Palworld had a strong start after the release of version 1.0. The game currently captivates so many players that it is achieving impressive numbers in the Steam charts.
How successful is Palworld right now? According to the Steam charts from SteamDB, Palworld has almost 500,000 players and 855,525 simultaneous active players at its 24-hour peak, placing it second among the most played games, only kept from the throne by Counter-Strike 2 (1.3 million as a 24-hour peak). However, this means it can leave hits like Dota 2 and PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS behind.
What Palworld can still use to compete against the number 1: player satisfaction based on the rating on Steam. While CS2 has a quite positive rating of 85.81%, Palworld achieves a strong 93.41%.
After a strong start in Early Access 2 years ago, player numbers are rising again since 1.0
What have the player numbers looked like since the launch of 1.0? From the release on Friday, July 10, to the peak the next day, Palworld attracted a total of 725,000 players. On Sunday, the numbers even rose further, to the already mentioned 855,525 simultaneous active players.
While this cannot compare to the 2.1 million players at the Early Access launch, it does ensure that besides the Early Access start (3rd place), the 1.0 launch (would be 14th place, ahead of Battlefield 6) now belongs to the top 15 of the best launch player numbers on Steam.
Palworld was able to impress not only many but especially enthusiastic players right after the launch of 1.0.
