Christoph takes you back to the past: In Pentiment from Obsidian Entertainment (Fallout: New Vegas, The Outer Worlds), you play the artist’s apprentice Andreas, who arrives in the small Bavarian town of Tassing in the 16th century to solve a murder. To do this, you speak to many residents, gather clues, and solve puzzles.
The twisty story will keep you engaged for around 15–20 hours and gives you the feeling of being part of a work of art. This is partly due to the graphic style, which is inspired by woodcuts and paintings from that time. Different fonts also indicate the education level of the NPCs. Pentiment is particularly charming for story fans, offering a delightful trip into the past.
