On June 12, Datto uploaded a video to his YouTube channel in which he announced that he wants to take a break. In the 23 minutes, he summarizes his career so far and thanks his community.
Who is Datto? Datto is regarded as an expert on the shooter within the Destiny community. He has been involved since the release of Destiny 1, which is since 2014. Recently, he has upset the players of Destiny, as he is said to be responsible for an increase in difficulty.

What is this update about? The new update for Steam includes all the features that were previously tested in a beta. They are available in both the mobile and desktop versions, as well as on the Steam Deck.

If you are as forgetful as I am, you could write yourself a note saying ‘Take laundry out of the machine!’ and pin it. It won’t disappear, but you can set the transparency so it doesn’t bother you too much.

How can I watch movies while gaming? It’s simple: By opening the streaming service of your choice in the web browser and selecting a movie or video there.
What is this useful for? Not every one of us has multiple monitors, so we always have to choose between gaming and streaming series or movies, if we like to do that on the PC.
With the update for Steam, it is now possible to watch a movie, a series, or YouTube videos even while gaming. Although the window might be quite small, there is surely a lot that you want to watch in the background.
In the web browser, you could also watch tutorials about the game or read guides without having to tab out of the window.
The update starts automatically; alternatively, you can search for updates in the upper bar. Click on ‘Steam’ and then on ‘Check for Steam Client Updates’.
Some players of ARK: Survival Evolved are making serious allegations against the game’s publisher, accusing them of banning 93 players to protect another clan.
What is the accusation? American video game journalist Jake Lucky released a video on June 15, 2023, discussing a potential corruption scandal in the game ARK: Survival Evolved.
Jake Lucky was contacted by a player named “EXFIB0” because he, along with 92 other players, was allegedly wrongfully banned by Snail Games. Snail Games is the publisher of ARK: Survival Evolved and operates, just like the developers “Studio Wildcard”, the official servers of the game.
EXFIB0 suspects a connection between Snail Games and the clan (called “Tribe” in ARK) they were fighting against. They were banned because the publisher is protecting the Tribe (via YouTube).
MeinMMO has asked Snail Games and Studio Wildcard for a statement regarding the allegations. A response is not yet available.

How did the ban occur? EXFIB0 explains to Jake Lucky that he, along with his clan (the Island Boys), attacked the rival Tribe “TEA” – which is notorious in ARK for questionable behavior.
Attacking another clan is not prohibited in ARK and is called a “Raid”. This involves destroying the structures and bases of the opponent and killing their dinosaurs. PvP is part of the game’s gameplay and is allowed on designated servers.
During the raid, “the Island Boys” were ahead and were winning, says EXFIB0. At some point, suddenly all 93 players of the Tribe who were involved in the raid were kicked from the server and globally banned.
EXFIB0 assures Jake Lucky that his Tribe acted fairly and legally. Moreover, the players are only banned on servers provided by Snail Games. Thus, the clan can continue to play without any issues on servers operated by the developer Studio Wildcard, which is why Jake Lucky questions the justification of the ban.
Why is the “TEA” Tribe notorious in ARK? For years, there have been various allegations from the community of the survival game against “TEA” and Snail Games. Players suspect a connection between the ARK publisher and the Tribe. It is said that Snail Games protects TEA.
In 2018, TEA escaped a ban wave that caught many cheaters. TEA remained unscathed, although players posted videos that were supposed to prove that TEA used cheats like an aimbot.
Perfect New World will be the successor of an old MMORPG classic and launched a beta on Steam in May. However, it did not go well, and almost every aspect of the game was criticized. But in a new post, the developers address the criticism and promise 12 significant changes.
However, the first beta, which actually took place under NDA, received a lot of negative criticism:
There was gender lock on the classes. Generally, players felt that 3 classes were too few.
The graphics were pixelated.
There were somewhat lengthy animations in battles, which slightly diminished the action effect. Additionally, the initial fights were too easy.
The game world felt very empty.

In the comments on a beta video, and also on Reddit, the MMORPG was labeled as a worse TERA or a poorer Revelation Online. Comparisons to Bless Online came up repeatedly.
What do the developers say? They are addressing the criticism. In a statement on Discord, they state that they take the feedback very seriously. At the same time, 12 points were mentioned that are set to change in the near future.

More classes, fair PvP, more story and additional character customization
What is supposed to change? The first points in the statement focus mainly on missing content. There should be an expansion of the world map, which will not only bring new areas but also more interactive elements. Additionally, the scenery should become more diverse, for instance, through various buildings and cultural influences.
Already before the beta launch, it was confirmed that more classes are planned. This was re-confirmed, and the developers also want to work on the control and movement of the characters. The combat system should also become smoother and “more satisfying.”
A completely new content addition was announced: a “fair PvP mode”. This will take place in various modes and battlegrounds. The PvP in the predecessor Perfect World mainly took place in the open world.
Improvements were also promised for the story. There should be more side quests that tell their own storyline. Additionally, there should be more lore about the game world through interactions with characters. This aims to enhance the immersion of the game. Furthermore, an option to skip cutscenes will be introduced. This was not possible in the beta.

What kind of game is this anyway? The MMORPG is supposed to become the successor of Perfect World, an MMORPG from 2005 that some people also played in the West because it was free-to-play. It will feature a completely open world that represents a traditional Chinese world, while continually mixing in steampunk elements like airships.
So far, there are 3 classes, each with multiple talent trees. There should be a wide range of skills and combos that you can utilize in the action combat system. In the beta, there were already 14 slots for these abilities, which is significantly more than in New World, Blue Protocol, or Throne and Liberty.

The 20-year-old support player Miyu “Shakespeare” Otomo has just celebrated her debut in the LJL, making history in League of Legends. She now has a chance to be the first woman to go to Worlds.
What has the player achieved? Miyu “Shakespeare” Otomo played in the opening game of her team FENNEL on Sunday, June 11, 2023, in the Summer Split of the LJL. She is the first woman to participate in the top Japanese league.
The support player comes from FENNEL’s Academy team and has been registered as a substitute for the main team since February 2022. She stepped in for the regular supporter Ian “Corporal” Pearse.
How did the debut go? Shakespeare picked Lulu and Yuumi and finished the series with a score of 3/1/22, while FENNEL emerged victorious with 2:0. This gave the team the lead at the start of the LJL (via esports).
Following her successful debut, the 20-year-old celebrated on Twitter: “I am so happy to have won my first LJL match. […] The path I have chosen so far has caused my mother and father great discomfort. I am very happy to achieve such a result now.” (via Dexerto)
Corporal, whom the player had replaced, also praised Shakespeare. On Twitter, he wrote that she had worked hard and did really well.
What happens next? Shakespeare is not only the first woman in the LJL but currently also the only player at all in a World Championship qualifying region. Thus, she now has the chance to be the first female player ever to go to Worlds.
The prerequisites for this would be that she remains part of the main squad and qualifies with FENNEL. This is no easy feat, but with her successful debut, Shakespeare has at least taken a big first step.
While female LoL professionals are still relatively rare, especially in the top leagues, women have repeatedly made their way into the first league, including the late Maria “Remilia” Creveling in the North American LCS and Jeon “DangMoo” Su-jin in the Korean LCK.
On June 14th, a patch for Diablo 4 weakened the XP yield of many dungeons that were important for fast XP farming. However, there are still strong level dungeons.
Leveling up quickly in Diablo 4 has proven to be a repetitive grind task – players played the same dungeons over and over.
So far, this has not worked out optimally. Which dungeons are still suitable for power leveling and why it doesn’t always have to be the same dungeon will be revealed here.

“Killing all enemies” is now the way to level up
Which dungeon should one grind now? There are still some dungeons that can be played quickly and offer a lot of XP. Currently, it is the dungeons where you have to defeat all monsters.
They were bad for leveling before the patch. But the developers have tweaked the system and now more monsters can spawn directly with you at any time – a gift of running XP. Even elite enemies can appear. Elites and their minions provide more XP than normal enemies.
Currently strong for leveling is the dungeon: Demon’s Pull in the south of Scosglen, directly south of the Firebreak estate.
How do you play the dungeon? The first area is slow. Run quickly through the rooms and look for the two totems that you need to defeat. The first area of Demon’s Pull is a loop, which makes it great for farming.
Though parts of the dungeon look slightly different every time, you always have the loop:

In the green-marked area, you have the chance of a shrine event – definitely take it when it spawns. It always promises good extra enemies.
Otherwise, run back to the door (red marking) and enter the second area. Here you have to defeat all monsters, and in the large, rather open area, many monsters can be gathered and wiped out in an XP explosion.
Afterwards you leave the dungeon via the quick choice and reset the dungeon by logging out once and then logging back into the game. If you are in a group, the group leader should leave the group and invite the other players again – then the dungeon is fresh again.
