At 1:44 PM, the first supporter, Masterflo3004, speaks up: He is looking forward to ‘Entity streaming’ and says: The financial milestone is already big, but he finds the ‘technical milestones’ more important.
At 1:57 PM, pragmatic user BSchäfer chimes in: “I check in every 6-8 weeks, play 15-20 hours and then leave it again. I like it.”
The first argument arises around 2:14 PM: HorstHermann asks: “Where the money flows everywhere” – the current state of development does not match the funds used.
7 minutes later, chuech contradicts: “Look at the business figures. It states where every dollar flows, currently all into development.”
“More fun with Star Citizen than with any other game”
Around 2:39 PM, ATix says that for him Star Citizen is still a dream. But he is also willing to invest in this dream. So far, it has been worth every cent to him – he enjoys the community and the hype that Star Citizen brings him.
At 3:28 PM, user johnnyD gripes: That’s a “sunk cost fallacy” – He means: Whoever invested in Star Citizen has already lost so much money that he now has to hope that it turns out well. No one wants to justify to themselves how much money they have wasted.

The radical Islamic Taliban currently rule Afghanistan. As a governing power, the terrorist organization now wants to introduce new regulations, including bans on video games such as PUBG, but under partially bizarre reasons.
Which group is it about? The Taliban have been operating for many years, primarily in and around Afghanistan, where they were in power from 1996 to 2001. The group consists of radical Islamic followers who want to impose Sharia law.
After a long war in Afghanistan, the Taliban were able to seize power again in August 2021. As a result, they allegedly executed over 100 employees of the former government extrajudicially, as reported by Spiegel.
The Taliban are also said to have been responsible for various atrocities, including beheadings, sometimes on camera. Now the group is passing new laws in Afghanistan and is banning the popular shooter PUBG among other things.
Why is PUBG being banned? According to the South Asia Index, on Twitter, one of the reasons for the ban is the “promotion of violence” in PUBG. The game was previously particularly popular in its mobile variant in Afghanistan.
According to PC Gamer, at times over 100,000 young Afghans have played the mobile shooter simultaneously. As the news agency The Khaama Press explains, internet and telecommunications service providers now have 90 days to implement the bans.
Afghanistan is not the first country to ban PUBG. India blacklisted 118 apps in 2020, including PUBG. The mobile shooter is also banned in Pakistan.

CoD Warzone 2: Turn off the TV and eat quietly – Because smacking can kill you
With Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, the shooter series receives many new features. Besides the new map Al Mazrah, the revamped gunsmith, or the new mode DMZ, a rather inconspicuous feature could become the real highlight: the Proximity Chat.
What is the Proximity Chat? It is a special form of voice chat that is firmly integrated into the game. Theoretically, you no longer need to use third-party software such as Teamspeak or Discord to communicate in Warzone.
The special thing about the Proximity Chat is that it scales dynamically with your character. This means that the voice chat becomes louder or quieter depending on how far away you are from your teammates. But beware, the Proximity Chat does not only work between team members – your opponents can hear you too.

This form of communication mimics real life. In real life, you also don’t understand each other quite as well when you’re not close together. Ideally, such a feature can make the gaming experience even more immersive. You get a better sense of distances and your surroundings.
What makes this feature so special?
Even in Modern Warfare 2019, there was a possibility to communicate via voice in the game. However, this form of communication was always limited to your own team; you could only hear your opponents’ words in the lobby or during the kill cam.
In Modern Warfare 2, this fundamentally changes. So if you’ve always wanted to throw out a few remarks while storming an enemy position, you will soon have the chance to do so.
Who is this feature intended for? The Proximity Chat is likely of particular interest to players who like to play with random teammates in Warzone. This feature significantly simplifies communication. If you have access to the Beta, you can try out the feature yourself.
However, if you often play with a fixed team, you probably already use programs such as Discord. But even then, you can use the new feature to have a bit of fun.
Proximity Chat has great potential – but also raises concerns
When the first streamers and content creators discovered that Proximity Chat was included in MW2 during the Modern Warfare Next event, the hype was enormous.
No wonder, as human interaction always leads to exciting or funny moments. You can already imagine how opponents will react when a player suddenly takes down an entire team.

But some fans are also worried. As you can see in the video, your opponents are able to overhear your communication. While discussing your strategy with your team, enemies could overhear it and prepare optimally for your push.
It could get tricky for you if you forget that you have activated the feature. It could quickly happen that background noise reveals your position. So be particularly careful when the TV is on in the background. The same applies if you like to munch on snacks while gaming. A reach into the crinkly chip bag could be responsible for your next visit to the Gulag.
There are also concerns among streamers: Some fear that stream snipers will try to exploit the new feature. Just imagine them following streamers and playing music that is copyrighted – or saying things that violate the terms of service of the streaming platforms. Similar things have already happened in PUBG or H1Z1, both battle royale games that feature a proximity chat.
But here is the good news: If you don’t want to use the new feature, you can easily deactivate it in the options.

AI creates puzzle dating game on Steam – It has exactly the problems you are thinking of
Artificial intelligences are now also creating entire games. The first of its kind is “This Girl Does Not Exist” – and it raises some questions.
Just a while ago we reported that artificial intelligences (AI) are currently experiencing a huge boom because they can suddenly create quite impressive images.
One no longer has to do anything more than feed the AI “Midjourney” with a few keywords and wait a bit while the AI creates images that are sometimes so impressive that they even win art competitions. At first glance, it is no longer recognizable for most whether the image was created by a human or an AI.
But now the first games are also emerging, the content of which was completely created by AI: This Girl Does Not Exist.
What kind of game is this? “This Girl Does Not Exist” is a puzzle game – in the truest sense of the word. Although the game is also marketed as a “dating game”, anyone who has ever played a visual novel might feel mildly insulted by this description.
The catch with “This Girl Does Not Exist”: It is almost entirely created by artificial intelligence. All graphical details, such as the images of the women that were disassembled into puzzles, as well as the few voice-over lines and the story, were created with artificial intelligence.
How does the game play? “This Girl Does Not Exist” is not a great success so far. With only one review – and that is negative – the game is certainly not a blockbuster. It is fairly simple, offers only a few puzzles and 25 unlockable images.
However, it is not supposed to be a big gameplay monster, but simply a showcase of what artificial intelligence can create right now. Because both the images themselves as well as the “story” and the voice-over were created by artificial intelligence.
Most believe that AI changes how games are created.
Developers stick to the concept: The developer couple spoke with Kotaku magazine and explained that “This Girl Does Not Exist” has some initial difficulties. They tried to get streamers to play the puzzle game, but most requests were declined or completely ignored.
In one case, it was played, but received a lot of negative criticism from the streamer community chat. According to the developers, it was said that they were afraid that AI would endanger many jobs in the art industry.
Because if it is already possible to create images and entire game assets with just a few clicks by an AI, it is only a matter of time before people in these professions are completely displaced.
Anyone who wants to get an impression of “This Girl Does Not Exist” can do so for around 4 euros on Steam – but one should probably already like puzzles.

Pokémon GO: The Fashion Week brings you Garstella, new costumes & plenty of Shinys
In Pokémon GO the monsters will be showing off their style again starting Tuesday, as the Fashion Week event is approaching. In addition to two new Pokémon, there will also be some costumes and plenty of Shinys. We at MeinMMO will show you what spawns and bonuses to expect.
What event is it about? Just like last year, the monsters in Pokémon GO will prepare for their big runway show again this year. During the Fashion Week, you can find new costumed monsters in the game and look forward to a Pokémon debut.
Many Shinys will be featured as well. Here are the highlights you can expect during the event:
- Garstella and Aggrostella will be available in the game for the first time
- Digda, Digdri, Absol, and Toxiquak will appear in stylish looks
- Coifwaff celebrates its Shiny debut in the game
- Yveltal returns to raids and can be caught for the first time as a Shiny
When does the event run? Fashion Week in Pokémon GO starts on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at 10:00 AM local time and runs until October 3, 2022, at 8:00 PM local time.
These are the new Pokémon and costumes
During Fashion Week, two new Pokémon will debut in the game: Garstella and Aggrostella. You will also encounter Shiny-Coiffwaff and Shiny-Yveltal for the first time, as well as lots of costumed Pokémon.
In addition to monsters that were already available last year in costumes, such as Sheinux with a hat, Kussilla with a bow, Elezeba with a collar, or Glibunkel with a cap, this year four more Pokémon have dressed up. We will show you what they are and briefly introduce the new monsters below.
Garstella and Aggrostella
The newcomers during Fashion Week are Garstella and Aggrostella. Garstella is a Poison and Water-type Pokémon from Generation 7. It can evolve into Aggrostella. You can recognize this small monster by its purple body, sharp white teeth, and long blue-purple hair.
During the event, it will spawn in the wild, be found in level-3 raids, and hide in the event field research tasks. To secure Aggrostella, you need to evolve Garstella. You will need 50 candies for this.
The evolution has a very distinctive appearance. Just like Garstella, it has a small purple body with big eyes and sharp teeth. However, instead of long hair, it is now surrounded by huge blue tentacles that wrap protectively around its small body.
By the way, Aggrostella is already generating quite a buzz in the community. We have summarized why trainers are concerned that it could ruin the game.
Coiffwaff
A Pokémon that cannot be missing from the Fashion Week in Pokémon GO due to its various hairstyles is Coiffwaff. This monster from Generation 6 will also be catchable in its Shiny form for the first time in the game.
This form differs by having a dark fur and a light face. During the event, keep an eye out for it in the wild, in level-1 raids, and in research tasks. Since Coiffwaff has a total of 9 different forms that differ by their hairstyle, you can also secure various Shinys.

Yveltal
The legendary Dark and Flying Pokémon from Generation 6 returns to level-5 raids during Fashion Week. Yveltal boasts a high attack and good stamina, as well as solid defensive stats, making it one of the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
It also performs well in the Master League, which makes it particularly interesting for many players. Additionally, during Fashion Week, you will also be able to find the monster in its Shiny form for the first time in the game. You can recognize it by its red body and white wings.

In addition to the new monsters and Shinys, you can also encounter Digda and its evolution Digdri with a hat during the event. Furthermore, there will be an Absol with sunglasses for the first time, as well as a Toxiquak with a cap.

FIFA 23: Backup Codes for the Web App – Here you are ready for login issues
Today, the FIFA 23 Web App is being released. To be prepared for possible login issues, you can secure what’s called “backup codes” right now.
What kind of problems could arise? Many FIFA fans are waiting for the web app release, and this evening a lot of fans will likely want to jump into the app at once.
In past FIFA releases, this typically caused login issues at launch. It was nearly impossible to get into the web app due to the overwhelming demand. However, the main issue only followed during the actual login: Many players need to re-verify themselves to access their account in the web app.

These are backup codes: Backup codes are an alternative verification method that you can prepare in advance of the web app release. You can use these codes at launch if the email from EA arrives late.
Here’s how you get the codes:
- Log into your EA account. Here’s the login page (via EA.com).
- Select the small user icon at the top right of the screen.
- Now go to your settings.
- Select the “Security” section.
- Click on “View” next to “Backup Codes”.
- You will receive a verification code to your email address. This is not the correct code. You need it to display your backup codes.
- Enter the code in the input field of your EA account.
- You will now see a total of 6 personal codes that you can use for verification.
- Important: Do not leave these codes lying around, as they can be used for logging into your EA accounts.
With these codes, you are at least prepared in case there is a delay during the early access of the web app starting today. Time is a valuable resource that we need to allocate in our daily lives. You told us how much of it you spend gaming each week.
Here’s what it was about: In a survey we asked you how much time you spend gaming each week. After all, free time is precious and many of us have other hobbies alongside gaming, not to mention important things like school, work, friends, and family.
You let us know your answers to this question and the survey collected over 4,500 votes. Here’s what you told us.
These are the results: A total of 4,573 readers participated in the survey at the time of evaluation on September 20, 2022. The distribution of votes was as follows:
- 10 to 20 hours: 1,253 votes (27.39 %)
- 20 to 30 hours: 1,072 votes (23.44 %)
- More than 40 hours: 904 votes (19.77 %)
- 30 to 40 hours: 753 votes (16.46 %)
- Less than 10 hours: 591 votes (12.92 %)
The majority of you are likely “evening gamers” who spend some rounds online with your friends after work or a few hours in single-player.
However, it shouldn’t be too little because less than 10 hours weekly is only the case for a minority.
You used to game more
Here’s what the comments say: In the comment section under the survey, some of you mentioned in your posts that you used to play more than you do nowadays. The reasons for this are diverse. Some of the most cited reasons are the “RL commitments” like school and job. But family, with whom you spend your time (or who occupy the game consoles), is also a factor.
10-30 would be the correct answer. Since it fluctuates quite a bit. But I stated 20-30 for now. I game about 10 hours a week with a buddy alone. Alone really depends on how exhausting work was or if I have plans on the weekend.

A streamer criticizes gambling on Twitch, suddenly finds himself at the center of a shitstorm over sexual assaults and racism
Streamer Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo (27) criticized gambling on Twitch harshly. Tyler “Trainwreckstv” Niknam, known for his casino streams, shot back and made serious accusations against Mizkif. We at MeinMMO break it down for you.
Background: Mizkf, along with Imane “Pokimane” Anys (26), launched a call for Twitch to take action against gambling on the platform. The trigger was the scandal surrounding streamer ItsSliker, who had defrauded friends and viewers to finance his addiction.
Although ItsSliker presumably lost the money betting on sports, gambling quickly became the focal point of the criticism. On Twitch, this mainly falls under the category of “Slots.” Internet personalities are therefore calling for the category to be banned or for no advertising to be shown there.
Gambling streamers do not want to be made scapegoats
Why there is criticism: Mizkif and Pokimane’s action received a lot of support, but criticism also quickly arose. Notably Trainwreck, who had been mentioned by Mizkif multiple times in connection with the demanded ban, saw himself as a scapegoat.
According to Trainwreck, casino streams should not be held accountable for the mistakes of one individual. The streamer believes the real problems lie elsewhere.
The mood heated up after MMORPG streamer Zack “Asmongold” got involved. He called for Sliker’s ban and referred to it as a disgrace for Twitch.
Trainwreck then accused Asmongold of exploiting the Sliker situation to pursue an agenda against him, Trainwreck. It quickly became personal: “We both know deep down why the insecure little man is doing this,” Trainwreck snapped, presumably a jab at Mizkif.
In a now-deleted tweet, Mizkif stated that Trainwreck should have been banned years ago in connection with “Jolt Coin,” a cryptocurrency with which Trainwreck had been associated in 2017.
Trainwreck responded, asking if Mizkif would now send others to silence him, just as he had supposedly done “to cover up all these sexual assaults.”
Mizkif is said to have covered up a friend’s sexual assaults
This case is presumably about: In 2021, streamer Adrianah Lee accused streamer “CrazySlick,” also known as Slick. He allegedly stalked her at a birthday party and took advantage of her intoxicated state to touch her on the neck and chest (via TwitLonger).
However, Slick stated that he merely wanted to check her pulse to ensure Adrianah was okay.
The incident had comparatively little impact at the time. Mizkif and his then-girlfriend Maya, with whom Slick lived, decided not to kick him out of the house. Instead, Slick was to receive help and change his behavior.
More details about the incident have since emerged: Adrianah accused Mizkif and Maya of downplaying the situation. The two allegedly also pressured her to withhold certain information (via Twitter).
Slick himself denied the allegations of Adrianah having inappropriately touched her. However, the post in which he announced that he would hire a lawyer is no longer available on his Twitter account, and there has been no further activity from him.

Mizkif is concerned about his friend Slick.
What does Mizkif say about it all? Since the allegations against Slick and himself came to light, Mizkif has not been live. However, he has been active in various Twitch chats and reported there about a new twist in the case.
In his offline chat, Mizkif reported that Slick is missing and no one knows where he is. Slick had sent some farewell messages and has not been heard from since. The police have already been informed (via dexerto).
Update 21.09.2022, 10:15: Mizkif has since announced that Slick has been found and is safe. However, Slick’s behavior is inexcusable. Therefore, Mizkif has asked him to leave the shared home as soon as possible (via TwitLonger).
Controversial YouTuber weighs in with further accusations
Who is it about? Former Twitch streamer Paul “Ice Poseidon” Denino is himself a controversial internet personality. Until his permanent ban, he was mainly known for his IRL streams. His community is considered extremely toxic.
How does he relate to Mizkif? Mizkif was once Ice Poseidon’s cameraman, was part of his inner circle, and became big through him. However, today the two have barely any contact, according to Ice Poseidon.
What does he accuse Mizkif of? Ice Poseidon released a series of screenshots on Twitter purporting to show private conversations with Mizkif from 2018 and 2019. In them, Mizkif apparently uses racist and homophobic insults.
The expressions are either directed at Ice Poseidon or refer to individuals who were apparently around Mizkif at the time the messages were written. Ice Poseidon captioned the post: “Mizkif, I brought you into this world, now I take you out.”
As of the time this article is being written, Mizkif has not yet commented on the accusations of making racist and homophobic remarks. In his last tweet, he stated that he is working with his team to compensate the victims of Sliker (via Twitter).
Update 21.09.2022, 10:15: In a statement that Mizkif published on Twitter on 21.09., he addressed the “reprehensible” statements he made. He stated that he said these things to appear funny and cool among his friends.
What he said cannot be changed; however, Mizkif is proud of how much he has grown in these 4 years. The streamer also admitted that there is still room for improvement (via TwitLonger).
In the German Twitch sphere, gambling in streams is currently being debated heatedly. Triggering this was a show by ZDF satirist Jan Böhmermann in which Twitch streamers were criticized for promoting gambling in games, such as in the form of loot boxes.
The largest German streamer, Marcel “MontanaBlack” Eris, who was the subject of Böhmermann’s parody, says he has a clean slate.

Twitch bans gambling sites after major streamers threaten protest
After a scandal involving hundreds of thousands of euros, there is a huge discussion on Twitch about gambling on the platform. Streamers like Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo and Imane “Pokimane” Anys threatened to strike. Now the provider is reacting and is restricting what streamers can show.
Much has happened on Twitch in recent days:
- The slots category has been part of Twitch for a while and has been controversial ever since. Here, one-armed bandits and other gambling games are shown.
- A Twitch streamer succumbed to his addiction and defrauded fans and friends of €200,000 – The start of the current discussion.
- Some of the biggest streamers in the world then planned a protest strike. They advocated for gambling to be banned from Twitch. With success, it seems.
Twitch reacted to the controversy with a post, in which new rules are set out to better regulate gambling on the platform.
This is what Twitch says about it now: In a statement, Twitch explains that there are already rules for gambling, but some streamers simply disregard them. This is what they want to prevent now.
From October 18, new rules will apply, which will completely ban certain websites on the platform. In the message on Twitter, it says:
We will update our rules on October 18 to prohibit the streaming of gambling sites that show slots, roulette, or dice games that are not licensed in the United States or other jurisdictions with adequate consumer protection.
Twitch lists a number of banned sites and reserves the right to add more later. However, content such as sports betting, “fantasy sports”, and poker remains generally allowed. Gambling will therefore not disappear completely, but will at least be significantly more restricted.
Gambling has not always been a topic on Twitch. The first major streamers were successful in other ways:

Which countries Twitch exactly refers to with the other jurisdictions and how important, for example, German laws are for the rules cannot yet be said. However, gambling on Twitch is also a major issue here.

Both MontanaBlack and Knossi have now distanced themselves from the content, and with the new rules, it is likely to become more difficult for other streamers to use gambling as a main content.
However, the fact that this is not necessary for growth and reach is also shown by a new, rising Twitch star. The German streamer Fibii has quickly become one of the largest female streamers in the German area:

WoW: Wrath of the Lich King Classic starts next week – Will you play it?
The probably most popular expansion of WoW, Wrath of the Lich King, is returning soon in all its Classic glory. Will you play WotLK again?
This is WotLK: The second expansion of the popular MMORPG was originally released on November 13, 2008, and was eagerly awaited by Warcraft fans. So much so that long lines formed outside many stores as people wanted to get their copies of the expansion as quickly as possible.
Next week, on September 27, 2022, the king returns, and many fans will journey to the north of Azeroth once again to experience a bit of the “way it was”.

However, in the Classic version of WotLK, not everything will be exactly as it was in the original version. There are adjustments, and some features have been taken from Retail. These include, for example:

Dracthyr Callers in WoW Dragonflight: Nothing Half and Nothing Whole
The new class in World of Warcraft is neither here nor there – at least when it comes to its range. And that could become a problem.
The biggest feature of the upcoming WoW expansion Dragonflight is the Dracthyr Evokers. This is a new race, but above all a new class. As dragons, the Dracthyr have a DPS and a healer specialization and can deal significant damage to enemies or actively heal allies. However, the Dracthyr have a considerable problem, which, while interesting on paper, could lead to difficulties in raids and dungeons: a significantly reduced range.
Dracthyr have medium range: Unlike all other classes in the game, Dracthyr cannot be clearly classified as melee or ranged. For most abilities, they have a range of just under 25 meters – the only exceptions are their various breath attacks and movement abilities.

What is the problem with that? The difficulty here is that Dracthyr cannot be classically categorized as ranged or melee.
Especially in raids, it often occurs that melee players should “cuddle” at one position and ranged players at another position. That seems to be simply impossible with the Evokers. Because when ranged players are at the maximum of the “normal” ranged fighter at 40 meters, then they cannot reach the melee players as healers and cannot deal damage at range.
Evokers need to perform a balancing act here and either frequently switch their position between melee and ranged or simply get their own group that gathers separately.
How big is the disadvantage? The disadvantage compared to other ranged players becomes clear when considering the ranges that other classes can cover. Because it is not only the positioning in the event of raid bosses with fixed positioning that is a problem, but also the reduced range in fights where players are standing far apart. Because while a Holy Priest might easily have three players in range at different corners of the room, an Evoker might not have any of those players in range.
Or to make the area coverage comparison clearer:
- A priest with a range of 40 meters covers a total of 5,020 m² of area where he can heal characters.
- An Evoker with a range of 25 meters covers only 1,960 m² of area where he can heal characters.
The colleagues from wowhead have published an illustrative graphic that shows how big the differences in range are:
The dark green area shows the range of most healing and damage abilities of the Evokers, the orange area the range of all other ranged players. The red circle indicates the 50-meter line, the maximum range for the two breath attacks of the Evokers.
In boss fights with widely spread players, Evokers are therefore likely to be unsuitable as “group healers” and are likely to be assigned to melee players, who traditionally stand closer together.
With the current design of the Dracthyr Evokers, Blizzard has created an additional challenge that bosses now have to be designed around. Because the fact that Dracthyr will need “special treatment” in every boss fight is unlikely to be in the interests of the raid leader.

Head of LoL team Eintracht Spandau gives serious interview on Twitch – annoys moderator until he cuts off
Maximilian “HandOfBlood” Knabe, a Twitch streamer and YouTuber, conducted a memorable interview at SPOBIS. At Europe’s largest sports business event, he introduced himself as “Mr. Knabe”, the head of the LoL team Eintracht Spandau. He was playing a role and he took it very seriously. After 20 minutes, the moderator had enough.
Eintracht Spandau is a phenomenon in the e-sports scene of League of Legends. With the popular influencer HandOfBlood as the figurehead, the club managed to build a large fan base in no time.
The strategy behind it: Don’t just be a club, be an entertainment machine.
HandOfBlood loves to slip into crazy roles in his YouTube videos, dresses up in suitable costumes, and often exceeds the pain threshold – his own, when the costumes are too crazy, and his viewers’, when he drinks cow’s milk as a cat.
The latest exceeded pain threshold is that of Alex Schlüter, among others a moderator at the streaming service DAZN. He was HandOfBlood’s discussion partner.
However, the streamer stuck to his uncomfortable role of “President Knabe” – and saw it through to the end. Until Schlüter leaves the stage saying, “I would stop at this point”.

Moderator leaves the stage during President Interview
The panel at the “SPOBIS” fair dealt with the topic: “How to become one of the most well-known and popular sports presidents in the country within a year.” A serious professional topic with a serious moderator. However, the guest speaker had a different plan.
HandOfBlood did not miss the opportunity to appear as President Knabe. The streamer often takes on this role when he appears in connection with his LoL team Eintracht Spandau.
However, President Knabe is… peculiar. A parody. A serious guy who takes things out of context and expresses strong opinions – all with a humorous background.
Moderator Alex Schlüter apparently expected an engaging conversation about the scheduled topic. But it was supposed to go differently.
In the meantime, there is a video of the entire interview on the YouTube channel of Eintracht Spandau (via youtube.com). Here in the article you can find a summary of the action.
“Uli, if you see this”
It started off noticeably. President Knabe is not even properly seated when he shouts into the camera: “Uli, if you see this […] you wouldn’t have thought, would you? With your football club, you’ll soon be in the district league if it continues like this.” The reference to “the game against Augsburg” makes it clear he is speaking to Uli Hoeneß, former president of the football club Bayern Munich.
The moderator Schlüter is still fully engaged, joking along. Even when President Knabe said he and Hoeneß had smuggled “Nürnberger” out of prison, the moderator laughs along: “Let’s leave it at that.”
It continues in that rhythm. When asked what Eintracht Spandau actually is, Knabe responds with a monologue about the spelling of e-sport. The emphasis on the word is on the “E”, which is of course pronounced in German.
Schlüter still wishes for an answer to his question and said, “Somehow I didn’t get it.” Knabe replied with a cheeky, “I figured as much.”
Transfers, Jersey Sponsors, Half-Time Songs
Then, there actually are some appropriate answers. But it is not about Eintracht, but about e-sports as a serious sport.
There, the president immediately introduced a new definition: the so-called A-sport – old sport or “sport by old definition”. This refers to established sports such as football or basketball. As an e-sports club, one does not want to be confused with A-sport clubs.
Still cheerfully and with a grin, Schlüter asks the next question: “What is the secret recipe of Eintracht Spandau?” It still seems as though the moderator actually expects serious answers. But not with President Knabe.
The great A-sport clubs lead by example, right? I always say: Play down the boot nicely, concentrate on what you can do – they can write that down – transfers, jersey sponsors, half-time song. We at Eintracht do nothing else for several decades. Great name, great coat of arms, anthem, that’s it.
Now the moderator shows the first signs that the interview is getting on his nerves. Because Alex Schlüter continues to try to squeeze proper answers from the parody sitting next to him. But a long pause before the next question speaks volumes.
Schlüter doubts Knabe’s statements and probes further – the explained recipe is not enough to win e-sports fans over to his side. In the question, the moderator refers to Eintracht Spandau as the “St. Pauli” of e-sports. A perfect setup for President Knabe:
Ugh, I can’t hear that anymore. Some dude said that to the press once, now it’s being “copy-pasted”. I don’t understand the comparison – St. Pauli is in Hamburg, Spandau is in Spandau. […] And fans like those from St. Pauli don’t want to have either. They don’t even buy VIP tickets or anything like that. […] The most appropriate way, and that’s how I justify it – Uli, there he is again, he once helped them out […] the savior games of St. Pauli […] since then he is the absolute messiah there. And I am the messiah of Eintracht Spandau. Next question!
“Uh… fictional? We’re not fictional”
Now comes the question where it slowly gets out of hand. Because moderator Schlüter wants to talk with the fictional character President Knabe about fictional things surrounding Eintracht Spandau. So also about the invented role of President Knabe.
The interesting term “referential sports satire” is mentioned, and Schlüter wants to know something about content production and storytelling surrounding Eintracht Spandau.
Knabe responds: “Uh… fictional? We’re not fictional. The only fictional things are our competitors’ title hopes.”
Schlüter probes further, mentions the numbers reached on YouTube, and wants to know something about the secret of success. Knabe replies: “The answer is before you. It’s mostly because of me. […] The numbers you have written down don’t matter to me that much. […] As long as we are ahead of our rivals, the losers from BIG.”
The exchange continues like this for a few minutes. At some point, the first “Mr. Knabe, are you serious?” comes from the moderator. When the president lightly laughs off FIFA as a “basis democratic organization” and connects “Franz” with an envelope, it was also too much for moderator Schlüter.
After that, the moderator shifted the topic to sponsors, and President Knabe concluded that security was needed. Excitement in sports does not arise from uncertainty about who wins. For example, in football: Nothing has changed for years, and the same clubs keep winning.

Schlüter makes one last attempt to take something serious away from the conversation. He asks if fans want security, is that the reason why only a third of Eintracht Spandau’s budget goes into sports development. Knabe replies:
[…] As if a third of our budget only goes into sports and bla, so don’t come at me with that. We are first season, we became vice-champions and qualified for the Europa League. […] Whether a Hans Wurst was entertained in the end is irrelevant to me. […] You need trophies in the cupboard, otherwise the sponsors wouldn’t be involved. Right now with us, it’s like: Federal Youth Games for adults – we’ve just finished shot putting, broke the 3-meter mark, and now we get a nice orange slice from Mom. That’s where we are right now.
Completely professionally and with only a minimal visible shake of his head, moderator Alex Schlüter ends the interview at this point: “Mr. Knabe, I would stop at this point”. A yelling President Knabe defiantly calls after him: “Get lost!”.
Then Knabe finishes the panel alone. In his last moments, he gives more insight than in the whole 15 minutes prior and explains that his entertainment product doesn’t end with the conclusion of a match, but only really begins afterwards.
But then the role kicks back in, and in the end, President Knabe trivializes his statements again. What a performance.
In the end, however, there was a reconciliation between the two. On Twitter, President Knabe and moderator Schlüter appeared together in a photo:

FIFA 23 lacks a demo – How can you play it early?
Those looking for a FIFA 23 demo won’t find one at the moment, and there’s no expectation of a trial version. How can you play FIFA 23 before the official release?
Where is the FIFA 23 demo? For years, players were accustomed to a free demo being released for FIFA before the game itself came out. Players could previously play early matches, test selected teams, and get a feel for the new features of the game.
However, in 2020 EA broke this tradition and didn’t release a demo version for FIFA 21. The following year, there was no demo for FIFA 22 either.
Accordingly, there is no longer any expectation of a demo before the release of FIFA 23. Those who wish to test the game beforehand will have to look for other options, which usually come at a cost.
How to play FIFA 23 before release on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC?
As of now, there are only a few ways to access FIFA 23 before the release.
The first of these was the beta phases for FIFA 23, which have now ended. So, that option is no longer available.

The Nightfall: The Fire Trial is the strike:

Zavala sends you on “Operation Piccolo” to eliminate Thaviks, the fallen marauder from the House of Dusk. However, he won’t make it easy for you, as it crackles with Arc in his small arena and he knows no mercy.
This is the Nightfall weapon of this week: As a reward for your run, you’ll always receive a special Nightfall weapon. In Season 18, Bungie has some good, old options to offer.

German MMORPG legend receives sound finally 25 years after release
Tibia is one of the oldest MMORPGs ever. Now, the developers announced a new feature that is typically a standard in most games: sound.
What kind of MMORPG is this? Tibia is an online role-playing game developed by the studio CipSoft from Regensburg. It was released in 1997, and early 2022 marked its 25th anniversary.
To this day, the game still has a loyal player base – primarily abroad. Among others, there are plenty of Tibia fans in Brazil, Venezuela, Poland, Sweden, and Mexico. Brazil was described by Stephan Vogler, one of the studio founders, in an interview with MeinMMO as by far the most important market for the game.
Now, 25 years after its release, fans of the game can certainly expect a remarkable change in gameplay – no matter where they come from. Because soon, for the first time, sound will resonate in Tibia.
Tibia speaks of ‘quite a step that is worth it’
What kind of update is this? The sound update is supposed to be available from Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
In a statement on the Tibia homepage, the community management team explains what players can expect. The entire game is set to be enriched with sound. Players are to discover “a new and fresh side of a world they know inside and out.”
The team says the new soundscapes are indeed “quite a step, but a step that is worth it.” Players are meant to see the new sounds as an adventure of their own that they can uncover.
At the same time, the system is also supposed to be customizable: “For us, it was important to give you the choice, to give you different options to shape your own sound experience, to decide which sounds you want to hear and which you might want to mute,” the announcement states (via tibia.com).
Both music and sound effects can also be muted again if one is not a fan of them.
What effects and sounds are being added will be announced shortly before the release. However, it is already clear that it will not involve voice lines and spoken dialogues – the team explained this earlier on the Tibia forum (via tibia.com). A voice chat will not be included either.
However, the Tibia team announced a premiere for September 26 on YouTube: There, the new Tibia anthem, which is supposed to embody 25 years of gaming history, will be heard for the first time.

What do players say? In the Tibia forum, players are already discussing the announcement, and they seem particularly curious about what effect the new element will have on the gaming experience.
They are curious about new music, boss sounds, or the “Chomp” sound when consuming something. It is sometimes about small details: “I can hardly wait to hear the sounds of eating, especially the ‘smacking’ of cheese,” writes the user “Kleyder Assesin.”

However, some also emphasize that they will probably turn off the feature after the first listen: “I can’t believe it’s actually here and I can hardly wait to try it,” writes user “Lord Andarer Mensch” (via Tibia Forum): “Even though I belong to those who think I will turn it off at some point, I believe it will be great for new and occasional players to fall in love with the game.”

GeForce RTX 4080 and 4090 presented – the fastest graphics card costs almost 2000 euros
Nvidia has introduced its new graphics card series, the RTX 4000, in its stream. MeinMMO explains what you can expect from the new graphics cards.
With the GeForce RTX 4000 and the Radeon RX 7000, gamers are expecting two major announcements in gaming this year. After AMD had already presented its new Ryzen 7000 processors in detail, Nvidia has now officially introduced its new generation of graphics cards.
The most important points at a glance:
- The RTX 4090 will be Nvidia’s new flagship. The graphics card is expected to be released on October 12, 2022, and should officially cost 1949 euros.
- The RTX 4080 is the second graphics card presented and aims for performance below the RTX 4090. Prices start at 1099 euros and are well above the 3080 (729 euros).
- Availability is still unknown. Prices are significantly higher compared to the RTX 3000.
- The RTX 4080 will be available directly at release with either 12 GB or 16 GB of video memory.
- Compared to the RTX 3000, the RTX 4090 and 4080 are expected to deliver double the performance.

RTX 4090 – This is Nvidia’s new flagship
What exactly does the RTX offer? With the RTX 4090, Nvidia has introduced its fastest graphics card. Currently, the RTX 3090 Ti is the fastest graphics card available for gamers. However, the RTX 4090 is expected to offer up to double the performance of the RTX 3090 Ti, depending on the game. The RTX 4090 comes equipped with 24 GB of video memory.
When will the RTX 4090 be released? The graphics card is officially expected to be released on October 12, 2022.
What will the RTX 4090 cost? The recommended retail price for the RTX 4000 is set at 1949 euros. According to Nvidia, there will also be a Founders Edition. Prices for custom models from other manufacturers will be slightly higher, with expectations of prices above 2000 euros.
RTX 4080 costs 300 euros more than the 3080
What exactly does the RTX offer? With the RTX 4080, Nvidia has introduced a second graphics card. Depending on the game, the RTX 4080 is expected to deliver double the performance of the RTX 3080 Ti.
When will the RTX 4080 be released? The graphics card is officially expected to be released in November 2022. There is no official date yet.
What will the RTX 4000 cost? There will be two versions of the RTX 4080 available at launch.
- The RTX 4080 with 12 GB of video memory for 1099 euros.
- The RTX 4080 with 16 GB of video memory for 1469 euros.
Compared to the RTX 3080, prices are rising significantly. Nvidia previously requested a recommended retail price of 729 euros for the RTX 3080.
Will availability be as bad as with RTX 3000?
After the official release of the RTX 3000 generation, very few people were able to buy a GPU. Either the graphics cards were hardly available or far too expensive. Many had to pay thousands of euros on eBay for a single graphics card.
Prices for the current generation (RTX 3000 and RX 6000) have significantly fallen, and you can buy graphics cards close to the MSRP again. However, we cannot yet say how availability and prices will be for the RTX 4080 and 4090 from retailers. Nvidia is also being tight-lipped.

Player breaks world record in LoL – For the longest queue of all time
Anyone of you who has ever played League of Legends will probably have experienced it. The queue times for a game vary between a few seconds and several minutes. However, you have certainly never waited as long for a game as this player here.
Players often report getting stuck in long queues. This sometimes has something to do with the rank. If the rank is higher and you want a specific role, you may wait a long time.
The client may also be to blame and has a bug. This can prevent you from being assigned to an open lobby, and you end up waiting for ages. Various players have sometimes waited longer periods. However, if you are inactive for too long, the client usually logs you out automatically.
What is the world record in LoL now? Not so for the following player. He managed to be stuck in the queue for a whole 7 days, documenting it – 10,107 minutes.
So far, there have only been attempts to last 10,000 minutes, which were interrupted by automatic logout.
A Week in Queue in League of Legends
What has the player accomplished? The player “TFT Champion” from the Turkish LoL servers is a level 12 player. His last game was 4 months ago, and today he only played his first game (as of 20.09./via u.gg). He seems to be a very irregular player who only plays the fun modes of LoL.
This player has restarted League of Legends after months of break and queued for the fun mode “Ultimate Spellbook”. After 10,107 minutes, the player made a video. He endured that long to get over 10,000 minutes on the counter. That’s nearly 168 hours or 7 days.
The video shows that the queue time continues to advance; however, the player cannot leave the queue or the group. This is a bug that some LoL players have surely encountered before. Towards the end of the video, he closes the client to restart the game.

The LoL client often has bugs: It is not uncommon for the League of Legends client to have some bugs. For years, players have noted that they experience endlessly long queue times.
The player “CheaBoo” waited at least 73 minutes in the queue for Summoner’s Rift with a friend 3 years ago (via Reddit), while the player “Kio” waited a whole 2,274:59 minutes for the “One for All” fun mode (via Reddit).
What’s the deal with the long queues? Long queues are quite common in League of Legends. If many players with different roles queue at the same time, a game can quickly be found, but if everyone plays the same role or no one wants to play, it takes significantly longer.
If you’ve ever watched pro players in stream, you see something interesting. The queue times can be up to 20 minutes long. Streamers start queuing and play something else in the meantime.

Can anything be done about it? If you have a long queue time, you can try to leave the queue and re-enter. You will start from the beginning again, but this can rule out a potential bug.
If you can’t get out of the queue anymore, then restarting the client is the only option.
Some players can expect high queue times. In such a case, feel free to follow the pros and find a game to play alongside to keep your concentration high or to train your reflexes.

Destiny 2 is completely different today than it was 5 years ago – But there are some things Bungie has also neglected greatly
In Destiny 2 continuous changes have been taking place for a few years now. Bungie is increasingly relying on creative talents, also from the community, and therefore brings new accents into the game with each season. Many things have already changed positively in the last 5 years. But there are still some areas that Bungie has neglected too much until now.
Those who have remained loyal to Destiny 2 over the years may have already noticed the changes. Bungie has engaged more creative minds over many seasons, who have significantly influenced the game. And this has not only happened since the studio was bought by Sony.
- Destiny 2 has made the way of earning things more interesting.
- It has also ensured that the storytelling in the game has changed significantly.
- And it brought fresh air into dusty parts of the game, such as the ability classes.
Paul Tassi from Forbes believes that it is worthwhile for several reasons to pause and take a look at where the game stood in 2018 and where it is now in 2022. Especially how far it has come with the changes.
This is what has happened in Destiny 2 so far
Bungie organizes the different areas of Destiny 2 into purpose-driven teams.
- For example, there is a narrative team dedicated solely to the story.
- A sandbox team deals with the variety of abilities and possibilities of your Guardians in the game.
- And increasingly often, creative minds from the community also find their place at Bungie, setting strikingly cool accents.
Items are becoming cooler and more creative
Especially creative impulses are more often seen in the game. In the past seasons, not only special shaders but also really cool armor designs have found their way back into the game.
Bungie is exploring new textures, glows, patterns, and many other interesting concepts that have been well received by players so far.
Many of these are initially inconspicuous at first glance and therefore do not reveal their secret immediately. But all are quite unique, and more of them are coming.
- With the RGB shader “Photo Finish”, Guardians could equip a cool Razer RGB look in May 2022 just like their gaming PC.
- In Season 17, the new ornament sets were the highlight for the Guardians, because they became a glowing fortress of fire and steel.
- And in Season 18, the creepy shader “Scarlet Glow” from the Crucible at Rank 10 brings the red glow of your Guardian’s heart with bloody horror design to action.
Additionally, there are vehicles, such as the exotic Sparrow by Ben Platnick for the “Oryx’s Vow” raid called “Light Fuge”. It features a rotating exhaust tail.
All of these are ideas and creations that are increasingly designed by new talents, bringing fresh air into the game.
New locations are more visually appealing
Looking back at past seasons, it also becomes clear that the new locations in Destiny 2 have become better.
- Savathun’s Throne World made a delicate start.
- Then came the completely new environment design for the “Oryx’s Vow” raid.
- The dungeon “Duality” also impressed with fresh visuals and a new bell mechanic.
- In Season 18, Guardians are seen on huge Fallen pirate ships.
- And old locations continue to evolve, either by changing to fit the story or becoming new destinations during the seasons. Like currently the new cocktail bar of Spider in the Eliksni Quarter.
A look at Lightfall confirms this trend. The new city Neomuna seems to be the most ambitious project in Destiny 2 so far in terms of visuals.
The narrative has changed significantly
The narratives of Destiny 2 have also changed significantly within the framework of the seasonal stories.
The so-called Narrative Team is dedicated solely to the story of Destiny 2 and its connections. Since Season of the Hunt (Season 12), a change has been noticeable, as Bungie began to continue the story of Uldren Sov alias Crow.
- The storylines are more interesting than ever, with characters that are more fully developed.
- While there are still lore books to read, players now also receive multiple voice lines in the game, which Destiny 2 increasingly uses as a means to tell stories better. Especially for Guardians who do not want to look into the lore books.
- The last highlight was Season 17, when again a sad moment of one of the strongest characters in the game left many Guardians speechless.
However, Bungie does not only encourage players to reflect on personal approaches. The space shooter also does not shy away from interesting scientific parallels.
For example, while Beyond Light was about dark entropy, Witch Queen revolved around the paracausality defined by Destiny.
For the story of Lightfall, it is also rumored that Bungie may be hinting at string theory with the new ability “Strand.” However, this is currently just a speculation of the players.
PvP and Gambit remain a construction site
While significant changes are noticed in some areas of PvE, which most players are quite satisfied with, Bungie has not had such a good touch with PvP and Gambit.
- There is a lack of fresh air both in the Crucible and in Gambit.
- The returned Rift mode did not really convince players, nor did the new map that Bungie introduced with it.
- The next mode “Outbreak” was received better, but overall seemed a bit too ability-overloaded.
- And those who enjoy playing Gambit must settle for 4 maps and live with the fact that particles often glitch under the map.
Accordingly, Paul Tassi sees the most work likely in this department for Bungie.
The developer is still struggling with balancing for matchmaking as well as for weapons and abilities. Many things are still being tested. They are also testing a quit protection so that players do not simply leave a match out of frustration or other reasons.
Player wishes for PvP are not actually that big. Many players simply wish for a PvP mode that completely does without abilities and where they have to rely solely on their good gunplay. Or that Gambit could once again get some more variety by bringing back old Gambit maps.
The hope is therefore that Bungie can still catch up in these areas so that Guardians do not lose the fun of a good PvP match or Gambit, alongside the entertaining story part.

Players celebrate the new executions of Modern Warfare 2 – “They really do a good job”
The beta of Modern Warfare 2 provides a good insight into the new features and mechanics of the new Call of Duty. Many “Executions” are already included, which are the Finishing Moves. Players celebrate the new animations, even if some are quite brutal. MeinMMO shows you some moves and reactions.
Finishing Moves are the reward for tactically superior gameplay in Call of Duty. If you approach an opponent from behind without alerting them, the bill comes due for the unsuspecting enemy.
A quick press of the button and your operator begins the move, which is called “Execution” in Modern Warfare 2. A brutal scene follows, sending the opponent to respawn.
Each operator has their own individual executions. And even though you cannot customize the moves in the beta of Modern Warfare 2 yet, most operators already come with unique actions – which many in the community celebrate.

What can be seen in the video? You will get an execution from each of the 14 operators. There are even more in the game, as it also depends on the position of your opponent. Currently, each operator has 3 different executions for the following positions:
- Opponent standing or crouching
- Opponent lying on their stomach
- Opponent lying on their back
There are all sorts of moves, one more brutal and nasty than the other:
- Ghost taps an opponent from behind with a sniper. When they turn around, he fires – directly in the face.
- Kortaci slams an LMG onto the opponent’s back and fires a burst into the lying enemy.
- Nova first slices through the opponent’s knee with a knife before finishing it with 3 stabs to the chest.
One execution stands out and has already caused some memes and laughter. The Kortac operator Fender shoves his weapon where the sun never shines and relentlessly fires:
What are the reactions like? Overall positive. Whether under the tweets with short clips or the numerous compilations on YouTube – players are excited about the brutal animations. Fender’s execution often garners a “weird”, but that is pretty much it.

Somewhat there are wishes that the animations would be a bit cleaner. This already led to some curious scenes in CoD MW 2019. But in summary, it can be said: Players celebrate the executions of Modern Warfare 2.
How do I perform an execution? You need to be behind the opponent and execute the appropriate input:
- Controller: Hold the button for “melee” pressed
- Mouse & keyboard: Has its own key for executions
If the opponent is lying stomach down, you need to approach from their feet. An opponent lying on their back can be executed from the head end.

Pokémon GO could get new items and raids – find shows exciting content
Data miners found fresh content in the new update to Pokémon GO. The “Pokeminers” showcase some exciting features that could be coming in the future.
What kind of find is this? The APK version of the new update 0.249.0 for Pokémon GO contains some assets that could be coming to the game in the future. These are files that do not need to be active at the moment but are intended for future features.
Who found the data? The content was found by the Pokeminers, who have regularly and reliably published data about new content before it lands in the game.
However, it should be noted that this is a leak, not an official announcement from developer Niantic. These data may still change before they are used, or may not become active in the game.
Such leaks have often hinted at new features in the past. And the new assets do look quite interesting.
Data miners find data related to Raids for Pokémon GO
What was found: On reddit, the Pokeminers shared some graphics and overviews that indicate various features. This also includes a new development regarding Raids.
The data miners show a new type of “Raid Egg” called “Extended Raid”. What this exactly entails is still unclear – “extended” suggests some form of extended Raids.
Players in the comments suspect that this might be a new, updated version of the old “EX-Raids”. Those were Raids for which you needed a special invitation, which you could obtain by conquering certain Gyms.
Inside those were special monsters like Mewtwo. However, the EX-Raids always had a specific duration – and you had to be on-site before the Raids expired. They were removed in 2020.
Another player hopes that this might simply be longer Raids that could be beaten more easily with fewer players (via reddit).
Besides the Raid Egg, the data miners also found a new type of Raid item – namely a purple Raid Pass. What exactly this entails is still uncertain.
Players speculate: “I hope the purple pass is a weekly remote raid pass or a rechargeable remote raid pass, through walking or something,” suggests a user (via reddit). This would likely be a popular feature after the disappearance of passes from the now also removed weekly box.
Equally exciting: The Pokeminers also indicate in their listing of new features that there supposedly is a “Ready Raid” function within the data (via pokeminers.com). This raises hopes that it might be the long-awaited “start button” for Raids . Additionally, new “Raid Styles” appear to have been added, named “Triangle”, “Diamond”, and “Star”.
However, regarding all features: There is still no further information on this.
Another new item hinted
What else was found? In addition to the new Raid Pass, an item called “Other Evolution Stone A” was also found. Here, another evolution item in the style of a Sinnoh Stone, Metal Coat, or something similar could be conceivable.
Furthermore, the data miners found among other things:
- The new move for Litwick for Community Day
- “Catch Cards” for the Campfire app
- New boxes
- New badges, apparently for the release of Vivillon
- New costumes for Pokémon
- Several event badges
- A “Glow” effect for Pokémon
