In one of the best co-op games on Steam, you have to fling your teammates through the levels and it currently only costs €4.
What kind of game is this? Heave Ho (PC) is a co-op game from the indie developer studio “Le Cartel Studios”. The title, released back in 2019, can be experienced with up to four players in couch co-op and is playable on PC via Steam and on Nintendo Switch.
What kind of offer is this? Heave Ho is currently 60% off on Steam and costs only €3.90 instead of €9.75 until February 19, 2023.
What is the game about? In Heave Ho, you have to overcome various levels with your teammates and show coordination.
The playable characters consist of round bodies with long arms and comparatively large hands. Each level has a goal that you must reach as well as objects that you can grab with your long arms.
To reach the respective goal, you hold your teammates by the hands and form a sort of chain. One end of this chain holds onto the objects on the map, while the other end hangs in the air. In this position, you gain momentum and fling yourselves from object to object until you successfully land in the target area.
In Heave Ho, a lot of coordination and communication is required, because if you fall into the abyss or touch an obstacle, you find yourself back at the starting point. But it is precisely in those moments when communication fails and an attempt fails spectacularly that Heave Ho is the most fun.

Heave Ho Reveal Trailer
Is there a way to play Heave Ho online? Yes! Although Heave Ho does not have an internal multiplayer, the game can be played online via Steam’s Remote Play with friends. This also has the advantage that not every player has to own the game. Only the host needs a copy of the title.
Additionally, the developers of Heave Ho stated on Twitter that the game also runs with the third-party application Parsec. The program is intended to allow couch co-op games like Heave Ho to be streamed and played on a friend’s system via a link, similar to how Steam’s Remote Play works.
Players have a lot of fun playing Heave Ho with friends
How good is Heave Ho? Heave Ho is extremely well received on Steam. A strong 92% of just over 1,500 reviews are positive. The party game is extensively praised by users:
instasiv via Steam: “When my wife, a non-gamer, plays this game and laughs so much that she cries and begs to play it again, I know it’s a good game.”
DoubleDingus via Steam: “Wild couch co-op game to play with friends. It requires a high level of coordination and curiosity to play with physics. We had to laugh so hard during many matches. It’s more funny than frustrating.”
Psychoholiker via Steam: “Cool game, it’s so much fun!”
Brain Storm via Steam: “It’s not much fun alone unless you force yourself to play as quickly as possible and take unnecessary risks. With 2–4 people, it’s totally funny. Your hands will cramp because you’re probably pressing the buttons on your controller too hard.”
As with any game, there are also some criticism points with Heave Ho, but they are not very disturbing. Some players write that it is not fun alone or without friends. Since Heave Ho is a couch co-op game, it should be clear that it is primarily aimed at co-op gameplay.
Another criticism point is the standard price of €9.75. If that is too expensive, you save 60% with the offer. However, the biggest criticism is the lack of an internal online mode, as some players wish they could also play the game online with their friends.
If you are satisfied with Steam’s Remote Play or the third-party application Parsec, you can also experience Heave Ho online with friends.
About the new Trading Post in World of Warcraft (WoW) you can earn pets, transmog gear, and also mounts. 3 mounts that will soon be available in the Trading Post have now been found during data mining.
What are these finds? Data miners regularly scour the code of World of Warcraft to find upcoming changes. The latest finds include content that you will soon be able to find in the Trading Post. Everything you need to know about the new Trading Post.
The selection consists of epic transmog sets, individual transmog items, pets, and also mounts.
What kind of mount is this? Another cloud serpent for WoW, equipped with a saddle on its back. It shines in purple/pink. In the description it says: ‘Magenta cloud serpents are more affectionate than their cousins and are known to form close bonds with their riders.’
Cost: The mount is expected to cost 900 trader currencies at the Trading Post.
What kind of mount is this? With this turtle, you are apparently well equipped for battles. Its shell is equipped with a saddle and extra long spikes. You can find something that looks like small cannons with fuses on it.
In the description of the green turtle, it says: ‘Is the turtle too slow to chase your enemies? Just add cannons. Nothing can escape a cannon.’
Cost: The mount is said to cost 999 trader currencies at the Trading Post. However, this seems to be just a placeholder. It is suspected that it will be a monthly reward like Ash’adar.
What kind of mount is this? A colorful bird that appears similar to the cloud serpent in purple/pink colors. In the description it says: ‘Squawks’ older (and somewhat louder) brother seems to tolerate your presence. For now. You should probably find some crackers while you still can.’
Cost: The mount is said to cost 999 trader currencies at the Trading Post. However, this seems to be just a placeholder. It is suspected that it will be a monthly reward like Ash’adar.
Which of the mounts do you like best? Participate in our poll and vote on which mount you like the most.
You should consider: These finds were discovered during data mining. This means that they are already present in WoW’s code, but there is no guarantee that they will actually be released.
On the other hand, it is also quite possible that the mounts will soon be found in the rotation of rewards at the Trading Post, and you can secure them.
You are looking for a suitable app for Chat GPT on Android or iOS? We must warn you, as the apps are not developed by the official developers. Instead of an official app, there is at least one somewhat usable alternative that we can introduce to you.
ChatGPT is one of the most well-known artificial intelligences. Developed by OpenAI, the powerful AI is capable of answering almost all questions in writing.
It is not surprising that many users are looking for an easy way to use the popular chatbot directly on their mobile phones.
Everything you need to know about ChatGPT can be found in the following article:
Chat GPT – Apps for iOS and Android are often traps, scams, and always unofficial
What are all these apps? So far, there is no official app from ChatGPT. Instead, you will find plenty of apps in the Apple and Google App Store that bear “ChatGPT” in their name. Many developers take advantage of the high demand for the chatbot to find users.
The problem: Many of these fake ChatGPT apps are paid, and high fees or even permanent subscriptions are charged. However, ChatGPT is free in its basic version and should remain so.
Behind the high fees, in some cases, there is not even a scam: Anyone who wants to use ChatGPT professionally or commercially has to pay for an expensive business license. Some developers then get the money back from their customers.
No app is official; they are all third-party products. None of them is really recommendable, and the subscription fees are far too high for what the apps offer.
ChatGPT App for Android and iOS – When will the official app come?
Is there an app? No, so far there is no official app for ChatGPT from OpenAI. There are also no known plans for this to change. This applies to both Android and iOS. Nevertheless, there is an alternative for your mobile phone.
Getting a ChatGPT App Alternative on your phone
What alternative is available? Instead of an app, you can add ChatGPT to the home screen of your phone. However, note: You are creating a browser shortcut; it is not a real app:
On Android, open the website, then in Chrome, select the burger menu in the upper right and choose “Add to Home Screen.”
On iOS, select the “Share” icon on the website and add the website to your display by “Add to Home Screen” as well.
Although it is not a true substitute for an app, it saves you an intermediate step.
You can read about everything you can do with the chatbot in the following article. Here we asked the AI which MMO is currently the most worthwhile:

The studio Bungie has acknowledged a mistake. They awarded a piece of art related to Destiny 2 as “Art of the Week”, but the selected image was not from a fan, but created by an artificial intelligence. That is not what Bungie wants.
Which competition was it about?
Bungie regularly features artworks or videos from the community in their weekly blog post: Aspiring artists can submit their creations, someone or several people at Bungie review the submissions and highlight a selection of the best fan artworks in the blog post, which every hardcore Destiny fan studies attentively every Thursday evening.
It’s a chance for aspiring artists to try out and potentially get seen by thousands of viewers.
We at MeinMMO have previously covered Destiny’s “Video of the Week” for years. Bungie values maintaining contact with the community and recognizes fan efforts with such appreciative actions.

Destiny 2 Lightfall: The new trailer “Neomuna”
What was the issue now? In the blog post from February 2, Bungie selected an image, “Guardian Rendition”, and crowned it as “Art of the Week”. However, the image was immediately confronted with the accusation that it was not “real”, that it had surely been created by an artificial intelligence.
The user Zeta accused:
You did not create this art, that was a machine stealing the work of others.
And in fact, the submitter of the image admitted: He thought the image was just pretty, which is why he posted it on the page. He is retracting that now.

This is how Bungie reacts: In the current blog post from February 9, Bungie now says they made a mistake and selected an image from the team that originates from an artificial intelligence (via bungie).
They explicitly do not want that. They want to celebrate the community: They will never intentionally award a piece of art generated by an artificial intelligence.
But the technology is so new that they have difficulty recognizing an image made by AI. Therefore, they ask fans for forgiveness should something like this happen. If Bungie presents an image again that is created by AI, they ask fans for help in identifying it, so they can respond.
Why is the topic important? The discussion regarding AI at Bungie highlights a current issue: Artificial intelligence is now creating images and texts that are quite usable.
However, AI is accused of merely plagiarizing existing artworks and texts, thereby stealing the intellectual property of “real people” and depriving them of recognition or even their livelihoods.
The discussion now also affects the shooter Destiny 2, where they clearly position themselves: They want to celebrate fans, not AI.
What would the Vex say about this? The race of cybernetic war machines would surely prefer that Bungie lets AI slide a bit more.

Our editor-in-chief has her own perspective on artificial intelligence:
Whether one finds Lost Ark good or bad after more than a year is a matter of debate. However, long loading times and stuttering while playing are universally criticized. Fortunately, there is a simple solution, provided your system can handle it.
What is the problem in Lost Ark? Lost Ark has a large world that is not entirely open. This means you have to frequently travel back and forth between different areas, and there is always a short loading screen during this process.
But that’s not all; when you load the new map, you often have the issue where you can hardly act for several seconds. NPCs do not load, additional textures are missing, and sometimes you cannot even move while the world around you builds itself up.
This is quite frustrating. Especially when entering your fortress, the image often freezes for seconds. This completely drains the motivation to beautify your island, as the loading time increases with each new decoration.
It is also annoying with the daily tasks. If you often do your silver dailies on Lopang Island, you often have to teleport. Although you only need to talk to an NPC to complete the quest, it often takes a long time for the NPC to appear.
Loading issues are also a problem on Witcher Island:
Start video
The Witcher is coming to Lost Ark – New trailer shows why this fits really well
One option changes everything: The trick to eliminating these annoying loading issues lies in the engine itself. Lost Ark runs on the popular Unreal Engine, and you can conveniently and directly provide so-called launch options through Steam.
To do this, find Lost Ark in your Steam library, right-click on it and select “Properties.” In the now open window, you will find the empty text box “Launch Options,” and that is where it gets interesting.
Here you will write the following text: -notexturestreaming
After that, you can close the window and enjoy a much more pleasant performance in Lost Ark, if your PC can handle it.
Can this also cause problems?
What exactly does the option do? The so-called “Texture Streaming” in the Unreal Engine ensures that textures in the game are not loaded in full resolution immediately. Only when you get close to objects do the textures eventually load.
This often causes the annoying loading times when entering a new map in Lost Ark. The launch option disables this texture streaming. As a result, Lost Ark loads all textures of the new map in full resolution during the loading screen, and the annoying stutters are a thing of the past.
In return, you have slightly longer loading times before entering the map. However, with a fast SSD, this is hardly noticeable. However, you should also keep an eye on your graphics memory and your RAM. Both will be more heavily loaded without texture streaming.
Can this cause problems? On a modern system, not really. Generally, it can be said that texture streaming is beneficial for you, as your hardware gets older or is less powerful. Here, your weak graphics card is overloaded more than it should be. This can lead to lower FPS or even crashes.
Conversely, the option can be more annoying for you if you use current and powerful hardware. You will have to estimate and test whether disabling texture streaming is worth it for you. However, nothing serious can happen.
In the worst case, your game could crash because you don’t have enough memory available. Then the textures without streaming demand more from your system than it can provide. If this happens frequently, you should reactivate streaming.
Will trainers in the future get the best Pokéball in Pokémon GO? A new datamining suggests the Master Ball.
Pokéball, Great Ball, Ultra Ball – with these 3 balls, trainers usually tackle the catching routine in Pokémon GO.
Additionally, there are Premier Balls, which can be used at the end of a raid against the boss, as well as Ultra Balls, which were introduced for special situations in battles against Ultra Beasts.
That’s all so far because, as of today, an iconic ball from the main games is notably absent: The Master Ball is still missing in Pokémon GO. However, a new find by the dataminers from “Pokeminers” raises hopes that this could change.
Who are the Pokeminers? The Pokeminers are a group of dataminers who regularly scour the code of Pokémon GO for new content. They often find data on new features before they are activated in the game.
However, one must always keep in mind that these are leaks and not official information. When and whether the content will come into the game or be altered is still uncertain.
Dataminer finds new hint for the Master Ball in Pokémon GO
This was found: In a new “APK teardown” of version 0.261.3, the Pokeminers found various contents. Among other things, the “competitions”, which were recently found, have apparently been removed again.

However, according to the dataminers, there is also a type of tutorial for the introduction of the Master Ball included in the data. There are no further details available yet, but the Pokeminers emphasize that it sounds like this Master Ball tutorial could be coming into play sometime soon.
Players have been waiting a long time: Data about the Master Ball has been present in Pokémon GO for a long time, but the powerful ball has never been unlocked. Therefore, there have been ongoing discussions over the years about how the ball could be used when it is finally released.
The Master Ball in the main series has the property of being able to catch any Pokémon with 100% certainty. However, it is consequently very rare.
In the comments, players are excited:
“Master Ball? Add the “It’s happening Guys” meme from The Office” (via reddit).
“Holy Cow, this is the message I have been waiting for,” says a user (via reddit), who wants to catch shiny Mew with the Master Ball: “Now I’m ready to wait for the Master Ball, no matter how long it takes.”
Other users write that they would throw the ball directly at the Galar birds, as these are likely to simply flee when encountered. Others emphasize that 100CP bosses from raids would also be a good target. And some other players say they don’t even know what they would use the ball for – at least if you only get one like before.
What would you use the Master Ball for? Tell us in the comments!
The saga of Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard continues to make headlines. Currently, the focus is on a review of the acquisition offer by British competition authorities. As a result, Microsoft has now had to admit that the Xbox Game Pass negatively impacts sales. This contradicts earlier statements.
A preliminary report from the British Competition Authority CMA (Competition and Markets Authority) on the acquisition of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft shows how fiercely the companies are vying with each other.
The competition authorities are looking at the influence of Call of Duty on Xbox and PS5 sales figures. What influence does the franchise have on consumer decisions?
Start video
CoD: Modern Warfare 2 shows the campaign in the launch trailer – fans believe, “this will be one of the best Call of Duty games”
Sony wants to prevent acquisition – Competition authorities also view the plans critically
What are the competition regulators investigating? The regulators fear that the acquisition could lead to a company with too much market power. The authorities criticize that the acquisition could result in less competition in the gaming industry. This would lead to poorer quality and higher prices for consumers.
The authorities are examining, among other things, whether individual titles in Activision Blizzard’s portfolio could persuade consumers to purchase the Xbox if they were offered exclusively for this console. This specifically concerns the Call of Duty franchise.
According to Sony, the franchise is a flagship of the industry. It would significantly contribute to console sales. If Microsoft decides after the acquisition to offer Call of Duty exclusively on the Xbox, this would mean massive financial losses for Sony. Should Call of Duty become part of the Xbox Game Pass, this would be a decisive argument for consumers to choose to buy an Xbox instead of a PS5.
Microsoft wants to appease competition authorities
What does Microsoft say? In the course of negotiations, Microsoft has now disclosed internal information. Contrary to previous statements, the inclusion of a game in the Xbox Game Pass does not lead to better sales.
Microsoft also submitted that its internal analysis shows a [redacted]% decline in base game sales twelve months following their addition on Game Pass.
An internal analysis from Microsoft shows that after a game is added to Game Pass for 12 months, a percentage decline in the sales figures of this title can be observed.
This statement from Microsoft directly contradicts a statement made by Xbox chief Phil Spencer back in 2018. He stated that the inclusion of a game in the Xbox Game Pass leads to more sales. He justified this by saying that the Game Pass increases the player base. The more people play a game, the more players would notice the title. This, in turn, would lead to more people buying the title.
More about the acquisition of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft:
What else is in the report? In addition to countless economic and antitrust issues, a statement from Activision Blizzard is likely to be of interest to gamers. This seems to support Microsoft’s statement.
According to the report, Activision Blizzard is quite critical of the possibility that their titles could appear in Game Pass after the acquisition. They believe that this would cannibalize B2P sales [buy-to-play sales]. Especially with new releases, they fear that an inclusion in the Xbox Game Pass could depress the sales numbers of titles like Call of Duty or Diablo.
The current game director of Destiny 2, Joe Blackburn, spoke about the state of Destiny 2 in a personal blog post. In a concrete 5300 words, he teased many upcoming changes to the loot shooter. He revealed concise details about how players are expected to be challenged without getting bored.
What did the head of Bungie announce? On the evening of February 13, 2023, Destiny 2 revealed to its players in the official “State of the Game” blog post a huge outlook into the future, marking the end of the great light and darkness saga.
Joe Blackburn, the game director of Destiny 2 himself, wrote 5300 words about where the loot shooter is planned to develop in Year 6. Bungie not only laid out its content plans for the new DLC.
It was revealed how they plan to solve the problem of “There’s just not enough to do” in the future.
Why Guardians will have to be significantly weaker again after Lightfall.
What will specifically change in PvP and how they plan to keep this mode alive.
How they plan to enhance weapon random drops compared to crafted deep sight versions.
The first Lightfall season will be called “Season of Resistance”
Additionally, the Destiny 2 head revealed the names of 2 Lightfall seasons.
The first season 20 will be the “Season of Resistance”.
The following season 21 will be called “Season of Depth”.
Destiny 2 wants to bring back strong challenge
Bungie has recognized this problem: A huge problem in Destiny 2 is that players quickly get bored with the content. They rush through the content and are already fed up with it after a few repetitions.
Bungie’s game director Joe Blackburn believes that this problem cannot be solved with another strike or an additional map. Because Destiny 2 already has an incredible amount of content.
The core problem, he sees, is that not all content in Destiny 2 is as challenging or engaging as one would like. Additionally, it often seems to be the solo players who lose interest twice as fast because they lack an entertaining team.
This is the plan against Guardian arrogance and boredom:
Various activities will become more challenging. For this, Bungie will adjust a difficulty level regulator that determines how strong players can be compared to the enemies they fight.
This difficulty level regulator will also be present in the Vanguard Ops playlist. However, it will not be set as strongly there.
The new destination Neomuna will also receive this difficulty adjustment so that the patrolling enemies feel more threatening and deserve your attention.
“See the Shadow” as tough as “Light Blade”? – That could be interesting.
Big changes for the Nightfalls: Additionally, Joe Blackburn announced big news for the Nightfalls.
The currently easiest strikes in the game, “See the Shadow” and “Weapon Dealer”, have been revamped for Lightfall to match the level of “The Light Blade” and “Trial Grounds”. This should provide a proper boost for these old challenges.
A selection of battlegrounds will be converted into a Nightfall.
Here Bungie will let you find out in Season 20 how the hardest loot battleground on Mars feels as a Nightfall with the escalation protocol. This will also change the pinnacle challenges that you need to complete for the gold title “Conqueror”.
In each season, more battlegrounds are planned to be added to the Nightfalls.
For balance, Guardians must also become weaker: To prevent the changes mentioned above from being swallowed by the overly strong space abilities of the Guardians, Bungie’s plan also includes further weakening the players.
Don’t worry, you will still remain an ultimate monster-killing machine in the future. Only the power creep will be contained, as you can read in detail in this MeinMMO article by our Destiny author Christos:
The grind should no longer be so annoying starting from Season 20
The changes in Lightfall will also go in a direction that makes it easier for you to decide what to play. If you were frustrated in Witch Queen every season that you had to painstakingly scrape together Umbral Energy only in certain seasonal activities, you can soon skip that in Lightfall.
In the future, no one will need to farm Umbral Energy starting from Lightfall.
Destiny 2 will introduce season keys. They will drop randomly and allow openings of the bonus chest in seasonal activities.
Those without a key will benefit from improved loot from the base chest.
Umbral Engrams will be replaced by seasonal Engrams that are stored with the seasonal vendors. This gives your inventory more space.
Destiny 2 receives “Best of” mission rotator
The raid and dungeon legacy rotator will be adopted for exo missions.
More diverse and old content: With all these changes, Destiny 2 should first be more pleasant to play but still offer tough challenges.
Over the seasons, as before, further experiences will come to Year 6 in Lightfall, which will be related to different themes. Pirate or cowboy seasons in Witch Queen were apparently just the beginning.
This is how Bungie plans to tackle the “There just isn’t enough to do” problem:
Within Lightfall, Bungie plans to create new, exotic missions. How many new ones have been left open by the game director.
Starting from Season 22, there will also be a rotation for already known exotic missions, just like currently seen with the legacy content for raids and dungeons.
Which classic missions will be playable starting from Season 22? The first will be the exo missions from Season 13 “Foreboding”, from Season 16 “Vox Obscura” and from Season 19 “Operation: Seraph’s Shield”. They will rotate weekly and offer the option for pinnacle loot.
Will the Whisper return as well? With the rotator for classic missions, many players have wondered if the option for activities like “The Whisper” or “Hour Zero” will return. These two exo missions are considered absolute highlights of the community. It is certainly not entirely excluded. But currently, it does not seem that way. Technically, the reintegration of these popular missions into the game also doesn’t seem to be the easiest task.
PvP players will remain guinea pigs for now
Whether this love for PvP is enough can only be decided by the Guardians themselves.
How Lightfall will change PvP: A fresh breeze has long been missing in PvP, and this breeze does not seem to refresh with Lightfall either. Although Joe Blackburn believes that player-versus-player combat must remain a core part of the Destiny 2 experience.
This is what Bungie has planned for PvP in Lightfall:
Season 20 – “Season of Resistance”.
Bungie plans to introduce a mode with the provisional name “Checkmate Control”. It is supposed to drastically change the sandbox of the Guardians, such as weapon damage, ability duration, and even ammunition.
The mode “Countdown” will return to PvP as a respawn variant called “Countdown: Rush”. In this mode, players must detonate or defuse both bombs on the map before the round ends.
The PvP modes “Rift”, “Outbreak”, and “Fortress” are coming to the ritual list.
This is what the remaining seasons will bring for PvP: Season 21 – “Season of Depth” will bring the map “Core Meltdown” into PvP in the second Lightfall season. Season 22 will introduce a brand new vex network map for PvP players. And the final Season 23 will bring back an old PvP map called “Citadel” into the Crucible.
Anyone expecting more should keep an eye on the PvP labs. As Joe Blackburn revealed, they plan to bring back more classic and new modes there later in the year.
Furthermore, Bungie wants to achieve a balance between fair matches and good connections in Lightfall. Here, the feature “Dynamic Skill Tiers” has been mentioned, ensuring that players of all skill levels always have high-quality connections in their matches. Ultimately, this should also lead to a more balanced skill distribution among Guardians in PvP matches.
Destiny 2 pits weapons crafting against random drops
Crafted weapons have made random drops uninteresting – no reason to hunt them.
This problem arose with weapon crafting: With the Witch Queen DLC, Bungie introduced weapon crafting. Players could now create selected weapons and not only determine their perks themselves but also enhance them.
This system added some extra space in the vaults. Moreover, it enabled Guardians to react flexibly to any meta by simply reshaping their weapon.
However, these advantages also had disadvantages. Why grind for another weapon when I can easily build one that also has enhanced perks? Thus, the new weapon crafting system gradually killed the joy of a great perk random drop.
To stop the crafting downward spiral, Destiny 2 plans to change the weapon crafting system in the Lightfall year as follows:
A weapon with random perks can now also be enhanced in Lightfall so that it can reach the full power of a crafted weapon.
By enhancing, you can level up your dropped weapon, use mementos, and gain access to enhanced perks and traits that have dropped on that weapon. You will start with the new raid master weapons from Season 20.
Red borders of deep sight will only be seen if that weapon is useful for you. So if you still need it to complete a blueprint.
Completing blueprints will also become easier. Starting from Season 21, deep sight can be activated for any weapon for which there is no weapon crafting progress.
Is this a chromatically shining future or just a matte repetition?
What else was announced? Besides these changes, Joe Blackburn also mentioned some smaller details. For example, they will expand the text chat a bit and aim to connect the Guardians better with each other.
The biggest option that could have allowed this has been scrapped. The LFG system will not be available to players immediately at the start of Lightfall. This initially sounded different, but apparently, they had to change their plans for it.
The fire team finder as an integrated LFG system in Destiny 2 will only be available to players later in Lightfall. When exactly remained open.
If you are looking for more information about Lightfall, you will find it here:
This has revealed many plans for Destiny 2 by Joe Blackburn. This open disclosure will also be a significant strategy for Bungie moving forward. Players will be informed more often and earlier about upcoming content so that everyone knows what will broadly happen. Surprises will thus be somewhat rarer and will, in a way, give the Guardians back the old roadmap system.

Today, Destiny 2 will also experience a server downtime. Here you will find all the important info regarding that:

For over 2 months, many guilds in World of Warcraft have been struggling against the first raid “Vault of the Incarnations.” Especially the final boss Raszageth causes frustration and many an unpleasant raid evening. But Blizzard is providing relief and is clipping the good dragon lady’s wings a bit and also pretty much everything else about her.
What will be nerfed? Raszageth has proven to be particularly difficult and still causes problems for many groups at heroic and mythic difficulties. Some of the deadliest abilities – which tend to overlap with other abilities – will therefore be slightly weakened.
On “Heroic,” the following changes are made:
The health points of Raszageth have been reduced by 5%.
The rate at which the integrity of the vault decreases during the first interphase has been reduced.
The periodic damage of Gale Wing has been reduced by 20%.
Unstable Surge deals 20% less damage.
Start video
WoW shows new cinematic: This is how the battle against Raszageth ends
On “Mythic,” there are also significant reductions:
The knockback from Gale Wing is reduced.
Flame Shield of the Flamebound Herald now absorbs 45% of its maximum health in damage (previously 55%).
Cracking Shell of the Frostforged Zealot now absorbs 20% less healing.
Ascension of the Storm Seeker Acolyte only increases their speed by 150% (previously 300%).
The periodic damage of Gale Wing has been reduced by 20%.
Why are nerfs coming now? The reason for this is that with the maintenance on February 15, the general “progress time” in the raid Vault of the Incarnations is over. The Hall of Fame is closed and from now on the raid can also be approached with cross-server groups on mythic difficulty. At this point, Blizzard almost always releases a few nerfs to allow even the guilds that have so far failed to get a kill. The little extra boost in nerfs should ensure that Raszageth will bite the digital dust a few more times in the coming weeks and days.
What do you think of the nerfs? Appropriate and helpful? Or will this boss be “nerfed to death” and become free loot?

MeinMMO demon Cortyn reminisces about the past and reports on a game that had long-term consequences– perfect for the Find Your Next Game: Love Edition.
How we all came to our “gaming love” is different for everyone. My colleagues have already summed it up in a very emotional video, which ultimately inspired me to write this article.
Like our Toffi, I loved Final Fantasy IX back in the day as well. I didn’t own a PlayStation myself, but I had a friend – and convinced him on his birthday to buy the game with his birthday money. Luckily, he didn’t regret it.
But I really “dived into” the world of games in a completely different way, through a game that had no major publisher and only existed in German.
Some of the older ones among you might recall “Bravo Screenfun.” It was a magazine, somewhat like “Computerbild Spiele” – only cooler. One of the magazine’s CDs included the game “Vampires Dawn,” accompanied by a very long workshop article on the “RPG Maker 2000.”
Just seeing this cover image makes me nostalgic even today.
Vampires Dawn tells the story of three vampires, namely Asgar, Alaine, and Valnar. Until the start of the storyline, Valnar was a human who gets turned into a vampire by Asgar and is meant to serve him. However, Valnar hates Asgar and still sees himself as more of a human, while his creator strives to slowly accustom Valnar to his existence as a vampire and drive out his humanity. Alaine, on the other hand, is Asgar’s fiancée and also a vampire. She tries to mediate the conflicts between the two, even if that often doesn’t succeed.
I don’t want to go too deep into the story, as you should experience it for yourselves. The original Vampires Dawn has “pixel graphics” reminiscent of the earlier Final Fantasy titles, but that is the charm of all RPG Maker games.
Like in a JRPG, you travel through the world, fight enemies, learn new skills, and can make various choices. The world brims with side quests and has quite an adult charm that I liked even back then. Blood and violence are – albeit in pixel graphics – on par with The Witcher, and even more “questionable” topics like executions, brothels, and abuse of power are themes of the game.
There was no delicacy in Vampires Dawn. Beheading, halving, or decapitating was common.
I was thrilled by the game world and the possibilities. Not only could you freely travel the world with dozens of cities and hidden places, but you could also make an incredible number of choices. Almost every NPC in the game could be drained of blood, killed, or simply transformed into useful items. If one wished, one could wipe out an entire city to enrich oneself.
The implications were huge. Killing a character meant that they could no longer offer any side quests later. What is now quite common in games like Skyrim or Witcher III was incredibly interesting for me back then. The fact that Vampires Dawn had multiple endings depending on the player’s choices was also a rarity at that time.
Sure, in some respects, Vampires Dawn hasn’t aged well. There are indeed a few “grind” passages where you need to farm mobs for a while; as was common in JRPGs of that time. You also cannot always save, but must expend a limited resource for that – also a decision people probably wouldn’t make today.
While I had played games before Vampires Dawn, no game before or after sparked my interest in “games as a whole” the way it did.
More exciting content from FYNG can be found here:
Vampires Dawn was a “1-Man Project” – That Inspired Me Too
What fascinated me back then and still does: Vampires Dawn was created single-handedly by Alexander “Marlex” Koch. To me, the idea was completely overwhelming that a single person could create a game using the RPG Maker that one could invest several dozen hours into.
In the mornings at school, I used the short breaks (and a few hours of geography, German, and religion) to draw maps of houses and cities in my notebook, which I could later translate into the RPG Maker in the afternoon. I thought about how the story should unfold in a village, what side quests there were, what rewards and secrets existed. Once home, I virtually stormed the PC. While I was blasted with music from Rammstein and Die Ärzte, I worked hour after hour on the RPG Maker.
A screenshot from the “more modern” RPG Maker VX Ace. The “RPG Maker 2000” was significantly less user-friendly.
It was a level of euphoria and drive that I had never known before and have rarely experienced since. It lasted for weeks and months. I even sacrificed the beloved summer holidays to learn more and more about the RPG Maker and gradually improve.
YouTube did not exist back then, or at least not to the extent it does today. So if I wanted to learn something I didn’t understand, I had to load “Vampires Dawn” from my idol Marlex into the RPG Maker and see how the “great master” had done it.
I spent hours and days combing through the game, observing how NPCs had different dialogues, what “switches” and “variables” could do, how to create your own spell effects, and how to apply different brightness effects with oversized pixel images. Marlex was my great teacher, even though he never knew it and probably never will.
Some might now say that I wasted more than a year. After all, my own game was never completed. It had a playtime of around 10 hours and consisted of over 400 different maps – but failed due to my unrealistic expectations.
Young, naive, and overly motivated as I was, I naturally wanted to make a game that was even bigger – and ultimately it grew overwhelming. Worse still: As I improved more and more over the months, I realized that the quality of my game fluctuated drastically.
The first maps and the intro of the game were of such poor quality that I should have started over. On one hand, it was incredibly fulfilling to realize how much I had improved. But on the other hand, the project, which I had poorly planned, had grown bigger and ultimately fizzled out.
Years later, I think today: Regarding the Nether, the first hours of my game were terrible. Full of clichés, ugly maps, and terrible dialogues. No one should ever see that. However, I am still proud of the later hours of gameplay. I still see how much I can improve in something if I really commit.
That time also helped me develop more understanding for developers and bugs. How easily fixing a bug elsewhere can cause a new bug, you realize with the RPG Maker every few minutes.
Additionally, I was able to use my skills in RPG Maker years later to create small videos for my Pen & Paper group, which parodied and reminisced about the adventures of the last gaming sessions. The videos also have an extremely high “cringe” factor – yet are unforgettable memories for me.
But before I stray any further, I want to slowly close the loop. Vampires Dawn and my resulting interest in RPG Maker have profoundly shaped me and largely formed my love for games. Since Vampires Dawn, I have been curious to learn more about how game worlds are created and how mechanics work from a developer’s perspective. I love telling my own stories and creating narratives, which ultimately led to my passion for role-playing – whether in Pen & Paper or MMORPG.
I must confess that I completely missed that. But after learning about it, the game was immediately purchased. In my next vacation, I will definitely play through it to dive back into the universe of “Marlex” and find out how the war between humans and vampires goes to the next round with plenty of pixel blood.
Indirectly, I owe a lot to Vampires Dawn: Reign of Blood. I don’t know if I would have the job I have today without Vampires Dawn – or whether my interest in games would still be so strong had the RPG Maker not had such an attraction on me.

Diablo 4 will be released on June 06 and will forego one of the best features: set items – those parts will come later. MeinMMO editor Maik Schneider was initially shocked. Once the dust settled, he sees things differently now.
What are set items? These special items are the divas in every inventory of Diablo 2 & 3. With their brightly colored green elements, they visually stand out from the mundane legendaries, not to mention regular items.
If you place several like-minded set items in the active equipment slots, these parts provide extra bonuses, sometimes even special gameplay mechanics. There are sets that only fully unleash their power with 5 equipped parts.
Advantage: Powerful, often even unique bonuses
Disadvantage: Multiple equipment slots and a lot of grinding needed
Combined, they usually represent extremely powerful equipment items, which have now become a staple of the Diablo series.
However, at the launch of the new Diablo 4, there will be no set items, and my recent experiences from the release of Diablo Immortal have shown me – this is a good decision.
For a visual impression of the new Diablo 4, check out our trailer for the game:

<strong>Diablo 4 takes the best features from the predecessors – Here is what it looks like so far</strong>
Without sets, building offers more freedom
Why is it good that sets are not coming at launch? With the controversial mobile hit Diablo Immortal, the devilish ARPG series returned to my gaming cosmos. Like many other players, I was not satisfied with some design decisions at all.
I don’t even want to talk about the legendary gems. There has been enough discussion about that, and I quickly came to terms with the fact that I couldn’t achieve certain things in the game.
Much worse for me as a free-to-play player were the restrictions on the set items. They were fully implemented in the game but hidden behind heavy level restrictions.
At launch, it was mathematically impossible to quickly obtain a complete set. Yet, you knew the values, bonuses, and advantages of the set pieces. Like a juicy carrot, the unreachable set pieces dangled behind nasty, high level caps.
For my necromancer, I wanted to have the matching set immediately. I also looked for strong legendaries for my class, but the goal was set from the very beginning.
This fixation on strong set pieces also took away some of my enjoyment of the game. By the time I could get the complete set, all build configurations would only be temporary placeholders.
I didn’t even want to construct a strong legendary build. I wanted the set build from the start. And I see exactly this problem for Diablo 4 as well.
Without set items, we are practically forced to build our builds around the legendary effects. After release, this should lead to greater build diversity, which should be a real blessing for me as an avid build creator.
The developers want to take more time for the sets this time. After the release, an equipment meta for the individual classes will develop, and based on the collected data, the sets can be introduced with an appropriate strength, so that they don’t immediately fill all meta builds.
What speaks against it? In Diablo, it’s all about collecting, looting, and power. Set items therefore stand like no other item in the Diablo universe for the foundational building blocks of gameplay.
I love collecting sets. It gives me something. That’s why I was initially shocked when the “good news” reached me.
Moreover, sets often bring fantastic and strong mechanics into the game, which means variety. Even for dedicated build min-maxers, it must be annoying if the set items only come into play weeks or even months after release.
Here you can find all important information about Diablo 4:
When will the sets come? That is still open. It’s clear – the set items will come. The US site GameRant spoke during a roundtable interview with Game Director Joe Shely, who mentioned that they want to introduce the set items as they currently do in the endgame of Diablo 3 (via gamerant.com).
This does not necessarily indicate a quick release.
In an interview with gamepressure, Shely also said (via gamepressure.com): “Sets are an exciting case because when we were developing the game, we realized that we could develop sets in a new direction. But we needed a bit more time to implement them in a way that they play well with the rest of Diablo 4. That’s why there won’t be any sets in the game at launch.”
Marcel “MontanaBlack” Eris was for a long time the most successful German streamer on Twitch. He now says in a stream, many see him and his success and believe they can emulate him and make quick money. But these people could “do nothing.” They are irrelevant and boring, the market is “oversaturated” anyway. These statements have drawn criticism from his own fans.
What statements is MontanaBlack criticized for now? The streamer compares today’s Twitch with the Twitch of earlier times. By “earlier,” he apparently refers to the streaming platform around the year 2018.
“Earlier,” when there was still another gaming market, Twitch consisted solely of gaming. Today, much of Twitch revolves around “Just Chatting”:
Twitch was just about gaming back then. Actually, almost only gaming and that was just awesome, dude. And it’s simply that now every loser, every irrelevant jerk, thinks their big career starts on Twitch because they see me, because they see people like Carsten, because they see people like Elias or other successful streamers and think: “Yeah, what he can do, I can do too” – No! You can do nothing, you are simply an irrelevant son of a bitch. Nobody cares about you.
MontanaBlack adds: The market is so oversaturated across all platforms because people “smell the quick money.” 90% of the people who would start streaming have purely financial interests. They want to “earn money by force.”
How does he respond to criticism? Still in the stream, MontanaBlack is confronted in the chat with criticism of his position. He responds by pointing out his special success:
“You are so in the scene, dude. I completely forgot. You, as an outsider viewer, of course know exactly what’s going on behind the scenes. I totally forgot, dude. How dare I, as the biggest streamer or one of the biggest streamers in Germany, with the most followed channel on Twitch, how can I even dare to make that claim?”

Career and Life of MontanaBlack in 2 Minutes: What Makes Him Unique?
MontanaBlack criticizes the change on Twitch – is himself a prime example of it
Is he right with his statements? MontanaBlack is right in stating that Twitch has changed:
In the last 365 days, “Just Chatting” was by far the largest category on Twitch – with 3.1 million hours, it was twice as large as the biggest game, LoL
In 2018, “Just Chatting” with 141,000 hours was number 11 among the categories – Fortnite was about 9 times larger with 1.35 million hours
Most categories on Twitch consist of games: LoL is one category, Destiny is another category. “Just Chatting” is a category where “only talking” happens and no gaming. Since 2020, “Just Chatting” has consistently been the largest category on Twitch.
So it is correct that Twitch has changed and no longer revolves solely around gaming. Prominent figures on Twitch like Amouranth or HasanAbi are only tangentially connected to gaming. Even actual gaming streamers like Asmongold spend a lot of time discussing topics that are far outside of gaming, like the court case between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard.
But MontanaBlack plays a significant role here:
In the last 365 days, MontanaBlack was seen in “Just Chatting” for 348 hours, almost 4 times as often as in his most played game, “FIFA 23”
In 2018, MontanaBlack spent 618 hours in Fortnite, and not at all in “Just Chatting”
He is therefore criticizing a development in which he himself, at least in Germany, is an absolute pioneer.
MontanaBlack also admits: The gaming market has changed in recent years. As one can tell from his Twitter posts, he has largely lost interest in his former “core games” like Call of Duty or Fortnite. He is no longer allowed to show gambling on Twitch due to legal issues.
MontanaBlack names Elias as one of the “good streamers,” even though the former FIFA pro has only been streaming regularly on Twitch since 2021.
“Money has gone to his head” – “Fears becoming irrelevant himself”
What bothers people about the statements? Under the YouTube video of “Die Crew”, which review his streams and publish highlights on YouTube, there is a lot of criticism of the statements made by the 34-year-old streamer.
It is said that MontanaBlack has had “money go to his head” – He is “jealous of people” who are surpassing him and fears becoming irrelevant himself.
According to MontanaBlack’s definition, Elias Nerlich (Eli97N) is also a total newcomer who has only been streaming since 2020, yet he has surpassed MontanaBlack.
Another user says: MontanaBlack insults people who start streaming. Who does he think he is? God, who decides who can stream and who cannot?
Others note: MontanaBlack is too stuck in the old days.

MontanaBlack is overtaken by just such a “newcomer” on Twitch
What is behind this: Normally, MontanaBlack receives a lot of support for such statements. Even if he appears vulgar, it usually doesn’t bother the commentators in his highlight streams.
However, what bothers his own fans here is that MontanaBlack tells new people they are “irrelevant and boring” and even insults them, which creates the idea that no one can follow in his footsteps. Because “the market is oversaturated.”
Many fans of MontanaBlack seemingly see him as a kind of role model they want to emulate. When this option is blocked for them, it deters them.
Moreover, it is already ironic that MontanaBlack is now criticizing the commercialization of Twitch, while there are few streamers worldwide who operate as commercially as MontanaBlack and flaunt their earnings from Twitch:
MontanaBlack has a shop where he sells his own merchandise
Even if MontanaBlack is right in some statements, he does not seem to be in a position to accuse others of wanting “the quick money” or to criticize that Twitch “no longer revolves only around gaming.”
Because in both developments, “Just Chatting instead of Gaming” and a strong commercialization, MontanaBlack is an absolute trendsetter on Twitch.
To fully embrace this and then accuse successors of an “oversaturated market” seems contradictory. This explains why his viewers react so strongly here.
By the most viewed hours in the last 365 days, MontanaBlack is number 4 in Germany. With Eliasn97, who has been streaming regularly since 2021, just such a newcomer has overtaken him, whom he, according to his definition, hardly gives a chance to succeed on Twitch:

Guild Wars 2: Kasmeer and Marjory
Within the main story of Guild Wars 2, Kasmeer and Marjory accompany the players through the “Living World” for some time.
Kasmeer comes from a noble family that lost its fortune, which is why she is looking for a job. She finds one at the detective agency of Marjory Delaqua, a necromancer with Canthan roots.
Tidus, a professional blitzball player, suddenly finds himself in another world in Final Fantasy X. There, he meets the mage Yuna, whom he subsequently accompanies. Tidus’s bravest moments are those in which he wants to protect Yuna – for instance, when she is kidnapped by the Al Bhed.
During their journey, the two become closer, resulting in a moving love story. Final Fantasy X brings players closer to the personal development of both and their feelings for each other.
Particularly the touching scene in the Macalania river remains memorable. It is night, and the reflection of the starry sky sparkles in the water. Suddenly, Yuna begins to cry, whereupon Tidus wraps his arms around her and gently kisses her.
Life is Strange: Chloe and Max
In the first part of Life is Strange, Max returns to her hometown, where she meets her best friend Chloe. The two had not seen each other for 5 years.
While Max is rather reserved and perceives the world through her camera, Chloe has become rebellious over the 5 years: she smokes, drinks, has blue hair, and has problems with her stepfather.
Despite their differences, their friendship grows closer with each chapter. At one point, Chloe challenges Max to kiss her, a choice players can accept or decline. If Max does not kiss Chloe, her journal later states that she regrets it.
Overall, there are numerous hints within Life is Strange pointing to a romantic love between Chloe and Max. Whether it’s a friendship or a romantic relationship remains open. “It depends on how you let Max act regarding Chloe,” writes co-director Michel Koch on Twitter.
In 2018, Hannah Telle, the voice actress of Max, was asked about the relationship between Chloe and Max. “Their relationship is bigger than that. Bigger than love. Bigger than romance,” she replied (via YouTube).
Borderlands 3: Wainwright and Hammerlock
Borderlands 3 has an entire DLC focused on an intimate love relationship. It is called “Guns, Love and Tentacles” and deals with the wedding of Sir Alistar Hammerlock and Wainwright Jakobs.
Previously, the credits of Borderlands 3 show how Wainwright proposes to Hammerlock. He refers to Hammerlock as “his partner” and “the love of his life” (via Borderlands Wiki).
The two marry on the distant, frozen planet Xylourgos. They invite all Vault Hunters to their wedding, including Gaige and Claptrap.
Before the wedding, there is a little problem: the planet is inhabited by a cult that worships gigantic dead monsters. Thus, the leader of the cult has her eyes on one of the grooms. Players must save the wedding before it can take place.
Haven: Yu and Kay
In the cooperative RPG Haven, Yu and Kay flee together to a foreign planet because their relationship is not accepted in their hometown. To stay together, they must leave their planet.
Yu and Kay, who were already a couple before the story begins, now experience everyday life together and face the challenges of a new planet. They explore the area, master battles, and craft items – however, the focus of the game is on the dialogues between them. “Beautifully written, a great love story,” players write on Steam.
At the beginning of Haven, you can choose how you play Yu and Kay: as a man and woman, two men, or two women.
The Darkness: Jenny and Jackie
The Darkness is a dark shooter – but love can also be found here. You take on the role of Jackie Estacado, who suddenly gains a supernatural power on his 21st birthday.
Jackie experiences action-packed shootouts in New York City, but in between, there are scenes where he visits his girlfriend Jenny Romano at home. The two maintain a loving relationship. In the picture, they cuddle with each other, Jenny lays her head on Jackie’s chest and says: “I can feel your heartbeat.”
However, Jackie gets involved with a criminal organization that wanted to kill him. He thwarts their plans, but in retaliation, they kill Jenny. Thus, their love ends tragically.
In the second part of The Darkness, the focus shifts to Jackie wanting to avenge the death of his beloved Jenny and becoming a monster himself.
Mario and Peach
Since Super Mario Bros. in 1985, nearly every Mario game is about him saving his beloved Princess Peach. Peach is a loving, kind figure, who, however, does not learn from her mistakes, which is why she is repeatedly kidnapped by Bowser. For her, Mario regularly risks his life.
When the two are not together, they worry about each other, and conflicts only arise rarely. For example, at the end of Mario Odyssey, Peach becomes angry that Mario and Bowser are fighting over her. But in the end, she forgives Mario (via Mario Wiki).
With the game Super Princess Peach, Nintendo turns the story around: Here, Bowser kidnaps Mario, and Peach has to rescue him. When she returns to her castle after a walk and sees what has happened, she immediately wants to rush to help him. Using the umbrella Perry, which she uses for her attacks, she can save Mario.
The two have done almost everything together – Peach is indispensable in Mario games, and vice versa. A Mario movie is also coming soon, where Peach certainly cannot be missed. After all, the two have been together for 38 years.
Enchantress Ilanya sends you to search for her former love, who has been dead for 10,000 years: Priestess Driana. She had committed a betrayal, was killed, and has wandered as a ghost ever since. It’s up to you to purify her so she can return to Ilanya: “There is a place where Enchantress Ilanya and I spent many happy hours. The love that pervades such a place is stronger than devil magic.”
After Driana never thought she would see the love of her life again, the two are brought back together.
There is also a love couple in Destiny 2. The two legendary guardians, Saint-14 and Osiris, are in love, as Bungie confirmed in 2020.
Osiris is the mentor of Ikora Rey and the former Vanguard commander who was exiled. The Titan Saint-14 served as the first Titan Vanguard leader. Through them, you experience a captivating backstory in which Osiris must save the Titan.
Since the story of Season 12, it has been relatively clear to players that the Warlock Osiris and Saint-14 have romantic feelings for each other. Osiris found notes from Saint, in which he talks about “his fiery phoenix.”
After the community discussed the supposed love couple, narrative designer Robert Brookes spoke on Twitter. He writes: “Yes, Saint and Osiris are gay. They always have been.”
When Osiris was in a very bad state in Season 18 and lying in a coma, it was again the 14th who lovingly took care of him and never gave up on him. In the end, everything turns out well. Thanks to a special cup of tea, two beloved characters experienced the sweet and tender reunion they deserved.
Osiris recovers and returns stronger in Season 19. It was an emotional and hard-fought reunion in Destiny 2. Especially considering all they have been through together.
Final Fantasy XIV: Nanamo and Raubahn
After the Garlean conquer Raubahn’s homeland, he flees to Ul’Dah, where he ultimately becomes the Phoenix general and companion of the Sultana Nanamo Ul Namo.
He remains loyal to her, and a deep bond between the two can be recognized. The scenes between them suggest that Nanamo cares for Raubahn very much. Later in the game, it becomes clear that Raubahn’s feelings are more paternal in nature – he loves Nanamo like a daughter.
When someone attempts to assassinate Nanamo during a festival and she seemingly lies dead on the ground, Raubahn loses his composure. He is shaken by her apparent death and kills Teledji, who insulted the Sultana. Shortly thereafter, someone cuts off his left arm.
Later, when it becomes clear that Nanamo is merely in a comatose state and not dead, Raubahn receives the antidote. He can thus resurrect Nanamo.

War of Dragnarox is an upcoming MMORPG by Triune Studios. It features detailed graphics with stunning landscapes and gameplay reminiscent of Dungeons & Dragons.
In 2021, the developers announced War of Dragnarox for the first time. About 5 months ago, an upgrade to Unreal Engine 5 was implemented, making the graphics look even better.
Real people lead your adventure as Dungeon Masters
What kind of game is it? War of Dragnarox describes itself as a “dynamic warfare MMORPG” that offers its players a lot of freedom.
The story revolves around someone named Dragnarox who has taken control of the hearts of all creatures. However, the king was able to push them back. 200 years later, Dragnarox returns with his army, and players must fight against them.
In the video, you can see the beautiful graphics of the MMORPG:

War of Dragnarox Unreal Engine 5 Trailer
The special thing about War of Dragnarox is that real people are supposed to guide you as Dungeon Masters through the MMORPG, at least during certain events and quests.
They are supposed to control the gameplay by spawning monsters, triggering traps, changing the map, or rewarding players with treasures. “No day or dungeon run is the same,” the developers explain on the website. Thus, the MMORPG resembles the tabletop classic Dungeons & Dragons.
What other content does it offer?
You choose from 6 different classes and create your character.
A large world map with 30 zones and different biomes for you to explore.
Crafting
Solo but also group content
In the endgame, there are supposed to be 19 different raids.
This is what the landscapes of the MMORPG look like:
Aiming to avoid a real-money shop
Another special feature compared to other MMORPGs is the absence of a cash shop. In War of Dragnarox, all items and any equipment are supposed to be earnable. Players do not have the option to gain an advantage by spending real money.
There should also be no cosmetic items. “Cosmetics improve with higher gear,” it states on the website. This could mean that weapons and armor shine or glitter when upgraded to a higher level.
“To be honest, we’re just tired of cosmetics and in-game advantages that require payment,” the developers write. Therefore, War of Dragnarox comes with a subscription model to cover costs for employees and servers.
Additionally, you have to purchase the game at the start. On the Steam page, it is currently listed as “free,” but the FAQ of the website says otherwise.
When will War of Dragnarox be released? The release of the MMORPG is planned for Q3 2023. Currently, only closed alpha tests are underway.
What do you think of the MMORPG? Do you want to try War of Dragnarox when it comes out? What do you think of the idea of having real people as Dungeon Masters? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments here on MeinMMO!
In Fortnite today, on February 14, the servers are going down on all platforms (PC, Mac, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, Android). Maintenance is being used to load update 23.40 onto the servers.
What is happening today in Fortnite? This Tuesday begins again with major maintenance from Epic Games for Fortnite. For this reason, the servers are being taken down so that the update can be implemented. When you can play again and what to expect in the patch, you’ll find out with us.

What content could appear with update 23.40?
Epic Games reveals hardly any new info about upcoming content before a new update. Trusted leakers like Shiina have been keeping an eye on the hidden data for a long time and generally know what players can expect. This time you can expect the following items:

However, there is no guarantee that this content will actually be in the update. If there are problems, Epic Games might remove some of it and only release selected content. However, this has been rare in the past.
In the meantime, you can read about the current state of Fortnite, which is out of control:
Destiny 2 has undergone many changes with Witch Queen, shaping players into unbeatable Guardians. For this reason, over time, many activities have also become easier for players. However, that should change with Lightfall.
What is the problem in Destiny 2? The loot shooter is getting easier from DLC to DLC. The new subclass changes have further compounded this, causing many Guardians to roam around with way too powerful builds.
These builds allow you to unleash abilities like grenades and ultimates at the flick of a wrist, and that within just a few seconds. Or they turn you into literal sponges, laughing off any incoming damage.
Essentially, Destiny 2 is currently struggling with the power of its Guardians, as this leads many players to quickly grow bored of the activities.
However, this will soon change, as Bungie reported in their big “State of the Game” post that they want to bring more challenge back to Destiny 2.

Bungie is addressing power creep in Destiny 2
What is power creep? The term explains a situation that arises when new enemies and abilities are so powerful that they overshadow older elements in the game. In Destiny 2, this mainly concerns the older activities like strikes. The Focus 3.0 update has made the Guardians so powerful that such activities no longer pose a challenge.
What does Bungie want to do? To make Destiny 2 challenging again, Game Director Joe Blackburn talks about two points that Bungie aims to address:
Tuning your abilities
Bungie knows how much Guardians love to dominate with their abilities. Despite this, Destiny 2 is a game that should not be solely governed by abilities. For this reason, in Lightfall, the cooldown of all abilities will be increased by a moderate amount.
Also, the resilience mods will receive an energy boost. Small versions of the resilience mods will be increased from 1 to 2 energy, while the large mods will be increased from 3 to 4 energy.
Adjusting enemies in activities
Many of the activities are also too easy, for this reason Bungie has implemented a slider with the base heist battlegrounds that allows for the enemies to be adjusted to be more difficult or easier.
Here, Bungie has already experimented with its players in Season 19
The developers have been observing how the Guardians have performed and have concluded that they want to maintain this difficulty for the heist battlegrounds.
The battlegrounds were used as testing grounds
The Vanguard Ops, i.e., strikes, will receive the same system but in a diluted form. Newcomers will thus be provided with the complete Destiny 2 experience with a touch of challenge.
This is how Bungie wants to change your power: According to Joe Blackburn, Bungie is constantly working on improving the experience in Destiny 2. However, the grind for power and pinnacle caps is holding back this experience for many Guardians. Many players, according to Blackburn, cannot participate in all activities because they do not meet or can reach the necessary prerequisites.
For this reason, Bungie is working on overhauling the system behind power and will not even raise it in Season 21.
With the last DLC “The Final Shape,” the system will then be “strongly changed.” What this will mean is still uncertain. It could be that the developers might completely remove the system to not hold players back anymore or that they will present another, smarter solution for it.
That was all about the upcoming changes regarding your strength. What do you think of Bungie’s plans? Do you think it’s enough to set Guardians straight? Feel free to leave us a comment!
In FIFA 23, cheaters are causing more and more trouble, and now even invisible teams are appearing. A well-known Twitch streamer has had enough and is calling on EA to take action.
A new alleged cheat is now drawing attention, which leaves players with absolutely no chance because the opponents are simply invisible.
This is what the alleged cheat is about: A tweet has garnered a lot of attention, in which a FIFA player reports an encounter with an invisible team.
The player posted a video of the FUT Champions match, which shows that everything looked normal at the beginning. But as soon as the match was kicked off, the problem became clear: all players of his opponent were invisible.
A situation that makes a fair game absolutely impossible. After all, you can’t see where the opposing defenders are or where the opponent might pass the ball next. Only the ball is visible, which is not particularly helpful.
You can see how unfair this all is here:

How do the invisible teams come about? Whether the invisible teams are indeed a cheat cannot be said with 100% certainty. It could also be a really annoying bug.
However, cases of invisible teams are currently increasing and appearing simultaneously with other new cheating methods. Moreover, invisible players have so far only been discovered, according to the community, among PC opponents, which could indicate a hack.
A Twitch streamer has had enough and demands: “Wake up, EA!”
Almost simultaneously, after invisible teams appeared in FIFA, the well-known Twitch streamer and YouTuber NickRTFM (via Twitter) posted a video on Twitter in which he urges EA to finally take care of the cheaters in FIFA 23.

In the video, which has already been viewed 169,000 times, NickRTFM explains that he has “had enough of hackers” and has encountered a total of 7 cheaters in 5 days. He reports that he also became a victim of an invisible team, had to play against AI teams, and played against cards that had far more skills than they should have had.
A problem that we have presented to you in more detail here:
NickRTFM finds the solution of turning off crossplay to avoid encountering PC players unsatisfactory and says: “It’s like just putting a band-aid on the problem.”
He demands from EA: “It’s your responsibility, fix the problem. Fix the hackers. It’s ridiculous that we all have to play against hackers. It’s not even possible to reach certain ranks in the Weekend League because you encounter 3 to 4 hackers on weekends. Fix it!”

Months ago, “The Day Before” was one of the most highly anticipated new games on Steam, but the shine is quickly wearing off. After delays in the release and a disappointing trailer, there are once again difficulties with the “The Division, but with Zombies” game. The Day Before has disappeared from Steam, and YouTube videos are now being taken down. The team hints on Twitter that dark powers are blackmailing them. However, they aren’t receiving much understanding in return.
The game became one of the most anticipated games on Steam thanks to the strong trailer.
But in recent weeks, strange stories about the game have been piling up, causing many previously enthusiastic players to doubt whether everything is above board. The team doesn’t even possess the rights to the name “The Day Before”, but they promised to resolve the issue.
The game has now disappeared from Steam, and a new video on YouTube has also vanished from the platform. Attempts to clarify these events on Twitter have failed.

The team explains why Steam and YouTube are removing content
This is the latest development: In a tweet from February 12, the team states that content from “The Day Before” has now disappeared from Steam and YouTube.
As an explanation, the team released “3 facts”:
The rights holder to “The Day Before” is a calendar app that has nothing to do with the game.
After presenting the game in 2021, this person wanted to take over the title and registered rights to the title before the team of “The Day Before”.
Now it is said that the trademark owner offered to contact the team to “discuss something” – here it seems implied that the “owner” has essentially taken the title hostage and will release it if paid.
The statement ends with “We will fight. In the truth lies strength.”
Popular calendar app reminds users “one day before” about important dates
Who holds the rights? As PC Gamer reports, it apparently stems from a calendar app from South Korea, “TheDayBefore (D-Day Countdown)” by TheDayBefore Inc., which is interfering with the creators of “The Day Before”.
It is an app with over 10 million downloads that is supposed to remind users “the day before” the important date that it is approaching.
The app has over 96,000 reviews in the Google Store and boasts a strong rating of 4.6 (via playgoogle).
The most popular review of the app is already from November 2020 – thus, before the presentation of the same-named game “The Day Before”.
Why is the team embarrassing themselves with this? It seems amateurish. They have gone public with a title without securing the rights to the name. “The Day Before” (the day before) is such a general expression that someone else could very well have come up with it as a title for something.
Now the developers claim that someone has exploited the team’s oversight in not registering the title, and instead of clarifying their own oversight, they are further elevating it with their Twitter post.
The team is trying to portray themselves with statements as the “underdog no one believes in”, yet it seems they simply messed up the name and are now avoiding responsibility for the mistake, looking for someone to blame who is protecting their rights to the name.
In the comments on Twitter, it states:
“You guys just have no idea what you’re doing.”
“I can’t sympathize with a company that can’t manage to protect its game before it explodes on Steam.”
“Yes, if you don’t protect the name and someone else does, your stuff will be taken down as soon as you publish anything with that name – either you settle the dispute (not easy when you’ve forgotten), or just change the name?”
At PC Gamer, there is a strong recommendation for the developers to finally get a PR team instead of going public with unfiltered tweets.
From potential players on Twitter, the “underdog/victim” role does not seem to be accepted. Here, impatience is evident, especially since the team has already lost a lot of credit with the second delay of the release date to the end of 2023.
