What’s up with the E-Tool? The melee weapon was recently added to the game and can be unlocked through a challenging challenge. In the blog post with the patch notes on treyarch.com, the developers write that they have seen a lot of love from players for the death shovel in zombie mode, but also requests to make the melee weapon stronger in multiplayer. The requests have been heard – the E-Tool has been significantly buffed:
The shovel is now a one-hit melee kill (previously 2 hits)
Reduced swing time when striking
Slightly increased movement speed
This melee weapon is now significantly more attractive in multiplayer and should find even more fans. Plus, the weapon fits better with the heavy unlock challenge.
How do I get the E-Tool in Cold War? To unlock the killer shovel, you need to achieve a 3-kill streak with a melee weapon in 15 different matches.
What else did the update bring? The significant change to the E-Tool is the highlight of the update. Besides, there were adjustments to the maps in two of the game modes of the ranked mode League Play and new playlists:

On PlayStation, there are also the exclusive Rush modes – in the normal version with map rotation, and two separate Rush modes that only run on Nuketown or Apocalypse.
What can we expect in Season 2? In Season 1, three major updates brought new content to the game, and content is also known for the current season that should come before the end of Season 2 on April 22:
2 new weapons are already known: The crossbow “Shadowhunter” and the sniper “ZRG 20mm”
The large multi-team map “Golova,” which is already included in the Outbreak mode
A map for the small Gunfight mode – “Mansion”

It is quite possible that the announced content will not be the only additions. Especially regarding the supply of 6vs6 maps, many players wish for a faster pace. So far, only “Apocalypse” has been released as a map for the “normal” multiplayer modes. Here, Cold War continues to fall short of expectations.
If you consider the new content from Cold War and the battle royale Warzone in Season 2, one could certainly call it a zombie season. However, this does not sit well with fans of the standard PvP modes. Because soldiers who can’t find anything appealing in the zombie mode of Cold War have only been offered little new content in Season 2 so far. However, the chances are good that the developers will make another push – as they did in the previous Season 1.
In Diablo 3 a new speedrun has been set in a Greater Rift in the current Season 22. However, the community is not only excited about this.
What is this new record? The four players “Code” (Demon Hunter), “Sleepyjoe” (Barbarian), “Swaggur” (Crusader) and “Movingman” (Necromancer) completed a Greater Rift Level 150 in Diablo 3 with a time of 2:19 minutes. No one has been that fast before. Thus, they secure Rank 1 in the current Season.
How did they achieve that? The four players are really good, as can be seen in the video. But they also had a lot of luck. They got a Greater Rift where they could summon the Guardian very quickly due to a high monster density and thus reach the end.
The Greater Rifts in Diablo 3 are randomly generated. Thus, players look for versions that are particularly effective during the Seasons. This usually takes many hours. Once they find one, they try to master it as quickly as possible to set a record.

How does the community react to this? The performance of the four Diablo players is recognized by many, because even with a good Rift, it is still a challenge to do it so quickly at Level 150. Nevertheless, it shows that the community is slowly feeling a bit annoyed by the random factor.

iluhju muju explains: “These guys are top players, regardless of Paragon, and they have to spend a lot of time searching for a Rift to enable a time like this.”
What also clouds the victory? The four players from Clan Zero Drama are accused of account sharing and botting. There was even a video two years ago in which a player from the clan was banned live (via YouTube). The clan has since been watched closely by the community. Therefore, there are players who also criticize this new speedrun.
CriticoolHit writes about the video: “This is a cheat run on shared accounts. Shouldn’t these guys be banned?”
Arkeon Sanath agrees: “It’s all just botting and account sharing. This is not a challenge!”
