A user has complained to the community: Every time he changes clothes in his room, his computer turns on. The community is amused by this, but a solution is also in sight.
Another user now has a particularly crazy problem. Because every time he changes his clothes, his computer also starts up.
A change of clothes causes the computer to suddenly turn on
What exactly happened? A user uploaded a small video on reddit. Here you can see him waving a piece of clothing in front of his PC. And suddenly, the computer turns on as if by magic. The user himself writes that the PC turns on every time he changes clothes. You can watch the short video directly on reddit:

I also thought it was the mouse, so I disabled the mouse wake-up months ago.
Half the time I don’t move as quickly as in the video, but I regularly put on pajamas about a meter [from the PC].
Is there a solution? Meanwhile, some have also proposed a solution to the problem. He should start his PC and enter “powercfg -lastwake” in the command prompt. Here he can then see what has woken his computer up.
He should then disable all functions that wake his computer. These include things like simple mouse movements or that the computer wants to boot up for an update.
It may also be worthwhile to properly shut down the gaming PC when you don’t need your device or prefer to game on another device:
What exactly is causing it? A user explains more specifically where the problem lies. And it is not the gaming mouse that many suspect, but it is the keyboard. Because the user uses a rubber dome keyboard (via reddit.com):
In rubber dome keyboards, there is a pair of exposed circuit paths on the board under each key, which are very close together and designed so that pressing the key maximizes the contact area between these two circuit paths and the carbon-coated rubber. In mechanical keyboards, two metal plates are located close together somewhere in the switch.
By generating static electricity and the subsequent movement of charges (on the charged material), you induce voltage and current in the circuits around them, and especially in the keyboard pads, which now effectively function like a capacitor.
If the current flows fast enough, the microcontroller will recognize this as a key press.
Other users also have similar problems with their PCs
How does the community react? They are first amused by the funny video. Meanwhile, the thread on reddit has received more than 40,000 upvotes and more than 3,000 comments.
When you change clothes, you get naked. So it gets turned on.
Others also explain that he should rather find another room to change. That would be the quickest way to solve the problem. However, it is interesting that there are many other users who have similar problems with their computers:
For one user, the PC turns on when he draws down the electric blinds in the room.
For another, the computer starts when he turns on the printer in the next room.
Another one says that the movement of his gaming chair turns the PC on.
More tips for gaming PCs: Are you wondering if you should also properly shut down your gaming PC? MeinMMO explains what happens when you just turn off the entire power strip:
In response to concerns about getting banned for not staying with the mass of players who “quickly rush through Alterac Valley,” because one is defending a base, Vrakthris explained further:
Some may report you if you do not participate in the way they think you should, but that does not necessarily trigger anything. As I said, the application of these penalties is not automated. They are based on your actions and the data that your actions provide.
However, it is important to remember that battlegrounds are a team event. You are not there solo and it is often necessary to work with your team to some extent. If you set out alone to defend a lone tower without your team’s approval and you never encounter anyone you need to defend against, well, you are not really participating in [the battleground].
What does this mean now? In short: Those who until now considered themselves the lone hero, heroically defending the tower and deterring attackers merely by their presence, should think twice about it. Because this apparently does not count as participation in the battleground.
Those who are concerned about the security of their account should rather swim with the crowd in PvP and engage in actual combat actions.
This is how the community reacts: Opinions on this statement are clearly divided. While many make fun of the statement, there are also numerous players who share this view. PvP battlegrounds are indeed a team endeavor, and those who want to do their “ego thing” should not sign up for a group activity. Some of the comments in the subreddit are like:
“So should people now be clairvoyant and predict whether someone is defending the towers or not? Delaying the recapture of a tower can buy more time to defeat the boss, so it can literally be a matter of victory or defeat in such games.”
“To be honest, I understand what they are trying to achieve. I remember the good old days when I sat AFK in the tower watching YouTube while the rest of the raid did the actual work. I guess too many people exploited that, and that’s why we can’t have nice things anymore.”
“I find it (obviously) stupid to ban people for defending, but I can also see that it can be a problem to catch the right AFKers while not discovering those who are actually defending a tower but just not being attacked.”
What do you think of this decision? Understandable and sensible? Or absolutely incomprehensible?

Defending towers in PvP of World of Warcraft is important. Or is it? But only if you do it with the group. Lone heroes are violating the guidelines.
battlegrounds have been part of a player’s daily life in World of Warcraft for nearly 20 years. But even if you’re not a big PvP fan, you’ve probably checked out Alterac Valley or other Battlegrounds.
For many, it is completely normal to just hang back and defend a tower, even if no one attacks in the end. But this is an offense, says Blizzard. Because then you are not really participating in the battle.
What is it actually about? The battleground “Alterac Valley” is one of the oldest PvP battlegrounds in World of Warcraft. The objectives are relatively simple: You have to capture the enemy towers and graveyards in order to defeat a PvE boss in the enemy base. The first to accomplish this wins the battle.
You need to protect allied towers and destroy enemy towers. Because every tower still standing strengthens the boss in the end, so it is worthwhile to take out the towers beforehand – or at least that’s what you would think.
But Blizzard has now clarified in the official forum: If you defend a tower and no one attacks it, then you are basically not participating in the battle.
PvP battlegrounds like Alterac Valley are also popular in WoW Classic, as WotLK Classic starts now:
What exactly was said? A few days ago, there was a major ban wave in which many accounts were wrongfully punished. According to Blizzard, this was due to an error in the analysis data and the unjust bans were lifted.
However, many players are still banned and will likely remain so, as Blizzard considers the penalties justified in numerous cases. In response to the question of whether the ban system in WoW is automated, Vrakthis from customer service explained in the official WoW forum:
Players can report you for non-participation if they believe you are AFK or not contributing. If enough of these reports come in, you will usually receive a temporary debuff that is meant to encourage you to participate in the fight. If you do not, you will be removed from the battleground.
These reports can also trigger an investigation, but none of this happens automatically. A member or members of specific teams that handle these matters review the reports and your in-game behavior to determine if there is evidence that you contributed to the battleground or not.
Those who are concerned about the security of their account should rather swim with the crowd in PvP and engage in actual combat actions.

The Division: Heartland is a project in the dusty Division universe. It was supposed that the cover shooter would have been on the market by now, but there has been eternal silence from developer Ubisoft. At the “Ubisoft Forward” there should be new information about the game. If you’re interested in testing Heartland yourself, you’ll find the most important information here.
How can I participate in the testing? Since the announcement of Division: Heartland, developer Ubisoft has been inviting players to game tests. There is no guarantee that you will be selected, but if you want to have a chance, check here:

When will Heartland be released? The release was originally planned for late 2021 or early 2022. However, after a delay, it has been quiet about the title for a long time, except for leaks. At the “Ubisoft Forward” there should finally be new information about the game (via twitter.com).

The Division Resurgence – Trailer for Introduction to Gameplay
What kind of game is Heartland? Officially, we know very little about the shooter. Compared to the main games Division 1 and 2, it is more of a “lobby shooter” with shorter matches and fewer MMO elements. Even though everything is heading towards multiplayer.
According to earlier leaks, you should be able to craft items, the class system (specialists) remains intact, and there should be survival aspects. Loot also plays a role and is supposed to be valuable even beyond individual matches. However, all this information comes from early, leaked alpha gameplay.
Currently, everything looks like they want to pack the gameplay of the Division series into a slimmed-down, more digestible environment. Instead of leveling up and collecting equipment for many hours, you will likely be able to jump right into Heartland and experience the gameplay.
The opportunity to earn money in games is on the rise and closely linked to the technology “NFT”. Wealthy investors from the West have previously paid players from countries like the Philippines to perform menial tasks in “PlaytoEarn” games. Expert Mikhai Kosser suggests that we could take it a step further.
Who is speaking? It is Mikhai Kossar. He is part of a group that advises companies on NFT gaming projects. He is giving an interview to “Rest of World” (via restofworld).
Here is his suggestion:
You have people who have money but no time to play a game, and on the other side, you have people who have no money but have time. […]
Because labor in developing countries is cheap, one could use people from the Philippines as NPCs, as real-life NPCs, in games. They could simply populate the world, perhaps perform some job, or just walk back and forth, fish, tell stories, be vendors in a shop – anything is possible.
Mikhai Kossar
NPCs are “non-player characters”; they populate a world and give it color. Perhaps these MMORPGs would still be alive if they had better NPCs:

Gamers have already used cheap labor for menial tasks in games
Is there something like this already? In April 2022, we reported on MeinMMO about the German YouTuber “Sw1pe”: He employed 16 players from the Philippines in the Play2Earn game Axie Infinity, but not as NPCs, rather as “farm bots”:
They played the game for him, earned in-game currency, and he then shared his profit with them. Sw1pe saw himself as an investor who wanted to earn passive income this way.
In return, the German provided his “scholars” with the expensive game figures they needed to even play Axie Infinity.
This worked well until the real-money value of the in-game currency in Axie Infinity collapsed. Then playing was no longer worthwhile for the farmers from the Philippines.
In the article by Rest of World, a similar story is told, but in a Minecraft-based NFT game called Critterz. There, an investor named “Big Chief” used a cheap team of children from the Philippines to gather materials for a casino that he then had built by well-paid “professional Minecraft builders”.
Big Chief saw himself as a benefactor because he was doing so much for the children of the Philippines by providing them with a safe livelihood:
I have a lot of kids playing for me, and they play because they want to make extra money in a country that simply keeps them down.
Big Chief
According to Big Chief, members of his guild had to work hard for 8 hours a day. However, he completely rejected the idea that he was an exploiter.
But even in Critterz, the in-game currency collapsed. Now Big Chief is reportedly upset that he can no longer do as much for “his kids”:
I treated a lot of these kids like my own children, so it’s kind of sad that I can’t offer them as much anymore. Before, I helped a lot of kids by giving them the opportunity to earn some money on the side for their families, and now it’s kind of lame that I can’t do that anymore.
Big Chief
Maybe he will hire a few someday just to populate a virtual world. Instead of chopping stones and hauling them to a building site, they could fish, do some job, or walk back and forth.
In Pokémon GO is a particularly popular monster among trainers: Pikachu. For this reason, players diligently collect the Pokémon and are now showing off their haul. We at MeinMMO have looked at how many Pikachu other players have already collected and explain why they do this.
Which Pokémon is it about? One of the most popular monsters in the game is the Electric-type Pokémon Pikachu. Even in the anime, it was always a loyal companion to you, evolving into a kind of mascot. In the mobile game, Pikachu has also become an indispensable part that cannot be imagined without.
Pikachu seems particularly fond of dressing up, as whenever the occasion permits, the yellow mouse gets all dressed up for you. In the past, it has been found in numerous festivities, such as Halloween and Christmas, as well as at special events like GO Fest, wearing special costumes.
These diverse designs have now created a real collecting hype among some trainers. Therefore, some players in the reddit community are now showcasing their achievements and expressing a desire for a new, important feature.
So many Pikachu have been collected by reddit users
That collecting costumed Pokémon, especially from the Pikachu family, has become a bit of a hype is evident at the latest glance at the reddit post by the user umm_name. There, he shares a picture with 10 different costumed Pikachu as well as Raichu and asks, “Does anyone else collect Pikachu?”.

It quickly becomes clear that umm_name is not alone in this passion. Other trainers have also fallen for the little Electric Pokémon and seem to be collecting every costume they can get their hands on. Mandra_4837 also shows his haul of more than 30 costumes in the comments:
Excerpt from Mandra_4837’s Pikachu collection (via reddit.com)
However, according to several trainers, these are still relatively few Pikachu. For some, quite a lot has accumulated over the years. For this reason, the following can be read in the comments (via reddit.com):
Fjorgyngrma: “I have 229….ugh… there are so many costumed ones, and I keep a few every year.”
FanklyNinja: “Wait until you hear about my 602 event Pikachu that I hoard because I don’t want to let them go.”
NikkiWestX2: “Only 134 costumed Pikachu, because I’ve had to make cuts several times.”
Adventurous_pay_5827: “I have 32 of the 37 available.”
Jomanderisreal: “I’ve been playing consistently since launch and probably have almost every single Pikachu. I only mention this because I don’t want to delete them, but they take up so much storage space.”
But as can be seen from the comments, the multitude of monsters also causes a space problem in Pokémon storage. For this reason, trainers are wishing for a new feature in the future.
Why do trainers even collect Pikachu?
Is Pikachu strong? No, Pikachu is not particularly strong. Therefore, it does not play a role in the GO Battle League and raids. A few costumed Pikachu can evolve into Raichu, but this monster is also rather uninteresting in battle.
So if you are looking for a strong Pokémon for raids, you should rather look for the best attackers in Pokémon GO. In the following video, we show you a selection:
Start video
Pokémon GO: The strongest attackers of all types in the video
What makes costumed Pikachu so special? Unlike the normal form, the costumes cannot be found permanently in the game. Some of them are even only available once during a specific event, like the two GO Fest costumes from 2021.
If you’re lucky enough to encounter a shiny specimen, it makes the Pokémon even more valuable. For example, at the release of the movie “Detective Pikachu,” due to a glitch, it was temporarily possible to catch Pikachu with a detective hat as shiny. Those who were able to get one are very lucky, as it is one of the rarest shinies in the game.
Pikachu Pop-Star and Rock-Star for GO Fest 2021
For this reason, trainers do not want to simply sort out and send away their costumes. Only moving them to Pokémon Home would be an option for some to create space. However, this is not currently possible for costumed monsters.
Additionally, some trainers also want to interact with these monsters from time to time. They want to use them as buddies or take pictures with them. So anyone who wants to collect them in this way has to keep them in their Pokémon storage in Pokémon GO.
Therefore, a separate storage for these costume Pokémon would help. Whether Niantic will introduce such a feature in the future and trainers can then collect costumed Pokémon in their own box remains to be seen. If there are any new information about this, you will learn about it from us at MeinMMO.
How do you feel about being able to find costumed Pokémon in the game again and again? How many of these Pikachu do you have in your collection now? And which ones do you definitely want to secure? Feel free to write us in the comments and exchange ideas with other trainers about it.
The popular streamer Leslie “Fuslie” Fu (29) announced a nostalgia stream on August 31. Towards the end, she became emotional and thanked her fans for the years they shared together. They immediately started speculating wildly.
The article originally appeared on September 5, 2022 – We updated it on September 7, 2022 with new information.
Who is Fuslie?
Fuslie is a 29-year-old Chinese-American from the USA
She has been on Twitch since 2015, streaming full-time since 2016
She now has 1 million followers on Twitch, with an average of over 10,000 viewers
Fuslie is signed as a content creator with the e-sports organization 100 Thieves and often collaborates with the streaming group OfflineTV
Now, she sparked wild rumors with an emotional stream
Streamer thanks her fans, who immediately explode
What was going on? On August 31, Fuslie announced a longer stream on Twitter, saying she felt nostalgic. In this stream, she showcased some “throwback” games that helped her rise as a streamer: CS:GO, Among Us, and GTA RP (via Twitter).
Towards the end of the stream, Fuslie became visibly emotional. Through tears, she thanked her fans, the “Leslers,” for enabling her life as a streamer. The Leslers had made her very happy, and she felt so much gratitude that she couldn’t express.
At midnight, Fuslie abruptly ended the stream with the words: “Nothing happens at midnight, but I have to go. I have to go or something could happen. I have to go, I have to do the thing. Hopefully, I’ll see you in the next stream.”
You can watch the supposed farewell here:
https://youtu.be/SVj-sOxUZ8o
Fuslie addresses her fans with a thank you speech
What rumors arose after the stream? Clips from Fuslie’s emotional speech quickly spread across YouTube and Reddit. Many titles pointed out that it was her last stream on Twitch.
Because Fuslie’s contract with Twitch ended in August, many fans anticipated a switch to the competition of YouTube Gaming and immediately started spending their amassed “Channel Points” on Twitch.
Channel Points are a points program from Twitch. Viewers can earn points by watching streams. These points are tied to the respective channel and can be exchanged for rewards like emotes.
If she switches, Fuslie would be part of a growing group of former Twitch streamers who are being bought by YouTube for a lot of money.
This further fueled the rumors: During the lockdown, Fuslie was part of a group that had success with “Among Us” streams. This included well-known streamers like Valkyrae, Sykkuno, and Lily Pichu. They have now switched to YouTube.
For months, some fans have suspected a switch that was supposedly “leaked” by Fuslie’s friends multiple times. Through her emotional speech, they felt confirmed for good (via Reddit).
Was it all just a joke? Fans feel tricked
Here’s what happened after the emotional stream: The next day, Fuslie returned to Twitch. The stream was titled “You Got Jebaited”, which means “You got tricked”. Additionally, Fuslie was wearing a hoodie with the word “twitch” on it.
“Jebaited” is a Twitch emote and refers to the founder and CEO of CEOGaming, Alex Jebailey. The word is a combination of his name and the English word “bait”. It is used when someone is tricked or fooled.
At the beginning of the stream, Fuslie told her fans they were “so dramatic” and criticized the many “clickbait headlines” on YouTube and various websites. After all, she had already announced the next stream the day before.
https://youtu.be/Octvtcq5DKY
Tricked? This is how Fuslie returned.
Some fans now felt tricked – especially those who hastily spent their saved Channel Points. Many also stated that they cried during the supposed last stream.
But the rumors do not end: Fans suspect a “double jebait”. After all, Fuslie has not confirmed that she extended her Twitch contract. The switch to YouTube could still be on the table.
Update September 7, 202, 10:30 – Fuslie has now announced via Twitter that she is leaving Twitch to stream exclusively on YouTube in the future.
In the announcement video, she symbolically chooses between a purple and a red guitar, and there are cameos from streamer friends who have also made the switch. The first stream is set to take place today.

Also, rumors are currently swirling around another streaming giant: Tyler “Ninja” Blevins was once the biggest streamer on Twitch. Recently, he ended a stream and said he just couldn’t go on anymore.
Fans are speculating whether a switch to YouTube Gaming is being prepared here too or whether Ninja wants to finally hang up his unprecedented streaming career.
The Mastermind in Dead by Daylight was too weak – that’s why it now gets a buff, which is also a bug fix.
In Dead by Daylight, for several days now, the latest killer “The Mastermind” has been wreaking havoc and causing long wait times for killer players, while survivors enjoy bonus blood points and very short queues. However, The Mastermind has quite an annoying problem, as its ability is bugged. The latest patch 6.2.1 is supposed to have fixed that.
What was the problem with the killer? Albert Wesker, aka “The Mastermind”, has proven to be a solid killer, as he ranked quite high on the killer tier list, but there was indeed a problem. His charge ability had a very small radius in which it could detect survivors.
Start video
Dead by Daylight brings the cruel Wesker as a new “Resident Evil” killer
This sometimes led to absurd situations where The Mastermind simply walked straight through a survivor without grabbing them. This happened particularly often when survivors ran in a “zigzag” pattern, as the hitboxes of the survivors behaved somewhat strangely then. You can see what that looked like here:

This led to frustrating moments where you were sure of a hit but ended up rushing against a wall with empty hands (and virus tentacles).
What has now changed? The bug fix patch 6.2.1 has made the hit detection of The Mastermind significantly more generous. It should now be almost impossible for an attack to fail if you hit the survivor accurately. As a result, the killer plays more reliably, and the ability can be used more effectively.
You bought a new graphics card from AMD or Nvidia, but the new GPU is not as fast as expected? MeinMMO presents reasons why this might be the case.
Graphics cards are among the most popular upgrade options for a home gaming PC. But what if you have installed a new graphics card, yet games still don’t look any better and the GPU seems to be underperforming?
MeinMMO explains what problems and causes there might be if your graphics card is not delivering enough performance.
Your graphics card in your gaming PC is overheating quickly
What is the problem? Graphics cards and processors produce heat when they work. Under load, the fans start spinning and expel the heat from your computer so that the graphics card doesn’t get too hot under load.
However, if your system is poorly ventilated, leading to a heat buildup in your system, then the graphics card will get too hot. When the graphics card gets too hot, it throttles its performance to generate less heat. Another reason for high temperatures is the contamination of your system by dust or pet hair.
What can you do about it? Tips on how to keep your gaming PC and thus your graphics card cool can be found in our guide here on MeinMMO:
What is the problem? The power supply unit of your computer (referred to as PSU in English) provides power to your components so they can operate. This also includes your graphics card.
A common problem is that gamers upgrade their PC with a new, powerful graphics card but forget about the power supply at the same time. Fast graphics cards often require more power from the power supply.
Even if you might have the fastest graphics card currently installed, performance can be limited by an underpowered power supply. In the worst case, your game or even the entire system may crash.
What can you do about it? The simplest solution is indeed to purchase a new power supply that provides enough power for your gaming PC.
Insufficient video memory (VRAM)
What is the problem? Your graphics card contains what is known as video memory (VRAM). This memory is particularly fast. Most modern games utilize this video memory to store data, such as textures, so you can access them quickly.
However, if you are gaming at very high resolutions (WQHD, 4K) or VR games, the memory is often heavily stressed. Your graphics card can be extremely fast, but if the video memory is full, you may encounter unpleasant texture loading errors.
This is especially true for older high-end graphics cards, which officially provide more than enough performance for current titles, but the insufficient video memory quickly becomes a limitation.
What can you do about it? The fastest solution is to lower the resolution of the game, thereby reducing the memory demand of the graphics card. Some games also offer the option to limit the graphics card by its memory usage.
Additionally, you should keep this tip in mind if you plan to purchase an older, used graphics card at a low price. Many graphics card models, for example, have variants with 4 GB or 8 GB of video memory:
What is the problem? Faulty or corrupted software can also affect the performance of your graphics card. Manufacturers like AMD or Nvidia regularly provide new software updates to fix errors.
Even a severe crash can lead to previously functioning software becoming corrupted. In these cases, a clean reinstall is often helpful.
What can you do about it? You should reinstall the software that you suspect of causing issues. If you reinstall your graphics card driver, at least one restart is necessary for the changes to take effect. Ideally, after a software update, the problems will also be resolved.
Your other hardware is too weak for your graphics card
What is the problem? You purchased a new high-end graphics card for your system but still have your old low-end processor and 4 GB of RAM installed?
Other hardware can also impact the performance of your graphics card. If the processor is running at 100% utilization while the graphics card is idling at 10% utilization, this is a good indicator. In technical terms, this is called a “bottleneck:” in this case, the processor is the limiting factor because it simply cannot provide enough power to keep up with the graphics card.
What can you do about it? If your other hardware is too weak, you should consider upgrading your other components like the processor, RAM, and so on in the long term. Otherwise, you won’t easily solve the problem.
A short-term solution would be to at least lower the graphics settings, thereby reducing the load on the bottleneck. However, this doesn’t address the fundamental problem that your graphics card cannot be fully utilized.
More tips regarding graphics cards: Are you looking for more helpful tips about your graphics card? In our following article, we explain what signs you can look for that indicate your graphics card might fail soon:
The Twitch streamer Erica Alexis wanted to hear the problems of her viewers and give them advice. A 15-year-old person reached out about a bullying issue, but the streamer’s response was harsh, causing outrage among viewers.
Bullying is a problem that mainly affects children and adolescents. Help is available at the “Number Against Grief,” which can be reached from Monday to Saturday from 2 PM to 8 PM at 116111.
Parents’ phone: 0800/111 0 550 (Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 11 AM, Tuesdays and Thursdays additionally from 5 PM to 7 PM)
This stream is about: The streamer, who appears online under her first name Erica, offered an “Advice Stream” for her nearly 50,000 followers on September 4th. Viewers had the opportunity to consult Erica with their problems, whom she then wanted to advise.
Erica apparently did not take the matter particularly seriously, as she joked that Twitch viewers perceive streamers as therapists anyway, so she could also offer free therapy. However, one person had a more serious concern.
This was the problem the person had:
I am 15 and will soon be in the 10th grade of high school. I have a disability that requires me to use an electric scooter to get to my classes, and I am being bullied a lot. What do you think would help me in this situation?
Anonymous person via Twitch
Streamer advises just not to be a wimp
This is how the streamer reacted: Erica skimmed through the message and immediately exclaimed that she would not give advice to 15-year-olds. However, she did have a shocking piece of advice for the viewers:
You’re being bullied? Destroy them, bro. Stand up for yourself and don’t be a little wimp.
Erica via Twitch
In doing so, Erica repeatedly used the term “stand up for yourself.” Her viewers pointed out that this wording was very inappropriate given the situation.
However, Erica continued: Being bullied is a good thing because it builds character. Those who were bullied as children are now strong, while those who were not bullied are now wimps.
Then Erica added that 15-year-olds have no business in her chat anyway because they have no money. The streamer referred to it as “tough love.” However, some viewers disagreed: “I like you, but what you just said was really stupid.”
Viewers shocked by insensitive behavior
This is how the viewers reacted: A clip of the incident was shared in the popular subreddit r/LivestreamFail, where the reactions were similar to those in Erica’s own chat. While some users shared the streamer’s humor, others were shocked by the insensitive wording.
One person made a sarcastic remark: “Hahaha, she just told a depressed child looking for advice not to be a little wimp, hahaha, so funny.” Others were concerned about the potential consequences of supporting bullying in American schools.
However, some users sided with Erica:
I’m not sure why people expect streamers to give advice. Talk to the people in your life, your family, your friends, a therapist, not some random guy or girl who streams for entertainment.
At this point, however, some saw the problem: These people would simply have no one to talk to and would therefore seek advice from someone they regularly see.
What do you think about all this? Was the streamer too harsh on a person who came to her with a problem? Or are streamers not responsible for the problems of their viewers? Feel free to leave a comment with your opinion.
The relationship between Twitch streamers and their viewers is often discussed. However, it can also work the other way around. The Twitch streamer Mitch Jones recently sought advice from his chat, but the fellow streamer Mizkif considered this behavior unhealthy:
In Red Dead Online there is a new update, but players are responding rather coldly to the changes. Especially a small feature from the patch notes is causing irritation.
What kind of update is this? The update was released on September 6, but without prior announcement. Moreover, the update is about 5 GB in size, which apparently fueled hopes among some players in the Red Dead Online subreddit for some gameplay innovations.
However, the contents of the update are not that extensive. The highlight is three new hardcore telegram missions, where you can take on cultists. You can now also start these missions from the player menu and the camp.
In addition, there are some other adjustments and mainly bug fixes. And another feature stands out in the patch notes (via support.rockstar), as it is even directly listed in second place: “A link to the credits has been added to the pause menu.”
You can now jump directly from the main menu to the credits.
Players had hoped for a bigger update for Red Dead Online
“3 disappointing telegram missions, a few bug fixes, graphic improvements (only for PC). Yep, that’s Rockstar” (via reddit).
Moreover, the credits feature is causing laughter:
“‘A link to the credits has been added to the pause menu’. YES! That’s what we’ve all been waiting for. Forget the DLC, this is the most important thing since launch” (via reddit).

A little praise is at least given for some graphic improvements and new merchant bonuses. Overall, however, the update is not very popular.
However, Rockstar had already announced in a blog post in July that updates to RDO would no longer bring major content expansions, but rather smaller ones like these telegram missions.
The upcoming GTA 6 also plays a role – as Rockstar explained in the blog post that more and more development resources would be shifted to the new installment of the Grand Theft Auto series. Meanwhile, the wait for the reveal of GTA 6 continues.

Temtem is out! After more than 2.5 years in Early Access on Steam, the Pokémon competitor releases its version 1.0 and is also available on PS5, Xbox Series, and the Switch. For MeinMMO author Maik Schneider, Temtem has brought the classic monster hunting to a glorious conclusion.
Many of us grew up with the Pokémon games, most will likely remember their first starter. For me, it was the original versions, so I naturally chose Charmander.
By the end of the lifecycle of the first Pokémon games, I had them all – blue, red, yellow. Oh yes, and of course the 151 monsters that could be collected back then.
How much I battled with Tauros in the Safari Zone to complete my collection. How furious I was when Ash casually caught nearly 500 of them in the anime.
But then the series quickly lost its appeal for me. The sequels Gold and Silver only brought more monsters, a new map, but few innovations that could keep me engaged. And this continued for years.
My last classic Pokémon game was the sun edition, a trip to the Alola Islands. I enjoyed the story quite a bit, but the whole surrounding experience was a real turn-off. Pokémon-Alien-Ultra-Beasts? Z-Move whatever? After finishing the story, the DS cartridge ended up in the cabinet.
I thought the old, exhilarating feeling of refined monster hunting was lost forever. But then Temtem came and took me along.
We embed the trailer for the 1.0 release here:

Temtem – 1.0 Launch Trailer
Temtem is grown-up, nostalgic, and has the better combat system
Temtem is very similar to Pokémon in many respects. You start as a freshly baked trainer in a remote village, gradually exploring new areas, all filled with new Temtems that you can catch with crazy cards. So far, so familiar.
However, it is the small, subtle differences that ultimately create a refreshing gaming experience. The new features are mixed with a return to the gameplay of the original Pokémon versions and regular references that provide a nostalgia kick.
The Combat: In combat, Temtem focuses on 2-person teams and less randomness. This results in more dynamics between the monsters and creates better conditions for competitive experiences.
The Multiplayer: It’s a little cumbersome but possible. If you want, you can experience the entire story, the whole game in co-op. How my Link cable from the Game Boy would have glowed if that had been possible back then.
In a co-op battle, each player controls a Temtem.
The Story: The story in Temtem is much more mature. While Pokémon can get dark at times, Temtem addresses themes like war, betrayal, and human failure. The characters rarely seem to be perfectly suited for their roles. Everything is much more human and thus more relatable and enjoyable.
The Nostalgia: Temtem constantly plays with its connection to Pokémon. For instance, there is a truck hidden on a shore that you can interact with. It’s just a few lines and a catchphrase at the end. Yet the scene produced a broad grin because it is a clear reference to the truck that millions of fans once believed was the hiding place of Mew, the mysterious 151st Pokémon.
The Endgame: In contrast to Pokémon, Temtem relies on live service. The game is continuously developed, brings seasons with new content, and has large areas meant to keep players engaged after the story – aside from PvP battles and the breeding grind. You can find both in Temtem as well.
Temtem challenges Pokémon, shows its endgame in the new trailer – “This is how Pokémon games should have always been”
Conclusion: The crowning of classic monster hunting
Pokémon has taken an important step with Legends: Arceus. Moving away from static battles in tall grass towards a character that throws balls around. An important evolution.
Because with the old system, Pokémon could hardly surprise anymore. More importantly: After many years of revisions, changes, and experiments with the monster mechanics, it had become nothing more than a shadow of itself.
A successful shadow, yes. But Temtem has shown how classic monster hunting should really work – with co-op, good stories, a large endgame, housing, and live service. All without the certainty that a new “Ultra” version of my monster game will be released soon.
Temtem is not perfect, the grind for money can be annoying, and luck in breeding can be as well. But if you have always been a fan of monster games, then take a look at the title.
A really good implementation of the ideas behind Pokémon, without the years of pressure to make something so “new” and “exciting” that it feels like a foreign body in the game.

FIFA 23 is approaching and more information about the game is being released. Now EA Sports showcased some of the so-called “OTW Players” – cards that can continuously improve.
What are OTW Players in FIFA 23? OTW Players have been around for a few years in Ultimate Team. OTW stands for “Ones To Watch” – players that you should keep an eye on.
Only players who have switched clubs in real football for the new season can receive these cards. The special thing about them is that they have the opportunity to improve their stats over time.
How does the OTW Upgrade work? As in the past, an upgrade occurs whenever the player receives a performance-based special card – for example, a “Team of the Week” or “Man of the Match” card. This means that the better a player is in real life, the stronger their OTW card can become.
Additionally, there is an upgrade when the player’s team achieves 3 wins in the league from 8 matches starting September 30. The player does not have to play themselves.
What’s new: As a third possibility, there will be an upgrade for the World Cup: In FUT 23, the “Nations to Watch” system should also provide better stats. Players can receive a one-time upgrade if their national team wins a game at the World Cup. The player does not have to play and apparently does not have to be part of the team either (via EA.com).
The first 4 players who can receive such a card have now been announced.
These are the first 4 OTW Players in FIFA 23
Who gets an OTW card? Via Twitter, EA Sports showed the first 4 names:

Looking at his current numbers, many Team-of-the-Week cards could be coming: In 6 Premier League games, Haaland has already scored 10 goals. If this continues, the OTW card could be amazing.
But the other cards are exciting as well, since Sterling and Richarlison have already been favorites among FIFA players for years due to their ratings. And Núñez could get a few upgrades at Liverpool.

When will the cards be released? It is expected that the OTW cards will be introduced with the release on September 30 – after all, the upgrade counter will start from then on. OTW cards are usually part of the early events in Ultimate Team. However, you will likely need some luck to get them.
Additionally, pre-orderers of the Ultimate Edition will receive such a player in Ultimate Team – which one it is remains a matter of luck as well.

In October, the MMORPG New World is planning a major update. Now it is seeing higher player numbers. However, some players are hesitant about their return.
According to Steamdb, New World is currently experiencing a rise in player numbers on Steam. The 24h peak is currently just under 33,000, while in previous weeks it was 8,000 players less. At the moment, there are even queues when logging in.
Nevertheless, Amazon was not able to solve all problems with the update, which is why some players are still unsure whether they want to return to the MMORPG.
Players do not want to return despite improvements
There will also be changes to the economy. The developers are gradually repairing the broken economy and ensuring that money is distributed more fairly in New World. So far, the economy has been heavily influenced by bots.
In the video, you can see the current update:

New World: This is what to expect in the largest update so far
Under a post on reddit, it becomes clear that many players would like to return, but see the imbalanced economy as too big of a problem. Some see it as a disaster, while others consider it already repaired. Again, others wish for new servers for a fresh start.
Many players like New World but do not play it for various reasons. Nevertheless, they wish the game success and praise the new update.
This is what the community says:
toljar: ‘Give me a freshly started server and I’ll come back.’
Glover1007: ‘Even though I don’t play anymore, I wish the game success; the new update looks great.’
kindafunnylookin: ‘I would be very happy if New World manages to be successful despite all its problems.’
securitywyrm: ‘A broken economy is a red flag for me because it’s never just the economy that is broken.’
criosist: ‘It’s getting better, but it still has bad problems that probably won’t be solved anytime soon.’
What do you think about the topic? Are you currently playing New World, or have you played it before? Would you return if the developers fix all the problems? What do you think about the idea of new servers? Feel free to let us know in the comments here on MeinMMO!
In Pokémon GO the big Psychic Spectacle is currently running where you can encounter numerous Pokémon. We from MeinMMO have looked at what monsters they are and will tell you which ones you should definitely catch.
Which Pokémon is it about? Currently, Pokémon GO is hosting this year’s Psychic Spectacle, which brings you a range of thematically appropriate Pokémon in the wild, in eggs, and in raids. You can also find some specimens in the rewards of the event quests and limited research.
However, not all monsters you can encounter during the event are worth it. We have looked at the spawns in more detail and listed for you 10 Pokémon that you should secure for the Psychic Spectacle.
We start our ranking with the best Pokémon for raids and the GO Battle League, which you can find on the first page, and on page 2 we will show you all the monsters that are particularly worth collecting the Shiny variants.
When does the event take place? The Psychic Spectacle runs from September 6, 2022, at 10:00 local time until September 12, 2022, at 20:00 local time.
[toc]
1. Mega-Alakazam
Mega-Alakazam normal (left) and Shiny (right)
What kind of Pokémon is this? Mega-Alakazam is the temporary evolution of the Psychic Pokémon Alakazam from the first game generation. The monster is making its debut in the game during the Psychic Spectacle. To evolve, you need 200 Mega Energy.
Why is Mega-Alakazam worth it? A glance at Alakazam’s stats shows that the Pokémon can benefit from an enormous attack value. Its Mega evolution is significantly stronger and has, behind Deoxys (Attack Form), the currently highest value.
If you catch an Alakazam after the Mega raid, it will also learn the charge move Psychic during the event. This move charges relatively quickly and deals significant damage to the opponent. Therefore, you should definitely secure this Pokémon for your raid battles.
Where can you find it during the event? Mega-Alakazam will be available during the Psychic Spectacle in Mega raids. There you can secure the necessary Mega Energy and then evolve a strong Alakazam yourself. With a bit of luck, you might even encounter a Shiny Alakazam after the raid.
What kind of Pokémon is this? With Abra, we stay within the family of Alakazam, as this Psychic Pokémon from the first generation can evolve into Alakazam and eventually into Mega-Alakazam via Kadabra.
Why is Abra worth it? If you are looking for a strong Psychic Pokémon but do not want to spend passes on the corresponding Mega raids, you should keep an eye out for Abra. This monster is not particularly strong on its own, but through its evolution Alakazam, it can perform well in the raids.
Alakazam benefits from high attack, solid stamina, and defense values. Although it does not quite match its competitors, like Mewtwo and Hoopa, it secures a spot among the top 10 Psychic attackers in the game with a moveset of Confusion and Psychic.
In addition, your Alakazam automatically learns Psychic as an event move during the Psychic Spectacle when you evolve Kadabra accordingly.
Where can you find it during the event? Abra spawns in the wild throughout the event. There you might even encounter a Shiny version with a bit of luck. Additionally, you can occasionally find Abra’s evolution Kadabra in the wild. However, this cannot be caught in its Shiny form.
3. Ralts
Ralts, Kirlia, Gardevoir and Gallade normal (left) and Shiny (right)
What kind of Pokémon is this? Ralts is a Psychic and Fairy Pokémon from the 3rd generation. It evolves into Kirlia and then into Gardevoir and Gallade.
Why is Ralts worth it? Ralts is generally one of the weaker monsters in the game. However, that cannot be said about its two evolutions Gardevoir and Gallade. They impress with high attack values and solid defense and stamina.
Like Alakazam, they rely on a moveset of Confusion and Psychic in battle and also rank among the top Psychic attackers in the game.
Additionally, Gardevoir can impress with a moveset of Charm and Dazzling Gleam as a strong Fairy attacker and is therefore also one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
Where can you find it during the event? Ralts can be found in the wild throughout the event, possibly even as a Shiny version with a bit of luck. Also, Kirlia, Ralts’ first evolution, will occasionally appear here.
However, it is similar to Abra and Kadabra, only Ralts can be caught as a Shiny version. To obtain Shiny Kirlia, you can only evolve Shiny Ralts.
4. Woobat
Woobat normal (left) and Shiny (right)
What kind of Pokémon is this? A somewhat inconspicuous Pokémon in this list is Woobat. The Psychic Pokémon from the 2nd generation only has the pre-evolution Woobat. The monster has no evolution.
Why is Woobat worth it? Although Woobat does not seem particularly special at first glance and can only score with high stamina, it could still be interesting for some players.
Woobat manages to secure 27th place in the PvPoke ranking of the Super League with a moveset of Counter, Return, and Mirror Coat. So if you’re still looking for a strong Psychic Pokémon for the GO Battle League, Woobat might be an option. Furthermore, you can also catch the monster in its Shiny form.
Where can you find it during the event? Woobat will be available in Level 3 raids throughout the entire Psychic Spectacle.
5. Deoxys
Deoxys in its various forms normal (top) and Shiny (bottom)
What kind of Pokémon is this? Deoxys is a legendary Psychic Pokémon from the 3rd generation. The monster has four different forms: Normal form, Attack form, Defense form, and Speed form. It has no pre-evolution or evolution.
Why is Deoxys worth it? Generally, Deoxys is primarily appealing to Shiny hunters, as all its forms can be caught shiny with a bit of luck. Additionally, looking more closely at the individual variants of the Psychic Pokémon reveals that they have significantly different stats.
With the Attack form, for instance, Deoxys has the highest attack value in the game. However, its stamina and especially its defense are quite poor, which means the Pokémon does not last long in battle, thus it does not belong among the best attackers.
In its Defense form, the stats are somewhat more balanced overall. This monster boasts an enormous defense value, while its stamina and attack are average. Thus, it is a solid candidate in the Super League and secures 42nd place with a moveset of Counter, Psyshock, and Thunderbolt.
Where can you find it during the event? You can find Deoxys in its various forms in Level 5 raids during the entire event. With a bit of luck, it can also be caught as a Shiny.
Here you can find the best counters against the various forms of Deoxys:
However, during the Psychic Spectacle, not only strong Pokémon will be interesting for raids or PvP battles, but especially Shiny specimens are very popular with many players. On the next page, we will show you 5 monsters for which you should definitely secure the Shiny during the event.

The Twitch streamer Clara “Keffals” Sorrenti (28) advocates for the rights of transgender people. For this, she is regularly targeted. About a month ago, she was swatted in her home in Canada and arrested. She then launched a campaign to take down the forum “Kiwi Farms”. Now she celebrates the victory.
This is Keffals:
The Twitch streamer Keffals is repeatedly the target of online attacks as an activist for the rights of transgender people.

Streamer interrogated at home by police due to fake email
This is the latest conflict:
About a month ago, the Twitch streamer became the target of a hate campaign. The site Polygon reported that Keffals was “swatted” and arrested at her home in London, Ontario, on August 5 (via polygon). Keffals says she woke up and saw the barrel of a gun.
Someone had sent a false email and threatened people in Keffals’ name. The email said that Keffals had killed her mother and planned to go to the town hall with an illegal firearm to injure people.
It is believed that this campaign originated in the notorious “Kiwi Farms” forum: Kiwi Farms is considered a “hate forum”.
What is swatting? In a swatting incident, the police are alerted under false pretenses (such as a hostage situation) and sent to the address of the swatting victim. The idea is that the police surprise the victim to thwart a crime. Swatting is by no means a prank call; it is a very serious matter. People have died as a result of swatting, and perpetrators have gone to prison for it.
This is how the Twitch streamer took revenge: Keffals was able to put so much pressure on her community that the service provider CloudFlare withdrew its support for the forum (via cloudflare), and it now looks like the forum must shut down and remain permanently offline.
Keffals is celebrating this success with her community on Twitter.

The woman shares an alleged official letter from the public prosecutor’s office in Nuremberg-Fürth. According to the document dated August 21, 2022, an investigative procedure was initiated against her.
The allegations are:
Cyberbullying
Cyberstalking
Hacking
Threat
Hate speech
Persecution of minorities
Keffals also shares chat logs: The woman was asked if she was being prosecuted for cyberbullying in the case of the German YouTuber “Drachenlord”. However, she replied “No, for Keffals.”
Berlin law professor considers document to be fake
What is the problem with this post? The post shared by Keffals is seen by Twitter users as evidence of the strictness of the German justice system and that Germany is taking a tough stance against cyberbullying – in contrast to the lax laws elsewhere.
However, this seems to be an interpretation from a German perspective that is difficult for us to understand. Because from Germany, there have repeatedly been cases where action was not taken against cyberbullying:
It has been widely discussed that Green politician Renate Künast had to endure severe insults online because even these insults still fell under freedom of expression. Künast had to fight for her rights in the Federal Constitutional Court.
A major investigation by ZDF Magazin Royale in May 2022 revealed that the German police had failed in many cases in pursuing crimes on the internet (via youtube).
This is how law professor Dr. Kirstin Drenkhahn from Berlin also exposes the letter as likely fake: The wording did not match, and the formalities were also incorrect.
In any case, a tough decision seems to be coming for the 5 Twitch streamers of NNO:
Because their streaming conflicts with being a “serious competitive LoL player”.
Riot Games’ rules collide with their Twitch streams and their ad deals, but also – as with Tolkin – with their employment relationships.
Other team members have also noted that their current work on Twitch and in the LoL scene will soon no longer be compatible with Riot Games’ regulations:
Bot laner Broeki is currently linked to the “Prime League” team Eintracht Spandau.
Other team members have ad deals that would no longer work.
NoWay is one of the biggest Twitch streamers in Germany. He finds it hard to restrict himself.
The Twitch streamers hope that Riot Games will reconsider and take their special situation into account.

In December 2020, the German top laner Niklot “Tolkin” Stüber ended his professional career in League of Legends. The 24-year-old had played in 8 LoL teams since 2016 but never made it to the LEC. Tolkin took a job at the Berlin company “Freaks4U” as a caster and talent, and started gaining traction on Twitch. He had to resign from that job in September 2022. By accident, he is trying to get back into the Prime League in LoL with a hobby team.
How did Tolkin’s career go?
The player Tolkin is considered one of the best German top laners. He roamed through 8 different teams from 2016 to 2020 and made a name for himself during that time. He calls himself the “record champion of the Prime League” but says he is “hard stuck”, meaning he is trapped in the German league.
Throughout his career, Tolkin never made it to the big league, the LEC. While other German players like BrokenBlade, PowerofEvil, Upset or Amazing succeeded in jumping to the “big teams”, played in the USA, or even flew to the Worlds, Tolkin never managed that leap. However, he seems to have long accepted this and has fun considering himself the “CEO of the Playoffs”.
In December 2020, he ended his professional career after 2 years with “mousesports”. The YouTube video of his farewell is the most successful of his career (via youtube).
How is it with the jump to the LEC? The problem for someone like Tolkin, who plays successfully in lower leagues, is the extremely young average age of professional players in LoL: Players typically enter the professional leagues at 18, 19, or 20. For those who haven’t made the jump by then, the window is essentially closed. Especially since many players start considering retirement from the professional scene at 24 or 25. Faker, who still plays at 26, is already considered an exception.
Many young LoL players dream of a great career. Faker has already had his:
Tolkin starts as a caster and Twitch streamer
This is what he did afterwards: Tolkin remained connected to LoL: He began working at the German company “Freaks 4U Gaming”. The Berlin agency specializes in LoL and collaborates with Riot Games to organize the German Prime League. On December 22, 2022, Tolkin announced that he would start there as a “Content Creator/Influencer” (via twitter).
Tolkin was apparently ready to start a new chapter in his life and switch from player to caster. As a “color commentator”, he commented on games in the Prime League First Division in 2022.
Tolkin plays LoL on the side in a kind of pub team
This is the strange twist of fate: Although Tolkin closed the chapter of “professional LoL” for himself, he joined a team of German Twitch streamers in January 2021 to form a kind of hobby LoL team:
The team is called “No Need Orga”. Originally, the team was founded in 2013, lay dormant for a long time, until it was revived in September 2020.
The team consists of 5 of the most successful German Twitch streamers who also play “competitive LoL” in the 2nd division on the side.
They have no coach and very few structures – almost like a pub team.
Tolkin did not expect the success:
This team, which actually played without great ambition, succeeded in 2022 against all odds in winning the 2nd division in Germany and is now playing, in September 2022, for promotion to the 1st division.
This shows a successful backdoor play; NNO is now known for this way of playing LoL:
Tolkin’s team is so popular with fans in 2022 that the final of the 2nd division reached many more viewers than the final of the 1st division.
Tolkin has to resign because he made it to the relegation
This is the consequence for Tolkin: Tolkin had to leave his job at Freaks 4U on September 1, 2022. Riot’s rules do not allow him to be an employee of a company that works with Riot Games and play in Division 1 at the same time.

The influx for WoW: WotLK Classic is huge. So big that there are long queues and hardly anyone can play.
The pre-patch for Wrath of the Lich King Classic has been live for several days now and finally allows the creation and leveling of Death Knights before moving to Northrend with the launch at the end of the month. However, not everyone who wants to play can do so – the demand is gigantic and there are queues that last almost half a day.
What’s going on with WoW Classic? In WoW Classic, the pre-patch 3.0 is currently live, leading up to the expansion “Wrath of the Lich King”. WotLK is considered the most popular expansion of World of Warcraft and accordingly attracts many players.
However, a problem has developed in WoW Classic, as the community tends to want to play only on a fraction of the available realms. In each region, almost everyone is gathered on the largest realms or has migrated to the “Fresh Start” servers, where everyone starts from scratch.
This currently leads to queues of up to 10 hours in the afternoon and evening – depending on the realm. So if someone wants to play WoW for an hour after work, they probably have to start their PC and log in before work or school.
Wait times like this are often the norm right now.
On other realms, the problems are less severe, with queues of 10-30 minutes to be expected.
So can you not play at all? Yes, it is possible. However, in many cases, WoW fans will have to choose a realm that is less populated, which likely cannot be a long-term solution. After all, hardly anyone wants to give up their characters or switch to a realm where the faction balance is completely out of whack.
Another concern is that you might switch to a realm that will be “dead” after a few weeks. After all, both Burning Crusade and Vanilla Classic have shown that the player base consolidates on a few realms and underpopulated realms tend to die out rather than become healthier after some time.
The real strain is yet to come: Even though the influx is already massive, the real problem seems to be just around the corner. The launch at the end of September is likely to be a big incentive for many old hands and newcomers to give WoW Classic a try.
It is to be expected that the queues on launch day will be even larger – and there does not seem to be an immediate solution to the problem.
Are you also annoyed by the long queues? What do you think Blizzard could do to solve the issue?

The WoW streamer Zack, better known as “Asmongold”, is the largest streamer in the MMORPG sector and co-founder of the organization “OTK” (One True King). Now, the Twitch star demonstrates how one should definitely not unpack their expensive gaming PC.
This is behind the action: At the beginning of August, OTK announced that they wanted to launch the “best PCs in the universe” together with the friendly streamer Charlie “Cr1TiKaL” White. However, the project named “Starforge Systems” received a lot of criticism beforehand.
Now Asmongold has received his PC from Starforge Systems and opened it live on stream on September 1. However, the unboxing was so chaotic that many viewers’ hearts raced.
The most terrifying PC unboxing ever
This is how chaotic the unboxing went: First, Asmongold cut the sealing tape on the box with scissors, while viewers criticized him for his technique. The streamer assured, however, that he had never cut himself.
Then he tried to gently let the PC slide out of the packaging – by simply tipping the box over on his gaming chair. Concerned viewers advised him to put the box on the floor and cut it open instead.
Asmongold took the advice of his viewers but chose a huge machete to cut it open and began hacking at the sides of the box. In the process, he not only almost cut his desk chair, fans had also somewhat justified worries about his hands:
this part made me heartbeat sooo fast you don’t even know 😳 where not to put your hands while unboxing with a machete lol….asmongold be safe!! pic.twitter.com/ZPeewadcSG
A viewer described the action as the “most terrifying PC unboxing” they had ever seen. At the same time, others added that it was also the most entertaining one.
If you are up for some thrills, you can check out the probably most chaotic unboxing of all time here. If you don’t want to look at that at all, you can rest assured: Asmongold somehow manages to free the PC from its box without bloodshed or wreckage.

Here you can see the video of the unboxing. Already at minute 02:30 the machete action begins.
Reactions somewhere between admiration and mockery
This is how the action was received: The unboxing was not only shared on Asmongold’s YouTube channel, but also Starforge Systems shared a clip on Twitter, with the explicit warning not to try this at home.
While some viewers mainly talked about how nervous they were while watching, others admired the dedication with which Asmongold plays his role:
I have never seen anyone in my life so intentionally silly yet clever. This guy knows exactly what he’s doing and loves to cater to his audience’s expectations. I love you damn much, Zack.
Others mocked that they had never seen so much physical activity from Asmongold and called for him to be sent more packages. His technique was also criticized: one would expect a better handling of a blade from an MMORPG player.
On Twitter, a user demanded that the crazy action be offered as a service: when purchasing the most expensive Starforge PC, Asmongold should personally come by to unpack it with the most impractical and dangerous tool in the house.
Asmongold himself has now realized that a machete is not the appropriate tool for opening a new PC – next time he wants to use a chainsaw (via Twitter).
Asmongold is regarded by many as the WoW streamer par excellence and embodies the stereotype of the typical gaming nerd: long hair, messy room, questionable hygiene, and terrible nutrition. Many of his viewers can probably identify with that. A girlfriend doesn’t really fit into the picture. Therefore, a photo of Asmongold wearing a shirt from his ex recently caused excitement.
In Destiny 2, players can pre-order the upcoming DLC “Lightfall” for 100 € and benefit from the new Exo weapon “Silverstorm”. However, players compare it to one of the most broken weapons in the history of the loot shooter,as it causes issues.
Broken and locked again: The Silverstorm is a new exotic auto rifle from Season 18 with cool features. It can fire a homing mini-rocket if you land enough hits on your enemies. Additionally, the weapon generates up to three grenade launcher shots, which you can fire in a separate mode to deal high damage.
Basically, this is a one-man army weapon for 100 €, as you can currently only obtain the weapon if you pre-order the Deluxe Edition of Lightfall. However, this is currently causing a lot of annoyance. Many Guardians want to peacefully test their new guns, but Silverstorm has been deactivated again – and this is the second time in a season.
100 € Exo follows in the footsteps of an icon
Why is the weapon broken? Guardians in Destiny 2 always test each new weapon thoroughly. They have accidentally noticed that the new auto rifle has more advantages than initially assumed. These include:
Grenade launcher mode made you invulnerable
You could switch to first-person mode on the Sparrow
You could also transfer the grenade launcher mode to other auto rifles
Invulnerability, exploiting raid mechanics, or obliterating Guardians or bosses are already part of Telesto’s history. If you compare both weapons and their bugs now, you will find that they are not far from each other.

Guardians are joking on Reddit that the loot shooter will soon have a new perpetrator for chaos and bugs. This will annoy not only you but also the developers who will have to deal with it.
Special weapons bring special problems: Comparing both weapons that cause trouble, one thing becomes clear: They stand out from the standard guns.
They either fire special projectiles, have different firing modes, or complicated mechanics. All of this combined creates a delicate mix that tends to break systems. In Destiny 1, Exo weapons were already considered special if only one striking feature was present. Now, as the loot shooter hosts many exotics in its list, it becomes difficult to develop Exos that stand out from the already known examples.
Bungie will still bring more Exos to the market, and they are likely to be even crazier than their predecessors. Hopefully with fewer issues.
What do you think about the renewed ban of the weapon? Do you feel sorry for the players who paid 100 €? Or are you amused by the spectacle that the new gun will still provide? Let us know in the comments!
We also introduced you to a special weapon that can obliterate any boss in a fair way:
