There is still no trace of the third season of the anime for Solo Leveling. However, for those who want to experience the content in advance, they can now turn to a game adaptation.
Where can you experience the content? The Evolution Update for Solo Leveling Arise is set to be released in May 2026. It will be launched to celebrate the second anniversary of the mobile game and will bring numerous new contents.
What new content is there? The new features include:
- Level boost in Early and Mid-game
- Content compression leading to less grind
- Revised artifact system
- New class and Hunter
- New weapons for Sung Jin-woo
- Community events
The main focus, however, is the expansion of the story. The narrative is set to seamlessly connect to previous story arcs. In a new trailer shown at the SLC 2026 Showcase, some scenes from the new chapters can be seen. These should be familiar, especially to those who have already read the Manhwa or Webtoon.
Gacha game for Solo Leveling catches up to the anime
How far is the story now? The update for the second anniversary includes the Recruitment Arc, the Ahjin Guild Arc, and the Double Dungeon Arc. These are the upcoming story arcs that have not yet been shown in the Solo Leveling anime over 2 seasons.
As the anime continues the story of the Manhwa or Webtoon, we can expect that the content from the mobile game will not be seen until season 3 of the series. Therefore, the Gacha game has caught up to the anime in terms of content.
In the last episode of season 2, the Recruitment Arc has just begun. Further content from this story section, as well as the two upcoming arcs, are still pending for season 3 or future seasons.
