However, Ubisoft remained true to its successful series, ensuring that Assassin’s Creed, like FIFA, resembles nothing but a lifeless copy of one after another, without taking risks or experimenting.
In contrast, Elden Ring deviates from the principle of stagnating innovation and was released at the right time.

FromSoftware is known for its “Dark Souls” series. Hardcore games usually played only by fans due to their difficulty. Hidetaka Miyazaki, the father of the Souls games, had something different in mind for Elden Ring.
It was meant to offer not only a new story but also to mix familiar elements of the Souls games and come together into something new with an open world. This risk of possible failure was taken and is now evident thanks to the sales figures and the success.
Elden Ring was a fresh start. A new title without a prehistory, where players could approach it without expectations. This was well received, and big studios should take this to heart. Familiar formulas like FIFA and CoD will always sell well because there are no adequate titles to offer exactly what these titles can.
However, in my opinion, resources should still flow into experiments. New ideas or formulas should be tested that no one has seen before. What would a hack and slay made by Ubisoft look like? The release was confirmed by the developers in the patch notes of the latest update.
When will the wood sled come?
What the developers say: On April 20, Update 4 for Sons of the Forest was released. In the blog post on Steam, the team explains what content the patch brings and how the game will change for you directly. But there is also a look ahead to the future of the game. The wood sled is set to finally be included in the next patch. The team says:
“Also, because we saw a lot of people asking about it – The wood sled is coming back! It is almost ready for its release and will be part of the next patch.”
How good is the sled? In the predecessor, The Forest, this sled was very popular. It offered space for

When will the sled come? Currently, fans expect a release on May 11 with Update 5. That would be three weeks after the last update. Until then, you can take advantage of the improved Kelvin, who can now carry two logs at the same time since Update 4.

The concept of the Ink Mage is intriguing but could lead to bugs
According to the YouTuber, the Ink Mage is expected to come to League of Legends after Naafiri. Riot Games has supposedly worked on his character concept several years ago. The information Big Bad Bear refers to comes from an interview with Riot Meddler about the “Ink Mage” about 5 years ago.
The champion would be able to “draw” his skills with the mouse. However, this mechanic is supposedly too difficult to control in team fights. Therefore, the idea was initially discarded. They kept the option in mind to “revisit it later” (via YouTube).
Additionally, his ultimate would consist of the Ink Mage marking terrain on the map. The YouTuber shows in the video how various shapes are drawn onto the map with the mouse, which then create stone structures.
As the YouTuber notes, such a champion kit would be quite exciting, but he also sees the risk of bugs in a gameplay mechanic where players can draw their own terrain.
Given that the concept was discarded 5 years ago, it seems that it was not technically possible at that time to incorporate such a complex gameplay mechanic into LoL. Perhaps the developers have found a way to implement the idea after all these years and are now equipping the Ink Mage with the kit.
Keep in mind that the information regarding the “Ink Mage” is still purely speculative and no confirmed facts from Riot Games. If the Mage comes, it will be no earlier than 2024, as only 2 new heroes are planned for 2023 and they are already set.

This is the future of Division 2: After not much news about The Division 2 recently, other than unplanned delays, the Ubisoft team revealed the future of The Division 2 and other franchise projects like The Division: Heartland during their “Division Day” livestream last night.
From June 2023, players can look forward to a variety of new features that will be released in the form of four different seasons. These will include new challenges, rewards, activities, and even a new DLC.
This is what the roadmap for Year 5 in Division 2 looks like
Season 1 “Broken Wings” will start with the free mode “Descent” for all players and will include a modified bounty.

Season 1 – “Broken Wings” – June to August 2023

In the new bounty, you as Division agents do not have to eliminate the target. Instead, you should save civilians who have been taken hostage by Natalya Sokolova and the Black Tusk. Each person saved by players will unlock more of the story.
The castle settlement will also need to be rebuilt or remodeled, as Mari Singh used it as her headquarters. This will continue throughout Year 5 in The Division 2.
New free mode: Season 1 will also bring the new and free mode “Descent” into play. This is a rogue-lite mode that is structured as a simulation.
In this simulation of “Descent,” you must fend off hordes of enemies as a Division agent, alone or in a group with 4 players, in hopes of receiving better loot.
You must wisely choose between different talents and weapons to improve your build and tackle increasingly challenging fights.

Season 2 brings you a new incursion in Meret Estate. Not much is known yet about it. However, there will likely be another confrontation with the Cleaners. A clothing event has also been announced again.

Back to New York: Aaron Keener, the main antagonist from the “Warlords of New York” expansion, apparently hasn’t had the last word.
Thus, in Season 3, you as a Division agent must return to New York City over the holidays. There, more secrets about Aaron Keener and his defectors will be revealed.
During Season 3, there will also be a holiday event with new cosmetics.

Season 4 “Black Diamond” – February 2023 to May 2024
Finally a new DLC: The fourth and final season in The Division 2 Year 5 will then offer players a new DLC and thus also a new story mission.

There are two gates connecting the corners of the map, allowing players to teleport from one corner to the other.
“Tormentors” are new neutral units, similar to mini-boss mobs, that spawn every 20 minutes: Their shields reflect damage back to attackers, and they become stronger with each death.
12 new camps and 2 new outposts are being added.
Additionally, with patch 7.33, a brand new hero type is joining DOTA 2: “Universal Heroes,” who are not specialized in a single attribute but gain 0.6 from each.

What are the reactions? People on reddit are quite baffled. For a “normal update,” somewhat 7.33, this seems to be an extreme amount that is changing:
“I’m shocked they didn’t call it 8.0. The sheer length of the patch notes is staggering, not to mention the map changes themselves.”
“This is a great opportunity for players to come back. They’ve changed so much that everyone will have to relearn for a few weeks.”
“Other MOBAs are making their maps smaller – DOTA 2, the Gigachad, is making them 40% larger. WTF”

Valve seems to have woken up in 2023 as if from a long sleep: First CS2, now such a big update for DOTA 3, things are going well for Gabe’s men.
