Many use the Palworld Pal Dumud Guild to farm gold passively. However, the community shows that this is not necessarily the best way to quickly make money.
What better ways does the community show? User Vospader998 shares on Reddit his discovery that he amassed a fortune with High-Quality Fabric. For this, he put the Pal Sibelyx on the farm, which produces around 3-10 such fabrics with each drop. According to his statement, this is a significantly better method of farming gold than breeding and selling Dumud Guilds at the Pal trader. Many commentators agree with him.
Although the Dumud Guild method is still considered the gold standard for money farming, as the breeding time is clearly shorter than the production time of Sibelyx, the Sibelyx method offers some advantages that should not be overlooked and that make it a better long-term way if you want less work. This is because, unlike the Dumud Guild method, the Sibelyx method offers significantly more convenience.
Less active work than with Dumud Guild
What makes the Sibelyx method more lucrative? Although you have a little work with Sibelyx until you make decent money, it runs passively, and you only need to invest a little active time. You can then simply collect and sell your fabrics when you are in the warehouse, instead of having to actively work in your gold farm in a loop.
Thus, the method offers the following advantages:
- You do not consume additional resources in the form of cakes that you need to produce for breeding Dumud Guilds. Sibelyx consumes the same food as all other Pals in your base.
- You do not always have to actively collect and hatch eggs from the breeding station.
- You only need the farm and the Pals, no additional buildings like hatcheries or breeding farms.
- You do not consume spaces in the Pal box.
- You can use your breeding station to breed powerful Pals instead of for gold (that is, you do not need to build an additional one for gold farming).
- You do not need additional Pals in your team to optimize the output.
- You can sell the fabrics directly to the trader where you also want to buy, and you do not have to look for a Pal trader first.
- You only need to level Sibelyx once per Pal and will always benefit from it when you want to maximize the outcome, whereas you would have to level each Dumud Guild anew to receive more gold.
A single fabric sells for about 264 gold. A full stack of 9,999 is worth 2.5 to 3 million gold without buffs. If you then have Pals with the passive skills “Noble” or “Fine Fur” in your active team, you can further increase your income when selling.
In summary, while Sibelyx farming is not the absolute fastest method to generate the most gold in the shortest time (active breeding and leveling of Dumuds is superior here), it offers by far the most convenient ratio between minimal effort and maximum return.
What should be done to make it really worthwhile? To maximize your income from High-Quality Fabric, it is advisable to bring the farming ability of your Sibelyx to the maximum level. It can also be worthwhile to breed Sibelyx with the passive skills “Insomnia” and/or “Workhorse” to increase their efficiency.
