Elden Ring’s director says what fans want to hear about the new DLC: 10 new bosses, 8 new weapon types

The head of Elden Ring, Hidetaka Miyazaki, has given an interview about the new expansion of Elden Ring “Shadow of the Erdtree”. Fans have already reacted to it.

What does the boss say about the new DLC? Eurogamer conducted an interview with Hidetaka Miyazaki, the director of Elden Ring.

He says the DLC is, compared to previous DLCs, the “largest expansion so far in terms of overall content.”

The DLC takes place in a new area on a new map: “Regarding the pure surface area, you can imagine something even larger than Limgrave in the original game.”

As a new idea, they are experimenting with blurring the clear separation between open world and dungeons; both will exist, but there will also be something between these two player experiences.

How many new bosses will there be in the DLC? The talk is of 10 new boss fights, along with new weapons, equipment, and skills.
