Twice a year, GTA Online receives a major update – in summer and winter. This winter, drift races, wildlife, and a well-known character from Liberty City are coming.
What kind of update is this? The winter update 2023 for GTA Online is a content update that brings some improvements for you. Some are available for all players, others only for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and some are only available with the subscription service GTA+.
When will the update be released? A specific date is still pending. It is currently only known that it will be released in December 2023.

What’s in the winter update 2023?
The story: Crimes are still carried out on the streets in GTA Online. You should steal, dismantle, and sell coveted vehicles. Your client is known from Liberty City and goes by the name Yusuf Amir. You know him from GTA IV and The Ballad of Gay Tony.
Steal expensive luxury cars for Yusuf and let his cousin Jamal help you. To keep things less conspicuous, you officially work for Red’s Auto Parts. In this context, there is a junkyard that you can buy. Decide after the thefts whether you want to sell the cars to Yusuf or strip them for parts to sell.
New races: In the world of GTA Online, there is already a wide range of races. Circuits, point-to-point races, stunt races, races with different classes. With the winter update, the selection will be expanded to include drift races. Those who played Need for Speed Underground [2] may perk up now.

You play as an explorer from the early 19th century who is stranded in a hidden land where evolution took a different path. The game world is a procedurally generated island, home to exotic and deadly creatures, jungle-like flora, and hostile natives.

What sets Under a Rock apart? In gameplay, Under a Rock relies on gameplay elements typical of survival games. For example, you can farm resources, craft items, and build your own structures. Cooking food is also part of the game.
Similar to the popular titles on Steam, ARK: Survival Evolved and its UE5 remake ARK: Survival Ascended, you can not only fight the various creatures in Under a Rock, but you can also tame, breed, and use them as mounts.
The most striking difference from ARK is the graphic style of Under a Rock. The game does not aim for a realistic or lifelike design of the game world, but instead opts for a colorful cartoon look reminiscent of Disney films and series.
How is the announcement trailer received? The announcement trailer for Under a Rock has already garnered some comments on YouTube. A large portion of them is quite positive.

In World of Warcraft, a new era has begun – once again, one must say. Because at least for Classic fans, a dream has come true, as they have received a variant of “Classic+” – The Season of Discovery is live. In this season, there are fresh Classic servers, but with many new features.
All over the world, there are new hidden areas, secret treasures, and some new quests, all adorned with little secrets. Additionally, there is a glyph system that allows classes to break out of their pre-defined roles and acquire new spells – for instance, warlocks can become tanks and mages can become potent healers.

WoW Classic: The Devs on the Season of Discovery in Interview
At the beginning, there was great concern that fans might not take it so well. After all, the idea is quite far from the original Classic.
The initial rush to the servers makes it clear: Many want to see this and engage with it.
This is why the season excites: Blizzard did not provide a test realm for this game mode beforehand, so the entire community has to discover all the new features “live”. Although more guides spring up with each passing hour, most new content has yet to be discovered, and you tend to stumble upon something “by chance”.
The likelihood is quite high that you will stumble upon something while playing that hardly any other player has seen before you – these can only be small details or really beautiful secrets.
If you don’t like that, you might as well wait a few more days and then just play “by guide” to collect all the new glyphs or other secrets. However, that would probably ruin much of the appeal that the new mode brings.

What is feared? The community is still skeptical about whether the “Season of Discovery” can keep players’ interest in the long term. Whether the season will truly remain alive for a longer time remains to be seen.
But at least the initial rush is large – and that is already a good sign. Blizzard has even set up a few new realms to manage the rush.

What did the director say in the interview? In the interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the director discussed the hurdles that have recently complicated the work on Constantine 2. He mentioned the personnel changes in the leadership ranks at DC as well as the strikes as factors.
However, he expressed optimism and stated that work on the project is ongoing:
The leadership team at DC has changed, and they have their plans. But fortunately, we managed to gain a little control [over the project] and have started working on some ideas for Constantine 2, which we are very excited about.
We are still at the very beginning, as the strike has stalled the work for a while. We will probably come together again after Thanksgiving and try to realize the project.

In Diablo 4, each item has a fixed attack or armor value as well as a fixed property. All other bonuses on the items are affixes.

Due to the high number of affixes, there is only a small chance that the perfect item for your build will drop.

What is Blizzard working on? Blizzard has not revealed specific plans regarding what changes will be made in the future. However, the development team wants to address the problem that there are currently too many affixes. Whether they will remove or combine affixes has not been disclosed.
Additionally, there should be options to personalize your items. Modifying items is crucial for player progression and would make Diablo 4 overall more exciting. One possibility would be to introduce tools that would allow this.
When will the changes come? Blizzard states that the item changes will not be introduced until Season 4. The team wants to wait so that all changes can be applied at once and not just introduced piecemeal. Only then can a harmonious interplay of all changes be ensured.

Season Ticket: The announcement refers to the fact that there will be a ticket available for purchase every month, which brings you specific bonuses and a limited-time research. The highlights of Patch 5:
Two completely new features are now in the game: a new ending and two new game modes. In the “Custom” mode you can set your adventure yourself, in the “Honour” mode enemies are tougher, bosses have new abilities, and there is a permadeath.
The quasi “new Act 6” takes place half a year after the end of the game. All your companions will be present again, and you can talk to them. For all the decisions you made, there are brand new cutscenes.

The new Honour mode is primarily aimed at players seeking a challenge. Boss enemies receive “legendary actions” – these are special actions in D&D that only such bosses can perform and that they can use several times each round.
If you die in this mode, you will receive an overview of your achievements – the run ends there. You can continue playing, but the “Honour” mode will then end. If you make it to the end, you get an achievement and golden dice as a skin.

What kind of event is this? According to the CoD website, the Holiday Event CODMAS is supposed to bring new challenges and rewards to the Urzikstan map in Call of Duty: Warzone. Some are visible, others are hidden.
„Slay Ride Resurgence“ Limited Time Mode: This mode is supposed to be a festive version of Resurgence – the faster variant of battle royale, where you respawn instead of ending up in the Gulag when shot by an opponent. There, a “series of surprises” will also await you.
Deck the Halls: Throughout Urzikstan, gifts are scattered in so-called “Holiday Boxes”. When players interact with the boxes, a flare will be sent – so be prepared for fights over the gifts. The players who can hold the point the longest will meet Santa Claus – “or at least something that used to be Santa Claus,” it says.
Zombie Santa: If you receive a key during “Deck the Halls”, a “Merry” portal will appear. If you use this, you can take on a zombified Juggernaut Santa. If you defeat this evil incarnation of Santa, you will be rewarded with valuable loot.
Slay Ride: Santa has taken over the train in Urzikstan and distributes gifts to all good players he meets. However, you will encounter severe resistance if you haven’t been good.
Snowball Fights: Everywhere in Urzikstan, you will find deadly snowballs as ground loot, represented by a snowflake symbol on the map. (We envision these snowball fights to be a bit more chaotic and dangerous than the ones we know..)

Will there also be event content in multiplayer? During the 12 days that CODMAS is supposed to last, there will also be a new challenge for the multiplayer of CoD: MW3. Leveling up to 25, Warlocks as Tanks, Mages as Healers
The great, new feature in the Season of Discovery is that the roles of many classes are redistributed. By using 12 runes per class, your abilities change and you suddenly play your class quite differently:
Warlocks, Rogues, and Shamans are now full-fledged tanks
Mages can use their magic to heal
For the Warlock, this works by making the demon form permanent and granting +500% armor. So you will continuously tank as a demon, similar to what was possible briefly in Wrath of the Lich King.
The Season of Discovery is divided into different phases. In the first phase, the maximum level is 25, and you get the Deep Black Cave as a new raid for 10 players. In addition, there will be zone events in the Barrens.
The subsequent phases will go up to level 40, 50, and finally 60. There are also plans to add more runes. The next raid for level 40 is already confirmed as Gnomeregan.
However, Blizzard has not yet revealed when these phases will specifically appear. Currently, around 1-2 months per phase is expected.

Unge started uploading Let’s Plays on YouTube in 2012, mainly about Minecraft. His hobby evolved over time into a career. Meanwhile, the channel “ungespielt” has 3.7 million followers on YouTube, and 1.5 million people follow the streamer on Twitch.
On X (formerly Twitter), he had already been active again since the end of October, sharing updates from his daily life and short videos. He also provided a small update on his time off.
On November 28, he then appeared (almost) unannounced on Twitch and streamed there for an hour. In the stream titled “Small Test Stream, very relaxed,” he reflected on his break and gave a brief insight into his plans for upcoming content. This is how the first stream after the break went: On November 28, Unge streamed on his Twitch channel “ungespielt” relatively spontaneously. He had not informed anyone on YouTube or Instagram. Only on X (formerly Twitter) did he say something about it: “I think I only said yesterday [on X] that I would do a small test stream today, so it’s also quite spontaneous.”
At the beginning of the livestream, he says he is excited; he thought he would do “a little cozy test round, but suddenly so many people show up here.” A “small talk round” is planned, where he wants to report what he has been doing in the last 8 months.

On the Nightingale website, the developers state that the “stress test” is separate from other tests: “If you previously filled out a playtest survey or received playtest keys, you do NOT gain access to the stress test.”

MeinMMO author Mark Sellner was able to watch about 30 minutes of live gameplay of the new survival MMO. A fight in the open world particularly stands out positively in his memory. Two other highlights also caught his eye:
YouTuber Leeroy Matata (26) announced the end of his career in a video from November 28 after coming under criticism. He acknowledges his own mistakes but also makes accusations against Rezo and especially against the Twitch streamer MontanaBlack. He accuses MontanaBlack of portraying himself as a moral authority, while in reality, MontanaBlack is lazy, stupid, and has driven viewers to ruin and suicide.

YouTuber Leeroy has 2.43 million subscribers on YouTube; he was long part of the public broadcasting project “Funk”.
On his channel “Leeroy wants to know,” he addressed serious topics since 2018. In the format, he met and interviewed people with unusual fates. He also staged confrontations between individuals with extreme views, including criminals and victims.
Now he has announced the end of his career. He no longer wants to produce YouTube videos and will withdraw from social media. He cites the increased pressure from the public as the reason.

Intense criticism of Leeroy by other YouTubers
What was the criticism directed at him? Leeroy has faced significant criticism from other YouTubers in recent months for several videos and statements:
He allegedly misrepresented the story of a young man who had his legs lengthened. He purportedly showed that the man could not walk well. To illustrate this, images were shown immediately after the operation. The man can now walk much better and felt misrepresented in the piece.
Additionally, Leeroy conducted an interview with the last survivor of the Hitler assassination attempt. Critics argued that the survivor used the opportunity to distort history and downplay the Holocaust. Leeroy was accused of not intervening here.
Furthermore, Leeroy allegedly provided a platform in confrontational formats for a zoophile, which appeared to suggest that the sexual abuse of animals is a controversial opinion one can hold, rather than a crime.
Critical videos about Leeroy’s content achieve high view counts on YouTube.
Leeroy says: He is not a journalist, but a YouTuber
This is what Leeroy says now: In the YouTube video, Leeroy admitted his own mistakes. He stated that he made the mistake of accepting the label “journalist” that was imposed on him from the outside. This came with expectations he could not meet.
He is not a journalist but makes YouTube videos to entertain and bring topics to the public.
He has learned from some mistakes: After a format with an AFD politician, he realized that he should not invite politicians because they always use the opportunity to promote themselves. Following the criticism of this video, he stopped inviting politicians.
In the criticized video, he vehemently opposed the AFD man in the “rough cut,” but this was later removed from the video to avoid appearing biased. He wanted people to be convinced by the stronger arguments. He regrets this in hindsight.
“That was a mistake. I understand why many people wanted me to take a clear stance in such a video.”
Nevertheless, he feels unjustly criticized and misrepresented by some YouTubers. His work, which has often had positive effects, is reduced only to the negative.

This is what he says against Rezo: Leeroy seems particularly disappointed with Rezo. They had met once, and Rezo expressed his appreciation for Leeroy.
Now, however, Leeroy accuses Rezo of having said in front of millions that Leeroy promotes gambling. He deeply rejects gambling. Rezo, he claims, did not know the context of the situation, made false conclusions, and made accusations live:
“In the end, Rezo casually states in front of millions of people that I am advertising for casino and gambling. And the accusation he simply throws out disappoints me greatly, as I have met so many affected by gambling addiction.”
Leeroy asks: Rezo can destroy the entire CDU, but can’t spare 5 minutes for research on this topic or make a quick phone call?
He accuses the YouTuber: Rezo has no interest in improving or changing Leeroy’s content. It was only about criticizing, profiling himself, and making money.

This is what Leeroy says against MontanaBlack: Leeroy has a particular grievance with MontanaBlack.
He is annoyed by criticism from MontanaBlack, who commented on the video with the zoophile who violates dogs.
“Just think about it; you call me an accomplice of such sick shit in front of millions. That just doesn’t register in my mind.”
MontanaBlack watched YouTuber videos about Leeroy on Twitch and reacted to them.
MontanaBlack is lazy – he didn’t even watch the video himself, only saw a reaction. Thus, he spreads a lot of misinformation.
Moreover, MontanaBlack is “stupid,” believing that the “30 under 30 list” by Forbes is about representing the richest people under 30, when he could have found out in 3 seconds of Google that it’s not about that, but about influential people.
Leeroy also accuses MontanaBlack of wildly speculating about possible reasons instead of simply asking him why a statement comes only after 2 weeks.
Fellow YouTubers are annoyed that MontanaBlack, with his reach, can reach so many people who then believe things that turn out to be false and which Leeroy, with his lesser reach, cannot correct.

MontanaBlack has made millions driving others into gambling addiction
Leeroy finds it particularly audacious that MontanaBlack judges him morally. He is in no position to do so. MontanaBlack is said to have earned millions of euros by driving others into gambling addiction and thus into suicide.
“Instead of philosophizing in streams about what I might earn, you should rather estimate how many people you, dear Monte, as a casino junkie have driven into gambling addiction. MontanaBlack still seems to have a divided opinion on gambling. He explained in 2022 why his gambling on Twitch was okay, but the current actions of other streamers are not.

Today, November 30, Patch 5 for Baldur’s Gate 3 could still be released. The update will include a ton of changes and bug fixes. So many that Larian is issuing a warning in advance for anyone who might have insufficient storage space.
This is how big Patch 5 will be: The patch is supposed to be “only” about 30 GB – which is a considerable size by itself. However, a total of 130 GB is required for the download and installation. The game itself is only about 125 GB in size.
Larian says on X: if you don’t have that much storage space, you should simply uninstall Baldur’s Gate 3 and then download the new version with Patch 5 again.
In general, you do not need the new patch to play, as Baldur’s Gate 3 can also be played standalone. However, it is advisable to restart the game at the patch launch time and load the patch. If you do not do this, you run the risk of being excluded from all your save files.

Fireteam Finder in stress test from November 30
When does it start? Some wanted to use the Finder immediately, as it was already integrated since Tuesday, the start of Season 23. However, the system did not work, it was still inactive.
The official tests of the system only begin today, on November 30, at 18:00.
Bungie will start an initial intensive raid stress test tonight from 18:00 until December 1 at 02:00. The stress test will cover all raids to which you have access.
The official beta phase will then start in December, depending on the results of the first raid stress test.
If everything runs smoothly, you can expect the full release at the end of January.
Bungie may update the above schedule based on the tests and will inform you through the TWiDs and social media. We will, of course, update our article for you when there is something new, so you stay informed.
Players can search for activities with the LFG system.
Anyone can test: As Guardians, you have one of the rare opportunities to preview items in Destiny 2 before the full release. So don’t hesitate to test the system extensively to help identify potential weaknesses.
However, Bungie also added a “we haven’t done a Bungie beta yet” note.
It was noted that with such an extensive beta, there are of course countless scenarios in which the testing may need to be stopped prematurely. They therefore ask for patience and hope that you will use the test as an opportunity to give early feedback to the developers while the bugs in the system are fixed.

How to access the Fireteam Finder
There are two ways to access the Fireteam Finder:
From the navigator via the overview page.
Through the Fireteam Finder, which can be found on the start screen of each activity.

In today’s stress test, there is also only the stripped-down version. However, the goal for the final release is to gradually add more features, such as emojis.
A small emoji list can soon enhance your LFG requests.
Why does the system still need to be tested? Here it was said that the implementation of this system was not as easy as many think. During the development of the Fireteam Finder, Bungie reportedly encountered many unexpected technical challenges. Yet the planned release was approaching.
The developer faced a difficult decision: to delay the release of the Fireteam Finder even further – or to ask the Guardians for help by giving them the opportunity to extensively test the system to identify bugs faster than with internal tests.
Bungie concluded that it’s better to bring you along than to keep you waiting. They also admitted that “it’s just hard to test social features on a large scale in a studio; you need hundreds of thousands of people to test them properly.” This has been done quite unnoticed in the past with cross-save, the Bungie friend list, and cross-play.
The beta phase and the accompanying stress test will show how well the system works and what possibilities will open up for the Guardians. Solo players can particularly look forward to an improved gaming experience that enables them to enjoy the full range of activities in Destiny 2.

What kind of game is this?
In The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos, you play a group of adventurers who are supposed to complete important tasks… but are only partially suitable for that.
At its core, the game is a tactical RPG, similar to Baldur’s Gate 3: battles are turn-based, each character has special abilities, and dialogues with other characters advance you in the story.
Unlike most RPGs, however, Dungeon of Naheulbeuk doesn’t take itself too seriously, which you may have already noticed from the name.
What makes Dungeon of Naheulbeuk special: The role-playing game is based on an audio comedy series by the French author John Lang, in which primarily well-known RPG tropes were meant to be parodied.
This is particularly evident in Dungeon of Naheulbeuk. You don’t play a group of world-savers, but absolute anti-heroes who carry every cliché that exists:
the brave leader thinks he is much better than he actually is
the sneaky rogue is absolutely paranoid and trusts nothing and no one
the pretty elf huntress wears noticeably little and pays more attention to her appearance than anything else
the dwarf warrior is strong, but incredibly greedy and can’t keep his hands off any treasure
the barbarian of the group… smashes. Thinking isn’t really his thing
Unlike Baldur’s Gate 3, the game uses comic graphics and a lot of humor. It is meant to be primarily entertaining. There is an exciting story, but the jokes and silly conversations of the characters are the highlight.

On Steam, The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet Of Chaos has a rating of 88 % and is thus “very positive,” although recent reviews are declining somewhat. Players particularly praise the “cute and quirky” nature of the game and that it runs smoothly even on weak tech.
Especially great is the feeling that you are really in a Dungeons & Dragons group: everyone really knows the silly jokes and exaggerated characters. Especially on sale, you shouldn’t miss out on the game:
I have been playing the game myself for a while and must say that the German full voice acting is particularly great. The voice actors embody the characters excellently, and I find the narrator with a French accent especially charming. This shows a bit: the studio stays true to its roots and plays with its origin.
The biggest downside for me so far is the combat system, which relies heavily on cover and positions. I think there could be more here, but all in all, I feel well entertained.
While I haven’t had the chance to play Dungeon of Naheulbeuk particularly long, I was entertained excellently even in the first hours. I laughed far more than in most games I have played so far.

Hideo Kojima, the creator of Metal Gear Solid and Death Stranding, expressed his excitement on X.com (formerly Twitter) about the new animated series Blue Eye Samurai on Netflix. He particularly appreciated the timeless theme and the complex characters.
Blue Eye Samurai by Blist is an animated series that premiered in early November 2023 on Netflix. It follows the revenge quest of the samurai warrior Mizu, who seeks to take revenge on the men responsible for her mother’s death.
The series is rated 16 and is inspired by classic samurai and revenge films. Blue Eye Samurai is aimed at a more adult audience and also features brutal fights with plenty of bloodshed.

Blue Eye Samurai has, in his opinion, reached a new level after Spider Man: Spider-Verse and Arcane in terms of animated films and series for an adult audience.
The theme and message behind the series “Is the vengeful demon a demon or a samurai? Is he really a monster?” is still relevant today, even though the series is set in Edo (Tokyo) in the 17th century.
Finally, Kojima has kind words for the characters of the series. Although he initially did not like the characters Ringo, Taigen, and Akemi, he found himself sympathizing with them more and more as he learned more about their backstories.
In conclusion, the game creator makes a recommendation for Blue Eye Samurai and states, “If you don’t watch it, you’re missing something.”
