Crucible – This is the rotating PvP activity

• Jump into the Crucible and have fun this week in Showdown and Clash.

Active Events: Iron Banner

• This week marks the first Iron Banner of Season 23.
  • There’s a special emblem with bananas to earn and of course the usual wolf battles. Likewise, Lord Saladin has an update with past armors for your collection. So be sure to check in with him this week.
  • Games are played in the new mode “Tribute”.
    • Players can donate sigils at tribute stations to collect points for their team. Accumulating many sigils at once can trigger a hunt phase that activates a special tribute station and increases the value of all deposited sigils for one minute with wonderfully chaotic gameplay. Caution is advised, as the other guardians won’t be the only ones guarding these high-value tribute stations. Caiatl will also be watching you and sending her units onto the field.

Boost of the Week

• So that the dance in the Crucible also brings something, there’s a boost to your ranks in PvP this week.

Endgame: Raid Challenges and Dungeon Rotation

Farmable endgame on a weekly rotation: For all who like it challenging, the so-called legacy rotations await in the endgame. They can be repeated and farmed.

Now that you are back in Season 23 in the dreaming city, you can take care of unfinished business there, such as finding the many hidden chests. Just take a sip of “Queen’s Leaf Tincture” from your inventory and the corruption will reveal new accesses to you.

• Petra Venj can be found in the Rheasilvia area in the dreaming city. The whole zone is in the 3rd curse week. The 4th Ascendant Challenge is to be mastered.

More power level comes automatically: There is no more grinding for power level in Season 23 either. The hard power level cap in Destiny 2 has remained unchanged at 1,810 for several seasons. What you need to know today: Today, Tuesday, Destiny 2 will be temporarily shut down for updates. The servers will not be accessible, and players will be logged out of the game.

Bungie has not been doing its updates weekly anymore. Therefore, there has been no maintenance interruption for two weeks. However, maintenance is still necessary in the long term to implement technical improvements, fix bugs, and ensure the overall stability of the game. Also in light of the upcoming DLC “The Final Shape,” Bungie is working on optimizing its systems:

• Bungie has equipped its data center with new hardware.
• Recently, the Destiny 2 game services have been able to restart automatically as soon as they detect problems.
• Currently, they are working on load and stress tests for The Final Shape and new features to accelerate the recovery of parts of the Destiny infrastructure.

In this article, we have summarized the procedure and schedule for today’s Update 7.3.0.1. This way, you know when you cannot play.

This season will be briefly interrupted today by the update:

Maintenance on 05.12. – All times for the server downtime

These times are important today: Bungie informs its players via Twitter/X about the planned downtime. The planned downtime is 2 hours and 45 minutes.

This is the exact schedule for the maintenance:

• At 14:00, background maintenance will start on all platforms.
• At around 15:15, the servers will go offline. Players will be automatically kicked from the game.

• Activity Ghost mods use placeholder icons.
• Occasionally, Eva Levante’s head may be missing.
• Veist auto rifles can partially rotate out of the screen in the inspection view.
• Players can die by finishers if the enemy dies before the finisher animation is completed.
• The armor mods “Mighty Friends” and “Radiant Light” require at least one armor charge to be activated.
• The resilience stat determines the damage resistance of the previous tier when it is a multiple of 10. A resilience of 100 provides the intended benefit in a reasonable way.
• If you die in the boss arena of the Hypernet Power Strike, the Guardian’s ghost may get stuck in the ground.
• Player name changes are not infinitely customizable via bungie.net. Several “number Guardians” are still waiting for the option to change their player name again, instead of receiving the message “You have no name changes available.”
