Here is the focus: Swords of Legends Online places special emphasis on storytelling and quests. The cutscenes and dialogues are fully voiced. However, so far only in Chinese, as there is no international version of the MMORPG yet.
You take on quests from NPCs and then explore together with friends, accompanied by suitable Asian music, large, beautifully designed zones. There, many battles await you against monsters that stem from Chinese mythology. You will face boss fights together with friends in dungeons. The battles are very fast-paced and action-oriented. You must actively dodge, for example.
The MMORPG also allows you to engage in PvP duels against other players on special maps. Furthermore, there are jumping puzzles in which you can only reach certain locations through precise jumps. You improve your hero based on levels that grant you new skills as you progress.
However, there is no open world to explore. The land is divided into zones, which can, however, be quite large. In general, it can be said that Swords of Legends Online does not bring complete innovations to the genre. It is a classic MMORPG experience that stands out with its atmosphere and graphics.

What is special about the game? Swords of Legends Online impresses primarily with its graphics and atmosphere. The well-known YouTuber and MMO expert The Lazy Peon describes the game in a video as possibly the most beautiful Chinese MMORPG. In his video, you can admire the stunning landscapes and see how character creation works.
When creating your hero, you enjoy nearly as many options as in Black Desert Online, which is considered a reference here. Visually, the game is reminiscent of the beautiful MMORPG Moonlight Blade.
The Lazy Peon explains that the gaming experience is very linear. One feels as if on rails and is sent from one quest to the next, while fighting monsters along the way.
Another special feature of Swords of Legends Online is that there is no ingame shop. It is one of the few Chinese MMORPGs that adopts a subscription system. This means there are no Pay2Win elements, which should facilitate a potential release in the West.

What are the chances of a Western release? The MMORPG has been running in China since 2017. The developers were also present at the E3 gaming fair that same year and presented Swords of Legends Online there. It should apparently have been showcased, as a release in the West is possible (via Steparu). Since then, however, there have been no new hints that the MMORPG will be released here.
You can already play it, but you need to have knowledge of Chinese. There is no region lock. You simply register on the official website (via WeGame). However, you should expect a high ping, as the servers are located in China. Also, keep in mind that there is currently no English or German language patch. You will only progress with knowledge of the Chinese language.

Omar Gonzalez has been with Blizzard since 2003 and is regarded as the “father of WoW Classic“. However, he has now left the company and joined one of the studios founded by former Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime. There are already numerous Blizzard veterans there.
What happened? Kevin Jordan was with Blizzard from 2003 to 2010 and spoke about his time at the WoW developer in a livestream on Twitch. He also mentioned Omar Gonzalez.

Who is Omar Gonzalez? Gonzalez started his career at Blizzard in 2003 as a QA analyst for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne and World of Warcraft. Over the years he was promoted to Technical Lead for WoW.

Pokémon GO has officially announced Rival Week. It brings 2 new Pokémon and other exciting spawns. We show you all the details.
How long does Rival Week last? It starts on April 13 at 10:00 AM local time. The event lasts for 5 days and ends on April 18 at 8:00 PM local time.

What is a Global Challenge? This involves players worldwide. In the case of Rival Week, raid battles are important. If all trainers worldwide complete a certain number of raids, then double catch Stardust will be unlocked.

You can take your chance and hope for one of the sought-after shinies. Additionally, we probably get the chance at Vipitis. This regional Pokémon does not normally appear in Germany. Vipitis can also be shiny, so one could secure a rare shiny in Germany.
Otherwise, after the Global Challenge, there is double catch Stardust. Stardust is the most important resource in the game, so you should take advantage of the bonus.

In Destiny 2, you will soon be able to be strong and beautiful. However, the Guardians are already worried about the new transmog feature coming in Season 14. Timegating and real-money involvement are causing headaches.
Every Guardian knows the problem of often having to choose between good looks and high combat power. You find armor that looks really good, but the stats just don’t fit the build or are simply worthless.
This is what Guardians are looking forward to: When Season 14 of Destiny 2 starts in May 2021, real transmog will be integrated into the MMO shooter. This will be made possible by the return of Ada-1 to the Tower. The Exo-lady brings the “Armor Synthesis” feature along.
What is Transmog? Transmogrification (short transmog) refers to a system where armor and clothes can be visually changed. Equipment pieces can inherit the look of other earned items. Transmog is useful when the new armor is stronger or has a higher level, but doesn’t appeal to you visually. This allows players to look however they want without sacrificing the power of new items.
For transmog, you transform the look of armors into so-called universal ornaments. You then adorn your currently worn (legendary) equipment with them, giving it the identical appearance of the ornaments. The good news is that you don’t have to hoard the armors in your inventory. It is enough to have registered the look in your collection: Bungie now finally knows whether you can destroy old armors in Beyond Light.

Players should be strong and beautiful in Destiny 2, but …
This is causing headaches: Destiny-style, Guardians cannot whimsically transform armors from the collection into universal ornaments that they can then apply to their worn armor. You need a new resource for that: synthesis tokens. You receive the tokens from bounties or you pay for them with silver (real money currency).
Thus, transmog already has a bitter aftertaste for players even before its release. These 2 things are causing concern:
Timegating: Often, tasks in Destiny 2 cannot be completed all at once or are capped at a limit per week. This would mean for you that no matter how diligent you are, if Ada has only 2 bounties per week, you can only craft 2 ornaments per week. This would mean, in this example, that to create a whole armor set, you would need more than 2 weeks.
Fear of costs: Those who have no time to grind (or no desire) can reach into their pockets and shortcut their way to transmog. Guardians are now worried that Bungie will limit transmog or set the grind very high to draw silver from their wallets.
If Bungie were to rely too heavily on timegating and high costs, transmog would be ruined for many right at the start. It’s really a shame, after all, some Guardians have been waiting for this since 2014.
Keep in mind that we currently do not know how high the silver costs will be in Season 14 and how noticeable the timegating will be. By the way, once you have created an ornament, it remains permanently unlocked. The same applies to shaders, which no longer occupy a slot in the inventory and are permanently unlocked.
Many Guardians are aware that Destiny 2 also has to generate revenue for Bungie – especially since many areas in the shooter became free-to-play. However, the fear that transmog will be heavily monetized is also evident on MeinMMO. We regularly read such comments under articles on this topic:

The Eververse is filled with skins, shaders, and other cosmetics every season. The alternative ornaments for exotics especially make fashion Guardians salivate.
To let you play around a bit with transmog right at the start of Season 14, Bungie will distribute a starting supply of synthesis materials. How quickly it gets used up will be revealed in May 2021.

How it continues with Outriders after release is currently unclear. Now the developer People Can Fly has commented in an interview about possible DLCs and their scope.
From the beginning, it was planned for Outriders to come to market as a “finished” game. Now it was released on April 1. Although there are no known plans for the future, the developers have never ruled out that it could continue. Recently we reported that Outriders would receive DLCs if the loot shooter becomes a success.
What’s new? After the release, developer People Can Fly has now once again commented on the future of Outriders. For the first time, there is information on what one or more DLCs could look like.

We never said we would abandon the game [after release]. This is not a Game-as-a-Service, but if players want it, we will definitely bring more into the Outriders universe. How likely are DLCs? It is currently hard to say. On Steam, Outriders is a huge success. For example, the release of Marvel’s Avengers was three times overprinted, with over 100,000 concurrent players in Outriders, while it was only 28,000 for Avengers. (via Forbes)
What else was said? In the interview, among other already known things, it was about insights from the demo, the numerous loading screens, and a possible increase in the level cap. Here’s the summary:
They were surprised at how much time people spent with the demo. They would have expected that activities in the full game would be repeated so often, but not already in the small demo version where only one chapter was playable.
Kmita justifies the many loading screens by stating that they wanted to prevent players from spreading too far across the maps. They want Outriders to be played together. The cutscenes were added for technical reasons.
It is still unclear whether there could be an increase in the level cap similar to Borderlands. However, they are considering it.

The vampire MMO Shadow’s Kiss has been in development for over four years. Now there is a sign of life that gives hope. The developers said that the game is set to release on Steam in the summer of 2021, if all goes well.
What kind of MMO is this? Shadow’s Kiss made headlines over four years ago, when it entered pre-alpha in December 2016. The MMO is inspired by the famous World of Darkness, from which the “Vampire” role-playing games also originate.
The developers behind Shadow’s Kiss are Clockwork Throne, an indie studio from Texas. The MMO was initially financed mainly through Kickstarter, where Shadow’s Kiss was very successful. Currently, the developers are mainly relying on Patreon, but still need support from fans.

When and where will it be released? The alpha of the MMO started in July 2019. In a new post on Facebook, the developers wrote that Shadow’s Kiss is set to release on Steam for PC in the summer of 2021 – if all goes well.
They want to send a first build for review, and if it is accepted, the MMO could be released as early as July. The development has been delayed due to updates that are now temporarily being halted in favor of the launch and because of a problem with the patcher.

Four years of development for vampires and eroticism
In Shadow’s Kiss, you can play your vampire in different roles. You have five paths available, which resemble character classes a bit:

Lords or Ladies of the Night, noble vampires from the path of the “true” vampires
Lilin, succubi, and incubi from the demonic path

Your evolution as a vampire apparently takes a little longer.
Sexuality also plays a role in Shadow’s Kiss. Even during character creation, you can set your gender, your motivation, and your sexual orientation. Your interest in other (or the same) genders is supposed to be important in social interactions and quests.

This is how the year 2021 went for Schalke: They met expectations in LoL, even exceeded them slightly. For Schalke, the year and the playoffs went better than expected. In the regular season, they finished in 4th place, in the first round of the playoffs, they had a duel on par with the top stars of G2. No one expected this.

Why might this have been Schalke’s last game in the LEC? Schalke 04 is in great financial trouble, as reported in the news. Endless Mass: This ability summons a gravitational stone that attracts all enemies in the vicinity and inflicts bleeding damage. It then explodes, damaging all enemies in the area.
Gravity Leap: You can hover in the air and launch a powerful drop attack on targeted enemies.
This is how it’s played: With Endless Mass, you can concentrate enemies at one spot and take out smaller enemies in one shot. You can then either jump into the fray with Gravity Leap, or eliminate the remaining enemies with your weapon. Golem protects you from damage and makes you the offensive tank.
Weapons, Armors, Mods

Minefield is a particularly good offensive modification. The damage from the explosions is actually higher than the mod states. The passive bonuses from the skill tree further enhance the damage.
Life Stock ensures that you constantly recover health points as soon as you reload. In combination with the abilities of the Devastator, you will become the offensive tank.
Secondary Weapon (Shotgun)
Icebreaker: Killshots on frozen enemies trigger an explosion that damages enemies in the vicinity. (Cooldown: 1 sec.)
Improved Freezing Bullets: Shots cause a frost effect on enemies. (Cooldown: 4 sec.)
This weapon is particularly effective against boss enemies due to the frost effect. However, the armor mods are even more important for the build.
These are the essential armor mods:
Golem of Death: Extends the duration of Golem for each kill by 2 seconds
Resistance: When Golem is active, resistance is increased by 33 %
Perseverance: Extends the duration of Golem by 100 %
Optional but very useful: Buckshot Shells (Increases shotgun damage by 10 %) and What Goes Around (Incoming hits have a 30 % chance of being reflected)
In combination with the modifications, Golem becomes the most important skill of this build, making you an absolute tank, lasting significantly longer and being extendable with kills.

The biggest LoL team in the world is T1, led by three-time world champion Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok (24). However, the star of the Koreans is fading in the League of Legends. Once again, they lost to Gen G. in the LCK 2021 playoffs. They had already stolen the fourth World Championship title from the Korean stars in 2017 and prevented their participation in the 2020 World Championship.

The mid-laner from Gen G., Bdd, took all 3 MVP titles with Orianna and Syndra. Faker’s direct opponent ended up with 8 kills and an impressive 19 assists: In the first two games, Bdd didn’t die at all; only in game 3 did he fall twice.
Faker played Viktor and Zoe. He ended the series with a single kill, died 6 times, and only got 3 assists.

Farming Titan and Loot – Here’s how
What kind of farming spot is this? Throughout the main story of Outriders, you will encounter the Chrystaloid. This is a powerful creature that you can easily defeat. You meet Chrystaloid in the sixth chapter “Forest Enclave” as the second boss of the game – or as the fourth if you also count Gauss and Moloch.
Here’s how to do it:
Kill the boss
Return to the lobby
Select the corresponding story point
Kill the boss again
Always stay in cover when the boss prepares to scream.
What can you get? Once you’ve managed it, there is epic loot as a reward every time. On the first kill, you even receive a guaranteed legendary drop.
With every subsequent kill, you will receive two epic equipment drops. This works even on World Tier 1, the easiest difficulty level.
How do you defeat the boss? It can get a bit tricky, especially for solo players. The most common approach is:
In the first phase of the fight, you should immediately position yourself on the left side of the field
Make sure not to stand too far from the boss, as you will deal less damage
Aim for his shoulders, which are the weak points
Dodge his attacks by taking cover. The game shows you his area attacks, so pay attention to the red warnings.
In the second phase, insects will spawn now and then. Here you should be careful not to be overwhelmed, as they will appear behind you while you are focused on the boss.

With a group, ideally, you need about two minutes for the whole procedure, so you can farm epic loot quite quickly, dismantle it, and get Titan. There’s another method available earlier: the “Hunted” and “Hunter” missions.
What are these missions? In Trench Town, you unlock these types of quests that send you hunting for monsters and villains. In these missions, you also receive guaranteed epic drops.
Another method is recommended by MeinMMO reader Dunedain: He farms his Titan in the side mission “Historian-Timeless,” which you find in the main mission “Inferno.” Kill the boss, leave the artifact behind, and simply exit the mission again. You can repeat this as often as you like. There are several such missions where this works.
Keep in mind that these methods are good for the story and the path to the endgame. Once you unlock the expeditions, you will have better ways to get loot and Titan.

The misfortune unfolded last night after xQc killed a police officer in GTA 5 Online, who was played by another streamer. The “dead police officer” relayed this information to other streamers: He murmured, choking: “It was X.”

One of the coolest features of Outriders is the 15 World Tiers. With them, you can influence the difficulty of the loot shooter, among other things. MeinMMO explains how they work.
What are World Tiers? These are the dynamic difficulty levels of Outriders. They influence the game’s difficulty, your chances for rare loot, and also provide rewards for unlocking each tier.
They can be changed at any time during the game, even in the middle of a mission. In total, there are 15 World Tiers, which become particularly important for you in the endgame after the story. The following factors are influenced by them:
Enemy level (lower or higher than the player’s level)
Loot level (lower or higher than the player’s level)
Modifier for the drop chance of rare equipment
Modifier for the drop chance of legendary drops
Permanent unlocks (for example, increased caps for equipment that are at a higher level than the player)
Rewards for unlocking such as equipment or accolades (emotes, banners, etc.)

World Tiers can be unlocked if you are good enough
How to unlock World Tiers: You start at level 1 and always have a display at the top of the screen that shows your progress.
For each successful mission and each kill, the display fills up. If the display is full, the next World Tier is unlocked. If the difficulty is too high and you die frequently, you will lose progress and the bar will gradually empty.
Can you drop back down? This does not mean that you can lose World Tiers again. Once they are unlocked, they remain so. It just means that you cannot advance because, for example, your equipment is not strong enough yet.
So the game tells you: “Collect more equipment and work on your builds, then it will work with the next World Tier.” It is an automatic adjustment to your progress.
Especially in the endgame, the higher World Tiers become particularly important when it comes to endgame content.
That’s why World Tiers are so important: According to the developers People Can Fly, the campaign of Outriders will engage you for about 30-40 hours and take you to level 30. There, equipment can be collected up to equipment level 52 and the particularly difficult expeditions become available. There are a total of 15 expeditions. These are missions designed to keep you busy in the endgame.

That’s why you don’t drop legendary loot: The chance for legendary weapons remains low, even at high difficulty. Because the increased chance does not mean that you now have, for example, a 25% chance for legendary drops at World Tier 5.
The +25% comes from the base chance for a drop. If the drop rate for a legendary weapon were at 1%, the chance at World Tier 5 would be 1.25%, and at World Tier 15 it would be 3%.
What is the chance? This is not exactly known. The calculation mentioned above is only for orientation, in which low range the chance for a legendary item could move.
