Will there be an early access?

Yes, a full 5 days before the official release, starting September 30. You can participate in early access by purchasing one of the founder packs. According to an email from NCSoft to us, the start will occur at 3:00 PM. You can read more about the founder packs here:

When is Aion 2’s release in the West?

Aion 2 will be released in its global variant in the West on October 5, 2026. There is no exact statement regarding the launch time yet. However, we assume that the launch servers will also go live at 3 PM.

Will there be a beta beforehand?

The beta has already concluded. It ran on September 17 and 18 for a stress test, which you could register for via Steam. During these times, you could play:

• September 17, 2026
  • 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM CEST
• September 18, 2026
  • 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM CEST (next day)

You were able to download the beta version starting September 16, 2026, at 3:00 PM CEST. Progress will not be carried over to the launch. You will start completely anew.

On which platforms will Aion 2 be released?

Aion 2 will initially be available only for PC via Steam and its own launcher. A mobile version is available for the Korean home market, but it is not expected to come to the West. A port for consoles is in development but is still far from finished. Owners of a PS5 and Xbox will need to be patient.

When was the release in Asia? In South Korea and Taiwan, Aion 2 has been playable since November 19, 2025.
