Jean Grey is one of the first mutants who made her debut thanks to Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1963 – back then she was mostly referred to as Marvel Girl. As a child, her X-gene was activated during a tragic event, granting her telekinetic abilities.
With her power, she belongs to the class of Omega-Level mutants, the strongest beings in the Marvel Universe. She can manipulate feelings and memories, read and control thoughts, and also actively attack with telekinesis. Additionally, she has a connection with the Phoenix Force, a cosmic entity of the multiverse.
When she is the host of this power, she can even alter reality with her abilities. This makes Jean Grey a significant threat, as depending on the storyline, she may not be able to control it, and if a mistake occurs, she could simply erase everything. Thus, she shares a burden often attributed to the Hulk.
