These times are important today: Today’s update will be released for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. According to current planning, the scheduled downtime is 1 hour and 45 minutes.

This is the exact schedule for today’s maintenance in Destiny 2:
At 4:00 PM German time, maintenance work will begin in the background on all platforms.
From 5:15 PM, the servers will go offline and players will be automatically kicked from all activities.
The update 7.1.0.5 will be deployed during this time and then rolled out gradually.

The ongoing background maintenance will end at 8:00 PM if everything goes according to plan.

What’s new in the Solstice event 2023? As Bungie has communicated, they simplified the armor improvement process for all classes last year. Perfect values with 100 Discipline for the best grenade builds or 100 Recovery to perform better in the Crucible are now easier and accessible to everyone thanks to the event.
In 2023, changes were made to the difficulty level of the event. Bungie worked on both enemy density and the overall difficulty of the ‘Campfire Party’ activity.

Silver branches are earned by completing activities in Destiny 2.

Others argue, however, that such a boycott could ultimately undermine the game and the development of content or distract from more important issues.

Some also fear that the boycott would distract attention from other major issues, such as cheaters, missing content, or connection problems.
This “letting your wallet speak” sounds good, as the player CrackLawliet argues, but it is unlikely to be enough to bring about the desired changes.
He writes in the comments: “The Destiny subreddit, when it functions well, has maybe just 5% of Destiny players reached. It would probably take more than 200,000 upvotes for Bungie to actually take notice.”
He adds that the Destiny subreddit would probably have a collective nervous breakdown if it saw Valorant skin packs for 70–100 dollars or a Modern Warfare 2 operator skin priced at 30 dollars. That’s a whole year of Destiny 2 content just for cosmetics.
And thisisbyrdman sees no reason for a boycott at all, as for him the hell of microtransactions in Destiny simply does not exist.
