An update on March 24, 2023 brought some changes to the weapon meta in CoD: Warzone 2.
According to some YouTubers, one particular weapon is now better than ever. WhosImmortal names the Vel 46 the new number 1 among submachine guns (via YouTube). Thus, it has now even become a strong alternative to the previously established Lachmann MP.

The buffed Vel 46 can shine with the setup above with a range of 13 meters. Up to here, the SMG deals its full damage. In comparison, the Lachmann performs significantly worse at 8 meters.
The Vel is great for closer targets at a distance of 20 meters. The almost exclusively vertical recoil also allows for fights at medium distances, where other players have to pull out their assault rifles. A significant advantage in a fast-paced fight.
What does the setup for better hipfire look like? If you want to focus more on hipfire, the YouTuber recommends a 50 Round Magazine and a Point-G3P 04 Laser. The Tango 228 Barrel can be removed in this case.
Currently, the Vel 46 is considered one of the best options in close combat, with which you can achieve slightly more range than with the Lachmann MP – even if it performs a bit weaker in terms of time-to-kill.

A futuristic Exotic, which players could exclusively receive as a pre-order item for Lightfall in Destiny 2, proves to be an extremely complex challenge for Bungie. MeinMMO tells you which Exotic just doesn’t want to work and when a fix for it is planned.
Which Lightfall Exotic is currently causing problems? The exotic and exclusive weapon “Vice Stinger” was supposed to sweeten the waiting time for pre-orderers of Lightfall. The kinetic nanite auto rifle not only has a futuristic design but also features homing missiles and can even transform into a grenade launcher.
Many players therefore took the offer in August 2022 and pre-ordered the expansion for 100 € to receive the item first and exclusively. But as soon as they had the item, it only caused frustration among its new owners.
After the release of Lightfall in February 2023, “Vice Stinger” then received a catalyst that was buggy again and caused the weapon to lose its damage bonus of 40% against enemies with red bars.

Meanwhile, the Lightfall Exotic “Vice Stinger” is still broken and not fully usable five weeks after the release.
Much worse than the bug itself was the fact that Bungie confirmed the bug upon the Lightfall release, but has since shared no further information about what the cause of the problem is or when a solution will come. Only when players publicly pressed for it did the developer respond.

Bungie admits that it’s very complicated
A fix is already planned: Meanwhile, Bungie has commented on the issue with the Lightfall Exotic “Vice Stinger”. Both on Reddit and on Twitter, the developer has now informed the players that fixing this issue is very complicated and has taken more time than expected.
On Twitter, Bungie even got more specific and provided an exact date for the fix of the Lightfall Exotic.
For the upcoming patch this week, a fix is planned to address a problem that caused “Malicious Touch” and “Vice Stinger” to deal less damage to smaller enemies than intended. Red bar enemies will once again live in fear of this Exotic, as nature intended. After the update: Be afraid. Be very afraid.
This means that on Thursday, March 30, 2023, after the planned downtime with patch, the weapon should function properly again. One can only hope that the last sentence in Bungie’s message is really only meant for the enemies and not as an omen for the weapon owners.
How can you get the Exotic “Vice Stinger” in Season 20? Currently, Bungie has not created a way to obtain the exotic auto rifle without the Lightfall DLC. Therefore, it will likely remain exclusive to the Guardians who purchased Lightfall before February 28, 2023 or later in the version with the annual pass.
However, it cannot be ruled out that a new option will be available in the near future to make the weapon accessible to other players who joined the DLC later or do not own Lightfall.

The open beta of Diablo 4 has ended and left many fans feeling empty. They want more, finding everything else boring now. MeinMMO explains whether there are any further tests and when you can play again.

The open beta ran from March 17 to 20 for pre-order customers and from March 24 to 27 for everyone for free. The servers were shut down for the last time at 9:00 PM on March 27.
When is the next beta? According to current information, no further beta is planned. The open beta was already the stress test for the servers to identify problems and improve the release.

When can I play again? The official release of Diablo 4 is on June 6 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. Those who pre-order one of the more expensive versions of Diablo 4 can even play 4 days earlier, on June 2.
The world will also be significantly larger. In the open beta, you only saw about 20% of the map, with the release at least 4 more areas and dozens of additional dungeons added.

Balancing, on the other hand, is currently a point of contention among fans. Information is still lacking on how classes will play at level 50 and in Paragon. But already some voices are calling for Diablo 4 to be harder:

I was able to test the EPOS GTW 270 extensively for MeinMMO. The processing quality is excellent, as both the charging case and the in-ears are made of aluminum instead of cheap plastic. The sound also impresses me.
The only annoying aspect is the asynchronous wireless connection: If you want to listen to music or sound with just one in-ear, you will inevitably have to use the right earbud, as the left one gets turned off.
What do I find so great? What I particularly like is the flexibility of the in-ears: Thanks to the USB dongle, you can easily use the headphones with PC, PS5, and Switch. This is especially practical for someone like me who often uses multiple devices.
You can use the headphones with the dongle on any device and are not limited in their use. And it’s extremely simple: As soon as the dongle is plugged in and the charging case is opened, the headphones connect right away. Meanwhile, EPOS has also pushed out an update so that you can use the microphone of the in-ears while gaming. But you shouldn’t expect too much from the microphone; I always sound a bit thin.
Currently, there are few good alternatives on the market
With the VR P10 Wireless Gaming Earbuds from soundcore, there is at least a promising alternative for around 100 euros, which can also be used with the PS5 thanks to an adapter. However, in terms of processing, these fall behind EPOS.
Another alternative would be the Razer Hammerhead HyperSpeed. They offer low latency and surprisingly good sound for such a small setup.
Otherwise, I still place my hopes directly on Sony. Because allegedly, official in-ear headphones for the PS5 from Sony are supposed to come in the near future:

What has changed since then? The series has been around since 2008. Previously, tractors were primarily advertised at agricultural trade shows and in industry publications, where potential buyers could evaluate them.
But now the Farming Simulator has become a way for many farmers to look around the market and test what they might want to buy later. Farmers play the simulation, drive a virtual tractor or another piece of equipment, and then consider acquiring it for their own farm.
This has led to developers now being actively contacted by manufacturers looking to advertise their products in the game.
The marketing chief Wolfgang Ebert says in an interview with Guardian:
In the beginning, we had to ask manufacturers if we could include them in the game. Today, we have to consider whom to include and what benefits it has for the game – We have many, many brands that want to be part of it.
Because the company only has resources to feature about 500 products in the PC, Xbox, and PlayStation versions, and only about 130 for the handheld version.
As the Guardian reports, 25 million copies of the series have now been sold, and some farmers have apparently found their new tractor in the game.
But does the equipment in the game correspond to the real experience? According to the developers: Yes. The developers say that they now receive detailed technical plans for their new products, allowing them to simulate them perfectly.
What do the developers gain from it? Among other things, money. They do not disclose details about how much companies pay for appearing in the game, but it is enough to cover the development costs.
What’s behind it: Apparently, the Farming Simulator is not only lucrative because customers pay for it, but also because companies spend money to be featured in the simulation. This is the huge advantage of being so dominant in a niche that there is no way around the product.
However, this very special situation raises some questions:
What happens if a new tractor is particularly good but doesn’t appear in the game? Because the company can’t afford the advertising.
What happens if a new tractor is actually not good, but performs much better in the game than in reality?
The Swiss company has a responsible position here. Because new tractors are expensive investments on which the well-being of farmers can depend.

Unity was considered one of the most anticipated titles in its series
Why did Assassins Creed Unity become a flop? To understand why Assassins Creed Unity flopped, one must go back to the beginnings of development. Ubisoft began developing Unity in 2010 with a team led by Alex Amancio and James Therien. At that time, it was supposed to be one of the first titles to utilize the new hardware of the then next-gen consoles.
A beautiful graphic that didn’t quite exist in the game.
The setting was the French Revolution, and a new engine was developed for the graphics to create more realistic moments. There was also no shortage of new features, and the team designed a parkour system to give fans even more freedom in movement.
Although these aspects seemed very appealing at first glance, the team faced a major challenge, which was the specifications of the new consoles. According to James Therien, they did not know how powerful the consoles would be, and thus the teams behind Unity worked without a direct benchmark for the performance of the next-gen.
The game was still unknown at that time, and no one except Ubisoft knew about it until leaks on March 19, 2014, reached the gaming site Kotaku (via kotaku.com) and revealed some images along with the title.
After the leak, Ubisoft confirmed the game and also released the trailer for Unity at E3. Fans were ecstatic, and pre-orders skyrocketed despite the approaching release in October.
Everything seemed to be going according to plan until the gaming site GameSpot (via gamespot.com) released videos a few days before the release demonstrating massive bugs in the game:
This led Ubisoft to delay the release by a few days and even gift players the first DLC. Despite the delay and many patches afterward, the game is still in a desolate state today and marks a point for Ubisoft where the development of their games should take a new direction.
One might think that Ubisoft developed Unity for a platform that at the time was not powerful enough.
What were the titles after Unity? After Unity, in 2015, came the title Assassins Creed Syndicate, which was not quite as modest. Then came titles like Origins and Odyssey (via wikipedia.com) with larger maps and new settings that enjoyed a longer development time. Valhalla, which feels like a Dark Souls, also excited players. Thus, no further game from the Ubisoft franchise overshadowed Unity.

Digital Extremes, the developers of Warframe, are working behind the scenes on a new MMORPG: Soulframe. Many details about it have not been revealed so far. However, first gameplay was shown in a livestream, without a major announcement.
The new gameplay now shows a warrior with sword and magic defeating various opponents. According to the developers, there will be a strong focus on melee combat. The combat system feels rather sluggish. With its long and sweeping attacks, it seems less dynamic than Warframe and more akin to Elden Ring or New World.
