A player discovered a twist in the story of Starfield that they did not know, but they had to play the game 33 times to find it
Who is it about?
- The user “NikoMueller” is a true super fan of Starfield. On his profile on X.com (formerly Twitter), he shares countless posts about the Sci-Fi role-playing game from Bethesda.
- Already in September 2023, a post from NikoMueller received much attention from the RPG community, because he built an outpost that was as large as a city.
- By now, he claims to have completed Starfield 33 times and is currently on his 34th run (NG+33).
Now, NikoMueller once again reached out to his nearly 14,400 followers on X.com because the main story of the game took a turn in his 34th run that he had never seen before.
Attention, spoiler: We will discuss the New Game+ of Starfield here, which holds various surprises for players. So it is quite possible that you will be spoiled if you continue reading.
Player meets a “new” person in the lodge
What was that twist? The New Game+ (NG+) of Starfield offers some surprises for players, as with each end you enter a new version of the multiverse, which in turn holds new dialogues.
In the individual versions, changed circumstances prevail, which you can particularly discover in comparison to your first run. In his 34th run, NikoMueller discovered a universe in which he meets a voiced version of his own character in the lodge, who turns around and speaks to him.
If you want to see the scenes, we are embedding NikoMueller’s post on X.com here:
It is even possible to take that version of your character as a crew member on your ship. Instead of the usual companions of Starfield, Sarah Morgan, Vasco, or Sam Coe, you have yourself along.
Overall, many things can change in NG+. For example, some members of Constellation might face a tragic fate. Other characters choose to betray you, even though you were friends or even lovers in other universes.
Fan was unlucky to see the version only after 33 runs
Can you get this version before the 34th run? Yes, the player was just unlucky that he had not encountered this version in his previous runs.
It may therefore be that you encounter a version of your own character in your next NG+. Similarly, it is possible that you had this experience already in a previous NG+.
While NikoMueller keeps replaying Starfield and exploring various versions of the multiverse, other players complete the RPG in unique ways:
Player completes Starfield with only one skill, which most don’t even know
