Pokémon GO has changed some moves and Pokémon in PvP during Season 6. We show you what is new now.
What is new? The team from Pokémon GO has made some changes to the current PvP season. The damage of 7 moves has been changed. Additionally, certain moves can now be taught to other Pokémon.
This affects the rest of the season and leads to some team changes. We show you the changes here in an overview.
Moves Changes from January 5
What exactly changes? To balance the game, the damage of attacks has been increased and decreased. In trainer battles, this has now changed to:
Ember: The Fire-type fast move now does more damage
Waterfall: The Water-type charge move now does more damage
Karate Chop: The Fighting-type fast move now generates more energy
Bubble: The Water-type fast move now does less damage
Razor Leaf: The Grass-type fast move now does less damage
Aerial Ace: The Flying-type charge move now does less damage
Rock Slide: The Rock-type charge move now does less damage
Shadow Ball: The Ghost-type charge move now does less damage
The following moves have changed which Pokémon can learn them.
Weather Ball (Fire): Vulpix and Ninetales (Kanto) can now learn this Fire move
Weather Ball (Ice): Vulpix and Ninetales (Alola) can now learn this Ice move
Weather Ball (Water): Quagsire can now learn this Water move
Icy Wind: Swalot can now learn this Ice move
Ice Beam: Lapras can now learn this Ice move
Shadow Ball: Lapras can now learn this Ghost move
Triple Axel: Porygon2 can now learn this Normal move
Mud Shot: Excadrill can now learn this Ground-type fast move
If you are at least rank 19 at the end of the season, you will also receive a Premium Fast TM
At rank 20, you are guaranteed to get Swablu, which will be available in Pokémon GO for the first time. It will also appear as a reward at higher ranks
Who is it worth for? In November, Niantic announced the biggest update that Pokémon GO has ever seen. They increased the maximum level to 50 and fundamentally changed the PvP. So if you haven’t looked into trainer battles for a while, you can now get to know the new system.
Instead of 10 ranks, there are now 24 ranks. Along with new Pokémon encounters and exclusive rewards, depending on the rank achieved.

In Genshin Impact there are two new promo codes. One provides you with free Primogems as well as character XP and the in-game currency Mora. We at MeinMMO reveal what the codes are and how to redeem them.
Both codes can currently be redeemed as of January 6, 2021, although they are a few days old. The codes can only be used once per account and will expire over time.
How to redeem the code? To redeem the code, you must have reached Adventure Level 10 in the game. Before that, the codes cannot be used. Redeeming is quite simple:

Primogems as an important premium currency for endgame
What are Primogems? Primogems are one of the most important currencies in the game. You can use them either to utilize the gacha system with wishes and hope for new characters or to buy “Original Resin”.
How else can you get Primogems? The fastest and easiest way to obtain Primogems is through real money. For the 110 Primogems included in the code, you would need to spend approximately €2.20.
In addition to spending real money, you can also farm Primogems in-game, for example through daily missions, quests, or treasure chests.

“Coup de Grâce” & the final bait upgrade in the Season of the Hunt
This is what players have been waiting for: In the Season 12, players go on a big game hunt with the Kryptholith bait. However, for weeks, the Guardians have been wondering where the final upgrade is. Good news: the last bait upgrade is now available.
The new mission “Coup de Grâce” starts with you going to Crow in the Tangled Shore. Here you will finally find the long-missed upgrade.
The upgrade allows you to finally deal the titular mercy blow to the High Celebrant – the leader of the Wrathborn and the killer of Sagira.
This brings the seasonal title “Guardian” within reach. Because together with the upgrade, you will receive a triumph. During the mission, you will also unlock the other secret triumph you need for the Guardian title.
Today you take down the main prize
This is how you hunt the High Celebrant: The mission itself is a very long Wrathborn hunt in the Dreaming City, which you accept at Spider. A power level of 1,250 is recommended, and you can team up with up to 3 Guardians.
As usual, you follow the tracks of the sought-after opponent through the area (the greenish puddles on the ground and in the air).
In between, the High Celebrant confronts you and you must fight against him and smaller add waves until he flees.
To deal effective damage, look for the enemy nearby who has a green shimmer around them. Once taken out, they will leave a buff (angry) – now you have a brief moment to deal significant boss damage.
The hunt spans large sections of the Dreaming City and you also switch to the Ascendant Realm in between (but for this, you don’t need aQueen’s Leaf Tincture this time).
Throughout the mission, Osiris speaks to you, but he doesn’t help – lore lovers will be all ears.
Once the High Celebrant is defeated, you will receive a powerful reward, an exotic ship, and the secret triumph “Wrath Conqueror”. Afterwards, an important story cutscene awaits you.
Currently, it seems that not all rewards drop at the end of the mission – Bungie is investigating the issue (via Twitter).

Bungie warns of problems in the “Coup de Grâce” mission
Therefore, you must hold back: Those going into the mission alone and are slightly under-leveled may find the High Celebrant quite a challenge. But if you are well-equipped and out in a team, you will take down the boss in no time.
However, you should avoid this at all costs.
Bungie reported via Twitter that “it is recommended to take it slow when dealing damage to the High Celebrant.” If the health bar drops too quickly, it can cause problems. The boss may become immune, preventing you from completing the mission, or the opponent dies, but you cannot progress properly through the mission. So take your time with the story mission to avoid any issues.

New cutscene finally advances a 2-year-old story thread
Warning: Story spoilers follow. Those who wish to be surprised can return later.
This is what happens after the mission: At the beginning of the mission, Spider asked you for help. As a reward, he promised that you could choose anything from his hideout.
In the concluding cutscene, we then choose Crow, who has been Spider’s vassal since Season 12. The black market dealer initially thinks it’s a joke, but is reminded by the Guardian of his wording, as Crow is also in his hideout.
Grumpily, Spider consents and chases the Guardian and Crow out of his hideout.
With this, we have forgiven Crow for his murder of Cayde-6 (then still as Uldren) and accepted him into the Guardian community. The next step is likely that Crow will take Cayde-6’s place as the leader of the Hunters in the Vanguard.
We outsmart the rascal Spider and rescue Crow
Since the now redeemed and resurrected Crow has committed his misdeeds in Forsaken, more than 2 years have passed. Since then, players have consistently heard snippets of lore about what the fallen prince has been up to. Finally – or unfortunately for some – he is now coming to the Tower. Apparently, even hardened and god-killing Guardians can forgive.
While Spider chases you from his lair, to properly complete the mission for the triumph and the quest log, you will need to visit him again. So pay a visit to the grumpy NPC directly … his mood has mysteriously improved.

Description: Anjanath have strong jaws with which they tear enemies apart and a keen sense of smell. They breathe fireand have a significant weakness to the elements of water and ice.
Battle Tip: Anjanath are ruthless hunters that will not let their prey escape easily. They are highly aggressive and attack anything that comes within their grasp. Their arms, legs, head, and nose are vulnerable. The tail can be severed.
Description: The Azure Rathalos shares most traits with the Rathalos but has higher stamina, more health, and stronger attack power. It has a wider range of attacks than the regular Rathalos and is even more aggressive.
Combat Tip: For the Azure Rathalos, the wings and head are its weak points. These should be targeted as soon as the beast is on the ground. It is possible to bring down the Azure Rathalos with a slinger or thunderbomb from the air.

Description: The Barroth has a massive bone plate on its head that it uses to ram through anything that stands in its way. Before the Barroth attacks, it lets out a warning roar, as it is normally peaceful.
Combat Tip: The Barroth rolls in mud and lets it dry to increase its defense. The hard mud should be attacked with water elements to soften and nullify it.

Description: The Behemoth originates from Final Fantasy and has two mechanics that are atypical for Monster Hunter: spells and aggro. The spells are particularly dangerous for you and every hunter should be well aware of them. Once the monster has built up aggro, it focuses all its attention on just one player.
Combat Tip: The Behemoth has a total of four phases and five spells. Each new phase is heralded by the meteor. Here, the Behemoth casts a meteor on random players. When the Behemoth casts “Summon Comet,” it lays large rocks on the battlefield. These must be used to survive its strongest attack “Ecliptic Meteor.” Hunters can hide behind the rocks here.
Description: The Deviljho wanders like the Bazelgeuse through all areas searching for flesh due to its insatiable hunger. It generally attacks all monsters and hunters as well. The Deviljho has a similar attack pattern to the Anjanath, but is considerably faster in movement and executes its attacks for longer periods.
Battle Tip: The Deviljho is weak to Thunder and Dragon, these elements should be on your weapons. In rage mode, a mist flows from the mouth of the Deviljho, which causes Dragonblight to you. This can be countered with Nullberries or at least 20 Dragon Resistance on your armor. For the corrosive saliva, Diamond Seeds help. Under the belly of the Deviljho is the safest position.
Anesthesia: The Diablos preferably lives in the desert and burrows into the ground there. The horned beast ambushes hunters from underground and attacks from hiding as soon as it hears them. The Diablos has little pause between its attacks, making it a challenging opponent. It either strikes with its tail or tries to knock down its foes with its massive horns.
Combat Tip: The Diablos uses a charge attack where it burrows and quickly rushes at hunters from underground – as a hunter, it is important to keep moving. The Diablos also has a powerful roar that can temporarily stun hunters. The “Earplugs” skill, found on some armor, can help here. The horns can be broken and the tail can be severed.
Description: The Dodogama has special saliva that allows it to cause stones to explode. It spits these at hunters to attack them. The creature is peaceful and will only attack if provoked.
Combat Tip: When the Dodogama is carrying heated stones in its mouth, hunters can attack them. The attacks will cause the stones in Dodogama’s mouth to explode and deal significant damage to it.

Description: Kirin is a dangerous Elder Dragon, famous for its horn. The Kirin’s fur is as tough as armor, making the delicate-looking creature robust. The Kirin is associated with the Thunder element, and all its attacks involve electricity. The Kirin summons lightning that strikes down on hunters. The Kirin can also charge itself with electricity to enhance its attacks.
Combat Tip: Due to the Thunder element, hunters can quickly become paralyzed and should bring enough Nullberries into the battle against the Kirin. The berries reduce the paralysis effect. A high resistance to the Kirin’s strong Thunder attacks is also essential.
Description: Kulu-Ya-Ku resemble Dodos and throw stones at their enemies, using the stones as shields to defend themselves.
Combat Tip: Hunters can shoot the stones from Kulu-Ya-Ku’s hands with slings. The stone breaks when attacked multiple times with a weapon. The birds are vulnerable at the head, beak, and arms.

Description: Kulve Taroth appears only during an event and in a special siege quest called “Feast in the Earthen Hall.” You can participate in the quest with up to 16 players and work together on progress. Using a points system, certain goals must be reached to improve rewards.
Combat Tips: Try to break as much of the golden armor as possible and collect all pieces to improve your rewards. This is how you get the rare relic weapons. The more players participate in the quest, the faster and easier it will be. Fire protection is immensely important against Kulve Taroth.
Description: The Kushala Daora has wings that are covered in metal. The dragon influences the wind and can create a strong wind barrier that repels hunters.
Combat Tip: The wind shield reflects projectiles from bows and bowguns. The shield is weakened when weapons are equipped with the Elder Seal. Additionally, the Kushala Daora’s vulnerability to poison is so high that if poisoned, its wind aura is suppressed.

Description: The Lavasioth is a Fish Wyvern that lives in lava – instead of water. The body of the Lavasioth is covered in lava. When the lava around its body hardens, it creates a strong armor. The Lavasioth also spits large fireballs at hunters, which shatter on the ground and become small projectiles.
Combat Tip: Hunters should bombard the Lavasioth with their strongest attacks when the Fish Wyvern emerges from the lava. At this point, the lava layer is still soft and the creature is vulnerable.

Combat Tip: Ice drinks and fire resistance are a must against Lunastra. Her fire attacks deal area damage with high range. Breaking Lunastra’s head significantly weakens her fire attacks. Flash Bombs are ineffective against Lunastra, as they do not fall from the sky through her. However, bombs neutralize the flammable powder and can negate the effect.
Description: The Nergigante is an Elder Dragon and can regenerate at an incredible speed. It is extremely aggressive and attacks anything that stands in its way. When the spikes on its arms or back break off, they grow back immediately. When they grow, the spikes are white and turn black once they are hardened. Once the spikes are hardened, they deal more damage.
Battle Tip: The Nergigante has an attack that slams the ground, breaking its spikes. At this stage, it is particularly vulnerable and should be attacked before the spikes grow back.
