The release of the full version of Palworld has brought many players back to the world, but they find the cuddly game with sharp weapons too easy. Therefore, many are currently adjusting a setting.
What is too easy for them? Players of Palworld currently find the monster collector too easy. In a post on Reddit, a user describes the problem. One levels up their character so quickly that they sometimes unlock mines, making it obsolete to search for ores and build a base there.
This leads players to focus on leveling rather than exploring, quickly reaching high tiers of equipment and weapons. This, in turn, allows players to reach the endgame quickly and also challenge bosses swiftly.
Some players are said to have reached the endgame or even the end of Palworld during the first weekend, even though they did not aim for a speedrun.

A setting should improve Palworld
What kind of setting is this? Players agree that they are gaining experience points too quickly. For this reason, they are discussing in the comments of the post about the perfect setting. Palworld allows every player to simply change how many experience points they should receive.
Just select your save game, but before loading into the world, click on Change world settings at the bottom. There, you set the XP gain to your desired value in the custom settings for difficulty.
What value is good? The default value is 1.0, which many on Reddit, as mentioned, find too easy. If you prefer it moderately more difficult, set this slider to 0.5. However, most fans believe that 0.3 is the perfect setting, as it allows leveling together with their Pals.
Additionally, this creates a real necessity to build bases for certain resources, which comes closer to the true purpose of the game.
