or “reach 600 stunt points on the rail” or similar.
This would bring a lot of variety and another opportunity to compete with friends without having to shoot each other.
Get on the BMX and go?
On the next page, you will see exciting wishes from players for GTA 6. A fight club and major sports events for groups are among them.

In Apex Legends, Season 5 is just around the corner, and the developers have released new information about it. In addition to the already known heroine Loba, there is a completely new PvE game mode, quests, and a story that will be revealed throughout the season. MeinMMO author Jürgen Horn is quite excited!
What’s included in Season 5? The upcoming 5th season of Apex Legends starts on May 12, 2020, and will bring a lot of new content. The most prominent of these are:
A change to the map Kings Canyon. There, due to Loba’s misfortune, the location Skulltown was destroyed and replaced with a kind of platform.
A completely new PvE mode with quests and story
PvE in Battle Royale? Here’s how the quests work in Season 5
What is the new PvE mode? In their blog, the developers from Respawn detailed the upcoming PvE missions. You can play a new PvE mode alone or with friends starting from May 19, which is one week after the start of the season.
To do this, you jump at night and outside of the Apex Games into the arena Kings Canyon and search for a fragment of an artifact. Along the way, you encounter PvE enemies, including the feared Prowler creatures, which you might know from Bloodhound’s hunter event.
There are 9 different PvE missions that you can play in Season 5 as often as you want. In addition, they gradually tell a story about Loba and her quest for revenge, as well as the mystery of the “Broken Ghost.” However, the developers did not want to reveal what exactly is behind it yet.
In Season 5, you will follow a series of quests revolving around the new heroine Loba.
How to enter the PvE mode? To play the new mode, you first need to unlock the missions individually. In Season 5, you can find one treasure chest per day in regular Battle Royale. This contains goodies, such as crafting materials, Battle Pass XP, or loot boxes. Also, every 5 chests unlocks one of the 9 PvE missions.
As a player, you can also join missions that you haven’t unlocked. However, you won’t receive rewards for that.
You can also buy chests in the shop, but again, only one per day, provided you have not already found a chest in the game that day. The chests cost 25 cents each, and a total of 45 are needed to unlock all 9 missions. That would be 11.25 Euros if you were not able to find any chests at all.

Here you can already see the new PvE missions that take place at night.
What’s so great about the new mode? First of all, you get a completely new game mode through the PvE missions, which has not existed in this form before. There were only PvE missions in the regular Battle Royale, which often became frustrating due to malicious players. Here, you only have your squad, and the rest are monsters.
Additionally, there are solid rewards you earn in the PvE. These include cosmetics and progress in the story.
And especially here, Apex Legends has a lot of potential to tell an exciting story. This should run optimally in a PvE mode, where the legends might also converse with each other, bringing more dynamics into the game.
Moreover, each mission is rewarded with another story revelation, and in the end, the entire story is supposed to unfold.
The new heroine Loba (left), who comes into the game with Season 5.
Conclusion from Jürgen Horn: I love stories in games, and especially the narrative behind the cool legends from Apex, which has been excellently presented in the exquisite cinematics and shorts, pleases me immensely. I want to learn more. Therefore, I am looking forward to the new PvE missions.
On Friday evening, there was another new update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the in-house battle royale mode CoD: Warzone. We take a look at the patch notes and tell you what has changed for the weekend.
What is the new update about? On the evening of May 8th, a new update was released for CoD: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Warzone. So there were a few changes for the traditional multiplayer as well as the battle royale mode. What exactly has changed?
Warzone and Modern Warfare Update from 08.05. – This is what the patch notes say
The changes may be manageable; it is only a minor update, but they still bring some fresh air for the weekend.
What changes with CoD Warzone:
The regular solo mode for the battle royale has now been replaced by Stimulus Solo, a new mode.
The height and the radius in which enemies hanging on parachutes are displayed have been reduced in battle royale.
What is Solo Stimulus? BR Stimulus Solo is a new mode for the battle royale. The main difference is the absence of the Gulag.
The Gulag is eliminated in the new solo mode
In Solo Stimulus, you jump back in with the parachute directly if you have enough money. The Gulag is disabled. The buyback costs $4,500 and you start with exactly that amount in a match. You can either buy equipment right at the beginning or save the money for a second chance until you have more.
What changes in the regular multiplayer:
The popular playlist Shipment 24/7 has now been changed to Shipment 10vs10, where it is now even more chaotic.
Also, in Gunfight, 3vs3 is now only active with knives. So if you want to put your melee skills to the test, now is a good opportunity.
In the first “Inside Xbox” stream, Microsoft showcased an image of the companies that are already developing games for the new Xbox Series X. Among the companies shown are also some that have developed MMORPGs.
Which companies are developing for the Xbox Series X? At the live event on May 7, 13 new titles were announced, all of which are set to be released for the new console.
“Second Extinction”, a coop shooter where you fight against mutant dinosaurs,
“The Ascent”, an action RPG that mixes Cyberpunk with Diablo gameplay.
In addition, Microsoft presented an image featuring a variety of developers and publishers who are already working on games for the new Xbox Series X. There are also some companies represented that are associated with MMORPGs.
Over 100 companies are currently working on games for the Xbox Series X (Source: Livestream).
These 4 MMORPGs are very likely
From the list, it can be inferred which MMORPGs will likely be playable on the Xbox Series X. 4 are very likely, as they have already been released for the previous generation.
Skyforge
In the first row of the developer logos, Allods Team can be identified. The company developed Skyforge, a free MMORPG that celebrated its 5th birthday in April and released a new free expansion.
Skyforge can already be played on Xbox One and PS4. Apparently, the developers want to offer the title for the next console generation as well.
Black Desert is among the most successful MMORPGs on Steam and is especially valued for its freedoms. Visually and gameplay-wise, it is considered very modern even today, although it will celebrate its 5th birthday in July.
In January, Black Desert got the new class Guardian, which you see in the picture.
Neverwinter
Another well-known company is Perfect World. Besides the eponymous MMORPG, they are the publisher for the game Neverwinter. The free-to-play MMORPG is based on Dungeons & Dragons and offers an action-packed combat system.
You can already play the title on Xbox One and PS4. Here too, a port to the new generation seems likely.
With Infernal Descent, the prehistory of Baldur’s Gate 3 was released in Neverwinter in 2019.
The Elder Scrolls Online
With Bethesda, a company in the list stands that could release multiple titles on the new Xbox. One candidate is The Elder Scrolls Online, which has already been released for Xbox One.
The MMORPG is currently bursting at the seams and even expanded the EU servers in April. Although there is currently no crossplay, ESO benefits from being released for consoles. A continuation on the successor console is thus more than likely.
In addition to the above-mentioned titles that are very likely, there are also 4 candidates that might make it to the new console. The question marks stem from the fact that they are either still in development or have not yet had a version on Xbox One.
The beta for Crimson Desert is expected to start in 2020. A release this year seems rather unlikely. However, this MMORPG might even appear directly at launch for the Xbox Series X.
Either way, fans of Final Fantasy XIV can look forward to experiencing their adventures on Microsoft’s console soon. The fact that Square Enix is listed among the companies makes a release for Series X at least a little more likely.
Final Fantasy XIV, a hot candidate for the new Xbox.
Magic: Legends?
In Magic: Legends, the new action RPG from Cryptic Studios, Perfect World also takes on the role of publisher. Additionally, console versions have already been announced.
Here are the first images from the gameplay of Magic: Legends.
New World or Lord of the Rings?
Also on the list of companies is Amazon Games, which is currently working on 3 new games. A potential candidate could be the MMO New World, which is set to release in August. A console version has been denied so far, but it is quite possible that the opinion on that has changed since then.
Other candidates from Amazon could include the shooter Crucible, which has also only been announced for PC so far, and the new “The Lord of the Rings” MMO, about which there is still relatively little information.
New World, the new MMO from Amazon. Will it come for consoles?
Anyone who already owns an Xbox One or PS4 and doesn’t want to wait until the release of the new generation can find something today. We at MeinMMO have compiled the 6 best MMORPGs for consoles in a list.

In League of Legends, it is not uncommon for players to yell at each other or frustratedly hit their table or keyboard. Professional players like Jankos from G2 Esports also experience this, as he revealed. He sees no problem with it as long as it doesn’t go too far.
What does Jankos say? In a livestream, Marcin “Jankos” Jankowski, who with G2 Esports won the playoffs in Europe in April, mentions that it’s okay to be a bit annoyed or angry from time to time.
He illustrates with an example how he felt during the match, gets loud, and hits the table multiple times.
However, it is important not to overdo it with the tilt. Otherwise, you might lose your match for that very reason.

What is tilt anyway? The term “Tilt” originates, according to the English Wikipedia, from poker. It refers to a “state of mental or emotional confusion or frustration” in which players no longer play optimally or become too aggressive.
Another possible origin is pinball machines, which displayed the word “TILT” when players tried to cheat by jostling or hitting the machine.
Today, tilt is equated with “flipping out” or “losing one’s temper.” Players who are “tilted” often become very loud, hit objects, or throw them around the room.
“It’s useless and doesn’t help you win the game”
What exactly does Jankos say? At the beginning of the video, he explains directly why a bit of anger is okay and what would be an exaggerated reaction:
It’s okay to flip out a bit, you can flip out. But try not to smash your table.
The problem with anger is that you typically play worse when you are angry. And the worse you play, the angrier you become. Jankos also sees this issue:
I could do that too, but it’s useless and doesn’t help you. And the more you freak out, the more it affects you and the crazier you get […].
And that’s pointless, it won’t help you win the game.
He emphasizes that while calmness and composure are not guarantees for victories, they at least help oneself:
I’m not saying that you can win the game just by being calm. But at least for the sake of your mind and mental strength, you should train not to flip out over lost games, bad teammates, or poor decisions.

Jankos mainly gets annoyed about his own mistakes: As the professional player reveals in the stream, he gets especially frustrated about poor decisions or plays that come from himself.
Because he can change these things himself, while he has no influence over teammates or other factors. This likely happened to Jankos in the duel against team MAD Lions more often than not. G2 Esports surprisingly lost that match.
Even though it is sometimes difficult, calmness is certainly a better companion than tilt. The streamer Tyler1 is regarded as a prime example of bad and toxic behavior. Other well-known players like Trick2G are also known for loud yelling or the destruction of their keyboards.

Since Fallout 76 received the Wastelanders update, you can acquire new and special items with the new currency Gold Bars. MeinMMO explains where to find the vendors, how to farm Gold Bars, and what you can exchange them for.
What are Gold Bars? Gold Bars are a new currency introduced with the massive Wastelanders update on April 14, which you can exchange for rewards at various vendors.
You can only obtain the bars after you have played through the new Wastelanders story to a relatively advanced point and unlocked the NPC Sunny in the Waywards Diner.
From this point on, you have the opportunity to buy, farm, and spend Gold Bars at vendors to obtain blueprints, armor, and more. Our guide will provide you with all the details.
Gold Bar Vendors – What are the Bars Good For?
What do I get for Bars? As a reward for the bars, you currently receive mainly new blueprints for weapons, armor, or even a brand new Power Armor, the T-65. You need the blueprints for some new items, such as:
the Gauss Pistol
the Plasma Caster
the Secret Service Armor
The T-65 Power Armor (in the middle) is one of the rewards.
Some recipes from the old Vault 94 raid, which is now closed, have already been discovered by players at the vendors. The price of the recipes is currently between 750 and 1500 Gold Bars.
If you are interested in the new bow from Wastelanders, you do not need Gold Bars for that. You can simply buy the blueprint from the faction vendors for Caps.
Here are the locations of the vendors: There are a total of three Gold Bar vendors that you can find in Appalachia:
If you have reached the endgame of Wastelanders and want to obtain the new recipes, there are two ways to get Gold Bars:
You buy them
Or you earn them.
Both, however, are subject to a limit.
If you exhaust all avenues for obtaining Gold Bars, you should be able to collect about 1700 per week.
The Easy Way: Buy Gold Bars
The easiest way to get Gold Bars is simply to buy them. You can do this from Smiley in the Waywards, whom you should have unlocked after completing the main quest of Wastelanders.
At Smiley, you receive 50 Gold Bars for 1000 Caps each. However, you can only do this a maximum of six times per week, allowing for a maximum of 300 Gold Bars per week. In total, this will cost you 6000 Caps.
If you have too little money, too much time, or have already exhausted your supply of Gold Bars with Smiley, you can instead exchange Treasury Notes at the Gold Presses for Gold Bars.
The two Gold Presses are located in Crater (near Meg) and Foundation (across from Samuel). You can receive up to 200 Gold Bars per day for Notes.
You receive the Notes for completing daily faction quests from the Raiders and Settlers, and for completing events in Wastelanders. For each event, you receive between two and four Treasury Notes.
With Wastelanders, several new events were added that are particularly worthwhile, especially for higher-level players. For example, in “Radiation Rumble,” you are guaranteed to receive a legendary item as a reward. Events have generally undergone a revision and are now significantly more enjoyable and clearer. Everything that has changed in Fallout 76 since release to Wastelanders can be found here.

After the first Xbox 20/20 stream, many users were disappointed. Now Microsoft has reached out to these fans. They commented on the Xbox Inside stream via Twitter.
On May 7, 2020, Microsoft presented its first Xbox Inside stream. Many trailers were showcased. However, many fans were not impressed:
The official YouTube video has received 17,200 upvotes against about 22,400 downvotes. This trend was evident during the livestream.
What does the marketing manager say about the stream? Aaron Greenberg, the marketing manager for Xbox, has now reached out to the fans via Twitter.
In his Twitter post, he explains: “We definitely raised false expectations, that is on us. We welcome all feedback and promise that we and our team will learn from this.”

What was the problem with the stream? Many viewers were hoping to see how the Xbox Series X performs in action. Many wanted to finally see how powerful the hardware is. Because this plays a role alongside the price for many users.
Instead, Microsoft showed 13 trailers for games in the stream, some of which were even shown exclusively worldwide.
However, this was apparently not enough for the fans. They expected gameplay for the promised games on the Xbox Series X and did not receive it.
This is how Xbox players react: In some threads on reddit, Xbox players and fans are vigorously discussing the Xbox stream:
rocademiks writes: “Microsoft at least tried. And I wanted to give them the chance. But these trailers and the whole gameplay that is not shown on the console itself tires me.”
Players see Microsoft’s failure as an opportunity for the PS5. User ScubaSteve1219 explains: “This is a big moment for Sony and they hopefully take advantage of it. They just need to show a bit of gameplay, such as from Horizon [Zero Dawn] 2, and that would be far more impressive than anything we saw today.”
Almost a month after the announcement, the new ego-shooter MMO The Invitation has now launched its crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. We show you what is currently known about the game, how it is being received, and how you can support the developers.
The Invitation Kickstarter campaign launched: After The Invitation was first presented in early April The Invitation is now taking the next step. The ambitious new MMO shooter project from the German developer tool1 started its funding campaign on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter on May 6.
Until early June, you have the chance to become a backer and financially support the game and the devs in its development.

What is it about? The Invitation is an ambitious MMO first-person shooter that aims to bring new life to this otherwise established genre.
The story takes place in 2081 in a rundown part of Eastern Europe. Overall, our Earth is in pretty bad shape at this time, as people have access to new worlds and many have moved on.
As a result, only a few people, as well as aliens, remain on Earth, fighting over loot or important locations.
What makes The Invitation special: In addition to genre-typical shooter mechanics and loot, The Invitation will primarily focus on maximum player interaction:
For instance, players can challenge each other with quests – for assassinations or a joint raid
On the other hand, players can also hinder each other in completing missions and come into conflict
The Invitation is meant to be a PvX shooter, so PvE and PvP are mixed. An event can start as an attack on an AI enemy but later culminate in a massive PvP battle for valuable loot. There will also be permanent PvP events
Especially the player-created quests are expected to play a significant role. Whether you need specific resources, need help with a mission, or simply want to see a certain player dead – for all of that, you can commission your own quest.
This is also intended to bring in the fresh element, as player quests would be an exciting innovation that many other games have failed at.
By the way, The Invitation will feature permadeath. If you die, whether by an AI-controlled or human opponent, you will lose all your possessions.

When is the new MMO shooter going to be released? An alpha launch for the backers, i.e., supporters of the game, is planned for May 2021. There is currently no specific date for the release of the finished title, but that is likely still far off.
For which platforms will The Invitation be released? So far, only a PC release has been mentioned.
How is the new MMO shooter The Invitation being received?
Players are currently reacting quite divided to the announcement and the first details about The Invitation.
What is praised about The Invitation: Some say The Invitation already makes a very appealing impression in terms of graphics. The concept with a focus on player quests sounds quite exciting and promising.
They are curious to see how the title develops, are looking forward to more information and new material, and wish the developers much success.
What is viewed critically in The Invitation: Others, however, point out that several ambitious titles have already failed because of player quests.
Moreover, the little gameplay shown doesn’t offer much insight. So far, the game looks like a generic survival MMO similar to Rust and feels absolutely boring. Furthermore, the post-apocalyptic setting is already overdone for some.
Also, the fact that so little gameplay is shown makes some interested parties wary. After all, people don’t want to pump their money into something without knowing.
The Invitation on Kickstarter – How to get involved
What is the campaign about? With the campaign on Kickstarter, the developers hope to secure financial resources for the further development of The Invitation. They have set a goal of €120,000. As of May 8, 2 days after the campaign started, they are currently at €3,930.
How the development is supposed to proceed: With the Kickstarter campaign, the base game is financed, which is to serve as a foundation for further modular content. After that, further content is to be implemented into the base game in small steps in the form of so-called roadpoints, without interruption and for free.
How you can support the game and the developers: If you want to have more information about The Invitation or want to directly support the project financially, you can do so through
What you get for your support: If you become a backer, you will receive not only alpha access, all unlocked stretch goals, and a key for the final game but also exclusive in-game goodies like skins.
With a unique attachment, you can turn the weapon M4A1 in Call of Duty: Warzone into a killing machine for solo mode. Here are the pros and cons of the .458-SOCOM ammunition and a strong solo loadout.
The solo mode of Call of Duty: Warzone has its own rules and plays significantly different from the team experience. Therefore, it makes sense to create specific setups and loadouts for your outings in Battle Royale.
The M4A1 offers an ammunition attachment that has found its niche here and allows you to rack up really fast kills in solo BR. The shooter YouTuber “jackfrags” presents his solo setup in an English YT video and is excited about the range and lethality of his setup (via youtube).
What does the setup look like? A key element is the ammunition attachment “.458-SOCOM 10 round magazine”. Added to this are a suppressor and attachments for better aiming:
Muzzle: Suppressor (Monolith)
Barrel: M16 Grenadier
Optics: Small sight for aiming
Underbarrel: Command Foregrip
.458-SOCOM 10 round magazine
Why is it so strong? With the .458 caliber, you have higher damage and more range. The time-to-kill (TTK) is reduced by nearly 20% compared to the regular M4 ammunition. For opponents with full armor, you need a minimum of 480 milliseconds instead of 576.
This brings the M1A4 very close to the top value for automatic weapons in Battle Royale. The submachine gun AUG achieves 440 milliseconds and is therefore considered the best weapon in Warzone. However, with the SOCOM-M4, you have high precision and accuracy. Here the AUG has its weaknesses, which become shaky even at medium distances.
Due to its versatility, the M4A1 is already extremely strong and popular. With the attachment, the assault rifle now serves another target group. The complete analysis of the TTK values of almost all Warzone weapons can be found here:
Why should I only use it in BR solo? However, the setup has a significant disadvantage, making it almost only interesting for the solo mode of Battle Royale: 10 rounds in the magazine.
For players with 3 armor plates, you need 6 body hits. So you can easily empty a magazine on one enemy. If a teammate of the eliminated soldier comes around the corner, you no longer have enough firepower to take him down immediately unless you land a few strong headshots.
If you like playing solo, try out this M4 setup and test it. The small magazine requires a bit of adjustment, but the low recoil and high range allow you to land good hits immediately. A challenging but absolutely awesome setup that should help you in BR solo.
CoD Warzone: Solo loadout for the M4A1-SOCOM
What loadout fits with it? In solo mode, almost everything revolves around the 1vs1 combat. Many solo players approach the fight very cautiously, sometimes staying longer in a house or looking for safe corners to survive the next circle. Therefore, it is also important for you to be detected as little as possible.
Why these perks? “Ghost” should be set when you are playing solo. This way, you do not appear on the heartbeat sensor, and drones will not give away your location. Gunfire disables the effect for a few seconds, though. Since you cannot take “Overkill” with you, look for a second primary weapon in the match. A fast submachine gun fits well with the M4 setup.
“Cold-Blooded” makes you harder to see for popular thermal sights, and “Eager” lets you switch weapons faster – helpful if the enemy is still standing after the 10 shots. With the blue and yellow perk, you generally have more flexibility.
You can swap one of the two perks for an anti-explosive extra. If you want to clear an occupied house, the entrenched players often like to use mines to protect themselves. With “Hardline,” you take less damage here, and with “Scout,” you can see and even hack the mines.
Why C4 and heartbeat sensor? With the C4, you can defend against vehicles and with a well-placed window throw, startle or take down camping enemies.
Since some players forgo “Ghost” to take a modified secondary weapon into the fight with “Overkill,” you can scout areas and learn the approximate position of some enemies. The sensor is one of the strongest tactical items in Warzone and can also be an invaluable aid in solo mode.

In Valorant there is an exceptionally good weapon with the expensive assault rifle Vandal. Learn here why the rifle is so good and in which situations it’s worth using.
What is special about the Vandal? In the beta of Valorant, assault rifles are the top weapons. Because the assault rifles have decent damage values, hit at range, and are quite precise. This makes them optimal all-rounders that can help you master any situation with a bit of skill.
Besides the Phantom, the Vandal is the top assault rifle in the game. The weapon is among the top price category of assault rifles and mainly impresses with high damage at any range. But let’s take a close look at the gun.
If you want a rating of all weapons, you can find it here:
The stats of the Vandal: Here are the attributes of the Vandal at a glance.
Cost:
2,900
Magazine:
25
Wall penetration:
Medium
Rate of fire (Primary/Secondary):
9.25/8.32 shots per second
Damage 0 – 50 meters (Body/Head/Leg):
39/156/33
Primary fire mode:
Fully automatic
Alternate fire mode:
Zoom mode
What is special about the Vandal? The Vandal is often compared by Counter-Strike veterans to the AK-47. Indeed, it resembles the Russian cultural icon somewhat and also has a similarly characteristic dull gunshot sound.
Pro
Good range
No damage drop-off up to 50 meters
Optimal for short bursts
Contra
Lower rate of fire
Difficult to control and high recoil pattern
Smaller magazine
But the highlight of the Vandal is that it deals consistent damage at higher distances. Whether you hit from one or 50 meters: the opponent always receives full damage. Headshots are preferred here, as they almost always reliably kill, regardless of what armor the opponent wears. But the Vandal is deadly even with body shots:
Hits to kill without armor: 3
Hits to kill with light armor: 3
Hits to kill with heavy armor: 4
What to watch out for: Since the Vandal tends to pull up quickly due to the high recoil, you should only use it with short bursts (tapping). The recoil pattern is very chaotic. The more you shoot, the higher the shot pattern “climbs” upwards, eventually wildly swaying left and right. So think of a sort of flat tree. Anyone wildly firing will just waste the already scarce ammunition. Especially against an opponent with the more precise Phantom, you will clearly be at a disadvantage.
The recoil pattern of the Vandal. Source: InvenGlobal
So you see: You practically always get three shots (which are almost always lethal) centered when you just fire briefly. This is particularly effective in zoom mode, as the rate of fire and the recoil tend to decrease. But even here, you should only make short bursts.

Here you can see the somewhat wilder spray pattern of the Vandal, which makes the weapon harder to control. Mobile users start from 5:35.
In these situations, you should take the Vandal: The Vandal scores particularly well at medium range, as it also deals solid damage there. Compared to the major competitor Phantom, the solid damage at any range is a big advantage.
In close combat, you can also aim for the torso, as the recoil pattern rises up anyway and often creates headshots. However, always remember that you only have 25 shots and it’s better to conserve ammunition.
Which agents should use the Shorty? Basically, the Vandal is suitable for every agent in Valorant. Ideally, you should play the weapon with heroes who also act at medium range, so agents like Brimstone, Cypher, Sova, or Sage. Be sure to be cautious when visibility obstruction is in play. Wildly shooting through clouds is not sensible due to the low rate of fire and small magazine.
Are you interested in the big comparison between Vandal and Phantom? Then read our article comparing Phantom and Vandal and find out which of the two top-tier assault rifles pro streamer shroud prefers in his streams.

In Pokémon GO there are free items worth $5 to collect again. To do this, you need to enter a promo code, which this time is a bit trickier to obtain.
Update May 8 at 6:00 PM: The code seems to have expired. Most trainers report that the promotion has already been removed from the Samsung website. However, it is possible that it will return in a few days.
What items are available? A total of 39 items are waiting for you in the package. This includes 35 Poké Balls, 2x Incense, and a Snorlax.
While previously in such promotions you only had to redeem a promo code, this time it is a bit more complicated. You need to log in on the Samsung website to obtain a code. However, you don’t have to be an Android user for this.
How to redeem the promo code and receive the items
Here you get the items: This time, the way to the free items is a bit more complicated. We will go through it step by step:
If you scroll down a bit, you will see a picture of Alolan Meowth
Click “View Details” below that
Create a Samsung account or log in
Go back to “View Details” and this time provide your used email address
Check your emails, as you will now have received a message that provides you with the one-time promo code
Go to the in-game shop of Pokémon GO and redeem the code or visit the Niantic website, where you can also redeem the code (iOS users can only choose the second option)
This is the kind of email you might receive – Keep in mind that this code in the image has already been redeemed
How long is the code valid? According to Samsung, you can redeem this code for a month, until June 7.
Is this for every account? On reddit , players report that trainers from all over the world and regardless of the device can redeem this code. So you don’t need a Samsung device to receive the free items.
Are the items worth it? In total, the products are worth $5. Especially the Incense should interest many players, as it currently attracts significantly more Pokémon and lasts for a full hour.
The Poké Balls will also come in handy, as many trainers are still complaining about a lack of balls. So you can catch a few more Pokémon.
Currently, you can mostly throw them at Pokémon of the 2nd generation, as they are appearing more frequently due to the Johto event at the moment.

In Fortnite , the 17-year-old pro player Daniel “Dubs” Walsh has been banned for 30 days. He is accused of violating Fortnite’s rules and cheating. According to him, however, it was clever play. One doesn’t fight right at the beginning; every pro knows that.
This is why the player was banned: Last week, accusations rose from the community that Dubs and his duo partner “Waffles” were colluding in Fortnite’s Solo Cash Cup.
In solo tournaments, it is strictly prohibited to collaborate with another player. This is considered “teaming” and thus cheating. However, according to the allegations, both are said to have cooperated.
According to reports and a video:
both players landed at the same spot, at “The Rig”
they never fought each other
but attacked other players who also landed there
The Rig is a new location that came to Fortnite with Season 2 in February 2020.
they even allegedly shared loot
they supposedly did a 3-2-1 countdown to eliminate someone together
The two managed to reach places 7 and 8 in the Solo Cash Cup with this play style.
A YouTube video with the accusations that the players colluded circulated on YouTube starting May 2 and garnered some attention. The video reached over 515,000 views.

More than 500,000 viewers watched a video that accused the pro of cheating.
This is the aftermath: According to the news agency Reuters, Dubs has stated that he was banned by Epic Games for 30 days. He says he finds the decision “frustrating,” but accepts it and will not appeal.
This is what Dubs says in his defense: According to Dubs, the location “The Rig” has been his only landing spot for two months. His entire strategy revolves around this landing spot.
Every match starts the same for him since then: He always lands on the same building, follows the same loot routes, and rotates the same way.
Players who eliminate villains in Fortnite can loot a keycard and enter a treasure room. This gives an advantage at the start.
He says: Waffles never attacked him. He would play the same way in Waffles’ place. That is a clever strategy. He would sit there and only farm, then loot the vault when the other is outside. Because that’s where the extra loot waits.
Dubs says he doesn’t just fight right after spawning at the beginning of a match unless someone is in his way, especially when it comes to a keycard.
Every pro knows that it’s not clever to fight right at the spawn point.
Big Problem in Fortnite Esports
This is what it’s about: The problem reveals the weakness in Fortnite esports. Ultimately, no one forces players to go after each other and risk being eliminated early and scoring few points. Therefore, it is often a good tactic to play “defensively” and avoid fights. It’s like making a “non-aggression pact” with other players: If you do nothing to me, I’ll do nothing to you.
The problem reared its head back in December 2018. At that time, pros would get planes and play particularly passively to reach the end game. They would glide minutes over the map. To avoid trouble with the rules due to passivity, they would shoot hilariously next to other planes.
In Dubs’ case, the caution apparently crossed into “teaming,” which led to the 30-day ban.
3 players were kicked out of their team in April: due to collusion.
These incidents keep recurring in Fortnite esports and show that there currently is no solution to avoid such “agreements” among players. This is unfair to all others who do not have such agreements.
The Grau 5.56 was introduced in Season 2 and is already the tenth assault rifle in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. Here you will find the OP build from a YouTuber and two more setups that make the Grau a beast in the right hands. As an update, a strong loadout for the Warzone.
What kind of weapon is it? With the Grau 5.56, the light assault rifles in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare have a strong, new colleague. After our initial analysis at the start of Season 2, here are a few verified builds of the “Battle Pass” assault rifle.
The weapon is modeled after a rifle from the Swiss Army and resembles the SIG 552 Commando in its basic design. This is a modified version of the SIG 550, which is considered very versatile, and even in CoD you can significantly customize the rifle with attachments.
Update May 8, 2020: The Grau 5.56 also performs really well in the Warzone. Therefore, further down you will now find a strong Warzone setup.
The Grau 5.56 in standard configuration and the value comparison with the RAM-7.
What do the stats look like? The weapon ranks among the top assault rifles based on its bare stats, but loses some attractiveness due to a lower rate of fire and a longer Time-To-Kill (TTK).
The damage profile corresponds exactly to that of its direct competitors (28/23/18) and some other assault rifles. However, the Grau 5.56 can stand out due to its very high 4-shot range, which is already about 30% higher than that of the strong assault rifles RAM-7 and M4A1, even without attachments.
“Battle Pass” weapon is regarded as one of the strongest assault rifles
Which setup is supposed to be OP? This setup comes from the YouTuber “Swagg”. He is absolutely enthusiastic about the Grau 5.56 in an English video (via YouTube) and sees this configuration as “OP”, meaning “overpowered”.
Attachments of the Swagg OP build
Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Barrel: FF 20.8″ Nexus
Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
Ammunition: 50-Round Mag
Grip: XRK Void II
What makes this setup special? The barrel and suppressor further increase the already high 4-shot range, allowing for kills at 50 meters with the minimal TTK of 240 ms. This makes the weapon particularly powerful in “Ground War” but also on larger maps.
Grau 5.56 as a Run&Gun weapon
How can I play the Grau 5.56 differently? The YouTuber and CoD analyst “TheXclusiveAce” also took a look at the weapon. Ace prefers more aggressive Run&Gun builds. His inclination towards high-tempo setups is reflected in his configuration.
Attachments of the TheXclusiveAce builds
Barrel: XRK CZEN mk2
Stock: No Stock
Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
Ammunition: 50-Round Mag
Grip: XRK Void II
Why should I go for this setup? The YouTuber balances the two strengths of the weapon with this setup. He compensates for the loss of movement speed due to the magazine and barrel with the grip and stock, and the Commando Foregrip makes this MP-like build a good companion at close to long ranges.
My recommendation for attachments for versatile use
Which setup do you recommend? Instead of going for a larger magazine, I prefer to take the “Tactical Laser” with assault rifles. This way, I can offset the loss of movement speed due to the barrel and suppressor. The laser is only visible when I aim down sights and brings the “aim time” to top values, but this is a matter of personal preference.
Attachments of my preferred build
Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Barrel: XRK CZEN mk2
Laser: Tactical Laser
Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
Grip: XRK Void II
What advantages does your build offer? In my AR builds, I pay attention to getting the movement speed as high as possible while also supporting the strengths of the weapons. With the barrel and suppressor, the 4-shot range goes over 45 meters, while the laser and grip bring the weapon to aim quickly.
Warzone: Grau 5.56 Setup – M4A1 can’t compete
What makes the Grau so strong in Warzone? The weapon has the longest range of all CoD assault rifles and very manageable recoil. Additionally, the rate of fire is low, which makes it even better at hitting targets at long distances. A good Warzone setup should support these strengths without compromising too much mobility.
Attachments of the Warzone setup
Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Barrel: Tempus 26.4″ Archangel
Optic: Monocle Reflex Sight
Ammunition: 50-Round Mag
Grip: XRK Void II
What does this setup bring in Warzone? Here you get an extremely stable weapon with high range that still plays quickly. You can even counter snipers if you aim directly at the reflection of their large sights. At medium range, you can easily place bullets on a target and secure kills.
Not even the strong M4A1 can compete with this high precision and range.
For even higher range, use the “VLK 3.0x Sight”. This sight offers a good compromise between range and mobility. When you want to give the weapon back a bit more speed, swap the grip for the tactical laser. However, this can sometimes cause problems at shorter ranges, as the laser is clearly visible to enemies when aimed.
Pros and Cons of the Grau 5.56
Pro
Well modifiable with attachments
Very high range of 4-shot kills
Low recoil
Really strong between 35 – 50 meters
Top values for aim speed for an assault rifle
Contra
Must first be unlocked through a challenge
Low rate of fire and thus high TTK
Surpassed by many specialized weapons at extreme and short distances
Strong assault rifle with minor flaws
The Grau 5.56 can be classified as a top assault rifle and provide a lot of fun at longer ranges. The high range, combined with good handling due to low rate of fire and manageable recoil, makes the weapon a strong choice.
Alongside the RAM-7 and M4A1, the “Battle Pass” weapon ranks among the top weapons in the game, with a small deficit in Time-To-Kill. Those who can overlook this brief moment will get a nasty assault rifle with a lot of potential, especially on large maps and in “Ground War”.
