Happy Ending in Call of Duty Warzone 2! When a player encounters a cheater in the final circle of the battle royale, the odds are against him. Every bullet from the opponent hits, and the player goes down. The situation seems hopeless, but then the anti-cheat kicks in.
It is no great secret that free-to-play titles often have issues with cheaters and hackers. They simply create a new account when their old account gets banned. Verdansk, the first Warzone map, was overrun by cheaters at its release.
On Caldera, the second map, hackers also wreaked havoc. Especially at the beginning of CoD Vanguard, it was terrible. The situation only improved when “Ricochet” was implemented.
Nonetheless, there are incessant discussions about cheaters and hackers. For CoD: MW2 and Warzone 2 are also not free from cheaters. Cheaters often use tools that the anti-cheat does not detect.
A new map is coming to Warzone 2. Ashika Island brings back the popular Resurgence mode:
Cheater threatens to win Warzone, but then the anti-cheat kicks in
The Twitch streamer DyceTV successfully played a round of Warzone. He made it to the final circle, and only one opponent was left. Cautiously, the streamer surveyed the area: there was little cover around him. His opponent had the better position.
At the moment DyceTV peeked over a hill, the first bullets flew in his direction. Every shot was a hit. The streamer pulled back and put on armor plates.
When he came out of cover again, he was immediately fired upon. Then the streamer became suspicious, as something seemed off. In disbelief, he said to his viewers:
This guy just doesn’t miss! … You just don’t miss … Guys, this guy is cheating!
Yo! Why are you cheating? Why are you cheating?
DyceTV
With new armor plates in the vest, the streamer shot back. While he managed to get a few good hits, it wasn’t enough. He went down and tried to revive himself. At that moment, the cheater rushed at him to finish the job. But before the cheater could take the final shot, he disappeared from the game.
Apparently, Ricochet, the anti-cheat from Warzone, detected the cheating and immediately removed the cheater from the match. A last-second rescue and a happy ending for the streamer, who could hardly believe his luck.
