In League of Legends, a team already looks like the clear favorite to win the LoL Worlds 2021. DAMWON Gaming seems unstoppable, having won everything in 2020. However, 2021 could be the last year the top players stay together, as China appears to lure with big money.

The first update for Outriders is available on Xbox consoles since the past weekend. Therefore, crossplay is functioning as intended again. However, due to the inventory bug, many are avoiding multiplayer.
What was the problem with the crossplay feature? At the release of Outriders, crossplay was only partially functional and was not at all possible between consoles and PCs.

A new hotfix has made changes to World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. As a result, 3 new achievements have been added to the game, rewarding you with more Anima.

Square Enix launches the PS5 beta of the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV. We explain how you can participate without a subscription and what is included in the beta.
What can you expect in the beta? The beta of the PS5 version of Final Fantasy XIV starts today, April 13, at 12 PM along with the update 5.5. You can expect higher resolutions, more FPS, and faster loading times. Additionally, the DualSense controller from Sony’s current console is supported, just like 3D audio. The UI will also receive an update.
Owners of the PS4 version can experience the entire MMORPG in the beta. There are no content restrictions.
Resolutions: 4K (2160p) / WQHD (1440p) / Full HD (1080p). Depending on the capability of your television, the resolution will be scaled accordingly.
Performance: The resolutions WQHD (1440p) and Full HD (1080p) run at 60 FPS. In 4K, the frame rate is expected to be around 40 FPS. Further details about the new monitor have now become known through the Chinese retailer Taobao (Taobao.com). The price of the Odyssey G9 S49AG95NC is around 1,900 euros. But note that the price is not yet official, and we convert the Chinese currency into euros.

What is special about the new version? Especially with brightness, the new monitor makes a significant leap forward. Instead of 10 lighting zones, the new monitor is supposed to offer 2,048 brightness zones. However, LED displays do not have the issue of possible burn-in of static images. This is better for users who work at the monitor.
The monitor is also supposed to provide a brightness of 2000 cd/m². For HDR representation, a minimum of 400 cd/m² or higher is required. With this brightness, the screen is even certified with “VESA DisplayHDR 2000”. The special thing about it is: so far there is officially no “VESA DisplayHDR 2000.” The current standard is HDR 1400. VESA describes a certificate on how well a display is suitable for HDR playback.
The new gaming monitor is primarily aimed at enthusiasts who have matching hardware
Samsung charges more than 1,000 euros for its new high-end model. That’s quite a lot of money at first. But who is it aimed at?
Who is the monitor aimed at? Interested parties should basically understand that you need appropriate hardware to really operate this monitor. To achieve 240Hz at full resolution, you need at least an RTX 2080 or an RTX 3080. Therefore, the monitor is primarily aimed at enthusiasts.
In gaming, you also have to consider that the games support the large resolutions. How significant the differences are at 32:9 has been presented by GameStar in an article. GameStar looked at how much performance 32:9 costs compared to 16:9.
In competitive games, you have the advantage of having a wider field of view than players who play on 16:9. Other games like Overwatch try to create an artificial zoom so that resolutions like 21:9 and 16:9 resemble each other and no advantage is gained for players.
How big is actually 32:9? You can think of a monitor in ultra-wide format (32:9) and 49 inches as two WQHD monitors each with 27 inches side by side, just without the annoying bezel of individual screens. The resolution is not quite 4K but comes close. Instead of two monitors, you have one large monitor. This further enhances immersion while gaming. In the 27-inch range, Samsung already offers the Odyssey G7. According to Rtings.com, this is one of the best gaming monitors you can get for the Xbox Series X at a resolution of 1440p.
The Samsung Odyssey G7 is the smaller representative and primarily addresses WQHD and mid-range gamers.
How good is the predecessor? The predecessor already managed to impress reviewers. For example, Rtings.com describes the Samsung Odyssey G9 LC49G95T as an excellent gaming monitor that impresses mainly with its good response speed and strong display. Some users primarily criticized issues with G-Sync. However, these have supposedly been resolved by now.
However, the curvature is not suitable for all uses. Due to the strong curvature, it is only suitable for gaming and office work, but not for video and image editing.
If you are enthusiasts and looking for a large monitor, keep an eye on the Odyssey G9. However, if you already own the predecessor, the successor model may not be worth it.

New Story Takes You into Battle Against Terrible Monsters
What is the story about? The new chapter takes you back to the storyline surrounding the Abyss Order, a powerful legion of monsters from the abyss. They seek to combat humanity and the civilization of the surface and are considered the main antagonistic faction along with the Fatui.
The chapter begins with Ganyu and Lan telling you that the treasure keepers from Mondstadt and Liyue are meeting to investigate ruins. These are said to be connected to the Abyss Order.
Your path then leads you to these ruins and into battle with the Abyss Order.
How can one play the new story? To experience the new chapter, you must meet the following requirements:
Reach Adventure Rank 36 or higher
Complete the previous prologue quest “Bough Keeper: Dainsleif”
Complete the story quest “The Meaning of Lupical”. You receive this from the character Razor.
To start the quest, you need to travel to the Adventurers’ Guild in Liyue and speak with Ganyu there.
What’s next in Genshin Impact? The update 1.5 is expected to be released at the end of April. The special feature is housing. But beyond that, there will also be some interesting new additions.

How can you create status effects? There are mainly two methods to achieve this in Outriders: your weapons and your skills. The status effects caused by weapons are mainly determined by mods, while your skills depend on the respective class.
Each status effect has a different impact and can be an important part of a build or even an entire class. For example, the skills of the Pyromancer are based on the fire element and the status effect of burning.
But what status effects are there and what do they bring? We summarize this for you.
What are mods? Mods or modifications can be found in Outriders on equipment from the rare (blue) level. They give weapons and armor pieces certain effects and bonuses. This ranges from causing status effects to extra effects for your skills.
With Outriders’ generous crafting system, equipment can be modified and once unlocked mods can be placed on other equipment pieces. This allows you to build your own builds.

Enemy Control
Frost: Freezes enemies for 3.5 seconds.

Burning: Deals damage every 0.5 seconds for 6 seconds. The damage corresponds to 3.7% of your anomaly power.

Bleeding: Deals damage every 0.5 seconds for 5 seconds. The damage corresponds to 2.5% of your anomaly power.
These values can also be active simultaneously.
Debuffs
Vulnerability: Enemies take 15% more damage for 10 seconds.
Weakness: Enemies deal 30% less damage for 10 seconds.
The Technomancer can poison and freeze with their skills.
What you need to keep in mind: The status effects work as mentioned above. However, if you apply a frost effect more frequently on the same enemy, the duration is shortened. Each enemy also has their own resistance values against status effects.
Elite enemies are particularly resistant or even immune when your status effects are too weak. You should keep this in mind when building your builds around the frost effect, for example. With the right mods and equipment pieces, you can circumvent resistances.
How to enhance your status effects: For this, you can for example increase the status effect power value or your anomaly value in general. These not only affect abilities and cooldowns, but also the strength of your status effects.
