How do most players farm gold? The most common method to quickly farm large amounts of gold is to breed the Pal Dumud in large quantities and sell them to the Pal vendor.
This method, however, requires relatively much active input from the player, which is why some players recommend another way to farm a lot of gold passively and with little effort.
Which method is better for comfortably farming gold? As user Vospader998 shares on Reddit, selling high-quality fabric is also a great way to farm gold quickly and easily. For this, you need:
- Some well-leveled Sibelyx with a high farm rank
- One or more farms
- Some time
Then regularly collect the gathered fabric from the chests in your storage and sell it to a vendor of your choice.
How much gold can you make this way? A single fabric sells for about 264 gold. A full stack of 9,999 is already worth over 2.6 million gold without buffs. If you then have Pals with the passive skills “Noble” or “Fine Fur” in your active team, you can further increase your income when selling.
How much fabric do Sibelyx produce? Individual Sibelyx produce an average of about 3 – 10 fabrics per production cycle at farm level 10.
What are the advantages of the Sibelyx method compared to Dumud Gild? Compared to the Dumud Gild method, which requires much active input from the player, this method is almost entirely passive, allowing players to spend their time differently.
Other significant advantages include:
- You do not use additional resources in the form of cakes, which you have to create first for breeding Dumud Gilds. Sibelyx uses the same food as all other Pals in your base.
- You do not have to constantly retrieve and hatch eggs from the breeding station.
- You only need the farm and the Pals, no additional buildings like incubators.
- You do not use slots in the Palbox.
- You can use your breeding station to breed powerful Pals instead of for gold, and do not need to build another one.
- You do not need additional Pals in your team to optimize the output.
- You can sell the fabric directly to the vendor with whom you also want to shop, without having to visit a Pal vendor first.
- You only need to level Sibelyx once per Pal and will always benefit from it if you want to maximize outcome, whereas you would have to re-level each Dumud Gild to get more gold.
What should you do to make it really worthwhile? To maximize your income from high-quality fabric, it is advisable to level up the farming ability of your Sibelyx to the maximum level. It can also be worthwhile to breed Sibelyx with the passive skills “Insomnia” and/or “Workhorse” to increase their efficiency.
Which method should you choose? In summary, while Sibelyx farming may not be the absolute fastest method to generate the most gold in the shortest time (here, actively breeding and leveling up Dumuds is superior), it offers by far the most comfortable balance between minimal effort and maximum yield. Which method is better depends on what is important to you and what suits your playstyle.
