This was Haaland’s 35th goal in 31 “Premier League” games. He sets a new goal record that was previously shared by Andy Cole and Alan Shearer, each with 34 goals.
After the match, there was an interview with the broadcaster “Sky Sports”, where further records and video games were discussed.
“I will go home, play a few video games”
What does Haaland say about gaming? When asked about another goal record he could break, Haaland said he doesn’t think about it, as it would drive him crazy. Instead, he will go home and play video games.
We cannot constantly think about these records, then […] I would go crazy. So I don’t think about such things. I will go home, play a few video games, eat something, and then sleep.
Subsequently, in the interview, he was asked which games he is currently playing. Laughing, Haaland replied: “I can’t say that, it’s too embarrassing.”
Unfortunately, the football professional does not reveal later in the interview which games he plays. Of course, the internet has some theories.

What is suspected, could Haaland be playing? Both on Reddit and Twitter, numerous tips are circulating about which game Haaland might be playing – even though most of them are meant to be humorous.
On Reddit, the suggestions like Farming Simulator, Stardew Valley, Euro Truck Simulator 2, and The Sims received a lot of upvotes. Gacha games like Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail were also mentioned. League of Legends was also a topic.
On Twitter, some users are also guessing Call of Duty and FIFA 23, where he could potentially play himself in the latter. Other games mentioned include WoW, Minecraft, and Fortnite.
