The popular online game Fortnite is also affected as you need to log in with your PS account to play. As long as authentication does not work, you won’t be able to access the game. We will keep you updated on how it progresses.

On the official status page of PlayStation, there is still no all-clear, as issues persist across all services. Furthermore, AllStörungen is currently receiving over 3,800 reports.

The problems with the PlayStation Network persist – it has now been around for about four to five hours. The first reports on AllStörungen came in around 1 PM. However, there is still no official all-clear or explanation from Sony.

As for logging in, unfortunately, there is still no all-clear. The issues on PS5 continue. The official status page of PlayStation is indicating disruptions, and thousands of reports continue to come in on AllStörungen. At least the number is slowly decreasing: Currently, there are “only” about 3,500 reports.

Today’s update has brought new skins to the shop. If you want to take a look at the new items but cannot access the game on PlayStation, you can check out the Fortnite Wiki. All new items from the shop on July 24, including prices, are listed there.

The disruption reports on allestörungen.de are only slightly decreasing and remain at around 3,700 reports at a high level. The official status page of PlayStation still shows limitations across all services. However, how reliable this information is remains to be seen – after all, the Sony page previously provided incorrect information for two hours.
Since Fortnite is an online game, you will still not be able to log into the game.
Offline titles and disc games continue to run smoothly, and downloads seem to be working. At least Sony plans to eventually eliminate the disc for PlayStation, which is not necessarily a good sign given the current server issues.

Currently, the tech on our PS5 is still acting up. The shop continues to have hiccups, logging into online games is still not working, and PS Plus continues to deny service.
So far, there has been no official response from Sony regarding the exact cause. Let’s just hope for the best and that logging in works again soon.

Sony is now aware of the disruptions: The official status page of PlayStation is now also reporting issues. Here’s what the manufacturer states:
“You may have difficulty downloading products from the PlayStation Store. We are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience.”
The store continues to cause issues, and PS Plus denies service.

Currently, Fortnite is not accessible on PS4 and PS5, meaning you cannot log in.
