Pokémon GO launches the new season ‘Timeless Travels’. We summarize what you can expect from the new season.
When does the season start? ‘Timeless Travels’ starts on December 1, 2023, at 10:00 AM local time and runs until March 1, 2024, at 10:00 AM local time. So it all starts this Friday.
What is the highlight? The Hisui region will be a major focus of the new season. This is the past form of the Sinnoh region, which we know from the game ‘Pokémon Legends: Arceus’.
It is already clear that some Hisui forms will appear in this season. These can also be seen in the current trailer for the new season:
Additionally, the ‘GO Tour 2024’ is hinted at – with references to the legendary Palkia and Dialga, who govern space and time. They are also the focus of the Sinnoh region.
It is conceivable that after the Kanto, Johto, and Hoenn tours, we will get the Sinnoh tour next.
What does the new season ‘Timeless Travels’ bring to Pokémon GO?
Boni: There will be five permanent bonuses during the season that trainers can utilize.
- A guaranteed XL candy when trading Pokémon, for trainers from level 31
- An additional candy per trade
- An increased chance of XL candies in level 5 raids that you complete onsite
- Extra XP for a 7-day series at PokéStops
- More XP and Stardust for the 7-day catch series
Hisui Pokémon: Some monsters from the region will appear. For example, the following events are coming:
- A raid day with Hisui-Admurai on December 3, 2023
- A raid day with Damythir on December 23, 2023
Moreover, Hisui-Tornupto and Hisui-Silvarro are also shown in the trailer. They are likely to debut as well.

Pokémon GO Tour: Based on the trailer, it is expected that the next GO Tour will deal with the Sinnoh or Hisui region. However, there is no specific information on this yet. Currently, a countdown for the topic ‘GO Tour’ is running, which ends on November 29, 2023, at 3:00 PM. It is assumed that further information may be released then.

Community Days: The Community Day in December 2023 will bring back numerous monsters from past Community Days. There are already additional C-Day dates known, but not yet the Pokémon for them.

Season Ticket: The announcement refers to the fact that there will be a ticket available for purchase every month, which brings you specific bonuses and a limited-time research. Here, you should be able to build up a ‘stock of items like incubators’ and encounter Hisui Pokémon. More is not yet known about this.
