Fault: Elder Orb – Free to Play Launch Trailer
This is Fault: Elder Orb
How does Fault: Elder Orb play? MOBA stands for Multiplayer Online Battle Arena. In Fault: Elder Orb, 2 teams of 5 players each compete against each other in a match within a defined combat area.
Each team has a base at the beginning of a match. Between the opposing camps, there are three paths and neutral areas. The main mission of a match is to destroy the opponents’ base.
The first team to destroy the opponents’ base, known as the Core, wins the match.
What heroes are there in Fault: Elder Orb? There are currently a total of 24 heroes. However, more heroes are expected to be added over time.
Players can unlock all heroes for free during the course of the game. No in-game purchases are required for this.
Various heroes are available for battle
How does the player get stronger? During matches, gold can be collected, which the player can use to buy items to improve their hero.
There will also be a “Feasts” system: This will make the player stronger when certain goals are achieved during a match.
What are Aspects? In the context of leveling up, the so-called Aspects play a role. These are passive effects that can be selected at the beginning of the match.
They make a hero stronger. Up to 2 out of a total of 15 aspects can be selected. They can be crucial in determining whether a battle is won or lost and support your personal playstyle.
What reminded us of Destiny in the Fault: Elder Orb trailer? The trailer showed a few elements reminiscent of Destiny. The abilities of the heroes in the trailer partially resembled those of the characters in Destiny: such as the Titan Bubble, the Striker Ultimate, and the Warlock Nova Bomb.
Furthermore, the setting is somewhat reminiscent of the decayed areas of Earth mixed with the remnants of the Dreaming City.
What do you think about Fault: Elder Orb? Feel free to let us know in the comments.
It is no secret that YouTube is currently snatching the cherries from Twitch’s cake with tasty deals. More and more major streamers are switching from the purple platform to the red one, often mentioning large businesses. Now Imane “Pokimane” Anys has also hinted that she might not be able to resist such an offer.
Who is Pokimane?
The streamer ranks 9th worldwide on Twitch with 9.2 million followers. This puts her ahead of star streamers like sodapoppin, tommyinnit, or fellow Amouranth.
Pokimane is considered one of the icons on Twitch and is one of the most important streamers on the platform. Although she sometimes draws attention with her special opinions and does not shy away from direct statements, she is generally seen as a friendly and nice person.
Recently, the 25-year-old spoke about Myth’s departure and mentioned that she wouldn’t be averse to a YouTube deal.
You can see the first successful streamers from Twitch in our video:

Twitch: Who were actually the first successful streamers?
“Streaming Lifestyle” as a Possible Reason for Switching
What hint did Pokimane make? When viewers asked Pokimane what she thought about Myth’s switch, she said that although she was surprised by the decision, she also somehow expected it at the same time. She couldn’t explain it properly either.
Furthermore, the streamer stated:
He wasn’t always one of the first people I expected to go to YouTube. (…) I think he enjoyed streaming less and less, or maybe just the streaming lifestyle less and less. I mean, I do too, so I think it made sense for him to accept such a deal.
YouTube apparently chooses very carefully which streamers they make offers to. They seem to be particularly interested in big stars who usually act nice and/or family-friendly. Those who have a good reputation or have recognition value. It is therefore quite likely that they might approach Pokimane in the future.
Wuthering Waves will be the new anime RPG from the Chinese studio Kuro Game. It aims to offer a high degree of freedom in an open world. The visuals and some mechanics are reminiscent of Genshin Impact, but the atmosphere promises to be darker.
What is the game about? In Wuthering Waves, you play as a “Rover” (English: Wanderer) in a post-apocalyptic world. You can explore this vast open world at your leisure, uncover secrets, and face numerous enemies in action-packed battles.
You awaken as a “Rover” a hundred years after a catastrophe known as “Calament” in a new world. Since this event, previously unknown creatures have spread and are causing destruction.
To explore this world, you can climb buildings and walls, swing with a grappling hook, and glide through the air.
The developer is known for extensive stories.
Yes, it will be a gacha game.
The battles will focus on speed and action. Turn-based combat, tab-targeting, or target-selection are not to be found here.
Compared to genre representatives like Genshin Impact and The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, the atmosphere appears significantly darker and more melancholic.
So far, there is gameplay footage from PC and mobile devices. Whether a console version will come is unclear. This trailer gives you a first glimpse of the game:

Wuthering Waves shows massive action in the gameplay trailer
This is the current state of affairs after the technical test
This shows the gameplay: After the technical test, there are first impressions of the gameplay. In the footage released by YouTuber Steparu, fast-paced battles with numerous effects can be seen.
While the gameplay trailer mainly showcased fast-paced sword fights, the player is accompanied by a floating creature that seems responsible for a large part of the attacks. Additionally, there are elemental attacks.
Movement occurs similarly to what is known from games like Genshin Impact or Breath of The Wild: You can explore the world on foot, swing through the area with a grappling hook, or soar through the air with a glider.

This is what we still know: There will likely not be a character creator. Instead, you can choose between a male and a female character. The latter particularly impresses with her design: unlike many characters in comparable titles, she does not appear overly sexualized or too childish.
With a gacha game in an open world with anime aesthetics, the comparison to Genshin Impact is, of course, obvious. And indeed, some of the footage could also show a new area in Genshin. Some of the puzzles shown during the technical test also bear a certain resemblance.
The post-apocalyptic setting and the more subdued colors paired with the atmospheric music in the CG trailer suggest a significantly darker and perhaps slightly more mature atmosphere. Some commentators even see a resemblance to Death Stranding.
Screenshot from the gameplay and the CG trailer.
When can we expect the game?
A date is not yet known. Given the state of development, however, a release before 2023 is unlikely. It is also not known whether the release will be global or only in China at first. However, given the existence of an English-language trailer and YouTube channel, there is hope for a simultaneous release. A release in the West is planned.
The pre-registration is already underway, but initially only for Android and iOS (via TapTap).
The technical test has received numerous reactions from the community. It becomes especially clear that they do not want a pure Genshin clone and that Wuthering Waves should develop its own identity (via reddit).
Fans of Punishing: Gray Raven in particular are looking forward to fast, action-packed fights with challenging bosses. They therefore wish for a revision or abolition of the skill cooldown system, as it could hold players back.
The desire frequently arises to integrate the grappling hook more actively into the fights instead of just using it to drop onto enemies. There would also be the possibility to stand out from the competition with interesting aerial battles.
As the game is still actively being developed, it can be expected that much will be improved and possibly even restructured before the release. Let’s see what changes occur before beta.
If you haven’t touched Genshin Impact for a while, it’s definitely time to return:
Everyone building a gaming PC needs thermal paste. Now a TikToker has mixed diamond dust into the paste.
Anyone assembling a gaming PC needs thermal paste. It goes between the processor and the CPU cooler and is meant to minimize the imperfections of the processor.
These microscopic imperfections between the two touching metal surfaces are not visible to you at all. The thermal paste fills these in and prevents air from settling in these areas. Thermal paste ensures that the “brain” of your computer stays cool under load.
A TikToker has now mixed diamond dust into his thermal paste and applied it to his processor. Whether that really works, we explain in our article.
Can thermal paste with diamond dust really cool?
Who has tried this? Mryeester, also known as Adam Yee, is a TikToker with around 1 million followers on TikTok. On his channel, he tests various computer hardware and is especially active in the DIY area.
What exactly is he doing? In his nearly 40-second-long video, he mixed regular thermal paste with diamond dust. Then he applied the mixed paste to his processor (via tiktok.com).
In the next step, he tested the temperatures because he wanted to find out which cools better: the regular thermal paste from the electronics store or his mixture with diamond dust. In the video, he briefly presents the results:
The temperatures with regular thermal paste are at 49 degrees Celsius.
With diamond paste, the temperatures are at 46 degrees Celsius.
In total, he can save 3 degrees with this method on an open motherboard. He has not tested how the diamond paste affects his processor when he installs the motherboard in a case.
Thermal paste with diamond additive is also offered by manufacturers
Can this really work? The tech blogger “InventGeek” also conducted the experiment with diamond dust a few years ago (via intentgeek.com). In his test, he used diamond powder with 18 carats and applied the mixture to the processor as well. In his experiment, the temperatures dropped even more:
With a silver mixture, the temperatures are at 42 degrees or 57 degrees under load.
With his diamond mixture, the temperatures are at 29 degrees or 38 degrees under load.
In his article, however, he also explains that the temperatures can vary greatly depending on how the consistency of the thermal paste is and how he applies it.
Why does this work? Regular thermal paste often consists of a mixture of silver and silicone grease. Silver has a thermal conductivity of 429 W/m K.
W/m K indicates the amount of heat in watts per hour or J/s transmitted through 1m² of a 1 meter thick material, with a temperature difference of one Kelvin.
However, the conductivity of diamond is much higher than that of silver. Because the thermal conductivity of diamond is between 900 and 2320 W/m K. At best, you then have five times the performance of silver.
Can you buy something like this? By now, some manufacturers also offer a combination of thermal paste and diamond dust. Manufacturers like Innovation Cooling use synthetic diamonds in their mixture. No real diamonds are processed into dust.
However, the prices are steep. While you might pay 4 euros for completely normal thermal paste, the prices for diamond dust paste are at 25 euros or more.
For people who care about every degree Celsius, this is certainly exciting and worth the extra cost. For most other people, the additional cost may not be justifiable.
Things are just not going well for Team SoloMid (TSM). After the former League of Legends champions ended up in 9th place in the Spring Split, top laner Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon is now out due to injury.
This is the situation:
Top lane star Huni celebrated his biggest success with SKT1
Since 2021, he has been with TSM but the Spring Split 2022 was disappointing
The Summer Split started poorly with a 2 – 5 record
Now Huni has surprisingly announced his retirement due to a wrist injury
TSM is reacting by rebuilding the entire team
They are especially focusing on newcomers
Huni steps down from the LCS roster
Who is it about? Top lane star Huni began his official career in 2015 with Fnatic, with whom he reached the Top 4 at Worlds. In 2017, he achieved his biggest success so far. With SKT1, the team of superstar Faker, he reached the runner-up title and narrowly lost to Samsung Galaxy.
Since 2021, he has been part of Team SoloMid.
He is known for his aggressive style and sometimes unusual champion and spell choices. At the age of 22, he was also the first player to participate in Worlds for three different regions: Europe, Korea, and North America.
Due to recurring wrist injuries, the 24-year-old has to end his active career now. TSM thanked Huni for the memories and announced that he would remain part of Team SoloMid while he considers his future. They also want to support him, whatever path he chooses.

The rookies are set to take charge: The gap left by Huni is hard to fill. His place will be taken by top laner Alex “Soul” Luo from the TSM Academy, but he isn’t the only promotee to the main roster.
While they are at it, TSM probably thought they might as well rearrange the whole team. In addition to the change in the top lane, the position of Attack Damage Carry will also be newly filled. Instead of Edward “Tactical” Ra, Tony “Instinct” Ng will soon be distributing damage for TSM.
As support, Jonathan “Chime” Pomponio from the Golden Guardians Academy is expected to join in the black-and-white jersey.
Such changes during the LCS are usually quite unusual. Whether the newcomers can still save the rather weak season remains to be seen.

In Destiny 2 exists a special form of your armors. The “Artful Armor”. With it, you normally have a special advantage over any normal armors. However, a bug, referred to by Bungie as the “Indiana Jones” bug, makes these armors almost useless at the moment. We will show you what is going on.
With it, you can equip more additional bonuses from your artifact that can enhance your build even further. However, for weeks, Guardians have been reporting problems with their high-end armor. Sometimes no further mods can be equipped, and the field of the additional slot simply disappears out of nowhere.
Bungie explicitly titles this bug as the “Indiana Jones” bug, and there is a reason for that.
Indiana Jones bug causes problems
Who is affected? This bug has circulated since the beginning of Season 17. Players complained that they were missing a mod slot for the artful armor.
Bungie addressed the bug in the last patch 4.1.0.2, but it was only half fixed. Guardians who had logged in during the dilemma in Season 17 still possessed the bug.
What is the problem? Bungie has now elaborated on why the bug is still present and cannot be so easily fixed.
The artful armor has 5 mod slotsThe normal armor has 4 mod slotsHere we show you the difference between two types of armors
When the development team starts a new season, aspects in the game are shifted, improved, or completely removed. This also applies to the old and new artifact mods. When the team looked at the armor from the “Sog der Habsucht” dungeon, they noticed that the artful armor mod slot suddenly disappeared.
This happens because when a new season starts, the artifact mods are removed, and the system tries to “repair” the armor. Therefore, the mod slot is hidden and no longer visible.
Ryan Hammond from Bungie describes this error as follows: “It’s like if Indiana Jones exchanged the golden idol for the sandbag.” Hence the name “Indiana Jones” bug.
“If you deviate even a little bit, everything can collapse. In this case, some of the sandbags we used were not quite right,” Bungie explained the hesitant fix of this issue.
When will the bug be fixed? Bungie dates the fix for the next patch. It is unknown when this will come, but it would be conceivable next week, on July 19, or only at the start of Season 18 on August 23. The new fix will then contain a script that scans your in-game data and repairs the errors of the broken armors.
So no worries, because your armors are not irreparably broken. They will soon return to their former glory so you can use them in the game as intended.
Were you worried that your hard-earned armor was broken forever, or did you know that Bungie would address the issue? Let us know in the comments.

In Pokémon GO there are regularly big events that players can participate in. The GO Fest is one of them and takes players around the world. This also applies to the GO Fest in Sapporo. But you can’t enter Japan at all. MeinMMO shows you the current regulations.
What is the background? From August 5th to 7th, the GO Fest takes place in Sapporo, Japan, and Niantic is already busy selling tickets worldwide. However, as Reddit user Rorywan points out in a post on the social network, you currently cannot enter Japan (via reddit.com).
Why can’t you enter? The regulations for entry may still differ currently due to measures to contain Covid-19, as stated by the Federal Foreign Office on its website (via auswaertiges-amt.de). This is still the case at this time (as of July 14, 2022).
What do the current regulations look like? Below, we list the current entry regulations for Japan in case you are currently planning a trip to Japan.
The general entry ban for travelers from Germany was lifted on April 8, 2022
Foreign nationals can enter with a visa for business trips, study stays, and medium- and long-term stays
Since June 10, 2022, visas for short-term tourist stays can also be issued again
But: A prerequisite for a tourist stay in Japan is that it is arranged through a travel agency based in Japan. The travel agency must also be registered with the Japanese authorities
What does this mean for your entry? As the Japanese embassy (via de.emb-japan.go.jp) states clearly again, a visa can only be applied for if the travel agency based in Japan guarantees for you and additionally registers with the Japanese Ministry of Health.
Furthermore, the Japanese embassy states that currently no individual tourism is possible. You can currently only apply for a group trip.
The group trip must also be organized by a travel agency based in Japan and be continuously supervised locally. A locally based tour guide must accompany the group trip.
Likewise, in a group trip, there are no individually planable days.
You cannot travel to Japan alone or without a group and spend your individual vacation there, even if a travel agency based in Japan guarantees for you.
What do you think about the situation? Would a group trip without individual planning be an option for you, or does a trip to Japan fall through for you under the current regulations? Feel free to let us know here on MeinMMO in the comments!

Twitch permanently banned DariusIRL from their platform. Why? Because he played a three-minute meme that supposedly presented sexually suggestive content. He found that quite unfair in relation to other streamers.
Who is the streamer?
DariusIRL is a relatively small Twitch streamer with 4,400 followers and 93 average viewers. His main content consists of Just Chatting.
Just 2 days prior, he had already been permanently banned for using the N-word while singing along to a song. He already reached out to the public there, stating that the ban was absurd since he himself is partially black.
After his tweet gained some traction, he was unbanned by Twitch.
Now he hopes for “justice” again and expressed his displeasure on Twitter.

Twitch streamer complains: Others do half-naked yoga
What annoys the streamer so much? After he was banned, he wrote a tweet in which he presented the reason for his ban and compared it with other streams that showcased similar suggestive content.
He wrote: ‘Streamers have their own cameras for their butts when they do yoga. But I played a three-minute meme video where 5 men did a damn meme dance and I get permanently banned for it. These algorithmic bans are so ridiculous, please look for solutions.’
The streamer assumed that the ban was not carried out by an employee or due to reports, but was executed automatically by the platform because the program apparently recognized sexually explicit content.
What was that meme video like? The video dates back to 2007 and features 5 men dancing around while making sexual innuendos towards a stool and a door (via YouTube). You can therefore form your own opinion on whether the ban was justified or not.
Guild Wars 2 is set to launch on Steam in 2022. The developers revealed this at the beginning of the year. Since then, there have been continuous updates aimed primarily at improving the onboarding process and resolving the chaos surrounding currencies and story gaps. The upcoming update on July 19 also targets improvements for newcomers.
What does the patch on July 19 bring? Primarily general improvements:
The four world bosses from the starting areas will be revamped and are expected to leave a strong, lasting impression. These include: the Great Jungle Wurm, the Shadow Behemoth, the Svanir Shaman Chief, and the Fire Elemental. They will receive toughness adjustments, updated abilities and health points, as well as better models and textures.
The currencies in raids will be reduced. There will now only be Magnetite Shards and Legendary Insights. The additional rewards for later raids will be converted into these. Moreover, adjusted rewards will be implemented for the challenge modes in the raids.
The instabilities in fractals will be revised to prevent frustrating extremes.
Additionally, the update brings back an old episode of Living World Season 1. This time, it revolves around Queen Jennah’s anniversary celebration.
Guild Wars 2: Everything you need to know about the new expansion End of Dragons in under 3 minutes
Guild Wars 2 will be better for newcomers for the Steam release
What are the developers currently doing for the Steam release? As mentioned above, almost all adjustments are currently focused on making onboarding easier or removing confusing elements from the game:
What’s next for the summer? For the summer, plans include the release of another episode of Living World Season 1 and adjustments to gameplay systems. Here, the focus is mainly on World vs. World, which is set to be completely overhauled and restructured.
You can see the complete roadmap here:
Steam release could cause a small boom
Is it worth making so many adjustments for the Steam release? Very likely. SWTOR launched on Steam at the end of 2020. Although there wasn’t a major update, over 34,000 players were simultaneously checking out the MMORPG at peak times (via SteamDB). At one point, it was even the MMORPG with the most players and remains to this day the MMORPG with the best rating on Steam.
So there was a bit of hype around SWTOR, and the developers of Guild Wars 2 are likely hoping for something similar. Their game is even a bit friendlier to free-to-play players than SWTOR.
When is GW2 releasing on Steam? This is not known. Officially, it is only stated that the release will take place sometime in 2022.
What do you think about the latest changes to Guild Wars 2? Would you check out the MMORPG on Steam, or are you already playing it without the Steam release?
Along with the Steam release, the developers have also announced the fourth expansion:
The Korean version of Lost Ark has more classes to choose from than is the case in the West. Now, the MMORPG has confirmed that the next new class will come to us in September. However, possibly without a power pass. We at MeinMMO summarize.
What was announced? The community manager Roxx officially announced in the Lost Ark forum that the next class for the MMORPG will come to the West in September. She confirmed this again in a comment.
Lost Ark had already revealed that a new class is planned every two months, but having certainty about it seems to reassure the community. Although we do not yet know which class it is, Roxx caused confusion with another statement in the same post.
It was mentioned that Amazon does not plan to integrate a power pass into the game for every new class. This surprises some fans, as with the lancer and the arcanist, two new, time-limited passes came into the game.
But it will still take a while before the new aeromancer appears for us:
Start video
Lost Ark Aeromancer Gameplay
What is a power pass? The passes are a mechanic that provides you with a sort of starter help for alternate characters. If you have had a character with a gear score of 1,302 before, you can use the latest power pass to immediately bring a second character up to the same item level.
“Why do they make new classes as painful as possible on purpose?”
How does the community react? The community is very divided. Currently, fans are discussing whether a power pass is needed for every class or if it is too much to expect that at all.
One side says it becomes unfair. Other people should not decide which class gets a power pass and which does not. This disadvantages players who are specifically looking forward to a class and might miss out.
Moreover, fans say it is unacceptable that the passes expire after an event period. The argument here is that at least they could hold onto their pass until the class comes that they want. However, that is not the case.
The other side does not see Amazon as having any obligation. For some fans, it is clear that the passes are a gift that saves a lot of time. People should be grateful that there are power passes at all and say that many MMORPGs would charge money for the same service.
What do the fans say? We would like to share some of the comments with you. This way, you can get a picture of the mood in the community. They all come from a related reddit thread or the forum for Lost Ark.
Lughs_Revenge writes: “It’s not so bad that there isn’t a power pass with every class. However, it would be wiser not to make the existing passes time-limited. Most people would then keep it until the class they want comes out. It could also work with some sort of voucher.”
Kakul-Saydon says: “It can’t be that you are upset about it and interpret it in 1,000 different ways. You have information, and instead of being happy, you are upset.”
Mona07 writes: “Why do they make new classes as painful as possible on purpose? It is understandable that they don’t want to release a new pass every month, but if we only get a new class every 2 months, that is just unfair.”
AerooFox says: “If we can’t hold onto a power pass and don’t get a new one for the next class, that is just the dumbest thing AGS has done so far.”
What do you think about this? Do you need a power pass with every class? Or are you satisfied with how it is? Feel free to let us know in the comments here at MeinMMO.
A detail from Dragonflight has been leaked and is causing excitement. It seems that the inventory of characters in World of Warcraft will increase.
Some initial screenshots, apparently from an early alpha version of Dragonflight, are currently circulating in the forums and on the World of Warcraft subreddit. While many are excited that the beta may begin soon, others have discovered another detail: The inventory will likely be larger in Dragonflight.
What was discovered? Screenshots that allegedly come from an early internal test of Dragonflight reveal a small detail that is causing a stir. The screenshots show that characters will not only have 4 slots for bags, but 5 – one more than before.
This would mean that characters in Dragonflight can carry 5 additional bags alongside the normal backpack, adding around 30 inventory slots. This should please nearly all players who have struggled with full bags until now.

Bottom right – a 5th slot for bags, currently unfilled.
Has inventory been a problem so far? That seems to be a clear case of “it depends on who you ask.” For many players, the current inventory is completely sufficient. However, for those who like to carry many toy-like items, lots of buff food, or even different armor sets for multiple roles, they often reach the limits of the inventory.
It’s also not helpful that newer areas in WoW clutter the inventory with items that are later exchanged for currencies. Players often run around with dozens of Anima tokens or Korthia research – in addition to the usual loot that enemies drop.
More about WoW and Dragonflight can be found here on MeinMMO:
Please note that this is only information from allegedly leaked screenshots. Whether the inventory will actually be expanded by one bag slot can probably only be confirmed with more reliable information from alpha or beta testing.
Would you be happy about a larger inventory? Or have you never had too little space in your bags and don’t need it?

Many players have been waiting for this and now it has arrived: Kazuha Kaedehara is back in Genshin Impact. He is considered the best character in the game – so it really pays off to spend your Primogems wisely. MeinMMO reports on the hero and what makes him so special.
Why is he the best? The 5-star character Kazuha Kaedehara not only brings extremely useful skills, but also fits comfortably into any of your teams. Before he appeared in Genshin Impact, Venti was long considered the most useful figure, but he has been surpassed by Kazuha.
Especially in the endgame dungeon, the Spiral Abyss, the Anemo user excels. Based on evaluations from nearly 6,000 players in the hardest levels of the dungeon, Kazuha is currently the most used character with a usage rate of 95.7% (via spiralabyss.org).
Additionally, he can function both as support in your team and as a damage dealer. The latter only comes into play if you gather constellations for him. So, if you already own Kazuha, it might still be worth pulling on his banner.

He can take on all three roles (main DPS, sub DPS, and support) in a team and fits as a mobile Anemo unit into any group composition.
Especially if you haven’t unlocked constellations for Kazuha, he is best suited as support and/or sub DPS. With his special ability, he creates a field that continuously inflicts damage on enemies and creates swirls.
If you additionally equip him with the artifact set “Green Shadow” and unlock his passive talent “Poetics of Fuubutsu,” he becomes an even better support. Kazuha weakens the enemies’ resistance to the element he previously swirled by 40% with the artifact set. This allows the other characters in your team to deal even more damage when they use that specific element.
Furthermore, his talent allows him to increase the elemental damage of his teammates who are within the field of his special ability. The increase in elemental damage is based on his elemental mastery points. The more elemental mastery Kazuha has, the more he strengthens his team.
Additionally, his elemental skill groups enemy mobs together, deals damage to them, and makes it easier for him and his teammates to hit all enemies at once. This is incredibly useful in the Spiral Abyss, where opponents tend to be scattered and every second counts.
How can he become even more useful? If you are among the lucky ones who can pull Kazuha’s constellations, he will become even stronger. The 1st and 2nd constellations significantly enhance his damage and support capabilities, enabling him to become the main DPS of the team.
When can you get him? Kazuha will be available from today, July 13th, until August 2nd at 6:59 PM. You have 3 weeks to get him from the banner.
If you still have Primogems left and are not hoarding for the new Sumeru characters, definitely go for Kazuha. Or have you already done that? Some MeinMMO readers have already reported in past comments about pulling on his banner as soon as he is released.
Once you have finally reached level 100 in Hunt: Showdown after countless deaths and a lot of sweat and blood, you can give everything up, click on Prestige and start all over again. But what does that actually bring? We at MeinMMO explain the mechanics.
What is Prestige? In Hunt: Showdown, you level up a bloodline regardless of your individual hunters. You start at level 1 and can level up to 100. During these level-ups, you unlock numerous new weapons, items, and tools that make life in the Bayou a little easier.
You also unlock new abilities through the bloodline level. For example, your character can revive allied players from a distance with the trait Necromancer starting from level 69 or even double their received healing with Doctor starting from level 73. So there are plenty of useful things waiting for you once you reach level 100.
Once you reach level 100, you can then go Prestige. When you do this, a red one appears next to your name, signaling that you are in Prestige 1. There are actually a total of 100 levels here as well. However, you start again at bloodline level 1 and have to unlock everything again. Both weapon attachments and the weapons themselves, as well as traits and more. Essentially, you are starting completely from scratch.
You can read your current prestige on the red number in the upper left corner.
What does it bring? With each of the 100 Prestiges, you can choose one of three bonuses that can make the next 100 levels a bit more pleasant for you. Prestige gives you the following options:
2,000 Hunt Dollars immediately at level 1
10% more experience (for both hunters and the bloodline)
A random real money skin that you do not yet own, as a permanent unlock
An exception to this are certain Prestiges that include predetermined exclusive rewards in the form of skins. These are given at the prestige levels of 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100.
The effects do not scale with each other. You lose the bonus from the previous prestige in each prestige. So if you choose 10% experience in Prestige 1 and again in Prestige 2, you do not have 20% more, but still just 10.
You can also only choose the random skins from Prestige 1 to 10; after that, you only get the opportunity every 10 prestige levels. By the way, you cannot unlock skins from DLCs or events with this.

Is it worth it? Yes, at least once
What reward should you choose? Whether you want skins or not, we leave out in this evaluation. If it is important to you to have the nice weapons and you do not want to spend real money for it, you can always choose the random skin.
But between the 2,000 extra dollars and the 10% more experience, it quickly gets tricky, what should you choose? Our expert tip is to always take the 10% experience, because the money is redundant. Especially since, after you have gone Prestige, you do not start with 0, but with 4,000 dollars. So you are not completely broke.
Moreover, the 10% experience brings you much more in two scenarios than that little bit of money.
If you want to get through the Prestiges as quickly as possible and into the next one, you can achieve that faster with more experience.
But even if you are tired of Prestige afterwards, the 10% experience is still worth it. If you remain permanently in this prestige, you will never lose this bonus. That means all your hunters will always receive 10% more experience, and thus potentially more skill points.
You should always choose experience, according to our expert tip.
Experience is money: And even more importantly, if you stay in the same prestige, the bonus experience earns you even more money than 2,000 dollars. Once you reach bloodline level 100, the game gives you 200 dollars for every 5,000 bloodline experience. In the end, you actually get more money from experience than from cash.
Therefore, our tip is to always choose experience. Even if you only do one prestige and then realize that you have no desire to level up to 100 again, this decision gives you a bonus for the rest of your playtime. Therefore, the first prestige is absolutely worth it in our opinion.
Prestige 2 and higher – Only for connoisseurs
Prestige 100 as a goal: Whether all the effort after the first restart is still worthwhile is a question that has been haunting the Hunt community for a while. If you play long-term, enjoy unlocking things, and have no problem starting over repeatedly, the 100 Prestiges are a carrot on a stick for you.
Because you don’t really get anything from it. Except that your badge changes with each prestige at first – from level 10 onwards, it only takes on a new form every 10 prestiges. For a seasoned player, this means only every approximately 150 hours. There are no further rewards at all.
Although Crytek wants to revise the prestige system at some point to make it interesting and rewarding even after the first time, it is currently still unknown when that will happen. Until then, Prestiges 2 to 100 are just something to keep you busy and to live up to the name, namely, to collect Prestige in the true sense of the word.
What do you think about it? What prestige do you have in Hunt? Or are you still considering whether you want to start over at all? Feel free to write it to us in the comments here at MeinMMO.
MMORPGs have been known especially since World of Warcraft. However, the genre dates back many years, and only recently have more games been released on consoles. In this special, we delve into the question of what the first console MMORPG actually was.
What was the first MMORPG on consoles? Officially, it is titled Phantasy Star Online by SEGA. The game was released in 2000 for the Dreamcast and is listed by Guinness World Records as the first console MMORPG ever.
Console MMORPGs are only now becoming truly popular
Which console MMORPGs came after? It took a few years before the next console MMORPG was released:
Final Fantasy XI was released in 2002 for the PlayStation 2 (in Europe only in 2004)
EverQuest received its own game for the PlayStation 2, which was released in North America in 2003, but never made it to Europe.
In the following years, most games did not appear for the console.
When thinking of the most successful and influential MMORPGs, titles like WoW, Ultima Online, RuneScape, or EVE Online probably come to mind. These games all have one thing in common: They were only released for the PC – RuneScape is now also available for mobile.
What does it look like today? Only recently, due to the successes of Destiny, Final Fantasy XIV, and ESO, new MMORPGs have also been increasingly released for consoles. These include:
DC Universe Online
Neverwinter
Black Desert
Bless Unleashed
Skyforge
However, some of the biggest titles – such as WoW, Lost Ark, GW2, or RuneScape – are still hard to find on PlayStation and Xbox.
What was the first MMORPG ever? This is somewhat controversial.
Some consider Maze War to be the beginning of the MMOs. However, the game was purely text-based.
The first commercial success with associated graphics was Island of Kesmai in 1985. However, only 6 players could play together and had to type a lot themselves.

Where does the term MMORPG come from? The history of the genre in 2 minutes
However, the term “MMORPG” was coined by the game Ultima Online and its developer Richard “Lord British” Garriott. Ultima Online offered the opportunity to experience free role-playing in a graphical environment. Players developed their heroes based on skills, explored a vast land, and could even learn professions such as craftsman or fisherman.
You can learn more about the development of MMORPGs here:
Many MMORPGs and shooters are also available for mobile. You can currently get the best controller for mobile at a really low price thanks to Prime Day.
Many developers release their games in a mobile version. There is already quite a bit of equipment that you can buy for your mobile device. The best controller for Android mobile phones is currently available for around 40 euros.
We explain why the offer is so good and why we can recommend the controller in our article.
You won’t find a better controller for Android mobile phones on sale
What kind of device is this? The Razer Kishi is a controller in which you slot your mobile device in the middle. You connect your device directly via the USB-C or Lightning port. This way, the controller doesn’t require its own battery, but you cannot use the headphone jack. There is an additional USB-C port on the front, so you can charge your device while gaming.
You can also find the Razer Kishi in our buying guide about mobile controllers that you can currently purchase:
What do we like about the controller? The controller is very compact and suitable for travel. Setup works without issues, and the device is recognized immediately if controller support is available.
Since the controller connects to your mobile device via USB-C, there is virtually no latency. This is also an advantage compared to controllers that rely on Bluetooth or wireless connections.
The buttons of the controller feel precise. As it follows the common Xbox design, all buttons are easily accessible. With the rounded corners, the Kishi also feels good in the hand during longer gaming sessions.
What didn’t work out so well? The build quality does not always convince us. Razer primarily uses plastic. The two halves of the controller are connected by a type of leather strap. This works perfectly. Other manufacturers opt for a stable mount on the back. It’s a bit disappointing that the manufacturer relies only on plastic. As a result, the grips feel a bit hard and provide no grip.
You can read a detailed test of the Razer Kishi here on MeinMMO:
Why is the offer worth it? The Razer Kishi usually costs 89.99 euros. At this price, we find the Kishi a bit too expensive as the build quality doesn’t fully convince, and other controllers appear to be of higher quality.
For just 43 euros, however, the Kishi is an excellent deal for all users who regularly play on their mobile devices. You can hardly go wrong here if your game, such as Diablo Immortal or Apex Legends, offers controller support.

Michael “shroud” Grzesiek made a name for himself as a “human aimbot” in Counter Strike. However, in 2018 he ended his e-sports career and became a full-time streamer. Now, however, he joined a team in Valorant. Although he is already older and has never played Valorant competitively, a teammate is sure that he will deliver a strong performance.
However, things are not looking good for his team at the moment. They have already missed the direct qualification for the Champions 2022. Here, OpTic Gaming and XSET managed to secure their spots. Instead, they now have to play in the so-called Last Chance in August.
In the Last Chance, 8 teams are fighting for the first place – and only one qualifies for the World Championship. Teams like FaZe, Cloud9, or 100 Thieves, all of whom performed better in the regular season than Sentinels, are waiting.
In addition, there are some doubts about shroud’s abilities. While he was an active e-sports player in CS:GO from 2013 to 2018 and also showcased his skills as a human aimbot in CoD Modern Warfare, the streamer is not getting any younger and will not improve without the pressure of tournaments.
The most successful e-sports players are usually between 16 and 25 years old. At 28, shroud is already considered “old iron”, also because reaction times decline over time. Moreover, he has never really played Valorant competitively – except in a tournament with a team consisting of streamers.
Start video
Twitch: Who were actually the first successful streamers?
“Really damn good, trust me”
How is shroud’s return to e-sports being received? He has a strong supporter in his 21-year-old teammate Tyson “TenZ” Ngo. He stated in a stream:
CS:GO players have it quite easy to transition to Valorant. If they already know Valorant and are aware of the abilities, they have to learn much less. He [shroud] is already very good at the game, without constantly playing and participating in competitions. No one can take that away from him. He is really damn good, trust me.
The streamer also benefits from the fact that he has already broadcast over 1,000 hours of Valorant on Twitch, giving him a strong foundational knowledge of maps and classes.
If he still has difficulties, the upcoming bootcamp of the team will help, TenZ believes and is sure: “He will perform strongly.”
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bzLCZaf-WL0
The streamer Tarik, also active in Valorant, explained in a video why he himself does not want to play for Sentinels. In it, he also says: “I think shroud will play really well” (via YouTube).
Even in the comments on the Sentinels video, there are many fans who believe in a comeback for shroud. One user writes: “Surely he doesn’t have the sharpest reflexes anymore, but he has a damn big brain. Anyone who has followed shroud for years knows that. In a good team, he can change things in no time.”
Are there critical voices? Yes. Some users in the comments on YouTube see shroud’s signing as a PR move. Sentinels is one of the most well-known teams in Valorant but had no significant success to report this year and is unlikely to qualify for the Champions 2022. At least the team got a lot of attention.
Valorant caster RyanCentral sees it the same way. He wrote (via Twitter):
Signing shroud brings Sentinels more than a victory in the Last Chance or even winning the Champions. I both love and hate that.
He justifies this by stating that a new American league is being founded in 2023, in which only certain franchises can participate, like in the LCS or LEC in League of Legends. With shroud, Sentinels increases their value for that.
However, the gameplay aspect is also criticized:
Some label him as “overrated”
Others say he was once good, but is no longer.
So far, there have been few evaluations from other Valorant professionals, but a few ironic remarks. Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker from Team OpTic Gaming said in an interview: “After we got the news [about shroud’s return], we as a team decided to give up. Because now all teams are only playing for second place” (via YouTube).
Shroud kills 3 players in livestream without seeing them
How is shroud performing in Valorant right now? Pretty well. Just on July 11th, he made headlines by achieving three “wall bangs” in a row. This involves killing opponents through walls without having visibility on them.
The corresponding clip has already been viewed over 270,000 times, showing many that shroud is still a strong shooter player.

What do you think about shroud’s comeback? Can he use his experience to help the team move forward? Or is he too old for competitive e-sports and should he rather settle down?
In LoL, a pro also returned after a break and is playing again in the highest American league:
The German manufacturer BMW is selling subscriptions for various functions in the car. Particularly nasty about it: The features are already built into the car. The community is anything but thrilled about this.
Buying a car is usually an expensive affair. For a car with numerous functions, you often pay many thousands of euros and usually, you have to decide right away whether you want to pay an additional price for certain features.
The manufacturer BMW has now come up with something special. Because certain functions can only be used if you pay a subscription fee. This is likely to remind some of you of your nightmares about MMORPGs. Pay2Win like in Diablo Immortal is particularly hated among gamers, and soon you can at least gain a nasty advantage over your “opponents” in traffic with your seat heating.
The dream of every gamer in the car: A subscription is required for functions in the car
Where can you find this at all? The new offers from BMW are now available in the manufacturer’s digital store. In countries like the UK, Germany, New Zealand, or South Africa, you can now subscribe for your BMW. You can find the offer directly on the BMW website.
By the way, the subscription feature is not entirely new: According to TheVerge, BMW has been relying on such microtransactions since 2020 and is gradually expanding the portfolio behind the “paywall.” With its latest update in the shop, BMW has added the subscription for the seat heating. And many users are upset about this. Because the function is already built into the car and only unlocked through the subscription.
How does it work exactly? The manufacturer has built a software lock into its cars. This lock prevents you from using certain functions. Game developers do this too: You first have to pay a certain amount to access a special merchant or a crafting bag.
If you now want to use the seat heating or a driving assistant, you have to pay a subscription of 17 euros per month in BMW’s store. For other functions, fees between 9 and 20 euros are also due.
BMW offers subscription services for car functions in its shop.
What is currently unclear? Neither from the store nor from the comments of the angry users is it clear how the price of the subscription is composed. Some at least hope that the base price of the car will decrease when they have to pay for a subscription.
The community is angry with BMW: “Hopefully the airbag subscription doesn’t expire before the accident!”
Why are so many users upset about this? Functions like seat heating are already built into many cars. In theory, you have therefore paid for the hardware with the car purchase, but cannot use the function because it is locked behind software. A user writes on reddit:
Imagine spending more than 50,000 US dollars on a car, only for them to cheat you with microtransactions for a damn seat heater.
Others see it even more drastically and no longer consider it a microtransaction, but rather a common method to squeeze money out of customers:
It is no longer a microtransaction. That’s about 216 dollars before taxes per year. What if you drive conservatively and keep the car for about 13 years? That’s almost 3,000 dollars just to warm your butt for half a year.
There is certainly understanding that manufacturers want to charge a fee for the use of current GPS data or maps. Because the effort involved in the updated data should also be compensated.
What do you think? Do you find it acceptable to have to pay for additional functions in your car, or do you want to buy the entire package directly? Tell us in the comments and discuss with other users.

In response, he tried to remain nice and replied, “Hey! I’m from here too. I will stop attacking the Gym, and we could participate in events together and so on!”
But the two trainers did not seem to be thrilled by the idea. They responded, “Not as long as we’re in quarantine” and gave him disdainful looks, according to u/thoughtlessPhantasm.

In Pokémon GO defeating Gyms is one of the core features. Now the story of a trainer is going around who was chased away by strange players near his home.
The reddit user u/thoughtlessPhantasm shared an experience on the social network where he was treated rudely by unfamiliar Pokémon GO trainers. He wrote, “Approaching strangers and telling them ‘Get out of my Gym’ is not acceptable, ever.

After his victory in the Gym, the trainer decided to use one of his Pokémon to defend it and went home.
