What makes the game stand out? Imagine someone took the scaling Mythic Plus dungeons from World of Warcraft and created their own game, focusing entirely on that cooperative gameplay experience. There is no leveling phase, no open world, and no countless distracting side content. If that sounds exciting to you, you should try Fellowship on Steam.
Because here it’s all about diving into endlessly scaling dungeon runs with a 4-player group consisting of a tank, healer, and damage dealers, constantly earning better gear. With better gear, you can tackle even more difficult dungeons. The higher you climb, the tougher bosses and modifiers await you.
You don’t create a character that sticks to a specific class forever. Instead, you choose from a pool of heroes that have different strengths and weaknesses and are specialized in their assigned roles.
Unfortunately, with dungeon fun also come some typical dungeon nuisances. During phases when there’s less happening on the servers, it can take a while for the group search to find enough players for a dungeon run. Additionally, some players report toxic experiences due to some individuals behaving poorly or leaving the team in the middle of a run.
The good news: The developers are responding to community feedback and regularly providing new content. As a result, there is currently quite a lot happening in Fellowship – recently over 3,000 players in the 24-hour peak. More about this ups and downs can be found here: Co-op game on Steam offers dungeons like in WoW, gets 28 times more players because it listens to the community
