In Fortnite a tournament was held for streamers and professionals, with a total of $100,000 to win. Ninja, Tfue and the organizer DrDisrespect participated and showcased their skills, but the aim god still overwhelmingly defeated everyone.
What kind of tournament was that? It was the $100,000 tournament “Hotshot” organized by DrDisrespect in Fortnite. A total of 16 teams with two players each competed. The goal for the teams was to achieve more kills than the opposing team. All kills in the duo team were counted together, and the team with the most kills received a point.
There were a total of quarter, semi, and ultimately a final showdown.
In the individual finals, two matches were played. If a team caused a tie in the second round, a third round was played.
To ensure fairness among opponents and avoid immediate eliminations, the opposing teams joined a common squad. They chose “teams” and landed separately with their duo partners at different locations on the map.
This ensured that both competing teams could enjoy the same opponent difficulty on the map. Despite the immense pressure and the fact that the professionals had to fight in the “No Build” mode, Tfue’s team won the tournament.
Even without building, Tfue takes down everything and everyone

But it wasn’t just Team Tfue and Ninja that were in attendance. DrDisrespect himself and other teams like Bonsaibroz and Summit1G also tried their luck at the prize money. Despite all efforts, the professional and aim god Tfue still won the final against Typical Gamer.
How did Tfue manage that? Armed with a burst rifle, a drum shotgun, and a jetpack, Tfue destroyed everything and everyone in his line of sight. Both in the air and on the ground, he was able to outplay countless players without building, and with ease.
You can see in his recordings how focused and precise he places his shots. He hardly misses any shots and is confident in every situation. In moments where no opponent is visible, he already fires and takes down an entire team with ease.
It wasn’t just his selected weapons and equipment that helped him achieve victory, but also his talent in handling them. If you aim to reach his level, you will need to train hard.
What do you think of such tournaments? Would you also like to participate in such a competition and face off against professionals? Let us know in the comments if you could take on Tfue.

On the night of Thursday, June 2, the next big “State of Play” from PlayStation will take place. The event will showcase new trailers and information about upcoming blockbusters for the PS5 and PS4. A leak has apparently revealed the possible course of the event.
The “State of Play” event is used by PlayStation manufacturer Sony as a media event to present new trailers or to publish information about the current state of Sony technology.
This week there will be another “State of Play” stream:
Date: June 2, 11:59 PM, approx. 30 minutes
In advance, there is always a lot of speculation about which games or gadgets PlayStation wants to present to the world. But apparently, a leak has already revealed the course. MeinMMO will show you the supposed schedule.
Please note: The published schedule is a leak. Plans for such an event can change, or the information is simply fake. Please treat the information here in the article with a certain skepticism.
PS5: State of Play June 2022 – Modern Warfare, Street Fighter and VR
What has been leaked? It was already known that the State of Play in June 2022 would focus only on third-party games and the new PlayStation VR 2 (via playstation.com). Here is the complete list of announcements from the leak:
Project Destructive – Announcement Trailer
Stray – Final Trailer
Street Fighter 6 – First Trailer
Project Eve – Trailer
Forspoken – Story Trailer
Little Devil Inside – Gameplay Trailer
Tchia – Story Trailer
PlayStation VR2 – New Details
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (PS VR2) – Announcement Trailer
How credible is the leak? There are no guarantees. The specific times at which a trailer will be shown in the stream are very detailed and could give a hint about its authenticity.
Furthermore, there have been leaks regarding Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, stating that a trailer will be shown during the State of Play. Despite Activision’s acquisition by Microsoft, the cooperation between CoD and PlayStation continues for now.
However, there was also prior speculation about a presentation of Final Fantasy 16, which does not appear on the list. Such lists of announcements for a State of Play have often surfaced beforehand and have rarely turned out to be genuine.
How the State of Play will proceed is still uncertain. But we at MeinMMO will follow the event on Thursday night with you and quickly prepare the latest trailers and information for you.
We are showing you Minecraft shaders for version 1.18. These range from realistic rendering to fantasy. In our selection, you will see some of the best shaders available in 2022 for Minecraft .
What are shaders in Minecraft? Many associate the “block game” Minecraft with its quirky, blocky graphics. While you can upgrade it with resource packs, combining it with Minecraft shaders gives you a truly beautiful, modern graphics experience in the game.
The shaders can be easily downloaded and added to your game. In this overview, we show you pretty shaders that work with the new Minecraft version 1.18 in “Caves & Cliffs”. Given the wide selection of shaders, we aim to incorporate plenty of variety.
How do you install shaders? First, you need to download OptiFine (via optifine.net) or Forge (via minecraftforge.net). Make sure you download the appropriate version for the version of Minecraft installed on your system. Next, install OptiFine or Forge (for this, you need Java, which you can download for free). In the case of OptiFine, after installation, start your Minecraft, and then the program will show up on the left side in the launcher under the game version, and that’s how you start your Minecraft. If you now check the options in Minecraft and go to Graphics, you will find the Shader option. By clicking on the shader folder, the folder on your system opens where you can insert the downloaded shaders from our list as a zip file. Then, simply select the corresponding shader in the graphics options, and you can start playing Minecraft with it.
SEUS shaders with beautiful, realistic graphics
What kind of shader is this? “SEUS” stands for Sonic Ether’s Unbelievable Shaders. On the website, there are various mods from the developer that provide different enhancements and can push your PC to varying degrees. We tested the “SEUS Renewed” pack. It runs quite resource-efficiently while still providing significant visual differences.
The graphical enhancements are not exaggerated but appear soft and realistic. If you prefer this approach in your Minecraft world, this shader will serve you well.
Where can you download the shader? On the SEUS website (via Sonicether.com)
Oceano shaders for water lovers
What kind of shader is this? The Oceano shader makes your water in Minecraft beautiful and realistic. The light reflects on it fantastically. If you generally spend a lot of time on the water in Minecraft, whether boating or playing on islands near the water, Oceano shaders can significantly enhance your experience.
Even off the water, the Oceano shader makes some improvements and breathes fresh colors and soft lighting into nature.
Where can I download the shader? You can download the shader on the Curseforge website (via curseforge.com)
Sildurs shaders with beautiful reflections
What kind of shader is this? The Sildurs shader is well-known in the Minecraft community and has been around for a long time. The careful rendering of direct sunlight is particularly noticeable after installation. The screenshot shows beautiful reflections on the water surface and also gentle lighting from lanterns indoors.
On the website, you can choose between Light, Medium, High, and Extreme. Depending on how powerful your computer is, you can opt for a more extreme setting.

TME for strong gaming PCs with plenty of power
What kind of shader is this? The abbreviation TME stands for “Too Many Effects”. The developers state regarding the shader that their priority is not how many FPS you are playing at. What matters to them is that the visuals look good and that you can extract the maximum effects from the game. The surfaces and water are the shader’s strong points.
To ensure your computer can handle the shader, you should have a powerful graphics card installed.

Naelego’s Cel Shader for Borderlands imitation
What kind of shader is this? With Naelego’s shader, you create a comic-style graphic in your Minecraft. Essentially, objects, animals, and other elements are outlined. This makes the shader reminiscent of the typical style found in Borderlands games. The shader also extracts brighter colors from your game. However, during our testing, we experienced some stutters when quickly flying over the map in Creative mode.
Where can I download the shader? On the MC-PC website (via mc-pc.net)
What kind of shader is this? The Continuum shader ranks among the top realistic shaders. You can observe beautiful reflections on the water, and the clouds in the sky look almost real. With its natural colors, it feels like Minecraft has suddenly become much more modern.
The standard version of the mod requires quite a bit of power from your computer. If your PC cannot provide that but you still want to try the shader, you can opt for a Lite version available on the website.
Where can I download the shader? You can download the shader on the Continuum website (via Continuum.graphics)
If you’ve ever searched for shaders for Minecraft, you know the selection is huge. Here, we have only showcased a selection of the best shaders for Minecraft version 1.18. Perhaps you use some of them yourself or have other recommendations.
Feel free to share your favorite shaders for Minecraft in the comments below and let us know what makes them so good. We are happy to expand this list from time to time with your suggestions.
The next update for Minecraft is already known and it will bring new animals and content for you:
Shortly after the season start in Destiny 2, Guardians can no longer use some options in the game. Bungie had to disable the Solar fragment “Ember of Benevolence” due to issues, as well as the seasonal champion mod “Piercing Sidearm” a little later. MeinMMO will tell you why and how long you need to do without them.
As Bungie Help announced on May 26, just 2 days after the start of the new “Season of the Haunted”, the developer had to disable one of the new Solar 3.0 fragments first. Shortly after, a crucial mod from the seasonal artifact was affected.
The deactivations specifically involve:
the new Solar 3.0 fragment “Ember of Benevolence” (deutsch: Glut des Wohlwollens)
It causes the application of “Restoration”, “Healing” or “Radiant” on allies to grant enhanced grenade, melee, and class ability regeneration for a short time.
As well as the champion mod “Piercing Sidearm” (deutsch: Durchschlagende Pistole)
It ensures that sidearms receive shield-piercing rounds against Anti-Barrier champions.
Update, May 30/ 4:00 PM:
Other seasonal artifact mods also seem to be malfunctioning: Currently, players report on reddit issues in combination with the seasonal artifact mod “Solar Fulmination” (deutsch: Explosive Solar Bedrohung/ Cost: 3 energy).
The 3-class artifact mod causes ignitions to deal increased damage within a larger radius.
The Solar 3.0 fragment is supposed to remain disabled until June 7th. (Subject to change)
What exactly was the problem with mods and the fragment? The Solar 3.0 fragment “Ember of Benevolence” has led to performance issues within the game and did not work as intended with other sources.
The champion mod “Piercing Sidearm”, on the other hand, caused chaos in PvP. As soon as Guardians equipped the seasonal champion mod for their sidearm, it became so incredibly strong in the Crucible that it could not only penetrate Titan barricades or the Titan bubble.
Some sidearm shots even went through walls when players suspected enemies behind them. Basically, as a Guardian, you were not truly safe from this.
And with the artifact mod “Solar Fulmination”, it appears that ignitions spread to your Guardian without the listed benefits. The thread creator jokes about the effects of the artifact mod:
[…] combine the mod with the other seasonal mod “Rays of Precision” and watch how quickly you die “Radiant”! […]
How long will mods and skills remain disabled? At least for the new Solar 3.0 fragment “Ember of Benevolence”, Bungie has already indicated a specific date for the fix. This is supposed to be implemented on June 7th, thus fixing the problem.
For the artifact mod “Piercing Sidearm”, however, no specific date is known yet. Bungie is currently investigating the issue. Since this is one of the important and also necessary champion mods against Anti-Barrier champions, players hope that this bug can be fixed by Bungie sooner rather than later and not have to do without it for too long.
Guardians in Destiny 2 are currently discussing these topics:
As for the seasonal artifact mod “Solar Fulmination”, the developer has not commented on it yet. This effect was only known today. We will update this article as soon as more information is released.
Have you noticed and maybe taken advantage of the mega-artifact boost for the sidearm in PvP? Or did you miss it? Despite the two deactivations: Tell us and other MeinMMO readers in the comments what you think of the new Solar 3.0 abilities and seasonal mods from the Harvester artifact from Season 17 so far?

Finally, with your ultimate, you can choose between the Spectral Guardian and the Crimson Beam. The guardian generates a shield for all allies as long as it’s active. Perfect for blocking predictable damage.
The beam heals all allies in a straight line, deals damage to enemies, and can be realigned. This is ideal when you need to save friends in a critical situation while also dealing with many enemies.
Since the healer build relies heavily on spell power, you are also a powerful mage. Healing and damage are equally influenced by the attribute, allowing you to deal well with spells like Shadow Bolt.
Thus, you are not as helpless as healers in MMOs usually are, but you do urgently need the relatively rare Scholar’s Blood.
Personal Conclusion: Healing is War!
That’s why I love healers in V Rising: Honestly, I’m usually a damage dealer in games, even though I often slip into the support role. In V Rising, I initially wanted to play a mage until I found out that they are also excellent healers.
The fact that the strength of my spells overlaps with my healing is an excellent concept. I don’t feel helpless when the boss turns to me, but rather shoot my offensive spell back at him. No one else needs healing at that moment.
Thanks to the active combat system, I don’t feel like I’m stuck in one place and can only heal. I’m constantly jumping around, looking for the right angle for healing or damage, or even covering my front line fighters. A true battle healer.
The only downside: the teammates. Honestly, mobile tanks like my colleague Maik Schneider constantly run out of healing at the last moment, leaving my spell wasted. It requires some practice, good foresight, or just communication to hit the right target.
Healing is really fun in V Rising because everyone thanks me for not letting them die. And no one has to know that I actually aimed at the enemies…

V Rising is a huge success for the developers on Steam. Within a week, the indie studio sold over a million copies and tens of thousands of players play regularly. The vampire setting seems to be really captivating. V Rising also offers substantial playtime, as a player has already discovered:
With Will-o’-the-wisp Dance, hit enemies deal less damage. While it isn’t direct healing, it is indirect, since you’re preventing damage that would otherwise slip through.
Will-o’-the-wisp Dance summons dancing will-o’-the-wisps around you that deal damage to enemies and weaken them.
Pro tip: use Will-o’-the-wisp Dance together with Veil of Illusions. Activate the dance and jump into the enemies, weaken them, and reactivate the sprint to get back to safety. This way, you won’t be in the danger zone for long, but you’ll help your team.
When choosing weapons, you should rely on the crossbow in a group. It can deal a lot of damage from a distance while your friends hold back enemies for you as you wait for your spells.
With scythes and maces, you can keep enemies at bay who get too close, making them the ideal choice for a secondary weapon.
Finally, with your ultimate, you can choose between the Spectral Guardian and the Crimson Beam. The guardian generates a shield for all allies as long as it’s active. Perfect for blocking predictable damage.

V Rising focuses on an active combat system where enemies want to hit you just as much as you want to hit them. To ensure that a mistake doesn’t immediately take you out, you need one thing above all: healing. MeinMMO shows you which skills and equipment you need to play the perfect healer build – for solo players and groups.
What kind of build is this? After we already showed you our tank build for V Rising, demonstrating how fun it can be to get beaten up, today we present our healer build.
The build mainly focuses on restoring health points for you and your group. You have the possibility to avoid damage and keep yourself as safe as possible.
As a healer, you are at your best when you can stay further away from the group and enemies while ensuring that your teammates, who are protecting you, stay alive.
However, the healer build also works excellently solo, as you can deal massive magical damage while healing yourself at the same time.
Everything you need to know about V Rising can be found here in 2 minutes:
V Rising: Healer Build – Those who live longer have more friends
What does the build look like? Here you can see at a glance what equipment you need – we will explain the exact playstyle and details further below.
Basic Components
Weapons
Crossbow, scythe, or mace
Jewelry
critical spell hit chance and/or cooldown
Travel Ability
Veil of Illusions
Basic Ability
Blood: Blood Spindle
Blood Type
Scholar
Variable Components
Travel Ability
Chaos or Bone Veil
Basic Ability
Unholy: Purgatory
Illusion: Will-o’-the-wisp Dance
Ultimate
Blood: Crimson Beam
Illusion: Spectral Guardian
How do I play the build? The most important thing to note: You can only heal as many health points in combat as are left on your healing target. If you take damage in V Rising, you will gradually lose a portion of your health points over time. This is indicated on the health bar by a nearly black color.
The black portion of the health bar can only be regenerated outside of combat – with items, over time, or through the vampire ability “Blood Healing”.
Unlike tanks, you as a healer don’t stand upfront but as far back as possible. You only use your weapons when absolutely necessary and otherwise, you cast spells as much as you can.
Blood Spindle heals every ally hit by 100% of your spell power and heals yourself by a fraction of that. However, you need to aim well because enemies can also be hit and will take damage. You will always be healed, making this skill a top choice even solo.
If you’re often playing in groups or against many enemies with low health points, Purgatory is worth it. It heals allies in an area and simultaneously deals damage to all enemies. This way, you can heal multiple targets at once.

Elden Ring and The Witcher 3 are two of the most popular games of recent years. While the release of CDPR’s role-playing game has been a while ago, Elden Ring is brand new in 2022. For a fan of Witcher 3, that is enough reason to bring the beloved witcher Geralt into FromSoftware’s action RPG.
Who plays? Reddit user u/Fatg0d aka Clankymocha is a fan of The Witcher 3 and is currently playing Elden Ring. On Reddit, the player shared a video where he copies the combat style of Geralt of Rivia from the popular role-playing game in Elden Ring.
The video was posted 10 days ago on Reddit and has since gained great popularity. The clip has been viewed 2.3 million times, received 49,500 upvotes, and over 1,000 comments.
Here you can see the video from u/Fatg0d on Reddit, where he presents his Geralt build in Elden Ring:

How did he copy Geralt? In order to copy Geralt of Rivia and his distinct combat style in Elden Ring, Fatg0d needed not only two swords. He also used magical effects that resemble the witcher’s signs and items like potions to represent the effects of Witcher oils and potions.
The “Elden Ring” Geralt also does not use extraordinary armor but wears simple prisoner clothing in combination with leather boots and gloves.
While Fatg0d quite convincingly replaced the Witcher sign “Igni” with “Flame of Redmanes”, he had to creatively reinterpret the sign “Quen”. For this, the Reddit user used “Opaline Bubbletear” to create a protective shield of bubbles around his character and generate a protective effect. You can see the complete list of items used by Fatg0d here:
Sword 1: The Claymore
Sword 2: The Banished Knight’s Greatsword
Prisoner clothing, leather boots, leather gloves
Witcher Sign Igni: Magical Effect Flame of Redmanes
Witcher Sign Yrden: Magical Effect Waves of Darkness
Witcher Sign Quen: Opaline Bubbletear
Witcher Sign Aard: War Ashes Storm Blade
Geralt of Rivia is considered a legendary character for RPG players and Witcher fans. However, in Elden Ring, a very special player established himself in the community through his helpful behavior as a legend. See his story on MeinMMO in the video:

A half-naked player in Elden Ring became a community legend – This is his story
Elden Ring and The Witcher share more than just the ability to carry two swords, wear leather clothing, and use similar spells.
CDPR’s role-playing game is nearly as grim as FromSoftware’s action RPG. Additionally, you fight in both games using melee techniques against evil monsters and hideous creatures.
Yet among all the similarities, the two games probably most resemble each other in their success and popularity among players. While The Witcher 3 was already voted Game of the Year 2015 in the past, Elden Ring is among the strong favorites for the title in 2022.
Also on the review site Metacritic, Elden Ring is already one of the highest-rated games of all time.
Through the Wayfarer platform, you have the chance to submit your suggestions for new PokéStops in Pokémon GO. YouTuber ChaosLady is passionate about this topic, which is why we at MeinMMO spoke with her. Below, you can read what tips she has for you.
What is it about? In Pokémon GO, trainers have the opportunity to actively participate in shaping the game by submitting new PokéStops in the form of suggestions through the Niantic platform Wayfarer.
YouTuber ChaosLady is very active there as well. In an interview with MeinMMO, she revealed to us what the DOs and DON’Ts are in this context. She also shared some tips on what you should pay attention to when applying for new PokéStops.
Since 2013, she has been playing Ingress (now Ingress Prime) and has been actively involved in Pokémon GO since its release on July 6, 2016. At that time, she had already reached the maximum level in Ingress and submitted several hundred new Wayspots.
In her videos, she often focuses on this topic related to Wayfarer, which is why we wanted to know more from her about it.
What does this have to do with Ingress Prime? Ingress Prime is also a game by Niantic. There, players can also submit suggestions for new interesting locations with the help of Wayfarer, which are then displayed in the game as portals. Until 2019, Pokémon GO players could only submit new Wayspots through their Ingress access.
Only after that could players also submit portals without help from Ingress. However, submitted Wayspots continue to be applicable for both Ingress Prime and Pokémon GO to this day. So it may be that your suggestion is accepted but only appears in Ingress Prime.
ChaosLady has reviewed so many suggestions on Wayfarer
Wayfarer is the official platform through which trainers can apply for new PokéStops. In ChaosLady’s YouTube videos, it is evident how passionately she is using Wayfarer. For this reason, we wanted to know from her how many suggestions she has already reviewed.
ChaosLady: “I really enjoy Wayfarer. What drives me is the fact that it improves gaming enjoyment for all of us. I have reviewed a total of 11,140 suggestions, which may sound like a lot, but it isn’t when you consider that the system has been online since 2017.”
Good to know: She further explains that the Wayfinder, the person who submitted the suggestion, can also file an appeal against a rejected Wayspot. This will then be reviewed directly by the Niantic Wayfarer team. Additionally, suggestions can be submitted for both Pokémon GO and Ingress Prime.
No-Gos that everyone should know and consider
Due to the many suggestions that ChaosLady has already seen and reviewed on Wayfarer, we wanted to know what trainers should pay attention to when submitting new PokéStops.
ChaosLady: “There are absolute No-Gos that one should know and consider. Basically, visible faces or license plates should not be present in the Wayspot photo (the first photo of the suggestion). It should not be too dark or blurry, and the photo must not contain a watermark.”
Furthermore, ChaosLady mentions places where Wayspots should not be submitted. These include:
Kindergartens
Schools (except for universities)
Places inaccessible to pedestrians, such as highways, unsecured railways, military bases
Adult-oriented places, such as liquor or firearm stores, stores with sexual content
These mistakes are made most frequently when applying for new Stops
In addition to the No-Gos that everyone should consider, trainers also frequently make other mistakes when applying for new PokéStops, which leads to rejections. ChaosLady shared her most common reason for rejections with us.
ChaosLady: “My most common reason for rejection is when I cannot assign the suggestion via the satellite image embedded in Wayfarer. The Wayfinder may submit two photos, the Wayspot photo and the environment photo. The latter helps the reviewers to see if the GPS location is correct.”
Important note: According to ChaosLady, one should ensure that the image shows as much of the surroundings as possible. Particularly prominent points and landscape features, as well as existing Wayspots, play a crucial role in this, as they aid in better orientation in the image. ChaosLady recommends taking the photo in landscape format.
However, there is one more criterion that can lead to exclusion: “Another problem is spelling mistakes in titles and descriptions. According to Niantic, this should not be a reason for rejections, but the past has shown that these submissions are rejected at an above-average rate. So pay attention to this.”
Two more tips: In this context, ChaosLady also has two tips for you to consider when applying for new Wayspots:
Describe the object correctly: So don’t just say that it’s a great place for a PokéStop, but focus on the object. Keep in mind that the Wayspot is also used for other games.
Geodata in the environment photo: Using camera apps, you have the option to integrate your GPS coordinates into the image, which can help during the evaluation for verifying the location, especially with outdated or blurry satellite images.
Suggestions that are frequently accepted
Based on the extensive experience ChaosLady has with Wayfarer, we asked her for her assessment of which suggestions are often approved.
ChaosLady: “Generally, it can be said that anything that is public and easily accessible is a point of interest, not restricted or private in access, or a meeting point for people is well suited for a Wayspot.”
Provided that the factors surrounding the respective suggestion fit, ChaosLady states that the following objects are thus relatively often accepted by the community:
Artworks (statues, murals, painted utility boxes)
Fountains
Religious sculptures (as long as they are not in a cemetery)
Public playgrounds (not at schools or kindergartens)
Sports equipment or sports fields
Sports clubs
Information on signs or display cases
Public libraries
Churches
Monuments
Theaters
Town halls
Skate parks
What you should pay attention to when you want to start with Wayfarer
To submit your own suggestions via Wayfarer, you must have at least Trainer Level 38. However, that is not enough, as ChaosLady revealed to us in the interview. Besides the Trainer Level, passing an eligibility test also plays a decisive role. Once you meet these criteria, you can get started right away. But what is important now?
ChaosLady: “As a Wayspot applicant, you should keep an eye on your status and statistics. Only then can you see if your assessments align with the community’s. If you deviate too much from the global opinion/direction, they will change for the worse.
Currently, a negative status means that your assessment will no longer be included in the overall assessment of a Wayspot. What other disadvantages may be introduced in the future, I cannot yet assess at this time. Niantic continuously develops its systems and responds to feedback from the community. This makes things exciting for all of us.”
For those who want to know more: ChaosLady also invites interested people to her community on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter, and Discord. There she provides more helpful tips regarding the game and Wayfarer. Additionally, you can also upload suggestions on her community server on Discord before the actual submission to get initial feedback.
Weekly, she posts at least two videos on her YouTube channel about Wayfarer. In these, she not only reviews the Wayspots but also provides insights into the Niantic Wayfarer Forum and shares Niantic news and decisions on current Wayspot discussions.
Her goal is to bring her viewers closer to these experiences and impressions. So it’s worth checking out.
Are you as active on Wayfarer as ChaosLady? How many suggestions have you already reviewed? Or do you now want to submit new PokéStops yourself? Let us know in the comments here on MeinMMO and exchange thoughts with other trainers on the topic.
In the coming weeks, there will be a lot happening in Pokémon GO. We have summarized all events of June for you and show which ones are particularly worth attending.

You always wanted to game and work from bed, but lacked the right gadget? A company has now introduced a special table.
What kind of company is this? The company Bauhütte regularly releases gaming accessories to help gamers with their hobby. After first presenting the perfect bed for gamers, there is now the next product for gamers: a table that allows you to game directly from bed.
But what kind of gadget is this and what does the device actually bring?
What kind of gadget is this? The gadget is designed to be used from the side of the bed, with the keyboard and mouse positioned just above the stomach. The table is also on wheels, allowing you to easily move and reposition it. According to Bauhütte, the table should also work with beds that are very high or if you like to sleep on very thick mattresses.
According to the manufacturer, the table features a special tilt function. This function ensures that you can adjust the angle of the tabletop so that your wrists are not strained even in a lying position.
The table has dimensions of 90 cm width, 30.5 cm depth, and 53-76 cm height. Overall, the table weighs just under 19 kg, making it very robust. The load capacity is a maximum of 8 kg. Normally, one should not exceed this weight with the mouse, keyboard, and so on.
However, the table from Bauhütte still cannot solve one disadvantage. If you want to go to the toilet, you still have to get up and walk to the restroom. The gadget doesn’t take that away from you yet. But perhaps Bauhütte will also present a practical gadget for this in the future, since they have already introduced a gadget for your hands:
How much does the table cost and when will it be available? The manufacturer did not specify a concrete release date, but the price is supposed to be around 150 euros.
Such side tables without gaming have existed for several years
Such auxiliary or side tables for the bed or couch are not an invention of the company Bauhütte. You can also buy such tables or devices from other companies for significantly less than 100 euros.
Oops, unfortunately this affiliate widget is no longer available.
One company even believes that with such a device, it can solve all your problems at the desk. But the price is quite steep and is significantly higher than the gadget from Bauhütte:
For League of Legends, a dispute has been raging for several months regarding Andy “Reginald” Dinh, the controversial boss of Team SoloMid. TSM is the largest team in North American LoL. Dinh has been accused of mistreating his staff. In an internal investigation, he has now been cleared of allegations made by former player Yilang “Doublelift” Peng. Doublelift is spewing venom on Twitter toward the former boss.
This is the situation:
The boss of TSM, Reginald, was once a pro himself, shaping one of the largest e-sports organizations in the world from a LoL fan site over 12 years. However, many players and key executives have left TSM in recent months.
One of his former players, Doublelift, accused Reginald in November 2021 of being solely responsible for TSM’s decline. Reginald is a tyrant, who has belittled and demeaned staff and players for years. Nowadays, no one wants to work for him.
Due to these accusations and some other incidents, Riot Games and TSM themselves initiated an internal investigation against Reginald.
“Harsh and rough tone”, but allegations were not confirmed
This is the result of TSM’s investigation: The firm assigned to the investigation has now presented its findings. They spoke with 31 current or former employees of TSM and other companies associated with Dinh (via drive).
Essentially, Reginald is cleared of the accusations. It is said that while he often made comments in an “aggressive and rough” manner, most employees stated that it was related to work performance, not to the employees personally.
However, three witnesses testified that Reginald referred to employees as “stupid”, “garbage”, or “worthless”.
However, there were no sexist, racist remarks or other harassment.
Probably the biggest critic of Reginald: This is Doublelift, a LoL legend.
Boss must uphold
What is the result now? Dinh is to participate in “mandatory leadership coaching”. Other senior executives are also to be coached. Additionally, a hotline is to be established through which employees can complain anonymously.
This is how Dinh responds: The boss of TSM has released a sort of “half-apology”. He says he got into a leadership role very early, worked with friends for a long time, and they joked around a lot.
He himself realizes that he cannot lead a large company in this way and wants to work on himself.
Dinh emphasizes that he never had bad intentions, and he highlights how far he has brought the company in recent years. Now he wants to face new challenges.

This is how Doublelift reacts: Under Reginald’s statement, his nemesis Doublelift posts a tweet:
“Terrible person + you investigated yourself + No friends + Ratio”
By Ratio, it is meant that people should like his tweet to show that they are dissatisfied with Reginald’s statement:
Reginald’s statement received 1,340 likes
Doublelift’s received 15,909 – more than ten times that.
The sympathies seem to be clearly distributed. While in the comments, some note that Reginald and Doublelift are probably much more similar than they would like to believe.
This is now a new twist, as it turns out that Reginald has gotten off relatively lightly in the internal investigation by TSM. Just at the beginning of May, the situation looked much darker after a major report. Ultimately, however, one must wait for the investigation by Riot Games:
Exformer employee of ArenaNet, the developer of Guild Wars 2, complains on Twitter that the billion-dollar company NCSoft owes her $400. The company refuses to pay her, as the former cinematic animator describes on Twitter.
What is the situation? The studio behind Guild Wars 2, ArenaNet, belongs to the billion-dollar company NCSoft, which can primarily make high profits with mobile games. Until recently, the employee Da-Hee Im worked at ArenaNet, and she was involved in the cutscenes of the well-known MMORPG Guild Wars 2.
Now she shares on Twitter that the corporation owes her $400 in salary and will no longer pay it. The reason is that she left the company on May 27th, and NCSoft allegedly will not pay the promised pay raise from April.
Why is this happening? The former developer explains on Twitter that salary increases at ArenaNet are paid retroactively by NCSoft.
This means that, for example, you receive a salary increase in April, but you still receive your old salary. At the end of the year, the difference between the new and old salary is paid out at once.
Start video
Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons launches next week – video summarizes the story since release
According to Da-Hee Im, she received a salary increase on April 9th, but it was already known that the animator would leave the company on May 27th. For this reason, NCSoft now refuses to pay her the salary difference for the nearly two months. It amounts to $400, as she writes on Twitter.
“This is self-sabotage and really stupid”
Why the company is harming itself: The former developer further explains on Twitter that NCSoft harms not only employees but also itself with this strategy. Because in this way, the corporation encourages employees not to tell anyone when they plan to leave the company.
In the USA, where ArenaNet is located, there is, unlike in Germany, no statutory notice period. Unless otherwise agreed contractually with the employer, employees can disappear from one day to the next, which can lead to organizational difficulties for the company.
By refusing to pay employees such amounts when it is already certain they will leave the company, they would promote these spontaneous exits. “This is self-sabotage and really stupid. It encourages people neither to inform the company nor their team or manager before they leave.”
Why the complaints on Twitter? According to Im, the employer did not communicate to her that there was any such regulation at all. It is also not stated in any of the employee handbooks. “As I see it, this regulation was only indicated with a single point on a single slide of a presentation, and that was only for managers,” Im writes on Twitter.
She concludes the thread on Twitter rather sadly and says:
I will always love my colleagues at ArenaNet, but I will never forget that I wanted to be polite and cooperative, stayed in the company until May 27th, just to get a knife in the back unnecessarily. […] 4 years of memories, completely ruined. And for what?
Currently, there is no statement from ArenaNet or NCSoft regarding the claims. However, we will keep you updated should this change.
What do you think of the entire situation? Do you understand the frustration of the former employee? Or do you simply find it strange that a billion-dollar company refuses to pay $400? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments here at MeinMMO.
The H4 Blixen debuted in Mid-Season 3 / 2022 for Call of Duty: Warzone and has impressed critics since day one. Experts immediately see the submachine gun in the weapon meta and sometimes even directly as the best SMG. MeinMMO provides tips for unlocking, showcases a strong setup, and gives an assessment of the weapon.
What kind of weapon is this? The H4 Blixen is an SMG with great versatility that fits very well in Call of Duty: Warzone. With its attachments, strong setups can be built for close combat, but also sniper support setups with a little more range.
However, the submachine gun from Mid-Season 3 is not a laser; it comes with a bit of recoil character. This allows the weapon to do slightly more damage, and the balance between damage and recoil is at a very good point.
As a result, the H4 Blixen shoots straight to the top of the weapon meta right after its release – even though it is somewhat broken and has to be unlocked first. MeinMMO shows you a strong setup and gives tips for unlocking.

After the numerous weapon changes in Mid-Season 3, the old meta weapons lost ground, and the newcomer H4 Blixen rises right to the top among close combat weapons.
The new submachine gun delivers strong damage and high mobility. However, the H4 comes with a noticeable recoil that can be well controlled with some practice.
Compared to the Owen Gun or Type 100, the recoil is higher, but you have more damage and mobility.
Note: Shortly after its release, the H4 Blixen is a bit buggy. The animations sometimes get stuck, causing you to lose time. The developers are working on the issue, but even with the bugs, the SMG is very strong.
To unlock the submachine gun, there are currently 3 options:
CoD Vanguard: Multiplayer: 3 kills while sliding in 15 different matches (Vanguard)
CoD Vanguard: Zombies: Eliminate 50 Zaballa enemies with an SMG
Modern Warfare: 3 kills while sliding in 15 matches
Players have found out that you can even unlock the SMG in CoD MW 2019. You don’t even need to use an SMG. Start “Shipment” when it is active and slide with a shotgun through the container map.
After the 3 kills, you can leave the match and start the next round immediately. Progress can then only be checked in Warzone.
In Destiny 2, there is a new trick circulating that allows you to generate a lot of legendary shards with minimal effort. Players are currently taking advantage of this, but will they be punished for it?
What are legendary shards? In Destiny 2, there is an important premium currency that allows you to purchase special items from various vendors. However, legendary shards are a rarity for some Guardians, as you can only obtain them in two ways:
Dismantling legendary gear and weapons
Completing activities such as the Crucible, Strikes, or Gambit
Players have now discovered a trick in Season 17 that allows you to transition from a sunk cost to a carefree Guardian life.
Easy trick for quick legendary shards
We explain the trick to you, but keep in mind that MeinMMO does not take responsibility for possible consequences. You bear the full risk for potential bans.
Here’s how the trick works: You will need a lot of time, strong fingers, and a huge amount of Glimmer for this simple trick. If your Glimmer runs low, you can visit Rahool in the Tower. He will supply you with the necessary resource.
To get the shards, you need to do the following:
Go to your Guardian menu and select “Collections”
Then select “Armor”
Now navigate to the “Leveling” section
You need to pull the new blue armor from the expansion “Witch Queen“
The armor has a different name for each class
Warlock – Investigator Suit
Titan – Midnight Grasp Suit
Hunter – Sniffer’s Edge Suit
You will then restore these armors for 777 Glimmer and dismantle them immediately
If you did everything correctly, you will receive four legendary shards and 250 Glimmer for it
The Investigator Suit is interesting for your Warlock
Normally, dismantling the blue armor only grants you Glimmer. It is also strange how this issue has arisen at all. Upon the release of the Witch Queen, the trick was not present, and players do not receive legendary shards from armor of “Rare” rarity. So if you’re low on Glimmer, this trick comes in handy.
Can I get banned for this? Since this is not a nasty and nerve-wracking exploit that disrupts the experience of other players, it is difficult to assess whether exploiters can be banned for it.
Bungie could still temporarily ban you or remove your ill-gotten legendary shards. However, more severe consequences are not to be expected, as the bug only affects the game’s economy and no players have to suffer for it. So you could use it as long as it lasts.
What do you think of the exploit? Will you use it as you are short on Glimmer, or do you already have so many legendary shards that you don’t need such tricks anymore? Feel free to let us know in the comments!

Diablo Immortal will be released on June 2 for Android, iOS, and PC. But what if you want to play earlier? Allegedly, you can start a day prior. However, fans doubt whether this is actually possible.
When can I play? Actually, Diablo Immortal is set to kick off in Germany at 7:00 PM on Thursday, June 2, as Blizzard explained in a roadmap prior to release. Currently, a preload is available only for PC.
However, Diablo YouTuber and expert jessirocks suspects that you might be able to play up to a day earlier. That would be starting from Wednesday, June 1. His estimation is that you could start between 8 and 12, maybe even 24 hours earlier.
jessirocks has been covering Diablo, Path of Exile, and other action RPGs for many years with his content. In a podcast, he already discussed Diablo Immortal, Diablo 4, and the genre in general with colleagues from GameStar.
According to jessirocks, early access is related to the update cycle of the shops from Apple and Google. They supposedly do not strictly adhere to the release times set by publishers. But does that really work?

How can I play early? To be able to play earlier, you need to manually check your store starting from June 1. Search for “Diablo Immortal” and see if you can install the game:
Once you can install the game, theoretically you should be able to play it as well. However, you will need an account on Battle.net. This must match the one on your PC if you want to retain your progress via cross-save.
If you do not search for the game, you will simply receive a notification at 7:00 PM on June 2 that it is now available. By the way, this does not work on PC; the client will likely be the last to launch. You can find everything about the release of Diablo Immortal in our info hub.
In the video, you will find everything you need to know about Diablo Immortal in 3 minutes:

Is this really possible? In the comments of the video, some users doubt whether Diablo Immortal can actually be played earlier this way. After all, an internet connection and Blizzard’s servers are required to play.
However, those very servers are not online yet, commenters suspect. Even if the game can be downloaded, one might not be able to log in at all. jessirocks himself emphasizes that this is a speculation and not a proven fact.
Whether it ultimately works will only become clear shortly before the release. However, if the servers truly go live punctually at 7:00 PM on June 2, you at least have the option for a preload on iOS and Android. This way, you save the download time and can start right at release.
The online component will be extremely important for Diablo Immortal. The developers repeatedly emphasize that this is a true MMO, and social content is at the forefront. We were able to speak extensively in advance with the Game Director and the Executive Producer:
One of the most sought-after monsters in Pokémon GO is Milza. But what kind of Pokémon is it, and how can you catch it? We have looked at all the facts about Milza and will show you how you can obtain it.
What kind of Pokémon is this? Milza is a Pokémon of the 5th generation of the Dragon type. You can recognize it by its small, dragon-like body and green color. It can evolve into Maxax through Sharfax.
We have revised this article about Milza for you on May 30, 2022, and updated the information regarding the Shiny to the current status.
Locations and chances to obtain Milza
Milza is among the Pokémon that are coveted in the game. This is partly because this monster is not so easy to obtain. We have looked into the ways you can encounter Milza and give you an outlook on how high your chances of an encounter are.
wild spawns: One way to obtain a Milza is to catch it in the wild. It is especially active during windy weather. However, encountering a wild Milza is still a matter of a lot of luck.
As PokeGirll7 writes on Twitter, she caught a wild Milza and didn’t even know she could catch any there (via twitter.com). For her, it was a new entry in the PokéDex. Other users also shared under the post that they have never seen one in the wild (via twitter.com). Trainer BernhardPoGo also emphasizes how rare Milza is (via twitter.com).
Similar experiences can also be observed on reddit, where trainer Bleghel states in his post that he could observe a higher spawn rate of Milza in New Zealand (via reddit.com). However, some players cannot understand this, as they have not discovered one yet.
This is also reflected in user Sodaim’s sarcastic response: “Milza? You mean the monster that sometimes isn’t even on our planet?” (via reddit.com). For this reason, it is advisable to connect with other players in smaller local groups and exchange information about such sightings.
Personal Pokémon: Trainers around The Silph Road have also dealt with the topic of Milza. Their collection was all about sightings at the daily spawns. This is the personal monster you receive every day when you first open the game.
This Pokémon is different for each trainer and can therefore also be a rare monster, like Milza. According to The Silph Road’s own reports, however, they had no luck in encountering one by the end of 2020 (via thesilphroad.com).
Milza
Hatching eggs: You have better chances of obtaining a Milza by hatching 10 km eggs. However, it is also well hidden there. You can already see from the probabilities under your respective egg that it is listed at the very bottom. Thus, it is the rarest monster from this egg.
Chances of Milza from eggs
The community around The Silph Road has also looked into the probabilities regarding the hatching of eggs (via thesilphroad.com). They compiled and evaluated the data of many voluntary trainers who formed a kind of test group.
The statistics are based on a total of 256 hatched 10 km eggs as of January 6, 2022. From their overview, it can be seen that Milza has a probability of 2% of hatching from such an egg.
However, not only the hatching itself poses a challenge, but also obtaining 10 km eggs, as The Silph Road has found out, is not that easy. The chance when spinning at a gym or a PokéStop is just 17.2%.
What is The Silph Road? The Silph Road is a group of trainers, data miners, and Pokémon GO fans who have come together to form a global community. Together, they analyze the game to learn more about the background of Pokémon GO. They then make their results and findings available to other players.
How strong is Milza in Pokémon GO
Milza can only showcase average stats in attack, defense, and stamina in its base form. Also, as seen in the overview from PvPoke, it is rather unsuitable for use in raids and the PvP league (via pvpoke.com). Its evolution Sharfax can only score with a slightly better attack.
However, taking a look at the stats of Maxax, the final evolution of Milza, the strong attack values are immediately noticeable. In defense and stamina, it is somewhat weaker, but it is still a good dragon attacker in the game. Thus, it is well suited for use in raids. In the PvP league, however, Maxax plays a less interesting role.
Shiny Milza
Is Shiny Milza already available to catch in the game? From June 4, 2022, you can find Milza in its shiny form in the game.
What does Shiny Milza look like? You recognize the shiny version of Milza by its slightly darker green color and the red band around its neck. As you can see in the following image, it is therefore slightly distinguishable from its normal form.
Even in Sharfax, the shiny can be distinctly recognized by its dark green color and blue accents. Maxax stands out in this family the most in terms of color. The shiny specimen is gray-black as shown in the image.
Milza, Sharfax, and Maxax normal (top) and in their shiny form (bottom – not yet available in the game)
Is it worth catching Milza?
Given that the evolution of Milza can be convincing with its strong attack values, you have a good dragon attacker for your raid battles with Maxax. However, this is not the only reason why you should try to obtain a Milza.
As the hatching overview from The Silph Road makes clear, Milza is among the rarest monsters in Pokémon GO. This makes this Pokémon something truly special, as not every trainer has it. When hatching, you essentially only have the option of bringing many 10 km eggs to hatch.
However, you have no influence over the contents of the eggs. So, if you are lucky enough to encounter a wild Milza, you should definitely catch it.
Have you been lucky enough to catch a Milza? Or are you diligently hatching eggs to finally get one? Feel free to share your opinion in the comments and exchange ideas with other players on MeinMMO.
What is this Shiny Pin and is it available in Pokémon GO? We have looked into what it’s about and explained it to you.

On League of Legends, the finals of the MSI 2022 took place on Sunday, May 29. The Chinese champions, RNG, faced off against T1, the team led by veteran Faker. Faker’s fans were left pulling their hair out after the series: Why on earth did they let the Chinese play Gwen 3 times?
That’s why anyone can chime in on LoL: In football, there are millions of hobby coaches who tell the national coach from the bar, beer in hand, who he should field instead of the losers he curiously lets play.
In League of Legends, it’s similar: Here, professional teams go through a complicated “pick-and-ban” phase before each match, where they determine which champions they will use and which heroes their opponents must not play.
The draft often provides material for intense discussions after a match.
For China, Royal Never Give Up was in it. This is a team that doesn’t have a standout star: perhaps botlaner GALA or midlaner Xiaohu. RNG didn’t play in Busan, but from home in Shanghai. There had been trouble before.
“Form is temporary – Faker is eternal” – A great play by Faker leaves the casters astounded:

“Blue team” wins every match – Draft extremely important
What was the outcome of the match? The series was a complete back-and-forth. The teams each won their matches clearly on the “blue” side: The “blue” team gets to choose their champions first, while the red team bans first.
In match 5, the Chinese ultimately secured a clear victory on the blue side in 25 minutes and won the series 3-2.
There was no real jubilation; the winners played “at home”:

RNG’s top-laner wins matches when Bin gets his Gwen
What was the decisive factor? In all 3 victories of his team, the 19-year-old top-laner Bin at RNG was allowed to play with the hero Gwen, and he achieved strong stats with her:
Game 1: 13-0-3
Game 3: 4-2-5
Game 5: 3-0-5
The “weakness Bin” decides the tournament
This is being discussed: On reddit, there is a general consensus that RNG’s superior draft phase decided the tournament.
T1 seemed somewhat clueless in the draft; they continually overlooked banning Gwen, giving Bin the opportunity to pick his favorite hero.
One user says: “I think T1 overthought everything. RNG just played the meta and didn’t try to pull off any crazy stuff – their consistency won them the title.”
Just the idea of T1 relying on a bot lane of Jhin/Yuumi in match 5 is criticized. It had nothing more to provide for T1 in match 5.
Another says: “Maybe T1 was too arrogant to consider that Gwen secures RNG’s weakest link. T1 only won the last game in the Rumble Stage because they exploited Bin’s weakness – did the analysts switch off their brains?”
In the eyes of many, Gwen was the decisive factor in the MSI 2022 finals.
In the last game of RNG’s Rumble Stage against T1, which T1 won, Bin played Gangplank with 1-4-6 and proved to be the Achilles’ heel of his team.
Clearly, users on reddit seem to believe that top-laner Bin would actually have been RNG’s weakness but felt so comfortable with the hero Gwen that he became the jewel of the team.
Ultimately, however, the MVP of the finals was the jungler of RNG, Wei, who also had excellent stats in his team’s victories: 2-3-3 (Viego), 8-0-7 (Viego), 2-1-11 (Lee Sin). Although there are also voices on Twitter who consider midlaner Xiaohu as the MVP of the finals.
The MSI tournament was played with patch 12.8, thus with a different state than on the live servers. Currently, the balance in LoL looks completely different again, but one champ remains a concern:
In FIFA 22 turn the TOTS cards the game upside down. Here you will find five players who are not too expensive but deliver performance.
What kind of list is this? The TOTS event in FIFA 22 brings a lot of strong cards into the game. Sprinters, dribblers, defensive players, playmakers – pretty much everything is included.
Unfortunately, many TOTS cards are extremely expensive. But this does not apply to all! There are indeed some inexpensive cards that can elevate your team to the next level.
This is what makes Antony special: As a Brazilian, Antony is already an exciting card because he fits well into “typical” teams without losing much chemistry. It doesn’t hurt that his league, the Eredivisie, is rather difficult to link.
In terms of stats, Antony is mainly for tricksters: The winger is incredibly fast and has nearly perfect dribbling stats. This is complemented by 5-star skills.
Shooting and passing also look good, with only defense being a drawback. Overall, however, a versatile, exciting attacking player.
Ibrahima Sangaré
Price: approximately 41,750
This is what makes Sangaré special: If you are already looking at Eredivisie cards like Antony, Sangaré is also a great option. The midfielder has nearly ideal stats to clear everything in midfield that wants to charge at your goal.
94 defense, 97 physicality, plus sub-stats like 98 stamina or 99 interceptions – that’s already impressive. Additionally, he has a very decent pace and usable shooting, passing, and dribbling stats.
Overall, Sangaré can greatly strengthen your midfield – if you can incorporate him into your team.
John McGinn
Price: approximately 43,000 coins
This is what makes McGinn special: McGinn is definitely already interesting for all players who enjoy funny dynamic images in their team – the glasses celebration never gets old.
Apart from that, McGinn has great stats for a versatile midfielder. You can practically place him in any position without experiencing a massive drop in performance.
However, he is perfectly suited for his natural position in central midfield, where he can serve both as a destroyer and an attacking motor.
Equip him with a Shadow style, and it will be hard to get past him. Additionally, as a Premier League player, he will be easy to link for many players.

FIFA 22: 10 helpful tips that will improve your gameplay
Jeremie Frimpong
Price: approximately 44,000 coins
This is what makes Frimpong special: Pace 99 should probably be the first thing mentioned, but high dribbling and good defensive as well as physical stats make Frimpong a well-rounded right-back.
His passing stats are also in the 80s range, with crossing and short passes even above 90. If you are looking for a right-back for forward movements who distributes the balls into the center, Frimpong is a good solution.
Only in terms of shooting stats does the Bundesliga player fall a bit short. Frimpong is not particularly goal-threatening. But: his job is to prevent goals. He is a great alternative, if you missed Da Costa.
This is what makes Canales special: The card of the Spaniard has just fallen below 50,000 and rarely appears on the fluctuating market – timing might be essential here. However, for 52,000, you can find him more often.
Apart from the price, other numbers are crucial – namely those on the card. And they are impressive: Pace, shooting, passing, and dribbling – all over 90. It’s hardly possible to be more versatile in attack.
And: If you give Sergio Canales an Anchor style, you will also boost his defense and physicality above 90. This makes him a true Swiss Army knife for your team, capable of fulfilling more or less any role.
He is best utilized in midfield and on the wings, where he can invigorate your offense.
Which cards do you currently have in your team? Can you use some TOTS cards – or is your team already fully packed? Let us know in the comments!
In MMORPGs like World of Warcraft, millions of players gather. Few manage to make a name for themselves, and even fewer become legends. One of these legends is Angwe, an Orc rogue who became the scourge of the Alliance in Vanilla.
Who is the player? Angwe is an Orc rogue who played during Vanilla WoW. By that, we mean not the new WoW Classic, but actually the original WoW, back in 2005.
Unlike the legendary warrior Kungen, Angwe made a name for himself as a particularly nasty player. He is regarded as one of the greatest villains in World of Warcraft, aside from story antagonists like Arthas and Kil’jaeden.
YouTube was not as big as it is today, and Twitch didn’t even exist in that form. Consequently, there is little evidence of Angwe’s misdeeds.
Nevertheless, conversations about the nasty rogue frequently arise in the community, reminiscing about the old days or even praising his achievements. But who exactly is Angwe, after all?
“I just liked being Freddy Krueger”
What is Angwe known for? Angwe was one of the best PvP players at the time. As he explains in an AMA on reddit, he was ranked 1 or 2 on the PvP leaderboard on his server Dethecus every week.
Back then, it was still about honorable kills. Honor was only given if you defeated players at the same level in the open world. The Swamp of Sorrows was particularly notorious for huge PvP battles and ganks at that time.
However, Angwe settled in the harbor of Menethil. There, he slaughtered numerous Alliance members, both those at level 60 and absolute noobs who just wanted to level up. As he himself says, he spent 8 to 10 hours a day doing it.
“I just liked being Freddy Krueger […] I loved scaring people, making them look over their shoulders with every step. I love being the boogeyman,” Angwe reveals in an interview with PC Gamer in 2017.
Why this was particularly nasty: The harbor of Menethil was at that time the only reasonable way for Alliance players to get from the Eastern Kingdoms to Kalimdor. There was also Booty Bay, but that ship went straight to Durotar, a Horde area.
Ships from Menethil headed to Darkshore. So, if an Alliance player wanted to travel back and forth, they had to go through there. Particularly nasty: the harbor of Menethil is in an area for players level 20-30. There was always enough food for Angwe’s blades here.
Angwe often waited at the docks and slaughtered players who just wanted to get on the ship. At times, he even traveled a bit with them, killed people on the ship, and then swam back.
It got to the point where Alliance players feared going on the ships at all. They waited near the guards and only sprinted off when the boat arrived, hoping not to become Angwe’s target.
Angwe even founded his own guild called “Servants of Angwe.” Alliance players in this guild admitted to being cowards, but at least they were protected from the nasty Orc and were not his target.
The “Servants of Angwe” were safe from the Orc. Image source: PC Gamer.
“You live in your mother’s basement”
These were the reactions: Angwe created an Alliance character on a second account. On PvP servers, it was not possible to play both factions at that time. He used his character “Angwespy” to observe how his victims complained about him.
The best statements were preserved by the rogue as screenshots and uploaded them to a dedicated website. The original no longer exists, but some fan pages still showcase the chat messages and forum posts. Highlights include statements like:
“Angwe is a mythical creature. Like Bigfoot. He’s hard to find. But when you do, you wish you were never born.”
“I hate you so much, Angwe. You’re a damn nerd and have absolutely no life. Man, you probably live in your mother’s basement.”
“Can’t we make some sort of agreement for you to stop killing me? Gold? Armor? XP? Anything?”
At least one guild even posted an “Anti-Angwe-Guide” in their own forum, intended to help players avoid the Orc. Angwe sneaked into the guild and trolled them from the inside out.
At the time, WoW had many more problems. See here the 5 funniest bugs in WoW’s history:

How did it end? This very Anti-Angwe guild is said to have gathered and waited for him. When he logged in one time, a true army awaited him, according to PC Gamer. He allegedly managed to take a few Alliance players to the grave before he was finally defeated. His last battle.
Shortly thereafter, Blizzard introduced battlegrounds with Patch 1.5. PvP enthusiasts could plan fights in instantiated areas, and open-world PvP became less relevant. Honor was earned in the battlegrounds.
Since players had to travel to the battlegrounds back then and could not simply teleport in, the mass of PvP players shifted toward Ashenvale and Alterac, away from Menethil.
Angwe was no longer the terror of the Alliance. He himself says that he realized that his way of playing was a waste of his life. Menethil and the Alliance were safe again.
The rogue explains that his drive came from Everquest, an older MMORPG. The tone there was much harsher, and what he did in WoW was nothing compared to the PvP in Everquest.
In the podcast with the developer of the largest German MMORPG, we talk exactly about what it’s like to be a bad player. Listen on Spotify or iTunes or tune in directly here:
WoW players were not used to such assassins, and they are still not today. Griefers are more often reported and avoided; it’s more about teamwork than annoying others. Blizzard itself even wants to promote a good atmosphere with a “social contract” and other ideas.
The days of players like Angwe are presumably numbered. This alone is due to the fact that most players today understand WoW and similar games much better. If someone were to stand somewhere, they would have someone sticking to them who is even better in no time.
We were all noobs back then, and Angwe was just a bit better. He himself says that today he would be properly owned. We have all gotten a lot better:
The MMORPG New World (Steam) received a new update on May 26: Arenas are new to the game. The update generates a boost in Steam reviews, but player counts in May 2022 are now at a weak level.
This is the highlight of the new patch: On May 26, a fresh patch went live in New World, the “Arenas Update”.
The highlight of the patch is new 3vs3 arenas, a “Small Scale” PvP mode in a game that once attracted players with massive battles. The gimmick of the arena: a fire ring pushes players to the center of the arena. Either you fight or you die.
The patch also brought a “PVP reward series” and “New expedition mutators” to New World, along with “Varangian Knights – Episode 2”, which introduced new enemies for players in the 25-30 range.
A much-discussed small feature of the patch was that the selected pronouns of players now appear in the chat. The “preferred pronoun” is taken into account when someone uses an emote in the game, according to the patch notes, which you can read here in German (via New World).

How does this affect Steam reviews? There is a slight uptick in Steam reviews to notice:
On May 26, the day of the patch, there were 53 positive reviews, which is much more than on any other day in May. There were 19 negative reviews.
May 26 stands out positively – overall, the reviews of the last 30 days are only mediocre.
The reviews from May 26, if only this day were considered, would result in 73% positive reviews.
A significant boost compared to the 60% positive reviews that New World has collected over the last 30 days.
New World is losing more and more players on Steam – Unable to stop the bleeding
What does it look like for player numbers? It looks really bleak. New World still cannot really recover (via steamcharts).
New World simply cannot find a stable base.
They are now averaging 16,750 players. The player loss experienced since release still cannot be effectively stopped.
Also, the update on May 26 does not bring any noticeable upswing. The player numbers on May 25 and May 26 do not differ practically. The peak remains around 21,500 concurrent players.
New World today is far from the peak values at release.
Only in April could the player counts be kept “somewhat” stable compared to March, but since then it has fallen by 5,000 from 21,000.
The MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV has introduced a small change with the new patch: The AFK timer is gone. It kicked players out of the game since the summer of 2021 when they were inactive for too long. With this, Square Enix aimed to manage the influx of players during the hype of 2021. Now some players are cheering and explaining why they no longer log out.
This is the small change in the patch: It is a patch note in the “System” area that some players are now happy about: Players will no longer be automatically logged out after 30 minutes of inactivity.
This applies to all zones, it says.
A snippet from the patch notes of 6.11a.
For 10 months, Final Fantasy XIV forcibly removed players from the MMORPG
This is the special aspect: This state of “It’s okay to be AFK and dance” is the natural state of Final Fantasy XIV. The game has actually always been like this.
But the enormous success of Final Fantasy XIV in 2021 led to the sudden introduction of an AFK timer last July. This was intended to reduce server load, as due to the weakness of WoW and the enthusiasm of some Twitch streamers for Final Fantasy XIV, the MMORPG suddenly experienced a boom, even months before “Endwalker” was released.
When Endwalker finally arrived, the servers became increasingly full. Now the hype has somewhat subsided, and 10 months after its introduction, the AFK timer can disappear again.
The AFK timer was supposed to make room on the servers and help ensure that people who are actually at their PCs or PlayStations can play, rather than having their spots blocked by players who are just standing around AFK.

Everything you need to know about the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV – in 2 minutes
AFK players somehow enrich and beautify the world of Final Fantasy XIV
Why is this so special? Normally almost all MMORPGs have an AFK timer, but Final Fantasy XIV intentionally does not have this timer. This results in people just standing around or dancing in many places in the world. They show their characters to the world. Many in Final Fantasy XIV consider “fashion” very important: How your character looks and how they appear to others.
Some players perceive these “AFK figures” as something “special” because the MMORPG looks livelier and fuller:
One user says: “When I started with Final Fantasy XIV, there was a guy who stood on the street in Black Shroud for an entire week. I was completely stunned. Today I practically never log out anymore, just like that, so now I understand him.”
Another user says: “Before Endwalker, there was always a guy who stood on the steps of Aetherite in Ul’Dah and danced. I called him the Meth-Pope because he wore such colorful clothes. The first time in months I saw him again this morning.”
A third says: “I’ve only been playing since September. I thought it had always been like this, as it has been recently. I feel so silly right now.”
Others are really surprised that the AFK timer was only in the game for 10 months. It felt like an eternity.
This is what it’s about: The example of the AFK timer shows how often little things can make a world in an MMORPG special.
The need to be “part of the world” is apparently great. Even when not playing, people want to show and represent their character.
Although there are also good reasons to turn off the computer:
In League of Legends, Patch 12.10 completely changed the balance. One champion is particularly affected: Ryze has the lowest win rate in League of Legends by far. Ryze is the worst champ in LoL: The mage is 3.5% worse off than the other “loser champions” in the MOBA.
How bad is Ryze doing right now? Really bad. According to the statistics site U.gg, Ryze has a win rate of 41.21% in matches above the Platinum rank since 12.10 (via u.gg).
He only has a “positive” record against 4 other champs in the mid lane: against Corki, Annie, Gangplank, and Talon. Players with Ryze won slightly more often than they lost against these champions. However, against champs like Malzahar, Fizz, or Lux, they lost 2 out of 3 games in the mid lane or more.
With a win rate of 41.21%, Ryze is far behind in last place. Below 45%, there are only two other champs: ADC Aphelios and the jungler Lee Sin.

It was concluded there that Ryze is a mix of “burst mage” and “DPS mage,” but doesn’t quite fulfill either role properly from a fundamental standpoint. He needs to get close to the opponent to take them down with a “machine-gun-like spam” of abilities. Additionally, his power scales with his mana.
Why does the new patch make Ryze even worse? With the new patch, Ryze should now be able to eliminate “squishy” targets with his abilities within seconds. However, if he sets himself up this way, he becomes an extremely squishy target with no survivability.
If he tries to make himself “tankier,” he can barely deal damage that helps his team.
In SoloQ, he really becomes a weak point, while in professional fights, he can at least prepare flanks or strategic attacks on objectives with his ultimate, believes the US site dotesports.
He is doing fine right now: Singed.
The strongest champions in LoL are not exactly the most popular
Who is the strongest champion in LoL right now? The counterpart to Ryze right now is Singed with a win rate of 56.61%. He is just under 2% ahead of the other “very strong champions” Zilean and Tahm Kench, both of whom are just below a 55% win rate.
These are all champions that are already considered very “tanky,” but can mainly make an impact with utility abilities. However, these 3 champions are played relatively rarely. Singed, Tahm Kench, and Zilean have appeared in about 4,000 to 6,600 games so far.
The most popular champs in LoL right now are the typical “fun-champs” of SoloQ, Kai’Sa and Ezreal, both of whom look balanced with a win rate of around 49.4%. Both have been seen in about 120,000 games above Platinum with patch 12.10.
It will be interesting to see where Bel’Veth ranks on the list:
