In Forza Horizon 6, the festival playlist for the Winter Season has started. We show you on MeinMMO how you can easily complete the various challenges.
What does the festival playlist offer? With the festival playlist, like in the predecessor, a series of challenges starts that reward you with powerful and limited rewards. They often require you to complete various races or activities in the open world.
For professional race drivers, these tasks are easy to solve, but if you often fail at the same challenge, it may be wise to take recommendations from the community – especially when it comes to tuning cars.
Weekly Challenge
In the Weekly Challenges, there are four challenges that you must complete one after the other. We will now show you how to approach them quickly and without much stress.
Own and drive the 2020 BMW M2 Competition Coupe
As the first part of the weekly challenge, you need to own and drive the 2020 BMW M2 Competition Coupe. However, you cannot purchase it in the car show.
Instead, you will receive it during the campaign as a gift once you obtain the yellow Horizon wristband. Since this is the first wristband you receive during the story, most of you should already have it.
Earn 3 Stars at Speed Traps in the 2020 BMW M2 Competition Coupe
For this challenge, you simply need to race through a speed trap at sufficient speed. Various speed traps qualify for this, which can even be made easier through appropriate tuning. We used the following tuning + setup:
- Code: 381 860 893 3
If you still have trouble reaching the necessary speed, try the speed trap “Ito Straight” on the western edge of the Ito region. Ideally, approach the speed trap with momentum.
Take a photo of your 2020 BMW M2 Competition Coupe
For this part of the weekly challenge, you do not need to know or do anything special. It is as simple as it sounds: just open photo mode and take a photo of the car.
Complete laps at the Soni Time Trial
Travel to the Soni Time Trial in the Takashiro region and simply complete 3 laps. If you have trouble finding the circuit, filter your map for landmarks. The “Soni Circuit” will then be highlighted as a landmark.
Therefore, we provide you a car and a tuning for each stunt, with which we completed the respective activity. However, we did not aim to be as resource-efficient as possible or to always use the same car.
Danger Sign – Mountain Height
The highway jump can be a bit complicated. You need to build up enough speed while approaching (ideally out of a turn). However, with the Subaru Brat GL (1980) and the tuning suggested here, you should be fast enough.
- Subaru BRAT GL (1980)
- Code: 152 100 954
Speed Trap – Temple Climb
Several of the tested cars reliably completed the challenge – especially if you cut the corners a bit and thus can maintain your average speed better through the shortcut. We completed the challenge with the following cars and tunings:
- Subaru BRAT GL (1980)
- Code: 152 100 954
- Mazda RX-7 Type-R
- Code: 878 807 927
- Honda Civic Type R (1997)
- Code: 108 712 730
The tuning of the Subaru Brat is the same tuning we also used for the danger sign. Ideally, you can complete the speed trap with the off-road vehicle, so you do not need to tune a second car.
If you have other recommendations for the various challenges, feel free to share them with the community and write them down. Is there something missing from our guide? Also let us know!
Drag Meet – Irokawa Quarter Mile
You should be able to complete the drag meet at the Irokawa Quarter Mile without problems with various vehicles. You can try the already tuned vehicles for this – both the RX-7 and the BRAT and the Civic easily make the 11 seconds.
Horizon Drift
In the Horizon Drift Challenge, you need to use any Dodge. However, how well you perform is not crucial. You can simply sit out your time with an untuned Dodge.
To participate in a Horizon Drift match, go to: Menu -> Online -> Horizon Play! -> Horizon Drift
The Eliminator
The Eliminator is the battle royale mode of Forza Horizon. You need to play this and finish among the last 30 participants. How you do it does not matter – you can actively challenge and defeat your opponents or hide in a bush, avoid other players, and let as much time pass as possible.

If you want to get the most famous Touge vehicle in the game and want to race down Mount Haruna like Takumi Fujiwara from the anime/manga Initial D, find out in this article on MeinMMO how to unlock his legendary Eight-Six: Forza Horizon 6: How to get the Toyota AE86 FE
During the time trial itself, you do not need to reach a specific target time. If your time is not counted, you may be driving the circuit in the wrong direction.
Photo Challenge
Here you need to take a photo inside the Edogawa Baseball Stadium.
Where is the Edogawa Baseball Stadium? You can find the sought-after baseball stadium in Tokyo!
Important: It is not the big stadium far out in the west of the map!
Collectibles
You need to destroy a total of 5 vending machines. You can mainly find these in Tokyo, around the food delivery location and around the Tokyo Tower in the city center.
Tip: Be careful to only knock over one vending machine at a time when multiple are right next to each other. You need to get the skill “Feed Me” for a vending machine to count, and this sometimes has a small cooldown. So first, carefully knock over one vending machine, wait a few seconds, and then destroy the second.
Season Championships
There is again a series of Seasonal Championships that consist of three races that you need to win.
- Mud Monster (S1|800; Rally Monster)
- Fair Comes First (B|600; Retro Sports Cars)
- The Racing Roma (S2|900; Hypercars)
If you have trouble winning the races, lower the difficulty in free roam – that is, before the race starts. That might help. The difficulty of the championships depends on your pre-set level.
Seasonal PR Stunts
The PR stunts can be a bit tricky, especially since you always have to use a Japanese car at the S1 level with a maximum rating of 800.
Therefore, we provide you a car and a tuning for each stunt, with which we completed the respective activity. However, we did not aim to be as resource-efficient as possible or to always use the same car.
